a little still untitled elliott x marco snippet. a need a working title for this one so bad oof.

There’s a man standing in the kitchen when Marco crosses through it. He looks like he’s just come from the gym or something. He’s sweaty and shirtless, wearing only a pair of clingy workout shorts. Marco feels a shiver run down his neck when the man turns to look at him.  “Everything alright?” he asks.  “Yes, sir. I’m Marco. I was studying with Elliott, but I have to get home.”  The man looks Marco over like he’s inspecting him before crossing the room and extending his hand. “I’m Ben, Elliott’s father. Nice to meet you. Sure you can’t stay for dinner?” Marco shakes his hand, and has the brief desire to run back to Elliott’s room. To stay, or convince Elliott to come with him, maybe. But he thinks about the panicked look on Elliott’s face, the careful blank mask he wears, and the way Elliott screamed at him to get out like it was the only way he expected him to listen.  “Not tonight, sir. My mom’s got a shift tonight so I have to get home and take care of my little sister.”

One does not simply play just one game of Civ. One must play another, and maybe just one more, and just one more... Goodbye to my hopes of getting drawing done this weekend, lol. Then again i am finally catching up on my podcasts while playing so i've been having a nice time with it. Also curious to start watching others play civ7 when it drops, i'm not going to buy it for 70euros on launch. we all know civs are worth it after an expansion or two, by then you'll also have at least the base game on sale. also because goddamn, I could maybe accept 60 on launch/preorder but 70 is just too much for me. But very interested on hearing some people's thoughts on it when its not a sponsored stream. I feel like i've heard mostly good things but i don't trust that lol. also i like hearing opinions from people who have a similar playstyle or attitude towards the game as i do, because I sure am not doing them 900IQ 5D chess runs. So the feedback from people who are insanely good at the game often says very little or makes very little difference to me :'D

Not having new linear games post 5 its judt that sims 4 wasnt even supposed to Be The Sims 4 it was a last minute pivot and the base code is so outdated and was broken On launch so like. i just wish we could have the final actual sims game be like. one that was always intented to be a major sims release AND be intended to be so long term . yk
