I am 29, I go by she/her pronouns, and I use this blog to post my fanfiction as well as my general fandom ramblings and such. I am primarily interested in Ikevamp and Ikepri, though I generally like other eng cybird games as well.

I am pretty explicit at times, and primarily write smut, so I do not want minors following me.

✧ I am not a stickler for IC / OOC. I believe that since we're not official writers for these games, everything we write is OOC. I personally will try to stick to my belief of what I think IC for the character based on what I interpret from the game and don't like arguments about this.

✧ I enjoy gentle femdom, and so loose aspects of that (if the fanfic is not centered on that) will sometimes pop up. It's been a while since I've written it, however.

✧ I usually don't see any of the characters as strictly straight and so will ship suitors together at times, or have the suitors romantically interested in each other when writing polyships. I will also reblog trans hcs and such too if I enjoy them. If that bothers you please just leave me be.

✧ Due to liking Gilbert, I'm now able to have a character I feel like I can explore kinks and themes that I felt like I couldn't with Isaac. Unfortunately, Isaac is the outlier in my normal flavor of faves from before the cybirdie games.

✧ I write for myself first and foremost. If you dislike it, just leave me alone.

✧ Always happy to answer qs about my fics or blog

✧ I have a lot of issues IRL and so it's hard for me to write often, and guilt associated with this is why I do not do requests often.

✧ I don't fuck with people who turn writing into a weird fight for popularity with each other, or who just write for notes/attention rather than the joys of creating. I prefer having a healthier relationship with writing and fandom content as a whole!

✧ I am unsure of how others view me, but I am rather anxious and shy, so I often do not reach out to others. I am also quite busy when I am online, and so messages may be neglected since I do get a good amount of them. I Love to talk to others!! I do not mind (polite) asks and such!! Just....busy.

✧ A huge part of fandom for me is reading other people's interpretations of characters. I think discussion surrounding characters is fun, and I enjoy seeing the various conclusions people come to about how a character is. Because of this, you may see me 'contradict' some things ive written when reblogging others works/discussions, or even discussing things on my own. It's just fun to consider a character through multiple angles.

✧ I can't figure out tone often with the use of anon, and in general I don't do well with 'overfamiliar rudeness' with people I do not know. So please no playfully rude messages on anon.

✧ I treat everyone as equally as possible. More specifically I do not believe there are '#1 fans' of charas, I don't think a follower count = fandom respect levels, etc etc. Unfortunately if you're pretty rude to me, even after a chance to step back, then I'm likely going to be rude back/block. Don't be a weirdo about this.

✧ I've had this blog since 2017, and I've been writing for longer than that. I like being creative, even if I struggle a lot. I am lucky enough to have my writing in a physical zine, and that is gouda enough for me.

✧ I consider this a writing AND fandom blog, and that is why I will make posts about fandom, as well as the games I enjoy, beside my writing.

✧ I used to create for My*me, but I no longer wish to participate with that fandom. If you ever have specific questions regarding my fanfics from that time, feel free to ask, but keep in mind I may not always want to answer.

EVENT 009 {DEC 1 - DEC 30} CHRISTMAS IN AURORA BAY PART 1

PART 1:

Christmas has finally arrived here in Aurora Bay! While sunny California won't allow for the snowy winter nights, Aurora Bay makes sure to bring the holiday spirit to everyone in town!

Businesses and restaurants will be decked out in Christmas lights and garlands, and the famous Christmas tree in the center of town will light up on the night of December 1st, signaling the openings of the Christmas Market!

The Christmas Market will have stalls from different businesses, local artists, and plenty of treats and hot chocolate! Snow machines have been brought in and there will be fake snow coming down and piling up in heaps on all throughout the market to truly make it a festive experience for your holiday shopping!

Cool Down Ice Rink will have special offers for groups who come in to skate to Christmas music, they will also be hosting a figure skating recital for those listed in the figure skating courses!

There will also be a Christmas light decorating contest! Those entering will be asked to decorate their homes with all their holiday spirit! Each neighborhood can enter and each neighborhood will be able to win "Most Festive"!

And last but certainly not least, the town will be having their annual Christmas parade! Those wanting to help with floats can!

PART 2:

Part 2 of our holiday festivities will be a Masquerade Ball held at the Seascape Hotel! All in town will be invited, and please note there will be a formal dress code and required masquerade masks! More info to come later in the month

OOC INFO BELOW:

Christmas is our favorite holiday so we wanted to do something special and fun for this event! Just like our Halloween event, this one will last the entire month of December!

Christmas Lights Contest Info:

We also want make sure everyone feels included! So we will once again be having a contest for muses, where they can decorate their homes with Christmas lights. You can also post pictures of what the interior of your houses look like since Ocean Crest only really has their balconies. Interiors will count for the contest as well, just be sure to put the pictures in one post!

If you want to participate, just send a message to the main and once your muse has decorated their houses interior/exterior, make a photo post with the their name, their neighborhood, and tag the @aurorabayaesthetic blog as well as tag it #aurorabay.contest. This way it'll be easy for us admins to reblog the posts as well as compile a list like we did for the Halloween Costume Contest.

Parade Float Info:

We also thought it would be fun if Aurora Bay had their own little Christmas parade! We will compile a list of different floats in the parade, but if you'd like to sign your muse up for working on a float and you'd like to submit one yourself, let us know!

Christmas Market Stalls:

Any business owners who want to have stalls at the Christmas Market can send us a message to the main to let us know! Same with any local artists we may have in Aurora Bay! (Feel free to google christmas markets to get a visual idea!)

The Markets will also have live music, so any of the bands or musicians in the group who want their characters to participate in that can as well!

Summary: Y/N has been living peacefully (or at least tried to) after graduating college and having the opportunity to work their dream job. Strongly getting by everyday and extremely determined to overcome the obstacles that will come their way. When they least expected it, a tragedy came, they were invited to their highschool reunion and there they reconciled with Tsukishima Kei, their highschool ex-boyfriend.

"What did you do with the apartment?" He asked as he continued to stare at the view in front of you two. Your hands still grabbing on to the railing like it's your lifeline.

"I sold it. A friend lives there now." You left the apartment the night you broke up. But the last message he sent you was him insisting that you keep it.

"I see. I guess you wouldn't want to stay there."

"Yeah." Tsukishima's heart shatters upon hearing your answer.

"We could get another one." He smiled awkwardly.

"Huh?"

You felt his hand grab yours and place it on his chest. Your mind went blank and all you could feel was the fast beating of his heart.

"Be mine again, Y/N. Please."

It is as if someone has poured a bucket of ice cold water over your head. You stood there, frozen and staring, just trying to process what he said.

"I—what? What is this?" Your mind was blank and you were only able to let out a few words.

"I want you to be mine again."

"I—no." The fear on his face was too much. "I—should—I'll get going, Tsukishima-kun."

"No. No, Y/N, please hear me out." He held both your hands this time, no plans on letting you go. The both of you stood there for a couple of seconds just staring at each other, trying to find the right words to say. You were at least slightly prepared to see him at this party, but you weren't prepared for this.

"Tsukishima-kun, I don't think this is a good idea. Please let go of me."

"Y/N, be mine again." His loud sobs filled the balcony. You look around and surprised that no one has attempted to go outside yet. "Please, Y/N. I'm still so fucking in love with you, I just can't let you go."

