This was the start to the best phone I've ever got, I could comment on the packaging and how the simplicity of it really emphasises the product inside, and using no colour makes it have a untouched canvas look, and then the bold red once you open it, I still remember, I was so excited to get this phone, OnePlus 5t. Honestly the best value for money phone you could get, does pretty much everything the iPhone X does for half the price. The cameras the display the ram the memory all the things which made my old phone the worst it could be, I don't even know how I managed to survive with it, I have no worries with this phone other than possibly scratching it, which I definitely haven't done at all, and didn't get a scratch in 1 week. It wasn't my fault All in all, this started of my year pretty well, I like to take pictures of things of interest but when I didn't have enough memory or even a good camera it makes it harder now having so much in my hands it's great

Is any Device Missing?
If your device is missing on the list, don’t lose hope because a lot of devices will start to support Google Stadia. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, Galaxy S20FE, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Sony Xperia 1 II, and Moto G Power support the latest OS but still missing out from the list. These devices are currently not supporting Google Stadia, but surely they’ll get an update and will support Stadia.
Why Stadia isn’t Supporting Tablets?
Well, this is currently unclear why Stadia isn’t supporting any of the tablet devices, not even the Pixel Slate. However, a lot of Stadia fans have started it and tested it on unsupported tablets through a certain process.
To try out the process, Download the Stadia application, move into Settings>Experiments>Play on the device. But if this procedure doesn’t work, then users will have to open Chrome on tablet and visit Stadia.google.com.
Stadia Working on iOS?
The Google Stadia app on iOS doesn’t let the user play games, but it allows the users to watch Stadia games on TV through Chromecast Ultra. Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA and Google all have been blocked on the App Store for creating a cloud gaming platform. Apple is strict and very strict about their privacy policies, and they’re not going to make any changes about cloud gaming.
Luckily, a Stadia beta version is available on iOS that works great and accessible. To download the beta version, users must download and install iOS 14.3 or above and visit Stadia.com on Safari browser. After visiting the main page of Stadia, users will be asked to play games on the browser. So click Got it and play some games on your Apple device.
Best Platform to Play Stadia?
To get the best and relaxed experience of playing Stadia games, then bring out your Android phone and attach it with Razer Kishi and use it as a handy Stadia console. However, if anyone is looking to play on 4K 60Hz, then they’ll have to rely on Chromecast Ultra.
Conclusion
Google Stadia is offering some great options to get an amazing gaming experience. People have started to play on Stadia because now Google has made some changes on the platform which made it easily accessible.

OnePlus is always known for its best UI and out-performing features, and now OnePlus users can also enable always-on display features using OPAodMod Xposed module in their rooted OnePlus devices. Since AMOLED displays came into the picture, most Android smartphone manufacturers started putting the Android-on Display feature in their smartphones.
This feature is quite a power-efficient, and here in this article, we are going to discuss how you can enable always-on display feature on your OnePlus smartphone with root. So, let's get started
What is the Always-on Display?
Before getting started with the method of how to enable always-on display on OnePlus smartphone, let's first know what Always-on display is. So, always-on display (or AOD) is a mode in Android smartphone, which keep the screen on in white or black mode with showing only key text, i.e. if your screen is displaying time so this feature will only enable the area of the screen in which clock is displayed other area will be off and doesn't consume power.
That's why this is a power-efficient feature, and if you receive any notification, it will keep you updated with that without actually displaying a complete screen. Some smartphones have an inclusive mode for this feature; however, OnePlus devices don't offer such a feature. Fortunately, we have a method to get and enable Android-on display on OnePlus smartphone.
Also Read: AMOLED vs LCD(IPS), Which One to Go With?
Why OnePlus Devices doesn't have AOD after having an AMOLED screen?
Well, let me first clear a doubt between Ambient display and Always-on Display. OnePlus offer a customization option in its display setting through which the user can enable the clock, which will appear after the phone is locked. So that feature is the Ambient feature offered by OnePlus in many of its smartphones, it is different from AOD. It can give you a slight experience of AOD but it is completely different from AOD and lacks in so many ways.
So the question is why OnePlus doesn't use or enable Always-on Display feature in its devices after using AMOLED screen. Look, AOD is a software feature and every software we are using in our device should be compatible with the operating system. OnePlus uses Oxygen OS for most of its smartphones, and somehow always-on display feature isn't compatible and stable with Oxygen OS.
This feature has an adverse effect on the OnePlus devices, the company try to provide this feature with their OnePlus 6 but then many users complaint that they are facing performance and battery-related issue. Later, OnePlus removed the feature with a software update. However, OnePlus confessed that they will launch the feature later this year but no one knows when?
What is OPAodMod?
The AOD is an extremely useful though popular feature for any smartphone, so most of the users demand this feature. After getting a high urge of this feature from OnePlus users. One of the XDA Recognized Developer/Contributor Quinny899 has come up with a solution and launched OPAodMod (OnePlus-Always-On-Display-Mod), this is an Xposed module which allows users to enable Always-On display feature on rooted OnePlus devices.

Feature of OPAodMod
It is completely different from the Ambient feature from OnePlus, and it runs all the time.
It enables more layout customization options like digital clock style, world-clock style, also a DVD screensaver.
Notification panel displays notification only for few seconds.
It enables an option to display the screen only when the phone is raised or picked up.
When the device is flipped, inside the pocket, you can hide the screen.
You can disable the screen overnight, or after 10 minutes or 15 seconds.
It also shows alarm, weather, and playing music.
It displays the customizable lock screen message.

