I can't get over how dramatic Klaus is anytime Cami gets mad at him.

Can I request a fic where Elijah Mikaelson is in love with a human!Reader who isn't his usual type of woman. Reader is always getting in trouble and Elijah is trying to save
I love Elijah trying to save the women he love fics. Simping time baby.
Warnings: Fluff, A bit of angst, Elijah being a bit possessive, Hayley being a bitch, A bit of smut
You had been on your own since you were sixteen and taking care of yourself that was until you met Elijah Mikaelson one night at Rousseau's when he scared off one of your clients that followed you to the bar after you got off work. You shared a few drinks with Elijah sharing that fact you were a stripper and for once you weren't judged for it.
Since that night Elijah was became apart of your everyday life always looking out for you. At first it was sweet and you found him to be a gentleman but now you were annoyed.
"Long night?" Camille asked pouring you a glass of your favorite whiskey as you groaned.
"It would be if I could work Cami." You said downing your whiskey and Camille poured you another glass. Elijah had started to show up at your work paying for your whole shift which was a lot of money. Normally you wouldn't have a problem with it as many businessmen would pay for a stripper's whole shift but the other girls were starting to get jealous and your normal clients were scared off by Elijah.
"Elijah being a hand full?"
"Yes! I get at first he was being a gentleman but now he is getting on my nerves." You growled as you felt a hand on your back and you looked seeing it was Elijah.
"Thanks Cams but I am calling it a night." You said huffing annoyed paying for your drinks walking out and Elijah followed after you.
"Well you fu...." You were cut off by a every brave vampire had grabbed you and was about to bite you. Elijah was quick to kill the vampire then caught you when you tripped over yourself.
"Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." You tell Elijah pushing him away making him smirk. Elijah knew you were annoyed with him and angry with him following you everywhere. But Elijah couldn't help himself for being drawn to you.
"Why do you deny that you are mine?"
"What?! I don't belong to no one!" You growled glaring at Elijah as he couldn't help but find you just gorgeous with the fiery anger in your eyes.
"But you are. When you let me feed from you." Elijah tells you as you glared harder remembering that night you found him hurt nearly bleeding out by your apartment building. You brought him into your apartment cleaning him up and letting him drink from you unaware that you became his.
"You can't hold that against me!" You yell at Elijah then a squeak came from you when Elijah was suddenly in front of you. Elijah put an arm around you gripping your chin kissing you pulling a mewl from you letting him deepen the kiss.
"I am not holding it against you. It is true, you belong to me and if it was up to me you wouldn't have to work again."
You were flushed heart racing as you looked at Elijah shivering as he cupped your cheek rubbing it with his thumb. You knew Elijah well enough now to know he wasn't a man to let go of something. So you swallowed deciding to give into Elijah completely, you gently tugged him down brushing your lips lightly against his.
"Then take what is yours." You whispered looking up at Elijah seeing a dark glit in his eyes. Suddenly you were pressed up against a bedroom wall as Elijah kissed you roughly. Moans and growls filled the room as you both tore at one another's clothing.
You choked out a moan arching when Elijah had set a rough brutal pace once one the bed. Elijah wasn't going easy on you as if you had broke whatever self control he had.
"Elijah.." You panted out cupping his face kissing him hungrily feeling him grabbing your legs moving higher placing one leg over his shoulder the other in the crook of his arm. Elijah leaned back looking down at you seeing your hair damp by sweat face flushed gripping his sheets tightly.
"You take me so well. Is my baby going to cum again?" Elijah asked watching you throw your head back mouth hanging open shaking when he began to rub your clit.
"I.....I..I can't." You tell him turning your head burying your face in the sheets as Elijah smirked leaning down not letting up one bit.
"Come on baby. Just one more." Elijah says latching onto your neck as you shook and whined under him. You felt the air leave you arching off the bed clinging to Elijah biting down hard on his shoulder as you cummed hard with Elijah growling lowly following after.
You fell back against the bed feeling weak as you panted Elijah smiled brushing the hair from your face as the bite mark you left was healing. Elijah gently kissed you then peppered you neck with kisses.
"If....I knew...this was what...I get for giving in....I would have done it months ago." You panted as Elijah chuckled getting up and gently began to clean you up.
"Any lesser man wouldn't have cared as much as I did." Elijah said pulling you into his arms smiling as you kissed his chest.
"Next time....I'll show you my talented mouth." You tell him trying to leave marks on his neck. Elijah laughed pulling you closer kissing you gently.
"I look forward to it baby." Elijah said rubbing your bare back kissing the crown of your head. You woke before Elijah and carefully got out of bed stealing one of his botton ups then grabbed your panties glad he didn't torn them.
"You must be the stripper." You heard someone say as you had gone down to get a snack and water. You looked up seeing it was Hayley, you knew who she was as Elijah told you about her when you indulge him with a private dance.
"I'm......"
"Look I don't care. We both know what you are. A gold digger. Let me guess you let Elijah pay for a few dances, then manipulated Elijah into bed to use him."
You swallowed hiding the pain of what Hayley said and normally you could take it as you were use to wives coming to yell at you. But this hit harder for some reason and you didn't know why. You looked at Hayley.
"No...that's not...what I'm."
"Really? Elijah had spent a lot of money on you and now you are sleeping with him. I think we both know that is a lie. Elijah needs someone better that isn't some lonely stripper." Hayley said as you stood up leaving the kitchen as Hayley stood there arms crossed.
You were on autopilot putting your pants on grabbing your shirt not changing out Elijah's and grabbed your purse looking at a sleeping Elijah. You decided to not leave a note and left the compound not seeing that Hayley was watching.
"Are you sure?" Your boss asked frowning handing your last check to you. You had told your boss that you were quitting and thank her for taking such good care of you.
"Y...y...yeah I just...need something new." You said normally a strong woman but Elijah had soften you. As you used to now being taken care of, able to feel safe for once but what Hayley said hit too close.
"Okay suga but know you are always welcome back. You're family." Your ex boss said hugging you and you hugged back. You said goodbye to the bartender, Andy, and bouncer Daniel both were like big brothers you never had. Once you got your boxes in your car you left New Orleans.
It hurt to leave but you knew you could run into Elijah a little too easy and you knew you'll crawl back to the vampire. You drove until you reached New York finding a tiny apartment and settled down there.
"Where could she have gone?" Elijah growled as Freya was doing a locater spell which was being proven difficult. It only took Elijah an hour to noticed you had left not only his side but the city.
"What is going on?" Hayley asked seeing an angry Elijah and smirking Klaus as Freya was trying to locate something.
"Elijah's little dancer had ran away."
"Oh? I didn't know you were dating." Hayley said thinking she kinda knew who Klaus was about but she wasn't too sure.
"Little wolf they weren't dating. More like the girl belongs to Elijah. But for some reason she left." Klaus said smirking devilishly making Hayley nervous thinking Klaus may know something.
"Belonging to him?"
"I saved her from a client that was too pushy. We talked shared a drink then a month later I was wounded bleeding out in front of her building. She cleaned me up and allowed me to feed from her."
"Since then she is the only one he feeds from unless it is a blood bag." Klaus said surprising Hayley as she looked at Elijah.
"Is that a normal vampire thing?"
"Yes and last night I finally got her to fully give herself to me. But someone has sow seeds of lies in her so once I bring her home. I will find who drove her from me."
Elijah's tone was dark and Klaus stood seeing the red door opening. While Klaus knew what you meant to Elijah, he didn't think you were red door opening worthy.
"I am sure whoever's responsible brother, didn't know how much Y/N meant to you." Klaus said slowly as Hayley looked at Klaus shocked. Now Klaus over heard that morning now he was planning to tease Hayley but now knowing Elijah's red door was opening. It was different.
"Do you know something Niklaus?" Elijah asked calmly too calm as Klaus knew he could take Elijah, Klaus knew Hayley wouldn't have a chance. And before Klaus could say a word he was glad Freya interrupted.
"She is in New York." Once those words left Freya, Elijah was gone. Klaus looked to Hayley.
"Pray Elijah, gets her back Hayley as there is so much I can do to calm Elijah." Klaus said as Hayley let out a breath she didn't know she was holding.
You had just gotten off work feeling sore as the new place you danced at was more demanding but the tips were bigger. You locked your apartment door dropping your bag and keys on the hall table and kicking off heels.
"I would have gotten you a bigger place." You nearly screamed when you saw Elijah sitting in your chair.
"Elijah wh...." You were cut off by Elijah giving you a heated kiss lifting you up by your thighs. You couldn't help but moan into the kiss as Elijah growled deeply taking you over to the chair he was sitting in.
"Now baby. Why did you leave and don't lie." Elijah said pulling you closer as you swallowed seeing the dark glit in his eye the same one he had before fucking you silly.
"I ran into Hayley and well......" You trailed off insecurities you had long forgotten came flooding back as you realized the reason it hurt was because you were in love with Elijah.
"Baby, what happened?" Elijah asked gently wiping the tears at fell from your eyes. You took a shakey breath looking at Elijah seeing his eyes soften.
"Hayley called me a gold digger, telling me that I used you and told me you need.......someone that wasn't a lonely stripper."
Elijah felt a flare of anger for what Hayley had done but focused on you placing soft kisses on your skin reaching up behind you unzipping your dress.
"If anyone needs better baby. It is you, remember I chased you. You could never use me as you are too good for that." Elijah says undressing you slowly until you were in only lingerie.
"But...." You were silenced by a kiss as Elijah held the back of your head gently tugging on your hair. You moaned softly rolling your hips but Elijah stopped you with his other hand.
"I need to punish you for leaving and coming to me about this problem."
"Before you can I just say I love you Elijah." You tell him flushing as arousal flooded your veins seeing the dark look Elijah gave you.
"I love you too baby." Elijah says softly picking you up as he stood up taking you to your bedroom. Indeed Elijah's punishment was one you wouldn't forget as he took you to a place that you didn't know could be reached.
You panted laying on Elijah as he traced random patterns on your bare back as you both whispered I love yous. You both knew you weren't going to let the other go any time soon.

Part One. Part Two. Part Three.
Tumblr media
“That wife of yours has been sneaking around with my brother. Breaking more hearts than just yours from what I can see.”
“I suppose some people just can’t see the worthiness of the king in front of them. If I were your wife, I wouldn’t be like Y/n. I’d be committed you and never give you fib tales like her.”
“You are aware that Y/n has been plotting something nefarious against you, aren’t you?”
“I know you wanted to marry someone just as sinister as you, but perhaps you should’ve checked where her loyalty lied before tying that knot.”
Aurora fed him stories such as these, and many more, each conclusion of the lies spewing from her mouth something appalling about Y/n. At first, Klaus didn’t listen, but as her stories grew worse and worse, the faux feeling of treachery intensified. He knew it was unwise to believe anything that came from the spiteful, jealous woman...yet, his distress caused pain to strike his heart and he yearned to know the truth.
Although, in this case, the “truth” wasn’t actually very truthful.
She often told him things like that Lucien was going after his girl for the second time, first with her when she had her chance and now, his beloved wife. Klaus merely brushed it off with an honest “he tries and I’ll stake him first chance I get”. However, Aurora wasn’t finished yet. She continued to lie and deceive Niklaus about the woman who she accused of replacing her in his life. The envy and loathing Aurora felt for Y/n was her motivator, but the woman was too far up a wall to need one in the first place.
“Are you telling me the truth?” He growled, keeping his eyes trained at the wall in front of them.
“Why do you ask?”
“I need to know I can trust your bold claims. So answer me, Aurora, are you telling me the truth?”
That smug little grin, masking her deluding ways. “Of course, Nik. I would never lie to you.” Her welcome into his trust was unsurprisingly taken advantage of  when she traced her finger down his arm and then brought her hand up his abdomen slowly. Klaus shoved her invasive hand off of his chest though, giving her a warning glare.
“Thank you for informing me.” That was all he said to her before he made his way out of the room in the most hurry she’d ever seen him in.
Aurora smiled conceitedly. Her plans were on the right track. Whilst Nik didn’t have the same feelings for her now as he did way back during the beginning of their story, but Aurora was determined to stir those feelings from the dead as vampirism did him and her.
She drawled under her breath, “I will have you again, Nik.” her mischievous smile grew wider, “I will have you again, and nothing can stop me this time.”
Tumblr media
“Blasphemy!” Niklaus shouted, veins popping out from the rage coursing in his system. He neared Y/n again, the slight fear in her eyes drawing a pause for a second, guilt stilling him, but his anger took the reigns once more.
“It’s not blasphemy! I would never lie to you!”
“The falsity of your deception proves otherwise, love.” He smirked, raising his brows as to question if she would battle his words yet again. Proof was what he needed, but his vexation had drowned out all logic, including his ability to see the proof he wanted so desperately.
“What deception? What falsehood do you believe to have come from my mouth? When I married you, I vowed to be truthful and loyal. You of all people on this fucking earth should know I always keep a vow.” She narrowed her eyes at him. The betrayal he thought he felt was temporary and fabricated, but hers was 100% genuine and seething within her.
“You say that but if you were indeed an untrue person, your answer would be no different.”
“Why do you insist on proving me a traitor!? What has pushed you so far past your breaking point that you actually accuse me, your wife, as a viper?”
“Don’t you pretend like you don’t know the malicious schemes you’ve plotted against me or the affairs you’ve had with men who obviously aren’t your husband!” He couldn’t stop himself now; “I’ve loved you for centuries and you decide to be disloyal and ill-natured?!”
“Says who?!”
“Says Aurora!” After the words flew from his mouth, a tiny part of him realized just how fucked up it sounded. Just how fucked up it was that he believed her over his wife, but the hybrid was stubborn. He was too stubborn to change his belief or admit his fallacious accusations were unjust without proper evidence.
Y/n knew Aurora and Klaus’ story. Her knowledge of the ancient and long forgotten tale made her reaction thousands of times worse. “Aurora? ...Huh. You choose to believe her- that manipulative, lying bitch, over me? I thought you knew me better than that.” She wiped away a rebellious tear, “I thought I knew you better than that.”
Disappointment hung heavy on her features, drawing a feeling of shame from Klaus. Y/n glared at him one last time, her knitted brows and vaguely teary eyes evidence of the heavy-heartedness that overwhelmed her. She bit the inside of her mouth and shook her head disapprovingly before turning and walking out the front gate-doors of the Mikaelson mansion. Klaus was alone.
Tumblr media
The sounds of Davina’s giggles echoed, Cami sitting in front of her and chuckling heartfully as well. Their laughter died off when they noticed Y/n sulking through the front doors of Rousseau's. The place was empty aside from the two women having drinks and a friendly chat. Then Y/n entered and found a seat. The atmosphere, once cheery, suddenly felt melancholy.
“Hey, Y/n, you alright?” Camille’s smile was wiped from her lips. She felt empathy for Klaus’ wife and, as a friendly person in general, she felt overcome with the need to help solve the complication that made her feel so down in the dumps.
“I’m-” She was ready to say fine, Davina and Cami knew it, but she broke down in tears before she could even shape an “o” with her lips. Both women jumped up immediately and sat in the seats beside Y/n. Though Davina couldn’t stand Klaus, she actually liked Y/n and seeing her hurt sent searing pain into her own heart.
“It’s okay, hun,” Cami wrapped an arm over Y/n’s shoulder, her other hand rubbing her other shoulder and arm comfortingly, “take as long as you need, there’s no pressure, no rush, none of that. We’ve got you.”
And so they did. The two women took turns holding Y/n as she cried, and before long, she was ready to talk. She explained Klaus’ anger and the source of their fight, the source of the fake news he’d lashed out because of. Davina and Cami shared a glance when Aurora was mentioned, both women already hating her but equally despising her even more now. Y/n sobbed, crying into Cami’s shoulder about wanting Klaus to just believe her. She said she loved him and because of that, she felt pained by his lack of belief in her.
“He’s not worth it if he can’t see how wrong that decision was-”
“I know, but he’s my husband. I vowed to love him always and forever, to never leave his side, and I intend to keep that vow...so long as he doesn’t do anything to fuck it up any more than he already has.”
The sun began to sink into the dark, not fully quite yet, but still creating it’s beautiful array of colors as a final act before disappearing for the night. About halfway through Y/n’s rant, Cami called Hayley and gave her a summary of what she knew so far. A promise of arriving as soon as she could was returned on Hayley’s end before the line went dead and Cami returned to the table.
Still not entirely after sunset yet, Hayley swung open the door to Rousseau's, catching Davina and Y/n off guard. Despite being the one who called her, Cami stayed seated. Y/n and the witch beside her exchanged confused expressions.
“Are you just gonna sit there or are you gonna tell me what the hell I need to do to Klaus?”
Y/n chuckled softly, wiping away more of the salty tears, before standing and walking over to Hayley, greeting her with a hug. “You don’t have to get involved if you don’t want to-”
“No, trust me, I have to and I want to.” She pulled away and dropped her warm smile, giving Y/n the most serious look she could muster. And as she was Hayley Marshall, it was effortlessly pretty fucking serious. “Now, I want you tell me everything,” the mom voice came out to play, “don’t leave a single detail out. Then, we can discuss what we’re going to do about it.”
Tumblr media
“Where is he?”
Rebekah had been informed by the pissed off werewolf and bartender everything that had happened, resulting in her becoming equally upset. She welcomed Hayley inside the gates and nodded her head up the stairs. “I haven’t said anything to him, so you’ll be lucky enough to catch him by surprise.”
The werewolf nodded in understanding before pacing toward the stairs irritability. “Thanks.”
“Make it hurt!” Rebekah’s voice faded away as she walked out the gates, leaving Hayley alone to find Niklaus.
Atop the stairs, she found no sign of anyone whatsoever, but that was only on the outside. If Klaus happened to be inside on of the many rooms, she wouldn’t waste her time searching. Instead, she waited, leaning against the railing and doing a breathing exercise Y/n taught her during one lonely full-moon.
After minutes of waiting, Klaus finally walked out of a door and started for the stairs. It wasn’t longer than a minute before he stopped in his tracks and realized he’d missed something. He shot a double take in Hayley’s direction, a puzzled expression quickly finding way to his face. It seemed as though he was contemplating whether or not her unexpected appearance was a good thing or a bad thing.
When he seemingly couldn’t make up his mind, staring a few minutes longer, a heavy sigh left her mouth. She was ticked off with him before, but after hearing everything Y/n had to say, she was furious. No, more than furious. The blood boiling rage was incessantly pounding in her head, all she wanted was cause destruction and pain. A rare thing for her.
But now was not the time to lash out, not yet. She inhaled and exhaled, Hayley shifted on her feet and looked around before turning her head to Klaus and beckoned him over to her with a come-hither motion of her index finger.
“What is it?”
She looked at him, flabbergasted that he’d even ask a question as stupid as that, “What is it? What is it, Klaus?” Hayley slapped him, the man doubling back and blinking in astonishment. And not the good kind.
“How dare you lay your hands on me, you-”
“So you’re gonna yell at me now?” She crossed her arms, and unimpressed look resting upon her face. “You know, personally, I think Y/n is better off without you but she’s broken and has been bawling her eyes out nonstop for hours on end, drinking away all the pain that you’ve formed into a stake and shoved into her chest.”
He stopped, fury fleeing his face as he experienced what felt like her words body-slamming into him.
“And guess who’s been there to pick out the splinters?” She poked her finger against her chest over and over again. “Me!” Her eyes never left his, telling him just how sincere about this she really was. “Me! Cami- even Davina!” Hayley threw her hands in the air, emphasizing the shock that came with the information. “Rebekah’s on her way over now, and I’m sure Elijah will see to it that he comforts his sister-in-law as much as he can, but you?”
“I-”
She cut him off, temper still unquenched, thirsty for vengeance. “Let me finish.” She growled. Hayley looked around the room in attempt to calm herself, but it was to no avail.
“You got her into this mess. I just hope you get both of you guys out of it.” She flicked her eyes back to his, giving him her infamous dead eyed glare. “I really hope you do. And you better do it soon. Because I won’t be there to pick the splinters out for you when she realizes she doesn’t need your sorry ass.”

Tumblr media
It started with a kiss
On your momma's couch
2012 was nothing serious
Klaus Mikealson was heartbroken. So heartbroken, in fact, that he had paused his plans from being the king of New Orleans because he had lost his queen.
Her name was Y/n L/n. She wasn’t new to New Orleans, and definitely was not new to the world Klaus had lived in. She was a vampire. 150 years old to be exact. Klaus never understood why they didn’t meet sooner, but he was glad they’d met at all.
Y/n was a fiery, gorgeous girl that Klaus couldn’t help but love at the first sight.
You and him met at the bar. He called you pretty and asked to by you a drink, and you accepted. After that, you two had ended up in your parent’s house, on the couch. Your parents were dead, of course, but you decided to live in the house anyways. It was there, available, and already paid for.
That night, Klaus and you slept together. Both being drunk and finding each other hot, you just went at it. The next morning, you found him gone. You were sad and wished he had stayed to at least give you his number. After that day, you hadn’t seen him for another week until your friend, Hayley, brought you to the Mikealson’s house because you wanted to help. Little did you know, it was Klaus’s house.
And then we caught the feels
It got really real
Too good to be true
I guess I thought you was, yeah
The same day you met formally, Klaus had asked you on a date. You were absolutely overjoyed. You didn’t know when or where you would see him again after this, so of course you took the offer.
You two didn’t realize until you started dating that you two would be the most feared and adored couple in New Orleans. Klaus, wanting to be king and rule, and you, his queen and second command. You were ready to fight with him whenever he needed.
Your relationship was amazing. The dates, the late nights, fighting together, the sex. You never thought you would ever experience these deep feelings for someone. After all this time of just pure living, you were happy and sure that you had found your soulmate. Klaus thought the exact same thing, too. He loved you with all his might, and would never ever dare to let you go.
Why did I run away, run away, run away?
Oh, your love was everything, everything, everything
I know it's gettin' late, gettin' late, gettin' late
But can I still be on my way, on my way? Yeah
After three faithful years, though, something happened. Something you never thought would. Klaus had cheated on you with this girl named Camille O’ Connell. Your best friend, Hayley, told you after walking in on them. Furious as ever and ready to run to tell you.
That night, Klaus had tried to get you back, but it never worked.
“Y/n, please!” Klaus exclaimed, running after you. You ran out of the house, sobbing.
Klaus had put his hand on your wrist, pulling you back to face him.
“What, Klaus!” You shouted. He looked at you. For once, the big bad hybrid was scared. No, not scared; terrified.
“Y/n, I’m sorry. We were drunk, I didn’t mean for it to happen,” Klaus tried to explain himself.
You shook your head, yanking your wrist out from his hand. “You aren’t drunk. You are perfectly sober. Don’t try to lie to me, Klaus Mikealson.”
Klaus looked at you, broken. He didn’t know what to do. He was completely helpless.
“I’m sorry, love. I just... she seduced me!”
“You know how many guys have tried to seduce me?” You asked. “A lot. But you know what, I never said yes. I never even thought of saying yes. And you want to know why? Because... I-I love-loved you,” you screamed, your voice cracking. It hurt you to tell him that you didn’t love him anymore, but you were dealing with this. You had been cheated on before and you knew now not to take anyone’s shit.
“Y-you don’t love me anymore?” Klaus asked. You could see the tears pool in his eyes. It broke your heart to see him hurt, but he did this. He did this to himself.
“No,” you stated. You turned to walk away, but Klaus appeared in front of you.
“Please don’t go. I can make it better. I’ll vow to you that I’ll never sleep with anyone but you. I-”
You laughed, not believing him right now. “For fucksake, Niklaus! You should’ve vowed that in the beginning of this relationship!”
“I.. I did,” he said, getting quieter.
“You... You know, I loved you. I thought you were my soulmate. I thought that we were going to rule New Orleans together,” you cried.
Klaus watched you break down. He wanted to reach out and hold you, kiss your head and tell you everything was going to be okay, but he restrained himself. He knew you would just yell at him more and pull away.
“I was so ready to drop everything for you. For your stupid fucking plan! Did you know that? Huh? I really was ready to commit to whatever you wanted. But again, you are just so selfish-”
This time, he cut you off, angry.
“Don’t disrespect me that way, little vampire.”
You shushed him. “No. No, you don’t deserve my respect. Not anymore. You are just a selfish person, Niklaus. And I don’t want to see you ever, ever again,” you spat.
You then walked away, and Klaus let you. Tears streamed down his face, not believing what just happened. He heard voices and noticed his sister, Rebekah, and older brother, Elijah, watching and gossiping. Klaus was too tired and sad to even yell at then. He just stared at the spot you once stood, knowing he had just made the biggest mistake in his life.
After that night, he had made his way to his room. Sobbing. He didn’t come out for months. His siblings had to slip in blood bags and regular food occasionally. They tried to talk to him, to get him to come out. But he never answered.
One day, though, six months later, he came out. His hair and beard were long. He looked ready to kill. Elijah had tried to make sense to him, but the heartbreak was still there. He was tired of sitting in his bed, looking at pictures of you, so he did the next best thing: he went out to kill.
I know I said, "Goodbye, " and, baby, you said it too
But when I touch her, I feel like I'm cheating on you
I thought that I'd be better when I found someone new
But when I touch her, I feel like I'm cheating on you
A week after he came out, he had already slept and ate more than half of the city. He hadn’t turned his humanity off, actually. He just felt nothing and proceeded to do nothing to fix it.
You were still in his mind. Every day he woke up, he still expected you to be there. Curled up next to him, sleeping peacefully. Every time he would plan something, he was used to you being by his side. Arguing with him, agreeing, and kissing him when your guy’s plan was perfect and ready to launch. Every night, he would look at his bed, imagining you there. Reading a book or sitting on the bed in lingerie, waiting to be given one of the best nights of your life. But sadly, it was just in his head. You weren’t there, you never would be again.
Even when he slept with someone you were in his mind. Every time he would touch another woman, kiss her, he felt the same guilt he felt when you found out he was sleeping with Cami. He still slept with them though. It turned out you were right. He realized he was selfish and only cared about himself. Oh, how he wished he could change the past.
He never thought he would see you again, but low and behold, he did. You were at the mall with Hayley, shopping for clothes for Hope, Hayley and Klaus’s child.
Funnily enough, you weren’t bothered by the fact Klaus had slept with Hayley. It was before you got together and you didn’t want to admit it, but they produced a beautiful baby girl.
Klaus had spotted you across the store, his heart stopping. You looked happy. Very happy. It made his blood boil, but he knew it wasn’t fair to get mad. You two had said your goodbyes, there was no reason to get mad anymore.
Baby, now, oh, cheating on you
Baby, now
But when I touch her, I feel like I'm cheating on you
While shopping, Hayley had noticed Klaus. You saw her looking at something and saw it was him. Your heart stopped as well. You thought you were over him, but turns out, you thought he was just as handsome as he was before. He looked twice as good as before. And your heart hurt three times more than it ever did. You still loved him, despite you saying you didn’t and telling yourself you didn’t. You knew deep down that the love as intense as you had felt for Klaus would never go away. No matter how much time passed, it would never go away.
“I’m going to talk to him,” you decided. Hayley looked at you, shocked.
“What? Why? We hate him, remember,” Hayley said.
“I know, but, I just want to talk to him,” you shrugged and gave the clothes you had in your hands to Hayley. You ran off before she could convince you not to.
You wanted to give him another chance. You knew that you would never find a love as great as your’s and Klaus’s, so you wanted to try again. You knew you were going against your own morals, but Klaus was something else. You also knew that over the year and a half, you had worked on yourself. Your body and your mind. You knew that you were worth something. You were capable of being loved. And if he didn’t want you, then it was his loss.
You walked up to him, trying to seem confident. He smirked, noticing your efforts.
“Hello, love,” he said.
“Hi, Klaus,” you sighed.
He looked over you. You were still as gorgeous as ever.
“How are you?” He asked. “Good, and you?” You asked.
“Splendid. What have you been up to?”
“Nothing much,” you shrugged. You asked him the same question in return.
“Same old. Sleeping with women, binge drinking, plotting to take over the city and world,” he smirked.
Your face fell when he said the first thing. You grimaced at him. “You haven’t changed a bit Klaus. You know, I came over here, wanting to give you a chance.”
You went to walk away, but Klaus put his hand on your shoulder. Butterflies irrupted in your stomach, making your legs go weak.
Instead of walking away, you turned around. You were wondering what he was going to say.
“Y/n, look, I’m sorry,” he started. “I am terribly sorry for what I did to you. I have realized now that you are the only woman I love. You will always be the only woman I truly love. I have no explanation for my past behavior other than I am a fucking moron. I lost you and I don’t want to again. And I would love it if you gave me another chance. Whatever it takes, please give me another chance. I’ll change, I promise,” he poured out.
You looked into his eyes, knowing it was the truth. You sighed and put your hand on his bicep.
“You don’t have to change totally. I just want to know that you will work for my trust again. You have to earn it now,” you said.
Klaus smiled, “I will. I promise. You will see me change. You have my word.”
“Good,” you said, knowing he was truthful. “But before we sleep together again, get tested.”
Klaus blushed, “I will, don’t worry. And sleeping with all those women made it feel like I was cheating on you. I never want to make you feel that way again. And I sure as hell don’t want to feel that guilt again. So, let me take you to dinner tonight. Anywhere you want, anytime.”
You smiled and nodded. “Deal. How about tonight at 8 we can go where we met first.”
He nodded excitedly. For the first time, he felt hopeful.
“Remember, if you cheat on me again, I will make sure your ass ends up in a coffin forever,” you half-teased.
“Don’t worry, Y/n. I promise you I won’t. Like I said, you have my word,” he said, scooting closer to you. “I love you, Y/n L/n.”
You leaned in and said, “I love you, too, Niklaus Mikealson.”

