Alina in the orphanage:
"Not much of an artist," sniffed one of the teachers. "Certainly has an imagination, though," the other replied, peering skeptically at the white dragon that curled around the banister of the stairs LEIGH BARDUGO CAN'T EVEN LET ALINA BE A GOOD ARTIST :( __________ and earlier paragraphs show that basically none of the people in town, teachers, nor staff respect her: Young. Rich. Possibly mad. These were the words whispered about the couple that ran the orphanage. But they paid well and the boy was so charming it was hard to stay mad AT HIM (no one likes alina) ...the girl was different, small and strange...seemingly oblivious to the glares and disapproving clucking of the teachers and staff
That's Leigh 🤷♀️
She wants Alina to feel contented with her fate, which is a sad and depressing one. To feel thankful for being alive. But losing her powers killed the real her. And if Alina says she's happy then who are we to deny it or doubt it? She doesn't want us to.
But we no longer give a shit about what Bardugo thinks so there's that. 🙂
Yeah, sure, Alina didn't like nor want to become a leader. But then again she didn't know what she wanted. So why is her ending happy? She never said that she wanted to return there. On the contrary, as a child she imagined leaving the orphanage with Mal.
So her character development never existed and did a 360° circle. Normally writers make their characters go back to their roots so that they can learn something or put something to rest. But for a character to end up in the same place? A place which brought her much unhappiness?
Just imagine Harry Potter ending up with the Dursleys.

Always found it funny how the Marquis on Voyager talked as if they'd been fighting in the trenches for years and years and had their own cultural identity separate from all these Federation types on the ship when their movement only started a couple of months ago.
#star trek#star trek voyager#marquis#voyager#the creators really speed ran their creation to get the show launched in time#and the later writers on the show obvious forgot how briefly the marquis had been around before they all got trapped in the delta quadrant#continuity really wasn't one of their best features#remember when they brought back kes seeking vengeance for no reason?#or that time a crew member we'd never heard of before came back from the dead and she was supposed to harry beloved or something#one of the writers said that the other writers on staff just didn't give a shit about the show#and just saw it as a job to knock out scripts and collect their pay#and you can really see that in the final product

I interpreted the "adaptation from the manga" thing to imply that they'll animate the 3 Yuus (like you said) but my partner proposed smth to me that raised my concerns... what if they only animate Yuuka? or like- default to a female Yuu? I could see that bc it would be probably easier for them to have only one protagonist.
don't get me wrong I like Yuuka and I know a lot of TWST fans are women but since the studio involved is apparently known for shojos I'm scared they'll make it seem like the story is romantic/the game is an otome... Which I mean- we do have SOME fanservice stuff but it's definitely not a romance story. That's why I'm scared 😭 if they do go that path... I much rather prefer the disconnection (?) of having 3 different Yuus than the possibility of this...
Also I'm just 🥲 I'm scared ppl will see that and say ahhh So Yuu has always been a woman!! Because as a trans guy, one thing that rlly made me feel valid in a way was seeing that in the game Yuu has no gender at all... I don't go by they/them but I'd much rather be referred as that than to be misgendered. It's a small thing but it's such an important detail for me (the fact that Yuu is gender neutral/can be whatever u want them to be) that it being erased in the anime would make me pretty sad... even more if ppl take the anime as "confirmation" of Yuu's gender, which it wouldn't be regardless if they end up giving us a girl OR guy Yuu- it would just be another Yuu interpretation different from the game.
But yeah, personal stuff aside, I'm more scared by the possibility of them making it seem like it's a romance story 😭 or ppl calling TWST an otome... which I mean... some people already have that misconception, even some fans...
[Referencing this post and this news!]
