“Then I will ask for your removal from your duties. You are to leave this dreadful occupation. Perform for your own love of performance.”
“Your majesty, you’ve always had such a way of making the impossible seem so simple.”
Edward leans back in his chair, cowl jingling as his head hits the carved stone. Steven approaches the chair wearily, leaning against it as he speaks. “I mean it, Edward. You will be freed.” He offers Edward a look of certainty. The look he gives when he commands his subjects.
“I am tethered to this wretched place, Steven,” Eddie says, voice breaking. “My fathers curses fall upon me so cruelly. For his sins against your family, I will forever be tethered to this place- to this role. I will forever be your fool. Your family’s entertainment- their payback for my father’s wrongdoings. If I were to leave this place-…” He trails off, imagining the outside air- the sunshine, and the subsequent torture that would ensue as the bindings of the curse suddenly wrapped tighter around Edward’s soul. “Well if I were to leave this place, Steven, I fear there would be more than the King and Queen’s disdain I would have to face.”
“That is why you will be leaving with me.” Steven says. Oh, how he says things so simply. How it rolls off of his tongue and hits Edward’s ears like music!
“Your majesty..” Edward mutters, a somber tone echoing his empty chamber.
“You mustn’t call me that,” Steven says, leaning closer to explore Edward’s downward gaze. “Not anymore. At dusk, I will retrieve you. You will shed that cowl once and for all- you will explore every possible realm beyond your wildest dreams. I will escape my duties as prince, and you will escape your curse. I promise you, Edward. Please.”
Edward mulls the idea over in his head, mouth slightly agape as he fumbles through his racing thoughts to form one- just one- cohesive response. Freedom would taste sweet. Especially sweet if Steven had anything to do with it.
“At dusk?” Edward asks.
“Yes,” Steven replies with a nod, reaching to grasp Edward’s hand in his. “We will slip into the night together. Just you and I. We both have something to escape, Edward. I’d want nobody else by my side but you.”
Edward sighs, a small chill running through his body as he imagined the carnage that could follow their sudden disappearances. But the look in Steven’s eyes eases it all- convinces him, somehow, they will find a way. He brings Steven’s hand to his lips, pressing them against his knuckles before pulling away.
“Your wish is my command.”

Until the Last Loop: Familiar Faces
(Days spent with them making new memories- a silent attempt at forging a new life before it will be ripped away once more)
Poly mercenaries 141 x princess reader
Part One
The castle breathed with life and the scent of burning tallow, but to you, it might as well have been a tomb. Its towering walls and narrow corridors, carved from cold stone and lined with faded tapestries, had grown too familiar over the cycles- prisons that wore different faces but caged you all the same, and you were the bird locked within it each life, merely with different feather each time.
You sung the same melody, regardless. A melody that would soon be snuffed out.
You moved through the halls like a shadow, your impending doom hanging over you like clock that never stopped ticking until its last moments. Servants parted for you without meeting your gaze, and although whispers followed in your wake, they no longer stung the way they once had. You had long since grown used to the weight of their words, their gazes full of pity and disdain. They had become just another layer of the endless loop, a reflection of your precarious standing with the royal lineage.
But the men- the four who trailed in your footsteps, sent by your father to report all your moves back to him with the excuse of protecting you- were different.
They were a presence you couldn’t shake, no matter how many lifetimes passed. Always close, always steady, their shadows filled the empty spaces others left behind. And unlike the others, they weren’t afraid to look at you.
In some lives, you despised them. What comfort could four men give you when all you wanted was your father’s love? Your people’s adoration? Friends your age? None whatsoever.
In other lives, you had been distant. You kept them at arms’ length, unwilling to even converse with them. They were of no use to your desperation to free yourself from this cursed cycle.
You’ve lost count of how many loops you’ve gone through. Even now, you do not know how it started; who started it. A cruel curse, that’s what it was, and you were its constant victim. It was inevitable, so why… keep away the only people willing to be near you?
And so this time, you let them close.
Soap was the first to slip past your walls, an unsurprising fact.
It was late when you found yourself sitting in the gardens, the air sharp with the chill of night. The roses were dying, their petals curling inward as frost crept along the edges, and you wondered- just for a moment- how many times you had seen them bloom and wither like this.
Too many times.
You were alone with him; no maid or lady-in-waiting was willing to accompany you, though rather than saying that, they jusy boldly lied and said they had prior arrangements to the king.
The king. Your father. It was always him. You wished he’d hate you a little less, just enough to not rob you of the care you’ll always long for like a child stumbling through the cold for a flicker of fire, of warmth.
Wistful dreams.
Soap sat down beside you without invitation, though his presence didn’t feel unwelcome. His easy smile was softer in the moonlight, and when he offered you his cloak, you didn’t refuse it.
“You look like you’re waitin’ for somethin’,” he said, voice low but steady, starting the conversation. By now, they’ve come to understand that you are… so different from whatever everyone said of you. You were quiet, your presence squeezed and molded into a tiny nook of the castle so easy to forget.
You didn’t answer right away, letting the silence stretch. The words came slower, heavier now- weighted by too many winters and too many deaths.
“I think it’s waiting for me,” you breathed out, fingers brushing the edge of the cloak. The flowers fluttered when a breeze blew by, bending in the directionaway from you; they pitied you, too, for not even they’d be placed upon your grave once you were dead. “… My end, I mean.”
Soap didn’t flinch. He didn’t try to deny it, either. He did not have any loyalty to the king or keeping his secrets; no mercenary would bother even if they’d lifk the king’s hand for his gold and coins.
Snakes, all of them. And yet- they were the ones who got to live, so the last laugh was theirs.
“Well,” he said instead, leaning back on his palms, “if it comes knockin’, ye just let me know. I’ll handle it.”
You almost smiled. Almost.
Soap didn’t leave right after that, like you expected.
He stayed, stretched out beside you on the stone bench like he had nowhere better to be, his broad shoulders relaxed but his eyes sharp as they roamed the shadows pooling in the corners of the garden. The scent of dying roses lingered in the air, sweet and cloying, and you wondered if he noticed the way your hands trembled when you smoothed the cloak over your lap.
If he did, he didn’t say anything.
Instead, he tilted his head back and gazed at the stars, his voice softer when he spoke again.
“Ye know, my mum used to say the stars are just folk lookin’ down on us,” he said, accent curling thick around the words. “Watchin’, guidin’… makin’ sure we dinna wander too far off the path.”
You blinked at him. “And what if the path leads… nowhere?”
Soap turned his head to look at you then, eyes dark. “Then ye make yer own.”
It was such an earnest thing to say, so full of conviction that it made something in your chest twist painfully. You couldn’t tell him how many times you’d tried to do just that- tried to fight and claw your way toward a different ending, only to be dragged back to the start again.
Soap didn’t know. None of them did.
And yet, as you sat there with his warmth seeping through the cloak and his words lingering in the air like a promise, you found yourself wishing- just for a moment- that he was right.
That you could carve your way out of this nightmare and leave the endless cycle behind.
But that was foolish.
So instead, you leaned back against the bench and let your eyes drift shut, pretending not to notice the way Soap’s hand hovered near the dagger at his side, ready to draw at the first sign of danger.
Pretending you didn’t feel safer for it.
Ghost was harder to pin down. He lingered on the edges, silent as your grave, but his presence was impossible to ignore.
When the nightmares came- and they always did, another constant- you found him at your door. He never asked questions, never pried. He simply stood guard, silent, until the trembling stopped.
One night, when sleep refused to come after a day of listening to awful, false whispers of you, you found yourself seated on the rug in front of the hearth, staring into the flames. Ghost leaned against the wall, his mask a stark contrast against the flickering light.
“They won’t hurt you.” He said suddenly, rough and low.
You didn’t look at him. You watched the flickering fire, and was rewarded with whispers of the lives where you’d been burned at the stake. “They always do.”
“They won’t.”
And maybe it was foolish, but for once, you almost believed him.
You pulled your knees closer to your chest, eyes fixed on the flames as if they could burn away the memories pressing in from all sides.
Ghost didn’t move from his place against the wall. He was a silhouette in the firelight, broad shoulders and sharp angles, the hollow black of his mask turning him into something almost otherworldly.
You didn’t ask why he was there. He never explained himself, and you never pushed.
After a while, he broke the silence again.
“They’re scared of you.”
His voice was quiet, still rough like gravel, but it cut through the room as sharply as any blade.
You swallowed, your gaze still locked on the fire. You couldn’t look away. “No. They hate me.”
Ghost didn’t argue. He let the silence stretch, his eyes never leaving you.
You weren’t sure why that bothered you more than words would have.
“They’re scared,” he repeated finally, slower this time. Firmer. “And scared people do stupid things.”
You let out a short, bitter laugh. “Like cutting off my head?”
Ghost tilted his head, and something about the way he looked at you made your chest tighten.
“They won’t get the chance, princess.” He said, and there was something cold in his voice that sent a shiver down your spine.
You turned to face him then, finally meeting his gaze. Or at least, what you thought was his gaze beneath the mask. It was impossible to tell, but you felt it- heavy, unflinching.
“You can’t stop it, Ghost.”
Ghost didn’t flinch. Didn’t waver. “Watch me.”
The words shouldn’t have meant anything. They shouldn’t have mattered when you already knew how this would end- how it always ended. Those words were treacherous to whatever the king wanted and expected of him.
But as the fire crackled and the shadows danced along the walls, you let yourself believe him. Just for a little while.
Because Ghost wasn’t the kind of man who made promises.
And yet, when he spoke, it sounded like one.
… yet you knew, not all promises can be kept.
Gaz was gentler than the others. Thoughtful. Attentive in a way that made your chest ache, because it had been so long since anyone had looked at you without seeing the stain on your birthright first and you second.
He helped you practice with a dagger one afternoon, though you both knew it wouldn’t be of much use to you. The sharp clang of metal rang out against the training yard walls as he corrected your grip, his hands warm against yours.
When was the last time you’d been held like that?
Far too long ago. Far too many lives ago.
“Careful,” he said, guiding the blade down in a smooth arc. “Keep your stance steady.”
You frowned. “What does it matter?”
Gaz tilted his head, eyes searching yours. “You’re still here, aren’t you?”
And wasn’t that the cruelest part? That no matter how many times you died, you always woke up again?
You didn’t answer, and Gaz didn’t press. Instead, he let you lean into him when the weight of it all grew too heavy, when the weight of more than just the training pressed down on you.
Gaz stayed close after that- close enough that you started to notice the small things.
The way his eyes lingered on you just a little longer than they should, watching for signs of exhaustion or the fear you tried so hard to hide. The way his touch was always secure but never overbearing, grounding you without demanding more than you were willing to give.
He made you feel… safe.
It was dangerous.
Foolish.
But you let him stay anyway. You stayed with him anyway.
The dagger gleamed in the sunlight as you practiced another strike, the blade slicing cleanly through the air. Gaz nodded approvingly, stepping back just enough to give you space, though his presence was still a solid weight at your side.
“Better,” he said, his voice warm but firm. “You’re getting the hang of it, princess. Maybe you’ll give us a run of our money, eh?”
You lowered the blade, breathing hard as you wiped the sweat from your brow. You couldn’t find it within yourself to be humorous “I’m not sure it’ll matter in the end.”
Gaz frowned at that, stepping closer. “Don’t say that.”
You almost laughed. Almost. “You don’t understand.”
His hand came up then, gentle as he tilted your chin to face him. The look in his eyes knocked the breath from your lungs- steady and sure, like he was trying to hold you together with sheer force of will.
“Maybe I don’t,” he admitted, voice low. “But I do know this- every time you get back up, it matters.”
You didn’t realize you were trembling until his hand dropped to your shoulder, grounding you with the warmth of his touch.
“Don’t give up yet, princess,” he murmured, softer now. “Not on yourself.”
It was almost too much. Too kind. Too hopeful.
You wanted to tell him that hope had no place here- not in this endless loop of death and betrayal and grief. Not in this damned castle- but the words wouldn’t come, caught in your throat like fish in a net.
So instead, you let him take the dagger from your hands, let him press it back into its sheath before leading you toward the shade of the courtyard’s edge.
And when he sat beside you, close enough that your shoulders brushed, you didn’t pull away.
Because for once, it didn’t feel like a burden to be seen.
Price was the hardest to read.
He was steady, commanding- his presence filled the room like the smoke of chimneys, lingering long after he was gone. He carried himself like a man who had seen too much and lost too many, and sometimes, when he looked at you, you thought you saw the ghost of something more.
He didn’t speak often, but when he did, his words stayed with you.
“Do you ever wonder, princess,” he asked one evening, standing by the window with a wooden cup of mead in his hand. You didn’t know how he’d even snuck it in, but you weren’t going to snitch. “if we’re all just pieces on your father’s board?”
You blinked at him, startled by the sudden question.
“All the time.” You said.
His gaze lingered on you a moment longer, and there was something unreadable in it.
You wanted to ask what he meant, why the sudden question, but he turned away before you could, leaving you to sit and stew with the thought.
And stew you did.
Because Price wasn’t wrong, was he?
You already knew your father had lied- about these mercenaries, their orders, everything.
They weren’t here to protect you. Not really.
No knights would take you, no nobles wanted you, and no one in the kingdom would lay down their sword for a bastard-born princess whose only crime was existing. Yet here they were, these hardened men, mercenaries paid in coin and silence, assigned to watch your every move.
Not guard you. Watch you.
Keep you until the day you were dragged to your death once more.
You’d known it the moment Price first stepped through your door, his eyes sweeping the room like he was cataloging exits instead of protecting them. The others were subtler- Soap with his easy charm, Ghost with his patient silence, Gaz with his careful words- but Price?
Price didn’t even try to hide it.
And maybe that was the worst part.
Because he didn’t look at you the way others did. He didn’t sneer, didn’t pity, didn’t hate. He looked at you like he was waiting.
Waiting for what?
For you to run? To slip up? To hand him the excuse he needed to drag you before your father in chains, so he could take the money and leave?
The thought made your stomach twist.
Because no matter how much you told yourself it didn’t matter- that the loop would end and begin again, and none of this would last- it still sank its claws into you.
And the next time Price caught you watching him from across the room, you didn’t look away.
Not at first.
He held your gaze, steady and unreadable, but there was no malice in it- no sharp edges or hidden teeth. Just something quiet. Something that almost felt like understanding.
When you finally turned away, you expected the weight of it to linger, to drag down your shoulders and settle in your chest like an unwelcome puff of smoke.
But it didn’t.
Instead, you felt the faintest flicker of warmth- barely there, fleeting as a dying ember- and hated how much you wanted to hold onto it.
Days turned to nights, and the hours slipped away like sand through your fingers. The loop pressed closer with every tick of the clock, and yet…
You didn’t feel so alone this time.
They were there- in the quiet moments, in the chaos, in the shadows of your worst fears- and though you knew it wouldn’t save you, you still let them stay.
Because this time, you didn’t have the strength to keep them away.
This time, you… wanted to have fond memories before your death.
Masterlist
I hope everyone’s been enjoying this so far! Any guesses on why reader is in a time loop and who might be responsible? :3

Feel free to use this or add your own flair.
Concept danny meets all of the batfam's civilian identities but in the way of triggering all of their must protect instincts but in the oddest of ways.
Danny had been helping clockwork in the inbetween time and unfortunately had spent a little too long as Phantom. Due to this he had to stay in his human form for atleast 5 years. Cue danny spending his time actually following his hobbies and fixing his school work.
Jazz set out to follow her dream completing her degree in phycology at Arkam. Danny of course followed her, fortunately Gotham had the most advanced aerospace engineering program in the world
Unfortunately while he knew or could easily figure out the work, the sheer amount of projects and work pieces tired him out more than even the ghost attacks did.
The first one he meets is Tim.
Danny has always ran on caffeine but now his morning coffee he orders at the corner of the dance studio gives both the barista and the regulars heart palpitations by just smelling it. This particular coffee shop was the only place willing to make his morning coffee Death's Dew.
His order is for them to make him a 1000ml thermos about seven eighths of the way with ristretto coffee where he adds 3 scoops of caffeine powder and a smidgen of pure ectoplasm mixed in with milk.
Distantly Danny realised that the unholy concoction woke the poor zombie of a man waiting beside him with pure smell alone and the barista was mumbling about smelling colors.
Danny barely remembered to pay for his coffee as he shuffled to his morning class not realizing that he was being stalked by a caffeine addict that begged the last few sips.
A few hours later WE employees watched with mounting horror as their chronically tired boss jitter about like a speedster with Parkinsons.
It took Tim 6 days to fall asleep and the man was never allowed to visit the Dead End coffee shop unsupervised again, despite owning the business.
After everything Tim finally figured out what his family feels like about his coffee addiction and a deep rooted concern formed for the man who's thermos he stole.

