𝐃𝐄𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐋𝐀𝐘𝐄𝐑 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄. ( ran & rindou haitani — aka the criminals of the demon slayer corps )

this verse is intended for threads with other demon slayer muses or anyone who’s down to have a thread with them in this verse.

story

similarly to their original verse (with some inclusions of my own headcanons), ran & his younger brother rindou started a life of crime rather early. they grew up in a small village (something identical to that town tanjiro would visit to sell coal) where they were known for causing trouble. it started out as something most people in that time would be able to brush off, despite acknowledging that their actions weren’t necessarily acceptable. they fought other boys in the village, stole — but they were still liked despite all that. most believed they would grow out of it, they hoped. many of the men in the village fought others as well, caused trouble — so the actions of the brothers were not all that strange. they were amicable otherwise. they treated the elderly with respect & were charming, especially when they were together. there were some warning signs — signs his parents noticed but the locals overlooked so easily.

it was a bit strange, the way they fought other children. it wouldn’t even be classified as fighting, a correct way to describe it would be “one way merciless beatings”. & the lack of reactions when scolded by their parents always made them look so strange. their mother & father wondered if they were even listening half the time or if they even cared that they got in trouble. they didn’t show remorse, try to explain & justify their actions. it was as if they knew what they did was bad & accepted that — but did it just to do it. this made their parents worry for the other villagers. they viewed their sons as demons capable of all kinds of evil.

they weren’t wrong to fear them.

at the age of 13 they attacked two adult men when they got caught stealing. this incident was irregular as their targets never strayed away from their own ages & the results of the “fight”. the man didn’t make it out alive & it was hard to tell if the men had a fighting chance. ran beat one man with his bare hands while rindou broke the limbs of the other, with ran later joining in to beat the other man to death as well. it all happened at night & they gathered all their stolen goods before vanishing to never be seen from anyone in their village.

the two often traveled to other small villages to get food, steal & killed when they need to. their primary targets were usually hungers or family homes far off info the woods. they’d loot them & taking their homes before moving on to travel around. they begun feeling empty. they were aimlessly wandering around with no real goal & soon enough this would change.

eventually they would find themselves face to face with a demon who was devouring a hunter in their small home. the demon was newly turned & the hunter had been their first meal. if it were a demon who had eaten a few more people prior to their arrival, the brothers would’ve been goners. they fought it off for sometime, with the two still suffering grave injuries, until a demon slayer came to promptly slay it. that night the two had been enlightened on the existence of demons & the demon slayer corps, asking the other if they could join as well.

after being sent to a teacher who practiced breath of stone they went on to pass the demon slayer exam & received their nichirin blades, however ran’s turned white & glistened gold when light hit the blade. he wasn’t suited to use the breath of stone, something their teacher had observed but continued to keep him as a student nevertheless. with the colour being new, their teacher couldn’t point him in the right direction for a path to follow. after this discovery, ran had sought out to learn a whole new breath style & upon encountering a breath of lightning user he picked up on some pointers — later refining some of their teachings & taking their advice to create breath of light.

the two went on to become rather strong slayers, eventually landing the rank of kinoto. they even managed to slay lower rank 6 — not without the sacrifice of many slayers to do so.

it wasn’t known at first, why a lot of corpses of slayers seemed to follow the brothers after a mission they were assigned. a lot of their missions were difficult, yes, but not out of the range of their capabilities. they didn’t need other slayers around but it was standard procedure to have reinforcements to keep locals in the area safe. for some reason every slayer that was assigned to aid them in battle would die. they had been called to pay a visit to ubayashiki to report on all their missions to clear the air. they didn’t confess to their crimes of using other slayers as bait & shields, even going as far as mercilessly killing them without much thought to protect them from attacks of other demons — but they did decide to stop unless it was absolutely necessary. they hadn’t met the leader of the demon slayer corps up until that point & just as everyone else who meets him, they were enthralled by his presence.

their crimes against the demon slayer corps became sparse, only killing other slayers when their own lives were in danger, their encounter with lower moon 6 being one of these incidences. this time being different because a crow belonging to one of the slayers who they murdered had witnessed the whole thing & reported it back to ubayashiki. the two were usually good about killing the crows of other slayers who witnessed their crimes but they had faltered this time around.

the two would find themselves in the same place they were before becoming demon slayers, they were on the run again but this time with the demon slayer corps on their tail. now, they kill both demons & demon slayers primarily those who pose an actual threat in capturing them. the brothers still have respect for ubayashiki & as such are willing to commit sepuku before the family as retribution for their crimes if they are caught & brought to the ubayashiki household.

