Brief desc. : Joey Flowers is a villain who has the ability to shoot out flowers from her bare hands, as well as the power to manipulate the growth of already existing flowers. She's bubbly, enthusiastic, but a bit absent-minded at times, especially when she sees a really pretty flower she can "ooohhhh" and "ahhh" at. But don't be tricked by her exterior- she's incredibly clever and knows how to get out of (almost) any situation she finds herself in!

Joey Flowers also has "moves" and she likes to name them (like the Butcher). I'm still coming up with her moves but one of them is called "Flowering Thorns" and it's basically her using her flower powers to create a sword made out of a thorny rose.

She inherited her flower-abilities from her mother's side of the family, and became a villain to continue the long line of supervillains from her father's side.

She doesn't have a villain name, she just uses her actual name.

For her word-related gimmick, she often uses "flowery" language (pun intended) which makes it hard for others to understand her at times.

Joey's weaknesses include : flowers being harmed/destroyed, being easily distracted.

WELL the MOST important headcanon is that they ALWAYS go on a trip. except for a few exceptions early on (such as their ninth anniversary!!) they alwaayyys go on a trip. one of their love languages is TRAVEL!!!! they love exploring together and their anniversary is such a perfect reason to do so 🤧 what better way to celebrate their greatest adventure (MARRIAGE) than by going on another adventure!!!!

adam’s gift is pretty much always a couple new outfits for both of them, generally to be worn on their trip. he always does his research and makes sure it’ll match the cultural attire and be comfortable in the climate — while still having their own signature french flair✨✨✨

belle usually waits until they’re ON the trip to find a gift for adam. she likes to find some kind of knickknack or trinket or piece of jewelry (adam collects rings) made by any street artist that they encounter. this tradition actually started waaayy back when they were courting !!! the first time belle and adam were apart for a WEEK (how did they even survive?🤧) when belle went to an art market with her father out of town. she came back with a special little gift for adam and he loved it so much. (i shan’t say what the gift is. the fic must be read😌✨🫶)

adam also generally always gifts her some jewelry (she’s not BIG on jewelry but adam’s learned her taste over the years. and earrings are always a safe bet!!) or a book or journal or sometimes a fancy tool or something to do with horse care (sort of just depends on where they are) when they’re abroad as well.

they’re usually gone about a week, give or take some days depending on how old their children are. when they’re little they’re gone for less, of course! once the kids are teenagers, though, they definitely start going for longer shdksjdk. never more than like. 3 weeks. maybe even the whole month of september?? but. what can i say? they love going places <3

because the king and queen are so known for doing this, the allied kingdoms/governments generally prepare for their arrival and there’s usually some kind of ball/reception. this varies from place to place (like, it’s gonna be a different vibe visiting england versus visiting india, ya know) (AND ALSO no i do not care about the actual history of french alliances and ownership and all that. i majored in history which means i can say whatever i want. this is a GOOD universe and everything’s fine 💖)

anyway even though they’re gone for a whole WHILE sometimes, obviously one of those days is their Actual anniversary. so every trip, wherever they are on the 24th, they spend it alone, just the two of them. there’ll be a ball that evening, but during the day they’re rather secluded. they go explore off the beaten path (they even dress in drab to disguise themselves — it’s amazing what adam will do when he’s following beautiful wife !! his adventure girl !!!!!) and they just BE together. they eat good food (they LOVE trying new food!!!), they try new drinks, they listen to new kinds of music in the streets or the pubs (and definitely dance to it). they find quiet trails and secret parts of nature, all just for them.

and they talk and talk and talk. they make each other laugh and belle will usually bring one of their favorite poetry books and they’ll take turns reading to each other. if there are wildflowers around, belle will absolutely be putting flowers in her husband’s hair!! ahh. they just exist. for one day a year, they aren’t the king and queen. they’re just adam and belle.

