Throwback Thursday.. Me at my year 12 formal and at my highest weight. I look back on old photos not with disgust or sadness but with pride at how far I've come and also with love. I was not extremely unhappy or in a bad place at this size. I had fun times and beautiful friends and belly laughs and each of those things and more make up who I am today. I don't want to look back at my overweight past with sadness and anger, because it is my past and it has shaped who I am. There were wonderful and not so wonderful times, all of which had nothing to do with my size. I am now just fitter, healthier and the best version of myself.
