🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Whilst she did have a 'slight' (big) storm of jealousy flare up inside of her after realising that she has feelings for Kid and learning that the ship was actually named after his previous crush (or his ex girlfriend?) Victoria Shiruton Doruyanaika, she could eventually be talked out of it by Kid (with some help from Killer) and ended up with the realisation that it's a sweet way to honour the deceased.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Kid finds it adorable that Light shows affection and adoration somewhat similary to crows and cats. If she's not serving him his favourite dish and ale with a sweet kiss after a rough day, she's just sitting in his lap cuddling with him. Otherwise, the Puma brings him little trinkets from when she's out to go shopping on the islands they stop at. On the contrary, Eustass is a little rougher when it comes to showing affection. He also may buy her little trinkets, but he prefers to craft them himself. When he notices that Light is having a bad day, he asks her whether she likes to be left alone or would like company to vent to; In the latter situation, he hugs her from behind when she's working on something in the kitchen and puts his head on top of hers, or he just sits down somewhere with her and hands her his hand/bracelet to play with whilst venting.

However, he is aware of the importance of fresh air and sunshine, so you are regularly on the surface to breathe in the fresh ocean breeze and feel the sun on your skin. You're more than happy to be pregnant because normally you don't surface that often…

As your partner and doctor, he personally ensures that you have a balanced diet. He has even asked Sanji for advice. It was only a small call with the Den Den Mushi, but Law doesn't like Sanji very much, as he always fawns over you without any shame. Law knows which ingredients are nutritious but are they tasty? That's where Sanji is a big help.

Law passed on Sanji's greetings to you while you were reading a book on the sofa. You looked after him in surprise as he sat at his desk.

You are freed from your daily chores on the Polar Tang, but sometimes you get so bored that you find yourself doing little chores like washing and hanging up the laundry. No big deal, you think to yourself, but Law sees it quite differently.

With a pile of books, he came into the shared library right on time at 12 o'clock and took a seat next to you on the huge sofa.

His idea was to read books with you that you had both bought for the child and so it became routine for you to read the books to each other every day. It was a lot of fun and you had a great time practicing your silly voices and matching it to the story. You are sure that your child will love it when you read to him or her.

Birth/when the baby is around: The birth is turbulent but Law is the perfect man by your side.

He wants to help bring the baby into the world but you are STRICTLY against it! You never want that in your life. He may be a doctor himself, but that's just not for you.

It took a while, but you managed to agree that a doctor from the city would come to you on the ship. A week before your due date, you docked in front of a small island with a peaceful town.

The mood on the entire ship became more and more restless from day to day, because your child wasn't making a move. You're long past the due date and even Law is starting to worry, but you're not making it any easier for him either, because you're refusing any help from Law.

The day you went into labor, the whole ship was on full alert. Bepo, Shachi and Penguin rushed into town to get the doctor on the ship while Law held your hand and did breathing exercises with you.

The birth was slow and you felt like days had passed, the pain was so numbing. Slightly distressed, the doctor began to change the preparations as it turns out your baby hasn't fully rotated yet.

“We have to prepare the operating room for a C-section!” - “C-section???!” Although you can barely hear because of the pain, you have clearly understood 'that'.

“I have to perform a scan while we move to the operating room…”

Things are moving way too fast for you as everyone around you rushes to get your bed and the ultrasound machines ready to head to the operating room.

Law doesn't even leave your side as you scurry down the corridor.

“The umbilical cord has wrapped around your son's neck!” Said the doctor. Desperation spreads through you, you can't relax and are afraid that you will push your son further out of you and strangle him. Wait a minute, a boy? You didn't even know the gender yet…

“Did you hear y/n? It's a boy! Let me make sure our boy gets out of you safely.” the tears run down your cheek uncontrollably. Your emotions are dancing the tango, you are so happy to be bringing a little boy into the world, but you are still afraid of the umbilical cord.

“Please Law, get our Rosinante out of me!” You squint your eyes because you can't see anything through all your tears. Law freezes for a millisecond when he hears the name but quickly pulls himself together.

“Doctor, please move aside.” Somewhat taken aback, the slightly older doctor moved aside and made room for Law.

With the help of Law's devil fruit, he gently extracted your child from your womb and held the crying baby in his arms.

His eyes widened at the sight of the helpless baby and the feeling inside him was as overwhelming as it was beautiful.

You look at him with a weary expression and watch this precious moment until exhaustion overcomes you to the point where you have to close your eyes.

The atmosphere is still very tense and even though you are no longer aware of it, everyone is doing their best to take care of you and Rosinante.

When you open your eyes for the first time, you find yourself in a hospital bed. Your gaze wanders around the room and lands on your side, where Law is asleep holding your hand. The movement wakes him up and he quickly gets up to ask you about your well being. After some time, when Law was sure you were okay, he brought your little boy into the room.

The dark circles under his eyes are nothing compared to the bright smile on his face as he holds your boy in his arms.

