Agonia laments it, laments them; she's never been able to lower walls. Something about the extensive emptiness within her, how the depths sow fear in basal ganglia response.

Cemeteries blossom in her footsteps.

"If you hadn't distracted me..." dies in the air as she attempts, once again, to open the door that had sealed behind them. Beyond it, the screams of the possessed and the restless become muffled warnings. A chorus fit for the Dark Temple, every relic and cursed soul within its walls.

A sigh vacates her mouth, distorts behind the rebreather.

1st anniversary party of Stim Please and Down With Sith Bus!

Last year I was finally fed up enough with how white and how ableist swtor and its fandom has been, and I created the pub side guild <Stim Please> and its sister guild <Down With Sith Bus> on Star Forge. This year, we're hosting a giveaway for guild members!

Each faction will hold a giveaway for Secret Items TM, and each faction will have three prizes each. After the giveaway we'll play hide-and-seek on the flagships. (Don't have to be there if you don't want to!) Giveaways starts at 4pm pst (7pm est and 11pm gmt). Imp side giveaway will be Saturday and Pub side is Sunday.

[SWTOR Guilds - Satele, SF, SV]

Are you: -Scared of guilds? -Not in one, or ready to leave an inactive one? -Don't know how to join a guild?

If you are a reasonable person who just wants to play a videogame and not be excessively dramatic, I am extending an offer to do invites into a large, medium, or small guild on Satele, Star Forge, or Shae Vizla server (depending what ones I'm in on each server) -- DM to discuss ~

[My Rule: interact as little as you like with guild members after joining, but read any guild rules and don't break them. Obviously I don't want to look bad for referring someone who won't behave themself!]

Satele is my main server, where I can (potentially) get you invited to:

The Eternal Order (pub/imp) -the Largest guild on the server; very beginner-friendly (but will boot characters who do not log in once every week or two)

Tython Coalition (pub)/Korriban Conspiracy (imp) -a small guild of long-time players. Beginners, solo players, & lurkers are all invited. Sometimes there are Story Mode ops, and prizes of items & credits for people who get the most CQ points

Star Forge I have:

Nerfherders (pub) -a guild I inherited, which has a Cool Name and is a way to pool CQ for bonus weekly prizes/guild flagship plans (the only current members are me + 2-3 friends who are Satele server mains)

. . .and, potentially, another Also-small, tumblr-organized pair of guilds (pub and imp) which are run by @oolathurman (in this case I'd refer you though guildmaster Eliot. You'd have to be prepared to BE REALLY NICE TO EVERYONE, because they're all awesome, sweet people who deserve nothing but polite & friendly people to play in the guild)

and finally, Shae Vizla server:

Heroes of the Republic/Heroes of the Empire -a dual faction, large-ish guild started by Kal who does "Today in TOR". Maybe not the best-organized right now, but there are a lot of active members who are helpful people; very beginner-friendly

Wallaby Strike Force (pub) -middle sized and pub-focused, this one started as an offshoot of Satele's "What Mechanics" guild; they are mostly Australian (renamed accordingly) & they group randomly for endgame content (which means it can be a more Gamer-y environment--but they're mostly friendly)

Ignore Mechanics (imp) -middle/small, gamer-y guild that gets me my CQ bonus each week, and won't care if I invite people. LOL. They don't let me use summons (yet), but the name is fun & they have an unlocked ship w/ guild perks

1. Are you named after anyone? Kinda! I have a great-grandfather with my first and middle name, but my Mom only picked it because she liked the sound and didn't have any particular feelings about the guy. I was nearly named after my father, as in a 'junior', but he convinced her that was a bad idea.

2. When was the last time you cried? I teared up at my wedding Happy tears, of course.

3. Do you have kids? Unless Frisbee, my 9 year old orange tabby, counts, then no.

4. What sports do you play/have played? I played soccer and t-ball as a child, football for a hot minute and wrestling for three years in high school. I've also tried out like six different martial arts before dropping them but that sounds way more impressive than it is considering I learned basically nothing. About the only physical activity I get anymore is walking places and/or climbing the stairs at my house.

5. Do you use sarcasm? Who, me? Never.

6. What's the first thing you notice about people? General size, I'd say. I'm slightly on the tall side and very fat, so if someone is taller or bigger than me, or like ridiculously tiny, I notice.

7. What’s your eye color? Dark brown.

8. Scary movies or happy endings? Enh. I love well-done horror, but a lot of it is schlock. Similarly, I love a good catharsis, but a lot of 'happy endings' are also schlock. Still, catharsis is more important than a 'happy' ending imo, and so I guess I pick scary movies on principle.

9. Any talents? I have a knack for most of the arts in that I pick up basic proficiency faster than many, but I still gotta work my ass off to improve beyond that. Similarly decent with words but my writing is an ongoing effort to improve.

10. Where were you born? California, about 40 miles inland from Los Angeles.

11. What are your hobbies? TTRPGs (running generally, playing when I get the opportunity), Warhammer (building, converting, painting, playing), video games, writing

12. Do you have any pets? The aforementioned 9 year old orange tabby, Frisbee.

15. Dream job? Would love to make a living at writing or one of my other hobbies, but honestly anything that let me faff about in a creative flow with music going would qualify as a dream job. If I must interact with other humans for money, then I'm best in a teaching position where I can indoctrinate the youth in leftist thought teach literary/media analysis, critical thinking, history with all its beauty and ugliness on display, and basic fucking compassion.

“No,” Master Synagh said with a slight chuckle. He sat down and motioned for Reslen to join him. We feel righteous fury and we both need to learn how to temper it for justice instead of vengeance. I remember the anger I felt after my master was killed, and his son brutalized by a Sith. I…They were like my father and brother. All I wanted was to hunt down the Sith that did it and make him pay.”

“Did you?” “No, because I would be doing so out of revenge and not justice,” he explained. “Because I would be doing it for myself, not for them. For the pain it caused me, not them. As Jedi, we are meant to think beyond ourselves and our needs and wants, to find the bigger picture and see everything for what it is.”

Hunger

“Tell us about what you felt. The apprehension you told Faeway about.”

“Faeway?” Clarity repeated, unfamiliar with the name.

“Faeway is second in command o’ the Bureau,” Dáithí informed her, underling handle it. But, on with it.” “Okay,” Clarity said, unsure of what he meant. She took a deep breath, recalling the night and the feelings. She closed her eyes, resting her hands on the table and her voice became steady as she spoke. “The moon had come into the sky and the woods were dark. I saw it start around ten o'clock. The lights were fuzzy, and flashes began to occur. A hunger with a purpose. Fear, screams, death came knocking upon the door. No, scratching. Like an animal, a beast from Hell to take the lives.”

Dire

The three men looked between each other before Seigfried moved to take the letter. “Oh, tell me it’s not Lady Gruteau—”

“Trubeau,” Maxwell corrected.

“Begging me to return to her bed?” He chuckled to himself, opening the letter but soon the humor on his face fell. Maxwell and Rajmahel both knew a serious look to Seigfried’s face meant something incredibly dire and both moved closer out of curiosity’s sake. Seigfried quickly folded the letter, though, turning to the two. “Maxwell, you and Rajmahel will have to go and meet Father. I’ve got pressing business to return to in Ostwick.”

“Wait, what do you mean?” Maxwell reached for the letter, Seigfried pulling it out of his grasp. “Seigfried, you can’t just—” He didn’t even get to finish the sentence before Seigfried was already out the door.