WEAPONS & EQUIPMENT

— ran

Naginata: his usual weapon of choice. the length of his weapon would normally make any slashes & strikes slow, however he can move with ease as if to be using a sword. this speaks to his ability of speed.

Ninjato: the weapon he uses to quickly slice vertically at demons when in close quarters. his slashes with this weapon are hard to detect with the untrained eye.

— rindou

two wakazashi: his usual weapon of choice. with wakazashi’s being shorter than katana’s, rindou has become more mindful of using every part of his body to lunge off of things & use his surroundings to get at a closer range with demons in battle.

BREATH STYLE & ABILITIES

— ran

breath of light: a breathing style he created derived from breath of lightning & as such, the user relies on speed & quick strikes to deal damage with the slight difference being that it’s more graceful & can be described as smoother/softer.

breath of stone knowledge: he doesn’t use the breath of stone as he isn’t very good at using it. he has some knowledge pertaining to the techniques having been taught by a user for a year. ran has taken previous lessons into account when applying skills in battle, such as keeping steady footing on the ground before striking, primarily focusing on the positions of his feet (his tengu geta’s have greatly helped with this).

— rindou

breath of stone: his usage of the technique isn’t too far from the general nature of any techniques used in breath of stone but there are major differences in how he performs them when compared to someone like gyoumei (who uses a modified kusarigama) & another user who would use a standard katana. as stated before, with his wakazashi’s being shorter than a katana rindou has to use his surroundings to essentially lunge himself forward & close the distance between himself & his opponent.

UNIFORM STYLE

— ran

ran’s uniform is sleeveless with an open back, over his forearm he wears black arm sleeves & gold bracelets (image reference: 1,2). over top he loosly wears a black yukata with poppies & a skull with a dark blue obi with yellow lining (image reference: 1,2) exposing his back. wrapped around his calves are maroon bandages & he wears tengu geta’s over black socks. note: ran trained in tengu geta’s & it helped in creating his breath style.

— rindou

rindou’s uniform is worn like sanemi’s with all but one button is unbuttoned on both of his tops. his sleeves are rolled up past his elbows & on his hands he wears white gloves. over top he wears a long haori identical to his brothers (image references as above) with only one arm wearing it & the other out. just like ran, it’s tied around his waist with a blue obi with yellow lining. around his calves are burgundy bandages wrapped over black socks that are worn under zori’s.

FACTS

sure, they were qualified to become hashira technically, they never really wanted the glory if the freedom they wanted wasn’t included in the mix. being those to look up to for morality is dumb in their eyes. they’d rather lead a small charge of interesting people.

they don’t want to be demons for similar reasons as to why they don’t want to be hashira. there’s no freedom in being a demon, as far as they can tell. they can’t go out in the sun & they both see them as rather pathetic for this & being unable to speak their king’s name is quite telling. who they hell wants a leader like that. they also respect ubayashiki & wouldn’t go against him.

their rank is kinoto.

they still have tattoos & received them from foreign tattoo artists who tattooed illegally in japan at the time.

one way to tell if they’re around is if your kasugai crow is sliced up. they still target them to make sure they don’t report back to the ubayashiki family.

on the note above, they’re crows are still loyal to them shockingly. they’ve taken a liking to them! ran named his rio, she wears a small golden coloured silk scarf & rindou’s named his ishi & he wears a small red silk scarf around his neck. rio is close to ran but ishi appears indifferent about rindo.

kakeru futaboshi ! bnha verse

i don’t have kakeru’s bnha verse written up yet but, the gist is that he is an underground medical scientist that preforms illegal medical procedures on people & is currently looking to alter human dna to modify quirks in order to strengthen them & combine them with others without killing someone. he mostly offers medical help for criminals for financial compensation or supplies for his high tech shack where he does his work. he’s not a very loyal person to those he aligns with unless he sees a longtime beneficial relationship. even so, he’s likely to abandon or deliberately go against anyone if he wants. recently he has joined the paranormal liberation front for their facilities & offers some of his research over, keeping some a secret & doing subtle & secret testing on the members who come in for medical attention. almost forgot! his quirk is called gravity rush, it’s the opposite of uraraka’s — touching his finger tips together & touching anything can increase their gravity to his desired intensity with the draw back being intense migraines (& of course the more gravity increases the more insufferable the migraines).