“Look Rosinante, mommy is awake. You can finally meet your mother.” The way he looks down at Rosinante… This is how Law always looks at you, full of love. He gently places him in your arms and the little one immediately snuggles up to your chest.

He is so beautiful that it brings tears to your eyes. He has his hair, his wonderful raven black hair. His little eyelids are closed and he sleeps contentedly in your arms. In his mother's arms. In Law's eyes, there is no sight more beautiful than looking at the two of you. He's happier than ever.

“Please don't mess with me, are we really going to be parents?” His voice cracks a little and you nod silently to him and show him the test you took.

“But you're not allowed to drink alcohol!” Even though you roll your eyes, you have to giggle.

His behavior / During pregnancy: You know he's going to be the dad of the year after how he treats you.

He has taken time off for the duration of your entire pregnancy, with the clear permission of Whitebeard, to be at your side whenever you need him.

There were various things scattered on the floor that had fallen out of the suitcase. A short glance at the floor and you burst out laughing.

What on earth has he packed? A few things are halfway understandable, but why would you need a bikini now? Not to mention that you're only going to Marco's infirmary to give birth. If you need anything, then someone else will get it… After all, your room is only a few meters away.

He carefully carried you in his arms to the infirmary and luckily for you, the birth took place without any complications.

When Marco wanted to hand the baby over to Ace, Ace didn't want to hold your little one in his arms at first.

You fancy a special dish from the South Blue? Doflamingo had brought someone specially for you who can prepare any specialty with brilliance. He shows you his love through acts of service.

Birth/when the baby is around: He is smitten with the little miracle you have created and is already filled with pride.

He won't be there at birth but he will be the first one you see when you open your eyes. Just when you are at your most vulnerable, he will leave it to no one but himself to protect you.

You never thought Doflamingo could be so loving to a baby, but when you thought about it, he was always good to the kids in the gang. From the outside it may look like he's only interested in the skills, but you know for a fact that he respects and loves each of them as a member of the family.

At first you were a bit worried because you gave birth to a girl. After all, you were supposed to give him an heir to the throne.

“My dearest, that you have given me a daughter who is just as beautiful as her mother is like a gift from the gods.” While a few servants took care of your sweet girl to give you a break, he made certain insinuations.

“And who says one child is enough for me?”

His fingers gently stroked your skin while you had brunch on a picnic blanket in the castle garden. You blush immediately because you know exactly what he's getting at.

Another child with Doffy? You look after your daughter as she plays happily wearing a little pink feather dress that resembles Doflamingo's cape.

You shyly confess to him that you would love to have more children from him and before you could really finish talking he took you in his arms, ordered the servant to continue looking after your daughter and whisked you away to your bedchamber.

Telling him you're pregnant: He thinks you're joking and laughs as he turns his back to you and continues fixing his metal arm.

“I'm sorry Kid but I'm serious. I'm pregnant!”

He turns around because of your serious yet trembling voice.

You're not entirely happy either. You'd like to be happy, but you and Kid? Is that such a good idea? You stroke your arm feeling a little insecure as you stand in his workshop like a lost mess.

“Pregnant women have no place on the Victoria Punk…” - “What's that supposed to mean? Are you kicking me off the crew?!” You interrupt him with a raised voice. Your face is already turning red, but not from anger. You try to suppress your tears.

He grits his teeth in annoyance and approaches you with a pulsating vein on his forehead.

“What the fuck y/n! NO. Of course not!” You should just let him finish before you imagine something stupid.

He grabs you by the shoulders and pulls you close so that your noses are touching.

His eyes are filled with rage. You are always too hasty with your assumptions…

You look a little startled, but you know he's no threat to you when he gets this close because his grip is still gentle... You immediately regret accusing him of something like that. You know he would never kick you out of the gang. You were just too emotional…

His behavior / During pregnancy: He is constantly thinking of ways to do something useful for you and the baby but you hardly notice any of that.

His behavior doesn't really change in front of you. He's still a short tempered dickhead and that often leads to problems between you, especially now that you're having such hormonal swings.

It can always be dangerous on the Victoria Punk and sometimes you'll have to fight in the middle of the open sea. If Kid isn't around then Killer definitely is, because you are not 'allowed' to lift a finger.

You found this quite annoying in the first few weeks, after all you are still able to move quite well and you love to jump into the fight with the others.

After your first argument regarding this, you went your separate ways in a rage. A very typical picture after an argument between you; Kid disappears into his workshop and you flee to the crow's nest. What follows is days of ignoring each other until one of you can't take it anymore. But this time Killer followed you.

Killer broke the silence between you by simply telling you that Kid had a valid reason why you shouldn't fight and that you should please let him finish his explanation without butting in. A little offended, you wanted to say something at first, but you drop your shoulder and close your mouth. Even if you're angry, Killer doesn't deserve to suffer your rage. Kid is the one your anger is directed at. Your silence is Killer's signal that he is free to speak.

Your angry face quickly changed to a tearful one. The reason is as simple as it is understandable and you curse at Kid in a sobbing voice.