I definitely think they're probably leaning towards a new Yuu every season; otherwise, there would be a very uneven distribution of screen time for one Yuu over the others, and that leads into the problem of one Yuu being "more" canon than the rest. Yes, it will probably be easier logistically speaking to keep the same Yuu for the entire anime--but I also said the same thing when we only had the Episode of Heartslabyul manga, and look what happened with that. We ended up getting Yuuka and Yuuta following Yuuken, regardless of the logistical inconvenience of it all. I think if the anime intended to have a singular Yuu to follow for the main story, they would have chosen to adapt the light novel (which has Yuuya across multiple volumes) instead of the manga. The conscious decision to adapt the manga (with changing Yuus) says something to me. So really, I don't think we have to worry about one "kind" of Yuu dominating the anime. I took a look at the portfolios of the two studios collaborating for the Twst anime and didn't see a ton of shoujo myself. There was definitely a handful of them, but overall there was a spread of genres. I think Yumeta Company (one of the studios) has Tokyo Mew Mew New under its belt, which is probably one of its better-known works and maybe that's where the "they're known for doing shoujo" allegations are coming from? Don't quote me on that, though. I'm not someone who closely follows anime studios.
I would, however, like to point out that we shouldn't put all our stock into the studios behind the anime. Yes, they are obviously animating the project and thus have an influence on how the final product is. However, there are tons of other people involved (like the script writer) that will dictate how the anime looks and feels. (In fact, the script writer for the Twst anime, Kato Yoichi, is not known for writing shoujo.) I highly doubt all the staff involved at every possible level of production are conspiring to make Twst a genre it's not. (Related: I blame socialization for this, but it's a little sad that most of us by default think one woman + a bunch of men in a cast must be romantic.)
Now, to your main point. I understand the initial fear of people misunderstanding Twst as a dating sim/otome from how it is presented. Really, I do. I also understand the frustration that comes with people claiming Yuu's identity or gender or what have you is "confirmed". But to that, I ask you: so what? And I don't mean that in a "your feelings aren't valid" way (because your feelings are very valid!) I mean in like... Do these misconceptions others have truly impact your own enjoyment? Do the people believing in these falsehoods erase what you know is the truth? I would wager it doesn't. There has been and always will be those who see Twst or interpret Yuu as something they are not. Lots of us (myself included) thought Twst was an otome game when they first heard of its concept. People claimed Yuuken was the definitive Yuu when the first chapter of the manga dropped. That's fandom, especially the larger they get. If we fixate on those sore spots, it will ultimately make us unhappy because there will never be an end to misunderstandings. I would advise that you try and detach from those worries and just focus on having your own fun in the fandom rather than worrying about how others are consuming or reacting to Twst. Yes, we want Twst, a franchise we've seriously been invested in and love, to be seen a certain way--but I don't think that should come at the cost of your enjoyment. Fandom is meant to be fun, and we don't want to make ourselves miserable by stressing over the "what ifs", you know? Please focus on yourself!!

Ride It!| Bada Lee
Bada Lee x Reader
Fluff, suggestive, smut, drabble
Synopsis: In a random instagram live, your newly found fans after SWF 2, started asking you random questions about what do you think of each team leaders. For a quick background, you are one of the team leaders in SWF 2, but sadly your team got eliminated after the Crew Battle Mission, after getting defeated by Mannequeen on the elimination round along with Wolf'lo and Lady Bounce.
C/w: based off of this post by @westwoodsvivi. Honestly I just wrote this to finally end my writer's block as I have been gone for more than a month now.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/d0cc26542e03d8282d7004cda962d3ae/c56aa1bee6d7e006-a7/s1280x1920/e9240117997685dcabe2cce3115a84f18cf8516d.jpg)

Street Woman Fighter 2 is finally over and although your team didn't make it to the top 4, you still continued to support the other teams until the end, especially when the winner of SWF 2 is the team leaded by your girlfriend.
And now here you are, preparing for the On the Stage concert. All of the teams are in one place again, practicing the dance routines they've performed during SWF 2.