(let it be noted that this DOES drive their royal guards crazy. every year the captain is like “okay DON’T let them sneak out this time.” and every year, queen belle finds a way to slip out with her husband, and not a soul notices until it’s far too late. it’s veryyyy funny.)

and then, when the night comes, they manage to sneak back in (it’s crazy. it’s like. they could literally be assassins. but no one’s as clever as queen belle 😉) and they’re laughing (definitely tipsy on those drinks i mentioned earlier) and lumière and plumette both roll their eyes as they get their RIDICULOUS besties back into their fancy attire. and they wonder WHY they put up with these shenanigans year after year🙄💖

but FINALLY 😎 it’s party time!!!! the ball is always magnificent and adam and belle are ALWAYS the last ones on the dance floor. they dance and dance and dance, and not a soul in the crowd has to wonder for even a moment why these two love each other so much. they’re made for one another. it’s a tale as old as time🥹

chan seems like the type to get one or two sentimental ones. he wants them to have meaning, wants them to be personal and so he wants them in places that might not be on full display because they're for him, not for anyone else

minho gets silly teeny tiny little ones kind of scattered everywhere. a little cat paw on his ankle, a music note on his inner arm, something silly written in his mom's handwriting on the inside of his wrist. so subtle that you might not notice

changbin is more of a piercing guy imo but if he did get one he'd get a large statement piece on his calf or something. something bold and really nicely detailed, maybe something inspired by one of their songs (top maybe...)

hyunjin deeefinitely would have some really pretty shit. lovely roses and flowers and butterflies and patterns swirling around his arms and around his side, something just so pretty that you have to do a double take when you see it

jisung also gets silly little ones like minho but bigger and sillier somehow. gets tattoos on a dare or on a whim with little to no thought put behind it but he loves them all the same. has no regrets.

felix has a few that he gets years apart because he just thinks waaaay too long on each one. second guesses each one, needs to make sure the details are absolutely perfect. he definitely has an australia themed one on his ribcage

seungmin doesn't have tattoos. this hurts me but he doesn't. he once got a fake one on his neck to trick everyone into thinking he got one and no one believed him.

jeongin has some lovely geometric shapes on his back. starting on one shoulder sweeping down to his spine, something most people don't really get to see even if it's pretty big. he just has the one though, he doesn't really need more

Wich witch introduction was your favorite?

Ohhh! What a good question! I suppose a good build up is always what I want for a witch. Some of them are hard since they just appear suddenly like Gisela or Roberta...

I think Elly is a great one. I adore her labyrinth's introduction, especially in the movie version. You just see blobs of blue and then these skeleton horses passing by behind Madoka. Though I prefer the music in the tv version, i think a darker tone suits it better (contrary to charlotte's new music which i think fits very well). And the pan of her endless labyrinth is great. It's pretty memorable

I think Oktavia's is great mostly because there's a lot of emotional weight to it all. I mean, it feels the whole middle of the anime is leading up to this moment. Sayaka's transformation scene is so good, especially with the iconic line. I love how you don't really see all of her in her first labyrinth as she's got her cape over her arms, it's like she levels up before the second fight. And the sweeping scenery as Kyoko and Madoka enter her boss room, mimicking a train rushing by, is amazing as you're hit with the orchestra. I'm so glad so much effort is put into her <3 I think her timeline 3 appearance is good too, sadly she doesn't get any build up but I think the rock concert theme with the lights, stage and backup dancers helps the brief moment be cool enough

I think Izabel's introduction is pretty unique and cool, we get a one time view of what it's like for a civilian to run into a labyrinth. I think the build up is great but the payoff of Izabel being such a stationary boss and how she's killed so quickly isn't very exciting... it feels a little wasted but the build up is still good

I have complicated feelings about Kriemhild. I think her first appearance is pretty dull. Cool, but after seeing Sayaka's transformation it's nowhere near as good. I like ultimate kriemhild, of course. Her appearance is amazing and so different to anything we've seen up to it but of course it's very quick and brief. I think my favourite appearance of hers is in timeline 4 where she's this colossal giant in the background and in the movie version you get a thud as her name appears on screen. I love it, it's so subtle as she never does anything but you already know her power.

