You were quietly organising the papers that Yukong had given you, meticulously placing them in their correct positions and categories. The task at hand was quite substantial, and an hour had already passed since you began. When Yukong offered her assistance, you declined, assuming she had other matters to attend to. And now, you found yourself with two stacks of papers, patiently waiting to be sorted.

As you were in the midst of placing papers on the bookshelves, you suddenly felt the sensation of two strong arms encircling your waist. Your body tensed, and you prepared to draw your weapon, but before you could react, the man swiftly grasped your hands, preventing any immediate action. He leaned in, planting a kiss on your neck, further surprising you.

“Relax, darling, it’s just me,” Blade reassured you, continuing to shower your neck and ear with a few more affectionate pecks. Gradually, you allowed yourself to relax and released a sigh. “Ren, can't you see I'm busy?” you asked, mildly exasperated.

After thirty minutes of Blade amusing himself with the trinkets he found in the room, Jing Yuan entered through the door, observing Blade sulking and noticing that you were still engrossed in your work. Realising the situation at hand, Jing Yuan decided to intervene, recognizing that you could use some rest, especially since there was still only one stack of papers left that could probably be finished tomorrow.

“Sweetheart,” Jing Yuan called out to you, and you responded with a noncommittal hum while your hands continued to sort through the documents. “Don’t you want to take a break for a bit?” he inquired. This question caught the attention of sulking Blade, who perked up, curious to hear your response. Once again, you firmly replied, “No.”

Both men exchanged glances, understanding the stubborn determination in your response. Blade, with a resigned expression, patted the seat beside him, silently indicating that they should just wait. And so, there they were, two formidable men sulking, patiently waiting for their partner to finish the task at hand.

Jing Yuan and Blade wore expressions of sadness on their faces, the usual cheerful and playful smiles replaced by a sense of disappointment.

After another 30 minutes had passed, you finally stretched your arms, relieved to have completed the daunting task. The Stellaron Hunter awakened the dozing general, pointing towards their exhausted partner. The loud voice of Ren the King’s shouts startled Y/n not the slightest. Their thoughts had dozed off a few moments ago, wondering how their collection of animals back at base were doing. Did they remember to leave enough food for them? Were their animals left with enough entertainment for the hour they were gone? Was the temperature fitting enough? They had over a dozen creatures—from cats to dogs, parrots to pandas, axolotls, a few barn animals, a warden—

“Order! Order!”

They flinched slightly, unnoticeable to most Hermits.

Most. BDoubleO always seemed to notice their little habits—from flinches to stutters, and the little happy finger click they did when they successfully tamed—or captured, you can’t really tame wardens—another creature.

He turned his head slightly towards them, sending a side glance their way.

The mumblings of the King’s Court never seemed to die down. Ren sighed and rubbed at the bridge of his nose.

“Guys, guys! Your attention, please!”

Y/n licked at their lips, their head downwards as their fingers danced with each other. The mumbling and whispering eased down soon after, and the members of the court finally paid attention to their flustered king.

His hair was wild, standing in all directions as his face flushed in red.

“What may be the issue, my king?” Bdubs, voice calmer and lower than usual, spoke up first.

“Well, as thou shalt see—” Red pointed to the outside of the castle, out the window where the statue of himself stood. “Someone has graffitied my glorious statue!”

Y/n subconsciously shuffled backwards further into their seat. Ren’s increasing volume as he rambled on and on about how the renegades—as he says—disrespected his statue.

“Uh—my king?” Bdubs mumbled lower now, eyes flashing towards Y/n’s direction for a split second. “My liege?”

When Ren hadn’t responded to his quiet calls, inaudible to his loud complaints, Bdubs resorted to whisper-shouting his name instead.

“Ren!”