Freckles and Brownies

Felix x fem!reader
Warnings: spicy dreams, some smut (not deep), and reader is slightly older MDNI
Genre: neighbors/friends to lovers, fluff, smut
Summary: Your sweet neighbor Felix has the biggest crush on you. You try not to give in, but he's way too irresistible.
Tumblr media
You knew he was coming over even before you heard the knock on your door. Your apartment building had the thinnest walls in the history of thin walls - it was pathetic really.
But you liked your cute little apartment a lot - it was quiet (most of the time) and comfortable. Then there was Felix, your sweet neighbor who lived next door with his roommate, Jisung.
Felix was a joy to have around, because he was kind, considerate, and he always had a smile on his face. And he was totally obsessed with you.
He loved to bake and every time he baked, he would knock on your door, with a box of such yummy treats.
“Hey, I made extra. Thought you might like some,” he’d say, handing them over, with the softest smile on his face.
And your heart would skip a beat because, seriously, he looked like a fantasy wrapped in an apron.
Yes, you thought he was adorable. But he was your neighbor and you knew he was a few years younger, and so, adorable or not - you never crossed that line.
So, you pretended not to see the way he constantly blushed around you or the way his eyes would always linger a second too long. It was so hard, when he was right there in front of you, baking brownies or cookies every other day just so he could come and see you.
You had to draw a line. You had to.
Tumblr media
The night was quiet, except for the soft tapping of your fingers on your keyboard as you worked. You were in bed, hair pulled into a messy bun, a mug of tea in hand, trying to meet a deadline you couldn’t ignore.
Your focus, however, was shattered by a noise from the other side of the wall. The very wall that separated your apartment from Felix’s.
At first, it was very faint. A low, muffled groan. You paused, fingers hovering over the keys, straining to listen. Maybe Felix was having another one of his late-night gaming sessions with Jisung?
Then it came again. Oh that's definitely not related to gaming.
You froze. Because that was a moan. A low, breathy moan. And it was your name.
“Y/N…”
Your stomach dropped. No way. NO WAY!
But then you heard it again. And again. His voice, soft yet clear, filtering through the paper-thin wall separating your bedroom from his. The sounds that followed were unguarded, raw, and so unbelievably... dirty.
“Oh, God, Y/N…”
Your entire body flushed with embarrassment and something else entirely. You slapped a hand over your mouth completely scandalized.
Ok, you knew he liked you, but this? He couldn’t be…was he seriously…?
You quickly shook your head as if that would help banish the thought. No. Felix was sweet and innocent and, okay, not innocent, but still.
But then came another sound. This one unmistakable the creak of a bed frame, followed by a low, guttural moan that sent your imagination spiraling to a whole new level.
“Oh, fuck,” you heard him whisper. “So good…”
Your hands shot to your headphones. It wasn’t even a choice at this point - it was pure survival. You jammed them onto your head and cranked up the volume on your playlist. There.
Not that it worked. Because no matter how loud the music, you could still hear him in your head.
You buried your face in your hands. You weren’t supposed to be hearing this. You weren’t supposed to be thinking about how Felix - sweet, blushing, brownie-baking Felix - was currently doing whatever he was doing!
---
Meanwhile, on the other side of the wall…
Felix was lost in his dream, blissfully unaware of the chaos he was causing. In his dream, you were standing in his kitchen, wearing one of those pretty sweaters he always saw you in. But this time, the fabric was slipping off one of your shoulders as you leaned over the counter, a teasing smile on your lips. Oh he could see way more than just a bit of skin.
“Do you want a taste?” you asked, holding up your fingers dripping with chocolate.
He swallowed hard, his voice barely functioning. “Y-Yeah…”
You laughed softly, dipping your fingers into your mouth, licking them clean yourself.
“You have to ask nicely, baby.” you whispered.
His dream-self didn’t hesitate. He grabbed your wrist, pulling you closer, his lips crashing into your chocolate stained ones in a kiss so desperate, so needy, it made his whole body ache.
Felix let out a deep, throaty groan, clutching his pillow tightly as his dream-self pushed you against the counter, rutting against you like his life depended on it.
He pushed his face into his pillow, his hips moving against the mattress for some friction. He snaps awake, feeling a bit disoriented, but so damn hard and needy.
“Y/N…” he whispered, his voice so deep and raw. “I need you…”
His hand slips into his sweatpants, trying to help himself out of this mess, face still pressed into his pillow.
---
You yanked off your headphones, groaning in frustration. This was ridiculous. You were a grown woman. You could handle this.
You groaned as you heard another moan followed by the creaking of his bed (more frantically), and you threw yourself back onto your bed, burying your face in your pillow to stifle the hysterical laugh bubbling up in your chest.
This was insane. Completely, utterly insane. How are you supposed to face him tomorrow? You can't, not after this.
The next morning, you're walking down the hallway, so fatigued and sleep deprived after you spent the whole night unable to fall asleep. You were dressed for work, your bag in one hand, your phone in the other.
And the universe decided to play the most ridiculous joke on you, because there came Felix from the opposite side - t-shirt half-tucked, hair a little messy - looking totally…spent.
You tried to act casual, but he froze when he saw you.
“Morning!” he chirped, his face lighting up when he saw you. “You’re up early!”
“Yeah, well, work, you know…”
“Are you okay? You look kind of flustered.” Felix tilted his head, studying you.
“I’m fine!” you blurted, far too quickly.
“Are you sure? You seem a little... tense.” he said, and you narrowed your eyes at him.
Oh no, he wasn't doing this right now.
“Did you sleep well last night, Felix?” you asked, crossing your arms against your chest.
Felix blinked, a faint blush creeping up his neck as he said, “Uh... yeah. Why?”
You smiled sweetly, your tone laced with barely concealed mischief.
“Oh, no reason. You just seemed... very well-rested.”
Felix’s eyes widened, the realization hitting him rather mercilessly. “Oh my God.”
You raised an eyebrow, trying not to laugh at the poor boy.
“What's wrong?” you asked, and he turned bright red, his hands flying to cover his face.
“I- I didn’t - how did you - oh my God!”
You patted his shoulder, thoroughly enjoying his meltdown and said, “Don’t worry, Lixie. Your secret’s safe with me.”
And with that, you walked away, leaving Felix a stuttering, blushing mess in the hallway.
Tumblr media
Felix tried. He really did. After the mortifying revelation that you’d heard him, he swore to himself he’d keep his cool. He was a man, and he was going to act like it. Mature. Collected. Cool.
But every time he saw you, his resolve crumbled like one of his cookies.
You’d stopped by to return the Tupperware he’d given you last week (filled with brownies he’d baked as yet another excuse to see you). You were dressed casually in yoga pants and an oversized sweatshirt, your hair tied back, but Felix could hardly keep his composure.
“Thanks again for the brownies,” you said, handing him the container with a smile. “They were great. As always.”
His heart did a full somersault at your praise. He took the container, his fingers brushing yours, and you swore you felt him shiver.
“Oh, uh, yeah,” he stammered, cheeks dusted pink. “Anytime.”
He looked into the box that was definitely not empty, and saw that was indeed full.
“I made some lasagna, we never return empty containers,” you said with a wink and Felix blushed as he smiled.
“Thank you, Y/N.” He said, “Um, -”
A silence stretched between you two, broken only when Jisung called from inside, “Felix! Are you flirting with her again?!”
Your eyes went wide and Felix choked, turning toward the door.
“Im not - she’s not - shut up, Jisung!” he growled and you laughed, as Felix turned back to you, now red as a tomato.
“Anyway,” you said quickly, backing toward your apartment, “I’ve gotta go.”
“Yeah, of course!” Felix said, nodding too quickly. “See you later?”
“Sure,”
---
“I don’t know what to do,” you groaned, stirring your latte, as your best friend, Jennie eyed you with a smirk. “He’s so… sweet. And attractive. And every time I see him, I feel like I’m losing my mind.”
Jennie raised an eyebrow, sipping her Americano and said, “So, I don't see the problem?”
“The problem,” you emphasized, “is that he’s younger than me. What if he regrets it later?"
Jennie snorted.
“Oh, please. What's a couple of years have to do with anything? He’s an adult. He can vote, drive, drink - he's a big boy, Y/N. Stop making excuses.”
“It’s not just the age thing,” you protested. “We're neighbors. It’s messy. If it doesn't work out, I'd have to move and then-”
“Babe, he's hot,” Jennie added, waggling her eyebrows. “Come on, Y/N. The guy clearly worships you. I bet he’d walk barefoot through a field of Legos if you asked him to.”
“Jen-”
“Look,” she interrupted, leaning forward with a smirk, “I get it. You’re scared. But life’s short. If you want him, go for it.”
You groaned, dropping your head into your hands. Jennie was the worst. But she was also… not entirely wrong.
---
For Felix, this was a whole crisis.
No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t stop thinking about you. The way you smiled, the way you smelled when you leaned in just a little too close. It was driving him insane.
Jisung, of course, noticed his nonstop thirsting.
“Dude,” Jisung said, tossing the controller onto the couch as Felix stared blankly at his laptop. “What are you doing?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Felix muttered, though the pink tint to his ears gave him away.
“Oh, come on,” Jisung groaned. “It’s been, what, six months? You’re salivating every time she walks by.”
“She’s… amazing, ok? And perfect. And…” He trailed off, sighing deeply. “She’d never go for someone like me.”
“Why not?” Jisung asked, genuinely curious.
“Because she’s…her,” Felix said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. “She's beautiful, and successful. And-”
“And so into you,” Jisung interrupted. “I’ve seen the way she looks at you. Trust me, she’s interested.”
Felix shook his head, his heart aching. He wanted to believe it, but every time he got close to you, he felt like you were slipping through his fingers.
Tumblr media
That night, as you lay in bed, your mind wandered back to Felix. To his soft voice, his shy smile, and the way he looked at you like you were his entire world.
You groaned, rolling onto your side. This was ridiculous. Jennie’s words echoed in your mind, Life’s short. If you want him, go for it.
You shook your head, trying to push the thought away. But then you heard it - the doorbell.
You sat up, heart racing. It was almost midnight. You slipped out of bed and walked to your door. You heard the bell again, and this time, Felix’s voice with it.
“Y/N?” Felix’s voice was soft but urgent. “It’s me.”
You opened the door quickly to find Felix standing there, looking equal parts nervous and determined.
“Felix, is everything ok?”
“I can’t stop thinking about you,” he blurted out, his freckles stark against his flushed cheeks. “I know this is crazy, and I know I probably don’t have a chance, but… I had to tell you. Because it’s driving me crazy. You’re driving me crazy.”
You stared at him, your heart pounding so loudly you were sure he could hear it.
“Felix, I -”
“I don't know what to do,” he continued, his voice trembling. “But I need you to know. I’m completely, hopelessly in love with you.”
—---
The clock on your nightstand read 2:47 AM. You’d been lying in bed for hours, unable to sleep, your head spinning.
Felix’s confession played on repeat in your head.
I’m completely, hopelessly in love with you.
The words had shattered something inside you. You’d wanted to say something, anything, but all you’d managed was a stunned silence - staring at him with your mouth open, that he gave you a rushed goodnight. And bolted.
Since then, you’d been teetering on the edge of panic and longing. You didn't say anything. Anything at all. And seeing the disappointment in those big beautiful eyes of his, seeing his face crumble with sadness at your silence was absolutely heartbreaking.
You turned onto your side, facing the wall you shared with Felix. Your heart ached, the weight of unspoken feelings pressing down on your chest. He was right there, so close, yet you couldn’t bring yourself to bridge the gap.
---
Felix lay on his back, staring at the ceiling, his hands gripping the sheets like they were the only things tethering him to reality.
He had spilled his heart to you, thinking it would work. And now? Now it felt like his heart was breaking into a thousand pieces.
You hadn’t said anything. Not a single word to give him hope or closure. He tried to convince himself you were just processing, that you weren’t rejecting him - but the silence was the most painful thing he'd ever had to endure.
His gaze drifted to the wall separating his room from yours. And his mind, traitorous as always, began to wander. He imagined you on the other side, lying in your bed, the soft curve of your lips, the way your eyes would flutter shut if he kissed you.
His fantasies were vivid, and utterly maddening.
“Fuck,” he muttered, running a hand through his hair. He wanted you so badly it hurt. But more than that, he wanted you to want him.
He felt like he was suffocating.
---
You couldn't take it anymore. It felt way too claustrophobic in your room. You sat up, your heart racing and climbed out of bed and padded to your door.
You needed some air.
---
The sound of your door opening reached him, and his heart leapt into his throat. He scrambled out of bed, throwing on a hoodie as he moved to his own door.
He opened his door and walked straight into you.
“Y/N,” he breathed, after his body clashed with yours, and his voice was so husky and breathless.
“I…” You hesitated, looking equally breathless and surprised. “I couldn’t sleep.”
Felix stepped closer, his gaze searching yours. “Me neither.”
You bit your lip, your chest heaving with the stress of it all.
“Felix, about what you said earlier…” you began.
His throat bobbed as he swallowed, his hands curling into fists at his sides.
“I meant it. Every word.” he whispered.
“I know,” you whispered, your voice trembling. “And I…”
Before you could finish, Felix closed the distance between you, his hands coming up to cradle your face. His touch was gentle, and you both had a moment, staring at each other, absolutely terrified.
You didn't know who moved first, but here you two were, kissing. A kiss so soft at first, then deepening as months of pent-up desire spilled over. His fingers tangled in your hair, pulling you closer as his lips moved against yours with a desperation that reflected your own.
Your back hit the wall and he tilted his head, licking into your mouth, and it was so absolutely hot.
When you finally pulled away from Felix, your lips still tingled from the kiss, and your heart pounded so hard.
Felix’s eyes were wide, his cheeks flushed a deep red. He looked absolutely stunned, his lips parted as if to say something, but no words came out.
Oh no, why wasn't he saying anything?!
“I…” you began, but the words got stuck in your throat.
What could you even say?
“I’m sorry,” Felix whispered, his voice strained. He took a step back, running a hand through his hair, clearly panicking.
“No, no, I’m sorry,” you blurted, hugging your arms around yourself, feeling exposed in the oversized sweater you’d thrown on before bed. It barely skimmed your thighs, and now you were hyper-aware of how Felix’s eyes kept darting to your legs before snapping back up to your face.
Felix’s jaw tightened, and he let out a shaky breath.
“I…I should go.” he murmured and before you could stop him, he turned and sprinted back into his apartment, leaving you standing there.
The moment Felix shut the door to his apartment, he leaned against it.
“Shit,” he whispered, his eyes closed and voice trembling.
He wanted to scream. Or throw himself off a cliff. Because right now, all he could think about was the way you tasted, the way you looked in that damn sweater. The way you looked so… thrown after the kiss.
Groaning, he went to his bedroom and fell onto his bed, burying his face in his pillow. He was turned on beyond belief, but the guilt was just as strong.
That kiss, though perfect, felt impulsive and reckless. And now? He had no idea where you two stood.
---
By the time the sun came up, Felix was in full-on stress-baking mode.
His kitchen was a disaster - half empty bags of flour, bowls and utensils littered every surface, and his oven was working overtime. He’d already made two trays of brownies, cookies, and a batch of cupcakes, and he was still going.
Because every time he paused, every time he let himself think, his mind betrayed him. That damn kiss was playing on repeat in his head.
He threw himself back into baking, hoping it would distract him. But it didn’t work. His fantasies just grew wilder.
“Stop it,” Felix hissed to himself, slamming the oven door shut.
But the damage was done. He was a mess.
---
By the time Jisung woke up (close to noon) and stumbled into the kitchen, Felix was pulling yet another tray of cookies out of the oven.
“What the hell happened here?” Jisung asked, blinking at the mountain of baked goods that had taken over their apartment. “Did you open a bakery while I was asleep?”
Felix shot him a glare and said, “Don’t start.”
Jisung raised his hands in surrender, though he did ask, “Rough night?”
Felix didn’t answer, instead focusing on packing some of the cookies into containers.
Jisung leaned against the counter, smirking. “This is obviously about Y/N.”
Felix froze for a second.
“I knew it,” Jisung said, grinning. “Care to share what happened?”
Felix’s ears turned bright red as he shook his head.
“I’m not talking about it,” he said.
“Okay, fine,” Jisung said, grabbing a cookie. “But, for what it’s worth, you should tell her how you’re feeling. Like, really tell her.”
Felix sighed, his shoulders slumping.
“I already did.” he said sadly.
Jisung blinked in surprise. “And?”
“She didn’t say anything.” Felix’s voice was quiet, almost defeated. “And then…and then…never mind.”
---
The moment you stepped into the hallway after a long day at work, you were hit with the mouthwatering aroma of chocolate and vanilla.
You paused, inhaling deeply. Felix was baking again.
You’d just changed into your pyjamas when there was a knock at your door. Opening it, you weren’t surprised to find Felix standing there, holding four containers of baked goods in his hands.
He looked kind of disheveled and his expression was tight - like he was barely holding it together.
“Felix,” you started, but he thrust the containers into your hands before you could say more.
“What’s all this?” you asked, looking down at the overflowing assortment of brownies, cookies, and cupcakes.
Felix let out a laugh - a sharp and humorless one.
“It’s your fault,” he said and your eyebrows shot up.
“My fault?” you asked.
“Yes,” he said, running a hand through his hair. “Because I can’t stop thinking about how you didn't say a word after I admitted my feelings for you. And then we kiss, and you don't say anything even then.”
Your lips parted, words failing you as he continued.
“It hurts. My heart hurts, and if I sit still I feel like I'm gonna faint. So yeah, I've been baking nonstop for hours now. You can eat them, throw them out, whatever you want. I just…I needed to get them out of my kitchen before I baked myself into oblivion.”
You sighed, setting the containers down on a nearby table. “Felix -”
“No,” he interrupted, shaking his head and taking a step back. “Don’t.”
“What? At least-”
“I have to go, or I'll end up doing something really stupid.”
And before you could stop him, he turned and walked away, leaving you standing there with all his baked treats and a heart that felt like it was breaking.
Tumblr media
Felix was spiraling.
For days, he’d been avoiding you as much as possible. He hated it. He hated having to speed walk past you or ignoring you. He couldn't stop craving you, and all through his heartache, he still missed you.
And he still couldn’t stop himself from baking for you. It was the only way he knew to show how much he cared without risking saying or doing something that might ruin everything further.
The knock on your door came as you were finishing dinner. You opened it to find Felix standing there, looking as nervous as ever, holding a box of brownies.
“Hi,” he said, his voice soft.
“Hi, Felix,” you said, crossing your arms and leaning against the doorframe.
“I made these for you.” he said, holding the box out to you, his hands trembling slightly.
You took the box, your eyes narrowing slightly.
“Thanks, but -” Before you could finish, he turned and started to walk away.
“Felix!” you called after him, but he didn’t stop.
Something inside you snapped. You couldn’t take it anymore.
“Felix!” you yelled again, quickly placing the box on the ground and grabbing the back of his hoodie, tugging him to a stop.
He sighed, his shoulders slumping as he turned halfway to look at you.
“Please don’t do this to me, Y/N,” he said, his voice low. “I’m trying so hard to hold it together.”
“Well, stop,” you said firmly, pulling him back toward your apartment, your grip on his hoodie strong.
“Y/N,” he protested, stumbling slightly as you dragged him inside. “You don’t get it!”
“Shut up, Felix,” you snapped, cutting him off as you slammed the door behind you.
He blinked at you, startled, his mouth opening to say something else, but you didn’t give him the chance.
“I like you, okay?” you yelled, your voice rising. “I like you back, Felix! I’ve been trying to hold it in, trying to be reasonable because this whole thing is complicated and I didn’t want to make it weird, but I can’t take it anymore! You’ve been driving me mad with all your running and your baking and your stupid perfect face, so just - just shut up and kiss me already!”
For a moment, Felix just stared at you, his eyes wide, his lips parted in shock.
“You… what?” he whispered, as if he couldn’t believe his ears.
“I said I like you,” you repeated, your chest heaving. “Now are you going to kiss me or not?”
In an instant, he closed the space between you, his hands cupping your face as he crashed his lips against yours.
The kiss was desperate, frantic even, and you responded with just as much intensity, your hands fisting in the front of his hoodie to pull him closer.
Felix’s lips were soft but insistent, his hands shaking slightly as they slid from your face to your waist, pulling you flush against him.
When you finally pulled away, both of you were gasping for air, trembling and flushed.
“Do you have any idea how long I’ve wanted to do that?” Felix whispered, his voice rough and shaky.
You smiled, brushing a strand of hair out of his face and said, “Probably as long as I have.”
He let out a soft laugh, his eyes shining with something you could only describe as pure joy.
And he kissed you over and over, until the world outside faded away, leaving only the two of you and the undeniable connection you felt with each other.
Tumblr media
Dating Felix felt like stepping into a dream.
From the moment you both decided to give it a go, it was as if everything clicked into place. Now, you were greeted with the soft press of his lips whenever he saw you and even softer smiles that melted your insides.
He was so attentive, and so utterly devoted. And more perfect than you'd ever thought a person could be. He stayed over at yours a lot, and you kept him company whenever you could over at his. And it was absolutely magical.
Oh and he taught you how to bake. Or at least he tried.
---
Felix’s kitchen was a mess as usual, all his baking things spread everywhere. His sleeves were rolled up and his hair pushed back with a bandana.
You were perched on the kitchen counter, dressed in that sweater - the oversized one he loved so much, the one that barely skimmed the tops of your thighs. Your hair was loose, your smile teasing, and you looked like you'd walked straight out of his dream.
Felix swallowed hard, as he tried not to look at you. But when he did, he saw you leaning forward slightly, resting your chin in your hand.
“What’s next, Chef Lee?” you asked, nodding toward the bowl of brownie batter.
Felix cleared his throat, trying to gather himself.
“Uh, okay. So, once we mix the dry ingredients…”
His voice trailed off as you dipped your finger into the batter, scooping up a bit and popping it into your mouth.
The sound you made - a soft hum of approval - almost made him drop the bowl.
“Mmm,” you said, licking your finger clean. “That’s so good.”
Felix’s jaw clenched, his hands gripping the edge of the bowl to keep himself steady.
“Baby,” he said, his voice strained.
“What?” you asked, your eyes wide with mock innocence.
“You’re not… helping,” he managed, his gaze slipping down to your thighs.
You tilted your head, a playful smile tugging at your lips as you said, “I’m not?”
“No,” he said, setting the bowl down and taking a step closer to you.
“What am I doing, then?” you teased, tapping his bottom lip with your finger.
Felix caught your wrist, his grip firm but gentle.
“You’re being a bad girl,” he murmured, his voice rough with desire.
Your breath hitched as he stepped between your legs, his hands sliding over your thighs.
“What do you want, baby?” he asked, his fingers tightening on your skin.
You smirked, leaning in just enough for your lips to brush against his.
“I want you.”
That was all it took.
Felix kissed you like he was starving, his hands running over your thighs as he pressed you closer. He tasted of chocolate and something so uniquely him, and you honestly couldn't get enough.
His lips moved to your neck, his breath hot against your skin. He pushed the fabric off your shoulder, kissing all your exposed skin, groaning as you thread your fingers through his hair and tugged lightly.
He pushed you back against the wall, his hands reaching under your sweater and pulling down your panties quickly. You gasped as he quickly bent down and threw your legs over his shoulders.
Your breath caught as he kissed your inner thighs and went on to give you the most mind blowing orgasm of your life.
The bowl of brownie batter sat forgotten on the counter as he devoured you. Your fingers were in his hair, his bandana long lost and followed by his shirt and a lot more.
Tumblr media
You sat on the counter, grinning smugly, your legs swinging lazily as you watched him, shirtless and glowing, trying to salvage the brownies he had abandoned earlier.
Felix glanced at you, his freckled cheeks still tinged pink, and smirked. He just lived his fantasy. And you were glowing, and it filled his heart to see you like that.
“The brownies, Lixie,” You reminded him as he lost focus, and was lost in thought, his eyes fixed on you.
He was about to reply when the front door opened, and Jisung walked in.
“Felix -” Jisung stopped mid-sentence as he walked into the kitchen, his eyes darting between you, perched on the counter, and Felix, standing there shirtless with a tray of brownies in hand.
There was a long, awkward pause as Jisung's eyes fell on Felix’s shirt lying on the floor. And obviously both of you looked enough ruffled for anyone to catch up.
“Oh my god,” Jisung finally said, his face scrunching up in horror. “Ew! Not in the kitchen!”
You burst into laughter, your hands flying to your mouth, while Felix just shook his head.
“Nothing happened here!” Felix insisted, though the sheepish grin tugging at his lips wasn’t helping his case.
Jisung pointed an accusing finger at his shirt lying on the floor.
“Don’t lie to me! There’s literally evidence of your sins everywhere!” he said.
“Jisung, I swear -”
“Save it!” Jisung cut him off dramatically, turning to leave. “I’m never eating anything that comes out of this kitchen again!”
You couldn’t stop giggling as Felix turned to you.
“Babe,” he muttered, though he couldn't help but smile.
“I’m sorry,” you said, trying to sound sincere but failing miserably.
Felix rolled his eyes, setting the tray down before stepping closer again.
“You’re lucky I love you,” he said, teasingly.
“Lucky, huh?” you said, looping your arms around his neck.
He leaned in, brushing his lips against yours as he said, “Very lucky.”
“I CAN HEAR YOU!” Jisung’s voice rang out from his bedroom.
You both burst out into giggles, and you kissed him again.
“I love you, Lixie.”
“I love you, baby.”

The Gryffindor common room was quieter than usual, the fire crackling softly in the hearth, its light painting warm patterns on the walls. You sat curled in the corner of a worn-out armchair, legs tucked under you, pretending to read the same page of a book you hadn’t been able to focus on for the past fifteen minutes. Your gaze, however, kept drifting to James Potter.
He was sprawled on the couch, explaining Quidditch strategies to Sirius, who nodded along with only half his attention. His glasses sat slightly crooked on his nose, and the way his hands moved when he spoke made your heart stutter every single time.
You didn’t understand why you were like this—why his voice could calm the storms in your head or why his laugh felt like sunlight breaking through clouds. You’d long convinced yourself that James was unattainable, untouchable, and utterly out of your league. A boy like that didn’t look twice at someone like you.
At least, that’s what you told yourself.
Until tonight.
“Hey.” James’s voice jolted you out of your thoughts. He stood over you, his hands tucked into his pockets, a soft smile tugging at his lips. “You okay, angel? You’ve been staring at that book for ages.”
Angel. He always called you that. But tonight, it felt heavier, sweeter—like honey dripping from his tongue.
“Uh—yeah,” you stammered, closing the book a little too quickly. “Just... distracted, I guess.”
James chuckled, his hazel eyes sparkling as he dropped into the seat across from you. “Distracted by what? Or... who?”
Your cheeks burned, and you quickly looked away. “No one.”
“You’re a terrible liar,” he teased, leaning forward with his elbows on his knees. His gaze softened, a rare gentleness settling over him. “Come on, what’s going on in that pretty head of yours?”
Pretty.
The word landed like a spell, and you froze. Pretty. He thought you were pretty?
“Did I say something wrong?” James asked, his brows furrowing when you didn’t respond.
“N-no,” you said, your voice barely a whisper. “It’s just... I’m not—”
“Not what?”
You hesitated, staring at your hands. “I’m not pretty,” you admitted, the words spilling out like a confession. “Not really.”
The room felt suffocating quiet for a moment, and you braced yourself for his reply, for the awkwardness that would follow.
But then James laughed softly—not cruelly, but incredulously, like you’d just told him the most ridiculous joke he’d ever heard. “You’re joking, right?”
You looked up at him, confusion etched across your face.
“Angel, you’re—” He paused, his gaze sweeping over you as if trying to find the right words. “You’re the prettiest girl I’ve ever seen.”
Your breath hitched.
“I mean it,” he continued, his voice earnest now. “You—everything about you—it’s like you walked out of a dream. I don’t know how you don’t see it.”
Your chest tightened, your heart hammering against your ribs. For years, you’d shrugged off compliments, dismissing them as politeness or flattery. But something about the way James said it, the way his voice trembled just slightly, like he couldn’t believe you didn’t already know—it made you feel like maybe, just maybe, he was telling the truth.
“James...” you began, your voice cracking.
“Hey,” he said softly, reaching out to gently tilt your chin up so you’d meet his eyes. “You don’t have to say anything. But I need you to know this—you’re beautiful. Inside and out. And if you can’t believe it yet, that’s okay. I’ll tell you every single day until you do.”
Tears welled up in your eyes, blurring his face. “Why do you care so much?”
“Because I love you,” he said simply, like it was the easiest thing in the world.
And maybe it was.
In that moment, you felt it—the walls you’d built around yourself cracking, the weight of your insecurities lifting just slightly. When he looked at you like that, like you hung the moon and stars, it was hard not to believe him.
When he loved you, you felt like you were floating.
When he called you pretty, you felt like somebody.
And for the first time in forever, you thought—maybe you really were.

The Weight Of Love And Loss - Part Four
Alexia Putellas x Reader - Part One Two Three
The morning of the meeting, your nerves felt like they were eating you alive. Every step toward the café felt heavier than the last, as though the gravity of your decision was pulling you back. For days, you’d debated whether to come at all. You’d imagined every possible outcome: Alexia apologizing, Alexia blaming you, Alexia trying to win you back. But no matter how much you rehearsed your responses, nothing prepared you for the reality of seeing her again.
The café was quiet as you approached. It was early, not many people around. Through the glass, you could see Alexia already sitting at your old table, her back slightly hunched, her hands wrapped tightly around a mug.
For a moment, you stopped in your tracks. Memories of the two of you flooded your mind—happy days spent in this exact spot, laughing, dreaming, planning your future together. The air had always been warm with love back then. But now? Now it felt like that love was gone, leaving only bitterness and heartbreak behind.
You inhaled deeply and pushed open the door.
---
The bell above the door jingled softly, drawing Alexia’s attention. She looked up, her eyes meeting yours instantly, and she stood, as if she wasn’t sure whether to stay seated or greet you. She hesitated before giving a weak smile, one that didn’t quite reach her eyes.
“Hi,” she said quietly. Her voice was small, unsure, and it tugged at your heart in a way you weren’t ready for.
“Hi,” you replied curtly. No warmth, no familiarity. Just the distance you’d carefully built since the day you walked out of her apartment.
“Can I get you something? Coffee? Tea?” she offered, almost nervously.
You shook your head. “No. Let’s just get this over with.”
The words were sharp, but you needed them to be. You needed to protect yourself, to keep the walls you’d built from crumbling the moment she looked at you with those pleading eyes.
Alexia flinched slightly but nodded, sitting back down. You followed, keeping your distance, your arms crossed defensively as you waited for her to start.
---
The silence between you stretched on painfully. Alexia fidgeted with her mug, her eyes darting between you and the table. You resisted the urge to fill the void, to make it easier for her. This was her meeting, her chance to explain. You weren’t going to make it easier for her.
Finally, you sighed, irritation creeping into your voice. “If you’re not going to say anything, I’m leaving. I don’t have time to sit here in silence.”
“No—wait,” she blurted out, her voice breaking slightly. She looked up at you, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. “I’m sorry.”
You raised an eyebrow, waiting for her to continue.
“I don’t even know where to begin,” she admitted, her voice trembling. “But I need to try.”
---
Alexia took a deep breath, her hands clasped tightly together as if trying to hold herself together. “I’m sorry for everything. For the way I treated you. For shutting you out. For not listening. I thought I was doing the right thing, trying to focus on getting better, but...I didn’t realize how much I was hurting you in the process.”
You stayed silent, your expression unreadable.
“When I got injured, I felt like everything I’d worked for my whole life was slipping away,” she continued, her voice cracking. “Football isn’t just a job for me—it’s who I am. And losing that...I didn’t know how to deal with it. I was angry, scared, lost. And instead of letting you help me, I pushed you away. I thought I could handle it on my own. But I couldn’t.”
Her voice broke completely now, tears streaming down her face. “I didn’t mean to hurt you. I swear, I didn’t. But I did, and I hate myself for it. I hate that I made you feel like you didn’t matter, because you do. You always did. You’re...you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me, and I ruined it.”
---
Her words hit you harder than you expected. For months, you’d begged her to open up, to tell you how she felt. And now, here she was, pouring her heart out—but it was too late.
“You’re right,” you said quietly, your voice trembling. “You did ruin it.”
Alexia flinched as if you’d slapped her, but you didn’t stop.
“I tried, Alexia. I tried so hard to be there for you, to support you, to love you. But you didn’t let me. Every time I tried to talk to you, you shut me out. Every time I needed you, you weren’t there. And do you know how that felt? To feel like I was invisible? Like I didn’t matter?”
Tears were streaming down your face now, but you didn’t bother wiping them away. “You broke my heart, Alexia. Piece by piece, over months. And I can’t just forget that.”
---
Alexia sobbed quietly, her shoulders shaking as she tried to compose herself. “I know,” she whispered. “I know I messed up. But...please. Please give me another chance. I’ll do better. I’ll change. Just...don’t give up on us.”
You shook your head, your heart aching at the sight of her so broken. “It’s not that simple, Alexia. You hurt me. And I don’t think I can trust you not to do it again.”
Her face crumpled, and she covered her mouth with her hand to stifle a sob.
“I think we need time,” you continued, your voice shaking. “Time to heal. Separately.”
Alexia’s tears fell freely now, her shoulders shaking as she cried. “I can’t do this without you,” she whispered. “You’re my rock. You always have been.”
You let out a bitter laugh. “Your rock? I felt more like your punching bag these last few months. I took every hit, Alexia. Every argument, every hurtful comment, every time you brushed me off. I took it all. And I broke because of it.”
She sobbed quietly, her hands trembling as she reached for yours. “I’ll fix it. I’ll do whatever it takes. Just...don’t leave me.”
You took her hands in yours, your heart aching at the sight of her so broken. “You need help, Alexia. Real help. Talk to a sports psychologist. Work through everything you’re feeling. Because I can’t be the one to fix this for you. I tried, and it nearly destroyed me.”
Her tears fell harder, but she nodded slowly, her grip on your hands tightening.
After a moment Alexia’s sobs quieted, and she wiped at her face with shaking hands. “So...that’s it?” she asked, her voice barely audible.
“For now,” you said softly. “You need time to heal. And so do I. We can’t do that together.”
She nodded slowly, her tears falling silently now. “Is there still a chance for us? Someday?”
You hesitated, your heart breaking all over again. “I don’t know,” you admitted. “But if it’s meant to be, we’ll find our way back to each other. For now, we have to let go.”
Her face crumpled, but she managed a small, shaky smile. “Okay,” she whispered.
You stood, your heart heavy as you looked at her one last time. “Take care of yourself, Alexia,” you said gently.
“You too,” she replied, her voice trembling.
And with that, you walked away, leaving behind the woman you once thought you’d spend forever with.
As you stepped out into the crisp morning air, a single thought ran through your mind: Maybe someday.
But for now, you needed to heal. Alone.