Loyalty - Marcel Gerard
Summary: With Mystic Falls out of sight and New Orleans in view, you decide to make friends with the locals. Helpful when said friend turns out to be the King
Warnings: M/M smut (21+), Bareback (Wrap Before you Tap!)
Tumblr media
When you all arrived at the Mikaelson’s old kingdom, it was nearing lunchtime, so you expected the streets would be empty, however New Orleans was bustling with activity, whether people were visiting shops, eating at café’s or painting in the streets. You winded your way through the French Quarter “Klaus, where are we going?” You asked “The King’s Quarters, I hope they are hospitable to their original king” Klaus explained. Eventually the group reached a courtyard “Hello! Anyone there? The conquering hero returns!” Kol rolled his eyes “Niklaus, no ones here, you can stop hamming it up.” “Look who’s talking!” Tyler snapped back “Guys! We’ve all had a long night, we don’t need to be at each others throats.” You said “Look if we split up & try to find supernatural elements, maybe we’ll find the king in the quarter, “Stefan, you have the biggest chance of draining someone, so I need you to mind our bags, if something happens, we’ll call you to help, everyone else, move out!” With the plan in order Klaus took Rebekah, Elijah escorted a still grumpy Tyler & Kol, and you moved out by yourself, armed with the various detection skills you learnt from The Council & Klaus.
As you wondered the streets for a while, you came across a karaoke bar. Deciding to give it a shot/break, you headed into the roarcus crowd, which mainly consisted of women, which you understood once you glanced to the stage. A beautiful man was performing ‘How You Like Me Now?’ He was dark skinned, had the brightest smile you had ever seen & such a great energy, you found yourself entranced by the man, eventually he saw you & flashed a very flirty wink and a grin in your direction which melted you, how you wanted him to fuck you, then Klaus might turn him so he could be in this open relationship you & Klaus had. Eventually he finished his number & went over to get a drink, you hastened over while the women went back to their business “Sir, excuse me” the man turned “Hello sweet thing, I saw you in the crowd. Here for an autograph? Or something else maybe?” He was very forward but had such a swaveness that you couldn’t be flustered, he let you answer his questions. “Maybe another time, I’m new in town and I needed some help around.” “Sure thing Mr.” “Y/N.” “Well Mr. Y/N I’m Marcel Gerard and something tells me I shouldn’t keep a gentleman like you waiting.” He gulfed his drink down and led you out.
You spent a good time with this new man, as you walked through the Quarter, getting a good idea of where everything was “Thanks Marcel for all the help, but I need to ask you about The King’s Quarters.” He stopped “What? There is no King’s Quarters in New-“ “Look Marcel, your charming to get me to shake me off your back, but I see the daylight ring on your finger, the crescent of the Mikaelson’s is old and faded to blend in with the public, but it’s still there.” Marcel grinned “Well ain’t you clever babe.” “Well after all this is settled maybe you can call me more than babe, but until then, I need to know where the King of New Orleans is.” Marcel let out a gutteral laugh “Baby boy, you’re looking right at him.” You smiled “Thank you, your grace, let’s walk and talk my situation.” You messaged Klaus on the way over ‘I found him, get back to King’s Quarters, also he’s very flirty, do with that what you will’
You crossed back to the King’s Quarters & found the entire group waiting. Marcel crossed over, locking eyes with the hybrid “Klaus” “Marcel” he responded “Wait, THE Marcel?” Klaus had told you about him, the only vampire he ever made, the one he though Mikael had slaughtered. Marcel grinned “This one you have Klaus, he’s smart, don’t let him go.” Klaus smirks “Wasn’t planning on it, never will.” “Been a long time roughly a hundred years since papa ran you out of town.” Your eyes widened, this was not a good way to start a conversation “Yes he did, recently I turned daddy into dust with Tyler’s help, so that takes care of the hunting issue.” Tyler beamed happily which Marcel noticed “You made your own loyal hybrids.” “My fellow creatures, with the help of Y/N. So I’m no longer the lonely King you knew, now I’m a fully fledged hybrid.” Marcel stood to ponder this “If I had known you were back, I’d have thrown you a damn parade.” Marcel broke into a happy laugh which Klaus reciprocated and the two hugged “Well, I guess I owe my sire a drink.” “Amongst other things” Marcel grinned at Klaus’s proposition “Head upstairs the dining room is the ending room on the left” you turned to Kol & Stefan “You two need to handle our bags, I still need to calm you down Kol.” “No matter sweetheart, I have to get ready for a date anyway.” You spluttered “You didn’t comepl a townsperson did you?” Tyler silently laughed not wanting to erk Kol’s wrath “No, I’m capable of making men want me online without having to do some eye magic.” grinning as you turned, you went into Marcel’s pad. A dining room/kitchen was presented, with a long hallway, connecting the bedrooms & the study room. Extremely tired following a long drive & the attempts to find Marcel, you picked a far off room, had Tyler drop your bags in before you yourself dropped off.
After what felt like a blissful sleep, you woke up to the sounds of men shouting: Klaus and Marcel. Agitated, you flapped a pillow over your ears, but couldn’t block it out. Eventually you heard distinctly Elijah, trying to get them to calm down. Once both raised their tones to Elijah, you realised they weren’t being happily rowdy, they were arguing. You stood up, exited your room, not caring your hair was tossled & stomped up to the dining room “Guys, I can hear you screaming down the hallway, what’s going on?” “Marcel is being difficult” Klaus started “Difficult? It wouldn’t be if what you were asking wasn’t public suicide!” Marcel retaliated “So given none of you want to be direct, Elijah will you explain?” “Gladly” Elijah returned to you “Klaus was King of New Orleans and given he was chased out by Mikael, thinks he deserves his throne back, as it would give us protection against Esther if she retaliates, however Marcel has been ruling since he left and won’t give it up.” Now everything made sense “Key word: IF.” Marcel responded “Also there’s protection on the Quarter.” “Not enough if we were able to get in easily.” Marcel brushed this off, “You avoided your authority since you left, why should I even give you the throne back?” “Because I was forced out against my will, I never abdicated, I wanted to return but I had to deal with Mikael and my hybrids.” “There is an entire legacy left by me, how could you ever master it in a day.” “I would master it in less & need I remind you Marcellus, I also have a legacy, all aligning these rooms, even standing before me, however this tapestry of it is showing it’s maker clear disrespect.” “How dare you! You may be my maker but here in New Orleans, I am your king & I demand respect!” Klaus & Marcel’s voices had continued to rise throughout their exchange so they didn’t notice yours bellowing “FOR FUCK’S SAKE, BOTH OF YOU STOP!” You yelled. Klaus & Marcel taken aback, fell silent “Thank you! Now Klaus, we can do this discussion without it turning into screaming, you’ve done it with me. Marcel, a bit of thinking could help everything. Technically Klaus did not abdicate, whenever a leader goes off to a war or on a visit somewhere, they don’t suddenly abdicate, so Klaus should be king, now he has returned.” Klaus grinned but you shot him a warning look, causing it to fall “Now, no one is trying to discount what you have done Marcel, you took something that burnt & made it incredible, however Klaus returning to power means massive protection and Marcel, if your guests are protected here, then why were we able to walk straight in?” Marcel’s slight smile when you complimented his legacy fell at this. “Now, you supernatural’s can process things fast, but for me it’s been less than a full day then when we started running from Mystic Falls, my own home for 22 years! And I have put up with it and not complained, but instead of respect, I’m met with men having a cock fight over something that could be resolved if you weren’t shoving sticks up your ass! Elijah moderate this damn conversation, I’m leaving. And do not call me back unless you have reached a fucking agreement!” You stormed away from the compound, out into the New Orleans night.
You spent a good deal of time looking around, you had purchased a nice set of beads from a trinket shop, and had looked around at the paintings of art. Whilst there you met a woman named Cami, who took you to one of the restaurants and without mentioning everything, you gave her a rundown of what was occurring “Well your partner should know that Marcel is incredibly stubborn. He won’t stop till he gets his way.” “Well that’s marvellous to me!” You said very sarcastically, Cami noticing gave you a hug “I’m sure it’ll work out.” At that exact moment, Elijah went through the door & walked up to you, taking you aside “Klaus & Marcel have worked things out, they are waiting for you at the King’s Quarters.” You nodded, said your goodbyes to Cami and walked back with Elijah. You entered the King’s Quarters and saw Klaus & Marcel sitting together at the table ‘At least they’re sitting together with no sign of a scuffle’ you thought. Elijah excused himself as you sat down “So? What’s the decision” Marcel cleared his throat “Klaus is the king, he’ll have a time of growing into the role, as I’ll help him get used to the supernatural community and how things are run. I’ll stay on as a Vampire advisor.” “See! That wasn’t so hard was it!” You chimed in “I could see how you’d think that, but you know of my history right, how I turned” you nodded “You were 21 years old, a new life on the horizon & you were attacked by a racist. Klaus saved you, and aware you could be struck down by the local racist group, turned you and gave you the skills to take them out.” Exactly, I’m not the guy to run off from a fight, so me doing this is difficult and rare.” You nodded “It’s a great thing you’re doing Marcel, and we’ll make sure you are still given the respect you deserve.” Marcel subtly grinned while laughing ‘Well, I know you will.” “And what’s that supposed to mean?” You asked.
“Love, there is still a condition that this deal was struck on.” You turned to Klaus as he made his statement “And what was that?” “Marcel wants in on our open relationship.” You turned to Marcel “Yeah, that’s what swayed me, you see I could smell your arousal as you watched me perform and that made my cock hard, if you hadn’t gotten me to take you around, I would have pulled you into the bathroom & fucked you. I also liked how you swung me round when I was arguing with Klaus, you have guts, I can see why my sire likes you. And now, I want to have you as well. So what’s it gonna be, take it or leave it?” He whispered the last part in your ear “You said you were the king, show me that power. Make my mind up for me.” Marcel threw you both onto the table & kissed you, speedily taking both your clothes off “You want Some hot chocolate babe?” “Yes sir, I want every drop.” He grinned “Then suck my cock.” He moved upwards to your mouth as you sucked his cock “Oh fuck!” Marcel moaned “Yeah, like that, suck it down.” As Marcel got his cock sucked by you, he looked forwards to see Klaus stroking himself, his portege and his lover engaged with each other had made him painfully hard. Marcel pulled himself off you & lifted you up to see Klaus “Look what you do to him! The big string hybrid, stroking his cock for you, for us!” You kissed Marcel again, running your hands down his muscular chest “Fuck, you’re so beautiful!” You moaned, Marcel grinned “Well, gotta make my man happy.” You sucked his balls, causing Marcel to throw his head back and scream out “OH FUCK YES! THAT’S IT Y/N! KEEP GOING & YOU’LL MAKE ME CUM!” You pulled off, and heard Marcel whine “Shoot your load in my ass Marcel, I want you.” Marcel’s whine turned into excitement, he grinned before slamming you onto the table before thrusting in.
You let out a massive groan, he was massive, probably as big as Klaus. You set a nice rhythm with Marcel spinning his hips, smacking into your prostate. “Oh fuck!” You moaned out “That’s it baby, fall apart from my dick!” Marcel groaned in such a passionate beautiful way, you leant up to kiss him. “You look so beautiful Marcel.” He grinned “You are as well, look at you, all covered in sweat, gleaming as much as me.” Marcel suddenly changed to vampire speed, making you cry out as you were brought nearly to your end, when he suddenly returned to normal speed “What the?-” you started but Marcel placed his index finger on your lips “Nah uh Y/N, remember you wanted me to show you how I can be King, and this King is benevolent, he wants you to come with him, and I’m nowhere near done.” He shot a grin, pearly white teeth agleam and continued his torturous pace. Your toes curled from how good Marcel was dicking you down, and you clenched them around the table for a grip. Sensing your tenseness from his powerful thrusts, Marcel grinned down at you and persisted relentlessly "Fuck:, he groaned out, throwing his head back, when he turned back down, you saw the familiar black veins under his eyes, he wanted to feed. "Sorry Y/N, you smell mouth-watering, I've gotta have you." he said, lowering himself down to your neck, "Then take me" you softly cooed, turning your head to the side, granting him better access. Marcel did not waste time and struck, drinking you down deeply as he continued to fuck you. The strength of Marcel's pace and his and soon you noticed you were approaching your end “Fuck Marcel, I’m gonna cum!”, the vampire withdrawing from your neck, a trail of blood oozing from his mouth “That’s right Y/N, cum for me, shoot it over me.” You moaned as you did as he asked, shooting your load over his chest, he scooped it up & tasted it “Damn, your load is as good as your blood!” He kissed you, both of you now covered in blood and seed as Marcel resumed his brutal pace, making you cry out even more as Marcel bucked, determined to reach his peak as well. “Oh fuck, I’m gonna cum! OH FUCK YES!” Marcel yelled as he shot his load inside you. Falling back onto the table, you both drew in breath, Marcel leaning down to kiss you “My king, he’s all yours.” He zipped up to his wide open room, this time the observer and watched the hybrid walk over to you “Well love, when you get your strength back, want to break the table?” You grinned, leaning up to kiss the hybrid.

Five years after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
‘Bekah, really this is completely unnecessary.’ I tried to reason with her, but I wasn’t surprised when my protests seemed to fall on deaf ears.
‘It may not be necessary but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening.’ She winked, turning back to the owner of the cute little clothes store we’d found in the centre of the city. She was compelling her to let us have free run of the store, seeing as clothes were limited and she didn’t want to lose out on the perfect outfit to someone else.
While she did that, I wondered around, absentmindedly looking at the different clothes she had to offer. I had to hand it to her, everything was beautiful and all one of a kind, seeing as she made the clothes herself and only ever made ten of everything. Once they sold, that was it.
‘Find anything?’ I asked Elena when I reached her.
‘Oh my--,’ she cut off with a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart.
‘Sorry.’ I grinned, amused that after so many years of me being a vampire I could still startle her.
She shot me a look, clearly not believing my apology but she waved me off anyway.
‘You know, I’m surprised I can still startle you with your newfound heightened senses.’ I teased.
Elena had become a vampire a few years ago, after she had turned twenty. She had given it a lot of thought beforehand, and was content with her decision when she asked Stefan to turn her so that she could spend an eternity by his side. The younger Salvatore had been hesitant, but after my sister assured him that she had done nothing but think about it since she met him, he followed through with her request.
‘Well I was too busy wondering if this top would look cute on me.’ She protested, holding up a white and baby pink lace crop top.
‘It would not.’ Bekah interjected, sliding up next to me and holding out a similar style crop top but in red, ‘this colour suits your skin tone better.’
‘Thank you, Bekah.’ Elena smiled gratefully and put the reject back on the rack before adding the new addition to her basket.
I smirked in amusement when I realised that Elena had already gathered enough to fill half her basket, while Bekah had enough to warrant moving onto a third while I had nothing.
Bekah seemed to notice that too, ‘why haven’t you got anything in your basket yet? We only have another hour until we need to be back for dinner and the barbecue is tomorrow!’
‘I know,’ I sighed, running a hand through my hair, ‘I’ve never been good at picking out clothes for myself Bekah. I hate shopping.’
Elena and Bekah gasped dramatically, as if this was news to them, which of course it wasn’t. I rolled my eyes at their dramatics, but a small smile still found its way to my lips.
‘Well that’s easy enough. I’ll pick something for you.’ Bekah smiled, already wondering off to the back wall—I imagined she already had something in mind.
A few years ago, I would’ve tried to stop her, but I knew that she would only pick something that would compliment my figure and my personal tastes. She had a gift when it came to styling people, in any other time she could’ve been an amazing personal shopper. But then again, owning her own clothing line seemed more Bekah’s style.
‘So when are Stefan and Damon getting in?’ I asked, following Elena around while she browsed through the other options.
‘Tonight after dinner, which sucks but we can all probably watch a movie together.’ Elena replied, the excitement at the prospect of seeing her love leaking into her voice.
‘True, though it is Kol’s turn to pick this month. Probably means we’re gonna be stuck watching some gory horror movie.’ I rolled my eyes fondly—the younger Mikaelson loved watching scary movies to mock and point holes in the stories.
‘Better than Elijah’s documentary obsession.’ Elena joked. She wasn’t wrong, though. Elijah was fascinated with watching documentaries on anything—the last time it had been his pick, we sat through a two hour movie on how cans were made.
‘No arguments here.’ Bekah laughed, adding an armful of clothes to my basket.
I knew there was more than one outfit choice there, but I also knew better than to argue—she liked to add options for me to choose from, plus anything I didn’t want to wear tomorrow I could just wear some other time.
‘Thanks, Bekah.’ I smiled offering her a side hug, ‘you’re a godsend.’
Bekah snorted, commenting on the fact that no one had ever called her that in a thousand years. She offered me a kind smile though and I knew she was grateful for the compliment.
‘Well if everyone’s finished, I’m craving something sweet.’ Elena mused.
‘I know just the place.’ Bekah smirked; I could already feel my mouth watering at the prospect of pastries.
 //
‘So, how’s being newly married?’ Bekah asked my sister just as I’d taken a huge bit of one of the beignets from the centre of the table.
My eyes closed in pleasure and I couldn’t help the small moan that formed at the back of my throat from the taste. Heaven.
‘Great.’ Elena’s expression visibly lit up, as it always did when she spoke of her relationship with the younger Salvatore, ‘we’re actually thinking about moving to New Orleans permanently. Stefan wants to talk to you guys about it first, just to make sure it’s alright, but hopefully there won’t be an issue. I’m ready to move on from Mystic Falls, and I want to be closer to my second family, seeing as the only ones really left back home are me, Stefan, Damon and Bonnie.’
It was true; Jeremy and a few of his friends from school had decided to travel the world before committing to a college, and Jenna had moved back to Denver after Jeremy had graduated. The old house was currently being rented out by Jenna being as none of us had the heart to put it up for sale.
‘I don’t think that will be a problem, Elena you’re family.’ I assured her with a smile, honestly the thought of her moving to the city filled me with joy, ‘the Mikaelson’s love you like a sister, and Stefan and Nik have the biggest bromance going on, there should be zero issues.’
‘She’s right, Lena.’ Bekah assured her, her blue eyes sparkling with excitement—I imagined mine looked the same. The prospect of us all living in the same city all the time was just too wonderful to comprehend. Usually we had to made do with one weekend a month—that was the mandatory minimum for the whole family to meet up, no matter where they were in the world they had to be back for family weekend. Though to be fair, Elena, Stefan and Damon were the only ones who didn’t live in the city permanently, so that rule only really applied to them.
‘Do you think Bonnie will come to the barbecue?’ I wondered, sipping my caramel latte as I waited for an answer.
Bonnie was a somewhat touchy subject for the group. When I’d gathered the courage and will to go back to Mystic Falls to tell my family the truth about what had happened, Bonnie and Katherine were the only two who had an issue. Bonnie because she believed I’d defied the balance of nature by helping break a curse that had been in place for so long, and Katherine because she’d lost five hundred years bound to paranoia and fear.
It had taken some time, but eventually Bonnie realised that if the curse shouldn’t have been broken, the means to break it wouldn’t have existed. Katherine was more stubborn and even attempted to gather enough firepower from witches, vampires and werewolves to take Klaus and Elijah down. Of course, when they found out whom she wanted them to go up against they immediately backed out, a few even coming to New Orleans to warn the Mikaelsons of the potential threat—they didn’t want to go up against the strongest supernatural army in the world. Which was of course what the Mikaelson’s had built in New Orleans. It was the place that any species could come and live with different supernatural creatures in harmony. They did such a good job ruling it, fairly and with a genuine care for each and every person, that the loyalty they earned from each member of the city was unwavering. That was something Katherine hadn’t realised, until it was too late.
Klaus and Elijah had sent a few werewolves and vampires for her to “recruit.” Of course, it had been a ploy to lure her to New Orleans and once they had her, they gave her three options:
-       Give up her ploy for revenge and start living her immortal life without a thirst for repentance
-       Let herself be compelled to once again forget why she wanted vengeance
-       Or die.
Her rage had inevitably made the decision for her. After she had been given her options, I had returned to the compound after meeting Cami for a drink at Rousseau’s. My appearance reminded her of her hatred and she’d attempted to attack me immediately, before she could however Elijah had removed her heart while Klaus had flashed to my side, prepared to aid me should I need it. We had both stared at the elder Mikaelson in shock, but he simply dropped her heart and ordered for her body to be burned to ash.
I still remembered the conversation I’d had with him that night.
A few months after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
I took a deep breath, trying to build up the courage to knock on his door, but I found myself shuffling from foot to foot. I was just about to bolt and return to bed with Nik when the door opened of its own accord.
‘Evangeline, is there something I can help you with?’ Elijah’s calm voice tampered a little of my anxiety, as did the absence of anger or sorrow in his eyes. But I didn’t let that fool me completely—I knew just as well as anyone that he was the best at withholding emotions from those closest to him.
‘I- I just wanted to apologise.’ I said, clearing my throat as my voice broke.
‘Whatever for?’ he gestured for me to enter his bedroom and I took a seat on one of the armchairs he had opposite his bed. Elijah himself perched himself on the foot of his bed, rolling his shirtsleeves up to his elbows as he awaited my response.
‘For Katherine. I know you cared for her once, and it’s my fault that nothing happened with her.’ I murmured, suddenly finding myself enamoured with the sleeves of the Henley that I was wearing that happened to belong to my hybrid.
‘If I ever cared for Katarina, it was because she reminded me of another life.’ Elijah said, the softness of his voice caused me to look up to him, ‘she reminded me of a time where my biggest worry was competing with my brother to win the affections of a woman who looked a lot like her.’
‘Tatia.’ I said, familiar with the story.
‘Indeed. When we were human my biggest concerns were trying to win Tatia’s hand in marriage, and protecting my siblings from our brute of a father. Katarina reminded me of that, and as a result caused me to yearn for that simplicity.’
 I nodded, somewhat understanding.
‘Of course, that changed when I realised that Niklaus was finding his humanity, due to a mysterious girl from the future.’ Elijah smiled knowingly at me, and I couldn’t help but look down, grateful that I couldn’t blush, ‘you see Evangeline, your appearance in our lives made me yearn for my life in the present. It made me yearn for a time that we could all sit down together as a family and be happy. Happier than we ever were when we lived in that small village in Mystic Falls over a thousand years ago. For the first time in a long time, I was excited by what the future would bring, rather than being consumed with dread over the prospect of witnessing my family commit heinous acts before my very eyes. You saved this family. And for Katarina to come along and try to inadvertently tear that apart, well you know by now… no one hurts my family and lives. And you, Evangeline are just as much a part of this family as I am.’
I knew that my cheeks were wet with tears but I didn’t care. In a flash I was hugging Elijah and unconsciously soaking his shirt with tears. He hugged me back and I found myself grateful and lucky to have been accepted into the Mikaelson family.
‘Thank you, Elijah.’ I murmured against his chest.
‘Always and forever, sister.’ He murmured back, placing a chaste kiss to the top of my head.
Back to five years after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
That had been a few months after I returned from the past, and Elijah and I had only grown closer. He was like the big brother I had always wanted, and being accepted into the fold meant that I was also gifted with the huge family I’d always yearned for. I was immensely grateful, being as I’d given up on the idea of a big family when I’d been turned into a vampire. I was lucky, and a day didn’t go by where I wasn’t reminded of that.
‘No. She’s accepted everything and I know she understands, but she doesn’t want to be a part of it.’ Elena said, her bright expression dimming considerably at the reminder of her absent ex-best friend.
‘I’m sorry sweetie.’ I murmured, squeezing her hand comfortingly.
‘It’s okay. It’s her life to live, and she doesn’t want to live it immersed in the supernatural world like we do. That’s her choice and she’s well within her rights to make it.’ Elena murmured, her eyes conveying the sincerity behind her words.
It sucked, of course it did, but Elena was right. Bonnie was living her life like she wanted to—without vampires, hybrids and werewolves. Elena and I still loved her, but we knew it was just a part of life; some people are only meant to be in your life for a certain amount of time before you drift apart and they leave you with the memories you created together.

