Merry Christmas to all who celebrate it (I don't but I love festive fervour), here's some tddk for you <3

"It's a mistletoe."

Izuku looked up and felt a laugh bubble in his throat. A sad looking branch of a pine tree was hanging loosely on the tree, clearly hanging on only because of how tightly the other leaves were woven and because of the thick blanket of snow on them.

"That's not even the plant, love."

"Mmn," hummed Shouto, noncommittally. "It's leaf enough."

Izuku laughed louder. "It's a dead branch trying to hold on for dear life! It's clearly not 'leaf enough'."

Shouto placed his hands on Izuku's hips, slowly wounding them tighter around his waist. "But I want to kiss you," Shouto said, much like a petulant child, and Izuku had to bite his lip to not show just how wide he was smiling at Shouto's antics.

Shouto lifted his hand to brush his thumb against Izuku's lips. "I want to see your smile," Shouto whispered into the breeze. Izuku felt his smile widen.

"Well, I suppose it is leaf enough." Izuku said, playing along, and placing his arms around Shouto's shoulders. Shouto closed his eyes, letting his forehead press against Izuku's, and Izuku revelled in just how at ease Shouto looked in his embrace in the middle of a snowy night.

Izuku pressed his lips against Shouto's, enjoying the warm press of lips against his when Shouto immediately pulled him even closer, and tangled his hand in Izuku's curls.

Shouto nipped his bottom lip with his teeth, pulling at it and letting out a soft sigh. Izuku tilted his head more, searching for an even better angle, deepening the kiss.

They broke apart a few seconds later, soft pants turning into vapour in the air. Shouto had a lovestruck smile on his face, but Izuku was sure his was even more dopey.

"Hi," Izuku whispered.

"Hi," Shouto replied, in the same breathless tone.

Izuku grinned. "Merry Christmas."
