Well, around the time I saw that, I was also thinking of how CC!Shadow Man would react to Zero's death in X5, assuming that the former had hypothetically lived to that point. Tried doing another traditional piece done entirely with pencil & pen crosshatchshading. But this time the drawings in question feature the characters from Jack Stauber’s animated short OPAL.

This short means a lot to me, so I was destined to draw fanart for it at some point. The overall theme about wanting to be seen really hits close to home. 🖤