‘Aren’t you ever going to tire of painting me?’ I murmured, partially amused and fond from where I leaned against the doorframe.
After lunch with my sisters, I’d returned to the compound and after placing my newly acquired clothes into our room, I went to find him. Where I found him wasn’t a surprise; he was in his art studio painting yet another portrait of me. My heart fluttered every time I saw him taking the time to put me onto another canvas; I’d been so overcome with love when he’d shown me the ones he’d painted in my absence that I’d been reduced to a puddle of tears. Nik still had yet to let me hear the end of that.
‘How could one ever tire of capturing such beauty?’ he grinned, his eyes sparkling with adoration as he turned to face me. In a flash I was at his side, my arm wound around his waist as I placed a chaste yet passionate kiss to his lips.
‘How was your day?’ he asked, pulling me against his chest and winding his arms around my waist.
‘Fine. Bekah picked out some clothes for me to wear tomorrow.’ I told him, my hands resting against his chest and my head against his shoulder.
He chuckled, ‘I don’t know why you go; you hate shopping.’
I hummed in agreement before adding, ‘but I love spending time with my sisters.’
‘Forgive me, I find it hard to imagine why anyone would enjoy Bekah’s company.’ He deadpanned, but broke out into a laugh when I lightly slapped his shoulder in reprimand.
‘Elena mentioned that her and Stefan were thinking of moving here.’ I grinned, my hands moving to his shoulders as I leaned back to meet his gaze.
‘Is that so?’ he said, his hands falling to my hips as a smile formed on his at the sight of my happiness.
I nodded, ‘she mentioned Stefan wanted to run it by you all first, but it you’re okay with it then they’re gonna come.’
‘Why would we have a problem?’ he mused, his eyes dancing with mirth.
‘I think it’s Stefan’s idea to be honest. Just to make sure they’re not stepping on any toes.’ I shrugged, not really understanding the need for permission myself.
‘Well I’d never deny them residence here and I doubt anyone else would either, lest they incur your wrath.’ He teased, grinning when I playfully glared at him.
‘I don’t know what you’re talking about.’ I said innocently.
It was true, of course. Over my time with the Mikaelson’s I’d gained a reputation. My temper was known to rival Nik’s when someone threatened or hurt my family. I’d always been protective, and that instinct had only become heightened when I’d become a vampire. And now I had a family that ruled New Orleans, we were bound to attract trouble, which led to my protective instincts rearing their head more often than I was used to. The Mikaelson’s, Nik especially, thought my ability to go from calm to a force that the devil himself would be intimidated by was hilarious. But I couldn’t help it. And I was happy to have found a family that understood and even rivalled my over protective tendencies. I thought back to the first time we’d incurred a threat after Katherine.
A year after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
I woke up to the sun shining on my face, which wasn’t unusual seeing as Nik and I had a habit of forgetting to close the drapes. I smiled when I felt his arms still wrapped around me, his warmth seeping through the shirt of his I was wearing. I rolled over to face him and was unsurprised to see his eyes already open; it was rare that I awoke before him, but even though he woke before me most days, he preferred to stay and hold me until I woke up before he even thought of getting out of bed. I’d asked him about it before and he’d admitted to taking the time to bask in the gratitude he felt for finally being able to wake up with me in his arms. I’d held him tight after that.
‘Good morning my love.’ His voice was husky with sleep, and I couldn’t help the small shiver of desire that shot down my spine.
‘Good morning my hybrid.’ I murmured back, placing a kiss to his cheek, a wave of adoration washing over me at his bashful smile that always followed me calling him that.
That became my nickname for him not long after I found him again and he was able to finally reveal that he had broken his curse. At first, the reception had varied from fear to acceptance. Unfortunately the latter opinion was rare; Elena and everyone from back home had accepted it fairly quickly, though I assumed that Elena not needing to die for the curse to be broken was the main reason for that. It took a while for the factions of New Orleans to realise that Klaus being part werewolf as well as vampire made no difference to who he was as a ruler. When they did, the criticism, fear and disgust had dissipated. Though Nik liked to joke that my attitude towards those who criticised him was the main reason for that. I’d started calling him “My Hybrid” because I wanted him to know he had no reason to be ashamed of who he was, and to remind him that I loved every single part of him.
‘Do we have any plans today?’ I wondered, nuzzling into his neck, his scent keeping me in a state of contentedness. My eyes were starting to flutter shut again, and I found myself not wanting to fight it.
‘Actually, Sophie has contacted Elijah and informed us of a potential threat coming to New Orleans.’ Nik murmured, his lips against my hair.
‘Hmmm.’ I said, not really processing his words and placing a kiss onto the side of his neck.
He chuckled kissing my hair and pulling me tighter against him, ‘I should tell you of all potential threats after you’ve just woken up my love.’
‘Hmmm.’ I sighed as his hand starting to move back and forth across my lower back.
I thought I heard him chuckle again and it made me smile as I fell into unconsciousness.
 //
Kol and Bekah were doubled over in laughter where we were gathered in the courtyard of the compound. Klaus was laughing a lot less rambunctiously, while Elijah was a lot more reserved, though his amusement was still obvious on his expression.
‘I don’t bloody believe this.’ I muttered, shaking my head in exasperation, ‘are you having me on?’
‘No my love, we’re not.’ Nik’s dimpled smile eased my embarrassment a little, ‘I told you of the threat three days ago after you woke up. You must have still been half asleep.’
‘That’s cheating!’ I complained, slapping his shoulder, ‘you should’ve told me again when I was actually awake.’
‘Technically you were conscious.’ Kol pointed out, seeming to have recovered enough to add a comment.
‘Obviously not enough.’ I rolled my eyes and ran a hand through my hair, ‘now tell me about this threat.’
‘The De Martials are on their way to New Orleans.’ Elijah said solemnly and I nodded, familiar with the story.
The elder Mikaelson had informed Niklaus over what he had done a few centuries after I’d returned to the future, and Nik had told me a few months ago. Nik had definitely been furious but his rage had subsided when he realised why his elder brother had done what he’d done. It had been around that time that Nik had told his siblings the truth about what happened to their mother. The reactions to that news had varied. Kol hadn’t had much of one, Elijah had already known but Bekah had taken it the hardest. But after some time, she came to forgive him.
‘So they want revenge for the time they spent pretending to be you and leading Mikael astray.’ I summarised, the wheels in my head turning.
‘I’d imagine so.’ Bekah mused, coming to sit by me on the sofa and stretching her legs out over my lap. Kol came to sit on the other side of me and rolled his eyes at the intrusion of Bekah’s legs on his lap as well, but he didn’t protest.
‘Do you think Aurora might have other motivations?’ I asked, internally wincing at the insecurity in my voice.
‘If that psychotic bitch comes anywhere near you darling, I can assure you she will be torn limb from limb.’ Kol patted my shoulder for reassurance.
‘That’s not what I’m worried about.’ I rolled my eyes and then frowned, ‘why would she be interested in me? I doubt she even knows who I am.’
‘Over the years you were not with us, we were subtle and discrete over your existence, but evidently rumours did get out about you.’ Elijah explained, smiling at my wide eyes, ‘your name along with your importance to this family made you somewhat of a legend. Though, no one knew why, or even knew of anyone by the name of Evangeline, so it’s often been dismissed as a rumour.’
‘Until now.’ Nik murmured, his eyes on me and shining with concern.
‘And Aurora always was the jealous type.’ Bekah sneered.
‘I don’t care about me.’ I muttered; my only concern was with my family, ‘you’re basically invincible. If they’re coming for revenge now after all this time, that must mean they have a plan, one that they’re confident will work.’
‘We’ve faced many people over our thousand years, all of which intended to end us all, and yet we’re still here.’ Elijah murmured, smiling in assurance, ‘I assure you, this time will be no different.’
I wished I had his confidence, but I had a bad feeling about this and Nik must have sensed it because he held his hand out to me from where he was sat on the armchair. I shifted Bekah’s legs off me and moved to sit on his lap. His scent soothed my nerves like a balm—I’d always be grateful for how safe Nik’s arms made me feel. Especially in that moment because the absence of anxiety allowed me to think clearly and I had a plan.
 //
Nik: They’re here. Aurora left a body surrounded by lavender and a scavenger hunt for me to follow.
Kol: Tristan has made himself known; he’s already got the strix out looking for vampires descended from Elijah.
Elijah: The witches are preforming the spell now.
Me: Lucien has just walked into Rousseau’s.
Bekah: This is an insane plan; I just want that on the record.
Nik: Now is not the time. Focus.
Me: If anything bad happens, I just want you to know I love you all.
I slid my phone into the back pocket of my high-waisted jeans, subtly watching Lucien from where I sat at the bar, while Bekah was blending in with the crowd thanks to a glamour spell a witch had placed on her. My hair was down and wavy, cutting off at the bottom of my spine and offering me some comfort as it covered up the most of my back. The crop top had been Bekah’s idea, it was white, lacy and entirely too revealing but I was looking to gain the attention of Lucien.
A small smile formed on my lips as I noticed a family of tourists sitting by the window, a mother and father sat across from their twin daughters. They were all laughing and talking, enjoying their meal together. I felt a small wave of homesickness wash over me in that moment. I hadn’t seen my family in almost a year—not since I’d told them the truth about everything. We were still in touch, but I hadn’t seen them in the flesh for ten months, and I realised in that moment that I missed them. It wasn’t as bad as it could be, as I was already surrounded by family, but I found myself wondering if Elena, Jeremy and Jenna would be up for a weekend visit. Though it would be difficult to organise now; Elena was coming up to the end of senior year, Jeremy near the end of Junior, and Jenna was in the middle of writing her thesis. Though I’d heard from Elena that she was thinking of moving back to Denver after Jeremy was done with school. As the youngest Gilbert had already mentioned his desire to travel after he graduated, and with Elena potentially going to collage, Jenna would be in Mystic Falls all by herself. It wouldn’t be the same not having Jenna back home, but I understood her desire to move away being as the life she had before our parents died was in Denver.
‘Hello there darling.’ An arrogant sounding voice snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked to my right to see just the man I was looking for, now occupying the empty seat beside me.
‘Hello.’ I forced a smile and hoped the disgust didn’t show on my face. He was sitting far too close and his scent was overwhelming me. He smelled like he’d bathed in cologne and whiskey, it was so bad that I had to make due with breathing through my mouth. A pang of longing to be encased in my Hybrid’s scent overwhelmed me, but I forced myself to focus.
‘Now what’s a pretty thing like you doing in a place like this?’ He smirked, his breath fanning over my face. If I were still capable of vomiting, I would have in that moment.
‘You’ll have to be more specific. In this bar or in this city?’ I was being evasive, but I couldn’t help it.
‘This city, of course.’ He said, taking a sip of the drink in his hand.
‘I like it here.’ I shrugged, downing the shot of tequila Cami placed in front of me. Apparently seeming uninterested was a sure way to garner his attention, which was exactly what was needed. I leaned forward over the bar to grab the bottle of liquor that Cami had purposefully left within reach.
‘I’m starting to as well’ I rolled my eyes when I realised he was checking out my ass and when I fell back into my seat his eyes trailed over my chest. I fought the urge to cross my arms to try and cover up as I poured myself another shot.
‘How would you feel about coming back to my place later?’ he asked, his fingers trailing up and down my arm. I assume he mistook my shiver of disgust as pleasure, because his hand moved to my back, trailing up and down my spine and lightly tugging my hair.
Quick as a flash I held his wrist in mine, before he could react I snapped it like a twig, ‘I think I’d rather set myself on fire.’
‘You’re feisty I like that.’ He bit out as he reset his wrist with a click.
‘I’m leaving now.’ I huffed placing a hundred on the bar to cover my drinks and tip.
I shot Bekah a reassuring look before I left. I didn’t have to turn around to know he was following me; his pungent scent assured me he was.
It shouldn’t have been so simple, but it was. I led him into a trap; witches bought him to his knees while I turned and snapped his neck. After that, he was trapped in a basement with chains and boundary spells, where he would be bled out until the vervain was out of his system. Which shouldn’t take long for how fast the selected vampires were working on him. One down. Two to go.
 //
‘Nik?’ I called out as I entered the compound—he should have been back by now and I’ll admit the fact he wasn’t had me feeling both worried and insecure.
I was about to call him when the scent hit my nose—blood. Most importantly Nik’s blood. I followed it to his art studio—he was in the centre of the room a circle of salt hinting at the boundary spell that was around him. He was shirtless and the dried blood on his torso hinted at how much he had lost. Despite the overwhelming urge to go to him, I forced myself to focus, someone had obviously done this to him, but where were they? I didn’t have to look far. She had her back to me, which hinted at her arrogance—she clearly didn’t perceive me to be a threat. She was staring at one of the portraits Nik had painted of me and hung along the back wall. Her fingers were pressed against the canvas gently at first, and in the blink of an eye her fingers tore through with such force she created a hole in the brickwork. That was when she turned to face me. Her eyes is what stood out to me at first, they were a striking green, seeming to shine brighter due to the red curly hair that draped around her shoulders and down her back. She was dressed in a short and low cut black dress; clearly she’d been intending to impress my Hybrid.
‘Aurora I presume.’ I said, unable to keep the venom from my voice.
‘You’ve heard of me?’ she seemed to preen with the knowledge.
‘Yes, when Nik was recounting his psychotic exes you were the first name out of his mouth.’ I smiled, inwardly cheering when her expression transformed into fury.
‘I cannot understand what he possibly sees in you.’ She sneered, walking around me like a shark circling its prey.
‘That makes two of us,’ I shrugged.
‘I’ll admit I’m disappointed. I expected more fire.’ She said, coming to stand in front of me again, and that was when she revealed a stake, ‘white oak seems a waste on you, but it’ll kill you just the same and to be honest, I rather enjoy the poetry of Nik waking up to see you dead beside him. The pathetic abomination will be so overcome with grief that he’ll be powerless to falling into my awaiting arms. As soon as that happens, I’ll be able to easily convince him to dagger his other pathetic siblings and we’ll live happily ever after as King and Queen of New Orleans.’
My eyes flashed and before she could comprehend it, the stake clattered to the floor as the snap her wrist made when I twisted it behind her back echoed throughout the room.
‘How dare you.’ I growled, unbelievably enraged, picking the stake myself and plunging it into her stomach. She fell to her knees with a cry of pain, her hands moving to the wound when I yanked the wood out.
‘How dare you come into this city and threaten my family. How dare you call my Hybrid an abomination? The way I see it, the only abominable creature in this room is you, you psychotic, ignorant, pretentious bitch.’ I snarled, too far-gone in my fury to notice my Hybrid stirring behind me.
‘This isn’t your family.’ She protested, albeit a little weekly as I drove the stake through her chest, a mere inch from her heart.
‘Yes it is. I love each and every one of the Mikaelson’s, and I’d be damned if I let you threaten one of them, but all of them, including the man I love more than anything? Well you just signed your death certificate.’ With that, my hand punctured her chest cavity, clenching around her heart and tearing it out. I watched with relief and satisfaction as her corpse turned grey, before dropping the organ to the ground.
I pulled my phone out of my back pocket to send a text to the group chat; pleased to see everyone else had achieved their goals without a hitch.
Me: Need a witch back at the compound. Aurora has Nik trapped with a boundary spell.
 Elijah: Will bring Sophie now.
Me: Thanks, Lijah. Glad everyone else is okay.
Elijah had been with the witches to lure those of his sire line and trap them. Those who already resided in the quarter had been given a remedy that granted them immunity while the spell was being cast. When the strix arrived they would be given the chance to leave Tristan’s leadership or risk death. Tristan himself was trapped much like Lucien in a separate space secured with chains and witchcraft, which is where he would remain until the vervain had been drained and his plan had been compelled out of him. Either way, after that was discovered they would both be dead. The same had been planned for Aurora… before I’d gone AWOL.
‘Evangeline.’ I jumped a mile at the sound of his voice, having not heard him come around. When I faced him I was surprised by the intense expression on his face.
‘Are you okay?’ I asked, my fingers pressing against the boundary in vein as I tried to reach him.
‘I’m fine. A little hungry, but otherwise I’ll live. I managed to secure the location of the white oak from her mind before she incapacitated me.’ He smiled softly, ‘I already sent the location to Kol, I’m sure he’s taken care of it by now.’
‘Then why do you look so… astounded?’ I wondered.
‘Because watching you defend our family, and defend me has got to have been one of the most erotic things I’ve ever seen.’ He told me honestly.
I blinked in surprise before letting out a laugh, him joining me. Though I knew he was being sincere due to the lust in his eyes, which seemed to grow as his eyes roamed over my outfit.
‘I’ll take it your part of the plan was successful?’ he wondered.
‘Yes, though I feel like I need to scrub every inch of my body. Lucien is a pig.’ I informed him honestly. There were no secrets between us.
‘What did he do?’ Nik growled, his eyes flashing protectively.
‘He touched my arm and back, pulled on my hair and leaned way too close. Not terrible when you say it aloud but he made me feel really uncomfortable. But it doesn’t matter now.’ I waved it off, ‘once he’s had the vervain drained from his system and whatever plan they had in place is revealed he’s dead. At the rate they were draining him, I can’t imagine it would take long.’
This seemed to soothe him somewhat, but I could see him itching to hold me, his wolf needing to make sure I was indeed okay. Thankfully in that moment, Elijah walked through the door, Sophie following closely behind him. The elder Mikaelson raised a brow at the dead De Martial on the floor in confusion, looking over and pursing his lips in amusement when I hid my bloodied hand and the stake behind my back.
‘I don’t remember killing her being a part of the plan,’ Elijah commented as Sophie got to work.
‘I know. My temper might have gotten the best of me.’ I winced like a child about to be reprimanded by their parents.
‘She defended us brother. Aurora intended to kill her and use my grief to manipulate me to dagger you all and allow her to rule beside me.’ Nik explained, amused by my timid behaviour.
‘I couldn’t help it. I’m protective of my family, and of Nik, she threatened all of that.’ I pursed my lips, glancing down to her body, ‘she was one crazy bitch.’
Nik laughed loudly and the sound bought a smile to my lips, relieved that at least he wasn’t pissed at me for messing with the plan. A glance at Elijah and the amusement on his expression assured me he wasn’t all that mad either. I felt the tension in my shoulders ease.
‘She had white oak though,’ I revealed the stake and handed it to the older Original, ‘Nik sent Kol to collect the rest.’
Elijah nodded, some tension easing from his expression. In that moment Kol entered the room, grinning so widely I was surprised when his face didn’t split in half.
‘The white oak is gone. Apparently they gathered it from the wood made to construct a bridge and sign in Mystic Falls. Ironic, but alas I has all burned to ash.’ He said, practically bouncing with happiness at his success.
‘Excellent. Well done brother.’ Nik said, his expression conveying the sincerity behind his words. Kol’s expression softened under Nik’s praise and I couldn’t help but smile at the strong bonds they all now shared—My Hybrid had told me of Kol’s feeling of being left out of the family and so moments like this reminded me of how much they’d all overcome.
Kol nodded, a soft smile aimed at his older brother before he accepted a hug from Elijah and then me. When I pulled away, he frowned at the dried blood on my hand and forearm.
‘Don’t ask.’ I said before he could inquire.
Kol looked over to Nik who grinned and nodded in answer to his silent question: he would tell him later.
‘It’s all done.’ Sophie announced, but before she could even get up from the floor I found myself surrounded by Nik’s warmth and his scent.
All of the tension eased of my body, and I felt Nik relax too as his face nuzzled into my neck and took in my scent, now assured that I was in fact okay.
‘You two are too cute.’ Bekah commented, I noted that she had her own voice back, which meant the glamour had been removed, but I didn’t lift my head to look.
I hummed in contentment as Nik’s hand moved back and forth at the bottom of my spine, while his other hand rested at the centre of my back, his thumb moving back and forth comfortingly. The warmth his arms and hands emitted would never fail to make me feel safe and home. One of my hands were moving through the curls on his head, while the other rested against his chest, playing with the collection of necklaces that laid there. I was so contented and relaxed that I almost forgot where we were and what had happened when—
‘Why is Aurora dead?’ Bekah asked.
Nik laughed and I hid my face in his chest, embarrassed and already aware that I would never live this down.
 //
Back to Five years after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
‘Come on, Kol!’ Bekah complained from one of the love seats—Nik and I occupied the other.
‘It’s my choice, Bekah. You think I wanted to watch that god-awful romance movie you picked last month? No. But did I complain?’ his question was intended to be rhetorical but I answered anyway.
‘Excessively.’ I deadpanned, chuckling with the others.
‘Well—I didn’t complain as much as I wanted to.’ He said, as if that were a solid argument. I rolled my eyes and settled further into Nik’s side, my head resting on his chest. His arm was wrapped around me and he was tracing random patterns on my arm. I sighed in contentment, knowing that if he kept that up with how warm and relaxed I was, I wouldn’t see ten minutes of this movie.
‘Then Bekah can complain just shy of how much she wants to, and you’ll have to take it.’ Marcel pointed out, laughing at Kol’s affronted expression.
‘Can we just get this over with? The sooner it’s on, the sooner it can be over.’ Elena mumbled, a blanket wrapped around her, that and her husband’s arms around her providing her with protection from the zombies that Kol was subjecting us to. She was sat on the far end of the couch, Stefan to her right, Kol to his right and Damon on the other side of him. Bekah and Marcel were sat on the armchair; the female Mikaelson basically sat on her husband’s lap.
‘Come on, you’re a vampire. If zombies were running around in this world, they’d be no match for any of us.’ Damon smirked smugly from his seat next to Kol.
‘You don’t know that. What if a zombie bite affected us? If we also became zombie’s I’d hate to spend an eternity like that.’ Elena argued, pointing to the zombie that was now on the screen.
Instead of arguing, Damon shushed her, reaching for a handful of popcorn where the ridiculously huge bowl rested on Kol’s lap. I busied myself with the chocolate Eminem’s I’d commandeered, occasionally feeding some to Nik as I munched away.
I reached over to the arm of the chair for one of the blood bags we’d bought over to sustain us through the movie. I opened the cap and drank a few sips before offering some to my Hybrid, when he was finished I recapped it and placed it back where I’d grabbed it. I sighed softly, not interested in the movie in the slightest. But I knew this was the whole point of movie night, it wasn’t simply to watch; it was an opportunity to spend time together. Glancing around I noticed that Bekah and Nik were also unimpressed, Elena was terrified, while Kol, Damon, Marcel were overly amused by what passed as a horror movie.
I shifted in Nik’s arms so my head now rested on his shoulder, I faced his neck, not bothering any further with the terrible acting on the screen and started to play with the collection of necklaces around his throat. A small smile always formed on my face when my fingers connected with the only metallic one he wore—the locket I’d given him all those centuries ago. He’d tried to return it to me, but I insisted he wore it, liking that a part of me was always with him on the rare occasions I couldn’t be. In return he’d gifted me with his necklace that bore the Mikaelson crest. It had originally hung from a leather cord but he’d had it transferred to a silver chain and I wore it around my neck, happy to have something that reminded me of him for always.
‘Bored there my love?’ He murmured, to quiet to be heard by anyone else over the T.V.
‘While I’m in your arms? Never.’ I grinned as his chuckle, placing a kiss to his pulse point.
‘Do you ever think about getting married?’ Nik asked and I blinked at the question.
I leaned up, my hands resting against his face so I could take in his expression. He looked curious, yet slightly nervous.
‘I used to all the time when I was human. Had my perfect wedding all planned out. But it was something I gave up on when I became a vampire.’ I told him honestly.
‘Why?’ he wondered, reaching up to brush some hair behind my ear.
‘Because I couldn’t imagine anyone wanting to spend an eternity with me. I could barely imagine sixty years, but forever? It just seemed impossible.’ I murmured.
‘What about now?’ he seemed tentative, which was rare for him and I couldn’t help but instinctively move a hand to his hair, knowing that it soothed him.
‘Is that your way of proposing?’ I teased, trying to ease his nerves.
He grinned, leaning up and pecking my lips before falling back to the love seat, ‘I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.’
The sincerity in his expression caught me off guard, but my surprise quickly faded to delight, ‘really?’
He nodded, relieved by my excitement, ‘I even have a ring. I was planning on a romantic dinner with just the two of us, ending with me asking you.’
‘That sounds like quite the proposal.’ I commented, my hand gently moving back and forth against his jaw, ‘why mention it now?’
‘My love, patience has never been my strength. I’ve waited so long to have you back in my arms and I can’t keep putting off making you mine because I’m waiting for a perfect moment. Every moment with you is more perfect than I ever could have imagined, and certainly more perfect than I deserve. I love you Evangeline, with everything that I am. Spend an eternity with me. Marry me.’ He said, softly wiping away the tears that had fallen down my cheeks.
‘Okay,’ I was sure my tears didn’t dampen the pure happiness that I could feel radiating from my face. Nik captured my lips, kissing me with a softness and tenderness that made my heart flutter in my chest.
‘I love you.’ I told him, my voice barely above a whisper, but his soft smile assured me that he’d heard me.
‘I love you too.’ He replied as I settled against his chest again.
I drifted off to sleep there, surrounded by our oblivious family and in the arms of the man I loved.
 //
Five years and six months after Evangeline returned from the 15th century.
‘You look beautiful.’ Jenna said, dabbing away the tears in her eyes with a tissue.
I smiled at her from where I was sat, getting my hair curled by one of the professionals Bekah had hired for all of us.
‘Thank you Aunt Jenna.’ I winked.
‘If you’re this emotional now, you’re gonna be done for when she puts on the dress.’ Elena teased, winding an arm around Jenna’s waist.
They had all gotten ready before me so they (mainly Bekah) could assure everything else was going to plan everywhere else. The female Mikaelson was currently checking on the boys and making sure they were finished, honestly I was so grateful for her. If it hadn’t been for her input, I doubt we could’ve pulled off the wedding I’d been dreaming of since I was a little girl.
‘I know, I just keep thinking about your Mom and Dad and how proud they would be right now.’ She said, barely squeezing out her words before the tears started streaming again.
‘They are here, Jenna. Maybe not in body but definitely in spirit.’ Elena assured both our aunt and I. I offered her a grateful smile, my eyes flicking over to my bouquet of red and white roses I would be holding while walking down the isle—my mom and dad’s favourite flowers. It had been Nik’s idea and I’d loved it.
‘You’re right.’ Our emotional aunt nodded, seeming to steel herself as she dabbed her eyes one last time before securing her tissue in her bra. Elena and I shared an amused glance.
‘You both look beautiful by the way.’ I complimented them.
I had chosen Elena as my maid of honour, with Bekah and Jenna being bridesmaids. Each wore a deep purple A-line styled dress made of chiffon material. This colour matched the ties of the groomsman, aside from Nik’s—his would be white. The dress cut off just below the knee, revealing the black platform shoes each of them wore. I had encouraged them to choose how they wanted to wear their own hair and was surprised when they’d all agreed on one hairstyle for them all. Their hair had been curled, with the front being pinned back to the backs of their heads with a jewelled clip that matched the deep purple of their dresses. They looked stunning.
‘Not as beautiful as you’re going to look.’ Bekah commented as she re-entered the room, looking moderately relieved.
 ‘What’s up?’ Lena asked.
‘Nik’s pacing a hole in the floor from his room. It amazes me how quickly his paranoia grows the longer he’s separated from you.’ She shook her head in amazement, moving over to the mirror to unzip my dress.
‘Well maybe it wouldn’t be so bad if someone hadn’t made us sleep apart last night.’ I muttered, already reaching for my phone.
‘It’s bad luck to see the groom before the wedding!’ Bekah protested, frowning when she saw me walking towards the bathroom, ‘what are you doing? You need to put your dress on, the ceremony starts in ten minutes!’
‘I’ll be two, I promise.’ I smiled reassuringly and closed the door behind me, finding Nik’s contact and clicking it before bringing it to my ear.
It rung once before he answered, ‘Evangeline.’ He murmured; his voice already sounding a little more relaxed.
‘Hello my gorgeous Hybrid and soon to be husband.’ I answered brightly, smiling at the sound of his chuckle, ‘what’s this I hear about you being paranoid?’
‘It’s nothing, my love. Just my self depreciating voice rearing it’s ugly head and telling me that I don’t deserve you.’ He said, his voice more sombre now.
‘Nik, you are the strongest, sweetest, smartest, funniest, sexiest and most talented man I’ve ever known. So you tell that voice inside your head to shove it because you’re an amazing man and I promise to keep reminding you of that fact for eternity.’
‘Thank you, my love. You always know what to say,’ he said, his voice soft.
‘You’re welcome, we all need reassurance sometimes, and that’s nothing to be ashamed of.’ My voice was as gentle as his.
‘I can’t wait to marry you.’ I could sense his smile on the other side of the phone.
‘Right back at you my Hybrid.’ I grinned, ‘speaking of I should put my dress on before Bekah has an aneurism. I’ll see you soon.’
 ‘That you will, my love.’
I hung up the phone and exited the bathroom, handing my phone to Jenna while Bekah and Elena helped me step into my dress. I had surprised everyone with my determination to choose my own wedding attire, which was fair seeing as any other clothing trip ended with me leaving it to Bekah. But I’d had a very specific dress in mind for my wedding day and I was overjoyed with the end result. It was a ball gown dress with a three-foot train; the bodice had a lace overlay that extended on sheer material to my arms. There were hundreds of diamonds scattered all over that twinkled when they caught the light just right. The veil that was clipped into my hair was also decorated with lace and hung all the way down to the floor. I was wearing my Mikaelson necklace, which I’d been sure to pull from underneath my dress, displaying the crest proudly where it rested on my chest. My hair was curled; the front pinned back similarly to the girls’ but mine was secured with the clip of my veil. My made up was natural; my lips painted with a deep red lip stain that matched the roses I’d be carrying perfectly.
‘You look radiant.’ Bekah said, tears forming in her own eyes.
‘Don’t, you’re gonna make me cry.’ I warned.
‘We can’t have that, you’ll ruin your make up and you look perfect.’ Elena nudged Bekah playfully.
A knock on the door broke us out of our conversation; Elena answered the door to reveal Elijah. His expression became soft when he saw me, his own eyes glassing over as emotion overcame him.
‘Sister, you look… wonderful.’ He murmured.
I hugged him, ‘thank you Lijah.’
‘Well, it’s time.’ Bekah announced, shooing the other bridesmaids out of the room, ‘remember walk down the isle when you hear the wedding march.’
‘We know Bekah.’ I chuckled, my arm linking through Elijah’s as we followed them.
I had asked him to walk me down the isle because I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing it. Elijah had become the best big brother I could have ever hoped for, and it seemed wrong to be given away by anyone else. Of course, Nik had also asked him to be best man, so after he’d delivered me to the end of the isle, he would take his place in between Nik and Kol. I took a deep breath as we reached the entrance to the ballroom; we were getting married at a house Nik had built in Mystic Falls long before I had even been born. He wanted to have a house where we could live when I wanted to visit my home, and a place that he could stay in to reminisce about the village he’d lived in when he was human. He’d built this house on top of the same place he’d resided all those years ago. When he’d told me that, it seemed to be the perfect location; the town where I’d grown up, where my parents were born and buried, and the village he’d spent time with his family before they’d become vampires. It held a lot of nostalgia and meaning for the both of us, and I knew then that this is where we could become husband and wife.
‘Are you ready, sister?’ Elijah murmured, turning to me as the march started.
I nodded, unable to keep the smile off my face as I followed Elijah’s lead down the isle. I’ve never felt more love and happiness than I did in that moment, surrounded by those I loved, and the man I loved more than anything. Those invited had been kept to a bare minimum. Nik had most of his friends as groomsmen: Marcel, Stefan, Kol and Elijah were all stood up there with him, while on my side stood Jenna, Bekah and Elena. Other than that, Damon, Jeremy, April (he’d asked to bring her as his guest), Sophie, Josh, Cami, Finn and Freya all sat in white wooden chairs as the audience.
Freya had been a surprise to the Mikaelson’s not long after Nik had proposed. She’d popped up explaining that their aunt Dahlia had kidnapped her and cursed to spend a hundred years sleeping to every year of life. That had been a close fight that involved another time travel spell for Esther’s blood and a few other ingredients, but we defeated her and Freya was free and connecting with the family she’d yearned to know for centuries. Finn was a different story. He’d been undaggered after Nik had tracked down Sage, who’d been his long lost love nine centuries ago. After their reunion, they’d departed and we hadn’t heard a word from him until Freya popped up and he came to the compound to visit her. Even during those visits he’d only really spoken to his eldest sister. Still, we’d extended a wedding invitation to him seeing as he was technically family. But I’ll admit I was stunned by his attendance; I suspected Freya had something to do with it. Though I was unsurprised that Sage hadn’t come; her and Nik had apparently never gotten along.
After my eyes had quickly glanced over those present they fell and remained on the most important one of all. My Hybrid was positively beaming with happiness, the same kind that I was sure he could see on my face. The kind of elation that you felt at the prospect of marrying your best friend, your confidant, your lover… your person. His gorgeous blue eyes were glassed over as he fought to hold back his tears, I want as strong however, my tears having long fallen onto my cheeks. Bekah would have a fit, but I didn’t care. Elijah took my hand and placed it in Nik’s and just like that, I was home. My fingers entwined with his as we faced the man we’d chosen to officiate our marriage.
‘We are gathered here today to join this man and this woman in matrimony.’ I couldn’t help but tune out what he was saying, too lost in Nik’s eyes to worry about anything else.
‘I believe you have written your own vows?’ I startled at the question, and nodded.
‘Nik, before I met you, I had given up on the idea of marriage, of finding someone to spend the rest of my life with. When I was human, it seemed plausible, as sixty years doesn’t seem as daunting as an eternity. But suddenly faced with the prospect of forever, I couldn’t imagine finding anyone who would love me enough to want to be tied with me for eternity. Then I met you. We might have first gotten of on the wrong foot,’ we all shared a chuckle at that, ‘but I fell in love with you so fast that it scared me. I’d never felt so much so fast before, but before I could get too lost in my own insecurities, you told me that you loved me too. Not with words at first, but in the way you protected me, the way that you touched me and the way that you looked at me. From that moment all those years ago, I couldn’t picture a future without you in it, and now I can’t wait to spend eternity with you as your wife.’ I gently wiped away the tears that had fallen onto his cheeks before grasping his hands in mine again.
‘Evangeline, I’ve been on this earth for a long time, and for a majority of it I was a man I’m not proud of. As a human, I was berated and beaten for no reason other than my father’s unexplainable hatred of me. When I became a vampire and my werewolf side was revealed, I was more of an outsider then I had ever been. I learned to be ashamed of who I was, because that is what my mother inadvertently told me when she cursed my werewolf side into dormancy. This created a man whose insecurity and fear manifested itself as anger and aggression. I believed I didn’t deserve to be loved by anyone. I became a monster, pushing away those closest to me until I believed they hated me too. I belittled anyone who showed emotion, when deep down I envied them for being brave enough to love, to adore, to laugh, and to be happy. I spent centuries taking the fate of my sibling’s into my own hands, because while I knew they hated me, I loved them and I couldn’t tamper my protective instincts when it came to their safety. They perceived it was out of spite or superiority and I let them believe it because it was easier to accept their hate than their love. But then I met you. You came into my life and within two minutes you’d already, albeit unwillingly, revealed your plans to kill me.’ I chuckled with him, my tears falling steadily down my face, ‘but despite the obvious threat, I couldn’t bring myself to hurt you. When you offered a plan to help me I was grateful that it meant I didn’t have to come up with an excuse myself. Your light, your kindness to a man who you only knew to cause you pain drew me in. You bought out my humanity without effort and I found myself overcome with my love for you, with my protectiveness and adoration. You accepted me for who I was, you made accepting your love and returning it effortless. You made me realise that I deserved to be loved.’ He took a breath, gently wiping the tears from my cheeks and smiling when I leaned into his touch. ‘I vow that for the rest of eternity, you will never doubt how much I love you, Evangeline.’
My hands squeezed his gently as we shared a smile.
 ‘The rings?’ The officiate asked.
I turned and took Nik’s ring from Elena, while Nik retrieved mine from Elijah.
After we exchanged ‘I do’s,’ Nik pulled me in for a passionate kiss and just like that, we were married. The idea of an eternity with one person may have scared me once. But that was before Nik. That was before I’d met the one person in the world who seemed to understand me better than I understood myself. He was my rock, my Hybrid, and as long as he was by my side the prospect of forever was anything but daunting.