He looked desperate, completely different from the Tsukishima that was cool-headed and sarcastic before.

"I—I don't want to anymore. Please let go of me." Your eyes started to tear up and you couldn't figure out why your chest was tightening so much.

"I promise to… to give you everything you want. I'll make you happier this time around. I promise I won't lash out on you anymore. I—please just be with me." He looked at you with expectant eyes.

"It wasn't because you're mad, Tsukishima-kun. It was because," you hiccup unconsciously because somehow you were crying too. "because you kept running away. I don't think you still get me after all these years."

The tears continually streaming down his face, what a tragic sight. Your heart ached for the man you once loved.

"We still have a chance right?" His voice was shaky, almost a mumble, he was struggling and you could tell.

"We already had our chance and we blew it. You know we blew it. Let's just go on with our lives, please."

He went down on his knees and held my hand even tighter.

"No, no, I'm not ready to let go of you yet. I don't want to lose you. I want you back, come back to me, please. Sleep next to me again, I miss your warmth whenever you hug me. I miss your cooking. I miss how you play with my hair. I miss our bickering. Everything, I miss you so damn much. I think you're the only girl I'll be able to love. I-I know I was stupid, but I can change right? Y-you'll come back if I change right?"

"Please stand up, Kei. Don't kneel, please." You looked up to the sky partly avoiding the sight that's in front of you right now and partly trying to calm yourself. "Why are you doing this? You were the rational one, right? You were the one who's good at handling hard situations. Why have you become like this?" When you finally look down, you see him crying on his forearms still holding onto your hand.

"I just—I desperately want you back and… and I promise not to hurt you anymore."

"I promised myself I won't hurt like that anymore too. I'm finally starting to value myself and I refuse to be treated that way again." You took a deep breath and proceeded to let your heart out. "What you did really hurt me, Kei."

He lifted his tear-stained face, once again he was listening to you intently.

"I was alone at the most important and vulnerable times of our relationship. I know, you were the same. I knew and I understood that. You're going through the same pain as me. You were alone too. But I tried, Kei. I tried to fight for it, didn't I? I sought for you, I reached out. But I don't think you were willing to fight for us too. How could I fight for something as important as our relationship alone? How could I continue to fight when you weren't even willing to fight with me."

The both of you quietly stared at each other for god knows how long. You knew he understood. You removed your hands from his grip and wiped the tears on his face. You lowered yourself leveling with him and kissed him on the forehead.

"The next person you love," both of your tears fell in sync "love them with all your heart. Don't be afraid to be vulnerable when you're with them. I know you like to act cool thinking that people will like that more. But nothing makes a person fall harder in love when you are honest and open about your feelings towards them. Love again, Kei. And—and love them better."

Tsukishima looked up to you with all the hope gone in his eyes. He knew there was no getting back now. He knew he hurt you so much but you were still kind to him. He knew his heart would never fully heal. He knew he would regret losing you for the rest of his life. He knew you will never be his again. He knew but he never spoke. Then, you did.

"Let's not meet each other again."

You stood straight and headed towards the door immediately. You didn't think you could take it if anything more happened. The last thing you heard was his scream as he cried loudly again.

You left anyway.

I’ve been asked what my general advice for a new rper would be and it got long for IMs so here’s a post instead hfkjshdf I would prefer this Wasn’t Reblogged because I’m sure it’s imperfect and I don’t want my activity notes to explode ;v; Hope it is helpful though.

For me, personally, I consider mutual respect to be the most important thing. Most rpers have their own preferences and standards, some are rly picky, some not picky at all, some are very organized with extensive tagging systems, some blogs are not. Usually these sorts of things are listed in someone's rules/guideline page. My own rule page has gone through several revisions, and that's okay, if you have a bad experience or run into something you haven't before, grow and learn, your comfort is important! You are not obligated to anyone! Take care of yourself and if someone doesn’t treat you how you would treat them, there is no reason for you to continue to interact with that person!

A few general rping basics that Most ppl acknowledge would be...

Godmodding: determining what another person's character does without consent. There's not rly a point to rping with someone else if person A is trying to personally direct what person B does, also it's just pretty rude hfskjhdfs but I've seen it, multiple times, not fun. Don’t do that. Respect other ppls muses and how they want to write them, not how you think they should write them for you.

In Character/Out of Character issues: Sometimes people take personal offense to what someone's character does to their character, which can lead to all kinds of problems. Even if someone is writing a 'comfort character,' they are still fictional characters, and expecting an asshole muse to not be an asshole is rly unreasonable. I've seen a lot of villain muse writers especially struggle with this, but I’ve even had this problem in writing ‘good hearted character with a difficult personality’ not catering to another character the way they apparently wanted them to, without even telling me. Also, sometimes people let the knowledge they have ooc, such as from reading a muse's about or answered asks or interactions with other characters, be known to their character. Sometimes it can be logical, but sometimes there are private things that shouldn't be common knowledge just because the mun has read it. Again, this can be mun dependent, some don't care at all about this, but some can get very agitated hkfjshdf it's a good idea to ask the mun regardless if it's questionable for your muse to know about something.

Communication: despite shyness and anxiety, if someone is worried about anything, even if it seems small, it's always a good idea to just Check with your partner. Asking or Discussing is much better than having a build up of issues down the road from not talking and assuming too much of someone else.

Blog Format: this can get messy real fast. As far as I know, there are four main types. (1) Personals who rp. Essentially, normal tumblr blogs who also dabble in rping. Not particularly popular among a lot of more serious rpers because many of us are here to avoid reality and just have fun with fictional characters, so we’re probably not going to follow-back a blog that posts a lot of pictures/politics/content unrelated to whoever they are writing. But some are fine with this, so again, that’s a personal preference thing. (2) Single-muse Blog. A whole blog made and dedicated to writing a muse, which was the most prevalent for a long time, and also what I used to do. These blogs can send ic asks and etc directly from your rp blog without any confusion. But you also have to log in and out of each one individually. Great for ppl who focus on One or just a few muses for long periods though. (3) Multi-muse Blog. A whole blog dedicated to however many muses a person wants to write. Can be a few or m a n y. If someone doesn’t have a good tagging set up, these can be very difficult to navigate. But it can also be one of the most laid back to run, just adding and removing muses through a page or tags. (4) Roleplay Hub. Hello, it’s me. A hub is a blog dedicated being a source for sideblogs dedicated to specific muses, so you don’t have to log into multiple locations but still have individual blogs per character. I’m pretty sure I helped start this trend to be honest hfskjdhf

There are also ask blogs dedicated to just answering asks, oftentimes with art, but I don’t see those very often anymore, and I haven’t really seen those types of blogs actually making rp threads, doing heavy plotting, etc BUT I COULD BE WRONG don’t hold me to that;;;;

This blog is Completely headcanon based being there is no offical Transformers Prime Shattered Glass continuity. I take some inspration from the oringal G1 Shattered Glass comics but everything else is my own! While this blog is mostly Prime/Aligned, I may add/take some elements from a few other continuies such as G1, IDW and Animated.