“Why doesn't he fucking tell me like you just did!” Your masked friend shrugs. That's a question that even Kid himself might not be able to answer.

“I think he's pissed off why you don't just let him do it, like you don't trust his decisions and then he gets…” “…Furious.” you finish his sentence. That's what Kid is like, a hothead but your hothead.

“Yep. Furious.” - “Argh! My fucking goodness no! I just don't want to be a burden and join the fight!” You feel bad.

Kid knows that you don't have a round belly at the beginning of your pregnancy, but Killer told you in secret that he's been reading books about pregnancy. Kid can read? That's the first thing that surprises you and then the fact that he reads pregnancy books of all things!

Not even you thought about it and suddenly you feel like a bad mom. Kid is really worried about you because he has read that stress and physical activity are a risk no matter what stage you are in.

The same evening you two reconciled. You apologized to him and didn't question anything, because otherwise Killer would be in serious trouble. Since then, you've simply accepted your fate.

You made an unexpected discovery in his workshop... There was a rather large object 'hidden' in the room, covered up so that you could only make out a rectangular shape.

Kid never covers anything in his workshop, so you got curious and looked what was hidden under the big cloth. You could hardly believe your eyes as you rubbed them in disbelief.

There was a crib in front of you and you're pretty sure he built it. The frame is up for debate, as the crib is made entirely of metal and almost looks like a cage that is open at the top… The metal bars give you prison vibes but your heart melts at his efforts.

On closer inspection, it actually looks quite cute too. He's even made a mobile with small figurines that look like fish and sea kings.

You don't even notice how the door opens behind you as you spin the mobile.

“So you found it, huh?” Startled, you turn around with one hand on your chest. You were so immersed that you didn't hear Kid coming up behind you.

With tears streaming down your face, you throw your arms around Kid's neck.

“I LOVE IT!”

Kid is generally proud of his work but your words are like music to his ears and with a grin he returns your embrace.

“What are you doing y/n?” You jolt as you push the furniture around in your shared room. Still standing on the doorstep with his hand on the handle, Kid looks at you with a raised eyebrow. You were just about to push an armchair across the room and in the middle of your movement you stop and grin at him, somewhat caught off guard.

“Uh, I… I'm just making some space…” - “Space?” A little annoyed, you raise an eyebrow; he could help you rather than ask you weird questions, after all, you're heavily pregnant. You put your hands on your hips a little bitchily.

“Yes, space! Don't just stand there and start helping. I'll make room for the baby?” Kid grumbles and sits down on the armchair. Confused, you gesture to him what this is supposed to mean, that clearly isn't any help. Kid's behavior confuses you a little, because his attitude is so different than usual.

Somehow he looks 'thoughtful'… Normally, he would have grabbed the armchair with his metal arm and taken it to where you want it. Why is he sitting down and looking at you with that confusing expression?

You raise your eyebrows questioningly and wait for a reasonable explanation. Struggling to find the right words, he scratches his chin, with his eyes focused elsewhere.

What's wrong with him? He seems to be lost in his thoughts? You don't recognize that from him. He seems to be preoccupied with something, but instead of ranting out loud or speaking rashly, he sits in front of you almost calmly.

His gaze tends to avoid you as he stares absently into space and you lean down towards him, visibly confused. His eyes look directly into yours and he groans a little irritated.

“Listen, you don't have to make room here because the baby's not moving in.” With your eyebrows drawn together, you lean back again and look down at the redhead. Well, not really down because Kid is pretty tall, let's say you're looking at him at eye level.

“Excuse me? The baby's not moving in here? The baby is not a roommate who we don't want to move in with… The…-” You stop your sentence abruptly and look down at your lips, where Kid's hand is resting. Kid doesn't have the nerve to listen to your rambling. You're taking it the wrong way again. But that's more his fault, because he always says things so stupidly, he's aware of that, but he's trying his best.

“Shut up for once, will you?” - “Excuse me?” You let out a muffled voice through his hand.

He growls at you a little as he lets go of you and stands up. Your gaze goes up to him while his goes down to you. There you both stand in front of each other, each with an annoyed look on your face.

“Do you remember that the Victoria Punk is no place for babies?” You think for a moment. You remember that and the fact that you thought he was going to kick you from the crew. You didn't really discuss what he meant by that, but now you're all ears.

“You and the baby will live in our hideaway.” - “WHAT?!” You're so perplexed that you spit a bit at him. Without taking his eyes off you, he wipes the spit off his chin. A little blushed, you mumble an apology.

Kid has no intention of leaving you there alone. He'll stop by often and try to stay as long as he can, but as captain, he has a duty to run his ship. He has made it clear to you in a surprisingly calm voice that it would not be a good environment for your child to grow up on the Victoria... If at all. It's too dangerous and what if something happens to your child? He's made the decision, that's how it's going to be done and there's no changing that.

You can more than understand his thoughts, but it would be nice if he had discussed this with you.

