#flight rising#mem draws#skydancer#specifically requested more snoot than beak . and the opal gene to show up as a tear#aka checking off many of my own aesthetic tastes#i will be honest i keep spending more time on these recent commissions than i am being paid for#i feel bad in the sense that it might seem unfair to past commissioners although i hope they don't see it that way#i'm mostly considering it a holiday gift to me..... because i genuinely love to paint and my new job is making my soul shrivel and die#so it's nice to do stuff on the weekends that i actually care about
