So! Here is some background information for anyone (updated for Dawntrail):

Wawasei Wasei is a lalafell daughter of a wealthy merchant from Ul’dah. Yes she is a lalafell and not a true goblin. Sorry to disappoint.

Goblins refer to her by the name they gave her: Peddlestox Shinyrocks. When speaking she does the same as she’s rather quickly finding out that it sounds wrong to use her Given Name (Wawasei) or her Nickname (Kwas).

She is 23 years old.

She is NOT a battler. She is a crafter. Her primary professions are jewelcrafting (GSM), woodworking (CRP), and sewing (WVR). (She’ll not be making any armor/weapons, not even robes)

She does now have a pictomancer brush and can use pictomancy though it is more akin to flinging paint in someone’s eyes as a distraction so she can run with her tiny legs than actual combat ability

She is still a runaway from her parents. They caught her once (almost twice) and have not given up just yet. (They want to set her up into an arranged marriage and she wants nothing to do with it.)

She wears a goblin mask and does use gobbiespeak. The mask is a gift from the gobbies after having lived with them under their protection and trading with them for a year or so, and came with her goblin name. Gobbiespeak is something she’s picked up and kept up.

She is good friends with most beast tribes (I say most because she hasn’t met them all just yet!). Aside from goblins, she has met and dealt with:

Kwas is on the Crystal DC same as the rest of my characters. She’s on Malboro currently. There is a chance of me setting her up on an EU data center in the future as another alt (I’ve NOT given up on that btw!) I just need to know where all the rp’s at!

She is NOT up for any romantic RP. (Not that I feel I will get any hooks for that since she’s a lalafell but that’s a debate and rant for another day...) I have a ship for her; we’re going to see if it sails or sinks.

She does have an Ask option where you can ask her questions and she will ICly answer. (when possible)

Viggy-bun will make a reappearance worry not! He’s off on his own adventures as an adventurer.

Yes you can find her around Earthenshire or Many Fires (and often!), but she will also frequent Tuliyolal because

She is not a Potsworn; Moblins probably find it odd that a moblin (goblin) is a craftymaker

Her ship is docked in Tuliyolal and is not like to sail all the way to Earthenshire any time soon

Note: Kwas is my attempt at a neurodivergent character. I myself share similar traits to those on the autism spectrum and gave her some of those traits. And as noted earlier she uses gobbiespeak.

Those two combinations are very hard for me to keep up with and while it would be much easier for me to retcon and change one or both of them, I feel they are apart of her character and a good challenge for me as a writer to keep up with it. (some things in DT will help with that but inconsistencies are gonna be a thing)

Bel has expertise in Medicine and Arcana checks since he is a bladesmith and prosthetics crafter, in fact having crafted his left arm prosthetic

Does a lot of research into magic enhancements, think Viktor from 'Arcane' but not quite as dangerously obsessive about his work, works mostly with silver armaments

Lad has horrible burn scars across his body and face from an assassination attempt on his bard family when he was younger

Bel is hilariously not much of a singer himself, but being a blacksmith lends him to being a decent percussionist

Gwynfor will be a NPC made through my DM's "I Know A Guy" mechanic where any player character can name an "expert" the player party can meet and talk to

He will be a paladin of sorts, wields light as a weapon much to the amazement of the current party since we have only recently met some Angels and a God in the world of Hyalus

Bel knows Gwynfor through having been commissioned to craft the famous swordspear we all know the Nameless King for

Hair: Black as pitch, feathery cut with oft adornments of small braids tied off with beads, a style from his young Tribal years that he continues to maintain to this day. Lazy days will have the braids undone and free flying.

Eyes: Blue on the left, green on the right. Pupils a touch wider than the average Seeker's though it's hardly noticeable at a distance.

Height: 5 fulms, 9 ilms. (5'9")

Build:  Built and toned, compacted muscle that's common among his race. Broad shoulders and noticeably sculpted arms and thighs. Much like their totem, Miqo'te of the Y tend to build strong physiques through years of swimming and tree climbing that mark their hunting ways.

Distinguishing Marks: A scar of his jawline, dark coloured traditional tribal tattoo on his nose. His torso is covered in angry scars that healed poorly, along with distinct lightning scarring (lichtenberg scars) up along his arms and various spots of healed burns on his hands and fingers. However he's rarely seen in revealing dress so these are usually covered up.

