Okey, we came back to the side story of Kuma, who was not going back to Mary Geoise but crossing the RedLine, although he doesn't seem to be consious, Akainu says he still bleeds. It seems he may be going back to Bonney. Why though?

The fight between Kizaru and Luffy starts right away the admiral seem to have advantage taking our captain out of the dome and destroying vega-force 01 in the process. However Luffy crosses through the barrier and MAKES HIMSELF GIGANT.

Honestly I don't know why I'm amaze by this, we know the ""gomu gomu"" is only limited by the users imagination but it still incredible seeing it in action

Borsalino seem to really dislike his Jon at this moment and maybe the story is setting him up to betray the marines, you know, we would have Kuzan who left, Borsalino who betrays and Akainu who is fully in synch with the marines ideology

Finally they keep calling Bonney a child, I know that to Kizaru someone her age must be a child but I have seen people theorising Bonney being and actual child so now I am scared

Oh yeah and the ancient robot is waking up

actually re: saturn insulting akainu in the newest chapter, this is also something i was thinking about earlier this arc, when akainu was fighting kuma at mariejois, and as he was attempting to fend off this quite genuine threat, the celestial dragons were just sort of hanging around and whining at him about all the minor inconveniences in their privileged lives.

akainu is the most committed servant of the world government's vision. he questions no orders and has no doubts of the rightness of his cause. he will destroy an entire ship fill of civilians on the off chance that a single scholar may have snuck aboard. and what does it get him?

it gets him the very people he's defending demeaning him because they can't have lobster. there will never be any gratitude for that loyal service he's rendered, because the celestial dragons see it as nothing less than their due. and as we see in the most recent chapter, even the slightest or most unavoidable failure will get him ruthlessly insulted. at the end of the day the celestial dragons see akainu as, like all other people, fundamentally lesser, and therefore unworthy of respect.

this is the system you're slaughtering for, akainu. hope you like it.

Luffy -- the sun -- is the power source feeding the ancient iron warrior, isn't he?

The drums of liberation sound ドンドン is killing me yeah; and it is probably that sound -- that sounds coming off Luffy’s heartbeat -- that is reawakening the iron warrior.

Also worth mentioning that Luffy was "knocked down there"; probably close enough for his song to reawaken the warrior.

guess who’s down to a normal(ish) number of fics. surprise, it’s me. I played so much beach vball yesterday (we won), but my body is cramped and I will be doing no moving today, which means writing.

Avengers AU: 7144 words; once No Love Like Your Love chapter 14 is posted and 15 is halfway done, I am going to start posting this. It’s heavy ensemble, but will work best in the No Love style where I work on chapters with purpose

Maribel AU: 1092 words; PRETTY DETERMINED to finish this for Ladies’ Week, so I’m going to give it focus; doubt it will creep higher than 4k as it’s meant to be a few flashes of scenes

Jesse Manes Gets a “Genie” Wish and Uses It Horribly: 360 words - goal is to get this past 1000, should be easy

“Zombie” Alex: 1153 words

The Mummy AU: 1895 words

No Love Like Your Love, Ch. 14: 250 words; the truth is I need to figure out what I want to put in the opening scene and I feel like I’m missing something, but I have starts to all three scenes that will be in the chapter. Gonna try and give this attention

Stardust AU: 3158 words, the next chapter is ready to be posted, I just need to edit, so that’s on the plate

So, today’s focus: edit Stardust, finish Maribel piece, over 1000 on genie story, and general progress on everything else

We know the revolutionaries brought Kuma to Kamabakka Kingdom - which happens to be on the 1st half of the Grand Line (Paradise).

Now, Kuma has climbed the Red line; fought his way through, but he doesn't seem to want to wreck the place. He wants to pass through and cross into the 2nd half of the Grand Line (New World).

Akainu mentions; 'You’ve lost your will, your mind, everything…' Where could you be going?