Chapter Summary: Davina and Klaus each force Maleny to finally decide which side she's in during their war. Unfortunately, Maleny hasn't figured out a way to make both sides attainable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Maleny paced back and forth inside her room while having a heated conversation with someone over the phone, "No, Isabelle, it's fine, honest. Well - Isabelle, please-"
"Mal?" Hayley knocked on the open door, concerned with the blonde's expressions.
Maleny motioned to be given a minute so she could handle the phone conversation, "Isabelle, I don't need help here. And no, please don't send her either - Amarrah said she would be going back to the police station anyways. I'm fine, please. Bye."
Hayley arched her eyebrows and crossed her arms, though having heard everything on the other line she still remained confused, "Who exactly was that? She sounded French."
"She is," Maleny sighed, tossing her phone on the bed, "and she's beyond worried."
"Wait," Hayley came into the room, "is she part of that family-"
"The Collins," Maleny clarified.
"They're the family that took care of your original body all these centuries?" Hayley asked, receiving a confirming nod from Maleny, "What's going on?"
"Isabelle - she's worried about my condition here," Maleny shrugged, "She's so worried she wants to send in her daughter to 'look after me'. As if I didn't already have enough babysitters."
Hayley knew Maleny was mostly overwhelmed with all the problems they had, so this small new thing was like the tip of the iceberg for the poor blonde. She walked up to Maleny, "Listen, maybe you should go take some air. I can go with you if you'd like," she knew under no circumstances was Maleny supposed to go out on her own. Despite the tensed air in the house, that was still rule number one (behind Maleny's back of course).
Maleny silently walked over to her bed, sitting on its side and leaning towards the nightstand to open its drawer. Hayley watched her pull out her old journal in which she wrote every detail she could remember from her past lives. Maleny skimmed a couple pages before growling in frustration and glancing back at Hayley.
"I can't look at this anymore," she said, almost to tears suddenly, "I need to get rid of it."
"Those are your lives, Mal," Hayley softly reminded, but received a harsh scoff in return.
"And yet, it may not matter anymore. I can return to my cycle at any moment. What does it matter if I tear these memories to shreds? They're just constant reminders of what I may be going into again."
"So...what do you want to do, then?" Hayley curiously asked.
Maleny stared long and hard at her journal before deciding, "I want to burn it."
"O-okay..." Hayley looked around, unsure of the idea.
"I mean it," Maleny rose from her spot, turning to the hybrid, "Can you...can you go downstairs for me? We can make a little fire in the kitchen."
"But Mal-"
"Hayley, please?"
With a sigh, Hayley agreed and left the room. Maleny waited a minute after Hayley left to grab her phone and journal and stuffed inside her bag. She snatched her jacket from her dresser and hurried out her room. As she went down the stairs she looked all around the place as she made her escape out the compound.
By the time Hayley returned to Maleny's room, the blonde was long gone. Hayley called out for her friend, going to different rooms hoping to see her somewhere. Eventually, defeated, she came into Klaus' art room where he was currently working on an artwork.
"Klaus, we have a problem," Hayley released a big breath, wondering how he would take it. However, something completely different came out instead.
"Maleny has escaped," Klaus casually said, raising a jar of blue paint to inspect its color shade. Hayley blinked just as he glanced at her, "You're about fifteen minutes late."
"How did you...?" Hayley made a confused face.
"Simply because we're not speaking to each other doesn't mean I stop keeping an eye on her," Klaus put back the jar on the table and left his work to walk up to Hayley, "Speedy steps coming from the staircase can only mean someone was in a hurry to leave - Maleny, clearly. Had it been you or Elijah you would've sped out."
"Why didn't you stop her, then?" Hayley scowled, "You make it a big deal she shouldn't go out and yet you let her run out without protection?"
"Now who said I was going to let her go without protection?" Klaus challenged, walking around the woman into the hallway. Hayley turned and went after him, "I was giving Maleny some time to head off before I went after her. I can't exactly go right behind her, could I?"
Hayley stopped by the stairs while he went down, "So...you're gonna be with her today, then?"
"From a distance, yes."
"Why not beside her? That would be safer for her wouldn't it?"
Klaus stopped at the bottom and looked up, earnestly replying, "Because she clearly does not want me beside her. I thought it was apparent by our current situation."
Hayley rolled her eyes, leaning her arms on the banister, "Your current 'situation' is beyond stupid. Instead of acting like children sit the hell down and have a proper conversation," and before Klaus could make an irritated response, Hayley added one last suggestion, "And like last time: avoid shouting. It does wonders sometimes."
Klaus didn't have anything to come back with anymore. Throwing her a glare, he went out in pursuit of Maleny.

Cami anxiously watched her new friend Gia stand against a wall with her eyes shut as another vampire stepped forwards and flung a dart with all his might. Without opening her eyes, Gia caught the dart just several inches from her nose. She laughed and opened her eyes, triumphantly waving the dart.
"Pay up!" she wiggled her fingers at the vampire who'd thrown the dart. As she was being paid, she high-fived Cami on the side.
"Told you you would learn," Cami smirked as Gia now waved the $100 bill between them.
"We just made $50 bucks each," Gia laughed and soon Cami joined in.
It had been quite the relaxing time for Cami as she spent time away from the Quarter, at the Algiers. While Marcel had been initially concerned with Cami's move, he allowed her to stay in his loft, but sometimes she would stay at Gia's place. It'd only been about two weeks but Cami had never felt so close to her human days like she did now. Yes, they were all vampires and they did vampire things together but it was different now. She had started her college studies again, and was promised she would definitely graduate. She'd made a good friend in Gia and together had fun - along with the other vampires.
But unfortunately, all good things must come to an end.
The party stopped when a vampire's corpse was flung through one of the loft's windows. As the group got closer to see who it was, they realized it was one of theirs. It appeared to have been a werewolf attack judging by half the throat of the corpse lying out. Seconds later, the loft was filled with Esther's werewolves.
Furious, Gia stalked up to the leader, a young man named Aiden, "The hell is wrong with you people? We didn't do anything!"
Aiden stared at her with an unimpressed look, "This is nothing your kind hasn't done to us. Learn your history."
Cami silently came forwards to pull Gia back while Marcel went towards them as well, "I don't know who the hell you are, but we had a deal. Vampires stay out of the Quarter? Everybody's cool."
"That's not good enough anymore."
"Yeah?" Cami raised an eyebrow, "Says who? Your leash holder, Esther? You know, I've only been a vampire for a couple of months but I know how werewolves work. You were independent creatures, loyal to each other...must have missed the part where you went rogue for some stupid rings."
Aiden smirked and nodded to one of his werewolf friends. One of them snatched a vampire by the neck and bit him. A second one went for Davina's friend, Josh, to do the same when Aiden called.
"That's enough!" Aiden looked at Marcel, knowing he was the leader, "Your privileges here have been revoked. Permanently. So, when we come back, you need to be gone. Because next time? I won't call them off. Consider this a warning, Marcel. It's the only one you're gonna get."
With that, the werewolves began leaving. Gia turned to Cami with an expectant look and pulled her to the side of the room, "Now would be a really good time for you to call your cousin…or your boyfriend."
By now Cami knew Gia's teases very well and air strangled her, "He's not my-" Gia broke into a light laughter, "-I hate you," the blonde said seconds afterwards.
Gia sobered up and became serious, "But seriously, I think a call is in order here. Call one of them, please?"
Cami gave a deep sigh as she looked around, seeing how the other vampires were frantically discussing with Marcel about the plans. She didn't want to see any of them run, no one should. No one should have to.

Maleny was quietly sitting at a park bench, passing a couple pages in her journal...and ripping them out one by one. She would have much rather preferred the fire but she would take a peaceful day out on her own (or so she thought anyways) than being stuck in that lonesome compound. Suddenly, from the corner of her eye, she saw someone taking a seat beside her.
"I know who you are," she said without looking up, "Finn," she then turned her head at the man inhabited by Finn Mikaelson. The dark-skinned man with chocolate brown eyes gave her a crooked smirk reminding her of Klaus. She quickly shook her head and returned her attention to her journal.
Finn lightly smiled and leaned back on the bench, "I must say, it's actually very good to see you, Maleny. What's it been? A thousand years?"
"Hmm, that's the most amusing thing you've said to me in a thousand years," Maleny muttered as she passed a different page and ripped the previous one out.
"I know you and I didn't always get along but we were family, weren't we?"
Maleny scoffed and looked up from her journal, "Sometimes," she gave him that, "but other times you were just plain mean to me."
Seeing her fruit fall to the ground and roll away in separate directions, Maleny groaned. She put down the basket she'd been carrying to go retrieve the fruit she'd lost. She brought back most of it eventually, and thankfully no one in the village took note of it, but when she went to pick up an apple, someone else did it.
"I think I might keep this one," Finn flashed her a wide smile.
"You will not," Maleny declared sternly and reached for the apple but he held it up high. Due to the height difference, it was impossible for Maleny to get it back. "Finn! I need that for tonight's festival. Give it back,"  Finn shrugged and walked past her, biting into the apple. Maleny turned after him, crossing her arms and glaring after him, "You're being completely childish, you know!" she called after him.
"Am I the one shouting over an apple?" Finn turned back, rolling his eyes before he gagged, "Eugh..."
Maleny narrowed her eyes suspiciously, "What is it?"
Finn spit out what he had been chewing on, "This is rotten fruit!" he promptly chucked it back to Maleny, hitting her knee.
"Ow!" the blonde yelped and jumped back in surprise, "That was not polite!"
"Next time leave the fruit gathering to those with actual eyes," Finn sarcastically pointed to his own, "Maybe they can bring in better food than you," he grumbled more things under his breath as he walked away.
Finn raised his eyebrows and suddenly chuckled, "Are you really still upset I threw you an apple?"
"It hit my leg!" Maleny exclaimed but wasn't going to argue over something like that, "I never understood you, Finn. Sometimes you were actually a good guy, but other times it's like you were prone to be this evil brother. What side am I getting from you today, hm? What do you want?"
"You know my mother wants to you come to the Lycee with me," Finn began but Maleny scoffed and interrupted him.
"She can keep dreaming."
"What my mother offers you is your freedom, how is that a bad thing?" Finn shrugged, genuinely unable to understand Maleny's anger, "Listen, right now our priority lays on the white oak stake which can kill my siblings."
Maleny closed her journal and glared at Finn, "And you want to know where Davina is. Well you and I are on the same page because I don't know where she is either. No one does, okay?"
"I'm sure Elijah or Klaus have worked it out by now," Finn insisted calmly.
"I can assure you Elijah has not. As for Klaus, I wouldn't know."
Finn smirked upon detecting the extra bitterness Maleny had when speaking of Klaus, "Trouble in your deranged love story?"
Maleny scowled, "Don't you have somewhere else to be? I'm kinda busy."
"Shredding your memories, I see," Finn raised a crumpled journal paper from the bench.
Maleny snatched the paper from him, "At least I'm not killing people or forcing them to work for me like packs of mules. Tell your mother I don't know where Davina is, and even if I did know I wouldn't tell her. Also feel free to mention I don't want her help."
Finn got up from the bench, his smile vanishing, "Oh Maleny, before you know it, you will be coming for my mother's help, begging her to."
"I'd rather die," Maleny declared casually, "So buh-bye," she waved him off and smiled to herself once she was alone again. She grabbed her bag from her other side and stuffed the crumpled papers into it before taking the journal and continuing to rip out the remainder. She only stopped when she heard her cellphone ringing and upon seeing the caller ID she dropped everything to answer, "Hello!?"
"Maleny…" came Davina's nervous from the other line, "...heeeey…"
"Don't 'hey' me, young lady, what the hell are you thinking?" Maleny wasted no time in scolding, realizing at the moment she sounded more like a mother than a friend, "Reviving Mikael? Stealing the white oak stake!? Are you kidding me!?"
"I know, it's bad," Davina sighed but that didn't stop Maleny from continuing.
"N-n-n-n-n-no, no, bad is when you shoplift. This is beyond horrendous! Do you have any idea what kind of trouble you're in? You are in way over your head!"
"Mal, you can't be angry with me," Davina huffed, "After everything Klaus and Elijah have done to me, I'm pretty justified in attempting revenge."
"Look, I'm angry with all of you for your behavior, but under no circumstances do I want any of you dead," Maleny truthfully said.
Davina remained silent for a good minute before darkly saying, "I'm sorry Maleny, but you knew sooner or later this would come. You have to make a choice between the Mikaelsons and your friends. I want Klaus dead and I will do what it takes to get it done. I'm sorry."
Maleny's eyes widened in horror, "Davina, no!" but the line went dead, signaling Davina had hung up. Lowering her phone, Maleny stared at the ground as she felt a knot in her stomach form. A decision? She didn't want to make any decisions - especially ones that would mean losing a friend or family.
"So," a different voice spoke up, making Maleny shoot right up from the bench, "What's your choice?" Klaus stood behind the bench with his hands behind his back.
"You...scared me!" Maleny put a hand over her chest, "Were you listening in on the entire conversation?"
"Let's be honest, we both know the answer to that. I knew sooner or later Davina would try to contact you so all I had to do was wait," Klaus casually came around the bench and stopped mere inches from her, "But you haven't answered my question, Maleny. What's your choice? Davina...or me?"
Maleny sucked in a breath and looked to the side, "You don't speak to me for two weeks and now you're asking me this? I don't think so!"
Klaus balled one of his fists but kept himself restrained, he suspected that would be more or less her response after their two week of silent treatment. It hadn't been his intention to leave such a large gap. After their argument, and after cooling down, he attempted to give Maleny some space to review all that had been said and done, hoping she would realize her mistake and finally accept her feelings. Unfortunately for him, his "attempt of space giving" had been taken by Maleny as a rude silent treatment. She was irritated with him for being "childish" but deep down she was more hurt. After getting back to the Quarter, she wanted to see him and be alright. She didn't like it when she walked into a room and seconds later he would walk out. Their arguments in the past never lasted more than a couple of hours back in their human days.
But now they could go two weeks without directing a word to each other, or a full month...
Maleny didn't want to continue this cycle anymore. And now that she knew what would be happening - a true fight between him and Davina - she didn't want to let him out of her sight.
"Take me with you," she whispered, confusing Klaus for a minute, "I know you know where Davina is just by listening in to my phone call. I don't want her getting hurt," and before Klaus made some sort of remark about her already choosing the teen, Maleny quickly added, "And that doesn't mean I pick her! I just want to...supervise."
"Will you be able to handle sitting in a car with me?" Klaus sarcastically asked, "Or will you pile one more excuses to stay away?"
Maleny shook her head, "Of course I can handle being close to you. The real question here is will you decide to direct a word to me the entire drive? Look, I need to come, okay? Can I?"
"Fine," Klaus turned away and started walking, leaving Maleny to scramble for her things and hurry behind, "But I must warn you that if you cannot reason with Davina I will end her."
Maleny knew of course he would do that, but even then she couldn't fathom seeing Davina hurt, "I can reason with her," she announced rather sure of herself, earning a sharp look from Klaus, "I can," she added seconds later, "I know I can."
But as they walked Maleny silently admitted to herself that perhaps Davina was beyond reasoning by this point. It was true, the Mikaelsons had hurt her in many ways and on some level, her revenge was justified. But still, Maleny hoped it wouldn't come to that.