Common Accessories: Gloves, more often that not fingerless. Silver hoops in his ears. When in casual, work dress; a toolbelt around his waist adorned with various pouches, holds a number of things; pliers, flint stones, needle and threads, at least one marginally clean rag, magnifying glasses, gil pouch, adhesive, a balm or two for soothing burns, just to name a few. When dressed for fieldwork rarely is he seen not sporting a pair of scarlet goggles.

Just about anything and everything in between. Friends, enemies, rivals, someone you have to work with that you can’t tolerate but secretly admire (and oh no they’re kinda hot?), a complete stranger to get drunk with under the stars and discuss the intricacies of life and why apkallu omelettes are superior to dodo omelettes-- c’mon dude they are way fluffier! I love light-hearted slice of life moments, intense, high-stakes action scenes and espionage, meaningful angst and scenes rife with emotion, falling into the dark underbelly of Eorzea and learning what grey morality really is. IC Dawn is a Paladin, with the hopes of learning white magic for her own reasons. Anytime she’s seen in RP she’ll be a Paladin, or in her gear on Gunbreaker until I level Paladin far enough to equip/glamour it on there. 

OOC I found myself enjoying Gunbreaker so much I leveled it first on her. I have nearly everything unlocked, but I’m probably going to stick to only leveling a few jobs all the way, and probably all of the crafters/gatherers as well, as my other character Dusk, Dawn’s brother, has near every class except for crafting/gathering leveled at least over 50.

My biggest goal for Dawn is for her to actually build alot of friendships, and even have some people she can say she really trusts, which is a big thing for her. Like her brother she has the mindset of “i see what has to be done and I do it” and doesn’t have the patience to just wait and see what happens. It’s gotten her into trouble in the past, but she’s always come out of it alright, even if she’s had to learn some hard lessons in the past.

She can be a bit oblivious about some customs she comes across in the world, but is always willing to learn about them, and is almost never out to cause any real offense with her words and actions. She has times when she can be blunt, and times when she skirts around a sensitive topic. 

Unlike Dusk, she speaks almost fluent common, though will often slip into Xaelan if upset or angry enough, as that is what she grew up speaking for most of her life.

I could’ve killed the Kid for dragging my arse away from the work I was doing, were it not for the fact that he was actually intelligent for once, and planned ahead. I assume this Exarch is to thank for that, more so than the Kid.

Both were rather shocked when I arrived in the manner I did - mind, body, soul, and with my wardrobe and armaments. The Mage-Kid’s guess was that it was due to Nuntiae’s fuckery, and he’s probably right, though he seemed pleased with the fact it happened. Something about creating better possibilities later.

There’s a reason I don’t work with children, and those two reminded me why really quick.

At least I can go back and forth whenever I want, apparently.

I hadn’t expected to meet anyone I actually knew in this hellscape of a world. Plenty looked familiar or had similar aetheric qualities to the people I knew back home, but none quite fit their counterparts there to a tee.

Until this evening.

Not that I have any sort of intimate familiarity with the lad I ran across, but his face and aether were identical to someone I’d met back home. When I’d created the auto-scan module for my glasses, I didn’t think it would ever actually be useful - and it turns out it’s become immensely useful.

His name is Paradyme, and while he wasn’t forthcoming at all initially, I did convince him to admit we were from the same place. I’d run into him at one of those magic faires that happen from time to time back home, though I doubt he much recognised me, given I’ve changed quite a bit visually since then.

Though nearly a moon has passed since my first arrival, the poor lad’s been stuck here for around two years. I suspect he’s little in the way of connections to the Allagan brats, which makes me wonder how he arrived here at all. I’m quite sure the Mage-Kid would love to know as well...so perhaps it can become a bargaining chip in his damn little game.

I took him for some sort of spoiled prat initially. He was lamenting over the loss of his private crafting company and having to claw his way back up through the ranks of the Crystalline Mean, for all the world sounding like the Stag complaining of Eorzea’s terrible intelligence networks.

Pleasantly, while he still seems to be something of a prat, he’s not a spoiled prat. Nor is he much like the Stag, as I had feared when he said he was a financier for the academy that runs those faires, coupled with how distant he was playing at being at first.