“You know Kid, you may be the captain but I'm still the mother of our child and before you make decisions like this you should talk to me!” You have to tiptoe a little as you point your finger at him. Rolling his eyes, he takes your hand away and gently pulls you towards him.

“You can make all the decisions in the hideout… For example, you can decorate the house however you like. No matter what it costs.” Your eyes light up at his words, “Apology accepted!”

Birth/when the baby is around: You will never see this man cry again. Only in your memories…

When he saw the sleeping face of your picture perfect child for the first time, a switch flipped in him. Who would have thought that Kid would ever have such feelings? The feeling of unfathomable love. The love he has for you is completely different, because he has learned to love you. But this baby? For your child, a love had been born in him that brought tears to his eyes. He will not learn to love this child. No. He will simply love your child more each day!

He is a bit reluctant to hold the baby, he even confessed to you that he is afraid of it because of his arm. He doesn't want to crush the baby. Watching him look at you with a crushed look on his face while you hold the baby is making you sad, so you think of something. You wrap a scarf around him and put your little one in the pouch so that he is lying on his chest. The sight is so wonderful. This tall, broad man with a baby carrier! How adorable.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Several years have passed. The Kid Pirates have found the One Piece, and one of Eustass' new nicknames became the Pirate King. Instead of settling down, however, they decided to continue their voyage and life as they had done before. They weren't old geezers yet anyway. Causing chaos, death, and destruction still was fun.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Kid and Light hadn't really talked about children, so they were entirely unprepared. Of course, they knew a thing or two since Jason and Donquixote Telaraña Golondrina (spawns by @silvernyxchariot ) were born. But in the end, they never had thought about having children of their own.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Nonetheless, neither of them really noticed/comprehended anything on their own at first. Light had shrugged off the morning sickness as most likely just having eaten something wrong over a few weeks, and thus not feeling well. When during the second month in a row her period did not come, she got a little suspicious but didn't know what. On days when she really couldn't cook due to physically not feeling well, the vice captain had to jump in whenever he could for the most part.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Only during a check-up after passing out from a malicious mixture of dehydration and fatigue, Solace informed Light that the latter had been pregnant for almost three months already, apparently. It caught her completely off guard since she had thought she just had some normal health problems that would go away just as fast as they had appeared.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  It had taken quite a lot of talking (joined by Killer for the most part) to convince Kid that he and his wife would be having a child and that it wasn't a prank like he thought it was. The crew's captain was completely overwhelmed and angry and didn't know what to do at first. So, he had headed out with the boys for a drink in the evening.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Killer, being his brother's voice of reason, explained some things about the whole thing going on and how he'd get used to it. Of course, it wasn't the best place for a baby to grow up, but the crew was always there for support like it had been in his Manda's as well as Solace's and his own cases.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  It became more obvious that she was a soon-to-be mother over the following weeks and months: mood swings, the baby bump getting clearly noticeable and her increasing complaints about back pain and headaches - and not fitting into majority of her clothes anymore. As for Kid, he let out the overprotective partner act more often, being usually one step behind her or staying right by her side, always keeping an arm around her.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Once the pregnancy itself was finally over and their child born, Solace noticed that Light seemed to still struggle with something. Fortunately, she found out what it was swift enough and could quickly treat their chef's surprisingly lethal case of eclampsia before they'd potentially lost her. The Rose also made her take some of the mandrake medicine she had prepared. They had been near Momoiro Island, the Kamabakka Queendom, lucky enough that Ivankov was not out anywhere else. Solace could get them (Iva) to help with their chef's condition by using their hormones.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  When he eventually was allowed back inside the infirmary, Kid was surprised that their son looked so much like them. Also, he was glad that they didn't have to get Trafalgar as well for help. What he was relieved about as well was that his wifey had survived since he had heard about the complications and now was resting. When the freshly baked father got asked for a name they wanted to give him, he responded with Blaze after a bit of thinking.

Blaze & Calista

🌹ꦽꦼ̷ As he grew older, the boy often would play with Nyx' son, sometimes also getting bullied by his own sister after her birth a few years later.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷ Having inherited Kid's talent for crafting, he has been watching his father a lot on how to build various things. Thus, already early, he had built his first bomb with which he played, too, much to scare his parents and the rest of the crew.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  By their early adult years, they are as chaotic as their parents; with Calista taking the crown. At some point, they got tired of reading the newspapers about how they're outclassed. Consequently, they are not much in the spotlight other than them being "Kid's and Light's children". Their father is always taking the headliner of the news as "Pirate King", which leads to Blaze and Calista setting sail on their own as the captain (Calista) and first mate (Blaze) of the Burning Pirates. They want to showcase the world how much in power they can truly be without the help of their family and crew. They're out to cause chaos on their own terms and build their own reputation because they were fed up with all the headlines only about the Kid Pirates's old members.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷  Eventually, Blaze goes on his own murderous path to show the world he should be known alongside his little sister. Their bloody course of actions should be talked about in newspapers individually without the word of "Kid Pirates" behind their names and instead the name of their own crew. Despite that, they still keep in touch with their family (which they see in both their parents and the rest of the crew, viewing Jason as their cousin) but mostly only if there's any special occasion.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷ Blaze is a little oddball. He's known as "Devil Trigger" due to his fierce and precise gunmanship (thanks to excellent training conducted by Nyx, the Kid Pirates' sniper), and as "Ares" whilst conducting work in the Underworld. He's towering over his own father, standing at 2,13m. He's also the Burning Pirates' first mate and leading pyrotechnician guy with a bounty of 670.000.000 Berry. Is a laid-back sort of "provocation expert" with a mindset of "The weak should die if they can't protect themselves", yet the more patient one of the Eustass siblings without hesitating to join in on various shenanigans (probably also having adapted his mother's gambling habits). He once yelled "fuck off" at the top of his lungs only to pick up the ringing den den mushi two milliseconds later and say "hi mama" in the softest voice.