You were finally on break and some of the dancers of each team started goofing around with each other, filming tiktok dances together with Redy who seem to just stand in the background of every video. You laugh at how Redy looks like a lost child standing behind Che Che, Debby, and Yoonji as the trio dance.
Bored in your own world you decided to set up your phone as you sat in the corner of the studio, and finally hit the 'Go live' button after getting permission from the staffs who told you that it is fine as long as you don't spoil anything about the concert.
Viewers immediately flooded the comments and you tried your best to greet everyone. The viewer count goes up by the second.
"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiii 🤎"
"OMG Y/NNNNN 🥹"
"Hi from 🇦🇱"
"Ano ba tayo, Y/n 😩 (what are we, Y/n)"
You read each comments from fans greeting you, to trying to make you say a phrase in their language, to asking you how you have been.
"I'm doing good, as you all know, we're preparing for the upcoming concert. We're actually on a break right now and everyone is doing their own thing. And here I am, in my own space." You picked up your camera as you show the empty dance practice room that you are in right now.
"Honestly, I got bored during our break so I went live" you chuckled. "Everyone has been really busy these days, and I miss talking to you guys." You sent the viewers a flying kiss, which made the comment section go wild.
"AAAAAAHHHH"
"EXCUSE ME⁉️⁉️"
"THAT KISS WAS DEFINITELY FOR ME"
You immediately got embarrassed as you are not used to giving out fan service or acting cute for other people. You give it a few seconds for the fans to finally calm down once again.
"Hmm, there's still much time until we go back to practicing again, what should I do? What do you guys think?" You read the comments once again as each viewers suggest something for you to do. After a few more minutes you finally settled to do a Q and A.
"What is today's TMI?" You read one of the comments as you ponder to yourself what could you share to your viewers . "Hmm, today I arrived at the studio crying because I was watching that one video of that kid from My Golden Kid." You giggled. "It was a very sad clip, I was crying the whole time while I was on my way here."
A few more question pops up after that and you tried your best to answer each one. "Who do you find attractive among the SWF 2 leaders?" You read another question.
"Me, of course" you flip your hair sassily before laughing to yourself. "No, in all honesty, it's gotta be Kirsten or Bada. They're both really charismatic." You answered.
"What part of them do you find attractive?" You read the follow up question.
"For Kirsten, it's probably her hips. I'm not gonna lie, when I saw Kirsten dance for the first time, my whole attention was on her hips..." you shyly admit to your viewers.
"...as for Bada... I really like her nose" you said without any explanation as memories from a few nights ago came back to you.
♡⑅*˖•. ·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙·̩̩̥͙*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .•˖*⑅♡
"A-ahh Bada" your breath staggers as you move your hips, grinding your wet core on your girlfriend's face.
It was the night after BEBE won SWF 2 and you told Bada that you'll do whatever she asks for if they win, which leads you to the situation that you are in right now.
Bada's only wish from you as a reward is for you to sit on her face as she eats you out, which you did without any hesitation.
"That's it ride my face, baby" Bada speak against your pussy as she continues to eat it like a starved man.
You couldn't help but moan louder as your clit presses on the tip of Bada's nose. You continue to grind your puffy clit against it, each movement makes you shiver, as your girlfriend's tongue fucks your cunt relentlessly.
"I-I'm gonna—hah" your eyes roll to the back of your head as the pleasure in your stomach builds up. "Yeah that's it, come for me baby" Bada said as she continues to eat you out.
Soon, a loud moan escapes from your lips as you finally had your release. Your legs were shaking as Bada continues to lap up your juices, each movement of her head under you, the tip of her nose touches your clit.
"So good to me baby, can you give me one more?" Bada sucks on your clit before diving back again into fucking your cunt with her tongue...
♡⑅*˖•. ·͙*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙·̩̩̥͙*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙ .•˖*⑅♡
"Ok let's get back to work" Funky Y announces as she enters the room which snaps you back to reality.