Back in Marcel's loft, Cami and Gia quietly conversed in Marcel's loft regarding the werewolf attack earlier in the day. Marcel was out gathering the rest of the vampires in the area to give them the update on their current situation.
"Marcel says we shouldn't run, but Josh is afraid," Gia was in the middle of saying as she came to take a seat on the couch across Cami, with a stolen drink from Marcel's bar, "I, on the other hand, think we need to be far smarter about it."
Cami was listening but she didn't have much to comment on the subject. She knew she didn't want run, nor let the vampires do the same. But she just wasn't experienced in all this. Since she turned, she always had, well...Elijah to take care of the trouble. Klaus had always been locked in his room brooding and sulking while Hayley took to biting witches in the bayou and whatnot, thus leaving only Elijah. And when Cami thought about who she called for help, she shamefully looked down.
"I mean, I don't know how to fight or anything but I think we can learn, no?" Gia then realized her words were practically flying over Cami's head, "Cami?" she snapped her fingers and got the blonde's attention, "Where are you?"
"Sorry," Cami straightened up on her spot, "I was just thinking."
"Right," Gia sipped her drink, "So, what do you think we'll end up doing?"
But before Cami could answer Elijah entered the room, having the perfect response, "I would hope it didn't involve running away," he said with a small smirk, "That's not what we do anymore."
Gia raised an eyebrow, "Anymore?" she'd picked up on the key word and leaned forwards, more than interested, "Who'd you run away from?"
Elijah ignored the question as he went straight for Cami, "It's nice to see you again, Camille," Cami gave a silent nod, "How long has it been again?"
"I don't know," Cami looked up, detecting a sense of smugness in his tone as if he was pleased to hear she finally needed help from him, "I've been having too much fun to notice."
Gia cleared her throat awkwardly and stood up, "Well, I'll leave you guys to discuss. Try not to kill each other," she parted with that final warning.
"Well," Elijah watched after the new vampire with a sense of surprise, "I see you two hit it off. Am I to assume she's part of the reason you refuse to come home?"
"Home?" Cami raised her eyebrow, "The compound's not my home, Elijah. It's yours."
"Are you saying you never felt welcomed with us, then?" Elijah went ahead and took Gia's seat across Cami.
"No, I did…" Cami said quietly, "...but this has nothing to do with it, okay? Besides, originally, I was pissed off at you for leaving Gia behind like that."
"The woman was not our responsibility, Cami," Elijah reiterated, and still stood by it, "Marcel turned her therefore he should train her. I wasn't going to waste time on her and I frankly can't understand why you were doing so."
"What? So I was supposed to follow you around like I always do nowadays?" Cami scoffed at the idea, "No way, no more. I know I needed a lot of help in the months before but Mal's back and it's time for me to get my own life back."
"You still need my help though," Elijah reminded with another hint of triumph, something that irritated Cami.
Cami couldn't take that and rushed to get up, "I do, honestly, every vampire on this side does, but I won't take it if you'll continue to be so smug about it like you were just waiting for me to come asking for help. We can find help somewhere else," she turned to leave but Elijah quickly grabbed her arm and stopped her.
"I'm sorry," Elijah sighed and slowly Cami turned back, expecting more than just those two words, "I want to help, honest. Why don't you tell me exactly what happened?" he motioned for Cami to take a seat beside him.
Silently, Cami walked to the couch and plopped down, "Okay," she sighed and began to recount the werewolves' threat earlier in the day.

Deep in the bayou, Maleny was trudging back and forth holding her cellphone up in hopes of getting more service. She'd managed to slip a text to Davina warning she and Klaus were on their way but Maleny wanted to get at least another phone call in.
"Is this seriously why you made me stop the car?" Klaus called from a higher ground, the road ground actually. Maleny had found a small lake just down a small hill - she thought it was the best place to sneak away from supernatural hearing. Apparently, she was wrong.
The blonde stumbled back a couple steps and quickly hid her cellphone behind her back, "I said I'd be back in like five minutes."
Klaus started making his way down the small hill, grumbling as he did. In the middle of their 'roadtrip' Maleny had practically forced him to stop the car with the excuse she was tired and wanted to stretch her legs. He faulted himself for being so naive to think Maleny wouldn't try contacting Davina.
"So you made your choice, you can at least tell me face to face, Mal," he stopped a couple feet away from her.
Maleny sighed and brought her phone from her back, "I didn't choose her, okay? I was just warning her that we were coming so...she would control herself."
"You met the girl for a couple of months, how the hell can you be...thinking about choosing her?" Klaus was failing to hide his own fear that Maleny may have already picked someone over him.
"I love Davina, she's like a little sister to me," Maleny tried to explain, "and I don't want to see her get hurt."
"You only knew her for a short time, Maleny! Months!" Klaus snapped, making it seem impossible that she could form such a strong attachment to the teen.
Grimly, Maleny said, "I don't see why I have to choose," she turned around, giving him her back as she stared at the crystal blue lake in front of her.
"You knew sooner or later this would happen," Klaus said similar words Davina had without realizing, "One day, she will succeed in hurting one of us and then you'll have to choose what side you're on. So choose!"
"I don't want to," came the childish, low voice as Maleny sat down on a rock, her gaze maintaining itself on the lake.
"Mal!" Klaus exclaimed, more distraught, "I don't know what to think anymore…"
"Why can't you just think that maybe I like Davina, and maybe I like you too," Maleny snapped at him, "and maybe I want all of us to stay alive and just…" she swallowed hard, "...be happy."
Sensing her voice was signaling she would soon begin to cry, Klaus held back another comeback and instead walked over and bent down beside her, taking on a softer tone, "Because those are fantasies, Maleny. This isn't the village anymore - people despise us and it's kill or be killed."
"I-I'm not ready for that," Maleny confessed, meeting his look with her glossy blue eyes. "This curse, it's...it's taken so much away from me that the little that I have I need to preserve. I want to keep it all."
"But witches, vampires and werewolves despise each other. In this particular city, there is no peace amongst us."
"I'm a witch," Maleny gestured to herself, knowing it was a weak response, "Does it seem like I despise you or your family?"
"You're a special exception," Klaus shared a smile with her, "But there's no one else like you, I'm afraid. So we must fight to be safe - so that our loved ones can be safe."
"You're doing this for Hope?" Maleny looked at him, genuinely missing his double implication.
"...yes," Klaus nodded after a moment. If she couldn't make a choice between him and some teenager, would it really matter if he told her he wanted to fight to keep her safe as well? She would just end up making another excuse on why they should just stay 'friends'.
"I don't get it though," Maleny started suspiciously studying him, "Mikael's pretty strong...how are you planning on killing him? Crossed as I am with you I don't want you stupidly going into a fight without a plan."
Klaus smirked and rose to his feet, pulling out Papa Tunde's blade from his jacket's pocket, "You thought I wouldn't take precautions?"
Maleny's eyebrows raised at the familiar weapon, "Oh, goody, Papa Tunde's Mystical-Knife-of-Ludicrous-Torment. Glad that's still around," she got up from her rock seat and made a face at the blade, "I'm telling you right now I will not care for your father."
"Wouldn't let you even if you wanted to," was the response back.
"You wouldn't 'let' me?" Maleny made another face, "Change my mind," she said suddenly, "I do want to care for him."
Klaus just rolled his eyes at her as he put away the blade into his jacket's pocket, "Your sarcasm never ceases to amuse me."
Maleny smiled, "Cos that's what I strive for - being an entertainer," she gasped upon hearing her cellphone ring, "I have service!" she quickly moved to answer it but Klaus snatched the phone from her and raised it up, "Hey!"
"Look at that, it's Davina," he kept her back with a hand on her arm, "Moment of the truth, Mal. Pick a side because it's not going to be pretty."
Maleny stopped struggling and crossed her arms, "I don't want to and I don't think I should have to. I want everyone to be alive, why can't you just kill Mikael instead? He's the one that's dangerous here."
"It seems you've forgotten Davina's warning," Klaus lowered his hand holding the cellphone that stopped ringing shortly afterwards, "She's told you to pick a side as well, meaning she's prepared to go with everything she has. I admire her for that, truthfully," he tilted his head, "But it's not gonna do much for her in the end."
"Klaus, don't do that, please," Maleny resorted to plead for her friend's life, "I will talk to her, I swear, but please don't hurt her."
"Centuries ago that may have worked," Klaus admitted and handed her back the phone, "But centuries ago things weren't as difficult as they are now."
"Time may have changed us but we're still the same underneath…"
"Are we really, Mal?" Klaus stepped towards her, slightly intimidating her with his close gaze, "Centuries ago you would have chosen me in a heartbeat."
Centuries ago, she didn't have many people in her life. Now she had a lot more to care for - Cami, Hayley and Davina. It was difficult to choose - she wasn't used to it!
"I never said I didn't choose you," Maleny weakly said, looking up at him, "I know that's what this whole thing is about. You're angry with me, I get that - I deserve it. But please don't think that I would ever stop caring for you, it's impossible."
Klaus couldn't help his frustration leak out, "Then choose already!" he almost shouted at her. He wanted her to choose because he needed to hear her say 'I pick you' like she always did. He wanted to know that even though such a long time had passed and she had changed so much she still loved him in the end.
But he wouldn't say that out loud.
"I'm sorry," Maleny bit her lip, "But I just don't want to. I want both of you alive, I want both sides alive, alright? I don't think that's a bad thing here."
Klaus stepped back from her, trying to drown all his frustrated shouts, "I will try to consider your thoughts concerning Davina...darling," he added the word with a tensed tone then super-sped away.
"Klaus!" Maleny shouted after him, attempting to run up the hill to catch up but it was impossible and she fell to her knees, "Klaus!" she called again but it was no use.
He had left her - God knows what he would do to Davina out of pure frustration from their argument.

"You can't be serious," Cami declared after hearing Elijah's plan for the day.
"What would make you think I'm not serious?" the Original raised an eyebrow as he shook off his jacket and began rolling up his sleeves of his shirt.
"I don't want to fight you!" Cami shook her head and took two steps back from him.
"Cami, it's very simple, you wanted help and you have it," he gave a shrug.
"Yeah, for the other vampires," the blonde frantically waved a hand to the open door, "And they're training outside with Marcel. Why do we have to train in here?" she gestured to the empty loft, "Why do I have to train at all!?"
"Because you need the help."
Cami huffed, once again feeling like he wanted her to keep needing him...and that was something she wasn't going to take, "Fine," she declared and walked up to him, deciding he could use some punches.
"Whenever you're ready," Elijah motioned he was in place. Cami scrunched her nose before attempting to punch him in the face. However, it was easily caught between Elijah's hand, "As a devout feminist, I refuse to say that you hit like a girl."
Cami narrowed her eyes and stepped back, "You're way out of line today, Elijah, I swear," she attempted another punch but was easily taken down again.
"How so?" Elijah questioned as he blocked another blow from her.
"Acting so triumphant when I called you earlier, for starts," Cami growled as both her hands were restrained by him, "Like you were expecting me to call for help! I mean what was that!?" she went for a kick but that was also blocked off, "And then now, it looks like you enjoy my defenselessness!" she took a breath as she momentarily paused, "I don't want to follow you around anymore. I want to live again."
Elijah then stopped as well, staring at her silently for a minute before uttering the soft words, "It was never my intention to make you feel like that, Camille."
"Then what is your intention?" Cami ran a hand through her hair that'd gotten in her face with the fast movements, "Because it really just feels like you're waiting for me to mess up and call for you."
It would be a lie if Elijah said he didn't know, because of course he knew. The thought merely startled him because he hadn't quite realized it himself. But standing before Cami he could see it now, and perfectly. The only problem was the way she could possibly react to it.
"Well?" Cami asked again, impatience lacing her tone.
"Over the past month that we've been communicating, searching for Maleny, and you coming back to visit...I've grown accustomed to having you close by," Elijah said with a small smile, "Even when Mal returned, we became closer and...when you chose to stay with Gia, and then preferred staying here," he gestured to the loft, "I was a bit...lost."
"Ooh," Cami blinked, the response really taking her back. She felt her heart ping in a way it hadn't before, and before she knew it, she was asking more questions, "What exactly does 'lost' mean in this situation?" before he replied, he motioned for Cami to keep trying and with a small groan she did, "Well?" she asked again.
"I liked having you around," Elijah began again, managing to block one of her attacks but she was beginning to find her rhythm and thus was more tricky to anticipate.
"Because I practically followed you around like a lost puppy," Cami reminded with a sour smile before successfully kicking and pushing him to the wall.
Elijah took advantage that her emotions had become a distraction and easily used a hold on her arm to switch positions with her. Cami sucked in a light breath when she realized how close they were, "Woah…" came out of her mouth before she could think clearly.
Elijah was more intact with reality and was therefore able to clarify Cami's doubts, "This may be out of line as you said but I enjoyed your company up to the point where it...hurt that you chose to stay here."
"I...I didn't mean to," Cami slowly said, feeling guilty even though she was telling the truth.
"I know you didn't," Elijah smiled softly at her, "And, in a way, I technically was waiting for you to call for help...because it seemed like that was the only way I would get to see you again."
Cami's eyes half-widened at the confession, once again only able to utter, "Woah…" she felt her heart rate increase with their proximity and she would really like to know why she was feeling so nervous all of a sudden. It was just Elijah after all...wish his...sweet words...and...nice face...and voice…
"Elijah?" Hayley's voice cut through the moment and immediately saw the distancing of the two vampires. Hayley knew they were just itching to get together and it would happen eventually, she just preferred it to be later so that it wouldn't hurt as much as it did now. "We need to talk," she managed to say without falling apart. As she entered the room Aiden came in behind her.
"What the hell is he doing here!?" Cami angrily moved for him when Elijah grabbed her arm to stop her.
"We're not here for a fight," Hayley quickly clarified, "Just hear him out, okay?"
"Speak," Elijah then ordered the werewolf, "I suggest you be succinct."
Aiden sighed, understanding he wasn't the most welcomed of visitors at the moment, "Please, I need your help."
"I'm sorry, wasn't it one of your orders that all vampires here needed to run?" Cami interjected, "Now you're asking for help?"
"Cami, it's serious," Hayley softly said, making the blonde calm down slightly, "Just listen..."

Maleny walked along the side of road with a heavy breath, making way for Davina's cabin which was still pretty far away by foot. She could not believe Klaus had done to that her...well, she actually kind of could. It hadn't been the first time he'd tried something like that. This time however, he'd gone away because he was hurt. Maleny berated herself for causing so much trouble in the little time she'd been back.
"Stupid, stupid, stupid," she stopped suddenly and sighed as she began taking off her jacket, the heat becoming too much with her speed walking, "You just couldn't give an answer, could you? Course not. That would be to 'easy'."
She was supposed to be telling Klaus she loved him, not that there was someone more important than him. She loved Davina, truly, but if Maleny got to real thinking...the teen wouldn't equal the level Klaus was on. What Klaus had said was true, she'd only known Davina for about a month or so. Yet she'd known Klaus for centuries. In those centuries, whilst there had been plenty of arguments, in the end Maleny always knew she was loved and that he loved her back with equal intensity.
As Maleny folded her jacket, her mind began to wander to those moments...
"Maleny? Maleny, come on out already," called Klaus, grumbling as he went through the forest, "I know you're here, your scent is strong."
He stopped at the sound of footsteps coming towards him, and he couldn't help smirk when he saw the blonde woman emerging between two trees, still seemingly crossed with him as she held an unfinished flower crown in her hands. She pretended to be more interested in it her fingers twisted the small flowers' roots.
"I only came out because I got tired of your shouting," she clarified.
"Thankful, nonetheless," Klaus mocked a bow which made her roll her eyes, "Still upset, I see," he commented once he straightened up.
"What are you talking about? I came out to find more flowers, see?" she gestured to the crown.
Klaus smirked and came towards her, even more amused when she gave him her back, "So, you're no longer upset with me?"
"Of course not," Maleny answered dismissively.
"Great-" Klaus began when Maleny added something else.
"Just as long as you realize we no longer have anything between us."
Anyone else who didn't know Maleny would have been overly concerned with that statement, but Klaus took it with a light chuckle, "Oh, is that so?"
"Mhm," Maleny nodded, focusing on one certain flower that refused to work with her, "Clearly, you have more interest in that woman so you might as well go running for her. She probably has some interest in you, so..." she shrugged.
The jealousy laced in her tone made Klaus feel even more smug about the situation, "And yet," he slid his arms around her waist, making her stop her flower crown work, "my eyes cannot seem to look away from you.
Maleny huffed and dropped her flower crown to the floor, "Tatia can appear to be this happy, kind woman but I know - just like all the other women - that she is a two face," she turned around, "Do you know she also made eyes towards your brother, Elijah? I saw her, with these eyes," she pointed at herself, "Yesterday it was him, today her eyes are set for you and tomorrow they will be set for another. I am only afraid that you will fall under her charms. I am not blind - she is beautiful and young."
"As are you, but you exceed hers and any other woman's," Klaus put a hand on her waist and leaned to rest his forehead on hers, "No one will ever reach you, my darling."
Maleny still seemed unsure of his acclamation and questioned, "Tell me the truth, Klaus," she whispered, "if you had to choose between me and Tatia to...marry," she blushed crimson, "who would you pick?"
Klaus chuckled at the absurdity of the question, "I would pick you in less than a heartbeat."
Maleny gave a crooked smile, "And that also includes any other women who comes up to you? I know vampirism can alter your feelings...so, will it?"
"Absolutely not," Klaus assured her and placed a kiss on her lips.
Maleny giggled as the kiss went on and she was walked up against a tree. She pulled away to take a breath, "Okay, I feel more sure now," she chuckled sheepishly, her cheeks tainted pink.
"That is how I always want you to feel, Maleny," Klaus spoke earnestly as he cupped her face, "I will always choose you over anyone."
Maleny slowly nodded, her heart hammering within her chest, "Okay," she whispered, her hands crawling up to his shoulders, "I guess I can go back to finishing my flower crowns..."
"I have a better idea," Klaus smirked before kissing her again.
Maleny took a deep breath and threw her jacket over her shoulder. She continued to walk whilst thinking back to her sweet memory. He'd promised her she would always come before anyone...and now this was how he was repaid? It wasn't a matter of repaying, Maleny then thought, it was simply a matter of...well, love. He promised her and even now, though angry with her he always came through. Maleny felt even more determined now to get back to him and tell him how much he meant for her.
At the sound of a car getting closer, she turned around and started waving a hand, hoping it would stop by her.

As it turned out, Aiden really was on good terms for the moment. It appeared Esther was planning on forcing young werewolves to trigger their curse in the night. This had both sides, vampires and werewolves actually working together to send the kids deep into the bayou and away from Esther's grasp. It was a detailed plan that was sure to work. It only involved certain people to do their roles as given.
In the party streets of the Quarter, Gia 'drunkenly' ran into one of the werewolf leaders and soon started what looked to be a fight. Just before, Marcel appeared behind the werewolf and snapped his neck. The two vampires glanced at Aiden, appearing to be running away from them.
Aiden, along with the other two leaders, chased after them and left Oliver to take the children away. He led them into Rousseau's where Hayley, Cami and Josh were waiting.
"Ollie, this way!" Hayley motioned for them to hurry in.
Josh had a passage way waiting for them, one hidden behind a cupboard, "It's a passageway from the Prohibition days. It'll take us pretty much anywhere we want to go."
"We better make it quick," Cami ushered the kids into the passageway.
Josh led the way through the tunnels with and flashlight and Hayley motioned to the kids to keep quiet. It would only take a sound to alert the werewolves they were on the move. They came out to a metal gate where Gia was already waiting for them.
"Hey, where's Marcel?" Josh asked quickly.
"Uh, he's getting the getaway car!"
"Hey! Big-mouth! Shut it!" Hayley hissed, earning a glare from Cami, "There are werewolves everywhere."
"She's new," the blonde snapped as they hurried out.
Eventually, they reached the gas station where Marcel had an ambulance acquired for them as a means of a getaway.
"Let's go!" he ordered the kids as he opened up the back doors of the ambulance.
Aiden spotted his younger brother and quickly hugged the kid, "Nick!"
"Aiden! You made it!" the young boy hugged back, relieved to see things were not going to go like that woman, Esther, had ordered it to be.
"Of course I did! I told you I'd be here, didn't I? Go," Aiden ushered his brother into the ambulance and looked about for any remaining kids.
"This worked out well," Gia cheerfully declared as the doors of the ambulance were shut.
"It's not over until we're all together," Cami muttered, unable to feel at peace knowing Elijah was probably handling some sort of fight with the werewolves.