CHAPTER 5 ───────────────────
As a child, Y/N Yeom had always been compared to a bird, lost in her own world.
Soaring freely, high above, doing as she pleased as her parents’ only child. One of the perks of having no competition with a sibling.
She chased her imagination, colorful dreams unfurling in her mind.
It was something her parents bragged about. How independent she was. How ambitious she was. How proud she would make them.
It was something her parents would come to regret as she entered her teenage years. The extracurricular activities they had piled onto her as a child, aimed at making her well-rounded and talented in many fields, from dancing to piano to art, would soon return to haunt them.
Especially when the Yeom heiress declared she wanted to be an artist.
Her mother had laughed at it.
A sound that still echoed in Y/N’s mind. It had been a laugh muffled by her fingers, her face a alight with amusement as she stared back at her young daughter, clearly finding the idea more humorous than anything else.
“Don’t say such silly things Y/N”
Words that still rang in her memories.
Her carefree world began to shatter.
Then came the hiding.
The pretense of attending tutoring classes designed to prepare her to follow in her father’s footsteps, while she secretly slipped into the art program she had forged her mother’s signature to join, started swiftly.
For the most part, she had gotten away with it. That was, until her art teacher called her parents after she won a competition. One whose name she couldn’t even remember anymore.
Her father was furious when he found out. Perhaps she would have been too if she was in his place. Although, she believed she wouldn’t have allowed her child to hide their passions in the first place.
She wouldn’t have laughed at their dreams.
Y/N started growing bitter. Her carefree world shattered even more.
She had always been sort of an outcast amongst the other children in her social circle, although self-appointed.
They seemed to lack their own dreams, their own passions. Happily following the plans their parents had drawn out for them, while she struggled to even hang up her art pieces with pride.
The first time Y/N had properly seen Hwang Hyunjin was back in school. The academy they attended was full of children of the elite, cliques of those who loved to flaunt their good looks and their parents’ wealth. One of which the second Hwang son was also in, though she never truly cared enough to acquaint with him, let alone keep his name memorized.
If she tried to recall when his name had become a familiar one in her memories, she would probably say that swim championship he had won for their school. A first time win after six years of their academy losing. Only for Hwang Hyunjin to hold the winner title for his entire academic career.
She had always been acutely aware of his existence, hearing his name here and there throughout school, catching glimpses of the supposedly handsome Hwang Hyunjin in the halls, at events her parents dragged her to. Types of events where she would hole away at some random empty room after initial greetings.
The first time Y/N had taken a proper look at him was in one of these events, in her search for an empty room she would spend the evening in before it was time to leave. She had stumbled upon Hyunjin, the handsome second son of the Hwangs.
Handsome he was, his gaze snapped to hers the moment she entered. Their eyes locked for the first time as she stood frozen in the doorway, catching him in a …compromising position.
His lips had been locked with the school president’s. But at the sound of the door, the two broke apart almost instantly. Hyunjin wiped his mouth casually, while the school president, usually prim and proper, sputtered, her eyes darting between his and Y/N’s equally stunned expressions.
   “Ah—Sorry...” Y/N had muttered awkwardly, closing the door behind her as she blinked at the odd combination she had walked in on.
The school president cornered her in halls the following day, pleading eyes already giving way to her request. To not tell anyone she was with Hwang Hyunjin, the apparent “black sheep” of his family, a detail Y/N hadn’t known until that moment, though it wasn’t something she even cared for.
She had her own problems to deal with, and who the school president was or wasn’t making out with, didn’t even register on her radar. She barely even remembered the event, let alone have time to run around and spread gossip.
Still, Y/N promised. And then, just a few weeks later, she found herself witnessing another scene, some other cheerleader pulling the “black sheep” of the Hwang family behind the bleachers.
A sight that would become more familiar than his existence itself.
────────────────────────
The shower water running down her skin should have felt relieving. Should have helped her loosen up, the hot scorching water that always managed to help her relax after a long strenuous day, tingling yet soothing. But as Y/N stood beneath the shower, the one place she usually found peace, her mind refused to settle. Instead, she found herself staring at the water swirling down the drain, her thoughts drifting back to what had happened between her and Hyunjin.
Back to the memory of her trophy husband, kneeling before her, his piercing gaze locked onto hers with a mixture of astonishment and something more. Something darker, more desirous.
And suddenly she was heavily aware of Hyunjin just outside, in the bedroom where he had trudged into after feeling lightheaded.
It seemed he really had exerted too much energy, the alcohol in his system, the confinement between her legs, the exhaustion afterwards. All overtaking him almost instantly. Y/N had even helped him into the bed.
He had muttered things under his breath, a chuckle escaping through his mumbles as he had tried to keep his eyes open. Yet, ultimately he had lost that battle and soon his breathing had grown shallow.
Y/N had stared down at his passed out form, gnawing at her bottom lip as her eyes trailed over him. Ultimately retreating in for a shower to clear her head.
Yet the shower didn’t seem to clear anything at all.
Instead she felt even more conflicted.
The scraps of Hwang Hyunjin she could find in her memories resurfaced as she tried to recall as best as she could. Yet every single one of them seemed to be of him with a pretty girl on his arm.
But now here he was, the pretty man on her arm.
The bathroom door had opened with a soft click, Y/N peeked out to glance back into the bedroom, her trophy husband’s body still tucked under the duvet as she had left him. The bedroom was lit dimly, the bedside lamp casting a soft glow, allowing her to look down at Hyunjin’s serene expression as she approached his passed out form.
Y/N instantly thought back to earlier in the evening. As if her mind hadn’t been replaying every moment of it in a loop ever since. The feeling of his touches, his gaze, his tongue, still burning against her skin, in her memories.
Perhaps that was how his playboy nature worked.
His bold actions, his whiskey-laced breath.
The way his tongue darted out to lick his lips, the sultry tone in his voice.
Which Hyunjin had it been this evening?
The playboy Hyunjin who knew the arts of pleasure?
Or…
She pictured the flush on his cheeks. The heat that radiated from his skin against her.
The desperation in his wide gaze, his slightly shaky fingers tugging at her dress as he asked for permission.
Perhaps it was her husband Hyunjin.
The gallery director clutched at the bathrobe tightly, slowly crouching down to get a closer look at his face.
The ever so pretty Hwang Hyunjin. Her playboy husband, so serene, so angelic even in his sleep.
Her eyes traced his features, resting on his lips. The ones that had her chasing that orgasmic feeling that she hadn’t felt in what seemed like forever.
His lips, that would curve into those smug smiles whenever he taunted her, irking her slightly, amusing her mostly.
His lips, so kissable.
Y/N leaned in, her mouth pressing against his. A soft kiss, a simple peck maybe.
His breath felt hot against hers as he slept, a low sleepy moan escaping his mouth as she pulled away, peering back down to take in his sleeping expression. He shifted slightly, brows narrowing in a frown before relaxing. A sight that made her stifle a smile, fingers pushing away the stray hairs that fell over his face.
The room quieted again after Hyunjin settled once more, his crouching wife observed this side of him.
She had always been the first to fall asleep. Always exhausted, easily slipping into her dreams once her head hit the pillow. Sometimes she would watch Hyunjin from her tucked in spot. The dark-haired man, who seemed to always be doing this or that on the other end of the bedroom.
Sometimes reading on the recliner, sometimes standing out on the balcony. Oftentimes he would shuffle under the sheets once her eyes fluttered close. Her lids, heavy, yet aware of his presence beside her.
Oftentimes she wondered what he would do if she asked him to embrace her.
Engulf her in his warmth to soothe her of her day’s exhaustion, unaware if his arms would even have that effect.
Though, after tonight, maybe her assumptions weren’t too far off.
She often wondered what it would be like to make this man hers.
To allow him into her heart. The shielded, guarded organ that seemed to harden against love.
Or would she simply become his plaything? The one he would turn to whenever he needed to let off steam.
Hyunjin inhaled deeply in the midst of his shallow breaths, a low noise that was just loud enough to draw her attention back to just the two of them in this room. Y/N finally pushed herself back on her feet, glancing down at him once more.
Did she trust him enough?
He hadn’t done anything that would have broken her trust, went against whatever clauses they’d laid out, whatever contracts they’d signed. Yet, there was that nagging voice in the back of her head.
The one that whispered to her.
That he was putting on some act, behaving himself only for a moment before he craved attention. Before he got bored of sitting still.
He’d done it before. Or atleast, from what she had read and heard in the past.
After some new scandal of his, he would disappear. Lie low for a couple of months before he was once again dancing in nightclubs. Even prior to their marriage, he had been engulfed in some incident. Something about a bar fight. The news that she read about after her father had thrown the marriage arrangement at her, left her tasting bitter.
Her husband turned in his sleep, sinking deeper into the mattress, his face turned away from hers.
Y/N reached out. Perhaps to push back some more stray strands of his hair, perhaps to lean down and press another kiss to his lips. But she faltered, the quiet hum on her cell phone vibrating against the dresser echoed in the bedroom, the sound had her already striding over, knowing well that these late night calls from her secretary were always urgent.
Knowing well that she had always been the kind to prioritize her work. Her ambitions.
That she would never be a perfect lover, let alone be a perfect wife.
The gallery director fidgeted with her wedding ring, inhaling deeply as her eyes glanced over the glass doors of the meeting room.
Her secretary had called her late last night, finally arranging a meeting with a potential sponsor for Y Gallery’s upcoming project.
Y/N had rushed out frantically, glancing back at her husband once, before she had to start preparing for this meeting in the early hours of the morning. But now that she was done, and had nothing to do besides wait, her mind trailed back to Hyunjin.
Back to her trophy husband who seemed to be ever so peaceful in his slumber. She wondered if he would remember what he had done last night?
A part of her cursed herself for not ensuring he was sober enough before agreeing to his ministrations. Although he didn’t seem it, the way he had almost collapsed afterwards had her worried slightly.
Her eyes shot to her cellphone, the discarded device that had a cascade of messages and notifications from people she didn’t care enough about to respond right away.
But no message from Hyunjin.
It made sense. It was still early in the morning, and over the months of being married to him, the gallery director had learned that her husband loved to sleep in. Especially on days after he had a few drinks.
She wondered if she should message him. Tell him to take it easy in case he wakes up with an aching head. Tell him to call her so she could ensure he was alright.
Hear his voice.
His groggy sleep-laced voice, memories of it running through her mind. From all the times he had muttered things as he made her coffee on those days he claimed she had roused him awake.
Y/N blinked at his contact. At the words she had typed out, staring at the letters almost as if they were foreign.
They felt foreign.
Types of words she hadn’t sent in what felt like forever.
Words of concern. Of worry.
Messages a wife would send her husband.
The knock on the glass door tore the gallery director out of her trance, her instant social smile spreading over her face as she stood. Arm extending for a shake.
   “Thank you so much for taking the time to meet me today Madam Kim.” Her voice dripped with confidence.
The gallery director’s husband rustled under the sheets, his brows furrowing in a frown, eyes still shut tight but awake nonetheless.
The silence in the room stretched and for a moment he simply just laid there.
But then as the gears in his brain began to work, the memories of the night prior surged down on him, replaying through his mind in a loop.
Hyunjin’s eyes shot open, slowly he propped himself up to glance around the empty room. His body slightly ached for some reason, and his mind was foggy as he scanned his surroundings.
There was no sign of Y/N.
No quiet rustle of sheets, no trace of her presence. No loud clatter of her attempting to be quiet but failing miserably.
The space felt oddly hollow, and an uncomfortable silence settled in as he fully sat up, trying to make sense of everything. Of the time, of the day.
His fingers traced his lips, tugging at his bottom lip as he tried to distinguish whether whatever he was thinking about right now, whatever he had done, had in fact happened or had it all been a dream.
Hyunjin made his way out of bed, figure crossing the rooms to peer out in hopes to find a glimpse of her, or a clue that would soothe the anxiety that had begun to bubble within him.
The living room was silent, a familiar stillness that settled in at this hour. Times when Hyunjin would head to the gym and the entire house was empty. Yet, the silence felt eerie to the man who had just awoken, his hair rustled messily as he glanced around the room.
A loud sigh had escaped his lips. The anxious feelings started to subside as he was almost to that conclusion that it had been all a dream.
Almost.
Hyunjin’s eyes flickered to the counter. His brows relax at the sight of the mug of forgotten tea.
The drink that had long gone cold, still in the spot last left. Right across the front island, where he had tasted his wife.
Not a dream.
Hyunjin gulped, the dry feeling in his throat refusing to subside. And all his anxieties began crashing down.
The second son of the Hwang family had had his fair share of one-night-stands. Sometimes waking up alone, sometimes leaving alone. It had never bothered him enough for his mind to linger on it any longer than he needed to. Forgetting it all almost with the new day.
And although whatever happened between the business-couple wasn’t even close to things Hyunjin had experienced in his one-night-stands, it still pricked at his heart in a way he didn’t think it would.
He knew the kind of person his wife was. Knew her priorities, knew that she would be working at this time, especially on a work day. But he didn’t expect to wake up alone.
Didn’t expect these anxious thoughts to course through him when he was welcomed by silence.
Perhaps that’s what love was.
These foreign emotions that surged through him right now had never been present after his past…overnight escapades. The lingering feelings that never seeped into his thoughts the next morning were heavily weighing down on him now.
He must be overthinking it all, he had to be.
Like a love-sick fool who felt abandoned.
Hyunjin had never thought himself to be the clingy type. In fact, he despised the women who often clung to him, professing their adoration for him. Attraction, love, things that made his brows twitch in irritation.
Yet here he was feeling clingy. Being clingy.
His fingers drummed on the steering wheel of his car as he sat outside his wife’s gallery, gaze wandering over the building. Doubts clouded his mind as he second, third-guessed his actions.
The sudden knock against the glass of his driver’s side window made him jump, head whipping around to pull down the tinted glass.
One of Y/N’s gallery employees looked down at him, eyes full of curiosity.
   “Ah, Mr. Hwang, it’s you.”
Hyunjin forced a smile, attempting to hide the uneasiness that stirred within him. To not appear as suspicious as he thought he looked, sitting out here in the outdoor parking lot wracking his brains.
Nervous, anxious, but painfully missing his wife.
   “...She left so early, so…” His excuse trailed off, trying to settle the nervous twinge in his tone with a clear of his throat.
The young woman smiled with her nod as she straightened, glancing back at the glass building of the gallery.
   “Director Yeom had an early meeting that ended not too long ago. But now, she’s holed up working. I’m slightly worried...” The employee sighed, her brows furrowing with slight concern.
Words that are just enough to push away all of Hyunjin’s second-guessing.
The trophy husband was already stepping out of his vehicle.
   “Let’s get her to take a break then.” He mumbled with a gentle smile, nodding at her before he was already striding ahead.
The gallery director herself had indeed been holed away since the early morning. Reworking a proposal that she suddenly needed to do after her meeting. As a gallery owner, the majority of her work was centered around securing investment and funding to keep it running. From managing visitors, renting out parts of the pretty space for events and shoots, to attracting rich patrons and people who had enough money to spend on her, her hands were always full.
But she wanted to do something different this time around. A gala, where proceeds would go towards sponsoring aspiring artists. The rich would get a chance to flaunt their wealth, and the starving artists would get a chance to showcase their talent through her gallery.
Y/N would like to think the meeting went well.
Most of the people who were attracted to her gallery outside of everyday visitors, were the wives of the wealthy businessmen in their circle, familiar faces that Y/N had grown up around. They loved to show off their wealth. Purchasing pieces and hosting events at her gallery had become a popular trend of some sorts in the recent years. Maybe it was to do with the fact that Y/N was going against her family and doing something she was passionate about. The high society women lingered about to either scope out the gossip that surrounded that or maybe they were truly infatuated with the wonderful artwork she had collected and exhibited in her gallery.
Madam Kim was one such prominent woman in their high society. The madame of one of the country’s leading law firms, her late husband is still a respected figure even now, years after his demise.
The gallery director had initially wanted to propose a potential partnership with Madam Kim’s daughter-in-law, a woman who was an appreciator of art, and a regular patron of Y Gallery. But when the director had reached out, she had gotten a response from the matriarch of the family instead.
Y/N wasn’t complaining. Madam Kim was one of the more tolerable individuals of the elite class, humble in her ways, yet still had an immense influence on the other women and wives of her social circles. Maybe she had gotten lucky.
Or maybe not. The extra work that Madam Kim had requested was starting to take a toll on the gallery director whose eyes were starting to sting. Tell-tale signs of an oncoming migraine already throbbed at her temples.
The knock on her door faltered her machine-like fingers typing away with a frenzy, her eyes shooting over her glasses to take a glance at the incoming visitor.
She expected to see her secretary, perhaps with the drafted email the gallery director had been awaiting. But instead, the long dark locks of her husband’s appeared in her line of sight, and she stiffened at the sight of his figure entering her office.
For a brief second, the two of them stare at each other, simply just taking in each other’s presence, eyes floundering over one anothers face after not having seen it in what almost felt like years. Hyunjin’s eyes flicked to her desk, at the bottle of pain pills that rested by her glass of water, a sight that made his brows furrowed with a frown.
   “Have you slept?” He questioned with a sigh, the concern on his expression deepening.
Her eyes followed his to the same pills. She had taken two in attempts to soothe that headache that pounded at her temples, but of course it hadn’t worked. Instead she decided she would push through this workload before taking a power nap.
   “Not yet.” Her response wasn’t surprising, making her husband groan slightly, his arms crossing over his chest.
   “Have you eaten?” He continued, already understanding what her response was from the silent stare she shot him.
Y/N wanted to break into a laugh, to point out the creases that settled between his brows as he looked at her with an upset frown, clearly displeased by her answers.
She wanted to break into a laugh because he was one more question away from becoming a nagging spouse.
Instead she stifled the urge, sighing as her eyes darted to the bright screen that burned her eyes, before they settled back on his form just a few feet away.
   “I’ll eat soon. I promise.” She muttered.
   “Ten minutes.” His words followed immediately after her apparent hollow promise, making her tilt her head in slight confusion.
   “You have ten minutes before I force you to eat.” He added, his brows narrowing.
His words caught her off guard, a tone of his that she had never heard before. An expression that looked foreign too, as he stared with her pointedly. Yet she didn’t hate the sight of it. Rather, it sparked something else in her. That familiar challenged sensation erupted within her. Mixed with something else. Something she couldn’t really describe without thinking about him on his knees again.
   “Force me to eat?” Y/N repeated, raising an eyebrow.
She leaned back into the cushion of her chair, her fingers lacing together in front of her. The gallery director watched her husband uncross his arms from over his chest, sliding them into the pockets of his slacks before a teasing smile tugged on his lips.
   “Spoon-feed you if I have to. Airplane and all.” His words were laced with a mischievous edge, watching as she squinted for a second, before finally breaking into that laugh she tried her best to stifle.
The contagious sound made her trophy husband mirror, his eyes creasing as his chuckles followed.
His anxieties faded almost instantly at the sound. At the sight of her.
   “Give me ten minutes. I’ll bring you something to eat.”
Y/N opened her mouth to protest. Maybe to refuse or maybe to lie about not being hungry. But Hyunjin doesn’t allow her to, pointing a finger at her with a commanding tone.
   “Ten minutes. Sit tight.” He shot, already heading out the door.
Ten minutes. She pressed her lips into a soft smile, staring at the empty spot her husband had been standing in.
True to his words, ten minutes later the gallery director’s husband returned. Nodding at her secretary who sat outside her office, his grin radiated almost as he carried whatever nutritious breakfast he could scour for his wife, though it was long past breakfast time.
But when he entered the room, he was greeted by silence.
He had expected to hear more rushed typing, the sound of her fingers working against the keyboard was a sound so familiar to him, he was slightly stunned by the quiet.
His gaze shifted to settle on the gallery director. The sight of her slumped figure, passed out on her arms over the desk, both fascinated and awed him all at once.
She lasted ten minutes, barely. Unable to keep her eyes open. He was slightly impressed when he had entered earlier, it was clear she was exhausted, yet would have pushed herself further if he hadn’t distracted her.
Hyunjin sighed, gently placing down the bag of takeout on the coffee table before walking towards her. His eyes skimmed over her desk, at the cluttered surface that resembled her make-shift workstation that was their living room table.
He picked up the crumpled balls of paper, pushing it aside before he pulled out the chair on his side softly, taking a seat across. He leaned against the leather, getting comfortable as he simply gazed down at the exhausted woman who would have sworn she wasn’t sleepy, wasn’t exhausted if asked. But here she was now, softly inhaling and exhaling.
His eyes drifted to her laptop, the screen still glowing brightly, clear that she had fallen asleep not too long ago.
Gently, Hyunjin reached out, fingers pushing back a stray lock of her hair, a fond smile tugging on his lips as he watched her breathe softly. His gaze shifted to the notepad beside her, amidst the crumpled papers and stacked sheets of ink.
The open notepad was covered with a jumble of words, arrows, and little annotations in her meticulous handwriting. Despite the confusion of the notes, a few familiar words caught his attention, prompting him to slide the laptop in front of himself. With a nod to himself, he leaned forward and began typing. His eyes flit over the screen once to linger on her form.
   “The things I do for you.” He muttered under his breath, patting her hair softly before diving into the task at hand.
The sound of the press of keys had been a distant sound, yet as she stirred away, it had grown louder.
The gallery director’s lids fluttered open, staring at a sight that should have been strange, yet it didn’t feel so. Maybe she was still dazed from her impromptu nap, refreshed eyes still adjusting as she took in the sight of her husband absorbed between the laptop screen and her notepad, his fingers meticulously working against the keyboard.
It should have been a strange sight. Seeing Hwang Hyunjin working. On something that he claimed not to know about, claimed not to care about. But it wasn’t strange at all.
Instead, her heart clenched, the shielded, guarded organ of hers, suddenly racing in her chest. And all she wanted to do now was reach over and kiss him.
A incoming notification on her laptop broke the comfortable silence that had settled in her office. An email from her secretary sitting outside, the notification of the email draft Y/N had requested popped up on the screen. It instantly drew Hyunjin’s attention, his eyes scanning the subject-line almost instinctively.
   “Artist Armin…” He muttered, reading to himself.
Y/N’s brows narrowed, a wave of bitterness spreading over her tongue as she slowly sat up. Movements that have Hyunjin look up to her. His gaze softening at the sight of her awoken state.
   “Is it written ‘A-R-Min’ or ‘R-Dot-Min.” She asked, her tone slightly groggy.
Hyunjin glanced back at the screen, at the notification that lingered on the corner.
   “A-R-Min.” He replied, looking at her with slight wonder.
Y/N inhaled deeply, before letting out a slight groan.
   “It’s supposed to be R-Dot-Min.” She grunted almost, reaching over for the laptop so she could send the corrections to her secretary.
   “I’ll do it. You eat.” Hyujin pressed instead, pulling the device closer to him.
An action that made her arch and eyebrow.
   “Really? You want to be my personal secretary now?” A smile had spread on her lips.
Hyunjin shrugged, his smug smile returning on his face.
   “What does the compensation package look like?” He chuckled, already ready to type the email to her secretary.
Y/N stood, stretching before she headed towards the bag of food, slightly hungrier than she was before her nap.
   “Anything you want.” Her words are more casual, distracted fingers pulling out her breakfast and lunch.
Her words make Hyunjin pause, fingers hovering over the keys.
For a moment, he wondered if asking for a kiss right now, maybe even daringly asking if he could lift her onto her desk, would be enough compensation. But he caught himself almost instantly, clearing his throat before grabbing the laptop to join her by the couch.
   “R-Dot-Min, right?” He confirmed once again.
Y/N’s hands stilled against the container of food, tasting bitterness all over again.
   “Yes.” She almost spat.
Her gaze drifted off, her thoughts suddenly elsewhere as she ate.
Hyunjin watched her movements, the way her fork disappeared into her mouth, the way her lips wrapped around the bottle of water. It made his own throat dry, his thoughts swirling, and he had to bite back the urge to say something. He didn’t want to sound like some pervert who couldn’t think of anything beyond wanting her all to himself, but suddenly, he couldn’t help it. Those thoughts lingered, darting through his thoughts.
He dropped his gaze, staring at the shiny surface of the glass table between them. He had to remind himself to control himself. To stop thinking like some fuckboy after her body. The trophy husband gnawed at his lower lip, trying to steady himself, his mind.
The gallery director watched as she dropped the empty container of her now-devoured food, wiping her lips. Her eyes lingered on Hyunjin, sitting across from her, his teeth tugging at his bottom lip, before he glanced back at her.
   “Who’s R.Min anyways?” Hyunjin cleared his throat, sending the email corrections to her secretary.
Y/N fell silent at the mention of the artist, the one Madam Kim wanted to collaborate with simply because her grandson had liked his work.
What do lawyers know about art, anyway?
She had groaned to herself during the meeting, though outwardly she had smiled, offering her radiant social grin and empty compliments, promising to follow through and try her best for a collaboration.
   “He’s a painter.” She answered curtly, rising to her feet.
Silence settled between them once more as Hyunjin set the laptop aside. The sound of another email pinged, cutting through the quiet, and both of them glanced at the screen.
   “Your secretary sent the email to R.Min.” He read aloud, eyes drifting over her.
A flicker of irritation drew over her expression, arms crossing as she muttered something under her breath. Likely a curse, though Hyunjin couldn’t quite catch it.
   “Enough about that artist—Do you remember what you did last night?” Her voice was sharp.
Her blunt question made him stiffen, his eyes widening slightly as he watched her from his seated position, suddenly wanting to melt into the leather. He swallowed a few times, unsure of what kind of answer would ease the irritation still lingering on her face. The scowl shot towards him, ones he thought he would have gotten rid of after he had pleasured her last night.
   “I do…” He finally sighed, his gleaming gaze flickering from his fingers to her face.
   “Why are you nervous? Do you regret it?” She asked.
Another question that made his eyes widen, this time more from the fear of her misunderstanding than anything else.
   “No!” He almost exclaimed, licking his lips to calm himself down.
She blinked, slightly taken aback by his loud response. The pressing expression, the piercing gaze that he stared up at her with.
Her eyes traced over his rigid form that looked up at her.
Nervous. Passionate perhaps.
Kissable.
The gallery director only needed two long strides.
Three steps and she was towering over him, her figure already leaning into him. Hyunjin reflexively drew himself back as she inched closer, until he was pressing flush against the leather of the sofa, trapped almost. He inhaled sharply, stunned eyes darting between hers to grasp exactly what was happening, why she was suddenly so close.
Could she hear his heart about to explode in his chest?
Y/N can’t help but stare in fascination. This up-close view of her pretty husband was even more breathtaking than last night, his open eyes boring into hers. She could see the nervous twinge in his gaze, something she hadn’t truly expected from the ever-so-cocky Hwang Hyunjin. Yet, seeing it now, she couldn’t help but smile at how cute he looked beneath her.
Her fingers ghost over his lips. The ones she had gotten a feel of after stealing a kiss in his sleep. Although she would never, ever admit she had done so. He shuddered almost, even without her touching him yet.
   “I-is this a dream?” He found himself muttering instead.
Her brow arched at his words.
   “You dream of me?” She countered, her tone laced with a teasing edge, a hint of amusement.
Hyunjin swallowed hard.
   “No.”
He was trying his best. To cling onto that fragile thread of sanity left in him. To not appear desperate, craving her touch, her lips. Ready to melt underneath her.
Y/N let out a breathy laugh, her gaze dropping to his lips for a split second before locking with his eyes again. Clearly unconvinced.
   “I don’t kiss liars.” She murmured smugly.
Hyunjin swallowed hard. The thread snapped.
His hands shot out, slipping behind her hair to rest again the nape of her neck, tugging her toward him.
His lips crash against hers. Desperate, frantic.
All control shattered, his sanity slipping away as he pulled her closer.
Closer.
Into himself, wrapping his arms around her, settling her over him, onto his lap.
Melting underneath her. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ to be continued.