Walpurgisnacht is great and she earns it. She's built up the entire anime goddamnit! (well on the tv version at least). Homura's room, the storm warnings, the familiar parade, it's all amazing and you, me and she knows it. The fact that we see the cool and unbeatable Homura struggle against her is also amazing, she barely flinches and always laughs. She's amazingly imposing <3

Do these count, do they not? Well... I think the introductions to Quitterie and Itzli are good. They're unique witches hidden at the end of dungeons with lots of floors and they just come out of nowhere! I'm sure if I was playing portable blind I would be amazed

But ooohhhh, ohhh of course my favourite witch introduction, hands down, HANDS down, so down they're on the floor, the prize goes to Homulilly by beloved. Everything leading up to it is golden, the flower fields scene, the flaming bus, 'when did i become a witch?' the bit where Homura interrogates Kyubey 'i am anything but happy'/'this is not the happiness i asked for', the scene where Homura sees Madoka fall off the chair, the countdown ala Walpurgisnacht, then you're blessed by 'theatre of a witch' as Homulilly and a literal entire army appears. It's all beautiful and stunning. It's my favourite part of Rebellion absolutely, no contest, its probably my favourite part of madoka magica at all (well, including the fight too)

A special addition for Plejaden von Asunaro, the only spin off witch I could think of with a good introduction. I love the scene where she kills Mirai, the panelling and art is beautiful

There are a few little details that bothered me a little, and it wasn't as exciting as I maybe hoped it was going to be, but it was fine. Enjoyable still. These characters make me like the show, even when it got nothing too impactful 🤷‍♀️

But I got triggered about that lightning thing with Jay 😅 I guess I'll just fanfic whatever I had in mind...

The writing was really less engaging, a little normal in a way? Idk just a feeling. Nice to see Ronin again though, I really like him. And nice to see Jay freaking out, I really like that too 😂

OOOHHHH alright alright- brainstorming time for me.  Mhhhh let’s see. Mama I can see her with a bonsay like tree that grows with her whenever she changes shapes. Yinu- a whole boquet of golden roses like her hair! Both could communicate emotions with either colors changing or using flower meanings! Tatiana.. what if she had a candle or a torch? So that she can ignite for her battle! It would also be cool with the whole “she got burned out” thing with her and the goolings... OHHH maybe she turned her head into a lantern to have order and keep her flame at bay!! Then Eve- I would easily see her with one of those a half and a half masks- with her breaking off the “mismatching” side when she was younger to then reattach it when she began accepting herself. Either that or a frame- so that she is literally her own piece of art. 1010 could have a screen head just like their dad- I mean captain! Showing old school emoticons in the color of the respective member. I can see Sayu with a fish bowl! With maybe her fish form (minus legs,,) inside! While for her team.. mhh- Tila can have a microphone (maybe a cute one with stickers and stuff!), Dodo could have a camera, Sofa... the lil umbrella he got on his head! And Remi... oh he is hard mhhh- either a graphic tablet or a laptop? DK West would be awesome with an hand as his head! Decorated with the same enne(?) tattoos he has on his actual ones! Maybe with a closed eye in the middle- like his in game. Following this logic Zuke would have a hand too- and ngl kinda fits. His would have no tattoos tho, maybe nailpolish- to match how his hair has lighter tips. And his palm eye would be open. Now Mayday... oh boi,, I’d say a flower like the one in her eyes but mhhh- I’m unsure but I dont have other ideas so rip;;; ...oh! Maybe a stereo/stereo speaker decorated with flower stickers? She is pretty loud so... plus her just plugging her guitar in her own “head” is priceless dhfhs. Kliff.. I’d say glasses cause tbh? You can see through him- like... atleast I wasnt shocked by his reveal sdsudu. Apart from that- lowkey works with the whole thing of perspective. We see practically the whole game through his own “vision-” meaning we think that “our” motives of overthrowing NSR are right, just to then be “blinded” by reality once we understand that it was the wrong approach afterall. I’m bad explaining but yeh;; Phew- think I got all main characters- some are a bit eh but.. it was fun to think about!