outwardly, he’s very kind to those in the liberation front — it’s his usual false persona, his personality of a meek science nerd. he tends to go out of his way to help others & purposely acts like a hopeless klutz outside the intelligence he displays as a scientist. i’m sure he’d be particularly kind to nia so he can observe the effects of her quirk. he’d offer his time to research possible ways to alleviate the negative side-effects (his ultimate goal being to challenge his own capabilities as a doctor) even if the effort may appear bleak or pointless.

coffee duo honestly cuz this boy has eye bags for dAAYs (but often covers it with concealer).

as anti-social as he is, he wouldn’t mind having her around. too many weirdos in the group & he just can’t handle the wide mix of eccentric personalities.

even if he’s a doctor he likes talking about myths & legends as if they are real, especially if it’s stuff about astrology & of course stories & legends about the moon. i can see the two staying up late talking about all that kind of stuff!

the quiet ones always see the weird shit going on in the group, these two should talk about the chaos that they see. in these moments his crass personality would come out from here & there.

shego ! bnha verse

for shego’s bnha verse i decided that she came to japan to join the paranormal liberation front after the incident, cuz ya know, she loves chaos & the fundamentals of the group aligns with her own so the two can meet that way!

having just moved to japan shego’s japanese wouldn’t be very good so she’d probably ask nia to help out. everyone else she has asked to help with her grammar has always turned into some kind of big conflict. shego is not a people person in the slightest.

lol, it’d be funny if shego was extremely impatient with the other members except for nia & like most people didn’t address shego unless nia was around or if they really have to.

shego would talk about how she thinks nia’s quirk is pretty damn cool. it might find come off as insensitive cuz she doesn’t understand what nia has to deal with when she uses her quirk. she’s not the best with choosing her words but she means well.

keigo takami

hawks would probably be such a jokester. he can’t help but bring up the day they first met when she was dangling on that building. he’s the worst, i’m sorry!

her size is perfect for him to use as an arm rest & oh yes, he definitely notices this! oh god, & say he’s drinking something & needs to idk, tie his shoes he’d place his beverage on her head & proceed to tie his shoe like he didn’t just do what he did! nia, i’m so sorry!!!!

sleep doesn’t come easy to him considering all the stress he suffers from, especially with him constantly putting off truly addressing anything (not that he’d know how, it’s near unthinkable) & another symptom of his stresses would come in the form of nightmares. what if she saw one of his nightmares, especially if it was a nightmare about his fears about betraying the liberation front.

of course he wouldn’t know if she saw his nightmare but if nia started acting notably different around him he’d start getting suspicious. as a result he’d keep a close eye on her & try to take away any doubt she might have about his intentions. this honestly just means that he’d try to become closer with her just as he did with twice!

about the piggybacks, kiri is the only person who gets them. literally everyone else gets carried ‘disrespectfully’ & lifted by their shirts.

there’s gotta be a few moments when gojo has flown around with kiri on his back!!

gojo would totally let kiri adopt a bunny!!! since they move around a lot (& he doesn’t want to leave him behind) he’ll let him get one so he’s not so lonely all the time! by default he would suggest really silly names – probably something long too, like, santa’s little helper from simpsons but then it’d probably be like satoru’s little helper or something. as some more serious suggestions would be something like ‘parfait’, ‘daifuku’, ‘pancake’ or ‘pudding’ – pretty much suggesting names or treats he likes. then he’d use that as a segway to be all like; ‘speaking of! we’re going out into town’ then proceed to buy an abundance of anything sweet his eye catches for the two of em. besides, can’t think on an empty stomach!

gojo would go out of his way to learn random facts about rabbits & try to sprinkle it in conversations. sometimes the facts would perfectly tie into the things he’s talking about & would make a good example of to portray what he’s explaining, but a good chunk of the time it would miss horribly cuz of course joy comes to him in the form of others confusion.

oh no. i just realized, if joker & gojo meet, it’d be insanely funny & chaotic! the amount of puns would be insane!

gojo would introduce him to all of his students. especially panda! a lot of his students would be good with kiri (especially yuji now that i think about it) but panda would be absolutely the best! he’d be like a big brother to him & gojo would probably let them hangout while he’s busy with meetings or something. he would also trust shoko & the principle with him (tho only shoko would know the truth cuz they’ve been friends forever).