★ LET ME BE YOUR VOID
All your life, you've been the "good girl," playing it safe. Vi is the opposite—rebellious and unpredictable. After a chance meeting at a club you were invited to by friends who felt you hadn't forgotten your cheating ex yet, your worlds collide in a way neither of you expected, leading to a "lesbian incident thing" as your friends called it. Well, you've heard that good girls gone bad... [recent work]
tw: cheating (not from the vi's side, reader was cheated on by her ex gf); english isn't my first language
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is the second part of a series of fanfics based on songs from Sky Ferreira's album "Night Time, My Time". Each can be read as a one-shot unless otherwise noted.
You weren’t supposed to be here—not in this club, not surrounded by deafening music and flashing lights, and definitely not nursing a drink your friend insisted on handing you. But here you were, trying your best to act like you weren’t completely out of place.
Your friends had been relentless. They claimed this was what you needed after your ex-girlfriend had shattered your carefully constructed world a few months ago. "You’re too young to waste time on someone who didn’t deserve you," they’d said. And maybe they were right, but a part of you still felt like it wasn’t your scene, wasn’t your speed.
So, it was supposed to be just another night out with your best friend, the kind where you’d forget about work, unwind with a drink, and laugh about things that didn’t matter. You had no intention of getting involved in anything more. The club was packed, the lights dimmed, the bass pulsing through the floor, making everything feel more alive than it should have. You knew the people who invited you, but you didn’t really want to be there. You were more comfortable in your quiet, organized world. Yet, there you were—pushed out of your comfort zone by the gentle yet insistent coaxing of your friends.
That’s when you saw her.
Vi stood by the bar like she owned the place, casually leaning back with a drink in her hand and that signature smirk that screamed confidence. Her short, messy pink hair caught the strobe lights, making her look like something out of a dream—or maybe a warning.
She wasn’t the kind of person who blended in. Vi had an undeniable presence, the sort that made people instinctively look twice, even if they didn’t want to admit it. The kind of woman who always lived in the moment, unafraid of what came next, someone you might be drawn to and terrified of at the same time. She was standing across the room with some friends when your eyes accidentally met, and it was like everything around you faded for a split second. There was something about her that made your breath hitch, but you quickly turned away, reminding yourself that this was just another club night, nothing more.
You caught her gaze for just a moment, and it sent a shiver down your spine. Her smirk deepened as she tipped her glass toward you in silent acknowledgment. You quickly looked away, feeling heat rise to your cheeks.
Your friend noticed. “That girl’s been looking at you,” one of them teased.
“She’s not,” you mumbled, sipping your drink and trying to appear calm.
“She definitely is. And she’s hot.”
“She’s trouble,” you said without thinking, earning an amused laugh from your friend.
Trouble wasn’t something you ever sought out. You’d always been the "good girl," the one who followed the rules, stayed out of trouble, and avoided unnecessary risks. Your life was organized, predictable—safe. But something about Vi made your carefully crafted walls feel unsteady.
Hours later, you were leaning against a wall, waiting for your friend to drag you home (you weren't sure when it would happen - it seems she was talking to some guy) when Vi appeared at your side like she’d always belonged there. “Not your scene?” she asked, her voice low and slightly rough, but somehow warm. “And not from around here too, are you?” she added, her voice low and smooth, like honey, a little teasing but also somehow warm.
You turned to her, startled. Up close, she was even more captivating than you’d realized. There was something wild in her eyes, but also something deeply curious. “How could you tell?”
“You’ve looked ready to bolt since you got here.” Vi grinned, taking a sip from her drink. “And also, if you were a regular,” she continued, her eyes locking with yours in a way that made your heart race, “I'd probably have to steal you away from everyone else.”
“Maybe I’m just waiting for someone,” you replied, attempting to sound composed.
“Oh yeah? Someone like me?” she teased, her grin turning into a smirk that made your stomach flip.
You rolled your eyes, though your pulse quickened. “I don’t think so.”
“Good,” she said, leaning closer. “I’m not the waiting type.”
It started innocently enough, just talking, chatting about life, music, mutual friends. But before long, you were both standing by the dance floor, the music drowning out your words. She was closer than you'd expected, too close for comfort, her breath warm against your ear as she leaned in to shout something over the music. You could feel the tension between you two growing, a sharp, undeniable attraction that neither of you seemed willing to ignore. But you stopped yourself from rash actions — it's too early.
Tumblr media
Vi was different from anyone you’d ever met before. You were usually the responsible one, the one who kept things in line, avoided risky behavior, stayed on the safe side of the line. And yet, here you were, your pulse quickening every time she looked at you, making you feel a pull that was unlike anything you'd ever known. She was everything you weren’t—bold, reckless, unafraid to challenge the world. You couldn’t understand why she was interested in you, someone so different from her usual type. But as the nights turned into days, you started seeing each other more often (like good acquaintances, almost friends) and the encounters grew more frequent, you started to feel like maybe she saw something in you that you hadn’t seen in yourself.
“You’re too serious,” she’d say, nudging your shoulder. “Life’s too short to be afraid of it.”
And maybe she was right.
But it wasn’t all easy.
You couldn’t ignore the voice in the back of your mind, the one that whispered doubts and insecurities. Vi wasn’t like anyone you’d ever been close to, and you weren’t sure if you were what she needed—or if this was all just a phase for her.
One night, after a particularly long day, you found yourself sitting across from her in a quiet corner of a bar. She was laughing, telling you some wild story about a bar fight she’d once been in, when you blurted out the question that had been haunting you.
“Why me?”
Vi blinked, her laughter fading as she studied you. “What do you mean?”
“You could have anyone. Someone cooler, more... I don’t know, exciting.”
She leaned forward, her expression softening. “You think I care about that stuff? You’re... different.”
“That’s not an answer,” you said quietly, looking down at your drink. “I shouldn't ask it. Sorry, it was pathetic.”
“You're not.” Vi reached across the table, gently tilting your chin up so you’d meet her gaze. “You make me want to be better,” she said simply. “That’s not something I take lightly.”
From that moment on, things felt different. ”Let's dance,“ she said and you surprisingly agreed.
You were caught up in the rhythm of the music, your movements fluid, free, and then, just like that, Vi was beside you, her presence magnetic, pulling you even closer. Her lips were teasing the edges of your earlobe as she leaned in, shouting something into your ear you couldn’t hear. The space between you two had grown smaller, closer, until it felt like there was no space at all.
It wasn’t planned—it just happened. The kiss was messy, hot, and full of need, nothing like you’d ever experienced before. You had been sober—maybe a little tipsy from the drinks, but nothing that would explain this sudden decision. It was wild and unexpected, and you couldn’t even tell if it was a mistake or something else. All you knew was that in that moment, it felt real.
It was awkward. But it felt like everything—chaos, excitement, vulnerability, all rolled into one. And then, just as quickly, you pulled away.
Vi pulled away first, her lips grazing yours just slightly as she smirked. “Didn’t expect that from you.”
“Shit,” you muttered under your breath, the sudden rush of shame washing over you like a cold wave. What had you done?
You were still processing what had just happened. You weren’t the type to do something so spontaneous, let alone kiss someone so... bold. You took a step back, your heart racing. You were aware of the looks people were giving, but the only thing that mattered was her—her eyes, her lips, the way she made you feel like you could fall into something deeper than you’d ever imagined.
“I—I don’t usually do this,” you stammered, barely able to catch your breath.
Vi raised an eyebrow, the corner of her lips quirking up. “You’re not a regular girl. I can tell.” Her voice was laced with something teasing, but there was something else in it, something softer you hadn’t noticed before.
”I need to go,“ you awkwardly said. ”Remembered something.”
The rest of the night was a blur. You left the club without a second glance, slipping into the night, your heart pounding as you tried to convince yourself it wasn’t a big deal. You didn’t need to explain it to anyone, certainly not Vi. But then why did it feel like you were running from something much bigger?
Tumblr media
The next few days were spent in silence. You ignored Vi’s texts, her calls, anything that might bring you back into her orbit. You couldn’t bring yourself to face Vi, couldn’t stand the thought of what you’d done. She was wild, spontaneous, everything you were not, and you couldn’t help but wonder if you were just a fleeting interest to her. Your friends had all seen what had happened, and now they rolled their eyes, joking about it like it was just another “typical lesbian incident,” a moment of confusion, a kiss, followed by an awkward disappearance. They didn’t understand.
But Vi did.
One evening, she showed up at your door. You opened it hesitantly, already knowing what was coming. Vi stood there, looking just as unbothered as she always did, her arms crossed.
“You running away now, too?” she asked with a small, knowing smile.
You stepped aside, letting her in, but your nerves were a mess. The weight of the kiss was still there, lingering like a silent elephant in the room.
“I don’t get it,” you said before you could stop yourself, your voice tight. “I—I don’t know what I was doing, Vi. I just... I’m not like you. I’m not supposed to be someone who does... that.”
Vi raised an eyebrow, her usual smirk softening. “Do what? Live a little? Look, you don’t have to apologize for kissing me. You don’t have to apologize for anything.”
“But I don’t even know what this is,” you confessed, your eyes tracing the floor. “I’ve never been... like this. I’ve always been cautious. I’ve always... followed the rules. And now I’ve gone and done something reckless.” You looked down, feeling small. “It’s just... you’re so used to being spontaneous, to going for what you want, and I... I’m not that. I’m careful. I don’t do things on impulse.”
Vi walked over to you, her gaze serious now. “What’s wrong with that?” she asked gently. “It’s not about being like me. It’s about figuring out what you want, and trusting that you deserve it. I don’t want you to be someone else. I want you to be you.”
You let out a long, shaky breath. You were still reeling, unsure of what you wanted or where this connection between the two of you could go. “I just... I had an ex, and she messed me up. I wasn’t ready for anything new, and I still don’t know if I am.”
Vi’s expression softened further. “You don’t have to be ready right now. I’m not asking for anything. I’m not asking you to be someone you’re not, and I’m not going anywhere. But don’t run away from me. Don’t run away from this.” She smiled softly.
You looked into her eyes, seeing something real, something vulnerable in them. Maybe it was the calm in her voice, or maybe it was just the way she always knew how to make you feel seen, even when you couldn’t see yourself. But for the first time in a long time, you felt like you weren’t alone in the confusion.
“I don’t want to run away from you,” you admitted quietly. “I just... I don’t know what to do with this. With us.”
Vi took a step closer, her hand brushing lightly against yours, sending a spark up your arm. “Then let’s figure it out together.”
And for the first time in what felt like forever, you let yourself believe that maybe, just maybe, things didn’t need to be perfect or understood right away. Maybe it was enough to just be in the moment with someone who made you feel like you mattered.
“I don’t know what I’m doing either,” she added with a grin. “But I’m willing to figure it out with you.”
The awkwardness was still there, but something had shifted. Something had clicked, and it felt like you weren’t running anymore. You were stepping forward into something you couldn’t yet define, but it was real, and it was yours.
And for once, that felt enough.
“Would you want to go on a date with me?” Vi asked, her voice steady.
A warm smile tugged at your lips, and you nodded. “Yeah, I think I’d like that.”