Ren turned his head towards Bdubs, ready to correct the man, when his eyes moved from the mossy man to the jittery Y/n beside him. Their head hung lowly, their hands gripped each other tightly, and their widened eyes refused to make contact with anyone in the room. “Oh,” Ren mumbled softly. “Oh—I, uh—”

“It’s alright, Ren,” Bdubs whispered, standing up shortly. He tugged lightly on their shirt, enough for them to feel it but not enough to startle them. They turned their head backwards, glancing at the general direction of Bdubs’ face. He held his usual smile, calmer and softer, before pointing his head in the direction of the door.

“Come on, love,” he whispered lowly. “Y’wanna get outta here?”

Without another word, Y/n followed him outside.

As soon as they were out, as soon as the air brushed through their face, Y/n let a sigh leave their lips.

“You alright there, hon?” Bdubs whispered, standing a comfortable distance away.

Y/n stayed silent, letting the wind brush through their face for a few moments. Bdubs waited, patient and kind.

A moment passed, and they sighed. “Yeah—yeah, sorry. That…that was dumb of me.”

“No, no.” Bdubs was quick to reassure them, voice still soft and smile still kind. “No, that wasn’t. You’re fine, Y/n. You just needed a moment of silence, and Ren didn’t notice it in time.”

“But—” “No buts,” Bdubs scolded them lightly. “If you ever need just a moment to keep yourself comfortable, I’ll always be there to help you, got that? You're not a problem to me or anyone.”

They stayed silent for a second before nodding. “Yeah.”

“Good, good. Do you wanna go back or do you want to stay here for a moment.”

“I think—I think I can go back in now.”

Nodding, Bdubs gestured to the door, opening it for them.

“After you.”

HI EVERYONE, SABLE BACK AT IT AGAIN WITH A BLOG THAT'S. kind of a hot mess. she's one part plot device for ren's plot, and another part a kind of. attempting to play someone who's basically been raised by an evil team! lord help us all but especially me.

anyway, emilia has basically been raised to be a neo flare/noriko loyalist! to sum up her deal basically: after noriko properly established her team, a pair of grunts (who are millie's parents) were basically raising their daughter in preparation for the next world that noriko intends to usher in, noriko looked at the child and said "it's free real estate" and basically took her under her wing and taught her so many computer and hacking skills. and basically paid her tuition to blueberry academy anonymously so she can serve as a mole! ...she's kind of. messed up. she's a very good kid who's what every teacher would call a delight to have in class, but there is a very clear. awkwardness. about her. and a hell of a lot of naivete over the world itself.

so. naturally, she's gonna come with some content warnings that'll come up overtime, but i do all in my power to ensure that they're all tagged: living in a cult-like environment/mindset being the primary one, being raised in isolation, and despite her very loving and caring parents and to a certain extent, the care noriko was willing to provide, her inevitable endgame fate is. going to involve physical violence/abuse from the hands of someone she considers an authority figure. (who is. a terrible, terrible person, we're talking "former rocket who's violent tendencies have only gotten WORSE since joining neo flare" levels of ruthlessness.) this will be treated with the gravity and respect it deserves, and will have a kind of bittersweet ending (but no child death!!!), but that's going to be the worst of it. along with just. general team flare mindset of "destroying the world is great, actually".

...i wound up signin' up for an outreach program at uva because i wanted to try and do a lil better for myself! it's um. everything back home is good, actually, but...i finally decided to look into uva now that it's changed hands, and i got to talk with the director a bit when i signed up? and talked about my time at uva before, and he seemed real sad? i don't know, but...it was nice to have someone to listen, and i decided to go for it! i wanna make more money to support myself and lulu, and bouton and bluebell...

what else what else...oh! lulu's officially certified as an emotional support pokemon!! which is really good because i have. really needed lulu around because mesagoza gives me massive anxiety spikes still. bouton's still bein' bouton, but everyone at uva loves him so far when he comes into class--though i don't think mr. hassel's very happy with how interested he is in swipin' paint brushes and stuff. and bluebell evolved!! ...and she's doing both better and worse, i had an everstone on her but it came off at the worst time and we've. been trying to all adjust to that!! it's a lot, but she's doing so much better than i thought!

and um! yeah! i think that sums everything up?? so i'm sorry for not bein' around too too much, and for all the radio silence!!! i've only really been textin' a few friends between my shifts at home, my shifts here in mesagoza's pokemart, and school, and it's all been so much! but!! i'm getting prepared for a special trip we're taking in the next month, actually, and i hope i'll be able to take you all along for the ride! it's a place called kitakami, if anyone knows about it!! i've heard it's an amazin' place, so here's hoping i can get lots of pictures for you all!