nanami has asked gojo why his nephew is calmer & more respectful than he is & further said that he should follow by kiri’s example.

nobara & yuji (& megumi would be dragged along too) would ask for kiri’s help to prank gojo — without a doubt!

it’d be funny if they baked together & were making something like cupcakes & gojo’s just look like trash while kiri’s look neat & tidy. nothing but excuses from him forever.

the two should grow fresh veggies for kiri’s cute lil bun. gojo would SUCK at keeping plants & would have never thought about it before. his patch would often be forgotten by accident but i’m sure kiri would probably help out with that!

there’s also the cute aspect that gojo making sure to let kiri enjoy himself as much as possible. considering gojo wasn’t raised like a regular child, he was put on a pedestal & ppl even feared him. it was instilled in him at an early age that he was special — like a god or something similar, & should be treated as such. it wasn’t something he liked of course & has resulted in him feeling lonely, not something he ever wants others to experience. there’s no way he’ll want miserea to feel this way & part of him would see a younger gojo in them to a degree. he’d fight tooth & nail to make sure things workout for them & has set up many safeguards to protect them all the while making lasting memories with the people around them.

The first character I first fell in love with: zanya & akatsuki kisaragi — as soon as these two came on the screen it was almost in a instant!

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: asmodai, kiri hyoryu, ikazuchi & doctor gara! i’ve rambled & rambled & rambled about these characters with my friends sm — there’s just no words to describe how much i love these guys without going into another ramble, they’re all just great & the way they grew on me totally had something to do with how i feel about them now! especially with how u wrote kir — just WOW!

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: mm, miko mikono & chibi panda (lil guy got on my neeeerves)? idk others opinions on these two but from what i can tell they have been generally received well but not for me.

The character I love that everyone else hates: i think a lot of the characters are liked by pretty much everyone to some degree, but i haven’t seen that many ppl like davide yamazaki! i was originally gonna add him in my first roster for this blog actually!

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: none!

The character I would totally smooch: grimoire. i just think he’s hot, no other reason!

The character I’d want to be like: dai kaido, outwardly with others. i’m like him with my close friends but i want to be like that with everyone (especially on here) as well!

The character I’d slap: kyoya gaen, holy shit. this guy tried to end the world how many times??? take a damn break!

A pairing that I love: there’s not a lot of canon ones soo i’ll go with one that the fandom talks about! gao mikado & kazane fujimiya!

A pairing that I despise: none that i can think of?????

Demon Slayer

The first character I first fell in love with: zenitsu agatsuma! the screaming, especially during the spider mountain arch... i felt that.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: akaza! he’s sooo great! he’s everything & i enjoy writing him too! i like how he’s a chatter box & how that may confuse the slayers he encounters! he’ll literally chat someone up, maybe have a decent convo & kill em! there’s other reasons too, but i’d ramble! i also looove kokushibou way more than i thought i would’ve

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: daki... i’m sorry i just can’t stand her! it’s not that i don’t feel bad, i just don’t like her that much.

The character I love that everyone else hates: gyokko! he makes me laugh but everyone else found him to be annoying. fair enough. i liked watching him get bullied.

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: none!

The character I would totally smooch: kyojuro rengoku, akaza, sanemi shinazugawa & mitsuri kanroji! a bunch of hotties— pfft! i’d also give yushiro a hug, holy shit. kiriya ubayashiki too!

The character I’d want to be like: nezuko kamado! she’s a really strong character, stronger than most ppl give her credit for! she was able to fight off the effects of muzan’s curse! she a really strong girl.

The character I’d slap: douma! he’s too damn much.

A pairing that I love: i’m a rare pair kind of person honestly & while my fav pairing isn’t controversial in any way, i don’t feel comfortable saying so just cuz i don’t want to even have a sliver of a chance of discourse.