Him and I- Diamond Rings

Pairing: Mob Nico Hischier x reader
Warnings: some cursing, crying, nothing much
A/n: bit of a fluffer chapter after sad Nico and reader last chapter. Hope you all like it! I’ll be back soon with a Christmas blurb for y’all :))
Previous chapter
____________________________________________
Nico can’t sleep.
You can hear him pacing the room, the light taps of his feet on the hardwood floor as he attempts to quietly distract himself.
He’s always praised you for your ability to be light on your toes, amazed at how you move around on jobs with the boys without making a sound. It’s why he’s always called you sneaky. And it’s a skill he himself has never been able to fully accomplish.
Even now, with fuzzy socks up to his ankles and an awkward gait that he gets from trying to balance on the balls of his feet, you can hear him.
Careful to not move too much, you blink away sleep and watch him. He doesn’t walk too far, going from one end of the bed to the next. Sometimes he’ll look out the window, but most of the time he’s just nibbling on the side of his thumb, one arm crossed over his bare chest.
Something in your chest aches, throbbing painfully in the space that your heart normally resides. Except it doesn’t feel like your heart is there anymore. Only the echoing beats of it, painful thrums in the empty captivity that gapes there.
Maybe you messed up, talking to Rino like that. You wanted to protect Nico, to keep his father from hurting him again but it feels like you’ve just hurt him in place of his father. Nico didn’t get to confront him, didn’t get to ask him what this has all been for. But worst of all, you didn’t even give him a chance at closure.
Softly kicking the blankets back, the rustle of the sheets makes Nico look over. He drops his thumb from his mouth, fiddling with the raw skin instead.
“I didn’t mean to wake you.” He apologizes, reaching out for you once you’ve gotten close enough. His hand is cold, even through the shirt you’ve got on and you’re glad you fell asleep with your socks on earlier. You hate the feeling of cold floors.
“You didn’t,” you say, taking a hold of the hand he’s picking at “maybe I just missed you.” You press a kiss to the pad of his thumb, wrapping the digit protectively in your first.
“M’right here,” he eyes your mouth, your tongue instinctively prodding at the scabbed wound under his attention. It stings, not enough to make you outwardly wince but Nico notices anyway. “Should have let me ice that before bed.”
“It’s ok,” you dodge, “just a scratch I swear.” Nico raises his eyebrows, humming like he doesn’t believe you but he’ll let it go, for now.
“Did you have a bad dream?” He cradles your face, eyes examining you like he’s expecting to see physical evidence of a pained sleep.
“No,” you assure, laying your hand over his heart, feeling the steady thump-thump under his skin. Nico wraps you up in his arms, pining you to his chest when you shiver.
Arms squished between your bodies, you happily snuggle into his hold. “Let’s get you back into bed baby,” he murmurs, lips on your temple. Taking him by the hand, you guide him back to the bed, kneeing your way onto the mattress. His body is warm against your back as he follows, collapsing into the pillows.
Mimicking him, you pull the blankets over the both of you. It’s cute, the way his cheek squishes into the pillow, eyes bright even in the dim room. Nico looks younger like this, when it’s just the two of you in the quiet night. No families to sabotage, no Devs boys to watch over. No expectations.
Just you and him.
That spot in your chest throbs again, the emptiness rattling your bones and you squeeze the blankets in your hand, pulling them tighter over you and him. Like that’ll keep everything out.
“Did it feel like this?” You ask, unable to keep the sadness out of your voice. Nico frowns, questioningly. “When it was me up at night, pacing and-and…”
“Scared?”
You nod, the pillowcase rustling in your ear. Nico blinks, gaze morphing from looking at you to looking through you. It’s visible in his eyes that he’s reliving the months after you were taken by Philly, before Johnny and Alex were there to distract you, to help you. How everyday it felt like you were fighting just to breathe. And Nico, he was fighting for everything on behalf of you.
You wonder what moments he sees when he thinks about it, which ones were the worst for him.
“Empty,” he finally croaks, searching your face. “I felt so empty. I wanted to give you everything, I wanted to fix everything and it was hard because I felt like I didn’t have anything to give.”
A lump swells in your throat, pressing tightly into your windpipe and it’s suddenly so stuffy and warm in the room. But the covers feel nice, safe, so you stay buried in them.
“You did do everything,” you tell him “even when it felt like that, just having you with me made it so much better.”
The eyebrow not pressed to the pillow quirks, as if trying to say ‘look at us now, you’re doing the same thing baby’.
“M’not scared,” he murmurs, quiet but not unsure. “About what happened, about my family. Not sad either- I mean of course I’m sad it got you hurt but I’m not sad about…”
“Rino,” you fill in, “you’re not sad that he’s gone.”
Nico’s jaw ticks, the muscles of it flexing as he chews at the inside of his cheek. Unlike his thumb, there no way for you to shield that sensitive piece of skin from his teeth. That doesn’t stop you from frowning though, eyeing the dent in his cheek.
“He never liked me anyway,” Nico finally responds, a yawn stretching his mouth. “I was always just…business. Never a kid to him, never a son, never a man. Never enough, I guess.
“So I didn’t really lose anything. Not in him anyway.”
The rest of the thought goes unspoken, but it’s clear you both know what he’s been contemplating over. Was his mom involved? Did Luca have any idea that Rino was still commanding some of the men here? What about Nina? Was they all in on this gimmick to get Nico back to Switzerland?
You wouldn’t really blame them, if they were. Not that you’re condoning what they did but you know how people feel about Nico. He’s such a strong person, a strong leader, and it almost feels necessary to always have him around. You wouldn’t fault anyone for wanting to have him around, even if you were the collateral damage.
Not that they deserve him. They don’t love Nico the way you do, they don’t see how relaxed and sure of himself he becomes with you, with the Devs. He’s yours to keep and love forever, and as they’ve all seen, you’ll go to hell and back for him.
“How did you deal with it?” You ask, steering away from his family. “That empty feeling?”
All you want to do right now is bundle him up in your arms, tuck him into that hollow part of your chest where no one can ever hurt him again. But that’s impossible, you can’t protect him from everything.
A tiny smile curls at his lips, almost bashful and he’s gesturing over your head. “Hand me my phone.” You shuffle under the covers, stretching across the king sized bed to get his phone off the nightstand.
Nico unlocks it, the screen lighting up his face and he moves onto his back, sitting up on his pillows. You follow, fitting yourself into his side with your head on his shoulder. The hand that finds your hip is warm and safe, almost guarding as it holds you.
Turning his phone to you, he encouraged, Go ahead, take it.”
So you do, blinking away the spots in your vision until the light adjusts and you can see the notes app open on his phone. It doesn’t have a title, but it’s a numbered list.
Sleeping with the tv on
Don’t let her go to the bathroom by herself
Likes when I touch her neck but only softly
Mario voice “it’s a me!”
Talking about her favorite books
Hold her hand when she calls Marino
Car rides with hot coco
Hot coco in general
“Nico what is this?”
He taps at the screen, scrolling all the way to the bottom where the last entry reads Taking care of Alex.
“It’s a list of everything that made you smile or laugh, even for a just a second, for those months after Philly.”
When you think about it, a lot of these moments are things you did with him when you were struggling. Nico stopped setting the sleep timer on the tv and would instead leave it on the channel that plays sitcoms all night. In case you woke up and couldn’t go back to sleep. And he would play guard at the bathroom door for you, even at restaurants and grocery stores when you afraid of being left alone. He’d get you a hot drink and the two of you would drive around Jersey and New York for hours, tolls and traffic be damned. Always holding your hand, touching the back of your neck when he could tell you were nervous. And Alex coming to Jersey had been the final thing to pull you out of the hole. You had a young boy that needed help and a family, and you loved him from the moment he stepped off the plane.
You could give him a family. You were happy to even just try.
“There wasn’t much I could do to make you entirely better,” he whispers, pride in his tone “but I could do all of this to make it a little easier.”
A wet giggle escapes you, tears welling in your eyes. You were so miserable then, so numb to everything but him. Nothing mattered to you, but you remember thinking everyday that eventually he wouldn’t want to do this anymore. He’d get tired of fighting to get you out of bed everyday, he’d get tired of sitting with you and counting to a minute while you brushed your teeth, of laying extra towels on the bathroom floor when you showered because you were scared to close the curtain but water would run everywhere.
Yet this whole time, he wasn’t. He spent months watching over you like a hawk, making lists of how he could get you to smile, and even now he sounds happy telling you about it. Like the memories of all this work is a fond thought to him.
“I love your Mario voice,” you giggle, locking his phone. If you read any more of his little notes you’re gonna start crying, for real. “And when I’d play Mario kart as Yoshi and you’d do his little noise.”
Nico moves his phone to the nightstand, grabbing your thigh and hauling you into his lap. He’s smiling when you look at him, cheeks visibly rosy even in the dark. “Yoshi noise,” he reminisces, “was number 15. I’d practice it all the time so that when I did it, it was perfect.”
You try to picture him in the shower, making food, cleaning the apartment, all those moments when you were sleeping or reading and he had time to himself, muttering the little frog noise under his breath, eyebrows pinched together in concentration.
“You’re the most perfect person, ya know that?”
Nico blinks, a little taken aback by the passionate sentiment but he shrugs and smiles, like it’s no big deal. “I just- I wanted you to know I love you. Even if you had a hard time realizing it then.”
You realize it now, how your mourning brain had fogged up all your emotions then, to point that you were so scared of losing of Nico, when in reality there was never a chance of that happening.
You don’t even know what to say, not that you could if you tried, because that bubble of emotion is sitting heavy in your chest. And you’re unsure of how to burst it, of what words would come out.
Nico must know though, because he takes ahold of the back of your neck, soft and gentle, just like he’s always been. “Let’s go for a drive,” he suggests, squeezing just once.
“M’supposed to be doing things that make you feel better, not the other way around.”
He pats your thigh, nudging you to get up. “This makes me better, you letting me taking care of you…I like knowing you trust me like that. It feels-I don’t know but it’s nice.”
‘Never a kid to him, never a son, never a man. Never enough, I guess’. His words from earlier, becoming even clearer now. He was never trusted to be more than just an heir to Rino, to have more responsibilities. Which is why now, as his own grown adult, Nico feels safe when he’s in charge. And he’s good at it, thrives at calling the shots.
“Ok,” you agree, and you let him guide you up from the bed and into the closet. You let him gather one of his sweaters and some leggings, snow boots and warm layers for you to wear. You let him take care of you, knowing that the both of you are safe with each other.
~~~~
The car inches forward, Nico slow and deliberate as he navigates up the steep roads of the mountains. His song plays over the Bluetooth connection, that one from the bar that he sings all the time and even though you can’t fully remember the translation, it makes you smile knowing it’s a love song.
You take a sip of the hot cocoa filled thermos, sucking in a wince when it burns your bottom lip…again.
“Stop,” Nico laughs, tangling his hand in yours after you returned the drink to the cup holder. “Let it cool down.”
“I thought it was!”
He huffs, squeezing your fingers playfully. “You said that five minutes ago too.” The song switches to something instrumental, the car steadily climbs the mountains, and the snow outside begins to brighten.
It’s all so beautiful, the evergreens bending and swooping under puffs of snow. The baby blue rising over the peaks, making them glow in a softened light.
“I know why you left here,” you say, gazing out the passenger window in awe “but it must be so hard to walk away from something so beautiful.”
Nico makes a thoughtful hum, turning the car off the main road and onto a snow packed one. The view gets even better, and you can’t take your eyes off the landscape.
“It was,” he agrees quietly, “but I found prettier things at home in Jersey.” You can feel his eyes on the side of your face, warming your cheeks and neck until you’re sure they’re flush.
“Timo is very pretty,” you reply weakly, clearing your throat to get rid of the jumble of words still caught in your throat.
Nico rolls his eyes, lips curled in amusement as he pulls to the side of the road. It’s a clearing coveted in snow, messed of boot prints marring it but not taking away from its beautiful landscape.
The sun is continuing to rise, blue turning to purple over the mountain tops, the snow brightening even more. You didn’t bring the clothes to go out and run through it, but you’re itching to get out of the car and snap a photo.
Maybe you could even get Nico to take a quick selfie with you, smiling cheeks pressed together with the open valley and mountains behind you.
“What are we doing here?”
Nico lowers the music, stretching out in his seat and gazing out the front windshield with a satisfied little smirk on his face. “Perfect spot to watch the sunrise,” he explains, nodding out to the view “when the sun hits the mountain tops, everything glows.”
You can picture it, the orange and pink glow, reflecting off big fluffy clouds and snowcapped trees, the last few stars twinkling in the brightening sky.
“Can we get out?”
Batting your eyelashes at him, you pull your best puppy dog face. Not that it’s needed, Nico is already looking at you like he’d give you the sun and the stars.
No hesitancy, he’s laughs. “Yeah, course.” Tugging the hood of your jacket up, you pull the laces tight to protect your neck. Then you’re gathering your phone, tucking it into your pocket and soaking up the last bit of heater before getting out.
“Kay,” you grin “let’s go.”
The air is an icy bite, stings your cheeks and makes your eyes water. You shiver, curling into Nico’s jacket further as you slam the car door shut and kick through the snow. He’s barely getting out of the car by the time you’ve rounded the front, messy hair shifting in the wind now that he’s abandoned his hat somewhere in the car.
“Nico,” you scold, shifting on your feet to generate a little body heat “your ears!”’
He shoves through the calf high piles of snow, hands tucked into his pockets and shoulders hunched, but his face is bright. A toothy smile and pink cheeks, dimples accentuating each side.
God, he’s so handsome. You swallow down the lump of words clawing to get out, reminding yourself that he always has a plan and intention. He’ll say them, he knows what he’s doing. And you trust him.
“Nothing like frozen ear drums to wake you up in the morning.” He jokes, and you step into him, humming at how warm he is even through the wind and layers. You stay huddled together for a few moments, Nico’s nose pressed into the top of your head.
The sun continues to rise, speeding towards the mountains tops and everything grows lighter and lighter. Mountains turn purple and pink, clouds bursting orange and yellow, edging out the dark hues of dawn. Once it all turns gold you pull away from him, the chill even worse after getting used to being tucked into his side.
Slipping your phone out of your pocket, you step closer to the clearing and pull up your camera. You snap a couple photos of the sun rising, tree tops peaking into the edge of the frame. The snow crunches under Nico’s boots behind you, and you’re reminded to get a picture with him.
“Nico,” you sing out, innocently, examining the photos you took as you turn to him. He makes a noise like he’s listening, and you lock your phone. “Can we-“
Everything freezes. The wind stops blowing, the sun halts its ascent, your fingers lock around your phone in a death grip. He’s kneeling, Nico is kneeling in the deep and powdery snow, his frozen fingers locked around a familiar black box.
You must look shocked or surprised or whatever that hot feeling bubbling in your gut is because Nico laughs, just one wobbling little chuckle. Hastily, you shove your phone in your pocket, but then you have no idea what do with your frozen fingers.
“Y/n,” Nico says, like he knows your brain is going a mile a minute “baby.” It’s like he’s calling you, voice a siren song that digs into the nerve endings of your brain and it makes all that noise fade away.
Instinctively, you drop to your knees with him, cushioned by the snow and the double layer of leggings and jeans. He holds out his hand to you, the one not holding the little black box, and you take it between both of yours, warming his fingers between your palms.
“You have completely turned my life upside down, ya know that? Or I don’t know, maybe you turned it right side up because now that I know what it’s like to love you, to have you, I don’t know how I ever lived before.
“Everything feels right when I’m with you, like every moment before us was just steering me to you. You match me, stride for stride. You’re the perfect amount of calm where I’m crazy, of smart where I’m stupid, of solid when I’m impulsive.
“You’ve learned and accepted my lifestyle as if it were second knowledge. You’ve taken my boys and made them your own. You’ve taken me and taught me what it means to actually love and be loved. And I’ll spend the rest of my life trying to show you the same. My darling love, you’ve been a Hischier for a while now, but what do you say we make it official? Will you please marry me?”
The snow has seeped through your pants, soaked into the soft skin of your knees and shins but it doesn’t matter. Maybe you’re numb from the cold, but either way you can’t even feel it. Not with Nico in front of you, eyes wide and glossy with love as he releases your hand to snap open the box.
And there, tucked between two pillowy cushions is the ring you only heard about in passing. It’s not the beautiful and intricate green emerald one from his mother, but instead one of his own design.
A thin gold band, shiny and sleek. A large, round diamond sits in the center, sparkling in the morning sunlight. But the most beautiful part is the tiny pearls beside it, wrapped around the diamond in a delicate band.
Pearls, traditional and elegant and significant for the lifestyle Nico and you live. A diamond, new and modern but just as beautiful. The best of both worlds.
“Yes,” you cry, a wet laugh bubbling out of you. “Of course I’ll marry you, Schao.”
He’s sniffling when he pulls the ring out of the box, taking your freezing and trembling hand in his steady one. The ring slips effortlessly over your knuckle, settling onto your left hand like it’s always belonged there.
“It’s perfect Nico,” you murmur, swiping at your wet cheeks. He licks his lips, nodding in agreement as he delicately runs his thumb over the diamond.
“Yeah it is,” he looks at you, lashes dark and clumped together with tears, his nose and cheeks rosy. “Come here, you’re fucking freezing.”
You’re practically jumping him, arms around his neck and you crash into him so hard he stumbles back into the snow. It’s so fucking cold, wetting his hair and stinging your hands but it doesn’t stop you from smothering him in kisses.
All along his cold cheek bones, on the tip of his glowing nose, on the dimple of his chin, and then finally his lips, chapped from the wind and tears. You hold his face and he holds you, numb hands cherishing each other like the precious gems on your ring.
“I love you,” you whisper into his lips, eyes fluttering open. “You have no idea how hard I’ve been fighting all day to not ask you first.”
He giggles, pecking at your mouth once more. “Yeah?” He kisses you again. “Is that why you went quiet on me?”
You nod, just barely because you don’t really want to stop kissing him. Pushing his hair off his forehead, you kiss between his eyebrows.
“I love you too baby.” He holds the back of your neck, the hoodie protecting you from his frigid fingers. “So fucking much.”
Then he squeezes, just once and you melt back into him, stealing his lips for more kisses. Frostbite be damned.
At least for the moment because after a bit you can feel him shivering, and your hands are so cold they feel like they’re burn off.
“Let’s go warm up,” he pants, breathless and beautiful when you sit up. You climb up from his lap, cheeks aching from smiling and he follows suit, groaning as he digs himself out from the snow angel he’s unintentionally made.
You both dart back to the car, boots crunching and joints protesting but the blast of heat that engulfs you once you get in is so worth it. Tugging off your hood, it takes some wiggling and shuffling but you kick off your boots and wet jeans too, tossing them to the backseat.
Nico reaches for the dash, grabbing for his phone and you realize where his hat from earlier went. He’s balled it up on the dash, phone propped up on it and his camera open and recording the scene in front of you.
He willingly froze his head off in favor of capturing your engagement.
“Well aren’t you a doll,” you tease, making him chuckle bashfully. He tugs his beanie back over his head, tossing his own wet jacket into the backseat.
“For photos,” he reasons, handing you his phone “think one of you tackling me would look real nice over our bed.”
That makes you laugh, setting his phone in your lap while you up the heat on the seat warmers and fish the thermos of hot coco out from the cup holder. Nico’s rubbing his hands together, trying to get them warm while you take a drink.
Perfect temperature. Almost like he planned it to be ready for when you’d get back in the car.
Suspiciously, you eye him and hand over the thermos. All he does is grin though, taking his own drink and winking at you playfully.
Either he’s really lucky, or he’s one smooth fucker.
“Come on, show me the video already!” He laughs when you’ve just been staring at him. Scoffing, you pick the phone up and lean over the console.
“Can I kiss my fiancé first or is that against the rules?”
It’s almost dizzying how struck and lovesick he looks after hearing that. Like he’s been waiting his whole life to hear that name fall from your lips.
~~~~
The bedroom door clicks softly behind Nico, overly cautious to not disturb the boys still sleeping in the other rooms. You drop the pile of wet and soggy clothes off to the side, biting your lip when Nico takes a hold of your hip. He’s gentle when he turns you, crowding you into the door. His palm comes up to cradle you jaw, thumbing at your bottom lip until you release it from between your teeth.
“Hi,” you whisper, the words settling into the stillness around you two. Nico’s eyes crinkle, gaze warm as it washes over you.
“Hey,” he replies, just as quiet. His lips ghost against yours, soft and hot compared to the kisses you shared in the snow. “Can I get you out of those wet clothes?”
You belly swoops pleasantly. “Yes please.”
Boyishly, he chuckles and presses his hand into your face, tilting your chin until he can peck your forehead. “Me too?”
Your smile grows. “Yes please.”
Squeezing your hip, his hands find the edge of his hoodie on your body, dragging it up your body and over your head. It gets tossed to the side with the other wet clothes. Then he’s taking a hold of your long sleeve and doing the same.
Back and forth it goes, you repeating the motions on him, and then him on you until every piece of clothing has been thrown carelessly to the floor. Your mouth finds his, cradling the back of his neck and you walk him back towards the bed.
As if expecting the move, Nico’s arms find your waist, hauling you up until your toes can’t touch the floor. Helpless, you wrap your legs around him, clinging to his shoulders.
He pulls back to see where he’s walking, fingers rubbing circles in your lower back and you lay your head on his shoulder, lazily mouthing at the juncture of his throat and collarbone.
Nico tosses you to the mattress, your body sinking into fluffy duvet and pillows with a shocked yelp. Standing before you, a hand on his hip and the most beautiful you’ve ever seen, Nico grabs at your thigh.
“My first time,” he says thoughtfully, “m’so nervous.”
He knees his way onto the mattress, your thighs spreading to accommodate his frame. “This is not your first time,” you laugh, goosebumps rising on your skin as he drags his palm up the inside of your thigh.
“S’my first time with my fiancée,” he retorts cheekily, pressing his chest to yours. Then he’s pressing his mouth to yours, teasingly licking at the seam of your lips, slow and tenderly, taking his time.
After all, what’s the rush when you get him for the rest of your life.
~~~~
The house is still quiet when you and Nico tiptoe down the stairs, your left hand intertwined with his and he absentmindedly swipes his ring finger into the band on yours.
It’s cute, you think, how obsessed with it he is. Not that you blame him, you never want to take your eyes off it. It’s beautiful and all you can think about is how Nico picked it for you, that he found it with the intention of knowing that it represents you and him forever.
Nico can feel you watching him, knows by the way you stumble into his side and he has to guide you through the living room. His lips quirk up into an amused smile, gaze flicker to meet yours as you cross into the kitchen and you giggle.
Wordlessly, he stops and wraps his arm around your shoulders, drawing you into him. Rising to your toes, you sweetly kiss at the corner of his mouth. Nico’s hand finds your ass, pressing you even closer to him and you make a move for his lips-
“Whoa PG in the kitchen please.”
Nico and you jolt simultaneously, your hand briefly squeezing his as you instinctively move behind him. He’s seemed to have the same reaction, turning as if he were going to shield you before freezing.
“Holy fuck Timo,” Nico gasps, his hold on you easing up “when the fuck did you get here?”
You sigh in relief, relaxing into Nico’s shoulder and trying to calm your racing heart. Apparently this trip has made you more jumpy than you’ve ever been, not that it’s not justified. You were kidnapped, choked, knocked on conscious, and slapped all within few weeks.
“Like ten minutes ago, why are you acting like I pulled gun on you-what the hell happened to you?”
Timo gapes when you look at him, dropping his half eaten toast to the counter and rushing towards you. He basically shoves Nico off of you to take a hold of your face.
“Long story,” you mutter, batting him away “we’ll tell you later when we go to finish the job.”
Nico takes ahold of your hand again, squeezing reassuringly. You can’t help it, you attach to him like two magnet ends, body and mind and soul aching to hold him.
“Are we gonna have to kill anyone again?” Timo frowns, “Because I just got the stains out of my pants.”
You look up at Nico, waiting for his lead. His lips purse, head tilting to the side like he’s thinking about it. “Nah probably not.” Timo slumps in relief. “Now tell us what happened with Amelia?”
Your friend’s whole demeanor perks up at that, blue eyes brightening and eyes crinkling with a huge smile. “We talked for hours,” he gushes, moving back around the counter for his toaster. “About everything! She talked about the shows she’s skated in and her lessons. And I told her about Jersey and the Devs, how big it’s all gotten.
“She wasn’t even freaked out either when I gave her like details on what we do. If anything, she was proud. She kept saying that she knew me and Nico would be big one day.”
He pauses, inhaling three large bites of toast. Crumbs scatter to the plate and countertop. “Timo, that’s great!” You encourage, but he’s not done. Holding up a finger as he chews and swallows.
“So she decided we’d give it a shot, yeah? Not dive head first like you psychos but we’re gonna do long distance and she’ll come visit more, feel it out? But I have a really good feeling about it.”
You’re already overly tender heart swells, and for the first time in a while, everything feels almost perfect. Timo is finally back with the girl he loves after years of enduring an ocean between them. You and Nico are getting married. You’re going home, back to Jersey and Moose and the house that will now have a roof over two Hischier heads.
“Timo, man congrats.” Nico says, awe in his voice. He must be realizing it too, soaking in the moment of things feeling right again.
We’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.
Nico lets go of you in favor of wrapping Timo in a hug so tight it looks bone crushing. Timo chuckles, his grin mirroring Nico’s and they affectionately pat at each other’s chest. “Timo and Amelia, back together. Just like ol’ times.”
“That makes us sound like we’re forty.”
They giggle like school girls, your chest aching at the sight of the man you love with his oldest friend, still acting like they haven’t aged a day since turning 15.
“Will you quiet down,” Jack grumbles, annoyed and half asleep as him and the other boys shuffle into the kitchen. They’re still in their pajamas, bed head and pillow creases on their cheeks. Mercer looks at you, blinking a few times like he’s trying to make himself alert.
“Timo sounds like a fucking goal horn,” Luke adds, equally as grumpy as his brother. It must be a Hughes thing, their repulsion to the mornings.
“And all Nico does is giggle,” Jack glares at him, blue eyes glossy and swollen with exhaustion. He shoulders past Timo and Nico, heading straight for the coffee pot.
Nico looks to you, rolling his eyes but before you can even react back Mercer is there, large and gangly torso blocking your view. Confused, you look up at him curiously.
“Good morning Dawson,” you greet, but he just frowns, looking you up and down. You don’t miss the way he lingers on your busted lip, lips pouting. But then his gaze dips lower, trailing over where your arms are crossed and to your hands.
His gaze shoots up to yours, eyebrows raised in shock and something else. Maybe he’s…impressed? Like he thought Nico and you were gonna keep putting it off or something. Though you suppose he has taking into account that they’ve been telling him since Philly to put a ring on you.
“Nice ring,” he murmurs, voice scratchy and a toothless grin rises on his face. The kitchen goes silent, not even the quiet puff of breathes breaking the silence. Two heads peek over his shoulders, Luke and Alex looking at you expectantly.
“What ring?”
“You guys got married without us?”
Bashfully, you giggle, rolling your eyes at their dramatics. “No just engaged.” You dismiss, waving them off.
The kitchen erupts, a coffee cup clattering to the counter top as Jack and Timo leap to crowd in with the other three. They’re all jeering and shouting things at you, grabbing for your left hand and you laugh. Helpless to their excitement, you let them tug you around and show off the ring.
“I never would’ve guessed you be the first to get married,” Timo teases, whipping around the engulf Nico in a big hug again. Over the top of Luke’s tangled curls you catch Nico’s blush, the big toothy smile on his face. Until you’re being squashed into four pairs of arms.
Like a bunch of children on the playground, you and the boys all squeal and hop around in a jumbled group hug, the only thing keeping you from being bumped over is them.
“Part the Red Sea, please!” Timo shoves them apart, making a gap between Mercer and Alex wide enough to squish Nico in. You happily accept his open arms, let him wrap them around your waist and tuck his face into your neck. The group hug closes up, everyone squeezing you tight.
Giggling, you stroke through Nico’s bed head and he smacks sweet kisses to the side of your neck. You close your eyes, soak in the warm words and arms of those you love. Of your boys.
~~~~
Nico fiddles with his hair in the mirror, tucking it behind his ears and then tilting his head, bottom lip between his teeth as he examines it. Then he untucks it, shaking it out with his fingers and starting again.
“Baby,” you cap the perfume you were rolling onto your wrists. He hums in acknowledgment. “Are you ok? You seem nervous.”
He stops, gaze flickering to meet yours through the reflection. You’re taken back to all those weeks ago when he was first asking you to come to Switzerland, how he was fidgety and wide eyed all night. Did he have all this planned then? A proposal? Or did it just look out that way?
“Yeah,” he croaks, swallowing roughly. “I’m-I am nervous. I mean I’m ok but yeah.”
Placing your perfume on the counter, you slide over to him. Nico turns, propping himself up against the bathroom counter and you step between his parted legs. “Do you want to talk about it?”
Your hand trails up his chest, stroking over the soft fabric of knitted sweater. He looks so snuggly, so sweet you want to wrap him in your arms.
Nico grabs at your hip, eyebrows pinching in pain as he sorts through his worries and thoughts. “I don’t know what’ll happen,” he says carefully “I hate that, not knowing. Especially when it comes to you.”
You smile, thumb fondly tracing over the lines of his throat. His five o’clock shadow scratches at the pad of your finger. “It always works out Nico,” you assure “we can’t know everything, but we’re always prepared, right?”
A grateful smile curls his lips for a moment, but his eyes blink at you sadly. “What if they knew?” He asks “what if they were all in on it? This whole time, after I trusted them? I’ll do it, but I don’t want to have to say goodbye again.”
That empty throbbing feeling from this morning returns, clanging painfully against your ribs and heart. Nico didn’t get to say goodbye to his father, didn’t get to talk to him at all. You took over, you took that goodbye from him without even realizing how it could hurt him.
“Nico,” you sigh, guilty “I should’ve talked to you about Rino before I did anything. Dragging Mercer in there all guns a blazing and forcing him from your life…I mean you didn’t even get to say goodbye.”
You think about that day in the hospital when Nico left. You knew exactly what he was doing, where he was going. It broke your heart that he lied right to your face in front of all his family. It hurt you that he was making decisions for you.
And yet, you did the same. Maybe the circumstances weren’t exactly similar, but you didn’t even hint to him about Rino. No, you sent him out on a day with the boys while you destroyed the sliver of a relationship he might have had with his father.
Nico’s watching you curiously, eyes boring into yours. You wonder what he’s looking for, what he thinks you’re holding back or shielding from that apology maybe. What intention is he looking for?
“I get it,” you add “how you felt with Lena. I didn’t even really think. I was just so mad that he could do that to you, that he’d hurt you like that and I reacted. I wanted to protect you, but I shouldn’t have done it like that.”
He looks pained almost, like your words crawled down his throat and into his gut, twisting and knotting everything up. But he also looks…angry. Eyebrows scrunched and gaze dark, his jaw ticking.
“When are you gonna get it?” He asks, not mean but frustrated. His grip on your hips tightens, dragging you closer to him. “What happened, all this stuff wasn’t done to me. It was done to you, they hurt you.
“I don’t care if it was done to get to me, it actually, physically hurt you. So you don’t have to apologize for what they did, for taking Mercer and confronting Rino. Anyone that would lay a finger on you isn’t my friend or family.
“You are. You’re my family baby, and that’s all I care about.”
Maybe it’s the emotions of the day. Between his proposal, Timo getting together with Amelia, the boys loving on you too, and now this? Or maybe it’s just the fact that the sweetest, most understanding and loving man in the world chooses everyday to love you. Whatever it is, you sniffle back tears, blinking wetly at Nico.
One of his large hands cups your face, thumb gently wiping under your teary eyes. He eyes you lovingly, gaze warm and comforting and for some reason that makes you cry more.
“Eesh,” he laughs, tucking your face into his chest. “Why are you crying baby?”
“I don’t know!” You cry , hiding in the comfort of his embrace. His chest rumbles with laughter, lips smiling against the top of your head and he nuzzles into you.
“Ok.”
After a moment you’ve stopped sniffling, Nico wiping at your cheeks and eyes with the sleeves of his sweater. “Pretty,” he murmurs, a sweet grin dimpling his cheeks. Blushing, you press a kiss to his chin.
“I think everything with your family will work out exactly how it’s supposed to,” you assure him, heart fluttering in your chest when he reaches for your left hand. His gaze sparkles as he examines your ring, thumbing over your knuckle thoughtfully.
“Yeah,” he agrees “I just…I don’t know. I really hope Katja wasn’t apart of it. I thought everything was fine after she came to check on you.”
You hum, unsure of what to say. You can’t guarantee Katja wasn’t a part of it. You also can’t guarantee that she wasn’t. If it were you and Nico, he’d never keep you in the dark about a deal like that. He’d have you right next to him the whole time, through planning, preparing, and even execution.
But Katja and Rino aren’t like you and Nico.
He presses a kiss to the palm of your hand, long eyelashes fluttering as he does so and you think of the day Katja took you for a drive. Rino excluded her from everything, she had no say over what the business did. And you could tell she hated it, especially by the way she lit up when she realized Nico treats you as an equal in the Devs family.
Startled, you look up at Nico with wide eyes. His eyebrows furrow, grip on your hands tightening. “What? What is it?”
“She knew,” you say, “Katja knew. But she wasn’t in on it.”
Her threats in the car, her insisting you weren’t safe with Nico weren’t threats at all. She wasn’t condemning you and Nico for having a life in Jersey, she was warning you. Rino’s plan for his kids, Nico’s stubbornness and ability to push back against his family. Rino’s loathing of insubordination, especially his youngest sons.
He didn’t agree with how Nico rebranded his life and was running the Devs. Katja was warning you that Rino was taking action against Nico.
“Nico she was warning me. She was trying to save us.”

*.⊹˚ SYLUS | dream come true (christmas special)
Tumblr media
── ◜sylus x fem!reader — mini one shot 1.5k words ◜sylus decides to prepare a surprise for her as a christmas present author's note | christmas specials from the rest of the LI on my profile
Tumblr media
Christmas wasn't her favorite holiday, but there was something different this year: Sylus was by her side. She knew he wasn't a big fan of the holiday either, she'd noticed, but the idea of doing something together excited her.
"Where are we going?" She asked, letting out a breath. A cloud of smoke came out of his lips, making her laugh. Even as an adult, that still made her laugh. Sylus had been leading her to 'a surprise' over ten minutes ago, but she just didn't see any surprises and she was freezing to death.
"We're almost there." Sylus turned to look at her and a small smile formed on his lips, barely perceptible.
She sighed in frustration and continued walking in silence for a few more minutes. Her gaze was fixed on her shoes and the way they sank into the snow with each step. Sylus had shown up at her house two hours ago, forcing her to get dressed saying he had a surprise for her. She wondered how he knew she had no plans specifically for that day, had Mephisto told him something? Had he spied on her schedule?
"We arrived." Sylus' voice brought her out of her bubble. She looked up excitedly, but her expression changed completely when she saw what was in front of her.
"What is this?" she asked confused, she hadn't even noticed when she had stopped walking, but Sylus had stopped in front of her.
"It's for us." She felt him take her hand and force her to walk with him, she followed him trying not to fall but she was still too shocked to walk normally.
A large ice rink was in front of her. She recognized it perfectly, it was the typical ice rink that the mall put up every year during Christmas. But it was empty.
"Sylus, I told you I can't skate," she muttered, trying to sound annoyed, but she still didn't sound shocked, she had told him that two weeks ago. She had mentioned to him that she had always wanted to do Christmas things like in the movies, like skating, something she didn't even know how to do. She had never tried to learn because she was embarrassed by the looks of the people around her.
"I know. I rented the whole ice rink for us, so you can learn." She blinked in confusion but forced herself to keep quiet. He'd rented the whole damn ice rink… for her.
She remained silent as Sylus helped her into the small space where there were benches to put on her skates. She also remained silent when she put on the skates Sylus had brought for her, she had really thought of absolutely everything.
"Sylus… I'm going to fall." She sighed in frustration as she looked at the ice rink in front of her. It was huge and completely empty, which was comforting.
"You'll be okay, I'll hold you. Come here." She stood up and walked very carefully to the edge of the ice rink. She stood there for a few seconds, there was some snow because there was no roof, but nothing that would bother her.
She blinked as she felt Sylus' arms wrap around her hips. Her body tensed and suddenly she no longer felt nervous about the ice rink… It was Sylus' body pressed against hers and his arms holding her close that made her nervous.
She entered the ice rink slowly. She kept her feet steady because she didn't dare let Sylus go, at least not at that moment. First she needed to find balance.
"Why did you do that?" she asked, letting Sylus lead her. He was actually the one doing all the work, pushing them both across the ice rink. She kept her feet completely firm, she was still too nervous and afraid that the second she separated from Sylus she would end up with her face against the ice.
"You said your dream was to ice skate during Christmas," he replied quietly, his lips too close to her ear. She remembered it, they had watched one of her favorite Christmas movies together. She was surprised that Sylus remembered. "You also said you were embarrassed to be seen."
"And that's why you paid for an entire ice rink?" She tried to look over her shoulder and when she turned her face she noticed how close Sylus was to her. She quickly looked back, feeling her cheeks warm. If she hadn't noticed, she could have accidentally brushed their lips.
Sylus smiled when he noticed the way her face had turned quickly. "Does it bother you?"
"I'm surprised." She shrugged. She knew that anyone else wouldn't have done the same thing, but Sylus wasn't just anyone.
It was new for her, she appreciated every detail that Sylus had with her, but no one had done the same before. She didn't know how to accept anything that came from him without feeling ashamed.
"I'm going to let you go now." She blinked repeatedly as Sylus' voice brought her out of her thoughts. She looked over her shoulder in fear but Sylus was no longer beside her and was not pressing his body against hers.
He pushed her gently, letting her skates slide across the ice. She gasped in a mix of surprise and terror of end up with her face against ground. It took her a couple of seconds to regain the balance and he prepared to catch her if she fell, but it wasn't necessary.
She looked at Sylus with excitement and slowly slid down the ice until she reached him again. He gently grabbed her wrists to hold her and smiled due to the excitement and happiness on her face. When the girl looked up again she met Sylus' piercing eyes, her smile fading slightly due to the nerves caused by the way he looked at her.
"Thank you… for this."
"You did it yourself." He shook his head not wanting to take credit for something so simple.
"I'm not talking about that." She rolled her eyes. She knew Sylus knew she was referring to the whole ice rink surprise.
She looked up at the sky, feeling a snowflake falling on her face, a sign that it was going to start snowing. He had fulfilled her Christmas dream.

pipefan413: The children pledged to each other that one day they would run away together. pipefan413: They followed in the footsteps of the dear colonel, in defiance of the old batterwitch. They studied his every jape, and practiced them in secret!
She could have left, then. Planned to leave, even. Grandpa didn’t abandon her, like I'd originally assumed – he always intended to flee alongside her.
pipefan413: But as they grew older, their interests drifted apart. The boy developed a passion for adventure and put aside his study of practical jokes. He dreamed of wealth and fame and discovery and swore he would wander the world. pipefan413: One day he decided to run away with the loyal dog he inherited from their father. He asked the girl if she would come along, but she was too scared of the retribution that might follow.
But I guess the adolescent Nanna didn’t have Grandpa’s confidence, nor his fearlessness. Left alone with a witch of a woman, her childhood was probably not dissimilar to many other children in this sad saga.
pipefan413: The boy scoffed at the danger, and assured his sister there was nothing to worry about. But he had not seen first hand what the baroness was capable of!
It sounds like Nanna directly witnessed some specific evil act. The woman did run a corporation, though, so that was probably just a typical Tuesday for Betty Crocker.
pipefan413: He told his sister that he believed in her, and that she could handle whatever the witch could throw at her. [...]
Those are some pretty harsh words for a girl destined for a lifetime of abuse - but at the same time, he did openly ask her to run away with him, and she couldn't do it. What was he meant to do, kidnap her?
I don't blame him for leaving alone, either. Grandpa was also an abused child, and it would be asking a lot of him to remain in an abusive household to defend another child. He needed to leave that situation for his sake, just as Nanna needed to leave it for hers.
Pipefan413: [...] And with that, he was off, and she would never see him again.
But, all that said, he should have come back eventually. He didn’t need to abandon her for an entire lifetime.
Whatever extenuating circumstances there may have been, it can't be denied that he started his life as an adventurer the same way he ended it - by leaving someone who loved him behind.
pipefan413: One day, the girl was able to gather enough bravery to mention her brother to the baroness, and her desire to see him again. With contempt, she guaranteed that this could never happen. When the girl asked why, that is when the baroness began to reveal to her more than just her baking secrets. pipefan413: [...] The colonel was not their father, nor was the baroness their mother. They in fact had no father or mother at all, nor were they ever actually born. They had both fallen from the sky! They were not actually brother and sister as they had been told either. Again like in many fairy tales, the truth was that they were always destined to become married one day. They were to have two children, a son and a daughter, and these children were meant to save the world! […]
Wait, what? Betty Crocker knew Sburb lore?
...I think it says quite a lot about the Homestuck experience that I'm not even particularly surprised. Of course Betty Crocker knew Sburb lore.
It’s clear that she didn't know everything, though. She was aware that John and Jade would eventually happen, but assumed they’d be born naturally - which makes it sound like she was just getting fragments of future events, much like a Prospit dreamer’s visions.
...or, like a wielder of the Cueball, which we already know was in her family’s possession. It’s sounding a lot like even Betty fucking Crocker was a Scratch pawn all along.