I suppose we both rather have to take whatever comforts of home we can get, whether we find each other to be lacking or not. He’s rather trapped, and I’m rather bored, neither of which make for an enjoyable time.

Not all that long after a Hrothgar that had a pattern suspiciously similar to Red checked up on us, to see if we needed more drinks or food, Goldie decided he had to run off. He seemed a touch unsure and perhaps minutely disappointed that he didn’t know when our paths would cross again, so I forced him to let me see his linkpearl.

He was hesitant at first, given it hadn’t worked since he arrived; he didn’t strike me as much of a technologist, and his surprise at the fact the damn thing could be linked to one of these more advanced tomestones made that clear.

The lad refuses to get one of the tomestones and seemed to have a rather traumatised expression when asked if he had one. Something about being thoroughly done with the devices, which I’m sure that Rowena’s to blame for such feelings.

Gods know if they weren’t so much more advanced than our own, I’d never bother with the damn things either because of that bitch.

Might be advantageous to have a pocket-crafter here. I’ve little patience for Katless and the many rules of the Mean, so if someone else can suffer through it for me, all the better.

I’m on the fence as to whether or not he’ll prove to be more than a lad, albeit a useful one. Some of his answers were rather disappointing, while others showed a glimmer of wit and intelligence. It would be nice if someone up here were worth more than being a means to an end.

The Scion and Traveler: A daughter of the Steppe long come to Limsa, she was raised to fight.  She fell kind of accidentally in to the Scions’ laps and took up work with them as a Dark Knight. Run is fierce, headstrong, reckless, and loud.  It’s not hard for you to have come across her in your travels, in some dungeon or another, deep in a ruin, or in contact with the Scions themselves!  It’s not unheard of for her to frequent Ishgard as well.  It helps her get out her aggression, and she uses it as a way to vent.

The Dancer: To escape, and to pay honor to who she used to be, Run moonlights as a dancer.  Her performances happen all over Eorzea, and usually she finds a way to veil herself if she can.  She enjoys simply letting her body trace, turn, and pattern, so that she can show off...and maybe, if there’s any way, she’ll take someone home, get drunk, and fuck.  Dancing is her way to find release.

The Crafter and the Friend: What can she say?  She loves the rhythm of Goldsmithing and Weaving, both are a pattern, symmetry that life has often denied her.  It’s something she follows happily, and often loves to teach others!   However, when it comes to other people, she seeks out those that she knows need her.  She will sit by them, and make sure they’re well taken care her.  She can be doting, caring, and very much the mom-friend.

I am a Graphic Communications student, who has serious health issues, so my time’s sporadic in-game, but I’m on Tumblr and Discord all the time.  We can definitely chat, and try to coordinate things, and I’m always willing to try out new stuff <3

Thank you for the kind offer! It’s more of a thing that I actually need to stay focused on finishing things up, which I’m pretty sure I can do. I’m actually quite close to being done with MSQ on Amon -- I believe I’m sitting at early 4.2 content right now. So, just need to buckle down and get through these quests. 

Aside from that, I’m leveling a second job on him with roulettes, and cleaning up all the quests in zones that I left behind on my main job. I have a thing where I get annoyed at seeing quest markers littering the world map, so eventually I have to go back through and get them all done. I’m making good progress on this, too, actually.

And then... I’ve fallen down the Gathering rabbit hole again. Despite already having a max level gatherer/crafter on my main, it’s just been fun to level gathering on a second character and see how much it’s changed since I first leveled all this. So that’s daily Namazu quests and GC turn ins. 

Add to that helping out folks in my FC as they’re progressing through MSQ, and the fact my Main still needs Experts and Alliance for her gear and alt-job leveling... and yeah. I tend to stay pretty busy when I’m in game! 

But I’ll eventually hit the point where Amon is where I want him to be since I don’t really need fancy gear or relic stuff on him. As long as he’s at an ilvl to progress into the next expansion when it comes, that’s all I care about.

I don’t normally do this, but I’m going to take a moment to gush about Re:Creators and why I think anyone who is a creator of art should watch it, while also not-so-subtly grumbling about the reception it’s gotten. I’ll try to remain as spoiler-free as possible.

