Consider this... The Nightmare of Apathy but Dreamswap

I'm kinda experiencing brainrot over Helios and Eos at the moment...

Dream is the one who rules over a world that is permanently day where everyone is happy and adores him. I imagine there would be sun worship but it's morphed into worshipping the deity that literally glows and makes everyone's life better.

Plant life flourishes and the climate is always comfortably warm. I don't think animal life would be much different with permanent sunlight but I'm not going to be putting thought into this right now lol.

Somehow, MC (probably named something vaguely related to the sun to have a nice parallel) meets Dream. Not sure how or why but it would either be transactional or a coincidence. Or maybe they have a "dark opposite" soul and Dream wants to "fix" them.

Dream and Nightmare still quarrel over the multiverse, although Dream has more influence thanks to time and positivity being easier to spread. Nightmare is gaining ground though which is rather concerning to Dream.

Nightmare forms his own team, not sure if it'd be the usual rabble or others. Without spoiling possible future plot points for TNA, there is a conflict between the brothers that leads Dream to forming his team. Again, possibly the usual rabble but it could be interesting if he "converts" bad guys to his cause.

I could go on but I will end up spoiling the finale to my fic... ಠ⁠_⁠ಠ

Or maybe it's like how Swapfell and Fellswap are similar but different? (Swapdream?)

Same premise as above, but Aylin is on Nightmare's side the whole time. ("Dark opposite" soul again?) I think this would be more like a desperate rebellion against a vast empire, except the rebels are technically the bad guys. So lots of angst and action scenes where they barely get out alive?

Aylin would meet Nightmare on more normal terms. He isn't a domineering lord but a pathetic outcast, hated by everyone because he only brings negativity when he's around. Or maybe his world is the one place his brother can't "taint" and while he's not loved by the populace, they understand all would be lost if he wasn't trying to maintain the balance. Maybe the economy is hyper focused on production for war efforts?

They'd get into a relationship much more quickly, especially after saving each other's lives a couple of times. Nightmare teaches her to fight, use magic, and possibly other skills he learned too. In turn, she teaches him what she knows as a herbalist and creates many valuable tonics and potions for conflict.

They pick up friends along the desperate, uphill, in the rain battle that is trying to re-establish emotional balance in the multiverse. Could be the usual rabble, although they'd probably have to rescue them from Dream's clutches first. Not sure if the boys would be more or less insane, especially if Dream was forcing them to be positive through magic.

The duo aren't loved by the majority of the multiverse and would likely run into many powerful players. Or maybe Dream hires bounty hunters to go after them. (Fresh might make sense here as he isn't a good guy and probably wouldn't appreciate Dream.)

The potential for a "happy" ending is very low and something drastic would have to occur for that to even happen. I would explain what but again, I'd literally spoil everything for TNA...

I think I like this idea much more than the previous one... (⁠-⁠_⁠-⁠;⁠)

AH, you're combining some of my favourite fandoms, babe! Which is why I might end up writing a way deeper analysis than I need to lol. But let's go through it one by one.

My darling James, the golden boy of his era, he is 100% Captain America. He is hell-bent on protecting those he loves, and he would do anything for them. Also, he's been in love with one girl for all of his life. It's just so fitting for him, I feel?

But also, I feel like James could also be a great Spiderman (and that is probably his favourite superhero), especially younger James, with his charm and charisma and how he is loved and cherished by his people. Also, he is totally in love with a redhead.

Remus Lupin is a complicated one. You know, I feel like Hulk is quite fitting, since you know he gets angry and turns into a green monster, which kind of relates to Rem in a deeper level. Having said that, I think his superhero would be Moon Knight and I'm ready to diе on this grave.

Hear me out, it's about the deep-held emotional trauma and the way Steven and Jake came into existence to protect Mark, he would absolutely love, love Moon Knight, especially the Disney+ version of him. There's also the lack of control the multiple personalities entail (which is very much like Remus' turning into Moony) and the moon theme. Besides, Rem would totally have a mini crush on Oscar Isaac.

And for Sirius, I agree, he is definitely Iron Man coded and would love Tony, I mean it's in the daddy issues they share with each other, the family background, the rich kid persona and all that. But I also think Sirius would love, and I mean LOVE Peter Quill (StarLord).

StarLord also has family issues, but he grew to become an absolutely charming character, sharing his love for beings with Sirius (aka they're both a little bit of heartbreakers) and he is super funny, which I feel Sirius would love. They both love music, and Sirius would praise Starlord's taste every single day of the week. Something else Siri would love about StarLord is his found family. He met the Guardians of the Galaxy and they all adopted each other, in the same way, Sirius adopted and was adopted by James and Remus.