Hay! Heh, I am a fan about your post, and i was wondering if you can do a bakugou x y/n post where they are 25 and have a 6 year old son named kanji that looks and acts like bakugou, and they are at a grocery store and kanji sees a toy and makes a BIG tantrum embarrassing Y/n, and bakugou let's out his strict father side, aka bakugou is 1 hero, so... yeah.... rich.. THANK YOU 😭
𝓒𝐎𝐏𝐘 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄
Tumblr media
you loved your husband dearly—even though his attitude sometimes felt like wrangling a feral cat, you couldn’t imagine your life without him. katsuki was a great husband and an even better father. somehow, he managed to juggle being the number one hero, a title that came with endless demands, while still making time for you and your little family.
and then there was kanji. your six-year-old son who was, quite frankly, a miniature katsuki in every sense. the same fiery attitude, the unshakable stubbornness, the sass that could cut sharper than any blade. even the way he’d glare at people—it was uncanny. sometimes you’d swear you were looking at a younger version of your husband.
it wasn’t just his personality, either. kanji’s wild blond hair, sharp crimson eyes, and even the way he crossed his arms when he was annoyed? all bakugou. it was as if the universe had taken katsuki and hit the copy-paste button without consulting you first. you couldn’t help but feel a little robbed—after all, you were the one who carried him for nine months, dealt with the swollen feet, the cravings, the mood swings. and yet, kanji turned out to be a walking, talking katsuki replica.
but honestly? you didn’t really mind. even when kanji’s temper flared, or when he mimicked his dad’s bossy tone, it made your heart warm. because as much as katsuki’s attitude could be a challenge, you loved everything about him. and seeing those same traits in kanji, no matter how chaotic they made your days, was a reminder of the love the two of you had built.
you always knew how much your son looked up to his father—it was written all over kanji’s face. every little thing katsuki did, kanji wanted to do, too. he’d follow katsuki around the house, mimicking his movements, copying the way he crossed his arms or the gruff way he’d say, ‘tch’. kanji’s biggest dream, even at six years old, was to be the number one hero, just like his dad. and katsuki? oh, he ate that up.
“when you’re older, kid, i’ll show ya all the tricks.” katsuki would say, ruffling kanji’s already messy blond hair. “i’ll make sure you’re better than all those extras out there.” kanji’s eyes would light up every time, and the two of them would launch into some over-the-top conversation about training regimens and hero rankings. their bond was undeniable, built on the same fiery ambition and drive that katsuki had passed down to him.
but with that bond came the attitude. katsuki’s attitude. and you swore sometimes it was your curse to deal with two versions of the same fiery temper under one roof. kanji had inherited more than just katsuki’s looks—he had the same sharp tongue, the same unrelenting sass, and the same way of glaring at you like you were personally ruining his day when he didn’t get his way.
you loved your son to pieces, but oh, how your patience was tested.
you swore sometimes you could feel your eye twitch when your six-year-old son had the audacity to sass you. “kanji, clean up your toys.” you’d say, only to be met with an exasperated; “ugh, fine, mom. i’ll do it later, jeez!” complete with an eye roll so dramatic it could win awards.
“watch your tone, kanji.” you’d warn, and from the next room, katsuki would shout, “oi, don’t be talkin’ to your mom like that, you little brat!” and yet, you’d catch him stifling a laugh when kanji wasn’t looking, because deep down, katsuki knew exactly where the kid got it from.
there were days you swore you were outnumbered—two bakugous against one you—but deep down, you couldn’t help but love it. kanji’s sass, as frustrating as it could be, was just another reminder of the fiery, headstrong family you’d built. even if it meant you’d occasionally lose an argument to a six-year-old.
and that’s how you ended up in this situation. you were just trying to get through the grocery trip without any chaos. that was the goal. in and out—grab the essentials and avoid anything that might set off your six-year-old son, kanji. but, of course, life had other plans.
everything had been going smoothly until you turned down the toy aisle, rookie mistake. kanji’s sharp gaze zeroed in on a display of action figures, specifically a limited-edition hero toy that looked suspiciously like dynamight himself. his tiny hand grabbed your sleeve, tugging with determination.
“mom! mom! look! it’s dad’s toy! i need it!”
you gave him a soft smile, crouching down to his level. “kanji, we’re not getting toys today, baby. we’re just here for groceries. you already have tons of toys at home.”
big mistake.
his bottom lip jutted out, his eyes narrowing in frustration. “but i don’t have this one!”
before you could reason with him, he dropped to the floor in a dramatic fashion, kicking his legs and letting out an ear-piercing wail that had heads turning from all directions. your cheeks burned as you tried to calm him, murmuring soft words that fell on deaf ears.
“kanji, stop this right now.” you whispered, glancing around at the growing number of onlookers. “you’re making a scene.”
“i don’t care!” he shouted back, tears streaming down his cheeks. “i want it!”
just as you were about to give up and let the earth swallow you whole, a familiar voice cut through the chaos like a whip.
“kanji.”
you didn’t even have to turn around to know who it was. katsuki’s voice was low and sharp, the kind that made grown adults flinch—and it had your son freezing mid-tantrum.
before you could say anything else, katsuki—who’d been a few steps behind grabbing something off the shelf—appeared, his towering figure and unmistakable presence shutting down the entire aisle’s noise. his crimson eyes narrowed as he looked at kanji.
“oi, brat. knock it off.” he barked, his voice low and firm, the same tone he used as pro hero dynamight when things got serious. kanji’s sobs faltered for a moment, but he looked up at his dad with that same fiery determination katsuki himself had mastered.
“but daddy! i need it!” kanji tried, sniffling dramatically.
“you don’t need it.” katsuki shot back, crossing his arms over his chest. “what you need is to listen to your mom and stop actin’ like a damn spoiled kid.”
kanji’s bottom lip quivered. “but—”
“no buts.” katsuki interrupted, crouching down to kanji’s level. his tone softened just slightly, though his eyes stayed sharp. “you think screamin’ and cryin’ is gonna get you what you want? not a chance. that ain’t how it works. you don’t get somethin’ just ‘cause you throw a fit. you gotta earn it, got it?”
kanji blinked up at him, his tears slowing as the weight of his dad’s words sank in. he mumbled something incoherent, and katsuki tilted his head.
“what was that?”
“got it.” kanji said more clearly, wiping his face with the back of his hand.
“good.” bakugou said, ruffling the boy’s spiky blonde hair before standing back up. he glanced at you, his expression softening slightly. “you okay, mama?”
“yeah.” you muttered, still feeling the lingering embarrassment from the scene. “thanks for stepping in.”
he smirked, leaning down to press a quick kiss to your temple. “you’ve been dealin’ with his crap all day, huh?”
“you have no idea.”
bakugou glanced back at kanji, who was now holding onto your leg, looking thoroughly chastised.“now quit the damn tears and help your mom with the list.” katsuki stood up and ruffled kanji’s messy blond hair, his version of an apology for being so harsh.
you let out a breath you didn’t realize you’d been holding. katsuki turned to you with a smirk, his tone lighter now. “what?”
“strict dad mode, huh?” you teased, trying not to laugh.
“damn right. kid’s gotta learn. can’t have him thinkin’ just ‘cause his old man’s dynamight he can get whatever he wants.”
later, as you loaded groceries into the car, you noticed katsuki handing a small bag to kanji, who lit up with excitement.
“you bought it for him anyway?” you asked, raising a brow.
katsuki shrugged, smirking. “don’t get used to it, kid.” he said to kanji. “this doesn’t mean you get what you want every time.”
kanji nodded enthusiastically, clutching the action figure like it was the greatest treasure in the world.
you rolled your eyes, a fond smile tugging at your lips. “strict dad, my ass.”
“hey.” katsuki shot back, pulling you closer. “i can be strict and still spoil my kid. he is a bakugou, after all.”

answering like this because the ask was broken and also the second part? Anon. Anon when I catch you anon 😔😭 (only the last paragraph between the brackets contains death!)
Okay but like, the way they’d be all over you in concern </3 john just does his best to make as time for you as possible. He brushes aside all non-urgent meetings, delegates his task to his trusted assistants, and stays with you instead, often asking you how you feel, what you want and need.
Where you walk, Simon and his dogs follow. You know that if it’d be left to him, you wouldn’t be walking at all. In fact, that what he coaxes you to do often; sit down, relax, rest. Whatever you need, he or the dogs will fetch it for you (and when you inevitably get bed-bound, he will be there, and the dogs sleeping at your feet)
In that state, Johnny is a whole new man; he frets over you each second he spends with you, always has snacks and fruits and foods ready and keeps tabs on what you’ve eaten. Has a whole little book dedicated for that purpose, just in case.
Kyle is also much like Simon; he is where you are, always a soothing presence, always an eye on your state and emotions and health, and runs the duchy almost like a military unit. He sticks by your side when the worst of it happens, your palm held against his cheek while he murmurs prayers for you to get better, whispers of his dreams, where you are healthy and hale and holding their baby in your arms, and surely those dreams are not God playing a cruel joke on him?
The only thing that stops them from breaking, truly, is your happiness; despite all your suffering, all your pain and exhaustion, you remain happy. Excited. You comfort them without knowing it, even though that’s what they should be doing.
But it’s all worth it, in the end. When you are truly holding your baby in your weak arms, supported by them. They hold you, they are the ones to help you clean yourself, the ones to press kisses to your temple and hair and hands and damp cheeks and remind you of how much they love and adore you, and it makes dealing with all the pain and aches just a touch easier, cradling your tiny bundle of joy in your embrace.
(In another life, your baby is held in another’s arms. In another life, the cries that fill the manor are not ones of joy. In another life, your baby is left only with the memory of a distant love that never had the chance to bloom.)