A pairing that I despise: but i’ll answer this with a controversial take, not a fan of shinobu kocho & giyu tomioka!

yo, ran just cannot get enough of natsuo’s hands, holy shit! he loves his firm grip whenever he grips onto him & the feelings of his hands!!!! he just melts! HE MELTS OKAY!!!!

it’s the cold weather so natsuo better watch out! i headcanon ran as being a relatively warm person during the cold seasons but for some reason having notably cold hands. he’d 100% put his old hands on natsuo in places where it’d really get him. especially if he’s asleep & ran just happens to stop by, he’s rushing in his bedroom with his cold hands & placing them on his cheeks or back & he’d do it with such a nonchalant expression too, like :| :3

natsuo; “hey, what’s with those bruises on your knuckles”, ran; “these? oh, i got them from some kid. been a while since i’ve fought with my fists.”

natsuo, kiss ran’s bruises & give him some more — like yesterday!

ran would embarrass natsuo in front of his sister & then they’d probably tag team tease him together cuz they just would. natsuo out here making it too easy to make him blush!

if ran had a feeling he was about to get detained again & needed natsuo to bust him out as per usual, he’d simply send “😘” that would translate to; “soo, the cops are coming & im gonna get my ass dropped off at the police department for the ?????th time & i need help thaaaaaanks~♥︎”

ran would probably have zero respect for enji & would encourage natsuo to do rebellious things as an act of defiance. nothing too crazy as to not get him involved with the that #ganglife but with the way things are i’m sure one way or another something would happen (like a member from another gang finding out they’re together & doing some scum shit— what that is, not sure yet) & natsuo getting caught up in something — that would make ran so mad. he’d ask if natsuo would like get revenge & HOMIE….. wouldn’t it be great if they did some crazy shit together to get back at those gang members?!?!?!???!?!?!!!!???

& ran just finds natsuo so alluring when he’s mad, lmaoooooooooooo. just not words, just hearts eyes!!!

takashi mitsuya & ken ryguji

ok! okokokokokok!!!!!!! what if they got together in the current timeline, & it like…. just kinda happened???? like they both didn’t see it coming & at first didn’t know what to make of it, especially with the whole emma (& draken dead?… — we don’t subscribe to that belief here)???

best friends falling for each other is such a fun trope especially when they kinda go “yo, wtf… i love, love this guy– when did this happen?” then them realizing “hey it was bound to happen”

the mutual pining between the two while they try to figure it out would just be great. it’d start out as something small like subtle flirty comments, as a joke… then it’d keep happening & then “i don’t think it’s a joke no more” but since they know each other so well an eventual confession would be expected from either of em. it’s just a matter of when.

the constant catching the other staring fondly from afar — AAAAAAAA!

ryunosuke akutagawa & flora cloud

i have no particular reason why i want them to interact but the sheer fact that flora would have fun painting a portrait of him – THAT’S IT!! i don’t even think they’d get along but if she sees something or someone that inspires her art she’ll start sketching them. with permission of course!

i haven’t seen too much of bungou stray dogs & it’s been years since i’ve last seen any episodes at all but from what i can tell ryuno doesn’t seem like the friendliest of ppl (to put it lightly – lol) but flora is the type of person to be like “well you look human enough” & ignore signs that he’s not the greatest of ppl. living with a demon cat that attracts strange things to your house does things to you!

izana kurokawa & yuri plisetsky

idk exactly how these two would meet but let’s say they do, izana would find yuri to be of good company to him. from my own headcanons i kinda portray izana similarly to mikey but he’s a bit more reasonable than him, that pretty much entails that if izana finds someone amusing enough he’ll be persistent on keeping them around (he also has an odd sense of humour, one that usually has others being the butt of the joke).

izana is one for a good story, of any kind told in any medium! he’d find joy in watching yuri’s shows & probably want to talk about the story of his routines after each performance.

miu iruma & fumikage tokoyami

i haven’t written out miu’s bnha verse yet but the general idea is that she’s a quirkless second year in the support course who has made things for some hero agencies & she’s generally known as a hard person to work with because of the vulgar & crude words she says but she’s generally respected for the work she has done. because of the way she talks & having a knack for just being the absolute worst i doubt the two would get along very well but i think they’re interactions would be fairly silly.

she’s a very loud & proud person who tends to put down others in the worst way. she loves getting attention from others, especially in the form of praise but more often than not people avoid her & she has little to no friends because of this. it’d be funny if she latched onto fumi cuz she thinks he has no friends & that he’s lucky to hangout with a hottie like her in the first place.

she’d probably insult him & call him an emo or something especially with those edgy remarks he makes (i’m sorry, she’s too damn much). i’m sure he’d ignore the hell outta her & not respond after a while to which she’d start getting all teary-eyed cuz she genuinely didn’t mean it like that & just talks out of her ass as part of her tough girl persona. she’d promptly apologize & ask if they can still hangout. i can see this being a common thing happening a lot between them.