"So yeah anyway, that would be all. See you at the On the Stage concert everyone. Byeeee" You immediately pressed the 'End live' button, before putting down your phone.
"Oh Y/n, so you're here all along" The rest of the dancers enter the room one by one.
"Unnie, why is your face so red?" Sowoen pointed out your face. To which made you turn red even more. The whole time you are reminiscing about that night, you were blushing like crazy.
"It's nothing, I was just feeling hot." You excused yourself, but little do you know, a certain someone was actually watching your live earlier.
Bada approached you as she whispers something to your ears.
"So you like me nose huh, why don't you ride my face again once we got home?"

A/n: it's been a while omg, I missed writing. I'm slowly regaining my motivation to write again finally!!! I hope you like it, sorry if its not as good as you guys thought it would be. This is just a quick drabble to finally break my writer's block, I did not proofread this.

You're Mine, Silly! (Yandere!Jungkook x F!Reader) PART 1
Summary: You've only met him once at a fan meet. You were excited and happy since he was your bias. Thats how you saw him. However, Jungkook saw things differently.
warnings: none
PART 1
There he was, sitting down right in front of you. A part of you still couldn't believe that he was literally a foot away, smiling at you. The sparkle in his eyes bright and shiny, just like his smile.
You swore everything inside you melted away and no thought was left except for Jungkook.
"Hey there!" he waves, grabbing your hand in his, "What's your name beautiful?" he asks, rubbing your palm with his thumb.
It took everything in you not to pass out right in front of you so you mustered up the courage to speak. "Hi!! My name is Y/N! I'm so excited to finally meet you!" you smile brightly, jumping up and down.
"Excited you say?" he smirks, leaning closer, his cologne spreading up toward you, giving you a whiff of his scent. "What makes me so exciting to you?" he questions.
You pretend to think on it real hard when in reality it was so fucking obvious why. "Hmmmm well, I can't deny that you are my bias. You're such a talented singer, song writer, are funny, and so adorable."
His eyes softened as you rambled about things you like about him. With every word you said and the way you seemed so passionate about how you feel made him feel a certain way.
When you realized you were rambling, you felt your face become hot and you removed your hand from his hold. Embarrassment filled you as you scratched the back of your neck, "I'm sorry," you apologize, "I didn't mean to ramble off your ear." you laugh.
Your laugh was cute, something he would love to hear often.
"No, don't apologize." he says and reached over to, once again, hold your hand in his. "Please, don't feel embarrassed. It was cute."
With his free hand, he reached over and grabbed your album to sign. Jungkook did not want to let go of your soft hand. It felt nice in his, like it belonged there.
When you saw him sign it with a message to your name, you opened your mouth. "Can you also put Elijah?" you ask.
he quirked his eyebrow up, confused at your request but nevertheless wrote down the name, "Is he your brother?" Jungkook asked.
You shake your head, "He's my boyfriend! He was the one who bought my ticket actually!" you smiled, "He really wanted to come today, but there was an emergency at work."
Jungkook felt himself freeze. You have a boyfriend? What?
It didn't make any sense. How could you ramble on about how perfect Jungkook is and how adorable he is, only to now say you're in a relationship?
"Oh really?" he mumbled under his breath, trying to contain his cool. "You didn't mention him before."
"it slipped my mind because I was so excited to meet you guys. You and Jimin are his biases."
He didn't know how to feel. Certainly you were flirting with him, there was no doubt, but now you're saying you're with someone. It just didn't make any sense.
"I wish he could've made it." Jungkook says, knowing damn well he didn't mean it.
The bell rung, signaling that it was time to rotate. He didn't want you to go and hated how he only had five minutes to talk to you.
You picked up your album to move on, hoping he would let go of your other hand, but he didn't. In fact, it was as if he held it tighter. You tried releasing your hand, but it was firmly held in his.
Was this by mistake?