Reggie is Bucky Barnes (and this is one of my favourite Marvel characters). Bucky was brainwashed and tortured by Hydra, in pretty much the same way Reggie was by his family. He shared that traumatic past and his absolute desire to be better, and to improve, he doesn't want to be a deatheater anymore and he fights for what's good. Also, if he is Bucky and James is Cap, we can have a bit of Starchaser hehe.

Lily loves Spiderman, and not because James does, nah, Lily has been a fan since she was a kid, she loves his sense of justice and how he fights for what's good. Spiderman's motto "With great power, comes great responsibility" is literally Lily's bible.

Marlene is into Black Window, and not only bc she has a massive crush on her, but because she thinks she is the most badass character in the entire fucking Marvel universe, no joke. She can stand against beasts three times her size, and fight alongside the most powerful superheroes on earth by being just a human woman? She is INCREDIBLE!

Mary gives me Vision vibes, I'm not sure why, but I totally see her reading Vision fanfiction and writing some too.

Barty is a Loki kid, you cannot change my mind. I mean, forgotten and neglected child who has to be exceptionally good at everything to get the attention from his dad? He becomes evil bc he thinks it's the only way he'll get Odin to see him? This to me screams Barty, and he would love Loki.

And lastly, I think Evan likes Quick Silver. Firstly, he thinks he's super hot, but he also loved his relationship with his sister, and he loves Pietro's charm. There's just something about him that he can't stop thinking about. I also feel he would like Mystique, but that's due to her complicated past, and her ability to become anything anyone she wants. He feels it would be so freeing to do that.

PS. Didn't I say I'd go crazy with this analysis? Aaaah I'm such a nerd...

imagine them driving down an empty highway windows rolled down in the early morning hours, already going kind of over the speed limit; the only lights being their headlights, the few dim street lamps, and a rare passing car. caleb has the wheel and is arguing with chase when he unbuckles his seatbelt, partly balancing around the gearshift, with half his body out of the sunroof, pumping his fists into the air, cheering loudly, pulling his phone out to record himself, and egging caleb on to go faster ("you drive like my grandma and she died before i was born!") and caleb's eye-rolling going "i rlly don't feel like seeing you fly out of the car and explain this to the ER" and "im your rationale, even if it means saving you from your shitty choices" and chase is like bOOOO LAME

but...caleb speeds up. just a little. bc he likes hearing chase laugh (he's a romantic like that, what a sap smh) (and alternates between looking out at the road, and looking up the sunroof at chase. growing dopey smile and all)

CONTEXT AND DISCLAIMER: I was asked in Spanish class to write a story and we had to include certain words. The subject was free, so I decided to do it about QSMP, more specifically the arrival of Bagi. Some stuff might not make much sense due to having to include those words lmao. The story was supossed to be 140 words and I did 356 (in Spanish). This is a translation I’m doing from Spanish to English, English is not my main language so I might fuck up a bit haha. The storm kept going. It was very strange that it thundered in that dream island, where it was always sunny and everyday was better than the last one.

Or at least that's what the Federation wanted the residents to believe.

The few people around the island were confused. This usually meant there was going to be a code attack soon. However, the only disruptions were the occasional thunders that could be heard in the distance.

A new resident of this damned island, a young woman, woke up far away on a snowy mountain. The sky was dark, but the snowflakes fell gently. The girl was confused. Where was she? Where was she from? Her memories were definitely faulty. Her only belongings were a brown coat from someone she knew long ago and strange ticket with her name and a number on it. She only knew she had to get somewhere with people. She couldn't stay there.

After hours walking, the girl found a place with a strange atmosphere. The place was colourful, it looked like it was somewhere people would have fun, party, have a good time; but, regardless all of that, it still felt empty, sad, pathetic.

There was a wall that was supossed to divide two sections, but it was broken at one point, where it appeared that many things happened there, both wonderful and terrifying. In the distance she could see a replica of the Brazilian statue 'Christ the Redeemer'. This island used to be a beautiful place actually, full of music and joy, a joy that seemed to have faded.

A tall man, with brown hair, a noticeable white streak as well as some cat features and remarkable eyebags, went near the girl. "You must be the new resident. We- I was waiting for you to come to ask you some stuff. You can call me Cellbit." The girl was startled with the sudden appearance of this random guy. "I-" She stuttered. "I'm Bagi." She doubted if she should tell him her name. "I know. I need you to come with me." And he started walking, expecting Bagi to follow her, and she did. Cellbit seemed trustworthy, even if she knew him from seconds ago, and he was the first person to talk to her in this island. Maybe it meant something.

After a short walk and a long talk, Bagi started to realise some things about this island. She started to understand why everything was depressing and empty, why Cellbit looked like he didn't sleep for days, why that strange place looked like it did. All of the residents were parents in grief, and this emptiness was due to their missing children.