while she has created some useful things for ppl, miu has an inclination to create a handful of completely stupid things that make no sense (or at least a desire to). she’d often go into long winded tangents about her ideas to create things that allow ppl to do things while they sleep (like control thing with their mind n stuff) — comes from the idea that sleeping is a big waste of time that could be used for doing better things (an ideal future would be one where heroes fought while sleeping… this is the kind of person we’re dealing with here).

them lending each other their studded chokers, bracelets & harnesses & shopping for more.

miu: “hey! lemme say hi to dark shadow, i bet they miss me!” then she’ll proceed to give them chin rubs.

she’s easily terrified by many things but she’d invite him to a haunted house during the halloween season because she’d think he’s into that kinda thing. who knows if they’d even enjoy themselves cuz miu would either be screaming & crying loudly in his ear or running & crying.

miu would love to hear him play the bass but she’d never actually say so. how she’d show that she likes hearing him play would be her creating a bass guitar with a flame thrower attached.

miu iruma & keisuke baji

while writing stuff for miu & fumi i thought it’d be funny if her & baji met because it’d be chaotic af. she would act all tough as she usually does, especially since she would see herself as someone far superior than some street thug & because of this she’d try to roast him. i think these two would go on & on insulting each other & she’d easily get her feelings hurt because because anyone who talks back to her (even small children) gets her all frantic.

baji would honestly scare her but she’d still try to be combative towards him (please stop her, she’s insane).

if they were ever chill with each other & had the kind of friendship where they made jabs at each other here & there, miu would mod baji’s bike to the point of it being illegal to drive. will they drive it anyway? yes.

this duo lack so many ppl skills that they’d just be menaces to society.

currently , i don’t have a reincarnation verse for douma , but i do have a modern verse that can be used in hekima’s modern verse ! i’m sure you have already seen the post but a quick summary is that most remains the same from the original kny verse , but an extra hundred years have been added to his age to keep his backstory the same & his cult eventually faded out & turned into what he would consider a spiritual healing/self help collective ( still very culty by nature ) .

it’d be interesting if she was researching his previous cult without realizing he’s a leader .

maybe after the two meet douma looks into the article’s she’s written before & wants to get to know her more . there’s something about her writing that he finds to be captivating . on douma’s spare time he reads a lot but he hadn’t read an article that was as engaging as hekima’s works before .

his end goal would be to lure her in to his ‘collective’ & have her write amazing article’s for more people to join as well .

rohan kishibe – open verse / modern verse

rohan is an absolutely insane famous manga artist who’d do just about anything to get a good story & i think if the two interact it’d be petty funny .

maybe they could’ve met at some kind of press conference ?

it’d be funny if he sincerely thought she was a child until he realized she worked for the local newspaper .

initially , i can see rohan being a prideful piece of crap . maybe after reading some of her works he’d inflate his ego by talking about how amazing his is . he’d see her as a rival & would want to continue improving his story telling . while confident in his writing abilities he has a habit of squaring people up . he’d be doing that to the wrong person entirely since hekima is very kind & sweet . this might make him act pettier until he eventually becomes kinder .

as a gift & a way of saying ‘i’m sorry for being so passive agressive / petty’ he would gift her the full collection of ‘autumn in ontairo ink’ , ‘fountain brush pen with a golden plate nib’ in the colour : red carpet & every colour of ‘the sketchbook’

the two of them have an ungodly amount of curiosity & oh god , if these two become friends , hekima would enable him to do the craziest of things & vice versa ( he bought a whole ass mountain range in search of a yokai so he can find & write about )

speaking of yokai , what if he invited her to join him on the search for this yokai ! it’d be funny if they didn’t find it , but the little things that would happen ( like the sound of tree branches snapping , or other random noises ) would fuel this belief that they did . confirmation bias at it’s finest between them as they would encourage each other that ‘yeah, for sure that’s the yokai

after that little trip , hekima would have a vey interesting article to write & rohan would go on to publish a short manga ‘based on true events’ .

shinobu kocho – original verse

HEADCANONS.

maybe they met before hekima became a demon slayer & before shinobu became a hashira ? i think hashia’s typically have a specific region that they tend to operate in ( i could be wrong - lol ) , but what if shinobu & her sister used to slay demons in the region where hekima’s family’s house was located -- which led to them being regulars to that specific wisteria home .