The next morning as you woke up, you were confused.
There was someone behind you, their arms wrapped around you as their breath kept hitting your neck.
You almost started screaming as you squirmed but the arms tightened around you.
“Relax, it’s just me.”
“Hyunjin! What the hell?” you whined, trying to get out of his grasp.
“I had a nightmare so I came back.” he nuzzled into you and you tried to move away, realizing then that his leg was thrown over you and you were essentially caged.
“How did you get into my room?” you questioned.
“I stole your key when you threw me out.” Hyunjin answered nonchalantly.
“You little criminal.” you frowned, trying to get out of his deadly clutch again.
“Let go, Hyunjin.”
“Mm… no.”
“Hyunjin, I’m warning you.”
You felt his smile against the back of your neck.
“Let me hold you for a little while.” he said.
“You held me against my will since you sneaked back in.” you fought against him.
“Stop squirming!” Hyunjin almost laid down on top of you as you whined.
Thankfully, a knock on the door saved you.
“Let me get the door at least.”
Hyunjin groaned as the knocks persisted before letting you go.
“Fine, you’re free.” he pouted.
You opened the door and Brendon was on the other side.
“Oh, hey B.” you said.
“Hey. Is Hyunjin in there with you? We can’t find him.”
“Oh yeah, he’s here.” you confirmed.
“Oh.” Brendon smirked.
“It’s nothing like that!” you felt the need to defend yourself instantly.
“Mhm. Sure. Well, Aiden and I are gonna get some breakfast so you guys can join us if you want.”
“Sure, we’ll be down soon.”
“See ya.” Brendon winked before you closed the door.
You made your way back to your bed and the sight made you melt.
In your rush to get away from Hyunjin and open the door, you didn’t see he brought his teddy bear with him, the plushie friend leaned on the other pillow that was untouched.
Hyunjin was sleeping on your side, hogging your pillow and blanket like there wasn’t enough space, and what’s worse he didn’t have a shirt on and your face became profusely red in a millisecond.
“Hyunjin, wake up, we’re gonna get breakfast with the guys.” you shook him lightly.
He muttered but never moved.
“Hyunjin! Wake up!” you shook him again.
“Stop calling me Hyunjin!” he turned towards you suddenly and you laughed at his cute swollen face and his disheveled hair.
“That’s your name, silly.” you said.
“Give me a nickname. Hyunjin sounds too formal. Unless you’re moaning it.” he smirked and you decided to put use to the other pillow and smack him with it.
“Ow.” he whimpered. “Did you see that teddy? She’s abusing me.”
“Let’s go.” you rolled your eyes as he pouted.
Getting breakfast with Aiden and Brendon proved to be a mistake as they teased you constantly.
“You two finally shacking up, huh?” Aiden smirked.
“We are far from shacking up.” you grimaced and Hyunjin laughed.
“You’ve warmed up to me, admit it.” Hyunjin wiggled his eyebrows as he leaned in close to your face.
“Not admitting anything unless a lawyer is present.” you smirked.
“Fine, don’t.” he smirked back.
“Actually, I went to law school shortly so-”
“Brendon, shut the fuck up.” you said as everyone laughed.
“How about we hit the town?” Aiden suggested after breakfast and everyone agreed.
You spent the day sightseeing (and getting stopped by fans occasionally) and Hyunjin insisted on taking as many pictures as he could to capture the happy memories.
By the time you got to your room, it was almost night and you were exhausted.
“Oh, hello there.” you saw Hyunjin’s teddy on your bed, which meant he probably left it to have a reason to come back to your room.
You were expecting him to come in any minute, but as you showered and laid down, it was quiet.
You almost fell asleep, the buzzing of your phone startling you.
asshole<3: hey pretty, are you asleep
you: not anymore, what do you want
asshole<3: put your bathing suit on (or don’t) but i’m taking you to a night swim in the pool
you: no you’re not, i’m going back to sleep.
asshole<3: no we’re going swimming baby. i’m in front of your door
you: why don’t you just come in? breaking and entering seems like your thing.
It was quiet for a moment, before you heard the keycard beeping and the door opening.
“It’s not breaking and entering when I have a key, just so you know.” Hyunjin walked in nonchalantly, throwing his towel over the chair.
“Did you get a spare key for my room?” you sat up in your bed, turning the lamp on.
“Yeah, I told the desk lady you’re my girlfriend. She wouldn’t budge in the beginning but I charmed my way into getting the key.” he smiled smugly as he sat down next to you.
“Of course you did.” you rolled your eyes.
“Aw, were you hugging teddy?” Hyunjin smiled, pointing to his friend who was laid next to you. “I’m so glad you two are getting along.”
“He looked lonely.” you shrugged.
“Don’t I look lonely too?” Hyunjin pouted and you made a disgusted face.
“Please, don’t do that.” you got up as Hyunjin’s eyes followed you.
“Are you gonna put your bathing suit on?”
“Yes, in the bathroom.” you rummaged through your things and Hyunjin chuckled.
“I mean, we can go skinny-dipping too.” he added.
“Yeah right.” you gave him a look before making your way to the bathroom.
The two of you finally made your way to the pool, sneaking around as it was late.
It made you feel like you were a couple of teenagers looking for a place to fuck.
There was something in the air, you felt it as Hyunjin walked close to you, his eyes wandering to you constantly.
When you made it to the pool, both of you stripped without hesitation and Hyunjin’s lips parted as he started eye-fucking you openly.
“Close your mouth, you’ll catch flies.” you smirked.
“Not if I put my mouth to some better use.” he smirked back and you rolled your eyes as you made your way towards the water.
“Come on, you invited me here, what are you waiting for?” you said and Hyunjin followed you, both of you getting in.
“Fuck, it’s cold.” you hissed and Hyunjin floated closer to you.
“We’ll warm up.” he came up behind you, his arms wrapping around your middle.
“I thought we were swimming.” you craned your neck, trying to look at him.
“We are.” Hyunjin nosed your cheek, before brushing his lips against your skin briefly, his lip ring scratching you pleasantly.
“H-Hyunjin.” you turned around as he released you and his face was unreadable.
“What?” you asked.
“Nothing.” he said, a sly smile spreading on his face as he lifted his hand and splashed you.
“Asshole!” you laughed, splashing him back.
“Ooh, I haven’t heard that one in a while.” Hyunjin bit on his lip, playing with his piercing shortly as he got closer again.
You squealed and swam away so he started swimming after you.
“You know I used to compete in swimming? It’s futile trying to escape.” Hyunjin said as he kept coming closer.
You screamed, laughing as he grabbed your ankle and pulled you into him before he cornered you against the edge of the pool.
“I’m gonna kiss you now. You can push me away if you don’t want it and I won’t bother you again.” he started, his hand touching your waist tentatively. “Unless you ask of course.” he smirked. “The point is, if you let me kiss you it’ll be hard for me to control myself.”
“How so?” you smirked, your hand touching his arm, as you ran it up to his shoulder.
“You can’t be that blind, y/n. I’ve always wanted you.” hearing him say that made you shiver in anticipation as your bodies got even closer.
“Oh yeah? Show me.” you teased, brushing your lips against his.
Hyunjin’s eyes widened for a moment as he squeezed your waist before he gave you his famous smirk.
You leaned in and met him in the middle as your lips pressed against each other’s, his lip ring adding a satisfying pressure as he slowly moved his lips against yours.
The tip of his tongue swiped over your bottom lip and you let him in as his hands slid down to your lower back.
His tongue moved against yours, his piercing scraping you and adding a spark you never felt before while kissing someone.
Hyunjin knew what he was doing, his kiss was deliberate and erotic, not what you expected of him as he claimed every inch of your mouth with his tongue.
Chills ran up your spine when he pressed his body into yours, your legs wrapping around him automatically.
Hyunjin pushed you into the cold tiles of the pool but you didn’t care when you felt his dick pressing right into your core.
Both of you moaned into the kiss as your nails lightly scraped his shoulders and his fingers came up to the strap of your bathing suit.
He pulled on it, making it unravel as your breasts fell out for him to play with.
“Whoops.” he smirked as he leaned back, looking at you with hooded eyes.
“Nipple piercings would look perfect on you.” he said as he grabbed your tits, massaging them and playing with your nipples.
“Oh really?” you smirked and he nodded, mirroring your smirk as he pinched your nipples.
You whimpered, grinding against him and he squeezed your breasts, he was grunting as he moved against you, the water splashing around.
He leaned in, one hand on the back of your head as his lips attached to your skin, leaving kisses on your neck before he licked at it, his piercing tickling you a little.
“That feels interesting.” you chuckled as he pressed himself closer to you, his skin against yours, making you feel even hotter.
“What, my piercings?”
“Yeah.”
“They’d be even more interesting if you’d let me eat you out.” he smirked as you traced his pretty tattoos with your fingers.
“What, here?” you chuckled.
“Not here. We can go back to your room.” he bit on his lip as he searched your eyes.
Well fuck it, you thought, you were already this far, your mind still not realizing the fact that you’re making out with Hwang Hyunjin, your number one enemy or so he used to be.
“Sure. In a minute.” you smirked, your hand tangling in his hair as you pulled a little making him hiss and bite on his lip.
You leaned in, wrapping your lips around his adam's apple and Hyunjin whimpered as you sucked on it.
“Mm, baby.” he whined as you swiped your tongue on it before kissing and lightly biting on his neck.
He kept grinding against you and your pussy throbbed for him.
His hands ran down to your ass as he grabbed you and held you in place, grinding faster against you as you kissed the tattoos on his shoulder and arm, your lips then traveling to his collarbone and chest.
“You’re driving me crazy, princess.” he almost growled, gripping your ass and making you moan against his wet skin.
“Am I?” your hand snaked between your bodies, until you found his bulge and gripped it.
“Fuck!” Hyunjin grunted, fucking into your hand immediately but before he could enjoy it further, you decided to tease him and move your hand away.
“We can go now.” you whispered, turned on beyond your mind as Hyunjin clumsily helped you put your bathing suit on.
The two of you quickly grabbed your stuff, still half wet, you made your way to your room as Hyunjin held your hand, both of you giggling like two horny teengers.
As soon as you walked in, Hyunjin tossed his towel carelessly on the floor, grabbing your wrists and pinning you to the door before you could even react.
His thigh slotted between your legs and you whimpered as he flexed his muscle.
“Look at you. Falling apart already and I haven’t even touched your pussy.” he smirked and that feeling of annoyance he always used to give you turned you on in this moment, making you feel even more annoyed that you fell under his charm.
You squirmed but it only resulted in your core grinding against his hard thigh.
“Asshole.” you whined and he tightened the grip on your wrists, pressing his thigh harder into your throbbing core as he started moving it against you.
“I am.” he chuckled, leaning in and kissing you more passionately than before, his lips forceful against yours.
You hated admitting it but you were putty in Hyunjin’s arms and he knew it as he smirked against your lips before pushing his tongue inside and swirling it around yours.
He swallowed every moan as he kept stealing your breath, your pussy dripping with arousal and need.
“Let go of my hands.” you whimpered as he left kisses on your jaw and neck.
“Why?” he smirked against your skin, dragging his tongue on the column of your neck before he sank his teeth into your sensitive spot, right below your ear.
“Ah!” you moaned, jolting into him as he sucked a mark on your skin. “Because I wanna touch you.” you answered his question.
“Hm, should I let you?” he chuckled against your collarbone, brushing his lips there.
“I know you want me to.” you whispered in his ear, pressing a kiss to his cheek and Hyunjin let out a shaky breath before finally releasing your wrists.
Your hands tangled in his hair instantly as you continued making out desperately, grinding against each other.
Hyunjin’s large hands traveled all over your body, exploring and groping you, his lips and tongue lazily dragging on the outline of your breasts to your stomach as he kneeled before you.
You looked at him through hooded eyes as he grabbed your leg and hooked it over his shoulder.
“I thought you said you’d only kneel for me once.” you smirked and he smirked back at you.
“Guess I was wrong.” he said before mouthing at your thigh, licking and biting, driving you crazy as he came closer to your core.
Hyunjin grabbed the straps of your bathing suit, undoing them quickly and leaving you bare.
“Fuck, such a pretty pussy.” he groaned, pushing his face into your core immediately.
“Ah!” you jolted when he licked a long stripe on your pussy, his piercing catching onto your clit deliciously.
“Tastes sweet too.” he smirked at you as you whimpered, your fingers tangling in his hair.
He spread you apart with his fingers, wrapping his plump lips around your clit and sucking on it.
“Oh god.” you groaned, banging your head against the door as he slurped on your pussy.
Your thighs trembled as he swiped his tongue over your clit repeatedly, making sure that his piercing gives you stimulation too.
You were holding back for some reason and Hyunjin seemed to sense it as he pulled back and looked up at you.
“Pull on my hair as much as you need to, sweetheart. You can pull, scratch, bite, I love it.” he smirked. “You can even slap me again if you’d like.”
You gripped his hair harshly, making him whimper as you brought his face closer to your core again.
“Keep going.” you said and Hyunjin listened immediately, his tongue diving between your folds to slurp up your juices.
The sounds his mouth was creating as he kept making out with your wet pussy were downright sinful and you were so lost in it, your head thrown back as you shook and kept pulling on his hair that you didn’t even notice Hyunjin had pulled his swim trunks down, his hand wrapped around his dripping cock as he stroked himself.
Hyunjin was loud and sloppy, constantly moaning into you like he was enjoying this even more than you did.
Your juices mixed with his saliva dripped down his chin while he kept eating you out like a man starved, like your pussy is the best meal he’s ever had.
“I’m gonna cum!” you whimpered, grinding against his face, his nose pressing perfectly into your clit.
“Cum in my mouth baby, please!” Hyunjin whined and you shook as your orgasm washed over you, spilling on his tongue and chin.
“Mm.” he moaned and licked you up.
“Bed. Now.” he stood up, wiping his chin with the back of his hand and it took you a moment to realize he was completely naked.
“Oh.” you stared at his dick, salivating at the thought of having him inside you, he was so long and pretty, curved just a little, his tip red and dripping with pre cum.
He was perfect, and you needed him in any way you could get him.
“Princess.” Hyunjin chuckled at your obvious drooling.
He was growing impatient so he scooped you up before you could protest, getting rid of your bra in the process.
“I need to have you right now.” he rasped, throwing you on the bed and quickly turning you on all fours as he climbed over you and pressed you into the mattress.
You whimpered pathetically as he held you down with one hand to your back, your pussy dripping and clenching around nothing, waiting to be filled up to the brim.
“Oh. Teddy.” Hyunjin noticed his friend still chilling on your bed. “This is not for your eyes.” he grabbed the bear and stood up, putting it in the chair and turning him around.
“Sorry, son.” he added as you stared up at him from the bed and chuckled.
“He can still hear us, you know.” you said as Hyunjin climbed back up on top of you.
“Mm, I hope everyone does. Don’t want you holdin’ back. I want you to be as loud as you can.” Hyunjin smirked above you, lifting your middle up and snaking his hand around to play with your sensitive clit.
“Yeah? Then fuck me as hard as you can, Hyunjin.” you moaned, pushing back into him, trying to get him closer.
“I hope you know what you’re asking for.”
You felt the tip of his cock prodding at you and you gasped as he slowly pushed in, the tip breaching your entrance and spreading you to take him.
“Oh my god, fuck!” you moaned as he gripped your hips and kept stretching you, pushing more and more in until he bottomed out, his cock finding a warm home inside your clenching pussy.
“You’re so tight, baby.” his eyes rolled back as he pulled out to the tip, then pushed back into you harshly, making you whimper loudly as you fisted the sheets beneath you.
“Yeah.” he moaned as he started fucking you with a semi-fast pace immediately, his hand coming up to push your face into the mattress.
“Fuck yeah, take it. Take it like a good slut.” Hyunjin groaned as you whimpered and gasped while he rocked his hips into you hard.
“H-Hyunjin, ah!” you whimpered when his tip hit the spot and he angled his hips to keep hitting into it hard, the sound of skin slapping skin filling up the room together with the sounds your pussy was making while he kept stuffing you with his cock.
You couldn’t even hold on and you collapsed down as Hyunjin kept fucking you harshly into the mattress, pulling on your hair and giving you a few harsh spanks that made your ass red instantly.
You kept babbling nonsense as he fucked you like a mad man, gripping your breasts or your waist, his hands couldn’t decide where to stay ‘cause he wanted all of you.
Your orgasm shook your whole body, from your head to your toes as you creamed around his throbbing cock for what seemed like the longest time, your pleasure kept prolonging as he brushed against your spot constantly.
Hyunjin smacked your ass again, a dark chuckle escaping his lips as you whimpered.
“Fuck, she’s trying to milk me, isn’t she? You want that, baby? You want my cum?”
“Y-yes, I want it!” you whined.
“Yeah? Do you really want it?” Hyunjin smirked, teasing you, the annoying bastard.
“Yes I do!” you moaned as he kept his pace, the weight of his body pressing you down as his breath hit your cheek.
“Beg for it, darling.” he whispered in your ear and you groaned in annoyance, your fingers digging into the bed.
You bit on your lip, trying to disobey him as much as you could and he chuckled darkly, grabbing your hands and pinning your wrists on your lower back.
“You don’t like the way the tables have turned, hm? I don’t hear you begging. Do you want me to stop?” Hyunjin slowed down, his free hand traveling down your thigh and then back up towards your waist, making you shiver.
“P-please…” you whimpered quietly, losing your mind and dignity.
“Please what, princess?”
“P-please… Cum inside me, Hyunjin.” you moaned and he chuckled again, picking up speed as he released your hands only to grip your hips.
You were almost screaming from the strength he was fucking you with, his hips stuttering as he dug his nails into your flesh.
“Louder baby, louder.” he groaned, you could feel droplets of his sweat falling down and hitting your back.
You moaned louder and you were sure people could hear you outside but you didn’t care as you came around his length again, moments later Hyunjin finally exploded inside you, filling you up with his warm cum.
“Fuck, y/n…” he whimpered as he shook above you, pulling out as his arms wrapped around you.
He held you for a few quiet minutes while both of you were trying to catch your breath and calm down.
He left little kisses on your shoulder as your brain became less foggy and the reality of what happened between you settled in, making your heart skip a beat and then continue to beat fast.
Hyunjin finally rolled over and got up and you laid still, feeling a little embarrassed and self-conscious.
You remembered swearing to yourself once that you’d never sleep with him or have any kind of relationship with someone who seemingly never takes any of those things seriously but here you were.
At least you could admit to yourself that he was the best fuck you ever had.
Hyunjin came back with a warm wet cloth and a water bottle.
“Let me clean you up.” he said and you looked up at him. “You okay?”
“Yeah, I’m okay.” you answered dismissively and Hyunjin raised his eyebrow.
“Drink some water.” he said as you sat up.
God, he was more beautiful than ever.
His hair disheveled, his body sweaty and on display for you, a loopy smile on his face as he sat there naked, vulnerable, yours.
“You wanna shower together?” he asked as you put the bottle down.
“You know this changes everything between us?” you ignored his question and his smile fell.
“Of course I do.” he touched your cheek, leaning in to kiss you.
His lips were addicting and you couldn’t push him away.
“Now let’s get in that shower.”
-
“Hyunjin. Y/n. Come to my room this instant.” Anthony sounded furious when he called you, just as you were eating some breakfast you had ordered after the shower.
“Can we at least finish eating?” Hyunjin whined with his mouth full, his lips pouty.
“Now!” Anthony yelled, making Hyunjin jolt as you looked at him with wide eyes.
“Y’all are in big trouble!” you heard Aiden yell in the background.
“We’ll be right there.” you said and Anthony hung up.
“Wow, he sounds really mad.” Hyunjin frowned.
“Let’s go find out what we did.”
Anthony’s room wasn’t too far from yours and you were there in a matter of minutes.
“You two!” Anthony looked like he was fuming, smoke coming out of his ears, his face bright red as his chest rose up and down deeply.
Ana stood behind him like an angry mother, her hands on her hips as she tapped her foot.
Aiden and Brendon were sitting on the bed, looking sulky.
“What is going on?” you asked.
“Have you two lost your fucking mind?!” Anthony seethed.
“What did we do?!” Hyunjin’s tone got defensive immediately.
“They didn’t even look at social media.” Ana shook her head.
“This is what you did!” Anthony gave you his phone and you gasped when you saw it.
Someone was on the balcony above the hotel pool last night, taking pictures of you and Hyunjin.
There were hundreds of articles, even a video circling the net where the two of you were going at it, making out passionately and touching each other.
The only lucky thing was that the guy didn’t manage to get any audio.
You quickly grabbed your phone and saw that you had millions of tags on the pics and comments people left on your posts.
Most of them were hate comments directed towards you, calling you a whore and lots of other endearing names, others were of horny people saying that Hyunjin was a lucky bastard getting to fuck someone like you.
They were all demeaning comments, even the ones that seemed to be on ‘your side’.
Your eyes welled up with tears as you started panicking.
Hyunjin looked furious.
“Who is this guy? Is he still in the hotel? ‘Cause if he is, my friends here,” he lifted his fists. “,will come pay him a nice fucking visit.”
“There’s no point, Hyunjin. It’s already done. This could damage the band, it’s practically a sex tape.” Ana said.
“I don’t feel so good.” you quickly sat down on the sofa and Hyunjin was on your side immediately.
“Fuck, this is my fault!” he said frustratingly. “I made you come to the pool with me. I should’ve never done that.”
“You couldn’t predict this Jinnie, it’s not your fault. At least your shoulders were covering up my tits.” you shrugged, swallowing your tears.
Hyunjin smiled at you as you looked up at him.
“Something funny?” you asked.
“No, you just called me Jinnie.” he swooned, his arm wrapping around you.
“Ew, get a room.” Brendon acted like he was throwing up.
“Shut up.” Hyunjin warned his bandmate before looking back at you.
“I knew I’d get under your skin one day.” he whispered in your ear, smirking as he nosed your cheek before pressing a kiss to it.
“Yeah, yeah. That really ended up biting me in the ass.” you rolled your eyes, shivering a little.
“Okay, do that later. We need to figure out what to do about this!” Anthony said.
“Nothing.” Hyunjin shrugged. “I don’t care about it. They didn’t see anything they shouldn’t have. In those pics and videos you can only see my back and the side of y/n’s face. Nothing I’m worried about. I don’t care if they know about us getting together. They’d find out eventually anyways. I’m just glad they didn’t see what’s for my eyes only.” he smirked at you and you smacked his arm annoyingly.
“Is it now?”
“Yes, it is.” he nodded.
“What do you think, y/n?” Ana asked.
“I agree with Hyunjin to an extent. Lots of celebs had scandals like this and nothing happened to them. I mean, we can still continue with our tour normally, right?”
“Well, we have to. The next show is in 6 hours.” Anthony sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Just don’t do this shit again. I will deal with the guy who took these and everything else. The four of you just focus on the show tonight and no more fucking in public places.”
“Is that a challenge?” Hyunjin smirked and you smacked him again.
“Ow!” he whined and you rolled your eyes.
You were still trying to process that all your fans have seen you kissing Hyunjin.
-
It was almost time for the show and Hyunjin insisted on getting ready in your room, dragging his luggage there.
Ever since last night, you couldn’t pry him off of you.
Currently, he was sitting on your bed shirtless, all of his makeup and skincare products thrown haphazardly in front of him as he rummaged through them.
You quickly grabbed your phone, taking a few pics of his cute pouty thinking face as he sifted through his eyeshadows.
You pressed play on your phone, now filming a video.
You zoomed in on his face and snorted.
“Here we can see the last brain cell of Hwang Hyunjin trying to plan out a suitable makeup look for the show tonight.” you said and he looked up, his face breaking into a smile.
“And here we can witness the last brain cell of y/n l/n focusing so hard on me.” he said into the camera, puffing his chest out.
“Riiiiight.” you zoomed in on his nipples.
“Are you filming my tits?” he asked, chuckling.
“Maybe.” you smirked at him.
“And I’m the deviant one. Can you believe this teddy?” he looked at his plush friend who was chilling on the bed next to him.
You turned the camera to the bear as Hyunjin grabbed its head and shook it left and right in disapproval.
You turned it off with a giggle, putting your phone aside as you stood up and made your way towards the bed.
Hyunjin looked up at you as you neared him.
You sat behind him, your hands on his back instantly.
“What are you thinking of doing?” you asked, lips pressing into his flower tattoos.
“I’m thinking you’re gonna make me hard again if you keep touching me.” he looked back at you.
“Are you that easy?” you smirked as you kept kissing him tentatively, your hands on his waist, caressing him.
“For you, definitely.” he said, grabbing a small eyeshadow palette.
“Good to know.” you smirked as you kept kissing him, your hands roaming on his abs.
“Do you think I should get a belly button piercing?” he asked as you touched him, your fingers dipping down to his happy trail as you played with it, making him shiver.
“Why not? It would look sexy on you.” you answered, moving his hair to the side so you could attach your lips to his neck.
“You really want to distract me, huh?” he let out a breath, trying to get his smoky eye look right while you teased him.
“Mhm.” you kept kissing, licking and biting on him while he put his makeup on.
“Shit!” he exclaimed, jolting as your hand snaked down to palm his growing bulge.
“I almost poked my eye out!” he whined, but still leaned into you.
“Shh. Concentrate.” you smirked against his skin, your hand traveling into his pants as you gripped him.
“Naughty girl.” he smirked, looking at your lustful expression in the mirror he held up while finishing up his look.
“Oh yes.” you grinned, taking his cock out and stroking him.
“Y/n.” Hyunjin whined. “W-what do you think?” he turned a little, showing you his finished look as you played with his slit.
“Pretty.” you smirked, your other hand caressing his thigh before you grabbed his balls unexpectedly.
“Ah!” he moaned, leaning back into you as he tossed the eyeshadow palette aside.
You sped up and Hyunjin gave in so easily that you were impressed, he was completely putty in your embrace, letting you have your way with him.
“Wait! Turn my son around, please.” he said and you chuckled, squeezing him and earning a groan from him.
“He can’t see anyways. My back is turned towards him.” you looked back at the teddy as your hand traveled up to Hyunjin’s nipples, playing with them as you continued stroking him.
“O-okay.” he moaned, lifting up and fucking into your hand.
“You like it, hm?” you nibbled on his ear as he thrashed against you.
“Y-yeah. Don’t stop, oh my god!” he grunted, gripping at your thighs as you pressed into his back, your legs wrapped around him, your hand skillfully playing with his throbbing cock.
“You wanna cum, Jinnie?” you giggled.
“Yes, please.”
“You’re cute when you beg.” you bit on his neck.
“Shut up!” he groaned but continued fucking up into your hand, desperately chasing his high.
You laughed, licking at the new bruise you created on his neck as you doubled your efforts.
Hyunjin mewled, his legs trembling as you jerked him off fast, flicking your wrist.
“Fuck!” he groaned as he dug his nails into your thighs, his length twitching in your hold, as he spilled all over your hand and his stomach.
You chuckled, kissing his cheek and jawline.
“That was unexpected and hot.” he looked back at you and you shrugged.
“What can I say, I’m full of surprises like that.” smirking, you got up.
“Well get dressed, we’re on in less than an hour.” you said smugly, enjoying the way you had Hyunjin literally in the palm of your hand.
“Already?! Fuck!” he got up, running to the bathroom looking silly and almost tripping over his sweatpants as you laughed at him.
“Laugh now, until I get back at you, darling!” he yelled out.
“Can’t wait!” you shook your head with a smile, packing the rest of your stuff.
Everyone gathered at the bus, the roadies helping with putting your stuff back in as they had already unloaded everything needed for the venue.
Hyunjin grabbed your wrist, scaring you for a moment as you were looking at your phone.
“What?” you looked up at him, seeing his mischievous expression.
“Come here for a sec.” he led you away, tucking both of you behind the parked bus.
“Wha-” he stopped you as he cupped your face and pressed his lips against yours.
You melted into him, wrapping your hands around his waist, bringing him closer as your bodies pressed together.
“Our good luck kiss.” he said when you parted.
“Sure.” you giggled, kissing him once again. “Let’s go before they get mad at us.” you added.
“Just so you know…” his hand traveled down as he cupped your pussy through your pants, making you gasp in shock as you gripped at his shoulders.
“I will have my way with you later.” he smirked, kissing your forehead like he wasn’t saying nasty shit to you.
“If I let you.” you pushed him a little but he just chuckled.
“Oh, you’ll be begging for it, sweetheart.”
-
The show was fun and crazy like always, the fans that were there didn’t seem to care about the ‘sex tape’ scandal, everyone was enjoying the performance.
Hyunjin was even more energetic than usual, jumping up and down, dancing, screaming and doing all sorts of crazy shit.
He made a point of looking back at you multiple times with the biggest smile on his face.
In the middle of the performance, Hyunjin took his tanktop off as it was clinging to his sweaty body and getting in the way, so he tossed it into the audience and people almost beat each other up to grab it.
You smirked to yourself, they may have his sweaty shirt but you had all of him last night.
Hyunjin flirted with the fans of course, this time coming down closer to them and letting them touch him.
You would lie if you said it didn’t make you mad, you were realizing it just then; you wanted Hyunjin all to yourself.
Your mind managed to spiral even on stage while you played the familiar grooves automatically, and flashes of Hyunjin with different girls ran through your mind.
What if this was just a fling?
What if he didn’t look at this seriously?
You didn’t want to fall for him but in your mind you knew it was already too late.
You hoped he wasn’t just using you because having your heart broken for what feels like the hundredth time in your life isn’t something you’d want to go through again.
Especially not with him.
When the show ended and you ran backstage, Hyunjin wrapped his arms around your waist and lifted you up, spinning you around as you squealed.
“Put me down, I’m gonna puke!” you whined, feeling dizzy.
He put you down before crashing his lips against yours.
“I want you so bad right now.” he muttered against your lips as you touched his chest.
“You should wash off the fans’ handprints first.” you pushed him and he chuckled.
“Aw, are you jealous?” he grinned.
“No, you’re just gross.”
“Liar. You’re so jealous.”
“Am not.”
“Don’t worry, baby. I’m all yours.” he smirked.
“Sure.” you said and Hyunjin frowned, pursing his lips.
“Let’s go party, assholes!” Aiden appeared, all giddy from the show, stopping Hyunjin mid-thought.
“Yeah, and put on a shirt, Hwang!” Brendon winked with a smirk.
You were dragged to an exclusive afterparty without your consent but you were thirsty anyways so you ordered a beer.
During the evening as you mingled, you lost sight of Hyunjin.
“Where’s Hyunjin?” you asked Aiden as he joined you at the bar.
“Beats me.” he shrugged.
You were about to look for him when he walked in, stumbling as some random girl held onto his wrists.
“What the hell?” you muttered, anger overtaking you instantly.
She was all over him, and you noticed he was trying to push her away but was too drunk.
You made your way towards them when suddenly she slapped him across the face and you gasped, boiling with anger.
“Hey, bitch.” you said as you stood next to Hyunjin and her eyes widened when she saw you.
“Y/n! You’re here!” Hyunjin clung onto you immediately, his face dazed.
You ignored him as you lifted your hand up, dealing a strong slap to the girl’s face.
She gasped, holding onto her cheek as she almost tripped over her feet.
“Touch him again and I’ll break your fake nose.”
“Woah!” Hyunjin stumbled as he held onto your arm. “She’s serious, I wouldn’t mess with her.” he said to the girl who quickly scrambled away.
“Baby. You defended me.” he pouted at you, trying to kiss you.
“Oh my god, Hyunjin. You’re shitfaced. Come on, we’re leaving, you need some air.” you led him out, quickly telling Aiden you’ll be by the bus.
“Why did she even slap you?”
“I might’ve called her a whore?” he grimaced. “She tried to kiss me and I said no! I have a girlfriend! I meant you.”
“Yes, I understand Hyunjin.” you shook your head, your face heating up.
“That was so hot how you slapped her.” Hyunjin nuzzled into you as he hugged you from the back while you were trying to unlock the bus door so you could find a water bottle for him.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm. My cheek hurts though. Will you kiss it better?” he asked, burying his face into your hair.
“Sure. As soon as you sober up a little.” you said, finally opening the door as the two of you climbed in.
“You know what else hurts?” Hyunjin smirked, leaning on the table and almost falling down.
“What?” you raised your eyebrow, grabbing a water bottle out of the fridge.
“My dick.” he grinned.
“Just shut up and drink some water.” you shoved the water in his hand as he giggled.
You were annoyed, wondering if you were overthinking things and Hyunjin acting all nonchalant made you feel even more angry.
That kind of attitude he always had bugged you, it seemed as if he took everything in stride, as if he wasn’t afraid of losing anything, as if he took nothing seriously, like nothing mattered to him other than himself.
“What’s wrong?” he pouted, trying to hug you.
And you hated how he could read you like a book.
“Nothing. We’ll talk when you’re sober.” you said, folding your arms on your chest.
“Are you mad at me?” he swallowed.
“I don’t know.” you shrugged.
“You don’t know?” he tilted his head as you avoided his eyes.
“I’m mad at myself.”
“Why?”
“Because… Just because.” you shook your head. “I don’t wanna get into it.”
“Is it because of the girl?” he looked at you confusedly.
“No Hyunjin, it’s because of all the girls. The way you act like it means nothing to you so whatever this is between us probably doesn’t matter to you either. You only look to satisfy yourself, not caring about hurting someone else’s feelings. And frankly, I can’t deal with that. I can’t believe I’m saying this to you but I want something real, I don’t want to be used for your pleasure and then thrown away like I was just one of your little groupies.” you couldn’t stop talking, a weight lifting off of your chest.
“Is that all you think of me? That I’m so shallow and conceited?” he asked, seemingly sobered up all of a sudden.
“I’ve never seen proof of the opposite.”
“Fuck then let me prove it to you! Of course I care about your feelings, y/n and I never looked at you as one of those groupies. I don’t need anyone but you and this means everything to me.” he shook his head.
“What?” you were in disbelief, Hyunjin had never sounded so serious before.
“There you are.” Ana came in, followed by the rest of the gang, and you leaned away from Hyunjin.
“I’m gonna go shower.” you used the situation to slip away.
Your thoughts were racing as you stood under the warm water.
Was he telling the truth?
You went through a rollercoaster of emotions, too exhausted to think after the whole day.
You laid in your bunk as everyone settled in to sleep after showering and eating some dinner.
It didn’t take long for Hyunjin to climb up.
“Hey.” he whispered as you sat, expecting him to show up.
“Hey.” you said and he smiled.
“So, are you gonna give me a chance?” he bit on his lip, playing with his lip ring nervously.
You sighed, studying his expression.
He looked sincere, scared even, his eyes becoming big as he pleaded.
“Okay.” you said and he chuckled.
“Yes!” he exclaimed.
“Shh. You’ll wake everyone up. And don’t fucking waste this chance, Hyunjin. Because it’s the only one you’ll get.” you warned him as he crawled closer to you.
“I promise I’ll make the best of it.” he said, leaning in to kiss you.
You didn’t even realize how much you missed his kisses, when it has been hours since you last felt his sweet lips on yours.
“Remember what I said earlier?” he smirked, lowering his voice as his hands massaged your thighs.
“Mm?” you mirrored his smirk, pretending to be clueless.
“I’m gonna have my way with you now.” he grabbed you, pulling you to lay under him as you gasped in surprise.
Hyunjin’s fingers trailed up your thigh with feather-like touches up your already dripping pussy.
He ran his fingertips over your clothed folds, drawing a deep breath from you.
“I took off my rings.” he whispered, wiggling his fingers.
“I can see that.” you whispered back as he found your clit, pressing into it and touching you teasingly, slowly.
 He kept smirking at you smugly as he hooked his fingers into your shorts, pulling them down with your panties, noticing you wore lacy ones under your pjs.
“Cute panties. Shame they came off too soon.” he giggled as you lightly slapped his arm, your face becoming red in embarrassment.
“I’m keeping them.” he said, putting them aside as you rolled your eyes with a smirk.
Hyunjin leaned over you, his face inches away from you as his lips hovered over yours.
“You have to be a good girl and keep quiet. Can you do that, princess?” he said, his fingers back on your clit as he started massaging it in circles, making you arch your back towards him.
“Y-yeah.” you whispered, your eyes fluttering.
“If you make a sound, I will stop.” Hyunjin gave you that famous shit eating grin.
“No, I’ll be quiet!” you whispered.
“Good. Now shut up, darling.” he said with a smirk, his fingers teasing your folds.
You bit on your lip as he teased you, playing with your clit as he pinched it occasionally, almost making you moan.
He was enjoying how wet you were getting as he concentrated on your sensitive nub, his other hand traveling beneath your shirt to play with your breasts.
“You look so cute like this.” he said and you wanted to slap him for the condescending tone he used, but at the same time your pussy clenched, a gush of arousal dripping out of you.
“You know why?” he added as he observed you, his fingers dipping between your wet folds as he teased you.
You shook your head no.
“Because only I get to see you like this. Only I get to unravel you, sweetheart.” he looked at you lustfully as he slowly pushed his fingers in, making you gasp as your legs trembled for a moment.
Your pussy sucked two of his fingers right in as he chuckled under his breath.
“You take me so well.” he bit on his lip as he slowly moved his fingers, massaging your inner walls.
“Ngh.” you moaned, pushing up into his hand, begging for more, deeper, faster.
“Sweet girl.” he whispered, leaning in to kiss your jawline and neck.
You melted, your legs opening up completely for him as he fucked into you a bit faster, curling his fingers to find that spot.
“Look at you.” he pinched your nipple and you swallowed a moan. “So giving.” Hyunjin chuckled darkly as your legs shook.
He sped up, finding that spot and making you moan quietly as you bit on your lip hard.
“Am I making it difficult for you?”
The fucking bastard.
“Answer me.” he said sternly and you whimpered.
“Yes, you are.” you said and Hyunjin chuckled.
“Good.”
The bunk bed filled up with sounds of your wet pussy as you dripped all over his hand, your entire body was trembling, your heart beating fast as your eyes rolled in the back of your head, you’ve never been this aroused in your life.
“T-they’re gonna hear…” you whimpered silently as Hyunjin kept abusing your pussy with his fingers, pistoning them into your heat as you clenched around him, trying to ignore the enormous pressure building up inside you.
“Oh yes, they are. They’ll hear what a filthy slut you are for me. They’ll hear your little pussy sucking my fingers in. You’re so nasty, baby.” he fucked you even harder as you gasped.
“F-fuck! I-I can’t…” you thrashed against the bed, tears gathering in your eyes as you tried to squeeze your legs around his arm involuntarily.
“Come on, let go for me.” he looked smug as he fucked you fast, his eyes full of lust.
You almost cried out, biting on your lower lip hard, drawing blood as the metallic taste filled up your mouth, making your mind float.
“God, you really want to edge yourself.” he smirked.
Tears slid down your cheeks as you trembled violently and you bit down on your arm, finally not being able to hold in anymore as you exploded, squirting all over your thighs and Hyunjin’s hand as he fucked you through your orgasm, his other hand abusing your sensitive clit.
“That’s my good girl. I’m proud of you.” he pulled his fingers out as you gasped, watching him as he licked at his hand.
You were in shock, never having finished this violently that the muscles in your legs were cramping, never has a man managed to make you squirt.
“Y/n?” Hyunjin leaned over you, wiping your tears.
“I-I never squirted before.” you admitted and Hyunjin smiled proudly.
“Really?” he looked excited suddenly and you chuckled.
“Really.” you nodded.
“Well, I’m gonna make you squirt again.” he smirked and you looked down, realizing he was stroking himself.
You had no idea when he took his pants off.
“Mhm.” you wrapped your legs around him.
“Mm. So wet.” he pressed his tip against you, massaging your folds with it.
“Just put it in.” you gripped at him and he smiled, burying his face in your neck.
“A little needy, I see.” he said and you made your point by bringing him closer with your legs so that his tip slipped inside you, making him moan into your skin quietly.
“You’re just as needy for me.” you tangled your hand in his soft hair, inhaling his shampoo, your other hand caressing his back as he pushed his cock inside you slowly, bottoming out as you gasped quietly.
“I am.” he said, kissing your neck as he started rocking his hips into you, his hands gripping your waist.
“I’m not gonna last long. Watching you squirt for me almost made me cum.”
“Mm, it’s okay, Jinnie.” you wrapped your arms around him as he whimpered quietly into your skin.
“Say that again.” he nibbled at your ear, rutting into you desperately.
“What, Jinnie?”
“Yeah.” his cock was hitting all the right spots inside you, the pressure you felt before building up quickly again.
You dug your nails into his shoulders and he hissed, biting on your neck, his hand on your hip and the other on your breast as he squeezed it.
“Jinnie. My Jinnie.” you whined quietly and he groaned as the bed started creaking, now it was more than obvious what you were doing.
“Fuck, tell me I’m yours.” Hyunjin moaned, grabbing your wrists and pinning them on either side of your head as his hips snapped into yours, his pubic hair brushing against your clit deliciously, adding more friction to your sensitive parts.
“You’re mine, Hyunjin. All mine.” you moaned and he kissed you sloppily as you clenched around his cock.
“I’m all yours, princess.” he pressed his forehead against yours and you whimpered, exploding around him as you squirted again, your nails drawing blood on his back.
“Shit!” Hyunjin’s entire body trembled as he pushed deeper inside you, his cock twitching as he filled you up with spurts of hot cum.
“Mm.” you moaned.
“Take it all, baby. Milk me dry.” he groaned as your eyes filled up with tears of pleasure and you came once again, squeezing around his length, forcing him to spill every little drop he had inside you.
“Fuck.” Hyunjin collapsed on top of you, both of you wet and sweaty as you wrapped around each other.
“You think they heard?” you asked after some time and Hyunjin lifted up to look at you, caressing your face.
“Oh yeah, definitely.” he smirked.
“Bastard.” you squinted your eyes with a smile as he giggled.
“You can call me anything you want as long as you keep calling me yours.” he said, kissing your lips gently.
“I take it this is your way of asking me to be your girlfriend?” you asked, carding your fingers through his damp hair.
“I don’t have to ask, baby. You’re already mine.” he bit on his lip, his eyes filling up with lust again.
He was going to drive you crazy and you loved it.
-
The next morning as Hyunjin and you walked into the living area of the bus, everyone looked up at you with knowing smirks.
“Oh, Jinnie, ah!” Aiden started moaning so Hyunjin came up to him and smacked the back of his head.
“Shut up, dickhead.” Hyunjin said as your face heated up.
“So, are you guys like together now?” Brendon asked.
“Yes, we are.” you answered, pouring yourself some coffee.
“Finally! Y’all owe me 20 bucks each!” Brendon said as everyone around the table groaned.
“You bet on us getting together?”
“We all bet on when you are going to get together. I was the closest.” he smirked as you shook your head.
Hyunjin ignored them, pulling you to sit in his lap.
“You two are gonna be disgusting all the time now.” Aiden scrunched his face up.
“You’re just jealous.” Hyunjin smirked at his friend, pulling you flush against his back as you sipped on your coffee.
“Yeah, I am.” Aiden sighed. “Oh, now we have two couples here.” he added and everyone looked at Ana and Anthony who were quiet almost the whole time.
“Oh I knew there was something there.” you chuckled.
“Well… seems like we’re still single.” Brendon winked at Aiden, his hand on Aiden’s thigh as he leaned in, making an exaggerated kissy face at him.
“Ew, get away from me!” Aiden pushed him as everyone laughed.
“Gimme a sip.” Hyunjin leaned on your shoulder, pursing his lips as he looked at your coffee cup.
You giggled, turning on his lap a little as you gave him your coffee.
The bus parked in the designated place as Stu joined you.
“I’m not even gonna ask.” he looked at the two of you.
“By the way, I have something for you.” Hyunjin whispered, kissing your shoulder as everyone got back to scrolling on their phones or conversing.
“Oh yeah? What is it?”
“Come, I’ll show you outside. Bring the coffee.” he nudged you with his leg and you squealed, getting up.
The two of you sat nearby, as Hyunjin pulled out his cigarettes.
“Want one?” he asked.
“We can share.” you shrugged and he smiled, lighting it up.
He puffed out the smoke then took a sip of coffee.
“So, what did you want to show me?”
“You know how I have a favorite guitar pick? My lucky red one, I always play with it?” he started.
“Yes, what about it?” you asked, curiously tilting your head.
He reached into his pocket, smiling as his cheeks became rosy.
“I made it into a necklace for you.”
“Oh.” your heart skipped a beat, you were touched. “When did you do that?”
“Well, after that night I slept over in your bunk bed for the first time.” Hyunjin admitted, looking at his feet.
“Woah. Then?” you were shocked at the revelation.
“Yeah, I knew you’d be mine before the end of the tour.” he smirked.
“Did you now?” you asked, grabbing the cigarette from his hand.
“It was my mission to annoy you so much that you finally cave.” he wiggled his eyebrows and you puffed the smoke out into his face.
“Well, it worked.” you said.
“I’m glad it did.” he motioned for you to turn around so he could put the necklace on you.
“Thank you, this is really sweet.” you said as you played with it.
“No need to thank me. I, ugh, also wanna tell you something.” he added and you nodded.
“Are you aware that you inspired almost all of my songs? So, it’s kinda funny that you’re playing songs that are actually about you.” he said and you choked on the coffee as you started coughing.
“Shit, are you okay?” he quickly tapped your back with his hand.
“Some of the songs are years old…” you said as he cautiously took the cigarette from between your fingers and brought it to his lips.
“Mhm.” he nodded, looking at you as you processed the information.
“You… always liked me?” you frowned and Hyunjin nodded.
“But why did you bug me like that all the time, making me think you hate me?” you asked.
“This is gonna sound like a bunch of bullshit. But you seemed to hate me from the day we met and I was scared of you. I thought if I ever tried to approach you normally you’d spit in my face and tell me to fuck off.”
“You’re right. That does sound like a bunch of bullshit.” you looked at him annoyingly as you pinched his arm hard, making him yelp.
“What was that for?!” he whimpered.
“For being an idiot.” you said and he whined.
“What did I do now?”
“I liked you right away, Hyunjin. But I saw how you treated Macy, and concluded that you were just some pretty heartless bastard who played with girls like they’re toys so I decided to hate you so I’d stop liking you.”
“Who’s Macy?” he looked at you confusedly and you pinched him again.
“Ow!” he yelped, rubbing at his arm.
“The girl you dated back then? The curly blonde who worked in the company?”
“Oh, I forgot her name. We only hooked up like four times. It meant nothing to me- ow!” you pinched his arm again.
“Stop with the abuse!” he whined and you chuckled.
“See, that is exactly what I was talking about.” you scolded him and he pouted.
“I know you just called me a heartless bastard but you also called me pretty so I’m gonna ignore the rest.” he said, making a weird face as he leaned away from you.
“What are you doing?” you gave him the elevator eyes.
“Trying not to get pinched again?” he answered and you let out a laugh.
“I’m sorry, I won’t do it again.” you said and he squinted at you.
“Look, I promise!” you lifted your hands up in surrender.
Hyunjin exhaled, chuckling as he moved the coffee cup aside and scooted closer to you, wrapping his arm around you.
“I promise I know your name.” he teased.
“Hyunjin!” you smacked his chest, laughing as he chuckled, pulling you into a hug.
“In all seriousness, I plan on being totally devoted to you.” he said, kissing your cheek. “You’re my ride or die.”
“I like that.” you smiled, your heart leaping out of your chest as butterflies swarmed in your stomach.
“Me too.” Hyunjin leaned in, kissing you passionately as you almost climbed into his lap.
“Save that for later, we need to practice!” Brendon yelled suddenly and the two of you parted, seeing everyone piled up on the windows, staring at you.
“Nosy bastards.” you chuckled fondly as Hyunjin pecked your lips.
“Come on, we gotta rock the stage tonight.” he got up, reaching his hand towards you.
You knew tonight was going to be completely different.
And it was.
You listened to the lyrics carefully, realizing that Hyunjin had really been singing about you this whole time and you were clueless, thinking he was writing songs about his little groupies or the girls he hooked up with, but there was only one girl who was his muse and it was you.
-
It was quiet in the bus the next morning, the end of the tour was near so  Hyunjin and you decided to take some time to chill in the back of the vehicle.
There was a big bed there, and when your friends saw the two of you leaving to the ‘fuck room’ as the called it, they decided to disperse away, with Aiden yelling ‘Don’t forget to change the sheets!’ as he left.
You were enjoying a peaceful moment, Hyunjin sitting on the bed with his guitar as he picked at it absentmindedly, playing random melodies.
You were looking up tattoo designs, thinking that it was finally time to get one of your own.
Hyunjin’s playing soothed you and you were lulled into a calm state until he started playing a familiar melody, making you jolt.
You turned to look at him and he grinned at you.
Hyunjin was playing your warm up song, the one you wrote when you were little.
“H-how did you-” you started and he chuckled.
“You think I never paid attention to you?” he licked his lip as he continued playing.
“Stalker.” you smiled, your face heating up.
“A romantic stalker.” he snickered and you shook your head at him.
He smiled at you fondly, suddenly singing the lyrics.
You couldn’t believe he knew the song by heart, it almost made your eyes tear up so you turned away from him.
Hyunjin stopped playing and you felt the bed shift before he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you against him.
“I’m sorry if I upset you.” he whispered, peppering your cheek and jaw with kisses.
“No, I was touched. That song means a lot to me.” you said as Hyunjin squeezed you tighter.
“I know, baby.” he said, dragging his bottom lip on your skin, his lip ring brushing against you and making you shiver.
“Are you looking up tattoo designs?” Hyunjin peered over your shoulder, leaning his chin on it.
“Yeah, but I can’t find a perfect one.”
“I can sketch one for you.” he said and you looked back at him.
“You’d do that?” you asked and he nodded with a smile.
“Of course! We could even get matching tattoos.” he smirked.
“You do know those are forever?” you bit on your lip and Hyunjin’s cheeks flushed.
“Yeah, I know.”
You searched his eyes for a moment before turning towards him and crashing your lips into his.
Hyunjin moaned against you as you kissed him desperately, your tongue playing with his lip ring shortly before you pushed it into his mouth.
Hyunjin’s eyes rolled back as you gripped his hair, pulling his head back harshly.
He groaned, grabbing at your waist and you pressed your middle into his, grinding against him instantly.
“B-baby…” he whimpered against your lips as you felt him grow under you.
“Jinnie.” you smirked, your lips on his jaw and neck as you slid your arms under his shirt, caressing his abs.
Hyunjin let out the most delicious moans as you kissed him and touched him, every little sound made more arousal gather on your panties.
He chased your lips when you looked up at him but you pressed your palms on his chest, pushing him down on the bed as he fell with a thud, his arms on either side of his head.
He smirked at you as you tugged at his clothes.
“Princess, are you needy for me?” he asked, his voice raspy and eyes lustful as you practically ripped his pants off.
“Shut up Hyunjin. I’m gonna use you.” you smirked, taking his shirt off.
“Use me however you want, baby. It’s all yours - ah!” he whined when you slid his boxers down, grabbing his cock and playing with it, teasing his slit with your thumb as you slid down.
“Y/n…” Hyunjin gasped when your breath hit his navel.
You didn’t answer, you were too busy as you licked a stripe on his length, following the vein all the way to the tip where you played with his slit.
“Oh my god!” Hyunjin groaned.
You giggled, your eyes crazed with lust as you spit on his cock, jerking off only his tip and Hyunjin’s legs trembled for a moment.
“Fuck, you’re so nasty baby.” he hissed.
“Am I?” you leaned in closer, teasing his tip with your tongue again.
“Stop teasing me.” Hyunjin already sounded breathless.
“Or what?” you smirked before wrapping your lips around him as you started sucking him off fast instantly, like he was the tastiest lollipop and Hyunjin jolted, moaning loudly.
“Shit!” he exclaimed as you sucked him off like no tomorrow, quickly swallowing his entire length as your nose pressed into his pubic hair, the tip of his cock hitting the back of your throat and making you gag around him.
Hyunjin gathered your hair into a makeshift ponytail as you gripped his thighs, bracing yourself while you sucked him dry.
“Such a nasty slut. Drooling all over my dick. You like choking on it, hm?” he smirked and you moaned around him, your pussy begging for attention.
Hyunjin whined, his head hitting the pillow as he fucked up into your mouth.
Just as you felt that he was close, you quickly pulled off when he least expected it.
“Why’d you stop?” he almost cried out but stopped himself as you started stripping.
“I’m gonna ride you.” you said and he chuckled.
“Do what you want with me.” he gripped onto your hips as you adjusted above him, grabbing his cock and running the tip on your folds.
You slid down, taking all of him in as both of you moaned at the feeling.
“Mm, so warm and wet baby.” Hyunjin pushed up into you immediately. “I need you, y/n. Please fuck me.”
He looked so desperate after you edged him with your mouth and you enjoyed seeing him like that, falling apart for you, his hair splayed everywhere around his head, his forehead sweaty, his face twisted somewhere between pleasure and pain, lips swollen as he kept biting on them, his hands gripping at you like you were his life line.
You put your hands on his chest as you started fucking on him fast, your thighs slapping against him, making him whimper as the bed shook and Hyunjin gripped at the sheets, fucking up into you to meet your pace.
“Y/n, fuck! Harder, fuck me harder!” he begged and you gathered all your strength, fucking on him as hard as you could and he grunted loudly, holding your hips as he fucked up into you.
“That’s it. Good girl. I’m gonna carve the shape of my cock in your pretty pussy.” he smirked between gasps and you whimpered loudly, exploding all over his cock, lifting up and squirting on his twitching length.
Hyunjin let out an animalistic groan when he saw that, grabbing your arms and swiftly turning you around, pressing your knees to your shoulders as you gasped, dizzy from your orgasm and the sudden movement.
He didn’t give you any time to recover as he pushed his dick deep inside you, your pussy taking him immediately.
“Ah!” you moaned loudly.
Hyunjin looked crazed as he fucked you hard immediately, his hands grabbing at your breasts.
“You’re gonna be mine forever, princess. I’ll fill you up good and make sure of that.”
“H-Hyunjin.” you gasped, throwing your head back as you dug your nails into his biceps.
“Mm, y/n.” he whined as his hips stuttered and you came around him again, your pussy gripping his cock.
Hyunjin grabbed your hand as he came hard, filling you up with what seemed like endless ropes of hot cum.
“I love you.” he breathed out and your eyes widened, your core clenching around his softening cock.
His eyes widened when he realized what he said, both of you frozen for a moment.
Hyunjin looked panicked immediately but you grabbed his face, making him look at you.
“I love you.” you smiled and he visibly melted.
You heard voices outside, both of you gasping as you jerked away from each other, quickly picking your clothes up.
“Are y’all done fucking?” Brendon yelled from the front as you got dressed clumsily while Hyunjin tried to gather the dirty sheets.
Embarrassment washed over you when you felt his cum seep out of you, dripping on your panties.
“No we’re not!” Hyunjin yelled and you chuckled.
“I don’t want them to come in here yet.” he pulled you into his chest.
“Why?” you looked up at him.
“I- I meant what I said, y/n. I love you.” he said.
“I love you too, Jinnie. I also hate you just a little, sometimes.” you joked and he giggled.
“That’s okay, as long as you turn that hate into passion.” he wiggled his eyebrows.
“Of course.” you promised and he leaned in to kiss you gently.
-
Six months later…
jinnie<3: babe i have a surprise for you
you: should i be worried?
jinnie<3: maybe… no?
you: just come home
You shook your head with a giggle, today was exactly six months since Hyunjin and you started dating.
You didn’t waste much time, moving in together only a few weeks after the tour ended.
Hyunjin was more clingy than you anticipated but you wouldn’t have him any other way.
You waited for him to come home, hugging teddy as you sat on the sofa, both of you wrapped in a blanket.
Dinner was already finished and Hyunjin’s gift was ready, the lacy black and red set right under the inconspicuous pjs you had on.
“Honey, I’m home!” he snickered as he came in, slamming the door behind him before he all but ran to you.
“Careful.” you laughed as he tripped over the carpet.
He gave you a pointed look but his arms wrapped around you and teddy as he hugged you tightly.
“Missed you.” he nuzzled into your hair and you giggled.
“We missed you too.” you said and he leaned back.
“Do you think teddy missed me more than you did?” he teased.
“Oh definitely.” you smirked and he pouted so you pulled him into another hug, and he yelped.
“Ow. Be careful.” he jolted and you squinted your eyes at him.
“What did you do, Hyunjin?”
“Remember when I asked if a belly button piercing would suit me?” he grimaced.
“Did you get a belly button piercing?!” you gasped and Hyunjin chuckled before he took his shirt off.
Sure enough, there was a fresh piercing above his belly button.
“Oh wow. It’s perfect.” you bit on your lip and he exhaled.
“I’m glad you like it.” he said, looking relieved.
“Is that my gift?” you chuckled.
“Kind of, but also this.” he pulled out his sketchbook, flipping through the pages.
“It’s the tattoo you wanted, I finished designing it.” he showed you the sketch and you gasped.
“Hyunjin! This is beautiful!”
“It’ll look even more beautiful on you.” he leaned in to kiss you.
“I wanna do it as soon as I can.” you said and he chuckled.
“Maybe we could add our matching tattoo then.” Hyunjin’s cheeks flushed.
“Oh? You have an idea for that?”
“Yeah but stop me if it’s too cheesy or if you don’t like it.” he said, looking nervous all of a sudden as he flipped through his sketchbook again.
“Just show me.” you smiled and he gave you the sketchbook.
“See it’s part of a rose for you and part for me, my vision was to have it tattooed on the side of our thumbs so when we hold hands, it becomes one flower. What do you think?”
You stared at him for a moment as your heart fluttered.
“Hyunjin, that’s so sweet. I love that idea.” you caressed his cheek as he smiled.
“I’m glad you do.”
Both of you leaned in, your lips meeting in a tender kiss.
“Where’s my gift?” he smirked and you snickered, lowering your shirt a little, just so you could tease him with a glimpse of the lacy bra.
“Oh. You wore the set.” he licked his lips. “Mm, the best gift ever.” his eyes became foggy in a second as he leaned in with pursed lips.
“Nuh-uh!” you put your finger on his lips. “No dessert before dinner.” you smirked and he rolled his eyes with a smile.
“Fine, I’ll eat you up later. There’ll be nothing left of you just so you know, darling.” Hyunjin said, burying his face in your neck and inhaling the sweet perfume you put on for him, the one that drives him absolutely insane.
“Also, please put on a shirt before I explode.” you added as he leaned back and he laughed, his body shaking with it.
“Sorry.” he winked, getting dressed.
Hyunjin chased you to the kitchen as you grabbed teddy and started running from him, squealing as you rounded the table.
He tricked you, going left then right and you fell for it, your body ending up in his comforting embrace.
“I think teddy is hungry.” Hyunjin said, making you giggle.
“Mhm, and what about Jinnie?” you smirked and he chuckled.
“Jinnie is starving.” he whined dramatically.
As the apartment filled up with warm laughter, the first snowflakes started falling outside, signifying a new beginning, a sense of calmness and peace washing over you, the warmth and comfort you felt at that moment enveloping the two of you completely.
The happiness was almost tangible as it traveled through the air.
If someone would’ve told you you’d end up living with your sworn enemy, Hwang Hyunjin, you’d call them crazy while laughing in their face.
But here you were, every moment with him by your side was precious even when he drove you crazy at times.
After dinner, you skipped out to your balcony to light up a cigarette and enjoy the view of the city as all the roofs slowly became blanketed by snow. Hyunjin joined you, draping his leather jacket over your shoulders when you shivered, his arms wrapping around your frame.
“I’m starting to think you keep forgetting your jacket on purpose.” he squinted his eyes at you and you giggled.
“Maybe I am.” you looked back at him as he leaned his chin on your shoulder.
“Well, you can always wear mine.” he whispered, turning you around so he could give you a gentle kiss.
Who knew that your band falling apart would bring you together with the love of your life?