Klaus had finally found Davina's cabin shortly after leaving Maleny. He was pretty irritated to find the nuisance of a spell blocking his view of the interior of the cabin. He found a staff made of wood that bore a mark only owned by his father of course and decided to fling it through the window.
"Enough games, Davina!" he shouted, "Send out my father! Let's finish this!"
Unbeknownst to him, his actions had caused Davina to injure her head and pass out. While her newfound friend, Kaleb, or rather Kol Mikaelson, remained conscious he found himself in a choke-hold by his own father who still didn't know of his true identity.
"Release me! Or I will kill you right now!" Mikael threatened and forced the teen onto the floor.
Outside Klaus only grew more angry, "DAVINA! Is this not why you brought him for? I'm not afraid!"
It wasn't long before he heard the creaking of the front door followed by Mikael's footsteps, "Hello, boy," he greeted in and usual sneer like voice.
Whilst Klaus did feel a bit afraid he certainly didn't show it. He was ready to fight, just like always, and even more since he was already angry. He had more incentives to do so.
"You seem rather impatient," Mikael remarked, "Are you so eager to meet your end? You've bid goodbye to Maleny, I assume?"
The mention of her name out Klaus into a deeper rage, "Do not mention her name, this is between us."
Mikael took it all the same, really uninterested in the blonde woman, "I've traveled all the way back from hell for this moment."
"Well, then, I'd hate to keep you waiting!" Klaus smirked before lunging for a first attack.
Though the hits were almost equal in strength, it was Mikael who eventually kicked Klaus to the ground. In a weakness, he grabbed the hybrid by the neck and intended on finally using the white oak stake when Klaus kicked him back. With a quick stomp on the hand, Klaus was able to reach for the stake. However, Mikael once again had an upper hand and put the hybrid down to the ground again. Whilst holding him down, he tried driving the stake through Klaus' heart. The stake found its way to his shoulder instead, still managing to cause a grand amount of pain to Klaus. But through his pain, Klaus snuck Papa Tunde's blade from his jacket and plunged it through Mikael's chest. With a scream of agony, Mikael fell back to the ground and the blade fully entered into his body.
Klaus managed to pulled the stake from his shoulder and slowly got to his feet. He kept a tight grip on it whilst watching Mikael writhe pain, waiting to see him finally lose conscious. He had about fifteen minutes of silence before he heard familiar shouts.
"I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" he heard from the trees and looked up to see Maleny running towards him. She stopped and leaned on her knees to catch her breath, "I swear to God that is the last time you leave me behind. You owe me a new jacket!" she panted for air, her eyes scanning the area, "Davina, is she…?"
"Fine," Klaus rolled his eyes, figuring she would care more for the teen, "She'll wake with a spectacular headache, but given her intentions for me, she should count herself lucky."
"Thank you," Maleny finally stood straight and took a deep breath to gather her bearings.
"'Course, if you drop dead of a heart attack, I may have to kill her on general principle."
"You ditched me you jerk!" Maleny scowled and ran a hand through her hair, "I had to hitch-hike and then run on the backroads of the Bayou!"
"Well, your perseverance is duly noted," Klaus said, eyeing her with some amusement but mostly irritation, "Davina will be most pleased."
Maleny rolled her eyes, "I will brand you as the stupidest man alive if you seriously think I did all this for Davina," she rushed up to him and hugged him, leaving him startled for a second or two.
It didn't take long for him to hug back, momentarily relieved to hear he'd been her motivation.
Maleny pulled away wearing a crooked smile as she placed her hands on either side of his face, "Are you okay? You're not screaming so I assume no white oak stake was used here."
"I'm not in pain," Klaus turned them behind where Mikael laid on the ground.
"Is...is he still alive?" Maleny blinked.
"No, I decided death was far too easy for him and so I left him in agony."
"Nice," Maleny chuckled then looked at him, "I mean...not nice, that's totally bad, but…" she rolled her eyes, "You know what I mean."
Klaus smiled in amusement, unaware his arm had found its way around her waist.

Later that day, the vampires regrouped in Marcel's loft to celebrate their triumph against Esther. Hayley watched Marcel pour her a drink for their celebration and gladly took it, "Well, we did it! I never thought I'd see the day when "we" meant us."
"Well, you're a vampire now. First rule is never say never, 'cause never ain't that long," Marcel laughed with her, "And, what we did today was the right thing. But, you know it's gonna make things worse between your people and mine."
Off to the side, standing in front of a window was Cami who blankly stared out. Gia came over with two drinks in hand, intending on celebrating as well.
"Cheer up, we did it," she nudged Cami and motioned to take the glass.
"I can't count it as a triumph until Elijah walks in," Cami quietly said but nonetheless took the glass.
"And he will," Hayley approached the two women, easily noticing the stiffening in Cami, "It's alright, Cami. You're not doing anything bad so why hide your concern?"
Cami wearily looked at the brunette, "We're not...he and I...it's not what…" she sighed and returned her gaze to the window, "It's not what it looks like, nor what anyone thinks."
"What ever it is, it's okay," Hayley assured, understanding her nervousness, "We're all free here. So, will you finally be coming back home?"
Cami exchanged glances with Gia, and Gia immediately excused herself away. Cami cleared her throat and turned to Hayley, "I'm not sure."
"Why'd you leave? Mal was so distraught about it. I don't get it, aren't you two cousins?"
"That's just it, we're not. We're not family," Cami shook her head, "She's, whether or not she wants to admit it, a Mikaelson...just like you are. I'm not. I'm not part of that family I'm just someone who got caught in a crossfire."
"So was I," Hayley felt the need to remind, even raising a hand.
"But you're different," Cami said, frustrated, "You know how to fight, you're not afraid. Plus, c'mon Hayley, you had Klaus' child. That's an unbreakable link. Mal has a centuries old love story with him. I've got nothing with anyone.
"So that's why you left, then?" Hayley raised an eyebrow, "Because you think you're not a part of the 'family'?"
Cami sighed, "I know you think it's stupid, but it's how I feel okay? Before I came here I went back to the compound to talk to Mal about me starting college now but I found you and her having a conversation, and laughing, and…" she shook her head, "It just felt like I didn't belong there."
"Maleny loves you, Cami. You are family, whether you think or not," Hayley put a hand on her arm, wearing an honest smile on her face, "You're one of us."
Cami gave a small smile back, a little more inclined to believe that. However, once she remembered Elijah still wasn't around she looked back at out the window, any source of happiness fading away.

After Mikael had been loaded into the car, Klaus begrudgingly returned to the cabin where Maleny and Kol (still in his Kaleb charade) were checking the unconscious Davina inside.
"I think we should get her to a hospital," Maleny spoke with a frantic concern.
Kol glanced to see Klaus at the doorway, still unable to enter without the invitation, "Oh. Hello, darling. Back to huff and puff and blow the house down?"
Klaus raised an eyebrow, his hand gripping the white oak stake, "You know, it's funny how often a person's sharp tongue can end up cutting their own throat."
"Don't waste energy on a kid, Klaus," Maleny looked at him wearily, "He's just scared."
"Yeah, she's right," Kol quickly said but then added, "You know, you may want to try a bit of lavender under your pillow. Does wonders for stuck-up pillocks with anger issues."
Maleny then turned on him, irritated, "That wasn't an invitation for you to be a jerk either. Shut up."
"I promised not to kill Davina. I said nothing of this insolent sod," Klaus reminded to Maleny, glaring at Kol who only smirked back.
"Boys, please," Maleny sighed as she gave Davina a last look before coming out to meet Klaus, though moving him away from the cabin for security measures, "Okay look, the quicker we get Davina to the hospital the quicker we leave the kid behind. So…?" she held a hand out, motioning she wanted the keys.
With a deep sigh, Klaus handed the car keys over to her, "Fine."
"Thank you," Maleny beamed, "And this is not to mean I pick her okay?" she clarified afterwards.
"Well," once he handed her the stake he gripped her hand, pulling her closer, "does that mean you've made your choice, then? A clear one?"
Maleny swallowed down and gathered her courage, "I think we need to talk after this. I have something important to tell you."
Klaus nodded, agreeing to her terms, "Then let's hurry."
"Thanks," Maleny smiled and hurried towards the car, her heart thumping as she thought of how she would tell him her feelings.
Klaus started back for the cabin, thinking of ways to restrain himself and not kill Kaleb if he made another remark. The boy was as irritating as all the humans commonly were, only this one had something extra.
"You've got a way with words," he commented to the teen once he reached the porch again. Kol looked up from Davina, "You seem to have crossed continents to order to weasel your way into Davina's good graces, thereby meddling in my family business. Strange, isn't it?"
Kol simply smirked, knowing it wouldn't be long before Klaus figured it out.
"Unless it's your family business," Klaus continued, "You know, ever since my mother and Finn showed up, I was wondering when you might make an appearance, Kol."
Kol laughed and mocked a bow towards his brother, "Then the jig is up! Hello, brother!"
"It's not that I begrudge you hitching a ride back to the land of the living. It's just that you're making all the wrong friends, brother. And, I have half a mind to show you how wrong you are."
Kol swayed his way up to the porch, "But you're not going to do that, are you? Because good ole Mal told you to leave me alone. She hasn't changed much, has she?" he pretended to look out in search for Maleny, "I'm curious, does she take one of those little baggies out when she takes you for a walk?"
Klaus angrily called out to Maleny, "Maleny? I changed my mind, I am going to kill him after all," Kol smirked again, but the eerie silence that had fallen put Klaus on edge, "Maleny?" he called again and turned towards the driveway. Still, there was no response.
He hurried to the driveway and found the car door of the driver side open and the window smeared with blood. He rushed to the trunk of the car and saw it was also open and with no Mikael inside.
Mikael had taken Maleny.

➺ CAMILLE “CAMI” O’CONNELL who looks exactly like LEAH PIPES has been spotted in the heart of new orleans. I heard the HETEROSEXUAL, TWENTY-FIVE/ TWENTY-FIVE -year-old, VAMPIRE is one of the RETURNED FROM THE DEAD that has found their way to new orleans and you will find them working at the SUNSHINE ARTS as an ART CURATOR.
⚜ Intro:
How long has your character been in new orleans? Do they like new orleans? What brought them here? Are they planning to stay?
Cami’s only finally reached New Orleans a few hours ago. New Orleans has always been more than just a 2nd home to her as this was where she fully blossomed to most of her potential and had tremendous character growth here. She also found out about her hidden family legacy here and semi-consciously feels like it is somewhat her destiny to be in New Orleans despite the number of tragedies that had happened to her family and herself in this city. This was the place that she had found a sort of 2nd family with the people she had bonded with throughout her years of living in New Orleans. The history she has with this city is pretty deep due to the number of life events that had befallen upon her here thus, you could say that New Orleans has a very special place in her heart.  But the above is only one of the main reasons that brought her back to NOLA. The other main reasons is she’s seeking for the answers she needs to some of the major events that had happened to the important people in her life before she died. Currently she only knows only bits and pieces of what has happened through someone, after she returned from the dead, and of course she also knows a summary of what happened to Mystic Falls. She also knows that plenty of the dead have returned so she really wants to know whether the people she cared for are back as well and to see them once again.
Staying is still an unanswered question for her. For now, she hasn’t thought that long-term yet. She just wants to achieve her current main objectives and then only think about what to do next. Taking it slow and one step at a time is her motto now.
Are they one of the returned dead, if so how long have they been alive for? Or are they one of the unfrozen, if so how are they handling that the world has moved on without them? Or are they one of the survivors, if so how did they handle the dead returning and now the unfreezing?
Cami is indeed one of the returned dead. She only returned back to the land of the living, in Mystic Falls about 2 weeks ago.
Is your character connected with any of the groups in new orleans? The witch coven, the werewolf pack or the mikaelson academy?
She was previously connected to a former Leader of the Human Faction, Keieran O’Connell which was her uncle. She is still apart of the O’Connell family and its legacy. Cami also happens to be an extremely close friend and highly trusted ally of the Mikaelson Family.
Anything we should know about your character, the way you play them? Headcanons? Any connections or plots you want for your character that you would like others to take up within the group? What canons would you like to see taken for your character?
So right now, she’s feeling a little out of her zone still and as well as a bit out of place trying ( struggling slightly ) to adjust back to life as one of the living beings on Earth, well, as she living as she can get as a vampire. She’s also slightly on the edge currently, as in, she’s being anxious and slightly fearful of some stuff, not wholly the 100% brave bartender just quite yet. She’s also very wary and pretty distrustful of anyone she doesn’t know or never met before. Despite her still being kinda impulsive when it comes to wanting to save her loved ones and the innocents & acting on it, there will be times, when she can be a little hesitant and a bit more careful on some occasions. She only returned from the dead abt 2 weeks ago, thus this is why her current personality and character is as stated.
A couple of headcanons ( more will be added on the dash every now and then when I’m rping later on ) : 1) Cami was actually extremely estranged from her parents eversince she came to NOLA to investigate about Sean. This was due to the horrible way her cold, shallow and selfish parents treated Sean after they heard the news about him. They had shown to her how horrified and ashamed they were of Sean and despite Cami’s vehement protests and huge arguments with them about Sean’s innocence, they had still chose to cut Sean off from the family tree, told Cami to forget about him  and maybe even pretend like he never existed. From what Cami saw, they never seem to grieve about him either, which of course infuriated and saddened her even more. Heartbrokenly, she left her family home with 2 vows: One; which was to determinedly get to the bottom of what really happened to Sean and Two: To never ever return to their house again. I also have headcanoned further into this that maybe her parents still loved her in their own way, tried to reach out to her after that incident of her leaving, and maybe, just maybe, they pretended to act the way they did, because they thought that by doing so, they’d be able to keep Cami safe and not know the truth about their family legacy.
2) Cami used to be the wild child and the rebel one in the O’Connell family as a kid and in her early teens. Sean was regarded as the Golden Child at that time and Cami, the more strong-willed one who loved her freedom and to do as she pleased even if it meant breaking and/or bending the rules. She was playful, very outgoing with a large bunch of friends and sometimes a bit mischievous too. She was also very straightforward to the T, bluntly speaking her mind but also knowing when to apologize later on when she realized she was wrong in certain situations. Her rather happy-go-lucky and somewhat rebellious nature tamed down and matured out in her late teens when a tragic event happened that sobered her and made her to become more reflective as well as to grow into the very matured woman that we knew on the series before her final death.
Canons which I would love to see taken up are of the course the ones that played important parts in Cami’s life and that have yet to be brought into this rp group such as:  the rest of the O’Connell family ( Sean, Kieran and Declan ), Marcel, Vincent, Hayley, Josh, Finn and Freya Mikaelson. I would also love to have Cami meet Esther and Mikael again, it’d be an interesting “reunion” too. As well as facing Lucien and Aurora.  Connections/Plots: I want all the connections and plots, every single kind !!! sdfghjkllkjh I also have two major wanted connections for her that are more for OC’s like her bestie which she thought had tragically died when she was 17 as well as her first serious boyfriend, who was secretly a werewolf and broke her heart when he left without a word.
Your characters bio: ( For canons, any details about their life after the show finished and since they returned. Or for ocs, we would like as much detail as possible about your characters history)
Cami has only made it back to NOLA a few hours ago. She spent her last 2 weeks in Mystic Falls bcos for her 1st week of being alive again, she was too damn weak, had a very high bloodlust at first and unfortunately which turned into in some heavy, rather wierd feverish state. She slowly only managed to get to know some bits and pieces of the things that happened to the Original family as well as how she came to be resurrected, from an old long lost childhood friend when she was in Mystic Falls. And that friend actually had been a vampire all this time when Cami thought that they had died and had moved to Mystic Falls after they were turned, decades ago. She’s now back in New Orleans alone, as that friend didn’t want to go to New Orleans for some untold reason and Cami’s reasons for being back is as told above :)

Part 5 Preview
Klaus walked out his room, closing the door gently as not to wake his sleeping wife. Well not before taking a quick look back making sure again that this was real and she was truly here. He turned around and went into their sitting room, no matter how much he wants to stay with her he needs to how this happened, why she went out of control after waking up and what happens next.
“How is she?” Elijah asked, apparently just as worried as Klaus.
Klaus shakes his head “I don’t know Brother, she has yet to wake up.”
Elijah nods in understand, obviously no one knows where they go from here, they weren’t expecting or even prepared for this situation.
“I guess we have to wait for Aiyana to wake up, because she’s the only one who can answer all our questions, first being why did she go on a killing spree instead of coming to find you, Klaus,” Hayley suggests, as she took a seat on the couch. Knowing none of them were leaving till they knew what was going on with Aiyana and where they go after all this.
They didn’t have to wait long because the next minute they heard a voice from behind Klaus say.
“Well Hayley to answer your question, I’ve been cursed for over 700 years, and now all three part of me is fighting for dormancy, unfortunately at the moment the monster in me is winning.”
They all turned to see Aiyana stand there, look less bloody than their first meeting, with a little smirk on her face and something else behind her hazel eyes. Hayley could see now why Klaus was so attracted to her. She had a face of an angel, but the devil was in her eyes from the years she had lived and according to Elijah was over 2000 years.
“The monster?” Marcel asked raising an eyebrow at her. She smiled and made her way over to the group.
“Oh I’m sorry, I hate the word vampire, the name didn’t exist till my dear husband and his siblings where made, I was just an immortal.” She explained as she got closer to Klaus, placing her hand on his cheek, which he just leaned into smiling.
All the others, well expect Elijah were shocked at Klaus reaction, they’ve never actually seen this side of him. Cami felt a ping of jealousy, which she was sure Aiyana sensed it or something because she looked at Cami and quickly removed her hand, much to Klaus’s dismay.
“So that explained, why you went on a killing spree but how did you wake up in the first place Ana, I thought we need Davina?” Elijah asked trying to stay on topic.
Aiyana couldn’t help but smile more, in 700 years it’s good to know, her Elijah hasn’t changed. They watched as she turned away from them and made her way over to the window, stretching her hand out, so she could finally and genuinely feel the sun on her skin, she hasn’t had the time to enjoy it while she was feeding the hunger, it almost made her cry.
“Ana” she turned to see the saddest in her husband eyes, he still blames himself for her curse, she gives him a reassuring smile.
“I’m fine Klaus, I’m just enjoying the sun for the first time, in a long time.” She turned to look at Elijah. “To answer your question Elijah, I have you to thank for that.” The group looked at her confused, which made her laugh, oh children.
“When you killed Celeste, you broke the spell, and here I am.”
“That doesn’t make any sense, I know a bit about blood magic, so if your curse was connected to Celeste bloodline, when she died the first time, you should have woken up then,” Marcel stated.
“Well aren’t you a clever boy.”
Marcel didn’t like the condescending way, she said that, but he let it slide this time. “Thanks but I’m guessing we’re missing a huge part of the story, so why don’t you tell us.”
She liked Marcel, he was so like Klaus even if he didn’t want to admit it. “Well as Marcel said that how blood magic usually works, yes but unlike the witches now, back then they were ten times worse, less cocky and whole lot smarter. They knew normal blood magic wouldn’t hold me and that once I woke, they would be slaughtered. So they didn’t only connect me to the blood of the head witch. I was connected to her entire bloodline by their blood and souls.”
“Oh I get it, so even though Celeste physically died, her soul jumped to enough body. So when Monique locked her in her original body and Elijah stabbed her, her soul went to the other side. Which in turn broke the spell and woke you up.” Cami explained.
“10 points to the human,” Aiyana said pointing a Cami.
“What did you do to make the witches, go to such extremes to keep you down?” Hayley asked, standing up, she worried that this would put them, mainly her baby in more danger.
“I was born,” Aiyana answered with a bit of bitterness in her voice, Hayley looks a Klaus in shock, thinking she was joking, but the look on his said otherwise, he wanted to reach out to her, but he knew she needs space right now.
“What do you mean?” Cami asked, but Aiyana wasn’t in the mood for any more question, this was taxing, and she wasn’t about to share her traumatising childhood with the woman her husband was having a baby with, or his ‘therapist’.
“Listen as much as I would love to go through my messy, bloody and not so pleasant childhood, I’m bored so can we talk about this enough time, you can leave now.” Looking at Marcel and Cami, they wanted to argue, but the look on Aiyana face said they would lose.
“One more question,” Marcel asked, Aiyana raised an eyebrow at him. “Yes Marcel, before you asked Davina alive, but you won’t be able to see her, she already in a lot of trouble because of you. Give her some time, and you have other problems to deal with.”
Marcel nodded and left without saying goodbye, which Ana thought was a bit rude, Cami was next to go saying she had to check on her uncle. Hayley said she had to let the wolves know about the new development, Elijah walked over and gave Ana a hug saying “We’ll catch up later, Darling but I think I should take my leave as well.”
Leaving just Ana and Klaus alone, she turns to him smiling. “Klaus….”
He cut her off with a rough kiss, for a moment she let her emotions take control, wrapping her arm around his neck, while he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulling her closer, they could feel the years of waiting and wanting in this kiss. After a few minutes, they finally pulling apart but not actually letting go of each other, leaning the forehead against each other.
“You real” Klaus laughed, oh how she missed his laugh. “Yes my love, I’m truly here. I told you, I would come back to you no matter what.”
“Yes you did, but your timing could have been better, we in a middle of a war at the moment darling.”
Ana laughed moving her hand from his neck, up to cup his cheek again. “Yes I noticed, but I’m here now.”
Klaus raised an eyebrow. “What have you got planned, Ana?” She gives her sweetest smile. “What makes you think I have something planned?” Klaus smirk back at her, “I know you, my love, you always have a plan.”
She smiles, putting her arm back around his neck, so she could lean back and look at him properly. “We need to know what the witches are up to, so you’re going to have to get that pretty little redhead, what her name Genevieve onside.”
Klaus gives her a confused look, “Do you think, she dumb enough to believe I would want her when I have you back?” Ana smile grew and slowly tracing her fingers down his neck to his chest. “I’m sure you can convince her otherwise, if memory serves me right, you can be very persuasive.”
He places his hand over her, “Ana, are you sure, you’ll ok with this?” she looked up at him, smirking, but he could see the fire behind her eyes. “Oh my love, believe me, once she stops being of use, I’ll rip her limb from limb, very slowly, that death will feel like a sweet release.”
Klaus laughed and lean’s his head against hers. “There the woman I married.”
Aiyana closes her eyes for a moment. “We have to keep, your and Hayley baby safe, I never want either of you to feel the loss of a child, it’s a pain that never heals.”
It was Klaus’s turn to cup her cheek, giving her a sympathetic look. “Your thinking about him, aren’t you, Nipahem?” she leans into his hand and kisses his palm “Always, but it doesn’t change the fact, he’s gone.”
“Ana” She looks up at him. “Don’t worry, Klaus, I’ll be fine, now where can I find a dress, we got a witch party to get ready for, and I can’t wait to meet your little redhead.”
Klaus laughs “I thought you would want to stay low, till you got your emotions and magic under a little more control.” Ana nods in agreements “I would normally but there a little witch, who I need to see and she a guest of honour at this party. So needs must.”
Klaus give her a questioning look “What is it between you and Davina, why is she so important?” Ana brushes her lip against his, “All in due time, my love, and let focus on our current problem.”
Before he can argue back, she kisses him, and he forgets, what he was about to say, distracted by the bliss of having his wife back, not seeing the danger lurking in the shadows, watching them.

klaus mikaelson & ptsd;;\\
i have passionately headcanonned that klaus mikaelson has suffered from ptsd into his later life as an adult after he was turned. this stemming from the childhood abuse he was subject to, all through his teenager years and going into his adult years, he was a victim of severe abuse at the hand of the man who was supposed to be for all intensive purposes, his father. parents are supposed to be those we can look to for protection, for them to approve us, to teach us right from wrong, and klaus never had any of that from mikael, and even from esther. but where are these so called symptoms of ptsd he deals with? now i’m not a psychologist, but lemme explain.
fight or flight response (or hyperarousal); many a times when klaus is put into situations that may cause him harm, his fight or flight situation kicks in. it’s always been there when he was a human, and with his transformation into being a vampire and then a hybrid it only elevated due to the situations he was put under.  he is always scanning around him, he’s hyper sensitive to jumping ahead five steps to make sure he can protect himself from incoming attacks. he knows how to run from situations he can’t escape, and he knows when to fight. he has always had to protect himself from mikael as a child, with many of his siblings trying and failing to stop it so he put it on himself that only he in the end could be the one who could protect him.
uncontrollable emotions; klaus has severely serious anger issues. he doesn’t know how to control his emotions. they are incredibly so on hyper drive at all times, and thats not just because he’s a hybrid, and has vampire feelings. its because he was always left by himself to deal with how he felt. no one was there to tell him as a child, at the time you need it as you’re developing that feeling these things was okay, good and bad emotions. childhood years, and early teen years help shape who you are as you become an adult and sometimes it can be incredibly hard to shake those tendencies you’ve developed. klaus has made changes in his personality and the way he deals with things, but more often then not, he has quite the tendency to let his emotions take control of him.
suicidal tendencies; he has a continuous need to put himself in places he’s going to get killed, even if it’s unrecognised. he’ll go into dangerous territory that puts himself at risk without batting an eye. he thinks he’s invincible, yet there is always someone out there with a new way to take down his specie. while this was strongest in his time dealing with the hunter’s curse, klaus has proven just how willing he is to die in the place of someone else. while some may call that heroism, or being a martyr, but when you analyse his history, he also does it because he doesn’t think he matters enough compared to other people.
nightmares; while this has been shown once in the show, with mikael infiltrating his dreams not long before hope was born in a gruesome matter, i do believe personally it wouldn’t of been the first nor the last time it happened. more so triggered by events, there’s times you can see klaus avoiding sleep to focus on other matters, putting his focus into painting to get him focused, or even just attending to other issues. while it isn’t obvious, if you really look into it, little things can be noticed to show his lack of need for sleep. now i dont believe this to be a hybrid thing and that he doesn’t need sleep because he’s a vampire. klaus pictures people of his past constantly. those who did good and bad by him. bad memories plague him. when you’ve lived for a thousand years, those memories would hard to be ignore, even if you’ve pushed them back to the furthest depths of your subconscious. because it’s your subconscious that takes over in sleep, and i almost would know that klaus would be reliving those memories he’s repressed all too often.
on guard/vigilant nature; in similar relations to the fight or flight response, klaus has hesitancy to be touched, or let himself feel close to people who may matter. for him to open himself up to someone indicates a huge matter of trust. for him to let others see into who he is at his core is a sincerely big step for him. like for example, we all saw how (even if it wasnt by her own doing), how much he was hurt when aurora broke his heart after he had fallen in love with her. we all saw how much cami’s death tore klaus apart because she was the one person who in some time continuously believed in him, through the good and bad and he lost her. he is terrified of loosing people who may matter to him and so he forces himself away from those situations. it’s half the reason why he’s so scared of hope because he knows being around him equals danger and he couldn’t bare for him to be apart of something horrific that may happen to her. he loves her so deeply that the thought of it alone could shatter his heart in two. that, is why he avoids those relationships where he may be close with someone. he won’t deal with that pain of being the cause of someones demise. because he simply cannot deal with it. he feels at fault for everything as it is.
---
now there is many more symptoms i could relate from ptsd to klaus’ actions he takes, but if i did that i’d be here writing for another week. but this headcanon is a huge part of my portrayal and something i have considered in how i write him as i’ve gotten to know his personality over the last five years.

