Vulpera! A beautiful huntress with a feathered bow.

This fox has super-detailed armor - I'll make a separate post to show you it in all its glory. Sculpting the clothes (as well as painting them) took a lot of time, but it was worth it.

I really like the expression on her face. It's so cute and harmless - it doesn't match the fact that she is holding a bow and arrow at the ready, about to shoot. By the way, the bow and arrows are removable (she also has spare arrows!). Handmade of polymer clay, air-dry clay, painted with acrylic colors and coated with a protective matte lacquer. Thunderstorm Gryfaun Room Guardian Available in my site shop Monday January 13th at 12pm EST.

The Thunderstorm Gryfaun has a rose quartz crystal heart and its eyes and horns glow in the dark like lightning. It stands about 14 inches tall and it has a coat of high quality faux fur. The head and the hooves are cast in resin for maximum durability. The hands are sculpted out of a flexible clay and the horns are sculpted from thermal plastic that will not snap when bent. The neck and tail have a fully posable plastic ball and socket armature inside that will not wear out over time. The arms have a wire inside that can be bent at the shoulder and elbow.

a while ago, partner & i went stick hunting for various projects and found a somewhat dragonish pine branch -> Stick Dragon Time!

all bark, sticks and lichen are natural materials, mostly unaltered except for some light drybrushing. the head and legs are 3d printed, and painted to match the wood. the whole noodle is about 1,5 meters long, and will reside on the living room wall. making this was the most fun i've had with a project in some time; there is a healing power to sitting on the bathroom floor for hours glueing scraps of wood together.