First I want to talk about my grievances so it doesn't seem like I’m incapable of seeing the flaws of the series. Although, if you’ve read any reviews about it, nothing I say will be new info. 

Pacing: The biggest issue I had was with the pacing of the series. Unlike some, I don’t think the story could have been told in 12 or 13 episodes. Doing so would have made the large cast seem extremely unwieldy and would have sacrificed characterization. However, it seemed very obvious in the middle part that they struggled with pacing. 

For example, I practically marathoned the series, but when I saw the preview for the next episode was a hot springs episode I stopped watching for the night, convinced that an episode like that probably wouldn’t lend much to the plot (I was right). The hot springs episode was probably by far the largest annoyance, but there were many many scenes that could have been trimmed for fat. After Mamika left, almost any scene in the bad guy’s camp had me reaching for my phone to scroll through tumblr. Those scenes lacked depth after the moral compass Mamika was gone. They mostly amounted to getting a small glimpse of a new baddy and Altair brooding and being maniacal.

Altair’s Power: Which brings me to my second biggest gripe, Altair. I love her concept. The reason for her infinite power shows that the showrunners have their pulse to fandom. I know people harp on her because she’s basically a Hatsune Miku rip-off (which, if you’re pissy about characters in this show being similar to existing characters and franchises BOI do I have bad news for you about the entire concept of this show), but I don’t think that is where her weaknesses stem from. 

Part of Altair’s being is that she in infinite, almost god-like in her own right. In the universe of Re:Creators this powerset makes perfect sense and plays well into the big questions the show is asking. However, the showrunners need to remember for as meta as Re:Creators is, it is still a show. Having Altair being a walking Deus Ex Machina and coming up with a new power to perfectly counter the heroes every time is dull and gives zero constraints to her. Basically, I mean there wasn’t an ending I could see our heroes beating Altair with her infinite number of reality-bending scores. That unknown is nice for some people, but for me, it just made me afraid they were going to pull out some power of friendship bullshit at the eleventh hour.

Altair’s Motivations: I think I’m in a small camp, but I LOVE Altair’s dialogue. In the beginning, she seems like a very complicated character, the kind of wickedly smart villain that happens once in a blue moon, the kind that makes you go, “Well, they aren’t wrong, but they’re going about it all wrong.” Unfortunately, this part of her characterization gets severely played down in the second half. She turns more into a one-note villain that means nothing to defeat. In addition, since we see so much less of her in the second half it makes her resolution mean less imo (I say this and someone who cried the whole time). I adore her speech at the end. I think it was a nice callback to the line she had said only an episode or so earlier:

“Clever logic is a slave to emotion.”

And that’s what I think defines Altair as a character. She is someone who has so much despair and anger, but she justifies it with logic and simplicity. And in the end, it’s also what becomes her end. The problem is, we don’t get to see the illogical and emotional side of her often enough. Clever audience members can infer it, but this pivotal part of her character isn’t given the spotlight it needed to avoid the finale feeling OOC of her to most.

Now that we’ve gotten those out of the way, I’m free to gush and rant as much as I please! First I want to address some common critiques I’ve seen on the series:

Sota: One of the most common issues people bring up is the blandness of the “main character” Sota, or rather, the audience insert. I won’t say he is not that, but for vastly different reasons than I think others would slap that “warning” on him.

Many people are quick to label Re:Creators and reverse-isekai show. Again, I won’t argue with the genre label, but I do think that out of all the genres and themes within the series, isekai is actually pretty insignificant. Re:Creators at its core is not about “what would you do if anime characters came to the REAL WORLD,” moreover it is tackling questions about the essence of creation, media and our relation to it. So how does this relate to Sota?

I think Sota is often written off as just a “self-insert” character because that is a staple of the isekai genre, the genre that I propose is not actually that prevalent, I estimate the same with Sota. Sota is passive, yes, but he also has his own story arc and despite him saying that he is only the narrator, I think the story of Re:Creators is really all about his struggle as an artist, something I think many audience members can relate to, making him their insert. It’s not because he’s Kirito and is amazing at everything, but rather his struggles mirror our own, much more so than the larger-than-life Creations. 