This is a side blog to @fatesyetunwritten, which plays as an OOC hub for the blogs connected to it. So obviously I cannot follow you with this blog but my main. Even though not necessary, I also recommend following my hub blog as well being that’s where most PSAs/OOC updates in regard to ALL my blogs will be posted. Personal blogs are free to follow, but I do ask you don’t comment/reblog/reply/etc to any IC threads or post. Same implies to post that say ”//DO NOT REBLOG” or -DO NOT REBLOG-” in the thread/tags. If any of these rules are broken I will block you! I won't even give you a second chance, you're out! If you are a personal and do have a sideblog, PLEASE contact me telling me so. I’m more than likely not going to know otherwise unless I followed you first and it’s noted. My IM/askbox is always open. Guidelines

I am selective and will only roleplay with mutuals. Just because you follow me doesn’t guarantee that I will back. I often look at the muse, content and mun beforehand before making up my decision in doing so. Do not force/guilt trip me into following you!! Putting aside it’s rude and selfish to do so, YOU WILL BE BLOCKED WITHOUT A SECOND THOUGHT!! Muse doesn't equal Mun and vice versa. This should be obvious but sometimes people do confuse fantasy and reality. Please don't confuse the two. No Godmodding! This is standard fare I don’t think I have to elaborate more on that. If possible Please trim your post. I won’t get up on anyone's case about it if you don’t, but it’s considerute to do so. Keeps the dash clean. Also transfer ask to a new thread if you wish to contiune it. Same reasons as above: Keeps things clean and orgainzed. Don’t worry about formatting/using icons in your post! Just because I like to time to time doesn’t mean you have to follow suit. Write in whatever style that works for you. All I ask is that you use proper grammar and spelling, or at least enough for me to read your writing. I’m not perfect neither so don’t sweat it if you make a typo there and there.

Shipping and Relationships

Let’s get this out of the way:I’m a shameless shipping whore! I love shipping and building relationships. But I won't just jump onboard to a ship however Like most relationships, there needs to be Chemistry. If the two clash off each other well, we can discuss things further. Each ship (unless said otherwise) has it's own verse and not overlap with other ships... This doesn't just imply to romanatic ships! Friendships, kinships, hateships, YA name it!. As I said, I'm a ship whore. I’m also a fan of AUs! Give me some of those AUs bro!

Mature Content

Both me and my Muse are of age and won’t shy away from mature themes. All NSFW threads/ask/etc will be tagged as such, along with any triggers that need tagging. In worst cases, like a hard R (which is rare), I will put everything under a read more flither. Themes include, but not limited to: Violence, blood or/and gore, alcohol and drug use, depression/PTSD, abuse and (maybe?) sexual themes. I will also likely The only things I will not roleplay are anything to do with rape, sexual assault, pedophila and/or incest. I'm open to roleplaying smut but I will be extreamly selective on who I write with. I have to feel comfortable with the mun plus likely already have to have an establish ship going. I will, by no circumstance, roleplay sumt with minors!! NO ITS, NO BUTS! If I learn you are lying about your age, consider yourselfPermanently blocked with all threads deleted.

Who I’ll Interact With

Well, obviously I will roleplay with other Transformers characters, (Not limited to just Prime). I’ll roleplay with just about almost all fandoms. I am a bit more selective over fandoms I'm not too familiar with but that doesn't always mean my doors aren't closed to them neither. To put it simple: If a muse interests me, I'm more than likely on board. What is always the case however is that I will not, and I do mean WILL NOT roleplay with muses base off Youtube Let’s Players or any real life people WHAT SO EVER!! Sorry, I’m sure a good share of you are fantastic people, but it’s something I am simply against mortality. I’m open to roleplaying with OCs both fandom base and/or fandomless, but again, I’m still selective. I always check out the mun’s page before following and if I don’t see a bio for your OC, I will simply not follow. I can't interact with a character I know nothing about. Really, a good indication that I want to interact with you is if I follow you, either before or after you do.

The Mun

Name: Jessie/Sweets Birthdate:August 2nd, 1989 Hello loves~ So...about myself: I love to write if it wasn’t obvious yet, but some of my other hobbies include but not limited to: Drawing, video games, comics, animation. The general geek crap. I like to believe I'm a down to earth and chill person to hang with so don’t feel shy to start a conversation with me outside of our general roleplay affair. For OOC post, Doctor Nefarious from Ratchet and Clank and/or Wander from Wander Over Yonder as faceclaims but more incline to use the former. Things to keep note of: I am diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. This can at times affect my abilities to socialize and communicate normality and at times even makes it hard to pick up cues if not direct enough. Miscommunication could happen and if I misinterpreted/stepped over the line/did something uncalled for that I’m unaware of; You shouldn’t fear about addressing the issue to me privately. I don’t do things on purpose. Most people don’t. And more than half the time, these problems can be addressed by talking it out. Communication and understanding is key to be a successful roleplay partner. The last thing I want is to make my friends unconformably and treat them with respect and I expect the same! I also suffer from depression and anxiety and can affect my mood, as well as my will to interact/socialize that day and may even not want to be bothered. This never has anything to do with the other Mun, this is me and Me alone! My mental health comes first after all and I’m sure you all can respect that and vice versa. Roleplaying is a hobby for me, not a job. I go at my own pace. With my mental health addressed; it can play into how active I am. Some days I can write replies/threads like no ones business, others I can be sluggish and not want to do anything. Do not pester me for replies! They’ll come when they come. Thankfully, I don’t have many triggers. Nothing that I can’t blacklist anyways. I always make sure to read the Mun’s rules but if there's anything you need me to tag that I may have glace over, don’t feel shy to speak up about it.

As with plenty of divided opinions: I prefer the middle ground.

If I dig an old old meme from a meme archive and two minutes later someone reblogs it from the same archive, I don’t feel happy that they avoided adding activity to my notifications page. I feel like they tried to be - and flailed - sneaky and pretend they don’t know me and it was them who found this meme. No. If you’re going to reblog a meme you saw on my blog, then have the guts to look me in the eye and admit to the world that yes, you’re taking it from me.

The idea that you HAVE TO send something in if you reblog a meme from someone is obnoxious. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and it’s fine. You can reblog it now without feeling the guilt of not sending anything but you might send something next time.

On the other side, treating someone as a meme archive and NEVER sending anything in is assholish. IC interactions can be hard and unfitting but it’s an extra WTF if the meme one reblogged is OOC or headcanon.

So yeah, somewhere in the middle. MAIN HUB BLOG/SIDEBLOGS: My main roleplay hub blog is knightinsourarmor and I follow, send asks, and like from there. I currently have seven sideblogs, one for each of my muses. Todoroki Shoto (repressedkindness), Pro-Hero Todoroki Toya (hopelesslypersisting), Amajiki Tamaki (sunlitsoul), Novak Castiel (BNHA verse for SPN canon) (shatteredoptimist), Kambe Daisuke (unwaveringdetermination), Levi Ackerman (dreamsofregret), and Castiel (defectivesoldier). If somebody follows me on any of these sideblogs, I’ll assume they wish to interact with them. You don’t need to follow my main blog, but I suggest you do so. On my main blog I post ooc posts, muse updates, activity updates, memes, starter calls while any testing muses will be portrayed there. If I find you only follow my main blog… You either haven’t read my rules and my muses page or you only care for my ooc shit?

REPLIES: I want to study as a med student and have to work at the same time. That means that I can be really slow when it comes to replies. I wish you understand and don’t feel offended or lose your interest if I take some time to answer our thread. I believe in quality over quantity. Some days I might reply to specific people. That has nothing to do with you or your writing. I just might need to roleplay a specific matter or thread or enjoy someone’s writing too much and need to focus on that for some time. Not replying may also mean the exact opposite. That I can’t come up with a good enough reply compared to yours and need some more time.

