So I've been trying to redraw Bass' X-Dive artwork in my style, and I'm finally done! I had a lot of fun with this. (Also, to all the artists who I've seen say that they hate drawing this idiot's (/pos) helmet: I get it now.) Reference image and side-by-side comparison under the cut:

I learned a lot while doing this piece (for example, highlights are fun. I should draw them more often), but I know I still have a long way to go in learning how to draw. I hope I can post more art in the future!

Tried doing another traditional piece done entirely with pencil & pen crosshatchshading. But this time the drawings in question feature the characters from Jack Stauber’s animated short OPAL.

This short means a lot to me, so I was destined to draw fanart for it at some point. The overall theme about wanting to be seen really hits close to home. 🖤