Looking to your right, you saw the others behind grow impatient as they looked your way. A lot of the other fans caught glimpse of Jungkook still holding your hand and looking at you with full eyes.
He wasn't letting go and it made you scared because you didn't want to get yelled at by staff and even get kicked out.
In the corner of your eye, you saw a staff make their way toward you and you tried your best to get your hand out, but to no avail. However, there was a savior that stepped in.
Jin placed his hand on Jungkook's shoulder, gaining the youngest's attention. "Uhm, are you okay, Jungkook?" he asked, looking between you both. "The bell rang almost a minute ago, let go of the poor ladies hand."
It took everything in Jungkook to not yell at his hyung, but he obeyed his orders.
"I'm sorry Y/N!" he said, eyes pleading with you, "I got lost in thought and didn't mean for this to happen!"
He was loud and everyone was looking, it made you feel hot with embarrassment, but seeing how he is right now made you feel bad for some reason. As if it was your fault.
"it's ok!" you say, moving in front of Jin, "No need to apologize."
After that, everything felt quick for you. Seeing other members made you happy and it was something you would never forget, especially with Jungkook. He didn't mean to hold your hand that long, so you didn't really think much of it. Besides, you mentioned your boyfriend and your love for Elijah will triumph over Jungkook any day.
However, it was the next day that made things go downhill. You woke up to your phone going off every second. it scared you, made you think a relative died and that your siblings or parents were trying to get ahold of you.
But when you opened your sister's messages, your eyes popped out.
sister: Go check Twitter right now!!
sister: Y/N, WAKE UP!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT!!
sister: if u dont wake up rn ill fucking drive over to your apartment and nuke your door down
You message her quickly, telling her that you're checking right now. Opening the app, it was the first thing that popped up.
WHO IS THE GIRL THAT CAPTURED JK'S HEART?
Was the first headline you saw. You prayed hard and deep that it was something totally different and did not involve you at all.
You clicked on the tweet and your heart dropped. It was clearly a picture of you at the fan meet. it was the moment when Jungkook held onto your hand tightly and didn't let go. Even now you can clearly see the soft look in his face as he stared at you.
How stupid were you for not realizing that fans could take things the wrong way and make it to what it really isn't!
You read the tweet and it made your blood boil.
I was at BTS' fan meet last night and what I saw made me gasp! When the bell rung for the fans to move onto the next member, there was a moment that made everyone shocked. Jungkook wouldn't let go of this girls hand! I don't know her name or who she is, but when I zoomed in, you can see the look in his eyes that he had for her! It was adorable and sweet! The way he held her hand made me swoon!
#BTS #whoIsTheGirl #Jungkook
You scrolled through other tweets, some of them confused, others shocked, a few of them were hate, but a lot of them were excited. It pissed you off. This wasn't Wattpad, this only should happen in cringe stories. You were dating the love of your life and this could seriously ruin things.
Going to Elijah's contact, you tried calling him twice, but he didn't pick up. You texted him asking if he was ok, but he just read your message.
Everything was going downhill so you grabbed your stuff and headed over to your boyfriends apartment.
Upon arriving, you knocked several times for him to answer because there was no way in hell you were leaving without explaining things. When he opened the door, you invited yourself in without asking.
"What are you doing?" he asks, closing and locking the door behind him, "whats wrong?"
You tilted your head, confused by his actions. Is he this mad that he looks so calm?
"I'm here to talk about whats happening on twitter and want to give you my side." you say.
His eyebrows knit together in confusion. "Something on twitter? Care to elaborate?"
"Why are you acting confused? Aren't you angry? I tried texting and calling but you ignored them."
He laughed and walked up to you, giving your forehead and kiss, "I am sorry, honey. I was on the phone with my sister and was trying to calm her down from her first heartbreak. When I saw your text, my phone died."
Elijah then walked to the counter and showed his phone with the screen showing the black background and white apple icon, signifying that it was just turning on from it being dead.