MUTUALS/NON-MUTUALS/FOLLOWING: When I follow someone, I have read their rules, about and verses pages, and some of their threads. If someone follows me and I haven’t followed back in a week or two, that means I’ve checked their blog but I can’t find myself writing with them. Non-mutuals can send me asks, like my starter calls, and reply to my open starters. If after some interactions I find myself interested in their writing, I will follow them back. When I become mutuals with someone and if I am not on a hiatus or semi-hiatus, I’ll write a small starter to break the ice. Nobody is forced to reply to it.

AGE: I am over the age of eighteen. I won’t write with anyone younger than the age of sixteen. I am open to roleplay almost anything and this will be a free NSFW blog. I won’t roleplay anything which will be considered R-rated with minors, meaning anything that includes sexual themes, intense graphic violence, drug abuse, etc. but I am open to write most things if both muns are of age.

TRIGGERS: I tag the triggers my mutuals have on their rules/about page. A doc with all the triggers tagged will be added soon. If you need me to tag a specific trigger, feel free to send me an ask or a message. I tag triggers like: ’#tw: yourtriggergoeshere’ without the quotation marks. My own triggers are ridiculous ones, but I’d be grateful if you tagged them. It’s aliens and cockroaches. That’s the reason I won’t be writing with any roleplay blogs having alien muses (those having a disgusting non-human form).

TAGGING: I have a very specific tagging system. If someone doesn’t want to see a specific character or faceclaim (you’ll need to block the character’s name again) on their dash, I tag the character in both threads and fanart as: #|| (ch.) character name || . For most anime, their last name goes first, except Shingeki No Kyojin (Attack On Titan).

SHIPPING: I prefer male x male relationships. I am a little picky with female OCs because of bad past experiences. I do not mind age gaps as long as both muses are adults (p.e. Levi x Eren) but I will not ship a young muse with someone who is like a father figure to them (Aizawa x Shoto). I am very slow to ship, for the reason I like building a relationship through threads. If there’s chemistry, feel free to discuss shipping or like my shipping call.

SMUT: I will not write explicit sexual scenes anymore. For muses of age and muses with high sex drive, depending on the chemistry between our muses, the limit is foreplay. Most of my muses are asexual. For them, it is very rare to happen anything more than kissing and cuddling. I will fade to black. I do not feel comfortable writing detailed sexual scenes anymore, the only part that interests me is the tension and trust built between our muses and aftercare. Inappropriate language may be present for all muses.

DRAMA: I don’t care for any drama or witch hunts going around. If I see any on my dash, this will result in me soft-blocking or hard-blocking you. I don’t want to participate in any of these and I find them disturbing.

FORMATTING: I cut posts and use small text and icons. If my roleplay partner doesn’t use icons, I won’t use any myself.

MULTIPLE THREADS: I don’t mind having multiple threads with the same person especially if I enjoy their writing.

POST LENGTH: My writing style is advanced literate. That means I need more than a paragraph to roleplay with. One paragraph is fine still, but as long as there’s something interesting to reply. I don’t mind how long your replies are. Just take notice that I will probably mirror you and my reply will be the same length.

SELECTIVE: I am selective when it comes to writing. I need a paragraph or more to reply. I need to roleplay in third person and I don’t roleplay on DM. I roleplay on discord so if we are mutuals, feel free to ask for it.

MAINS: I have blogs/threads which I prioritize over others. This isn’t personal. I just feel more motivated to reply to those. I don’t have exclusives.

TRACKING/REMINDERS: I usually track my threads with an app but it takes a lot of my time. I try to use a tagging system even if it doesn’t work as well as I want it to. Don’t be scared to remind me to reply to something I might have forgotten. I could possibly forget to add it to my tracker but constant reminders make me lose my interest in the roleplay (if there’s any). I understand and appreciate for someone to tell me I have forgotten something. Myself, I will remind someone of our thread after two months or even more.

TIME-SKIP: Well, I’m someone who can enjoy something that is slow. I am pleased with anything as long as there’s some really good and inspiring writing (how many times have I said this?). I can keep a thread for years (and I have) and not be bored of it. If you start getting bored we can time-skip but I’d want to discuss this first.

DROPPING THREADS: Unless it’s a one-liner, I don’t drop threads. If you do drop one of our threads, I’d appreciate it if you told me.

ASKS: You are free to send an ic ask to all of my blogs. My main or my sideblogs, as long as you specify, I don’t mind. You can continue an ask I have answered. I actually encourage you to do so.

STARTERS: My open starters are actually open to everyone and don’t hesitate to reply to one if someone else already has. Then I’ll reply to another post and tag you. If I offer to make a starter and you accept and you don’t reply after a month, and if I have messaged you and you haven’t responded but you are actually active, sorry but no matter how specifically we have plotted our thread, I’ll assume you are not interested anymore and turn it to an open starter. I put some time into those and I don’t want it to be to waste.

CROSSOVERS/AUS: I really love writing AUs and crossovers. I enjoy the possibility of characters from other fandoms interacting with each other. I have crossover verses for some of my muses and more will be added in the near future. For characters from fandoms I am not aware of, I’d like to write with them on a modern verse or one both muns agree on. For those characters, I’ll treat them like OCs.

OCS: I enjoy writing with OCs, as long as they have enough info and our writing mesh well. For most OCs, our first thread will be one that our muses get to know each other for the first time. I’d like for them to meet as complete strangers and let their relationship build naturally.

ENGLISH: English is not my mother language. I have learnt English completely alone and it’s something that has been hard for me. I understand telling me if I have made any mistakes or ask me if you didn’t understand something but I won’t take any criticism.

MEMES/FANART: This is something I had recently started to be annoyed with. Please, do not use me as meme or fanart source. This goes for roleplay partners or not. Please, reblog memes AND fanart from the source.

alright alright alright !!! since you said any muse , i kinda went HAM !! i ended up choosing a bunch & i could go on but i don ’ t wanna overwhelm you with these whacky ideas . i also added mini plots at the bottom of each plotting guide thing . all under the read more !!

mini plots / ideas :

- i’m really feeling the idea of rui & kiri becoming friends or at least friendly with each other , but that’s something i find happening after a long period of time .

- as a twelve kizuki , it’s known that rui gets a lot more freedom than average demons - so i think he’ll take full advantage of that & ‘ decide ‘ on whether or not he’ll let muzan know about him ( or at least decide on whether he wants to bring him to muzan ) . since muzan see’s everything he does , he is kinda already aware of kiri but he has his priorities elsewhere , so he leaves him to rui

- rui will ( maybe - just a thought ) , may be sensitive to kiri’s abilities or magic ( his gentle & calm nature ) considering most demons with a lot of power can sense certain things about a person ( like whether or not a person is a hashira or has abilities like one ) . he’d feel at ease around him , but this may be odd for him at first . since muzan has a tight grip on the kizuki ( as you know ) his memories are gone but this comfort makes rui feel whole in a way - like he found what he’s missing , or at least found the warm feeling he’s missing , not the concept ( the family ) . the memories of what he’s longing for might start to become invasive , forcing him to confront his past as a human .