He said five minutes only but he ended up carrying you to wherever you wanted to go despite the complaints. He’s secretly melting inside because you’re so close to him.

“Urgh...Fine! Just five minutes, okay?!”

❥ Suo clocks his head to the side as a gentle smile graces his face.Suo gracefully knees down, positioning his arms-readying. He looks like a regal prince, as he patiently waits for you to get on his back. When he tries to stand he’ll fake almost falling over, making you scared so that you’d press your body closer to him and that you’d wrap your arms around his neck. When walking he’ll pretend to trip or tickle your thighs. You’re on his back at his complete mercy to do as he pleases, he won’t let you down easily.

❥ Nirei has frozen into a statue at your words. You want him to carry you. Here? Right now?! Only after he starts to panic so you try your best to reassure that it was just a joke and that he didn’t have to. Nirei accepts because who is he to say no to you? He’s nervous, he’s worried he might hold you the wrong way or that he won’t be able to carry you. A lot of reassurance is needed and in the end he manages to do it. He’ll get really tired and sweaty but refuse to back down, despite your worries for him.

❥ Sugishita stares at you blankly, his blank face has you sweating questioning your request to him. However, before you could explain to him that it's a joke and that he doesn’t have to. He nods then crouches down, arms positioned behind him. You had to do a double take at the suddenness of it before mustering the courage and getting on. His grip on you is strong and the view is great from up here. Just point in whatever direction and he’ll go.

“……where?”

❥ Umemiya bounces around in happiness, unable to stay still from excitement. You don’t have to tell him he’s already crouched down ready to go. He’ll usher you to quickly get on. His grip on you is secure; you don’t have to worry about falling. Until he starts breaking out into a run, making airplane sounds. You had to hold on for dear life because he sure runs fast. He’ll continue to have you on his back as he visits the town people and speaks to his fellow team members. You’re embarrassed but he’s not, he’s proud to have you on his back.

“I wonder if Kotoha-chan will let me carry her too!”

❥ Kaji’s eyes widen in surprise his mouth opens but before he could say anything he sticks his lollipop back into his mouth again. He remains silent as crouches down, not moving until you’re comfortable on his back. The whole ride is silent, you’re not even sure where he’s taking you. No matter who tries to approach or talk to him, they are completely ignored. You have to silently apologize to them from his back. He eventually brings you to a park and let’s you down. He then goes to sit and lean on a tree, patting the spot next to him for you to sit. When you do, he lays down to rest his head on your lap.

     Meliodas gives you a gift every time the opportunity strikes. He's thinking about you 24/7, so it isn't rare that he comes home with something for you. Unfortunately, you had to scold him a few times because he went over the budget, but you forgave him quickly.

𝐇 = 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 (𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏/𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔?)

     Always. If he isn't trying to grope you in some way, Meliodas is holding your hand. Usually, it's pretty loose, but if he's feeling especially sappy, he'll intertwine your fingers. If you're in a risky situation, his grip will be tight and he’ll occasionally check your pulse to reassure himself.

𝐈 = 𝐈𝐧𝐣𝐮𝐫𝐲 (𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒄𝒕 𝒊𝒇 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒉𝒖𝒓𝒕?)

     All hell breaks loose. He makes sure you're safe and gets Merlin to take care of you for the time being. Then he slinks away and deals with whoever hurt you. While you're injured, he's around you 24/7 to ensure you don't hurt yourself even more. He also likes to play nurse with you.

𝐉 = 𝐉𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 (𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒋𝒐𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖? 𝒉𝒐𝒘?)