🌹ꦽꦼ̷ Meanwhile, Calista is a whole other calibre, rightfully earning the nickname "gremlin". The "Demon Cat" of the Burning Pirates is the feisty captain, user of the Nekomata Devil Fruit, and with 760.000.000 Berry on her head. Whereas Blaze seems to be the more balanced one, taking after both of their parents, she simply amplifies their inherited violence and trigger happiness tenfold, at least. But no matter how violent and cruel she may be, she's got a pretty smart head on her shoulders, too. She's basically Nimona, Jinx, and Bakugou in one person. Chaotic Evil was made for her.

Summary: How do they kiss you?

Luffy:

So greedy, probably the greediest kisser in history. Uses lots of tongue, too. Grabs you by the hair and jerks your head back so he can better shove his tongue down your throat. The sloppiest kisser known to man, not that anyone would ever know. He always gives you sweet pecks when there are others around that leave them unaware of just how hot and heavy it gets behind closed doors. Gets annoyed if you try to kiss all over his face and bats you away, but if you want to rile him up, this is most definitely the way to go. 

Zoro:

His kisses are a bit lazy, but deep. Also lots of tongue, to the point he’s used tongue when kissing you on the cheek without even realizing. Takes kissing you very seriously, gets grumpy if you two haven’t made out a little bit during the day, expects to make out with you at bedtime. If you try pulling away before he’s had his fill, he’ll tell you to stop and put a big, calloused hand on your cheek to pull your lips back to his. His eyes actually roll into the back of his head when you kiss his chest and shoulders. 

Sanji:

Always starts out sweet, mostly because he’s paralyzed by the fact that you’re kissing him. Even if you’ve been in a relationship for years, pressing your lips into his makes him freeze because he’s worried that if he moves, his heart will explode. As he gets used to it, he’ll gingerly place his hands on your cheek, maybe even experiment with tongue. He can’t get enough of your kisses, but he also lets out a breath when you stop kissing him because he can finally breathe again. Actually lost it one time when you kissed his knuckles. 

Ace:

Usually pretty slow, savoring every bit, but that doesn’t mean the kisses are sweet or soft. They’re deep, the kind that devolve into almost pure tongue. He’ll put his hand on your chin and tilt your head up, leaning in like he’s going to press a modest kiss to your lips, only to leave you got and bothered. A very good kisser, too, not even from experience but simply because he has a natural gift. Has a good rhythm, can get you worked up with his hands tied behind his back. Almost always smiles into it. Melts when you’re on your knees and press gentle kisses into his thighs. 

Sabo:

Lots of stolen kisses. They’re quick but heated, the sort that always promise more to come. He’ll catch you in a narrow hallway and pull you around the corner or else into a store room or empty RA classroom for a bit of privacy and shove his tongue down your throat. If he can’t get any privacy, he’ll place a quick kiss on your cheek or temple, so quick nobody else even notices. But you do, and it drives you crazy. Every kiss is like it could be your last, and it feels so incredible you’re determined to have another. Sweet kisses in NSFW places will earn you his unwavering loyalty. 

Law:

Deep and warm, but not very sloppy. It takes a bit for him to use tongue, but when he does, it’s measured. Doesn’t shove his tongue down your throat, just pushes it slightly into your mouth. Pretends to be annoyed if you get sloppy but secretly lives for you biting and licking his ears. So many hand kisses, too. Often catches your hand when you pass each other in the hallway and place a warm kiss against your palm. Will also mutter things into your neck between pressing kisses into the crook of it. Kiss him on the cheek if you want to see him blush.

Kid:

So messy, so sloppy, will definitely bite your lips and tongue. He’s everywhere all at once, going down to your neck to replace any of your hickies that have faded before going back to your swollen lips. What people don’t know (and he’d kill you if you told anyone) is that, when he falls into bed late at night, completely exhausted and smelling of sweat and motor oil (basically his cologne), he gives you the sweetest, softest kisses, pulling back to gently brush his thumb over your lips before leaning in to give you another. He has also, on very late, drunken nights, allowed you to kiss his most sensitive scars.