You felt the worry ease just a little as you finally calmed down. "oh thank god." you whisper, placing your hand over your chest. "You scared me so much."
he chuckles and stands in front of you, "Whats happening though? Tell me."
So you told him everything, about how Jungkook kept holding your hand, fans took pictures, thought of something else, and now you're trending on Twitter. You showed him the tweets, pictures, and tags.
His eyes scanned each and every one of them, and after he smiled and chuckled. "Oh Y/N." he gives you a tight hug, "Did you think I was angry about this? That I believed it?"
You nodded your head in his chest.
"You're such a dork." he ruffles your hair, "I would've called your if anything, and besides this is not something you would do. You're loyal, and kind, and I trust you. It was a mistake and the fans fault for taking things the wrong way."
You felt like there was a heavy weight that was lifted from your shoulder. He understood and listened carefully to your words and it made you realize how lucky you are to have him as your boyfriend.
He tried his best to cheer you up, making you food and putting on your favorite show.
When you got the notification that Jungkook was live on Weverse, you and your boyfriend stopped what you were doing to watch it, hoping he would clear up any rumor.
"Hello," he says, waving at the camera. He waited for more people to come on and just kept staring at the lense. When enough people joined, he started talking more.
"'did you see what is trending on twitter?' Yeah, I have actually. She looks pretty in that picture." he says, smiling to himself.
You tilted your head, confused by his words. Shouldn't he shoot down the rumor now instead of fueling it by saying how pretty you are?
"You guys should know that she is just has pretty as her name. Everything about her is flawless." he laughs to himself and reads another comment "'are you guys dating?' I guess this is where I have to be honest and upfront with you guys."
You felt relieved that he was finally going to dispell the rumors between you both and you can finally be at peace from all of this.
"Yes, we are dating. We wanted to keep it on the down low and she wanted to surprise me at the event, but I guess my love for her got the best of me."
Your blood ran cold and your eyes widened. Did you hear him correctly? Was he being serious? You were hoping he said something else and you just needed to check your hearing?
You turned to your boyfriend and see that hes also wide eye, frozen in his place, and even shaking just a little.
"Please, army, im asking you guys to refrain from getting into her privacy. She is human after all, my love and my girl. It would mean the world to me if you showed kindness and love to our relationship."
Why is he doing this? You didn't understand why he was saying these things and what made him attached to you. "What the actual fuck!" you screamed out, throwing your phone.
"How long have we been dating?" he reads aloud, "Since five months already." Jungkook smiles, "I cant believe time has flown by so fast!" he chuckles. "Do the members like her? Of course they do! They're so protective over her, but not too much. After all, shes my girl."
You were sick to your stomach hearing him speak more. The realization dawned on you from last night and why he kept on holding your hand tight, even when you had to move on. Him being your bias sickened you as you realized who this man truly is.
To his fans, he was the kindest and sweetest person ever, his eyes fooled everyone, even you. But now this?
Seeing your boyfriend on the couch, not saying a word broke your heart.
"Please, tell me you don't believe him babe," your eyes started to get watered, "I never met him before last night."
He finally looked at you, swallowing his spit and shaking his head, "Babe, its ok, I believe you." he answeres, "But t-that man," he points at your phone, "Hes fucking crazy. Sick in the head for thinking that. What the hell!?"
You walked up to your boyfriend, giving him a tight hug. "Don't worry babe, I'm going to fix this. I promise."
You left later that night and when you got home, you emptied your purse and thats when you noticed the album you brought with you to the fan meet.
Opening it up, your eyes almost bulged out of your head when seeing his sick note you left you.
You're the most prettiest girl I've ever met with the prettiest name. Please, I want to see you soon. Take care!
Below that had a phone number on it with the words next to it being "Contact me anytime."
You were stupid and dumb, but this needed to be fixed once and for all. Picking up your phone and putting in that number, you waited for the caller to pick up.