Meet the Mikaelsons
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Prompt: Can you do a one-shot where you're Klaus' daughter and you're dating Stiles and he doesn't approve at all but your mom, Cami likes him?
Pairing: Stiles x Reader
Word Count: 880
Warning: Nothing (I feel it's overcrowded because I'm writing for so many characters but I actually really like it)
"Stiles, fix your bow tie, please." I lean over, wiggling it around, smiling when it ended up in the perfect spot. "There you go, you look so handsome." I kissed his nose before climbing out his jeep, in front of the 'Mikaelson Mansion'. I turned to find Stiles still in the jeep, fingers drumming on the steering wheel. I sighed and turned, swinging the door open, "Stiles, get out the car. You know they're vampires, right?  They can hear us, this, just come on. My mom hates it when company arrives late, it's inconsiderate." Stiles got out the car, not before checking his hair one last time in the rearview mirror. "Now," I growled flashing him my hybrid eyes, making him jump and rush to join me on my side of the car. I take his hand in my mine and it's clammy, "Stiles, calm down, they'll love you, I promise." I turned kissing his cheek before heading to the front door, walking right in. "I'm home!" I screamed, I heard a rush of footsteps, looking up to find My dad, Klaus, My Mom, Cami, my three uncles, Elijah, Kol, and Finn, my aunt Rebekah and Hayley and my older sister Hope, all having smiling faces. "I missed you guys."I let go of Stiles' hands leaving him standing there alone as I go to hug everyone, hugging Hope last,
"I know you missed me the most," Hope teased and I rolled my eyes, "Do not roll your eyes at me, I am your older sister. Now, are you going to introduce the eye candy or let him stand there scared to death all night." I look back to Stiles who looked like he was about to cream his pants,
"Stiles, babe, come here, allow me to introduce you to my very dysfunctional family." My dad held his hand to his heart, pretending to be hurt, "Don't try to act offended dad, you're the most dysfunctional of us all, but I love you." My dad smiles and bows his head, "Okay, enough, allow me to introduce you all to Stiles." I pull Stiles in front of me, "Stiles, this is my dad, dad this is Stiles." My father hesitantly shook Stiles' hand, and I could tell he was tense about something but I begin to introduce Stiles to the rest of my family, "And finally this is my sister Hope, she's two years older than me and thinks she is my keeper." Hope smiled, blushing, and shrugged,
"If she didn't go and get herself into so much trouble, I wouldn't have to think that way." I rolled my eyes,
"Anyway, I'm starving, what'd you make mom?"
~ We sat at the dinner table, digging into the meal my mom had made, instead of blood, red wine filled our glasses in respect for Stiles being here, "So, Stiles, what do you plan on doing after high school?"  My uncle, Elijah asked and Stiles almost choked on his water, "Oh, my apologies, do I make you nervous?" He laughed, sipping from his class,
"Actually, I want to go into law, my dad is the Sheriff of Beacon Hills, I will be attending the George Washington University in Washington D. C. in the fall. My best friend's dad pulled some strings to help me  get into the Pre-FBI program at the school." My uncle Elijah seemed impressed, my dad scoffed. "I'm sorry Mr.Mikaelson is something wrong?" My eyes widen as Stiles confronts my father, who looks just as shocked as I.
"Actually, yes, something is wrong, you're a human, a stupid human." My dad pouted, crossing his arms, sitting in his chair like an upset child, who's mom wouldn't let them buy their favorite candy from the store.
"Honey, stop." My mom sighed rubbing my dad's shoulder, "I like Stiles', he's very handsome and very sweet for our baby girl." My mom smiled a reassuring smile at Stiles who thanked her, nervously sipping his water.
"I also like him, Nik, he seems pure, she needs something pure in her life." Kol smiled, and I smiled at him, grabbing Stiles' hand from under the table.
"No, do not do that, do not make me look like a jackass, look at him, he's so pale and he looks so fragile if my baby girl needed help, how could he help her?" Stiles licked his bottom lip, his cheeks lighting up,
"I own a bat, a nice metal bat, used to have a wooden one but it broke." Rebekah giggled as well as Hope, Hayley sat there shocked, although trying to fight back a laugh.
"I will rip your throat out," My father growled, flashing Stiles his golden hybrid eyes, Stiles looked to me in pure fear and I begin rubbing the back of her hand with my thumb,
"Nik, sit the hell down, we all know you won't hurt him, Y/N loves him way too much." Rebekah groans, tired of my dad always looking like the big bad wolf, my mom looked over at my Aunt and smiled, mouth a, thank you.
"Now, Stiles, Y/N has never told us, but how did you meet?"

CHAPTER NINETEEN HERE
Chapter 20 - Every Rose has her thorn
Tumblr media
Many millenniums ago, they were creatures that lived between worlds, the demonic realm, and the world we live in today, these creatures were quickly vanquished by brave soldiers who learned the demon’s weaknesses and used it against them to contain them within their own realm. Many years later, the demons let loose four of their own kind; four of their own children who were born into our world as Annabella, Magnus, Kayne, and Primrose, who grew more powerful each day they were alive, not knowing their mission was to one day break the gateway to the demonic realm open and free all of their kind, however, before they could learn their real reason for existing the witches they had created, particularly Sapphire and Auxentios, betrayed the chosen and all chances of the demons to freely realm our world again were gone…at least until recently. Kayne Black tried and failed to strengthen the gateway between worlds to protect his world from his own kind, his failure costing him his life and despite Klaus Mikaelson’s replacement theory the gateway was still weak, the only one who could now protect everything changing for the worse was Rose Black, who just so happened to have no intention of saving anyone or anything but instead wanting nothing more than vengeance for the death of her brother.
“We cannot place our heads in the sand and wait out Bella and Rose’s retaliation to Kayne’s death!” Freya stated, as she, Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and Kol stood within the fountain area of the Mikaelson compound. “As sick as this sounds, we need to act now, strike while they are still grieving before they have enough time to come up with their revenge.” “As much as I do love a good murder mission, I would rather not go to war with the only two remaining friends this family has,” Kol argued with his oldest sibling. “Freya is right we need to make a move on them before they make a move on us which they will most definitely do considering both sisters loved Kayne immensely.” Elijah chimed in, defending his sister Freya’s plans. “If anyone harms Bella or her unborn child family or not, I will take you down!” Rebekah threatened her siblings. “I did not reunite us, beg for favors from old friends just so we could once again be the destructive forces we once were!” “For once I think Rebekah is right, I am certain Marcel will convince Bella not to enact revenge besides she’s the New Orleans regent and is building a home here for herself and her unborn child no matter her love for Kayne she would not risk all that for him.” Klaus defended Rebekah and Kol, pitting him against Freya and Elijah’s reasoning. “Rose is meant to be the wickedest witch out of that family, the psychotic loose cannon and from what I have been told has only ever felt any genuine closeness to the brother that you put down Klaus.” Freya continued to argue her side to the original hybrid, determined to get the family on her side. “Bella may or may not want revenge but Rose…” “Rose will stop at nothing to take down anyone even remotely involved in killing her brother myself included despite our history.” Kol reluctantly admitted. “But that does not mean we have to kill her, perhaps a witch version of the daggers Niklaus so willing used against us.” “You’re suggesting daggers?” Klaus scoffed at his younger brother, amused to see someone him mention the methods he once used “Rose broke me free; she had every right to choose her mother’s side and instead she chose this family…as much as it pains me to say I am not down for betraying her.” Rebekah revealed to her family, her hatred for the youngest Black sibling not being anywhere near as strong as it one was. “However, putting her down for a century or two is better than killing her…besides, she does love putting herself to sleep magically.” “Then we put her to sleep until we find a way to healthily let her work out her grieve without her attempting to put as all down.” Freya willingly compromised to Kol and Rebekah’s suggestion. “Rebekah…you’re going to have to talk to the eldest Black sibling to make sure she not only does not want revenge but to somehow convince her to turn on her sister.” “Well considering the bitch has literally betrayed everyone she has ever been in contact with it should be rather bloody easy!” Rebekah agreed in a bitchy tone, clearly still not over Bella’s betrayals.
Bella Black had many titles to her name, a former queen of a magical kingdom long forgotten, the eldest of four siblings, the leader of the Black family coven, an epic love for Rebekah Mikaelson, and a treacherous sister who knew how to turn her own siblings against each other, none of which she was proud of but the one title that she dreaded being most was that of a grieving sister. Bella had often taken a maternal role with Primrose and Kayne, bossing them about, keeping them in line and most importantly protecting them throughout the centuries and now Kayne had passed for the second time, to her knowledge, she felt like she had failed her siblings, a feeling which had left her broken. She wanted nothing more than to claim the lives of every Mikaelson, but she knew her chances against them were slim and now she was an expecting mother she had to put her unborn child’s safety above all else, even her beloved siblings, and that is what she had no choice but to do. “He saved me you know,” Rose revealed to Bella as the two sisters stood within the woods of the bayou in New Orleans. “Not during the lifetime that you remember but within the first two decades of our life…it’s funny us four were closer long before we believed we were family.” “How do you remember this?” Bella questioned her in disbelief. “Kayne’s parting gift to me was to restore my glory, I guess he must have found it all that time he went silent on us both.” Rose confessed to her eldest and last living sibling. “Funny thing is I do not feel much different except I now understand why Kayne was so adamant about trying to fix things with Magnus, I wish you could realize the bonds we share are even more special than family.” “I cannot believe you have all your memories back…if only Kayne could have seen you restored, it’s what he truly wanted for us all.” Bella replied to her youngest sibling. “I know you are planning something, and I know it will truly be what they all deserve but I cannot help you, not with the growing baby inside of me…I cannot risk my child’s life, not even to get justice for our fallen brother.” “Annabella, that precious child inside of you is a chance for you to have another shot at family without all the history that comes with the Black name and no doubt your child will be truly magnificent…I would never ask you to take part in what comes next and neither would Kayne.” Rose responded, being more reasonable than Bella had ever witnessed before. “However, you need to leave New Orleans immediately because what I have planned for the Mikaelson’s is a fate far worse than death…”
Klaus Mikaelson was still mourning the loss of Kayne Black, even if their history was complicated, the original hybrid could never deny the love he once felt for the man he found himself forced into killing, with Marcel having a child with Kayne’s sister Bella, and Kol having a special friendship with Rose, Klaus wanted to avoid going to war with them despite bonds like those never having stopped him in the past. Klaus had come a long way from the brother who daggered his siblings and killed their loved ones whenever they got out off line, the start of his slow redemption began when he fell for an incredible woman called Caroline Forbes, the redemption sped up when another incredible woman called Hayley Marshall became pregnant with his child, and the true changes began with his beloved daughter Hope Mikaelson was born and with the help of a third incredible woman Cami O’ Connell he vowed to do better by his Tribrid daughter. As the years went by Klaus faced many struggles which led to many spirals including the devastating death of Hope’s mother Hayley and Klaus’ former love Cami, but in the end, Klaus won his redemption at least in the eyes of Hope, Hayley, Caroline, Cami, and his siblings but in Rose’s eyes he would forever be the monster who killed her brother and Klaus knew this, he knew that Rose’s revenge was coming but he had no idea how she would seek it. Klaus vamp sped his way into his bedroom within the compound immediately startled to find a single red rose laying on his bed with a note beside it, immediately alarming him as he knew exactly who had left him this gift. “Magnus and Kayne had fallen down all at the hands of monsters wanting a crown. Ones neck was snapped like a broken stick by a monster who was far too lovesick. Another’s heart was ripped out long before his death, the man who did it also delivered his last breath. But what this disillusioned kings and queens did not understand was it was me who would make them fall at my hand. Every rose has her thorn.” Klaus read the note clearly written by Rose Black, after lifting it up, knowing she was declaring war, but not sure what she exactly she was promising. For some reason he did not quite understand, Klaus dropped the note back on the bed as he found himself mesmerized by the rose that laid on his bed, unable to stop looking at it, as the rose called out to the original hybrid until he eventually picked it up with his right hand only to feel a piercing sensation when a thorn from the rose pricked his hand, making it bleed briefly for a moment as he suddenly started to feel sleepy, unable to fight it, he soon found himself falling onto the bed unconscious.
Elijah Mikaelson was also mourning the loss of Kayne Black, but he was a lot better at hiding his pain from his family, having hidden it for over ten centuries, willingly making himself alone with his grief over a man he spent some very memorable days within the year 1969. Elijah had his feelings for Kayne for many decades, not just for his family’s sake but his own, his dalliance with the Black witch came at a time when Elijah was not with his family, at a time when the noble original believed he could be selfish and free himself from his family only for it to end in heartbreak before he returned to his family. He was not sure if he could have been as strong as Klaus was by delivering Kayne’s death, both Elijah and Klaus had made many sacrifices for their family, some which had well and truly broken him, and although he believed he was capable of murdering Kayne Black he found little relief in never having to find out. Elijah did not fear Rose’s retaliation as much as he feared Bella Black’s, a woman he had seen a lot of himself in which was exactly the reasoning behind his fear for the oldest Black sibling. Like him, Bella would stop at nothing for her family, even to the point of driving her siblings insane, Bella Black was as co-dependent with her siblings as Elijah was with his and therefore, he feared her far more than Rose. Elijah knew that Rose would be the first out of the sisters to put her revenge plan into action, but he honestly believed that Bella one day would make a move that nobody saw coming, this was somewhat good thinking in the sense of never underestimating Annabella Black, but he made a big mistake by underestimating Primrose. Like Klaus Mikaelson before him, Elijah vamp sped into his compound bedroom, where just like Klaus’s room there was a red rose waiting on Elijah’s bed with the exact same note lying beside it. Elijah knew instantly this was trap set up by the youngest Black sibling but that did not stop him from walking over to the rose, clearly compelled by the magic radiating off the flower, and despite wanting to get out of that room he quickly found himself picking up the rose nonetheless, only to be pricked by a thorn and like his brother just minutes before him, he fell to his bed unconscious.
Never in any of her many lifetimes did Rebekah Mikaelson ever fathom the idea of feeling sorry for Primrose Black, the two having something of a hatred for each other that until recently had lasted for centuries but following their very brief team up against the supreme witch Sapphire, Rebekah had found herself hating Rose less and less. She understood Rose’s loyalty towards her brother having remained loyal to her brother Klaus herself, far past the point of any of her other siblings, and she sympathized with the pain Rose was feeling for losing her two brothers, after all Rebekah was suffering the exact same pain not too long ago until she sought out help from Rose and her siblings Kayne and Bella. Rebekah’s union with the Black siblings brought Klaus, Elijah, and even Henrik back to life, and although Henrik’s ressurection came with its complications, like him briefly trying to kill the rest of his family before dying to then come back as a child again, Rebekah was more than grateful for Annabella, Kayne, and Primrose’s help. Always and forever had cost each Mikaelson so much and yet they always stuck to the oath they made to each other nevertheless, the latest cost being Klaus and Elijah’s lost love, and Rebekah’s dear friend, Kayne Black, and despite knowing if it came down to it that she would take out Rose, it did not help that Rebekah not only sympathized with her, and understood her, but if she were her, she would probably be seeking vengeance just the same… Rebekah found herself vamp speeding her way into the compound, like she had many times before, but this time around she found Rose Black waiting for her by the fountain, instantly realizing that whatever the witch had planned for her, it was all about to begin now. “I guess apologizing for your brother Kayne’s death would not be enough to stop us having to do the whole fight thing where you wave around your hands chanting some spells ultimately ending in me snapping your neck just like I did to your brother Magnus.” Rebekah greeted Rose in typical Mikaelson fashion. “I never liked Magnus so that death does not bother me in the slightest, even before he was my brother, he was a constant bore…but Kayne he was the best of us, the only one of us who deserved better especially from your bastard brother Klaus.” Rose responded to the original female hybrid, her hatred for her easy to see from the look on her face. “I wish Kayne was still breathing but he was a fool for coming for my family and expecting to live, just like you would be if you make a move on me, so, for Kol’s sake please do not be a bloody fool.” Rebekah warned the witch, reluctant to kill her, but knowing she would if she had to. “A fool?” Rose scoffed. “Your brothers Elijah and Klaus have already fallen by my hand, your next and then I’m going to murder your sister.” Rebekah attempted to vamp speed her way over to attack Rose but before she even got halfway there, she felt a sharp agonizing pain, forcing her to fall to her knees and scream in pain before she began coughing up blood. “The pain you are feeling now is every ounce of blood being removed from your body.” Rose revealed to her gleefully as Rebekah continue to cough up blood. “Your body will desiccate shortly and then the pain will be gone, once you are desiccated of course I am going to make sure nobody ever finds you so you will spend eternity never knowing what fate awaits the rest of your family.”
Three down, two to go, as Rose Black plotted to take down number four, the eldest Mikaelson sibling, the only one she barely knew and for a moment the lack of knowing Freya Mikaelson almost granted her a reprieve from Rose’s revenge but taking down Freya had nothing to do with the Mikaelson witch and everything to do with the family she was part of. Freya Mikaelson had gathered a group of New Orleans witches within Lafayette hoping to have them on side as she plotted her own move against the youngest Black witch, not knowing her siblings Klaus, Rebekah, and Elijah had already fallen by Rose’s hand and that she was next. “The Black siblings are as much a threat to this city as they are to us,” Freya told the large group of male and female witches. “They believe they created us witches and they will eventually try to claim some magical throne if we do not strike up an alliance and end them before they get a chance.” “You’re asking us to betray our regent for the Mikaelsons!” One of the witches argued. “The Mikaelson’s are the real monsters of this city!” Another witch shouted before she screamed in agonizing pain as her entire body suddenly caught on flames, before the entire group of witches, barring Freya Mikaelson, found themselves on fire, as Rose appeared as if from out of nowhere. “I strongly disagree!” Rose stated with a sinister smirk, as she walked past the witches on fire, their screams of pain serving as glee to the powerful witch. Freya attempted to chant in a long-forgotten language, attempting to put of the flames which were engulfing the group of witches she had hoped would help her take down Rose Black, who was now walking towards her, but despite pushing her power further and further with the spell she attempted to cast she was no match for Rose. “You are a powerful witch Freya Mikaelson, far more powerful than you are given credit for but I’m no witch I’m a god and you’re so out of your league!” Rose reveled in telling the eldest Mikaelson sibling, as she now stood in front of her. “You’re more innocent than your siblings could ever wish to be and because of that I will make this as quick as possible.” With a wave of her hand which seemed effortless to Rose Black, her magic forcibly snapped Freya Mikaelson’s neck with her magic, the Mikaelson sister’s lifeless body instantly falling to the ground as the group of witches continue to scream as they were burned alive.

Niklaus Mikaelson Imagine: You’ve Got it Wrong
Outfit Idea
Living up to your mom’s reign was something you think you couldn’t ever do. She was the almighty witch that many feared, and the one many wanted as an ally. You remember close she kept her friends and how much she valued her friendships. How she wouldn’t trust just anyone. How she would be a gentle and kind person with those whom she knew and loved. It was sudden when they began to kill your coven, and when they came for your mom you both already knew it was coming. She had told you nights before to find Niklaus Mikaelson if/when they come for her When they did come you hid in your closet and watched as they slaughtered your mom. A couple of hours after they left you grabbed the bags you packed nights before and left. Your mom had made you pack some clothes when the killings had commenced. The only reason you made it out alive was the reason of the masking of your scent your mom had begun to do. If not, you would’ve died along with her. You place your bags and release her into her new life before you leave. You stepped out only to find someone waiting for you by a black SUV. At first, you were ready to run, only to have him explain who he was and why he was there.
“Hey, are you listening?” a light-hearted voice speaks up and breaks your train of thought.
           “Hmm?” you ask
“What are you thinking about?” Kol asks as he leans back in his chair.
“Not important. I apologize for my ill manners, but we’re talking about yourself.” You in your mock impression of Elijah
He laughs and nods. “Do you ever wish you could go back to who you once were?”
“No, then again I am a witch who has not been around for a thousand years.” You reply honestly.
“I wish I could turn back the clock to be just that. A witch instead of a vampire who goes on a ripper streak in a blink of an eye.”
“It’s not your fault that you didn’t learn control. Someone didn’t teach you lot when you became vampires.”
“Yes, I know, but somehow I think that elation isn’t going to be enough for Davina.”
“I understand her perspective on the matter, but believe me if I were her I would love every part of you. Whether it’s a flaw or imperfection.” You say as you lean forward and rest your hand on his. “Also, if you don’t want to go on a ripper streak then you can still learn control.” You look up when Niklaus walk in and up the stairs. You turn back to Kol and he glances between me and Nik and smirks. “What?”
“I believe you're talking from personal experience,” Kol says as he motions towards Nik
           “No, I don’t think so…”
“I’ve seen the way you’ve looked at my brother. I know that you have feelings for him.”
You shake your head. “No, I don’t and even if I did have any feelings for him it’s not like they would be mutual. He has feelings for Cami or Caroline. There wouldn’t be anything I could do.” You respond as you turn to go up to your room. You place your jewelry off and place it on your vanity once you are in your room. You take your shoes off and walk out to the balcony. You lean against the railing and let the fresh air fill your lungs and the cold crisp autumn breeze on your face.
You then begin to wish things were as simple as Kol had said, but they aren’t. You’ve seen a lot and been through a lot, but seeing the one you love another hurts just as much as when you saw your mom being slaughtered. You wish he would give you the same kind of attention that he gave to Cami or Caroline. Maybe though it’s time you move on and keep your heart from breaking each time you see him. You turn around and get ready for bed.
Outfit Idea
“Why are you so determined to keep that beautiful smile of yours hidden.” Marcel flirts with you.
“Because there’s nothing for me to smile about.” You say in mock seriousness as you both burst into laughter. “Ok, all joking aside it’s just been hard to smile when your heart shatters every day you see the one you love falling more in love with another.” As you turn onto your street.
“You’d have to be blind to overlook such a beautiful woman. If you’d please tell me who this idiot is I can set him straight”
“Wouldn’t you like to know,” I answer as I stop by the door. “Also, really it’s not like it matters.” You respond as you look down at your fingers. “Thanks though for today. I really needed this.”
“Your welcome.” He responds as he pulls your chin up and puts a lock of your hair behind your ear. He looks you in the eyes and smiles. “Whenever you need a distraction you give me a call.” He replies as he kisses your cheek, and walks away.
You bite your lip and smile as you walk through the door, but as soon as you walk in you see Nik pacing back and forth on the terrace. “Well look at that, look who’s back. Nik announces as you come into view. “Where have you been?”
“I went out with a friend Nik.” You answer as you cross your arms and stop where you are.
“Do you not know what would’ve happened to you?!” he asks “The danger of you being out there? Do you not think? Do you not remember what happened to your-“
“YES, I DO! I WAS THERE! DID I FORGET TO MENTION THAT?!” you scream. “I was present when they tore her skin off her body. I saw when they plucked out all her finger and toenails. I saw them yank her hair out of her scalp. I was there when they broke each limb each bone in her body. When they finally clawed her heart out.” You respond in a brisk tone as you took a step closer to him. “I saw how they brutally slaughtered my mom. Each event engraved in my head that no matter what I do to distract myself it’s still there. There is no way for me to forget it. Apparently, Nik I do remember what happened to her.” You convey softly. “I understand what can happen to me, but I’m not going to stay trapped in here.”
“So, you’d rather hang out with Marcel?” he demands
“Don’t act like you suddenly care about whom I would like to spend my time with. I am just the daughter of your witch friend that helped you with your curse. The daughter whom you are now protecting out of a favor of my mother.” You claim as you roll your eyes as you go to the stairs, but he grabs your arm.
           “What do you mean?”
“That I’m sick of actually thinking that I have a chance with you. I keep thinking that maybe one day you’ll probably give me an ounce of the same attention you give Caroline or Cami. I realize now that it’s never going to happen. I’m not going to keep shattering my heart each day when I realize how wrong I truly am.” You respond softly and climb up the stairs.
“(Y/N)!” he yells out to you
You stop on the top of the stairs and turn around as the tears begin to fall. “Nik just don’t.” you whisper and you make your way to your room.
“I was beginning to wonder when you’d get.” Kol turns and pulls the earbuds out, but his smile turns upside down when he sees you. “Hey what’s wrong?” he asks
“It hurts Kol.” You answer as you go into his arms and he instantly realizes what you are talking about.
“I know (Y/N). I know.” He says as he wraps his arms around you and pulls you tighter against him as you finally let out all the heart break that you had kept bottled up…
You open your eyes confused as to why you were in your bed and how you got there. Then the events came back to you. You look out the window into the night sky wondering if it would get better.
“I know you're awake.” A husky voice breaks the silence. “We have to talk.”
           “Where’s Kol?” you ask
“He had to go somewhere and asked me to watch over you. I know I am the last person you want to see right now, but Elijah and Rebekah were out and I was the only one here.”
“I don’t need you to do that anymore. I am awake and clearly fine.” You reply as you sink further into your sheets as you turn to lay down on your back and play with your fingers looking everywhere but at him.
He takes your hands and you look up at him. “You’ve got it wrong love. Caroline and Cami were just distractions to get my mind off you.” He says as he sits on the side of your bed I slowly started to develop feelings for you, but I felt as if I was betraying your mother in an odd way. I wasn’t angry that you left the house. I was jealous that you went out with Marcellus-“
You sit up from the bed and crash his lips to yours. He took a while to respond, his lips frozen over yours until something broke inside him and the lion was set free. His lips begin to move over yours as if they were hungry for you. You moan into him as you grip his hair between your fingers as you grab him closer to you until you are laying down. He moves with ease until he’s laying over you between your legs without breaking the kiss. He presses you further into the bed, and you feel his erection pressing in between your legs. You gasp at his size as he smirks into the kiss “Getting cold feet love?” he asks as he kisses your neck.
You shake your head and reach for his shirt, quickly pulling it over his head and tracing his skin. He brings his lips back to yours this kiss a lot harsher, possessive, and demanding than the last. He ripples beneath your touch and growls with need against your lips. His hips thrust against your, forcing a heavy moan from you. “You don’t know how long I’ve been resisting this.” He murmurs against your lips. He pulls back and rips your clothes off you in one swift motion. You take off the ruined shirt and bra and he gazes at you stunned. “So, titillating…so alluring. His eyes meet yours, his eyes filled with lust and admiration. “You know that if I take you right here right now from this day forth you are mine, and I don’t like to share.”
You sit up and smirk. “I know I’ll be yours Niklaus, but just so you know I don’t like to share either.”
He smirks and brings you in for a kiss. You feel his hand grasp one of your breasts and You fall back against your pillows in utter pleasure. You arch into him into his touch as he kneads your breast. His lips go from your lips to your jawline and travel down your jawline until they are at your ear nibbling and kissing until you moan in complete pleasure as he finds your sweet spot. You shiver and moan against him. His lips go down your neck as you feel his hand travel down your stomach slightly teasing you. You feel him rip your shorts off along with your panties. He stares at your now nude body taking it all in, and you see him on the brink of control so lost in lust, and you only mirror his desires.
His lips on yours suddenly and lifting you into him. “You don’t know what you do me, and imp round to know that from this day forth you are all mine.” His voice vibrating all through his chest, and before you could reply he thrusts his shaft deep into your waiting wet folds. You yell out at the large intrusion, but your head reclines back in acceptance of all the pleasure it gives you. He curses under his breath and begins a slow, but violent pace. He slowly pulls out only to thrust harder and with such a force back inside you. If your bed frame would’ve been made from wood it would’ve crumbled. Your moans only drive him further as his hands on your ass only slam you harder against him. Although you could still tell that he was reluctant to fully let go of his control. He was fully inside you, but still so far from inside you.
“Harder!” you barely let out and he turns you to face the wall on your hand's knees as he settles behind you. This time there is no slow thrust. It is just pure, raw, uncontrolled desire fueling him. He guides your hips harder and faster in swift motions, your folds tightening quickly against his hard-immense cock.
“How’s that love?” he says against your ear. You moan out in response as you feel him back away and force your hips to meet his. His fingers dug deeper into your hips, and you're certain that you will have bruises in the morning. However, you're so close to release to care. “Yes, baby I feel your walls getting tighter against me. Give it to me darling. Scream my name.”
“Niklaus!” you yell in pleasure as you obey his request and recline your head back as your walls begin to clamp tighter around his cock until they finally seize it. He groans and reaches around you until he finds your bud. You scream out in utter pleasure as he continues to thrust and rub you. You let go and feel him release inside you as well. You both ride your climax until you both get down from your high.
He pulls you up against him and he kisses your shoulder. “You are so beautiful and mine.” He says as he places another soft kiss on your shoulder. He lays down with you in his arms, and you turn so you are laying your head on his chest. You look up at him as he looks down at your hips you follow his gaze and sure enough, there are bruises that his hands left. “I hurt you.” He says upset with himself
“No, you didn’t you did far from that. You completely pleased my desires for you.” You say with a smile and place a kiss on his cheek.
“I was putrefied that I’d hurt you in any way, but I’m glad I pleased the vixen tonight. He says with a smirk. “Who would’ve guessed that you are a vixen in bed.” He says as he kisses you again. “A vixen that’s all mine.”

