Although the majority of my personal library consists of "normal" books, I do have a couple bookcases dedicated to manga! Ouran High School Host Club wins for appearing on my shelves in the most languages! 🤗 A friend gave me his #manga collection, which included the whole series in Japanese, as well as a volume in Spanish that he did translation work on. And, when it comes to parties or general shindigs, Ouran takes the cake out of any book I own! I can't believe all of the wild set ups and themes they have in the series. Today is the day for my second covid vaccine 😬😬😬!! If I’m not around much that’s probably why but I’ll try and keep you all updated about how it goes! When I was growing up I was constantly changing what I wanted to be. I went from a doctor to a vet and then a Egyptologist to an archaeologist to an explorer/treasure hunter and about a million different other things. While I know I found my perfect career as a NICU nurse I have never lost that sense of adventure and love for different cultures. I cannot wait to get back to traveling and exploring new places!! Hello friends and happy Thursday!! I am feeling sooooo much better after my vaccine, thank you all for your kind words!! I have definitely bought books in hardcover solely because they have beautiful hidden covers under the dusk jacket but this one is extra special because it’s also signed!! It’s so much fun reading the book and noticing how this design relates to this part or when you read something and are like HOLY CRAP that’s what that means!! This cover ties into the book so well and if you’ve read it well you know why!! I absolutely looooooved this book and everything Elise’s writes!! I really enjoyed that ADWTEK was a stand alone but there are going to be more books based in the world and I cannot wait to read more about this incredible place!!