Tumblr media
DAVID
• This man smokes like ten packs of cigarettes per day.
Think of a mukbang video but instead it’s just David smoking a shit ton of cigarettes packs.
Max has came to the conclusion that if David were not a vampire, he would in fact be a cancer patient.
• Him bullying someone is just his poor attempts at flirting.
• Makes multiple attempts at destroying Christmas decorations in every store he goes to during winter. When an employee looks in his direction upon hearing the crashing sound of tree baubles, he stares at them with that icy glare, looking personally offended that the employee is giving him the “Did you just do that..” look.
He’s a dumb shit that couldn’t care less what anyone else sees him doing. The employee could literally catch him smacking a glittery bauble off their mini Christmas tree with the back of his hand and he’ll glance over at them, blinking repeatedly.
“It was an accident.”
He’ll even turn to his mind control, allowing the employee to believe it was either Paul or Marko. It usually ends up being Marko, and he’s standing there biting the cuff of his jacket whilst getting the shittiest lecture from the store manager. Turns out poor Marko actually loves the place’s Christmas decorations.. despite being a bloodsucker that should resent anything to do with Christ. He just likes sparkly things.. ☹️
• David is so blunt to anyone who calls him self centred. He ain’t phased in the slightest bit by it. Marko’s said it on multiple occasions after an argument broke out between them all in the cave, and everyone was throwing digs. But the boys know David’s the most brutally honest being they’ve ever encountered.
“Who else am I supposed to be centred on?”
• He’s always dreamed of owning a black cat named Salem, but he knows the cat either won’t take to him being a vampire or the boys might accidentally forget it’s around and do something stupid.
(He really just wants one to sit on his lap whilst he’s in his wheelchair acting like Don fucking Corleone)
• Went through an identity crisis and forced himself to try and look like Billy Idol for a week. (That week turned into years)
• Dwayne’s still trying to convince him that bleaching his hair was a bad decision after a clump of it FELL OUT.
• If there’s ever a child crying on the boardwalk, David’s usually the reason they’re crying.
PAUL
• Is always the “C’mon everybody!!” person at the function. Yet when he runs off excitedly, no one follows.
• Never knows what to do in a chaotic situation because he’s that used to BEING the chaos.
• Cannot sit still for shit. He has to be fiddling with something or bouncing around the place like the madman he is.
• Paul’s a ride or die Mötley Crüe fan. He’s even lured some chicks on the boardwalk by playing Mötley on his boombox for them, feeding afterwards of course. (He’s the sneakiest little shit you’ll ever meet)
If he ever met a girl whom he fell for and eventually turned, his ideal date idea would be going on his motorcycle in the moonlit night and blasting “Kickstart My Heart” with his new partner riding along with him. He’s dreamt of it for years.
(Marko’s bound to third wheel though duh)
• He’s also got a thing for Alice In Chains, and he’s spent many drunk nights screaming the lyrics to “Bleed The Freak” outside the cave whilst meanwhile inside the boys sit in silence and are forced to listen to him.
• Paul barely sees girls with lip piercings but when he does holy fuck.
Just any kind of person who can pull off facial piercings is magical to him. Whether it be a few or a lot, he’s mesmerised by whatever kind of metal is in your face.
• Says “Pspsps..” to every kitty he sees on the boardwalk then screams the biggest “FUCK YOU!” if he witnesses the cat either pad over to someone else or look at him and run away.
• He’s always got a fucking rootbeer in his hand when he’s in the cave with the boys. Aside from blood, him and Marko live off of rootbeer. Ice. Cold. Rootbeer.
• Cherry Pie by Warrant is this man’s national anthem.
• Continuously has to find new weed dealers because if he has a bad argument with one of the boys, they’ll purposely hunt down his current dealer and drain every drop of blood from their body. This causes Paul to go apeshit because when he’s not out looking for prey or pissing people off on the boardwalk, you can bet his ass is in the cave stoned.
• On the topic of his severe weed habit, he’s not much of an edibles guy. He’d rather be sat on his ass smoking the fattest joint of his immortal existence and enjoying every minute of it. He’s occasionally gotten edibles for Marko, but Marko and gummies do not mix after the Frog Brothers started creeping around again.
• Has the biggest Playboy magazine stash that he hides underneath a pile of old denim and leather jackets in the cave. No one apart from Marko knows about them. Plus they’ve always been for.. special.. occasions..
Marko can’t help himself though and starts singing “In The Heat Of The Night” by Sandra when anyone innocently mentions magazines around Paul. This causes Paul to send his boot into Marko’s stomach whenever the boys are all assing around on the bridge, and he’s the first to fall.
“….. I’m telling David about your WET DREAMSSSSS.” Marko usually screams before disappearing into the fog below.
• Him and Marko don’t celebrate holidays unless it’s Halloween or Easter. They don’t give a fuck about the religious part when it comes down to Easter though. And if they wanted to, they couldn’t. They’re just there for the chocolate. They miss the taste of it. Paul will literally start fighting children during an Easter egg hunt on the boardwalk so he can get more for himself and Laddie.
(God help the children who push Laddie out of the way)
MARKO
• Goes into Claire’s Accessories and proceeds to tell the child who’s about to get their ears pierced how bad it should hurt.
(Also steals drip for himself because hello yes he does indeed fw a Sanrio earring set)
• He’s always the one who’ll make the most guttural moaning sounds if you’re on the phone to someone.
• Him and Paul are always found in the naughty section of Max’s video store.
• Whenever a fight breaks out on the boardwalk (that isn’t started by David or Paul for once) he doesn’t know what the fuck to do so he just starts screaming.
• Whenever one of the boys is hurt or sick (yes vampires get sick), Marko’s always the one who tends to them. He’s a massive over-thinker. David came down with something one time, and it was bad. Real bad. It was extremely rare, but it hit David like a freight train. Marko thought he walked in and found him in a state where he’d never wake up, so Max and the boys were left to deal with him bawling for the rest of the evening. Even David was confused when he awoke from his slumber.
• He has a bat plushie named Boris that Paul stole for him years ago. He gets caught chewing on the wings a lot but all in all he loves his Boris.
• Paul once traveled to LA and took him to one of those haunted house events for Halloween. They got kicked out and almost left their motorcycles because Marko starting punching multiple actors. It ended up in this big ass arguement because Paul swore for a moment he saw a glimpse of Marko’s fangs in the light and his eyes momentarily changed.
• The pigeons that flap around in the cave are like his pets. He’s down for just chilling with them and petting them if they let him.
Marko lowkey loves animals.
• He likes embracing his golden, curly locks. Aside from his fashion sense, he thinks his curls are really what gives him his image. He isn’t vain, but he does truly adore his little curls.
• Marko has such a soft spot for trad goths and their way of dressing. Whenever he sees one on the boardwalk, (which he hopes he will), he’s always fascinated by whatever outfit they have on. If they walk past him and the boys, he offers a shy smile. He wishes he could go start a conversation with them, but he thinks it’d be pretty dumb considering what his.. needs are. He doesn’t wanna kill people he thinks are cool.
DWAYNE
• Has the og resting bitch face.
• He wishes he could just stay silent and wonders why it’s not enough to just show up somewhere and have giant eyes.
• Dwayne used to get so many random people come up to him on the boardwalk and tell him how good he’d suit a black or brown eyeliner.
Since that day Dwayne has never forgotten those people and he always wears eyeliner inside and outside the cave.
• Major black coffee addict despite not even needing it.
• Whenever the likes of Paul and Marko actually try to engage in activities whilst on the boardwalk, some female will waltz up to Dwayne. Their approach and characteristics through their energy will allow him to of course decide what his next move is, but if it’s some yappy person who clearly has a horrible energy, Dwayne can be just as blunt as David is.
“How can I get to know you?”
“I don’t want to be known.”
And then he’ll walk away.
• This man is dedicated to leopard print. DEDICATED. In his mind him and the boys are living in some lavish mansion in 70s LA with leopard print plush sofas, leopard print pillows, leopard print bed sheets, literally everything leopard print.
If he had free rein to design the places he wanted to, he’d be ecstatic. (Literally all he wants is to turn Max’s house into a leopard print and cherry red museum.)
• When Dwayne actually smiles around people, it’s the sort of smile that can heal a thousand wounds. Like him coming out of his shell is the sweetest thing to witness.
• If the boys are off irritating the fuck out of people on the boardwalk instead of trying to find a good feed, Dwayne will occasionally sneak away and visit any sort of music store he can find. He could sit and yap to the people in there for days, and that’s really where he feels the most comfy around strangers. He loves talking to others about bands and artists like Judas Priest, Type O Negative, Rob Zombie, Pantera, Sisters of Mercy, Monster Magnet and Rammstein.
• The film The Crow ended up having a really special place in Dwayne’s heart. He loves playing little bits and pieces on his guitar for Laddie from Graeme Revell’s music from the soundtrack.