“Dinner was beautiful as always, Sanji,” you cooed at him, swooping forward and collecting his smooth cheek beneath your lips in a small kiss, “Well done, Chef.” Holding his cheek in contact with your lips for a few moments longer before pulling away with a broad smile. 

“You’re most welcome, love,” he returned your affectionate demonstration, his lips finding your cheek and grazing your flesh with his lips. 

Both of you reacted as if this touch was not uncommon, not something out of the ordinary in the slightest. This was the first time you had given him this small gesture, demonstrating your appreciation for his hard work with something as simple as a small kiss. 

The fact that this kiss was so freely given to him had Sanji’s heart catch in his throat, his pulse rapidly beating and elevating the flow of his adrenaline through his veins. He would do anything to feel your lips on him again, often giving you preferential treatment in the hopes your lips would find his skin once more. Should he gather up the courage to turn his head, claiming your lips within his own, would you turn away? He hoped you wouldn’t. 

Roronoa Zoro

His mind could not comprehend the moment that just befell him. 

It was a simple night of comradery and relaxation. The air felt alight with joyful merriment: Brook playing music, Sanji ensuring each of you had an adequate meal. It felt light: nothing plaguing, hunting, seeking, nor fighting. It was simple, and that is what it felt. 

It being a simple and small kiss against his right cheek.

“You are an excellent first-mate, Zoro,” you laughed up at him, taking his hand and giving it a gentle squeeze, “A noble knight and fearless protector.”

Zoro’s head couldn’t produce a single thought to form a string of a sentence. He had not felt this way, the ignition of a small swell of passion to not involve swordsmanship, ever before. 

In all the realms of intimacy and subtle touches, Zoro was inexperienced in receiving and reciprocating. Zoro was, for lack of a better word, a virgin to such an expression of unbridled affection. 

“Th-Thanks, I guess?” he grunted, his brows arching at you. You giggled, patting him on the shoulder and offering him a warm smile. 

“You’re welcome, soldier,” you cooed up at him before turning on your heel, following the gentle rise in rhythm with your hips, dancing along to Brook’s playing. He followed your movement with a keen eye, more enthusiastic about your gentle sway and soft laughter than he was moments prior. 

Monkey D Luffy

“Oh, Captain!” you smiled at him, hooking your arm over his shoulder and drawing him close to your face, “Your cheeks are so cute. I could just-,” you halted your words, lunging forward and peppering his tanned cheeks with several fluttered kisses, humming throughout each press. 

“Oi, oi, Docinho,” he chuckled, swatting at your hands and writhing within your arms, “Stop that. I am a hardened criminal. I am a captain! You’re not meant to think I’m cute, you’re meant to dote on me and offer me tribute of your loyalty!” You giggled, allowing him to swipe your body away from his. 

His eyes darted away from yours, his lips curved in a soft pout with his brows furrowing in a deep frown. For a moment, you thought you truly offended him by your lips finding his skin. Your eyes widened, your hands shaking defensively to desperately retract your affectionate touch.

“I’m sorry, Captain. I didn’t mean to-,” you were silenced by several inexperienced kisses littering your cheeks, nose and forehead. The cheeky chuckle that followed each of the small pecks only prompted your mind to chase your heart with its rapidity. He placed his hands over your shoulders, laughing whole-heartedly at your frazzlement. 

“If this is the way you’re offering me tribute as a wonderful captain,” he hummed thoughtfully, “Perhaps I’m not so bad at the job after all.” 

Trafalgar D Water-Law

“You work too hard,” you sigh against his cheek, pulling away from his cool flesh and raking your eyes over his face, “You deserve to take a break some time.” You watched the small hue of pink rise to dust over his cheeks, his hair at the nape of his neck standing alert and rigid. 

Unsure what exactly prompted you to seek out your captain’s cheek with your lips, you were regretting the small brush of your lips over his smooth skin the instant you drew yourself away. Watching as Law inhaled a deep breath through his nose, he exhaled a lengthy breath through his lips: following the small gesture with a soft hum. 

“Just know that you’re appreciated, Sir,” you reiterated your stance, ensuring you held your eyes against his to reinforce your seriousness, “I-... We appreciate you, Captain. We love you, and want to help you achieve your goals. Just-... Just know that, okay?” 

Yellow eyes followed your exit, watching every step that you took and hearing the hollow floor ricochet the reverberating tap of your boot heel. His haunted gaze held firm to your retreat, silence growing heavy at the closure of his office door. 

He could not stop thinking about the kiss all day. The way your lips felt against his cheek, the way he felt the small elevation of your smile - the way his heart swelled in his chest, and the way his breath caught in his throat. He wanted to know what it meant. He needed to know if you were being friendly and supportive, or if you wanted more. 

Lips over his cheek, the catching over the words “I appreciate you” with your reassurances that he is loved and worthy of devotion, inhibited him from welcoming slumber for several days. In the hopes of providing him encouragement and loyalty to soothe his rapidly sporadic mind, you aided in him in only finding restlessness. 