now that i think about it , i don’t think i remember seeing wisteria growing in the butterfly estate , so maybe shinobu gets some flowers from hekima’s house back then .

it’d be cute if the three of them talked a lot whenever the kocho sisters visited & they would bring back flowers from the butterfly estate for hekima ! they’d bring her lots of sunflowers !

after kanae passes , shinobu would 100% continue to pay hekima a visit , though the few months that proceed afterwards she would stop . maybe hekima could come to the butterfly estate to check up on her .

when hekima becomes a demon slayer shinobu can’ help but be a bit envious . she wonders how hekima is so brave to fight against demons when she is so small & to top it all off ; she doesn’t use a breath style . shinobu can’t find herself to dislike hekima but it does fuel her self hatred that she initially believed to be her disliking hekima . during this time , she’d most likely push her away .

maybe after some self reflecting shinobu pushes these thoughts aside ( sometime after meeting tanjiro in the main timeline ) & kinda like in the little headcanons i have written prior , they could reconnect while fixing the flowers around the butterfly estate .

it’d be hella tragic if shinobu ran into hekima as a demon who had forgotten about their friendship . she’d be the first demon shinobu would have complete hesitation killing .

also , i’m a fan of the whole ‘i like you but i won’t say it’ especially since shinobu is essentially planning for her own death .

eidia – demon slayer verse

HEADCANONS.

i do not have all of eidia’s demon slayer verse written up yet , but she’s pretty much a demon slayer who joined the corps at a bit of an older age ( when she turned 30 ) after working as one of the lead medical practitioner in the kakushi for the majority of her years . she doesn’t use a breath style either but her fighting style involves her laying in wait to attack demons , ideally with the fewest strikes as possible ( usually with one if possible ) . ANYWAY ! the two of them are very curious about demons & they both get into conversations with demons when given the opportunity . she’d really like to for demons & humans to get along one day & hopes that she can turn demons back .

because hekima is open with talking with demons eidia would find that trait to be admirable & very sweet . she’d want to align herself with her because of this .

it’d be interesting if the two of them worked on their own research on an antidote leading them to put themselves into many dire & avoidable dangerous situations .

eidia is a very cuddly & upbeat person & i can see her taking on an older sibling role towards hekima but whether or not she’s the older sibling & not the same age would often be blurred as she is a very childish person with a spring chicken personality .

great bear - demon slayer verse

HEADCANONS.

lol , if anyone is burner’s friend -- great , being the confrontational brother that he is , will have a problem with them automatically . he’d probably be very dismissive & antagonistic towards her as well .

while he won’t fight hekima , he will constantly ask where burner is so he can fight her .

he’d hate if hekima ever brought up the fact that the two of them have the same temperament & breath style / fighting style . he likes to believe he’s one of a kind & a god among men because of his rank , kinoe . he has avoided all contact & with hashira & while he has the skills to join them , he chooses not to because he thinks he’s above all that .

it’d be funny if at one point after encountering a lower moon ( maybe the previous lower moon 1 ) & not evaluating the situation properly ( he fights like a bulldozer usually ) , he gets injured really bad & needs some help getting to a neighboring wisteria crest house ( could be hekima’s original home ) -- a situation that mimics a similar encounter with burner . afterwards he’d force himself to be kinder

while acting extremely antagonistic to other slayers ( kinda like sanmei ) , he is extremely protective of other slayers . like , VERY . he is 100% ready to die for others to save them & has been depressed for weeks whenever witnessing death & he isn’t very good at hiding this either . he’s the type of person who blames himself for others who get killed by demons -- especially if he didn’t arrive in battle fast enough .

despite being the kind of person who hasn’t heard of an inside voice ( he sleeps so loud he sounds like he’s awake & mocking the sound of snoring ) , he easily quiets down when playing board games . maybe they play board games together from time to time . an easy way to get great to do things is by making a bet & playing one of these games . he isn’t very bright but he’ll take the challenge anyway . hekima has 99.9% chance of winning against him , so she has a free maid !

ji-woon – open verse / modern verse

HEADCANONS.

aight sooo ji-woon is a serial killing k-pop star who has been hiding his crimes for a good amount of time ( maybe just about over a year ) . recently , some people in the press , including his producer , have come to notice these crimes tend to be in the surrounding area of his concerts whenever he goes on tour . what if hekima was looking into this rumor & was getting close to finding out this secret . like really close . maybe she just missed him leave & he so happened to notice she was following him . but instead of him confronting her , he decides to find her at a later time & befriend her : claiming that he absolutely loves her articles & her writing to appeal to her interests .