5 biggest no-nos when buying a new smartphone
Shopping for a new smartphone can be exciting and stressful. With so many great options available, it can be hard to choose the perfect one.
You have to be smart when deciding which phone to opt for. These things can be expensive, and you’ll likely use the one you get for at least a year or two before upgrading.
I can’t tell you which device to get. We all have different wants and needs. But I can tell you a few things not to do when shopping for a new handset to avoid common pitfalls and narrow down your choices.
1. Spending too much money
Spending more money than you can afford is a big no-no. Before you even start thinking about which device to get, you have to set a budget.
Setting a budget might not be the sexiest thing in the world, but it has a big advantage: it will help you narrow down your choices. If you can only afford to spend $300, you can ignore more expensive devices.
I know, smartphones are awesome. We all want the most expensive one with all the latest features. But there are more important things in life. The last thing you want is to struggle to pay the bills because you’ve spent too much money on a smartphone.
2. Being a brand snob
A big mistake when buying a new smartphone is to be a brand snob. This means you only consider well-known brands and avoid less-established ones.
Companies like OnePlus can offer smartphones that are just as good as the ones from bigger players for a lot less money. The recently announced OnePlus 5T, for example, is $225 cheaper than the Samsung Galaxy S8 and offers similar performance. The 5T actually offers more in a few areas, as it comes with more RAM, supports dual-SIM, and has a dual-camera setup on the back.
Read: OnePlus 5T vs Samsung Galaxy S8: quick look
Keep an open mind when buying a new smartphone. Don’t assume that larger smartphone manufacturers are a level above smaller ones when it comes to product quality. In most cases, they aren’t.
It’s not that you shouldn’t buy a smartphone from Samsung, LG, or any other tech giant. You just need to realize you’re paying a premium because of the brand. If you find a smartphone you like made by Honor, Xiaomi, Oppo, OnePlus, and other smaller companies, there’s no real reason not to get it.
3. Not having your priorities straight
Keep a clear idea of the specs and features you want in a device. It’s harder to choose the right smartphone without one.
Grab a piece of paper and write down the features that are most important to you— a great camera, a large battery, wireless charging, expandable storage, a bezel-less design. This will narrow down your choices even further, as you’ll be able to cross off devices which don’t offer the features you want.
It also makes it easier to choose between similar devices. Say you’re deciding between the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8. If your priorities are to have as big of a battery as possible and a great camera, the G6 is arguably a better option. It features a larger battery than the S8 (3,300 vs 3,000 mAh) and comes with a dual-camera setup that allows you to capture those fancy bokeh images. But if you value performance above all else, the S8 is a better fit due to its faster chipset (Snapdragon 835 vs 821).
Read: Galaxy S8 vs LG G6: Which is right for YOU?
Keep in mind that you’ll likely have to make some compromises depending on your budget, so make sure you write down the features you want in order of importance.
4. Overlooking older smartphones
Overlooking older devices is a common mistake — don’t do it. A year-old smartphone might still offer all the features you’re looking and could be a real bargain.
The latest smartphones aren’t always a lot better than their predecessors. In some cases, all you can expect are design changes — which aren’t always good — and slightly improved performance. If you don’t care about having the latest handset, getting a one- or two-year-old device is a great option that will save you a lot of money.
For example, instead of opting for the Galaxy S8, you could go with last year’s Galaxy S7 Edge. The device still has more than enough power for demanding users, comes with a large display with curved sides, and is resistant to water and dust. More importantly, you can get it for $500, instead of $725.
The lower price tag means missing out on a few bells and whistles, though. Picking an S7 Edge means not getting the bezel-less design, the popular 18:9 display, and higher resolution selfie camera of the S8. It all comes back to having your priorities straight. If you don’t care much about the additional features the S8 brings to the table, the S7 Edge is still a fantastic option.
So when you’re in the market for a smartphone, make sure to consider older devices as well. Check specs and features online to figure out whether an older handset has everything you need and if it’s worth getting over its successor.
5. Not checking deals
Prices vary from retailer to retailer. This means buying a new handset from the first store you visit might be a huge mistake.
When you know exactly which smartphone you want to buy, it’s best to do some digging and get it from the store offering the lowest price. Check Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, B&H, and other retailers to compare prices. A few minutes of research could save you hundreds of dollars. You can also check our Deals page to see which smartphones are currently on sale.
Editor’s Pick
Flagship? Mid-range? Budget? Find the best phone for you
Picking out the best phone to buy is tougher than ever these days. It’s not just because we’re spoiled rotten with decent choices, but also because top tier products now cost upwards of $1000. That’s …
The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact currently retails for $540 on Best Buy’s website, while Amazon is selling it for $510. On eBay, the device is listed at just $440. The difference between the lowest and highest price is $100, which is a lot of money. There are even better deals available for other handsets, but you have to put in some time to do the research.
You can also take advantage of Black Friday deals to save a few bucks. This year, Best Buy will be offering $50 off the Honor 6X, $75 off the Moto G5 Plus, and $100 off the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. More great Black Friday offers will be available, some of which you can check out by clicking the button below.
Black Friday deals
There you have it. These are five of the biggest things to avoid when buying a new smartphone. These aren’t the only no-nos, though. Try to avoid overlooking the software experience, buying a phone based only on design, and ignoring build quality. Also, don’t buy a new smartphone right after it’s released. It can be a big mistake from a financial standpoint, as a lot of new devices go on sale within the first few months.
Do you agree or disagree with my list? Would you change anything? Let me know in the comments.
