You know that art trend that was going around a while ago of people redrawing that painting of Ivan the Terrible holding his dying son with different characters? Well, around the time I saw that, I was also thinking of how CC!Shadow Man would react to Zero's death in X5, assuming that the former had hypothetically lived to that point. One thing led to another, and next thing you know, I bring you this several months later (content warning for robot gore under the cut):

Silly doodle where Tom is a Gaunt-raised first year who becomes totally obsessed with edgy 4th year Slytherin Harry- hopefully Merope still has that love potion recipe stashed somewhere!! <3

Bonus note; the other Slytherins are under the impression Tom is a pure blood... And that he is the product of very fucked up incest :3c poor Tommy can't decide if beating the "my uncle raped my mum" allegations is worth admitting he's also a half blood

So I've been trying to redraw Bass' X-Dive artwork in my style, and I'm finally done! I had a lot of fun with this. (Also, to all the artists who I've seen say that they hate drawing this idiot's (/pos) helmet: I get it now.) Reference image and side-by-side comparison under the cut:

I learned a lot while doing this piece (for example, highlights are fun. I should draw them more often), but I know I still have a long way to go in learning how to draw. I hope I can post more art in the future!

Tried doing another traditional piece done entirely with pencil & pen crosshatchshading. But this time the drawings in question feature the characters from Jack Stauber’s animated short OPAL.

This short means a lot to me, so I was destined to draw fanart for it at some point. The overall theme about wanting to be seen really hits close to home. 🖤