i’m sure hekima may feel some suspicion towards him . while he has the general public fooled , his ego is so inflated that he believes that he is infallible , leaving his trickery easily read by those who pay close enough attention to little details . bringing her closer would pave the path for his downfall . but what if a string of events occur that puts blood on her hands too , stringing her in his crimes as well . he’d totally play this incident up as of he planned it out all along .

adding this cuz i noticed you have an actor au ! we could have them interact in this verse as well !

cutthroat – open verse / modern verse

cutthroat is a very dark character so u can totally ignore this stuff if you don’t want anything too dark !!

cutthroat loves the colour red . LIKE HE LOVES IT SO DAMN MUCH ( even pink is good ) . after one quick look at her , he’d fall head over heels obsessed with her & as time goes on it’ll grow stronger .

what if her voice triggered his synesthesia & he can see a bright red halo over her ( kinda like what happens in his canon storyline ) . this would increase his interest in her tenfold , making her cling onto her like a puppy .

cutthroat is a bit of a weirdo ( mostly a creepy ) because he has no boundaries whatsoever . such a concept doesn’t exist & so he might step way out of line .

being that he is a serial killer who tends to obsess over people before killing them , he’d initially have plans to kill her at a later date but things may change ( evidence in the series where he comes from doesn’t really show him allowing his obsessions live , but i don’t mind plotting something around that ) . for the time being he’d be extremely possessive , ya know , the typical yandere thing . because he is so childish as well , he wouldnt really see his act of killing people who she interacts with as a bad thing -- he might even ‘build a cake’ out of the bodies of those she has spoken to .

gyuutaro ( daki ) – original verse

ENEMIES. dangerous to themselves / dangerous to others / unpredictable / passionate / rivals / petty / developing into a sexual tension / developing into a romantic tension ( gyuutaro’s side ) / based off family matters / based of circumstance / based of professional matters / based of misunderstandings or lies / other .

HEADCANONS.

gyuutaro would see her constant questioning as annoying first . he isn’t used to people wanting to talk to him so he’d push her away a bit . part of it would because he is insecure about his appearance & he doesn’t want someone cute to see him or stare at him for a long time in fear of her judging him . eventually he’d open up to her & be more responsive to her questions -- but still having some kind of dismissiveness in his responses .

if they met while in her demon verse , part of me believes that daki would bully her & tell gyuutaro to stop talking to such a ‘weak’ demon ( i kinda see her being needlessly cruel to other demons -- the lower moons aren’t free from her barrage of insults either ) . gyuutaro would defend her ayako & tell daki off , resulting in very awkward family fights that would become comically explosive & about something so stupid like how one doesn’t like how the other eats or something .

i kinda see gyuutaro being someone who falls in love easily when someone shows him a small amount of kindness , so i’m pretty sure he’d start to have feelings for ayako ( which would anger daki because no one else is allowed to have attention here -- lol ) .

i don’t mind doing threads solely with daki ! i can see her disliking ayako at first but maybe after sometime she kinda doesn’t mind having her around . she might even enjoy her company but she’d never say so . it’d be like admitting defeat .

daki would poke at her , trying to get a rise -- but gyuutaro would step in & tell her off . cue another family argument that poor ayako has to awkwardly witness .

giyu tomioka - original verse

HEADCANONS.

her inquisitive personality would totally help in binging giyu out of his comfort zone . while at first he’d be extremely reluctant to reciprocate in any kind of interaction he’d eventually open up .

even if he doesn’t say it , & at times even questioning her reasoning , he appreciates her for being around & being patient with him . he wouldn’t be able to answer any questions in regards to his reasons for becoming a demon slayer ( he usually dissociates when the question is brought up ) he does understand she means no harm with her questions .

he would prefer to talk about what she likes , or listen to her talk about what she enjoys . he pays attention to every little detail when she talks ( like her little quirks , random tid bits from he stories , etc ) . at times , in an attempt to add something to a conversation or when he doesn’t know what to say , he’d probably bring up one of her quirks thinking without realizing it might be embarrassing to bring up .

he’d join in on making origami with her as they just enjoy each others presence in silence .
