CROSS GUILD ANIME DEBUT

Aaaaa Cross Guild is officially in the anime Aaaaaaa. Was hoping for scene to cut into Buggy being beaten up by Croc and Mihawk. Still very happy 😊 Also, I just love it when there r silly and slice of life moments near the end of an arc.

What I noticed in the episode is Law in an undershirt because he had a yellow long shirt over it. Then we see Robin turning last minute to see Law walk to his ship.

I know it showed for a quick moment she was in a long shirt. I would be smiling if we got a better look to see if it was his or she decided to wear the same type of shirt. So this would have felt like a boyfriend/girlfriend type of moment

Woah for whatever reason today's anime episode really emphasized that Law knows something about the man with burned scar, what's up with that?

not only is he shaking, but you can hear how scarred he was in his voice. while he did succeed in his mission, there were still things he 'failed' during it even though there wasn't a choice. plus, he saw imu and barely escaped the gorosei. he is shaken up by that day

and not to make things worse or anything... (as i think about this a lot and did mention it before...) imagine sabo checking luffy's vivre card and helplessly watching it burn away. when he swore- /vowed/ to be by his brother's side no matter where he was. but all is good cause luffy's alive !!

still, despite the mission's success, he couldn't do what he wanted. he couldn't save cobra and he watched lulusia disappear. he's badly injured yet when he returned, he smiles and laughs as he is happily welcomed in arms.

and mind you, sabo Is an emotional person. he was raging when he saw kuma's state during the start of reverie. and as i looked back at chapter 1085, he screams out cobra's name as he watches him die...

imagine how sabo feels in that very moment. how he feels watching someone he wanted to save die in front of him. even though cobra told him not to, sabo tried anyway but couldnt. like how he couldnt protect his brothers because he didnt remember them until it was too late

Wonder how Sabo will react when Luffy tells him about Tama.

AAAAAAAA Next week's One Piece anime episode is the Cross Guild episode (Episode 1083) AAAAAA. Can't wait to see my favorite Clown Failing Upwards animated and being bullied by Croc and Mihawk. Ooo I need to make a Cross Guild sketch to celebrate it if I have time 👀

I’m not seeing folks (who must be anime only) realise that both Law’s and Robin’s reaction at the end of episode 1083 are to Kid’s words about “the man with a scar.” If it’s Dragon, it explains Robin’s reaction, but not Law’s. IIntrigued though!)

I like my LawBin as much as any other LawBin shipper, but I don’t think Robin’s eyeing Law. She just also happened to overhear Kid. Of course there’s room for lots of development.

And here I was thinking the anime made it clearer, but I guess that without the manga reference, perhaps it didn’t? Or folks are just having fun and it’s going over my head. Wouldn’t be the first time!

Very important screenshots from the new episode. I'm left at a crossroads here. We do pretty much get a straight retelling of 1056. Notably we will not get anything extra out of Kiku in a scene where being conspicuously mum has meaning. Very good. If anything we theoretically gave her an extra space to weave that in showing her & Kin arriving. Also, yep! She did switch back to her classic kimono.

What has my interest piqued though is next week. We are going to slip in a filler episode, one that seems like it'll bring us back around to that old ramshackle teahouse vibe. As advertised, looks like we'll recap and have Luffy saying his goodbye to Tama. But our preview does show Kiku with the gang, recall the trick for this one though. Who knows what point of their involvement that happens in? It could be anything. I gotta admit it'd feel really weird to perfectly preserve the mystery then dump the actual closure in a filler episode. But it could happen.

You have that shot of the extra person potentially in 1057...maybe that's the type of trick that only works in a single manga panel? We've seen that type of tweak elsewhere. I'm earnestly just really, really curious what they do for this. Even if it's just a nice, extra fluffy episode of Wano's coda.