(Also, I don’t stand for any BS about him being a Deus Ex Machina in the final battle. He followed Re:Creators inner world logic despite it being ‘cheating’. No foul.)

The scene in episode 9 with Sota and Magane is what I showed other people to get them into the show, to show this human character break down, hear some hard truths and get back up. Also, the fact that he was able to bring you-know-who back in the final battle shows that while he feels immense guilt, he doesn’t shy away from it. He could have very easily let his own guilt make him soften his final product, but no, he wanted something real and tangible, not something to make him feel better. To me, that shows his depth as a character.

This post here also encapsulated how I feel about Sota’s character.

Exposition: Another common critique I see is about the amount of dialogue and exposition in the series. Maybe it’s just the DM and lore-junkie in me, but I’ve never minded a lot of exposition and in Re:Creators I LOVED it. Even Meteor’s long-winded explanations. I liked them because the through them the show was promoting difficult questions, the kind that would have my old existentialism professor jumping with glee. I’ve debated sending him this series for his next film class actually, but I don’t want him to know I’m anime trash. 

I think a lot of people take issue with the exposition because of its often theoretical in nature. Naturally, the audience wants some payoff for these big ideas any rarely gets any. Unfortunately, that’s how philosophy rolls, yo. But if you’re someone like me who finds joy in pondering about multiple-world theory, film tropes and subversion and meta, this show scratches an itch you didn’t know you had.

I know that shows like this that don’t give you all the answers, that are subtle in the execution often get ragged on for their supposedly “poor writing,” often are snubbed, but that doesn’t make me appreciate them any less.

Now the things that I love unabashedly:

Music: Hiroyuki Sawano. Those no other reason I fucking need. Even though Aldanoah Zero turned out to be a big dumpster fire, you bet your ass I have the whole soundtrack on my iPod. Those OSTs are some of my main background music fodder for writing. There’s nothing quite like Sawano’s music that can convey hype with such a heroic and hopeful feeling

Theme: This is a story that touches on a lot of issues, artist block, feelings of inadequacy, working together creatively and above all, the power of imagination. I love that this series shows there is no shame in the real emotional connections we have when interacting with media. I also goes out of its way to show the power and value the audience brings to creations. It is a hopeful story that I think many of us can relate to.

I saw this line in another post, but I want to repeat it here; If you are a creator, an artist, a writer, a crafter, cosplayer, anything, this show is for you. It will show you how special and how important you are, how your contributions are valued and how you should continue to create despite hardships. It is a story that needed to be told, it is an important story.

I think it was a very good way to get the two universes involved. It was the plot for the original crossover and it was a fun idea to begin with. The problem is we’ve stayed in that mindset.

Now, don’t get me wrong I think there are some genuinely good field trip fics, and I think it’s a fun story if done right. I don’t think the only way to get them involved is if they’re in their hero personas; trust me I’ve read some fics who write a relationship well and it had nothing to do with their hero personas. But if you do it because that’s the only way you think they can meet, either as heroes or on an ooc field trip, you’re not dipping into your creativity.

I want to see fics where Damian is traveling and meets her. I want to see them meet in the mountains of Switzerland, or as tourists on the beaches in Greece. I want to see Marinette join the Justice League, and meet the batfam there, or meet while stopping a world ending threat. I want them to meet in restaurants and coffee shops and colleges. In skating rinks and fashion shows and festivals. I want to see Marinette studying magic and accidentally teleporting herself to his universe, or see Damian in a fight against a villain who portals him to hers. I want to see the Miraculous world get darker - instead of the DC universe getting sillier. I want stories where they are an established couple; ones where they fight and love and tease and enjoy each other. They’re artists, they care about the world, they’re leaders. They have things in common and we are missing out on opportunities to explore that dynamic in unique ways.

As for the characterization, yes, generally the batfam feels a bit ooc. They’re paranoid bastardized who hardly trust other heroes on a good day never mind strangers. And Damian is the freaking king of arrogance and superiority in his early years, that’s not going to disappear entirely. He’s had a weird and traumatic life - he’s a prickly person. Not a BAD person by any means, just a difficult one. His character is beyond interesting and it’s sometimes difficult to see it... diminished just because he ends up in love.