Part I / Part II / Part III
Cami stepped back, eyes watery, “Oh my God-” As she hesitated, Klaus flinched, but she stepped forward again, to his relief. The past made Klaus feel vulnerable, as it was a time he felt the weakest, soft in public and private, yet treated like a beast. “No one should have to experience things like that...”
“Exactly what I think, darling.” A new voice, someone she’d never met before, stepped out, standing next to Klaus with the same teary eyes as the two of them shared. Her voice quivered as she spoke. “Exactly. What I think.”
“I- uh- Excuse me,” voice crack, “but just who are you?”
Klaus stepped forward, grabbing Cami again to bring her diving into another part of his memories, this time, showing a bit more than him chained up. More than him begging for Elijah’s help.
“Help me.” He looked into his brother’s eyes, pleading with every bit of hope he had left. However. All four Mikaelsons’ attention was drawn elsewhere. To someone Klaus knew all too well, to someone who had been turned with the rest of his family due to the fact that they were sweethearts and she was someone his mother, as impossible as it seemed at the moment, adored.
Y/n was screaming in agony, begging for his father to let him go. She ran up to the Mikaelsons that were present, eyes red and nose snotty. Niklaus could see the hurt miles away, as her voice flooded his mind. The hybrid took in her state of sorrow, slowly processing her presence.
Klaus did not ignore this. After Elijah refused to help him, he began shouting a different request, “Stop her! Don’t let her see this! Don’t let her get hurt! Brother, please! Please!”
Just as his father was about to smack Y/n away, Elijah obliged to his younger brother’s desperate wishes and grabbed her by her waist, pulling her back and gripping her tightly. She hit at him, over and over again, but it was no good. Esther was preventing her as well, with magic, but not for Klaus. It was so Niklaus couldn’t be helped from what they were going to do.
He looked to his beloved in pain, not just his own, but hers. Seeing her, merciless, fighting just to return to his arms and help free him. His heart broke a thousand times while he was forced by his chains and his, currently breaking, heart to watch as she flailed in Elijah’s arms, reaching out to her lover with one hand, while grabbing at Elijah to let her go with the other. His heart was in worse pain than his body was. The hybrid cried for her, for his father, for anyone, begging for help.
She cried for Klaus. Her voice was becoming hoarse after all of her screaming, yet she did not have the intention of giving up. Elijah continued to stand behind her, holding her back with regret and sympathy on his features. He was wounded enough that he ignored his brother’s cries, and to have Y/n involved would be too much. For Klaus, and for Elijah.
Y/n managed to escape, running to Mikael and jumping. She wrapped her arms around his neck from behind. He moved his shoulders roughly, causing her to thrash every which was he turned, then threw her off of him. Her head hit a rock and black filled her vision.
Camille was shown a new memory.
Y/n lied there, underwater, cursed by her future mother-in-law to remain unconscious until someone were to lift her out. Luckily, Klaus was allowed to, now that the deed had been done.
He crouched by the small hole in the ground, reaching and lifting her with one of his arms under her neck and the other wrapped around her soaked, however still clothed, body. He pulled her with him as he scooted from the water. Niklaus gazed at her face, eyes closed and looking peaceful...somewhat...angelic. He sobbed softly, pressing a kiss to her lips.
‘Please wake up, please wake up’.
The words were racing through his head. Maybe his mother didn’t actually put a temporary spell on her like she said she did. He was going to pull away, bury her wherever he thought appropriate until he could figure out a way to undo the spell, but he stopped. Somewhat by his own doing- but also somehow maybe not all his own.
A hand came to the back of his head, another clung onto his shirt, pushing him deeper into the kiss, the lips his met dancing with his.
They finally pulled away, and Y/n clung to Klaus. “You- you were being hurt-” she finally looked him in his face. His full face. She studied the look in his eyes as her expression softened, “Oh Nik... what did they do to you?”
He couldn’t bring himself to speak. She had been knocked out before they started the ritual, so she didn’t have to suffer seeing those parts, but he had to suffer living through them. Y/n’s eyes widened. Klaus knew by the look on her face that he had shared the memories with her without meaning...or rather, without conscious meaning.
His eyes met hers one more time before he roughly kissed her again, and rolled sideways, hovering over her. She tightened her hold in his shirt, fighting his tongue with her own. Y/n was still wet, covered in water droplets, from the hole that held her, but both originals could care less. The couple eagerly returned to the largely missed embraces of one another. Their need was not controlled by lust, rather, by love.
Y/n had been stashed underwater for an amount of time she had no knowledge of, as well as watched the love of her life plead for help, and Klaus had been through various ways of pain and torture while his mother and father put a block on the beast inside of him, not to mention struggling just as much as she did watching him as he watched her through a very similar view. They were in no mood for foreplay, nor quick and rough. They missed each other, needed each other, needed comfort, needed love.
When Camille's conscious returned to the present time, she let out a small sigh of relief, obviously from the thankfulness of not having to witness a sex scene from her friend’s memories with this mysterious woman she now guessed to be his lover.
“Oh... Oh my... Both of you...both of you experienced such horrible things... I can’t imagine how- how- how horrible, that was... No one should ever have to experience things like what Klaus had to, or what you had to.”
A small silence, accompanied by the never ceasing tension filled the room. The sadness was lingering, dancing to the water droplets splashing from one person’s face onto their skin, then leaping to the next face, listening to the same melancholy melody repeat form person to person.
“Ahem,” Klaus wiped away his tears, wiped the smile off his face, and returned to his point, “Unfortunately, it’s time for us to be taking our leave.” He nodded to his wife.
“Indeed. Alas, Camille, it’s time for us to say our goodbyes. It was a pleasure meeting you. Take care, alright?” Y/n smiled softly at the confused woman. She turned back to Klaus and kissed him lightly, before nodding and walking out of the room.
“What was that about?” Camille’s voice could be heard from the other side of the door. Obvious hurt and confusion intertwined with the feminine voice, her argument about wanting to help both Klaus and his wife filled Y/n’s ears as she waited by the door. The familiar masculine voice that joined in shortly was much more hushed, bringing comfort to Y/n while she rubbed her stomach softly, and was filled with similar emotions.
“Knowing what you do about this world will only get you killed.” He thought about Y/n and how joyful she was to meet Cami, about Kieran and his love and wishes for his niece and her safety, about the friendship he had grew over time with this mortal woman. It had been a bit since he had considered someone a friend. “And I cannot allow that.”
He cupped her cheek, forcing her to look into his eyes, “Leave New Orleans. Forget everything you’ve learned here today... Forget Y/n, and forget me.”
Tumblr media
She cuddled into his warmth, and closed her eyes.
“Love?”
“Yes, Nik?”
His arm came to hers and rubbed it up and down lazily, his nails were what touched her skin, so soothing that goosebumps made home on Y/n’s skin.
“When the little one comes, do you think I’d do what Elijah seems to believe I might?”
“I believe,” she opened her eyes and lifted herself, shifting over her husband and straddling him. She trailed kisses up his torso and stopped at his lips, not fully kissing him, but touching them as she spoke, “that you will do what is necessary. Even if that means killing off all vampires, or witches, so on. As long as you,” She moved to the right side of his face, pressing a kiss to his cheek, “me,” his left cheek, “and the baby,” finally, his lips. She whispered the final part before connecting their lips again and staying, giving him the control he waited ever so patiently for, “are safe.”
“I still can’t believe you’re pregnant-” He chuckled, his breath hitting her soft lips. They rolled over. Y/n wrapped her arms around Klaus’ neck.
“Magic gave me the opportunity and my heart told me to take it. Plus,” Y/n’s hand came to Klaus’ head, shoving his mouth back to hers for the-whatever-th-time that evening. She smiled against her husband’s lips, “you’re a good fuck.”

The Pact: Chapter 12
Tumblr media
It's been a week and everybody has been gathering all information they could get about Marcel, his friends, his rules, the witches, the werewolves and everything in between.
Klaus decided to reunite everyone in the safe house so he would have all the information at once without needing to take time to go around asking everyone about the information they had.
"Let's start this. Bonnie... I know you haven't been able to make many spells in New Orleans, reason why I let you use this place. But I also give you the mission to see what the witches were saying and thinking about everything."
"I haven't talk with them because I think that a new witch asking many questions would make people suspicious, but I did found something."
"And what is that?"
"I feel someone very powerful practicing magic in New Orleans near the French Quarter but without using my magic I can't say exactly where is it."
"That's impossible. Marcel has a strict rule when it comes to witches practicing magic."
"Yes. But we think about it, there must be a way he knows when someone is making a spell and can't be by having his vampires being everywhere because sometimes someone is practicing at home alone." Bonnie said.
"You have a theory..." Klaus concluded and Bonnie nodded.
"I think Marcel has a powerful witch on his side who is telling him when and where someone is doing a spell." Bonnie said.
"If that was the case, wouldn't we hear people talking about it?" Rebekah asked confused.
"He probably has this witch prisoner or something. I mean, he wants to know when someone is making a spell so he can kill them, right? A witch wouldn't do that. Witches stick together. And if this witch is as powerful as Bonnie thinks, Marcel won't want her walking around, so he can be able to manipulate her and make her do everything he wants." Kol said.
"That makes a lot of sense, brother." Elijah said.
"Yeah. I'm not just some hot guy." Kol smirked proudly, making people frown, roll their eyes and/or scoff.
"Danny... What do you have for me?" Klaus asked to one of his minions.
"Well, we have been noticing that Marcel has a thing for the bartender that works in the bar at Bourbon Street. Her name is Camille, but she prefers to be called Cami, she's human and she's studying phycology." Danny said.
"So, Marcellus is interested in a human... interesting. And is she aware of the supernatural?"
"She loves the tv show." One of the hybrids said, making some laugh, but then Klaus grunted, making them stop.
"No. She has no idea." Danny said.
"What else?" Klaus asked.
"In his inner circle, there's one dude he seems to be the one he trusts the most and who is very protective of Marcel. It's Diego. They are often seen hanging out and they seem very close." Noah said.
"Niklaus, shouldn't we start to write things down since it's becoming a lot of information?" Elijah asked.
"I could help you with that." Caroline said, making Klaus and Elijah look at her.
"Really, Love?"
"I took the liberty of gather all the information everyone got and put it in a binder." Caroline said and left the room, quickly appearing with a big while binder, divided by collar and with annotations, handing it to Klaus. "As you can see, I organized it by colors. There's first one just about Marcel, then it's about his inner circle, followed by the vampires who are trying to join the inner circle, organized alphabetic and also by the date they were turned, and the ones in the inner circle are organized by the date they entered the inner circle. Then there's a color where is the information about all the witches of New Orleans, followed by their families, with notes of witches who lost relatives because of Marcel's rules. Then there's a color for the werewolves, which is organized by hierarchy and their friendships. In there it's the information we were able to collect about them and their feelings about Marcel's way of ruling New Orleans. There's also a color for the humans aware of the supernatural world and in the end I designed a scheme that sums up the relation between the factions."
"This is quite impressive, love." Klaus smirked proudly, loving how Caroline was so efficient, then he looked at everyone and said. "Alright. You will spread, see what more you can find out. Bonnie and Kol can stay here to see if there's a Spell our Bennett witch can use to get things moving. Elijah and Stefan, take care of Elena and Rebekah and don't let Rebekah be noticed back in New Orleans. Caroline, we have to go to the Bayou."
***
Klaus took Caroline to a bar in the Bayou, waiting to see the alpha of the werewolves from the Bayou appear to see what kind of alpha he is and what he thinks about Marcel.
"He might not even appear, Klaus..." Caroline whispered and Klaus gave her a look, making her roll her eyes and say. "Nicholas, he might not come here all that often."
"We can't exactly go to where they live, love." Klaus whispered and noticed the alpha appearing in the bar. "He is here."
"You say the sweetest things, Nicholas Morgan." Caroline said and kissed Klaus.
"I'm so tired of Marcel thinking that because we are werewolves we are a danger to New Orleans. I mean, we could live there and come here to the full moons." One werewolf said. "We should do something."
"No. He has been doing this for years. Everyone who tries to go against him, gets dead. I mean, it take a witch to make a small spell for him to kill her right away." The alpha said.
Klaus and Caroline were listening to the conversation while they make out, but Caroline broke the kiss when felt someone walking over to them, while Klaus kissed her neck.
"Hey! I came here to ask if you want some water, a piece of cake or something. And also to inform you that we have a policy about no sex in the bar. We do let people break it when they are in bathrooms but we can just accept you having sex in here... where people are eating." The waiter said.
"We're sorry. It's our honeymoon and we just can't keep our hands off each other." Caroline smiled, blushing.
"How can a man control himself when is around the most beautiful woman in the world?" Klaus groaned, but was more him thinking to himself instead of acting for the waiter.
"I'll get you some water." The waiter said and left.
Not long after that the alpha left and so did they.
"What's next?" Caroline asked, as she tried to look she was cool after their hot making out session.
"Home." Klaus said and mentally added 'To take a cold shower.'
to be continued...

The Worst (and Best) Part of The Originals 4x11 and 4x12
I was late on 4x11 so I put them together.
Note: If you like Hayley, Elijah, Freya, Davina, Kolvina, Freya/Keelin. or Haylijah and don’t care to hear counter opinions and that makes you aggressive and mean then this isn’t something you’re interested in, I’m going to have to ask you to move along :D I’m entitled to my opinions as you are yours. Any aggression targeted at me because I don’t ship what you ship or like who you like will be treated with demeaning responses.
You have been warned.
Side Note: I have nothing against any of the actors (or the writers), these are solely my opinions, which I’m entitled to have.
If you have anything to include, feel free to add your own thoughts.
I’m putting this under a Read More so people who don’t want to see this doesn’t have to.
1. I still feel bringing Davina back is a weak ass retcon and I really don’t care about her living again. Booooring. Oooh Davina’s going to suffer if the Hollow dies? Still don’t care about Davina being back. Honestly, she’s just becoming more and more of a crappy remake of Bonnie. I mean, Bonnie had justified anger. Davina’s angry at the world and is quickly killing any sympathy that I’ve had for her.
2. Oh, look, Haylijah bullshit. Here comes me not caring again. Last scene we saw of them was her being afraid of him. Which is bullshit in itself but whatever.
3. Oh, Elijah’s been gone for a few days and the pendant can’t hold Elijah. It held Finn for how long before he came back? But Elijah’s been in for a day, if that, and it can’t hold him. Lemme call bullshit. That’s some straight up bullshit. Honestly, I think we need a bit of a break from Elijah and his bullshit. If anything, we should have been seeing him dealing with being in the pendant but no. It was breaking (which was stupid but whatever).
4. Calling Kol to help with the totem when he has said totem. That’s not cliche or anything at all. The characters don’t know that, but I’m sorry, the writers should know better.
5. Rebekah continues to be the best and I love her. Queen Rebekah deserves the best and she’s coming correct with the lines this season.
6. This show rides Hayley’s nonexistent dick so hard sometimes. It’s exhausting me.
7. “Compel her a nanny”. Fuck. You. Freya.
8. “I can’t take a little girl’s mother”. But you can take her father. Please, shut the fuck up, Davina. Your double standards are bullshit. You had shitty parents and you should be more inclined to appreciate someone trying to be better for their kid, something your parents didn’t do. But, no, you tried to justifying killing Klaus even though he had seldom to do with your death. But you’re cool with Hayley the, what, two minutes you spent with her. Why does everyone seem to like Hayley even though she has a shitty personality? Seriously. Oh, right. She a huge Mary Sue, that’s why. Everyone loves her, even though she does some terrible shit and tries to justify it. She killed 12 of her friends for a fucking flash drive, but she’s somehow a lot more reliable than Klaus and basically anyone else. Okay. Sure.
9. YOU’RE GOING TO USE YOUR NIECE TO FUCKING UNLINK YOUR GIRLFRIEND FROM THE HOLLOW ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! This Kolvina bullshit is making me so unbelievably sick. Davina being the center of his universe after knowing and dating her for a few months (if that) and five years later he’s obsessing over her. What the hell is so special about her? And using her as Kol’s redemption is total bullshit. After him bitching about how his family excludes him, how am I suppose to feel sympathy when he pulls shit like that?
10. Hayley and Freya, two people I don’t give a shit about. Yay, that means I can ignore this. Cause fuck these two. Fuck these two people in particular. Both of them make me sick.
11. Oh, look how quick they were put out of commission. That’s so cute. And you thought you were just going to get the drop on the Hollow.
12. “I’m not suppose to do magic with strangers” DAMNNNNNNN!! Hope done told you Kol. (Note: I love Kol Mikaelson. I just don’t like Kolvina or Davina). Get some ice for that burrrrrrrrn.
13. Kol betrayed Klaus and Klaus is now pissed off. God damn. I want to know what he was expecting.
14. “Is he [Elijah] good to you?” Guess what? I DON’T CARE! All the shits I give, Hayley isn’t one of them. Honestly, I appreciated her having a personality but it’s also being very high and mighty and going against what she’s done in the past. I’m sorry, but there is nothing... nothing... That could have happened in those five years that could justify her getting on an even higher horse than she was already on.
15. Corrupting a memory of Jackson. I wasn’t expecting that, god damn. Good job, Hollow. I approve, despite the fact that you’re not really even vaguely threatening when you speak.
16. Guess who’s back, back, back, back again, gain, gain. Jack is back, back, back. And he’s kicking Hayley’s ass.
17. Freya and Keelin is still lackluster for me. Mostly, because Keelin deserves better. And it feels kind of forced. I don’t know. Maybe the whole Stockholm Syndrome isn’t a winning trope for me. Now I know she’s not being held hostage anymore but that doesn’t change what a raging bitch Freya was. Why does the show think that to be a strong, female character that means you have to be the hugest bitch in the universe.
18. Kol and his reasons. Honestly, you’re betraying your family when giving them a bit of a heads up would have helped immensely. Klaus probably wouldn’t be as pissed. But again, season 2 he was bitching about how he was trusted or treated like a part of the family but then he turns around and does this for someone he’s only known for a little over five years.
19. I stop paying attention with Davina on screen. It’s so I don’t start screaming and so this list won’t devolve into only cuss words.
20. Klaus is right and he doesn’t owe Davina shit. Especially after she tried to justify killing him. Fuck her. “But she was killed over him” Yeah, well, Klaus didn’t kill her. He’s not the one who killed her and, like I said before, Elijah would have been good enough to be killed instead but that was a personal vendetta against Klaus. But Davina gets a happy ending even though she doesn’t really deserve it. “But she died” Okay? And? How many times did Bonnie die and she still got fucked over? The female characters on this show just get away with too much shit and it makes me sick.
21. Kol got to me. And I feel for him, but I honestly can’t feel for Davina. I love Kol and his heart breaking makes me hurt, but I really just don’t like Davina and how she’s forgiven for the things she does.
22. Why was Hayley afraid of Elijah again? Fucking psycho murder bitch right there. Hayley goes over kill and she tore people limb from limb but she’s afraid of Elijah. Hey, I want Haylijah dead as much as the next anti Haylijah person, but when shit don’t make sense, I gotta call that out. Gafuck yourself, Hayley Marshall.
23. Rebekah/Marcel feels. <3 I still love them so.
24. Kolvina still is something that makes me feel numb in this show. Neither of them really suffered enough to warrant a happy ending. The ancestors wanted to destroy Davina’s soul and yet somehow she survived that. Whatever. Just... what the fuck ever.
25. Did anyone else notice that Davina didn’t even try to go and see Marcel before just running off with Kol? Where’s that love you claimed that you had for him? This just proves to me how ungrateful Davina is. Am I really going to have to make an anti list for her? It’s bad enough I gotta do it for Hayley, but now her? This just proves that Cami is the best non-Mikaelson woman and this godforsaken show. When she turned into a vampire sure she was a royal bitch, but at least she wasn’t fucking ungrateful.
26. Another Hayley scene that I don’t give a damn about. -insert me whistling-
27. Possessed Hope. Never would have guessed it! (sarcasm).
28. Vincent is finally back which makes this episode better than the last two. Proof that Vincent makes everything better is that I actually am getting hyped for this episode. Woooooo!
29. Elijah throwing a fit over Hayley. I only have one thing to say to Elijah: Katherine.
30. Hayley not talking to Elijah because? Oh, she’s scared of him. Bitch, get over yourself.
31. Rebekah<3 My love for her is endless and god I hope some goodness comes to her, please.
32. Keelin is too good for Freya. Not even a sex scene can mend that. Freya is just a fucking horrible person and I can’t take it and she doesn’t deserve a relationship or need one for that matter. The thought of her being romantic with anyone is enough to make me want to spit acid.
33. Hayley always wants to demand attention even if there are pressing matters. This has not changed at all in the last five years.
34. Hayley running away from Elijah. Down with Haylijah! Down with Haylijah!
35. Hayley saw monster!Elijah and I’m just like bitch... You’ve done some horrible shit. Get off your high horse.
36. Freya’s death speech. She’s tethered to Klaus. They never broke her immortality bullshit so...? What the hell is she talking about? Her immortality never stopped. She’s still immortal. That’s why Dahlia tethered herself to Klaus, so she wouldn’t have to sleep to remain immortal. Freya is still immortal. Did the writers forget about that or something?
37. “I want you to take Hayley and Hope away from this”. You’re in no position to be telling anyone anything. Especially not Hope. You are not Hope’s father and it pisses me off when he acts like it. Get the fuck out of here.
38. If Vincent stays dead, I riot.
39. Freya/Keelin is still just so half assed to me. At least that’s how I feel...
40. Hayley gets impaled but lemme guess the Hollow “somehow” missed her heart and she’s still alive.... Told ya.
41.  Vincent. Haaa! Bitch! :D I love Vincent.<3
42. Klaus talking to Hope<3
43. Hayley is invoking my rage towards her again.
Tumblr media
Well, that’s it for now. Hope you enjoyed<3