- considering kiri is very in tune with humanity given he’s the only omni lord to live among humans as if to be one himself , i can see him finding rui to be very very ‘unpleasant’ to put it lightly . he’d most likely be disturbed by the fact that he eats humans and that there are plenty more demons out there that do this . what compels kiri to further engage with him ( ? ) , many things could ; like wanting to stop him from killing more people , eventually leading kiri to find out that he was once human and that other demons are the same way .

- after finding out , i can see kiri being sympathetic but still not forgiving him for what he’s done . maybe he’ll want to put an end to the man that started it all . plenty of other things can happen as well !!!

- oooof !! ( YES YES YES YES !! ) idk , kinda excited about the idea of muzan coming across something that ( i believe ) would be more powerful than him — especially since kiri’s status as an omni lord is incredibly otherworldly . it’ll be far too much for muzan to comprehend at first , i think he’ll be puzzled with kiri’s existence ... then possibly want to eat him up ( nah nah nah , i won’t let that happen ) !! but he’d be curious as to what eating an omni lead might lead to .

- he’ll most likely want to collect information from kiri about other worlds , other beings & the like . he might even view him as an equal , encouraging kiri to assist him in his journey to become the perfect being .

- while kiri is often depicted as gentle by nature i can see him being enraged by muzan to the fullest . i think it’d be nice to see kiri out in a situation where he’s fact to face with pure unforgiving evil . how would he confront this without gao —- i’d love to explore this idea .

- also , i think muzan being around joker would be funny . he wouldn't attack him or anything ( mostly out of respect for kiri ) but he’d be soooooo annoyed with him .

- this one would be very funny . now , i’m sure kiri isn’t used to being the one who people hide behind , but with zenitsu that would change . i think they would be a strange mix but something really fun to explore .

- kiri would have to put up with zenitsu’s screams of terror , lol . he’ll definitely be the voice of reason between the two of them & i can see kiri consoling zenitsu a lot . having kiri taking charge in their relationship is something i can see him being capable of . & while zenitsu is as well ( sometimes ) , there definitely some moments where he is too fearful to . in these moments kiri could be there to help him out .

- i think they can balance each other out & encourage each other through tough times . in times where kiri’s in distress & needs some support . zenitsu will definitely be there for him in these times & i think it’d be really sweet .

- the sweetest boys becoming friends !!!??? HELL YEA BUDDY !!! imagining these two becoming friends would be the best thing ever .

- i really like the idea of the two hanging out during the night with nezuko & joker & just chilling , since tanjiro loves introducing his sister to new people . tanjiro & nezuko would be fascinated with joker . if this were a combined universe , i think tanjiro would love to participate in buddyfights with kiri . also , if there were any monsters that came to earth illegally , he’d be like ‘ kiri , we gotta do something about this - we have no time to wait for the buddy police !! ‘

- tanjiro would be very supportive of kiri in everyway . he thinks he has a very pleasant scent -- a scent of a really kind & gentle person , something that is hard to come by in most people ( well , it would be vey unique considering he isn’t human after all ) . i can see him treating kiri like a little brother , giving him head rubs n all that . even after finding out his true identity !! also ,,, if anyone dares harm or talk badly about him , tanjiro will headbutt them !!!!

- giyu needs some fucking friends -- he really does . this poor mans is the only hashira without a pet ( even sanemi has a pet - that scary looking fella ) cuz animals don’t even like him , lol .

- seriously though , giyu would be grateful to have kiri as a pal , or mentor him in a way . he’d be reluctant at first cuz he’s not much of a talker , but since kiri doesn’t have an overwhelming personality , i think he’d warm up to him very easily . giyu would probably hint at the thought of kiri joining the corps just so he could take his place as water hashira cuz he’s an emotionally tired boy .

- also , with joker , i think giyu would be slightly irritated with how much he talks , but if he ever referred to him as a friend giyu would be very happy — accepting his talkative personality & warm up to it .

- i had a strange idea -- hear me out !! carmen is known for stealing stolen artifacts from thieves & bringing them back to their rightful owners . since buddyfight has a lot of criminals in the series , why not have her help out in intercepting these crimes . it could even be a crime committed by the grim reaper .

- i don’t usually do pre established things ( & you can opt out of this if you’d like of course - or add something else to it too ) but what if carmen met kiri while she was in the middle of a caper . they briefly spoke & got to the bottom of that crime ( could be something involving aibo ) then parted ways . then in the future , they meet again , but kiri is now the grime reaper & stealing from other buddyfighters ???? idk , just a thought i’m throwing out there .

- there are plenty of angst that could take place between these two . shirou & kiri both share the fear of losing the people they care about . in shirou’s case , it’s because he lost his family after an avalanche hit their car while they ascended a snowy mountain . his parents , along side his younger twin brother ( who he often relied on ) died . because of this incident , shirou developed ptsd & did . i’d really like for these two to find comfort in each other . also ,,, shirou would love to play soccer with kiri & do a whole bunch of snow related things like ; snow boarding & having snow fights !!

* HOW I RUN MY BLOG .

SPEED: If it weren’t obvious by now, I’m really slow. Unfortunately, I work in a job where my shifts are constantly changing from week to week and I rarely have more than a couple of days off at a time, so I’m not the most reliable when it comes to replies ( both IC and OOC lately, as my social battery has been running on empty for a while now ). All of my replies are queued to space things out and give myself time to catch up with things, but while it can take me a long time to respond to things, I promise this is in no way reflective of my excitement over our threads/asks — I’m thrilled to write with each and every one of you, regardless of how much time has passed since I last responded!

REPLIES: I tend to try and prioritise threads over asks, unless I have a stroke of inspiration for something in my inbox. In terms of length, I tend to favour multi-paragraph threads as I have a habit of getting engrossed in the details and I end up pumping out masses of paragraphs detailing the thought process/feelings of my muse, as I’m constantly learning new things about my muses that I’d like to develop or explore. However, I need to make it clear that I don’t expect any of my partners to match my length when responding to our threads. Write as much or as little as you feel comfortable ( so long as I have something to respond to, I don’t mind! ), and I’ll do the same!

STARTERS: Due to personal preference, I no longer plan on posting starter calls. However, that doesn’t mean I won’t be writing starters at all — I’d much prefer to plot something out between our muses ( even if it’s something vague just to start us off ) beforehand and kick things off that way, as opposed to completely winging it.

INBOX: I have a tendency to hoard asks until I find inspiration for them, as I prioritise threads over my inbox. As ever, I’m slow as heck, but I very rarely delete asks unless I’ve lost muse for something. Reblogging memes will be something of a rarity from hereon out ( headcanon and OOC memes are exempt from this ) as I can find them a little repetitive if sent multiples of the same sentence. With that said, I am very fond of unprompted asks, both sending and receiving them, so I’d prefer for my inbox interactions to be geared towards personal asks. When sending in memes, I do tend to try and personalise them for a bit of originality.

SELECTIVITY: As time has gone by, I’ve slowly gotten more and more selective. It’s very rare that I follow someone without writing on their blog or with a muse(s) that I am unfamiliar with, and I point-blank won’t follow someone who doesn’t list their alias in their rules or if they engage in any kind of hatred or negativity towards fellow roleplayers or marginalised people. If I follow you, chances are I’d like to interact at some point, but due to my patchy activity this won’t be an immediate reality, so please keep that in mind! This is a hobby, and I’ll be treating it as such.