But Marinette’s personality also ends up mangled too. She is not a perfect person (at least not if you ignore the rose tinted glasses Astruct likes to write her with) she is klutzy, she gets mad, she gets petty and sneaky. She’s shy when she first meets people but outgoing once she’s comfortable. A skilled crafter and determined workaholic, and unable to say no to people. She’s not a wallflower, but she’s still a person with feelings.

I think all I want say is while the birth of this fandom was a release for fans who wanted a way to express anger with certain characters, it’s grown in ways that go beyond that original petty purpose. There’s an amazing community here. I have never seen people so happy to share and comment and interact as the Maribat fans - it’s amazing! But I would love to see a shift of the content to focusing on characters and stories that are unique because there is certainly more to discover here and we’ve just scratched the surface.

My thoughts on the ‘Daminette Field Trip’ troupe

Does anyone else sick of the ‘Daminette Field Trip’ troupe? Because I’m kind of sick of seeing the same line that I see in everyone of those fics “She had the prettiest blue eyes, like an angel.” Or something along those lines. And somehow within a week, everyone in the Batfamily loves her, Damian has opened up about his past trauma that took his family years to even get a hint of. He’s not an entitled asshole like he is depicted in nearly every adaptation I’ve seen. Suddenly Damian doesn’t have deep seated trauma, and serious issues with self-control and anger. It’s like his character, and everything he has been through is completely erased and disregarded. 

In my mind, the only way ‘Daminette’ would ever happen is if they met as Robin and Ladybug, and even then Robin is a cynical bastard, and no way Ladybug would deal with that. they would probably hate each other!

Also, what’s the deal with them ruining Lila’s life? Even if the Batfamily did notice the bullying, there is no way the first thing they would do would be ‘Lawsuit’, and they wouldn’t try to ruin her life. If anything, the most they would do was collect some evidence and send it to the school board for them to deal with. And if Lila was lying about Damian, they would send her a Cease and Desist from their lawyer, and wouldn’t bat an eye, because they have all dealt with people lying about them before. Nothing new, nothing special. And they definitely wouldn’t go so far as to destroy her entire life, and the life of all her classmates over it. 

It just aggravates how the entirety of the Batfamily is closer to an OC, than the actual character.

Announcement: The Gold-Stone Concordance(GSC)

It is time.

After months of preparing, setback after setback, naysayer after naysayer, the time has finally come - all of our efforts, all of the gold, all of the relations we have gathered and built. Until now my promises to aid the community have been minor: donating what medical supplies we could, sending donations to the front, aiding any organization dedicated to fighting the Legion... Now we can truly make a difference. This War will and has put every engagement to shame in scale, severity, and desperation - and we of Azeroth are tired of looking over our shoulders, or peering into the darkest corners with paranoia.

It is in this time that the Legion will learn fear - and we of Azeroth will be their first nightmare.

This war, this Crusade will not be won by sword, bow, and spell alone - but with careful, calculated thought. It is only now that all our relations come together; our desires not for coinage or profit - but to aid one’s country - nay world!

And so I say with extended palm, join us. Aid your people, your country, your world - or forever live in regret, and doubt, or should we lose: in pained remorse.

Though it is true I am not a skilled soldier, some may even call me a coward - it is truer still that the braveheart at the front cannot fight the Demons with his bare hands! The archer that finds his quiver empty will be vanquished, and the medic without a roll of bandages will watch another friend pass to a wicked wound of the Hellspawn.

Every crafter, every merchant, every trader with ship or wagon - every man, woman, and child able and willing to pick up a blacksmith’s hammer, carry a crate, or file paperwork; we call to you.

We want YOU to aid our Soldiers, the Alliance, and Azeroth!

It is with our logistics that we can make sure casualties are limited, that every soldier has a weapon, that all the wounded have medical supplies - and the Alliance economy grows in a time of desperation; giving us more supplies and boosting an already dire moral.

For Family, for Kingdom, for the Alliance, and for Azeroth!

Hello-hello! Elstine here, finally revealing our big surprise to the general public. It has been a long time coming, months and months of gathering IC resources, creating IC contacts, and scheduling - but the time is finally here.

It is time.

