Daymon comments: ‘Haiji is such a weird name, how do you write it?’

Okay now I’m curious about the kanji and meanings, let’s see-

[His given name, "Haiji "(灰慈) means something along the lines of "mercy of the ashes (i.e. of a deceased's)" - somewhat matching his color scheme. It may also be reflecting his motive in creating The Resistance was to avenge the death of his father.]

This puts me in mind of a quote from ME3- "stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters". Haiji himself is not a merciful character in the least, and he is very much ‘ends justify the means’ towards the end. So just eyeballing that, the meaning seems to be something along the lines of ‘let the ashes give mercy, because I won’t’.

That or, the ‘mercy’ part is uhhhhh, ‘ironic’. To put it... uh... nicely.

(This secondary meaning is one I happened upon the first time, but I’m leaving my initial thought process under the cut for your discretion. It’s not gonna be pretty. Consider yourself warned.)

Hiya Indie!! A questiom for Indie TMNT that occured to me outta nowhere... what kind of voices do you think they would have? Like, I noticed every iteration have very different "sounds" to all the turtles, so I was wondering!! Any specific VAs in mind, or just general ideas?

Michelangelo: Robbie Daymon

April O’Neil: Ashley Johnson

Casey Jones: Marc Thompson or Jason Ritter

The Shredder: Eric Bauza

Karai: Mae Whitman

These are just samples from various characters these people have voiced before to help give you an idea of what they sound like in my head, so I imagine they would have a different performance playing these characters.

Leonardo talks more naturally than Rengoku, Raph has a light Brooklyn accent, Mikey talks like a surfer dude, April sounds less like a child and more like a woman(kinda like 03 April), and Karai is a little more serious sounding.

In the cases where I put two voices it’s because I like both, so Donnie in my head sounds like a mix of both of the voice actors I chose, as in like a combination of their speech patterns and mannerisms.

Though in the case of Casey Jones, I do like both of the voice actor’s voices, but I have a major bias towards Casey Jones having a heavy Brooklyn accent much like 03 Casey.

I’ll probably change my mind again, but for now this is what I’m happy with! Many of these choices were actually suggested by BasketballCam2 on Deviant Art, so credit to them for finding these!

"Ai" (愛) is the Japanese word for love. I can't envision a better word for her tbh.

Even though she and other voice actors have expressed since last year that AI can misrepresent/smear someone and voicing in character without permission from license holder can land them in legal trouble (as shown by Hoyoverse warning Alejandro Saab to take down his Cyno/Tighnari shipping music video) not to mention the danger it poses to their profession...

Which... the original uploader now have already took down their video, at her request but...

Multiple people then uploaded it in their YouTube channels (despite the original uploader also asking them to take it down) as a revenge for her....

In Reverberate AU, will Daymon go looking for Crayne to kill him in the most brutal way possible?

Let's see, Crayne would be mid-teens right now, since he's around 23-24 in Resonant. That's killable by Daemon's standards! If he tracks down a teenaged Crayne, I think he kills him cleanly/quickly. This kid hasn't done anything yet to be worthy of the other's punishment, but he does need to die in case he ever does.

If Crayne is closer to his age in Resonant by the time he tracks him down, Daemon might feel the urge to make him hurt a little before the end.

But I do think he goes looking when the twins are a little bit older, and sends out feelers even earlier--especially if he secures the master of whisperers council position like he's considered.

I kindaa want to change my username for my SCP wikidot account to Daymon Rocker.

No, it’s not anything close to my real name, Daymon I found on a random names list and Rocker is inspired by Norman Rockwell’s surname. But the thing is you can only change your user twice on wikidot, so I’m kinda iffy.

Oh and people would automatically assume I’m a male I presume. ‘Daymon’ (atleast where I’m from) is predominately male.

But I like the pseudo, Daymon brings to my mind the sun. Rocker reminds me of Norman Rockwell, along with an image of a rockstar.