     Never. Meliodas will tease you occasionally, but it's never at the expense of your feelings and only if you're comfortable with it. The idea of you being upset with him crushes him, so he won't even try it.

𝐊 = 𝐊𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 (𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒊𝒔𝒔 𝒚𝒐𝒖?)

     Meliodas kisses you gently as if he would break you if he put too much pressure. In more passionate moments, his kisses are more desperate, but that's about it. However, he won't turn down a good smooch if you initiate it.

𝐋 = 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 (𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖?)

     Meliodas shows you that he loves you by protecting you. Whether you're in a dangerous situation, someone sketchy is trying to talk to you, or he thinks one of your friends is fake, he'll always be there for you.

𝐌 = 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐲 (𝒇𝒂𝒗𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒚 𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓?)

     His favorite memory is when you scolded him for being reckless when he fought with Gilthunder in the Forest of White Dreams. He wasn't really paying attention to what you were saying, but the passion and worry on your face made his hearts go haywire.

𝐍 = 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐞 (𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒓?)

     Meliodas' worst fear is you getting hurt because of him. He gets so worried when you're out on the battlefield when you don't need to be. His thoughts can really get to him sometimes and he'll try to pull away from you, but you always show him you can take care of yourself.

𝐎 = 𝐎𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒌 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆?)

     Meliodas never fails to bring you up in a conversation. Never. It could be something completely random, too. If he's talking with someone about getting groceries, he'll mention how he wants to get your favorite food. If he's talking to someone about outfits, he'll talk about how he wants to get you an outfit you've been looking at. If they're talking cleaning supplies, he'll talk about how you always smell good. He will find a way.

      (Ban likes to joke that you're all he thinks about and makes bets with people over it.)

     Meliodas likes to call you your name because he believes it's the most beautiful thing. However, later in the relationship, he may call you a shortened version of your name (if it can even be shortened.)

     When Meliodas wants to spend quality time with you, he'll ask you to bathe with him. Anywhere else and you'll end up being interrupted. He also gets to see you naked, which is a huge plus on his end.

     Anything sweet and upbeat will remind him of you. Any cheesy loves songs will do the job as well.

     Meliodas will only be open after you've been together for a long time. Even when that happens, it doesn't happen often.

     Way too long. Everyone around you knew you two were into each other but neither of you made a move! When you finally announced your relationship everyone said it was about damn time (though they were still supportive.)

     He immediately tries to make you feel better. He's really awkward with emotions, but he'll try to understand what you're going through. You'll have to tell him what to do or else he'll have no idea what to do.

     Absolutely! He'll talk about your achievements like they're his own. He's very proud of what you've accomplished. One time you took down a demon all by yourself and he wouldn’t shut up about it for weeks.

     Meliodas doesn't like you fighting. It doesn't matter if you're able to take care of yourself--hell, it doesn’t matter if you're stronger than he is, he will never like the idea of you being on a battle field. Because of this, he’s always beside you. He puts your life above his own.

𝐗 = 𝐗-𝐑𝐚𝐲 (𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖?)

     It depends on how long you've been together! Because of him being a demon prince in the past, he had to know basic body language to prepare himself for anything, so he has a basic understanding. After a while, he'll notice your own quirks and he'll have your behavior down to a T. He may even know you better than you do.

𝐘 = 𝐘𝐞𝐬 (𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖?)

     If Meliodas were to propose, he'd do it super casually. You may not even expect it.

     Imagine you're at a getaway with Meliodas so you could have quality time together away from your responsibilities. You're already a little suspicious about this because Meliodas has never done anything "big" like this, but you're happy nonetheless. Imagine you're relaxing near a waterfall when Meliodas splashes you, which turns into a water fight. When you turn around to get back at him, however, you see Meliodas on his knee with a ring on his hand and the biggest grin on his face.

𝐙 = 𝐙𝐞𝐧 (𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒎?)

     Being around you. Especially if you sing and/or read to him. Play with his hair, too! These things paired with some cuddling will turn him into putty in your hands. If you ever want him to agree to something, It’s best you do this first. He’ll agree 90% of the time.