The Gold-Stone Concordance is a multi-individual, multi-guild, multi-organization IC and OOC collaboration designed to help bolster the merchant, civilian, trader, and crafter portions of Roleplay, while simultaneously supporting and encouraging all the wonderful groups supporting the Soldiers, or roleplaying as the Soldiers fighting against the Legion.

Let me be clear; you do not have to be a part of any guild to work with us!

The idea is a simple one: a soldier can only fight so many demons bare handed.

The Army is in desperate need of concrete supply lines, that are otherwise and currently under consistent assault by Legion skirmishers. As many of you know supply lines are vital in war times - WW2 was largely won due to the vast amount of supplies able to be produced and supplied by the West, where as Nazi forces were largely crushed in the East due to their lack of supplies; such is only one War example out of easily thousands.

So now for our typical Q/A.

1. Why is this a good thing? For a lot of reasons. It inspires more roleplay in theoretical every category - from Noble House to budding alchemist shop, to massive Dwarven Clan to a simple scribe, to a soldier on the frontline to a caravan trader.

It is an effort to create and hold loosely together a coalition of many individuals, guilds, and groups and have us all working together either first hand, or through the background. A Soldier may never learn who’s store made the bandage that saved his life - but the bandage was still there.

It adds a depth of reality; not everyone wants that - but many do. There is a craving for reason, for answers - more importantly, there is a craving for socializing. All and all it is far more satisfying to get your supplies delivered by an actual trader than a nameless NPC. In addition it adds cause and effect scenarios - if a caravan -doesn’t- make it to its destination that can cause a dramatic domino effect that may have otherwise never happened with an NPC Supply Line.

There’s a lot of course.

2. What’s the bad side?

No, but really. Potentially? Nothing - This isn't an opt-in (All roleplay is opt-in, jeeze.) this is an invite-only type situation, it is an Alliance, a Concordance, a League; can you do all of this on your own? By all means, I encourage it. But, it being an invite only it allows us to retain OOC control - preventing any power hungry hungry hippos from doing something stupid that’d break up a good thing. We retain OOC control to make sure things are fair, balanced, consistent, and over all work like a well-oiled machine.

The worst thing that can happen is the trade league dissolves.

3. Who all is invited to this group?

There's a lot of people and not enough time to talk to all the peeps, but we have tried to talk with and will still be talking to folks; but the fact of the matter is we won't hit everyone up and most likely it's not for any reason other than we haven't heard of your group, or yourself - or we haven't had time to hit you up yet.

That being said: Merchants, Traders, Salesman, Caravaners, Pirates, Ship People, Soldier Groups, Mercenaries, Crafters, Crafters, Crafters, Stores, people/groups with Resources such as Iron, Wood, Food, Scribes, Civilians, People looking for work, new roleplayers, old roleplayers, Houses, Clans, Tribes,  etc.

Pretty much the only reason you wouldn't be brought in is if you had an IC reputation of being a bad guy or if current members overwhelmingly have had issues with you on an OOC level.

4. So what’s the general plan?

For hopeful simplicity we will break it down as such:

A = Resource Heavy Individual/Group 1 = Resource

B = Crafting Individuals/Groups 2 = Finished Goods

C = Military/Frontline 3 = Supplied Soldiers

Now, we contact A and ask for 1. A has 1 gathered and brought to our supply depot by our retainer Mercenaries for security.

Now, B can either come to us and ask to withdraw 1.

Or, A/B can simply contact one another and schedule pur mercenaries for the security.

Finally, as B finishes crafting 2 they will send their finished product to C.

1+2=3

Bad with math? Want to hear me talk more? Well so am I, and so do I!

So, basically those within the Concordance are encouraged to use us as a sort of bank, security system, and match maker.

Need goods stored for easier, faster, and safer trades - while also getting insured? Bring your supplies to us.

From there, we will trade your goods out and deliver them to the front as needed. You can sell the resources/supplies and get straight gold, or you can make gold slowly as we or you trade it out of our supply stores.

Anyone within the Concordance has access to our retainer Mercenary force for safe trading to one another or the front lines. Anyone within the Concordance has access to our supply depot; where we will guard and insure your supplies and resources.

Anyone within the Concordance will be aided in making business deals. Setting up meetings with the right people for your organization.  If you have iron, we will set you up with a blacksmith for example.