Growling at his own racing emotions, he hastily drew up the transponder snail and dialed your personal shell. He awaited the annoying hum, the crackle of the receiver halting as you picked up the call. 

“C-Captain?” your groggy voice called over the snail, “Cap, it’s nearly five in the morning. I clocked off the overnight shift and only just got to sleep-.”

“-Do you love me?” he quickly spurted the words before he could stop them. 

Your mind did not have the capacity to mask your words, given your groggy sleep deprivation. Yawning your answer into the transponder, Law’s heart raced at hearing your words.

“Of course I love you. We all love you,” you confirmed, rolling your neck and taking a moment to collect yourself, “You’re my captain. I pledged my allegiance to follow you, sir. What are you calling me at-?”

“-No,” Law’s voice crackled over the receiver, his tone immediately waking you of your prior tired state, “I need to know what it meant. I need to know what it meant. Why did you kiss me?”

“What?” you began, shaking your head and brows beginning to knit in confusion, “I don’t understand what you’re-.”

“-Why would you kiss me knowing your lips would haunt me? Knowing that that kiss you gave would scorch and mark my heart?” his voice rose as his temper boiled over the edge. “You know I closed myself off to this bullshit. You know what giving me a small amount of your affection would do to me. Why would you-?”

“-Because I love you, Law,” you uttered in a low voice. You flung your legs over the bed, feet finding your sleep shoes beneath your mattress. Your confession hung heavy in the air, your heart and mind fully awake and comprehending your every waking minute. Silence was heavy and swollen with tension, your mind racing over all the possible retorts Law could throw at you. 

Dismissal, execution, exile, abandonment: these were the responses you deduced to be the most appropriate response. In its stead, you were greeted with a small huffed chuckle and a low rumbled retort.

“Come to my office,” he hummed into the receiver, “Show me more. I-I-...” the transponder crackled as Law found his words, “...-I need more.”

Eustass Kid

“In some cultures, it’s seen as a sign of respect,” you nodded your head, bowing your down to him, “It’s an extension of submission and admission to serve beneath a mighty ruler. Hands are the most common to touch, but kissing a cheek is the most intimate expression of-.”

“-Fine, you can kiss me,” the gruff rumble of Eustass Kid’s voice dismissively crackled. He rolled his eyes, turning his cheek away from you to hide the bite of his lip to stifle his rising blush. 

Affectionate touches was not something Kid, nor his crew, were very experienced in receiving. When he offered you the chance of joining his crew to achieve his goals, Eustass Kid did not expect you to dote and coddle each of his crewmen into submission beneath your affectionate touches. As the last member of his crew to be a recipient of your gentle touch, he truly did not comprehend why his heart was beating with anxious rapidity. 

“Only if you’re sure-,” you began, halted by a harsh bark from your captain.

“-I said it was fine, didn’t I?” his gruff voice cut through the air. While his head was still turned from you, he stretched out his right hand to await a small touch from your lips. 

But his cheek was right there. You couldn’t help but spring at the opportunity to rise up to Eustass Kid’s seated position on the wooden bench aboard the deck. He was ripe for doting and peppering a flurry of kisses all over his face, but you held yourself back from such an expression of unbridled affection. You opted to start slow.

Gently touching his shoulders, you stooped down and pressed a sweet and intentional kiss atop the apple of his cheek. You felt his breath catch in his throat, an unintentional whimper halting in his nose at the soft expression of your admiration.

As you pulled away from him, your upper left arm was caught by the wide and firm grasp of the captain of the Victoria-Punk. His face was still turned away from you, but the crimson hue of his pale face gave away the elevation of his heartbeat. 

“I’m sorry, Captain. I should’ve just gone for the hand-,” you began, attempting to tug away from his grip and apologize properly to him. 

“C-Can I-...” he grunted out a gruff cough, continuing to hold his face away from yours, “...Can I have another one?”

Kid

Walking back to the Victoria Punk you couldn’t help but feel hurt by the way Kid treated you and he talked to you. If he could get very friendly with random woman in front of you, just imagine if he’s behind a closed door. Not wanting to think about that, you just walk into the ship and lock yourself in your guys shared bedroom. “Stupid Kid….why is he so mean….he doesn’t love me….why should I even stay with him. He’s nothing but a dirty pirate…”

Back at the bar, Kid couldn’t help but walk back to the bar. As if nothing happened, he wasn’t gonna let your insecurities and tears ruin his night. Making his way back to the woman he went back to talking to her, forgetting about you. “Sorry about that, just had a little problem. But I’m here babe.” He laughs, and wraps a arm around her. And this girl couldn’t help but giggle.

Hours passes by and the crew was getting rowdy with the amount of beer they’ve had. While Kid was getting more and more drunk by the second. And he was getting closer to this unknown woman. To the point where the Crew was getting uncomfortable. But they didn’t dare speak to their captain and lecture him about your guys relationship. And suddenly Kid was too lost in his drunken state and shared a sloppy kiss with this woman.

