As someone who isn’t BuckTommy endgame, their break-up rubbed me the wrong way. Like why would Tommy spend 6 months with Buck if he doesn’t think Buck will want to be serious with him?? That’s a considerable amount of time, especially since they had a six month anniversary date

However if this happened last season it would feel more believable? Cuz like Tommy essentially infantilized Buck by saying “you don’t know what real love is” implying he’s too young to know the difference. And like he’s in his thirties and has only dated seriously in recent years, he would know. But that line reminds a bit of their first date of Buck just not knowing what he wants, which I disliked then too. Like it feels like Tommy has been ignoring Buck’s sincerity and after the curse episode he should know there is no lie behind that

Idk their break-up felt a little clumsy and with Madney discussing kids and Christopher away I had kinda hoped their break-up would be about Buck wanting kids one day and Tommy not. And in this way maybe we could still keep Tommy occasionally without there being bad blood between the characters. (Cuz Buck and Eddie need friends outside the 118)
