In a non-despair au(no kg) how do you think beni and kanata would interact?

First and foremost, i feel like Kanata and Hamato's roles on her life would sorta switch around?

Since in a world where the despairs aren't a thing and the tragedy never happened he would have remained in college and become an architect which would make him pretty busy, so he'd really just visit the family every so often instead of being with Beni basically all the time through her childhood. So they definitely wouldn't be as close to one another as they are in the tragedy timeline and Beni would have grown up close to Kanata instead.

While she does have her work as a surgeon and studies in hope's peak i think Kanata would still take time of her day to go talk to her sister and ask how was her day at school and how she's doing, Beni was a very curious kid so i imagine she would sneak into Kanata's room while she's reading/studying and sit beside her. I also feel like in this scenario she would know Kinji too? He was friends with Kanata and liked taking care of the kids from his church so i imagine Kanata would bring him to meet her sister.

As she grows older they'd have longer, more meaningful conversation where they sorta just talk for hours and hours switching from one topic to another. I feel like Beni would ask Kanata for guidance whenever she's struggling with something, also think Kanata would try to help her with her anger issues a bit, tho obviously she wouldn't want Beni to bottle up her emotions or anything.

But the main thing that would change here is that Beni wouldn't have become a medical professional, yeah, she'd still admired her sister a lot but it's Kanata's absence in her life in the tragedy timeline and the fact that she hardly recalls how she was like that made Benitsuru want to become like her as much as she did. So with Kanata around she would have become some kind of historian instead, since that's something she has a real passion for.

#it's not like Beni dislikes medicine or anything #she's just that person that has something else as her main interest in life but went onto develop a career that had nothing to do with it #for one reason or another #so studying world history (documenting the tragedy) is just a hobby of hers #ties into why she goes out of her way to support Akira in her carrer even tho Beni doesn't like music that much #seeing her gf be able to put all her time and effort into something she genuinely adores doing makes her happy #when Akira's first big concert happened she gave Beni (and her family too) tickets to go see it #without pressuring he much since she knows Beni doesn't like loud places. she had in mind that he probably wouldn't go #but wanted her to have the ticket anyway #tho she did end up going. even if her head felt like it was about to explode by the end Beni wanted to be there for Akira's proper debut #it's the only show of her's she's ever gone to #dra #danganronpa another #Benitsuru ando #Kanata Inori #Hamato Ando #Kinji Uehara #oc #original character #hyena ramblings

Anyway. 150 days left until I see TMBG.

#i already counted down 150 days. and 100 days left until i see them before #but the tour was postponed a full year so we're doing this again #it was going to be my first 'proper' concert but due to the delay i got the chance to already go to two other concerts earlier this year #they were both amazing and exactly the type of thing that's been missing in my life before as it turns out #i'm very glad i went and they really made me even more excited for this upcoming one #because now i can kind of imagine what it might look like #just seeing all these people with their band shirts was such an amazing moment #i can't really imagine seeing dozens of people in tmbg shirts even though it IS going to happen #and that's mostly because i have met ONE tmbg fan in real life #and overall it's incredible how completely unheard of they seem to be where i live #all those music store sellers who are like 'who???' when i ask them about tmbg #at least there was this one guy who not only knew who sparks are #but also told me all about annette and who plays in it and where to watch it #so yeah. still feels far away but maybe i can already start getting excited again. this time it's gotta happen #and my london trip!! and first plane flight!! it's gonna be so fun #i've been waiting for this for a year and a half already auughhhh #when the time for my dream trip finally arrives i won't be shutting up about it for even a day #goosepost

A question for my concert going friends: how do you feel about artists/venues doing priority entry? As in early entry, not disabled etc. Personally I really dislike it, as it pushes that idea that you can only be a "real fan" if you have enough money to do so. And "real/better" fans are always perceived as the ones at the front or with the best merch.

I'm probably just bitter as I don't have the money to be able to do priority entry lol, but I think it is just generally unfair, and I really wish more artists would stop doing it. Also if you're in the UK you probably know how the O2 venues work, and I just think thats ridiculous.

#I posted this on Facebook but I feel like people will be more honest here #as someone who LOVES being by the barrier at a concert #that shit is EARNED #its so heartbreaking when you've queued for hours and hours #just to see people who've paid more arrive at doors and get in before you #and yes you could say that working extra hours counts as earning that spot too #as it means you can pay for the priority entry etc #but queuing those few hours is just so much more accessible for most #and easier than picking up extra shifts imo #of course its never going to be 100% fair #but I just wish more artists and venues would see how hurtful having early entry is #have VIP and shit thats cool #but people who cant afford that still deserve to see their favourite band up close yk?#instead of having to stand behind all the “proper fans”#I have physically been pushed backwards because of this #because I was second row and I made the mistake of telling someone that I was regular GA #the person behind me had paid for VIP and acted like I was not allowed to be in front of her #even tho I got to my space before she was there #no one is entitled to be at the front #I have arrived at doors and still gotten second row #I've also arrived 4 hours early and not gotten the front row #but I wish I had gotten it fairly #instead of having to pay more #wow that was a rant #I have said my piece #I would love to know your opinions on this

going to be back in my home state seeing harry with a friend in just six days now.....

so so so tempted to dye my hair rn

#I have so much to do today but I really wanna #do I want to deal with the upkeep of semi permanent dye so that I can at least have it for the concert? not really #but I also want dyed hair again #maybe I’ll use my leftover red and just do money pieces #maybe a little peekaboo. idk #my hair’s too long now to do my whole head for sure and a full peekaboo will get red dye on every piece of clothing I own #so money pieces seems like a good compromise #the problem is this red stains pretty bad even after the proper colour has washed out #so even when it’s not red anymore. It’s still kinda red #so I may be stuck with weird off colour money pieces until I dye my hair fully again