WISHLIST: I don’t have a tag for anything wishlist related, but I do tend to have things I’d like to explore for most of my muses, which I’d be happy to talk people’s ears off about! For the most part, I tend to come up with ideas when plotting out dynamics between muses, which in itself spawns ‘wishlist’ ideas.

HONEST NOTE: I have a very low attention span, so I tend to flit between muses or focus very strongly on a few in particular. I thrive best when we have a goal in mind for our muses, whether that’s a plot or a relationship we’re working towards. I do often feel guilty about my activity levels and the fact that I have very little energy to chat with people as much as I’d like to, but please know that I will get back to you as soon as I can and with heaps of enthusiasm. I promise that my flightiness has nothing to do with you!

Like, I don’t mind people writing what they want, for whatever reason they want, it doesn’t hurt anyone, as long as it’s tagged and easy to filter out. But when they don’t tag…even after several people ask them to…

Like, back in the days, there was this big name Gendrya writer (they later moved on to Jo*sa, so that explained a lot), and they had this thing for manly man, dominant Gendry, which was fine and all if they got it right. But they rarely got it right, there was this fic (and I saw it still being recced earlier this year, so ugh), where Arya is being forced by Jon to marry Gendry, (it was a very OOC Jon as well, he claimed the Targ name, but also decided to keep reforged Ice for house Targaryen instead of returning it to Bran, because he was an ableist shit), and is guilted into it after refusing several times. Gendry had fought with Jon against the Others, (while Arya was still in Braavos, and I think she was blamed for that as well), and demanded Arya as his bride. Gendry was portrayed as possessive, controlling and sexist, but that was never acknowledged as a fault, he was also written as being better than Arya at things she prided herself at, like horseriding and swordfighting. He also forced her to marry in a sept instead of the godswood. I think there even was a scene where Gendry decided to punish Arya by spanking her against her will, and saying Ned should have done it to her as a child (conveniently forgetting how Yoren and Weese would cane her, Weese to the point where blood ran down her thighs) but somehow, even after all of that, the author refused to admit they were writing an abusive relationship, and refused to tag it no matter how many people asked it of them. They even implied that Arya being so scared of Gendry that she pulled Needle on him, somehow made her the abusive one. Oh, and I think I remember the fic lowkey bashing Arya, calling her selfish and childish, and they also made her say Gendry was too good for her, even after she was treated like shit by him and everyone. Sorry for unloading on you, I still have so much anger about that fic even years later, and I never really got the opportunity to rant about it until now.

So yeah, I totally get you, those fics should be tagged (at least the author did the bare minimum and tagged it as “Creator Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings”, because at least that implies there’s something in there to be wary about)

Oh god, I know exactly what fic you’re talking about. I’m ngl, it had some good sex scenes, but the actual text was horrific. You’re right, it showed such contempt for Arya, to the point that I wondered why the author was writing for her if they so clearly disdained everything about her. She was bloody-minded, capricious, immature, spoiled (!!!), and basically all of her defining characteristics were either erased or warped into flaws to be corrected. I mean, Jon (Jon!) viewed her with suspicion because she was too damaged for them, and the only person she was close with was Sansa (*eyeroll*). And the spanking scene. The spanking scene. Gendry spanked her against her will, while she tried to force herself to endure it despite her discomfort with the situation, and he only felt bad about when he found out she was pregnant because it’s fine to use corporal punishment on your wife so long as she’s not pregnant. The whole thing was basically The Taming of the Shrew, in a situation where I did not sign up to read Taming of the Shrew. (I never would, by the way; fuck that play.)

And yeah, I think that one, much like that other hotly debated fic, was emblematic of a really disturbing thing you sometimes see in the Gendrya fandom, where Gendry is propped up as this pure-hearted hero and Arya needs to fix herself (or forcibly be fixed) until she’s worthy of him. And when I see that I’m baffled because to me, the thing that makes Gendrya amazing isn’t the “rebellious rich girl/guy from the wrong side of the tracks” dynamic. It’s their partnership. It’s how much they respect each other’s beliefs and talents, even when they’re pissing each other the hell off. I don’t want fics where Gendry is a spineless little victim or fics where he’s a bullying He-Man because they both ruin the chemistry between them, which is based on them struggling to maintain an equilibrium in a society that desperately wants to stratify them.

And you know, some people do want that. I’m not going to pretend I’ve never enjoyed dubcon before in other fandoms/ships; that would be a lie. But the crucial thing is that people reading Gendrya are going to assume that they’re in for a relationship between consenting equals. Some people think they can still claim that’s exactly what they’re offering when they write fics about Gendry holding Arya down to have sex with her while she says no or hitting her because he’s mad at her. They can’t. They can either switch to a fandom/ship more accustomed to that unequal power dynamic, or they can tag their shit.

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO RP WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?:

I’m good with doing anything I feel would be in-character for my muse to do.

I’m used to shipping him with women, but my portrayal of Raditz is bicurious/bisexual. Men mostly come at my muse with a competitive attitude in the past, so he has more of a preference for women.

Raditz himself might be less comfortable with being pushed out of his comfort zone in terms of emotional intimacy, but with the right muses he will get there. Eventually. Some will get it sooner than others depending on their personality and how they treat him. He can become emotionally withdrawn too if your muse treats him in a way he doesn’t like, or he feels pressured to say things like “I love you” too soon or when he doesn’t mean it. I wouldn’t take it as a bad thing though, because if he is saying he loves you soon, he’s probably just saying that to keep your muse appeased and get what he wants. My writing will hint to that if he doesn’t truly care about your muse.

I do tell people I won’t hold their hands for wooing my muse(s), but I do leave breadcrumbs in my writing and in asks and memes. If you are shipping with me or are interested in it, you have to talk to me directly OOC and do so on a reasonably regular basis in order to plot things out.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:

Any muse or mun under 18 is not allowed to ship with me or my muse, or put themselves into dating/intimacy situations either. If you are over 18 and your muse is at least 18, they’re fair game to Raditz. (Though I’d prefer if your muse isn’t that young.) He’s not into people who are a lot older than him that look their old age, and he might look down on a person who acts too young.

Keep in mind that Raditz’s age in canon is generally estimated between 29-35.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?:

I wasn’t in the past, but currently yeah, I am pretty selective. Dangerously close to being disinterested in shipping with other people aside from my two current shipping partners. I’ve just dealt with too much bullshit from ex-shipping partners.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?:

After the Tumblr Purge of 2018, it’s supposed to be ok to write naughty time stuff, but I’m still pretty much keeping NSFT things to Discord. (Yeah that means I’m finally comfortable writing smut again. Just in private, and only with partners I’m comfortable writing that with.)