“THAT’S ENOUGH!” Killer suddenly yelled out. And marched towards Kid and ripped him away. And pointed at the woman. “You get out.” And with that she scoffed and walks off. And as she walked off, Killer lead Kid out of the bar. Giving a slight shove once they were outside. “What the hell is your problem Kid?!”

“What the hell is YOUR PROBLEM!” Kid yelled back, while Killer just stood there and crossed his arms across his chest. “First Y/N! And now you!” He began to yell out, and suddenly groans and rubs his head. “God dammit…headache…too much beer.”

“Kid…what the hell were you thinking huh?” Killer snaps, and Kid was about to reply but was quickly shut down. “I’m speaking, shut up.” Which made Kid grumble.

“Why are you doing this? Especially towards Y/N…you know that they really love and care about you. And you’re throwing away something good because you’re thinking about with your other head.” He said and shook his head. “Y/N loves and cares about you, they even threw away their old normal life to run off with someone like you…with us Kid..”

Kid just stood there, he was pissed off because Killer was lecturing him, he was right but he didn’t want to hear it. “Whatever…I’m sure Y/N is still on the ship, I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to them.” He said and turns around with a scoff and began walking off. Which left Killer shaking his head. “Let’s hope so.”

Kids feet quickly made their way to his ship, he was thinking about Killer’s words. Fuck…did he fuck up. And once he made inside the ship it was quite without the crew. He looked around and saw nothing, and he was getting a bit worried. He looked in girls cabin…nope. In the kitchen…nope. In the bathrooms…nope…he even tried his workshop and nothing. Panic began to flow through his body, and he immediately made his way to your guys cabin. And once he opened the door he was expecting to meet you but he was met with nothing. “FUCK! Stop hiding from me! Please…”

He looks around and saw that your belongings were gone. And it’s as if you never lived here. Kid began to panic to the point where he began to trash his room. Breaking stuff and yelling. He punched a hole on the wall and growled. “I’m so fucking fucking stupid…” He mumbled and sighed. For once he felt alone…sitting on the bed. He saw a note on his pillow, grabbing it he began to scan the words.

“Dear Eustass. I took your advice. I didn’t let the door hit me on the way out. Have a nice life without me asshole and enjoy all the woman you want. Don’t come looking for me.”

It was a simple note but it bought his world crashing down. And for once he broke down crying, the one good thing he had in his life was now gone because he was stupid. “UGH! FUCK!! I FUCKED UP!!

He was alone…he wanted you there when he becomes King of the Pirates..

Law

The night time rolled around and Law was still in his office, he was still mentally beating himself off, never in your guys relationship he spoke to you like that before and he felt ashamed of himself. He knew you were looking out for him but he was into his work that he dismissed you in a harsh way. But soon after he had to own up to his mistakes and apologize about his behavior.

Walking out of his office he headed to his private cabin, assuming you were there and thank god you were, but you were laying on the bed crying softly . He walks in the room and closes the door behind him. And sat on the edge of the bed. “Hey…can we talk.”

You didn’t answer, you just kept laying there. And Law sighed “Look I know I said some harsh things…but I was too busy with my work that I didn’t consider your feelings.” He began to rant out and he rubs a hand over his face. You still weren’t answering him, which of course made him annoyed but he took a deep breath and spoke up again. “And I do appreciate you looking out for me and I well….um..”

As Law was speaking he caught your attention, was he trying to apologize? It really seemed out of character for him. Sitting up, you wipe your tears. Law couldn’t help but flinch slightly, your puffy red eyes, tear stain cheeks…was all his fault.

“Yes? What are you trying to say Captain?” You say, and he cringes. Not the Captain name calling…not now..

“Look….I said some things that were unnecessary towards you and I wanted to come here and well…um apologize..” He said but mumbled the last part. And let’s be honest Law isn’t one to apologize for his actions. But when it came to you he had to do it.

“Excuse me I didn’t hear that last part. Care to repeat yourself Captain.” You say, and stare directly in his eyes, and Law grumbled. “I said I was sorry…I’m sorry..”

“Again? I didn’t hear ya.”

“I said I was sorry! Okay! I’m sorry! I shouldn’t have snapped at the one person who has my heart! Okay! I’m sorry being an asshole!” He suddenly barked out and sighed. “Look…I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to call you annoying and tell you those awful words. I shouldn’t be treating you the way I did…I love you and I don’t want to lose you…and I’m so sorry…I’m sorry Y/N.”

You didn’t say anything and just look at him, which was making him shift around. Before speaking up again. “Look I really appreciate the apology. But what you said was really hurtful….but seeing that you apologized does make me feel a bit better.”

Law sighed heavily “So are we good? Water under the bridge?”

“Not exactly…you have to make it up. And don’t tell me how you can do it. That’s for you to figure out Captain.” You say, teasing him slightly. Law eyes you but he nodded. “Now come on. Let’s get you some food and this time I’m not taking no for an answer.”

Law couldn’t help but smile slightly, you grabbed his hand and he follows you. “I don’t say this often but I Really do love you…so much.”

“I love you too Law.”
