MK was born a star

So consider this as I have yet to see someone made this theory or if someone did then I want to bring it up to light again-

What if MK was a fallen star? Hear me out, we get plenty of scenes where MK fall so many times throughout the show that my red flag starts waving at the implication. There are two noticeable scenes that spikes my inspiration to create this theory:

From (2x00 - Revenge of the Spider Queen) to (4x00 - The Emperor's Wrath)

And he's constantly saved either by one of his gang or monkey king himself. What if it's implied that he might have fallen off from up above somewhere and landed on flower fruit mountain wherein he was born, then he continues his journey down to megapolis (probably literally tumbling over hence was covered in mud in that one shot lol) and that's where he met Pigsy

If let's say we are going to follow the Goddess Nüwa theory that MK was made from her

In this scenario, she was making a clay molding of a little monkey because it was her duty to keep creating and it slipped off from her fingers that it fell right off from her place. Here's my evidence:

We get a cutscene of a clay molded lion hitting the floor which could possibly represent Azure Lion that he fell from grace when the gang defeated him or when he got the powers from the Jade Emperor but this could also be a direct representation of MK falling off from his place up above but in a sad tragedy, it broke in half which pops out little MK - I also think it ties in his amnesia where he couldn't remember where he was from or his parents are.

And that's where the end of my theory goes. I have so many things I wanted to add but I need to form my thoughts before publishing them cuz it's a mess-

couldn’t sleep last night so i was watching some of those boss vs boss videos and there was a “can the bosses raid the haligtree” video. they had to make their way across loretta’s arena and kill a bunch of enemies and bosses. first a rot flower, then triple crystalians, then loretta, then a rot avatar, then duo clean rot knights, and finally malenia. only two managed to get to malenia and only malenia herself was able to clear the whole thing (no surprise there).

but the most fascinating one was godrick. dude got killed by the flower 😐

I’m like 3 away from the super star achievement and I would really like to obtain it (for both the measly +10 title bonus and so I can stop terrorizing the normal co op rooms) but this mission has become a Herculean task because 1) someone disconnects & all 5 players need to be there for someone to get superstar 2) my team loses which means I can only get ace or 3) im in a room with other people who have no business being there and it just becomes a fight for mvp

since last night and all through the day someone has been going over every chapter of my yuri on ice time travel fic and commenting their thoughts on every. single. chapter. (which i love deeply)

im getting kind of anxious because that fic is BEYOND abandoned and i'm going to feel SO bad when they get to the end and realize it's been SEVEN YEARS since it last updated.

and im struggling enough to work on the bg3 fic but here i go pressuring myself to try and at least write a farewell summary chapter to explain the abandonment and give a rough explanation of what was going to happen.

It’s interesting having been around this fandom for over two decades now and seeing so much art of Shadow grieving over Maria still. My brain is in parts over this XD

On the one hand, Shadow is more than just his grief. Though Maria and his tie to her does influence his decisions and motivations, it’s not the only thing in existence that drives him anymore.

On the other... I don’t think what Shadow did at the end of ShTH WAS actually letting go. I think that was a rushed attempt to chill his emotions and cut that part of him away from himself. Grief doesn’t work like that though. You have to go through it.

(In which case, to the above points... of course he’d then still be obsessing over it. The child needs therapy. We all agree on this.)

Lastly, and like, the actual real-world thing, the part that brings me joy in this, is that new fans to Sonic who didn’t know what Shadow’s backstory was now get to experience it fresh. You get to learn about Maria dying in the good year 2023. In fact, you may get to see it on film if the 3rd Sonic Movie has the nerve and clearance to show it!

And I’m excited! It’s a gut-wrenching moment! Now you get to suffer with the rest of us in the Knowingヽ(o＾▽＾o)ノ