When it comes to talking, anything that starts to get dirty with graphic sexual activity details is what I’d consider NSFW. Detailed descriptions of sexualized body parts, groping/stroking of genitals or breasts are things I consider NSFW. Also detailed sexual fantasy thoughts and emotions felt during physical activity can be too. Basically if you could get into trouble for getting caught reading it at work, or I don’t think the content is suitable for minors to be reading, I’d consider it NSFW and tag it accordingly. Since the Purge, my tags are #Lemon Goodness and #Touch of Citrus

Blatantly stating things like: sex, penis, vagina, kinky, “let’s fuck” or other such things, I wouldn’t think are worth labeling and tagging. Grabbing, smacking, or rubbing a butt isn’t NSFW to me unless said butt is bare and/or the muses are starting to do something sexual in nature.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:

Turles and Raditz were friends back when they were children. (No we don’t follow the doujinshi Dragonball Zero story as part of our canon.) At least until they became more distant with one another and Turles went AWOL from the PTO. In his Wished Back to Life verse, Raditz uses the dragon balls to wish Turles back to life, and now the two estranged friends are trying to get to know each other again. There is more plotted out, and we’ve had more interactions on Discord due to my busy schedule and the close IRL friendship between Skully-mun and I have. This is not our first venture into writing a ship together, so the friendship and eventual romantic relationship between the muses is something I look forward to since we’re such close friends ourselves who have been through a lot and we already know how to work with one another.

Launch and Raditz aren’t romantically involved at the moment, but he has a one-sided crush on her with a plotted plan to have them get together sometime after the Cell Games. They have a lot of rocky moments since they’re meeting at the lowest points of their lives in that AU. Also because Raditz is trying to adjust to life on Earth, and he’s not the easiest person to get along with. But there’s decent chemistry potential between them, and I enjoy plotting and writing with Reggie.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?:

Yeah. Otherwise I won’t recognize it.

Chemistry between muses can develop slowly or out of the blue, but I still need to see that Raditz is indeed interested in the other muse and confirm OOC between us muns before I recognize it as a ship.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:

Whenever I see potential chemistry. I like ships that help both characters grow as people, especially if it’s a positive relationship.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?:

Yep. Raditz’s blog is a multi-ship blog where every ship is its own AU.

ARE YOU SHIP OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?:

I enjoy shipping and crack!shipping with fandom stuff. When it comes to roleplay though, I just do my thing and see what happens. I want to see strong chemistry to write a convincing relationship between two characters when I ship for RP. I’m not fond of easy fluff or insta-romances, or the anime romance tropes that perpetuate unhealthy relationship habits. So I guess I’m more in the middle, someone who enjoys shipping on a healthy level.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?:

I like Raditz x Turles for M/M shipping. Thanks Skully-mun!

FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?:

I would appreciate it if people gave me my space on the subject if you’re interested/potentially interested in shipping with me and we aren’t already. Because I’m afraid I’m not going to be positive about it for awhile. Shipping takes a lot of time and effort with me, and I’m dealing with a physical illness that makes me a really slow RP partner. Not only that, but I’m still trying to get over how salty I feel towards shipping thanks to several ex-shipping partners who made shipping and roleplaying unpleasant for me last year because of how they use/used rp for toxic selfish reasons, and how their shitty behavior affected me and a lot of other people IRL. I really don’t want nor need any extra drama that often comes with shipping partners that I don’t know too well personally. So right now, I feel like I don’t have the proper attitude or time to devote to newer shipping partners along with my current ones. And I’m not sure when that’ll change. Where do we draw the line at what is considerably acceptable and what isn’t?

We all have morals, different ideas of ethics, and treat each other differently no matter how many times you scream equality to the rooftops.

I have seen people discriminate against one person for one wrongdoing and accepted another despite their many. To those people, it is a case-by-case basis. To me, I find one instance of child grooming and pedophilia to be more abhorrent than someone that never has anything nice to say (shit talk) about old acquaintances.

However, I have seen it swapped the other way around. I have been criticized and banned from places where people don’t even know me, based on my tumblr content from either 5 years ago or current. And then I see in their group someone I know that ERPed my friend when he was 15 and was hitting on him, all the while harassing and humiliating me (talking to Trade Chat about my sex life, that I killed myself, and that I am an e-slut apparently) those 5 years ago. To them, they are probably a decent good person and while it would make me uncomfortable, I have to accept I can’t use my friend (who is over the age now) as a shield- a means to call them hypocrites.

Why am I bringing this up you ask? Because I am tired. I am exhausted. I’m done playing the “who is too radioactive to hang out with.” There are very clear lines drawn in the sand as to who can go rot in a jail cell morally and ethically, and who can go rot in a jail cell for actual crimes.

Smoking pot in a state that has it illegal still? Sure they’ll get jail time, but to me their crime is harmless. Grooming a minor and sending explicit pictures to those younglings? Illegal and I hope they fucking die. It’s not just illegal Federally and statewise, but it is just absolutely disgusting.

And then you have the sexual predators, or harassers. I can only speak for myself here when I say if it was 5 years ago, and I was over the age of 18 when you said some pretty stupid stuff and possibly sent me explicit photos and other things and you never did it again? I have no hate in my heart for you. Especially if you were a typical cis dude. It’s no excuse, but if you say you learned from it and realized why it was disgusting and never did it again? Props man, props.

There has to be a point where you stop attacking, vilifying, and trying to ruin the lives of human beings that are still young enough to learn from their actions and actively show they are trying.

When we fail to educate those that commit to harmful behavior, then we have failed as a society. Because if your only goal is to abuse and hurt them far beyond the harm they caused, then it truly isn’t actions fueled by justice but by malice.

Perhaps that’s why I have the reputation that I do at times. Some call me an abuse apologist for just reblogging someone’s apology, some call me a drama monger because I spread awareness about abusive personalities that never change and never learn, and some just don’t like me based on whatever principal they have against my tumblr content which is really interesting because anyone that knows me knows I am pretty lenient and fair. I have even had the people that I hurt come into voice chat with me and be relieved because of how unbelievably friendly I can be, because I absolutely hate confrontation and will avoid it if possible.

But that doesn’t mean I should stop talking about what needs to be talked about sometimes. I even bitch at my friends, I have even dropped friends, I have made other people go into hiding because their behavior was unacceptable. But there are people out there that still believe I am an abuse apologist, despite being abused for 4 years myself. So instead of educating, I was labeled during a time I was still hallucinating about my abuse and going through every waking step of every day that was traumatized into my routine.

So I think when you forget there are other people behind the screen, some that just make mistakes. Mistakes that hurt people, and it shouldn’t be just brushed under the bridge for sure. But it is an age old saying to just learn from your mistakes. And if you punish people because you decided to take it upon yourself to be their judge and jury and ignore the progress they make a few years down the line? Honestly, you are just making a fool out of yourself.

When you hear someone tell you “Oh my god it was years ago, get over it!” it can be hurtful. Especially if you were someone personally hurt by this. Your feelings are valid! If you were hurt by someone irrevocably to the point the mere mention of their name sends you in a spiral? This post is not pointed to you. It is about the people that use your experience, your trauma as a means to just attack and hurt someone with or without your permission. To them, you are just the bullet in the gun they need to go after someone they probably barely even know, or were just looking for a reason to attack.

So when I see people pick and choose which harmful behavior and harmful person they associate with, it used to just anger me. Because they attack and go after people that someone I know has committed similar atrocities to that they have in their own guild.

However, I have learned to just.. stop. To get rid of that. It’s tough, sure, and I am beginning to have a mentality of “if I don’t like them OOC, but they’re around me IC, I will just bite my tongue and do what I can do placate the IC” and so far, it’s been wonderful.

It feels good, to not have this spite in my heart. Will it get me in trouble with some people? Sure, but I have to remind myself they absolutely do not matter in the grand scheme of things.

