Based on the march update:

I've been seeing a lotta good " Wally and Eddie (sometimes Sally too) bonding over Witnessing The Horrors ™️ " content...

...so I raise y'all a " Frank and Barnaby putting aside their differences to help them out " comic

Unlikely? Very much so, but here it is anyway!

Also I got super lazy coming up with dialogue, so this basically the run down:

Barnaby is bugging Frank with another one of his classic jokes. That is until they notice Wally consoling a very distressed Eddie.

Before he gets to ask Frank if he knows what's wrong with Eddie, Frank shuts him down, thinking he's just gonna set up another joke about it, which he's especially not in the mood to hear.

However, after mentioning that he had only asked because Wally's been acting off as well, they both start to talk about their strange behaviors, how they can help, what may have caused this ...

But wait- who's that watching over them?

Sometimes you have sad thoughts about characters you don’t even write

#OOC / HOLLY.#MOBILE.#so. Emm and Jo had run ins over the years BUT Emm hasn’t left the Necropolis in years #and he’s clearly surprised to run into Jo during DA:TV #listen. it just made me emo to think that perhaps #Jo dying and coming back as a half-lich and truly going to ground #after all those years of cat and mouse and trying to pull her back to the light #contributed to him keeping to the Necropolis and perhaps focusing on teaching #like perhaps it just. burned him out for a while #it WOULD be emotionally and mentally and physically / magically taxing #those run ins that just keep escalating #then suddenly Jo simply disappears without a trace #and the years wear on and you have to stop or it’ll eat you alive #and you just have to hold to the hope that she’s alive and has turned over a new leaf or something #that she’s too powerful a mage to have died or fallen to a worse fate #smth like that idk I should be in bed

Overall vibe:

A few explanations if you're interested. I've set this in autumn, though the backgrounds are mostly green to represent the Earth Kingdom. Jin is wearing lighter, spring clothes, which she got secondhand from a wealthy woman of Ba Sing Se who completely updates her wardrobe every season. Hence, small implications that Jin is chilly.

Here are some "bonus features" I guess? My preliminary costume sketches, done in pen and marker, and a drawing of Jin done in watercolor and digital (with the phrase that inspired it below).

Lumine took a deep breath, and tried to build up some courage before attempting this very embarrassing dare..

It was night time in Teyvat, which was already a good start. No sense in lulling someone into a mid day nap after all.

After a quick teleport to the Wangshu inn’s waypoint, Lumine carefully made her way up to the balcony, since she knew Xiao usually slept in the tree branches on the roof.

She did a quick one eighty look around before quietly calling his name.

okay, i'm not saying that feeding barton would just straight up diffuse barton's need for being a murderous gremlin because that is just so deeply ingrained him in now that it's not even funny, but i'm also not saying if you — say — placed a quesadilla in front of barton right before he was about to do about something horrible to someone... that there couldn't be at least a bit of a chance he would think about eating that instead