Because for years this community has tried to oust and get rid of specific people, some were innocent and some were not. But the amount of energy it took, the arguments, the hurtful comments and the anxiety especially I had to deal with was awful. It wasn’t healthy, and I used at times and made to look like a fool in the name of Justice. And what happened?

I became ostracized, by the very people that said they had my back. I dealt with harassment, and became a big big loner. I had no fun in WoW, and I was so alone. All of my friends left me. But there are some people I have sought out.. friends I didn’t think to do stuff with, but here we are.

And I am having a lot of fun. I still keep in mind people’s comforts, but I won’t be doing anything without their permission. And I sure as heck am not going to get into the business of telling my friends they have a Douche Canoe in their guild, because I am tired and I am done with all of that. :/

The only thing I will do is of course spread awareness about morally disgusting things like pedophilia and child grooming, as well as real nazi stuff and not just people making crass disgusting jokes.

Can you teach me how to roleplay like you do?

So, I got this ask over two weeks ago at a time when I was kind of busy and couldn’t spare a moment to answer, and I’m always very shy about answering asks late/afraid that whoever asked might not still be around, so i’m sorry it took so long and i hope you’re still around, anon! I’ve [answered an anon like this before on a previous blog] (i’m honestly!! still just as flattered when people ask me these things, i’m glad i give off the impression that i know what I’m doing) and some of that advice holds and some of it I would probably give differently? It has some useful links, though.

I don’t want to seem high and mighty like I think I’m some expert, because I really don’t!! I don’t think I know much better than anyone else and I mostly just try and follow the flow of others and follow my own instincts, but I know people being patient and trying to help me as best they could back when I started around 7 years ago is how I made it here today so I’ll try my best to help out under the cut!!

Please come off anon and message or IM me if you have a question that I didn’t cover, because I’m not all-knowing and I want to help but it might be easier to help if I know what specifically you mean by “how to RP like you do”!

Couple notes, I’ve only RPed from desktop and not from mobile, so most of my advice will be based on that, and a lot of it will be my personal preference not Solid Rules That Must Be Followed.

For starters, basic terms:

“OOC” - stands for ‘Out Of Character’; anything ooc is something the person running the blog is saying, not something said by the character.

“IC” - stands for ‘In Character’, anything tagged as IC is something said by the character. If a specific person is not referenced in the tags, a post being tagged as IC may mean it’s open to being replied to! If your url is in the tags, it means you can reply to it (either by reblogging or the reply feature).

“Indie”/”Independent” - independent roleplay blogs mean that they aren’t affiliated with anyone else and aren’t part of a closed rp group. This means that they can RP with anyone! Since they RP with anyone, they will RP with multiple versions of the same characters, but the interactions are generally treated like they take place in different universes.*

“Open”/”Open RP” - open roleplay posts are open for anyone** to reply to! If you see someone make an open roleplay and they follow you, you can reblog it with a reply!

“Starter Call” - if someone makes a starter call, it’s a post that anyone** can like, and the person who made the post will write the beginning or starter for a roleplay thread with each of the people who liked the post.

*“Mains” & “Exclusives” - if someone has mains and exclusives, that means that they have a default rp partner for certain characters. Mains are rp partners who are the most common or most referenced version of a certain canon muse and are always considered the ‘canon’ version of a character’s ‘main’ universe. Exclusives are rp partners who are the Only version of that muse someone will play with. So if I had an Exclusive Momo for my Jiro, I would only roleplay with that Momo, but if I had a Main Kaminari for my Jiro, I would still rp with other Kaminaris, just not as often as my Main.

**“Private”/”Mutuals Only” - mutuals are people who you follow that also follow you. you have to be mutually following each other to be considered mutuals! if a blog is private or mutuals only, that means they won’t write with people who they do not follow. So, even if they post an open roleplay, someone who they don’t follow is not supposed to reply, or like their starter calls.

Now, onto the actual RP itself. You probably realize this easy enough from seeing other people RP or from any experience you have with it yourself, but RP is a lot like writing a fic with another person! It’s best to stick to third person POV though a lot of people do good things with second person POV, and an important note is that the point of RP is working together! So, you want to try and give your partner something to reply to or work with in every reply you give them!

Basic example: If someone makes you a starter that’s like “What are you doing?” and you reply with “Homework, I need to focus so leave me alone.” then you aren’t giving them anything to reply to! Then their only choice is to let your character focus and end the interaction. Instead, you could reply with “Homework, can you help?” Similarly, you’re supposed to build off of each other; add something new to each reply, not get stuck in an endless loop of just reacting to what they said without giving them something to react to.And if someone asks you for a roleplay starter, make sure whatever you write for them is something that will be easy to continue for a long time! If you write a starter that’s just “Get out of my way.”, that doesn’t give them a lot to reply to, you know?

On desktop, it’s important to trim posts. That means deleting your last reply, so that the thread doesn’t take too long for other people to scroll past or scroll through. If you have the new xkit extension, then you can make the post editable there, and cut out your last reply. If not, or if you’re on mobile, you can delete all replies, and either copy and paste their last reply in or just leave it out.

You only control your character, so stick to writing your character! Don’t try to control your partner’s character; never write into your thread what the other person’s character is doing, unless it’s something THEY said they were doing already. Also, try not to force their character into something they didn’t agree with. “Character A punches Character B, knocking Character B off of their feet.” is rude to write into your reply, because it takes control away from the person who writes Character B, and doesn’t give them the option to dodge or decide how they take the punch!

Try and set up a rules page; a lot of people won’t follow if you don’t have a rules page. It’s important so you can make it clear what you are and aren’t comfortable writing, and what you are and aren’t comfortable with seeing from your partners.

If you write a canon character, you may not need an about page although it can be helpful, but if you write your own original character you definitely need to have some basics so people know what your character is like and how their character might meet them and what to expect from your character!

Using icons: People use images in their thread to show what their character is feeling! They don’t just use random images of their character, they use icons! This means that the images are supposed to always be the same shape and size. The default size is 100px by 100px, but some people go smaller or use a different shape. My icons are always 80px x 80px. I have a friend whose icons are always 66px x 66px. It’s easy to edit, trim, and resize images down with sites like online-image-editor.com, pixlr.com/editor, and photopea.com, and pixlr even has an express editor app that makes it VERY easy to edit, crop, and resize icons from mobile if you don’t RP from desktop! The key is consistency, your images don’t have to be the same size and shape as everyone else’s, but each of your own images SHOULD match each other!

If you play a canon character, don’t get shy because someone else plays that character! We call two people who play the same muse “duplicates”, and duplicates aren’t in competition! If someone RPs with one of your duplicates, that doesn’t mean they won’t be just as happy to write with you! The only exception is if they say they’re exclusives with that duplicate.

Formatting: lots of people use formatting in their posts! What constitutes formatting is small text, subscript text, superscript text, italics, bold text, and indents. Indents are just done by hitting space multiple times at the beginning of a paragraph. Small text can be done on desktop by hitting “ctrl + shift + -”, and subscript and superscript can be done by hitting “ctrl + ,” and “ctrl + .”. You can achieve these effects on mobile if you’re willing to go to the extra effort by putting it in html tags (you can google html tags for each of those things easily!). People mess with all this stuff just to make replies look to their own personal taste.

This got really longwinded and complicated and I lost track of where I was going with it in places but I tried to cover most of the basics of things that I think about whenever I RP! I hope it wasn’t too hard to follow!