It went to voicemail.
You knew this was stupid and it wouldn't work, so you placed down your phone and screamed into your pillow. He's messing up the relationship between you and your man for no reason.
How could a lovely time turn into your worse? Were you actually curs-
*RING!*
Suddenly, your phone lights up with the number you put in and you almost chocked on your spit.
Slowly reaching out, you picked it up and answered, waiting for the person to speak.
"Who is th-this?" you ask, swallowing a nervous spit.
"You called me, shouldn't I be the one asking?"
The voice sounded familiar, but you didn't want to assume that it was him, however you were built on frustration and you let it all out.
"I know this is you, Jungkook. I found the number you left in my album. You are a sick bastard for what you're doing!" You yelled, "What the fuck gave you the idea that we are dating? Why the fuck are you saying this when I've never met you in my entire life.
"Do you not understand that you're ruining my relationship that I have with my boyfriend!?" You yelled into the phone, a tear slipping down.
The line stayed quiet and it pissed you off even more. Even if it wasn't Jungkook on the line, it had to be someone close to him since he wrote this number down by heart.
"Oh, its nice hearing from you finally!" his voice rung out, almost too happy, "How have you been, love?"
You felt the anger rushing in all over again as you laughed, "Are you fucking kidding me!? Did you not hear what I said??"
"I did, yes. But why should that concern me?" he asks, seemingly not caring about the situation he created.
"Did you not care to consider the fact that you're ruining my life? People around me are calling me a whore, they think I left my boyfriend because I met you! Do you not get it?!"
He chuckles a bit, "Don't listen to them, their words should mean nothing. Besides, what do you want me to do about it?"
You froze in place as you were left dumb founded. Is this man serious? "Are you fucking kidding me!? I want you to fix this! We aren't dating and I have a boyfriend, Elijah is his name. Not Jungkook."
Jungkook was quiet for a few seconds before speaking up, "You know, I don't think your boyfriend would be happy with how you were fliritng with me at the event."
You laughed at his stupidity, almost close to hanging up and calling the cops even. "Flirting with you? How was I flirting with you!?"
"The things you said about me being adorbale, funny and all of that. Don't play stupid, its not cute. What would your boyfriend do when he hears the things you said about me?"
"You cannot be serious." you say, angry and confused, "That wasn't fliritng, Jungkook! I was genuonely complimenting you since you were my bias! You need to get out of delusional land!"
"Love, you expect me to go back online and tell the world that what I said isn't true?" he asked.
"Well, fucking obviously!" you screamed.
"Yeah, I can't do that. Besides, what would the fans think of me when I tell them that all that I said was a lie?" he says.
"Well everything was a lie! You created this mess!"
He sighs, "Y/N," you forgot he knew your name, "I'm not taking back my words. I genuinely like you and want something."
You pulled your hair in disbelief, "Jungkook, did you not hear me say that I have a boyfriend 50 times!? There is no us and will never be an us."
He was quiet and all you could hear was tapping. "If you're not going to say anything, I will."
"Love, do you know the power I have?" He asks, "I am a rich man, me and my members bring in 5 BILLION dollars every year. That being said, I have the power to do anything and that anything involves you. Army listens to what I say and eat it up, if I go online with tears in my eyes talking about how hear broken I am.... you can kiss your life and privacy goodbye."
You couldn't believe what you were hearing. "J-Jungkook, are you threatening me?" you asked, so shocked that you swear your heart stopped pounding.
"No, I would never. I'm just letting you know the consequences of what might happen." he says in a soft, degrading tone, "Listen, why don't we meet up and talk about this? Yeah? I'll send you an address first thing tomorrow. How does that sound?"
"No! I'm not going to meet you, are you crazy!?" you yell, gripping your phone tighter in your hands.
"I wonder how army will feel when they hear you say how 'fucking stupid' I am, and how delusional I am for simply being in love." he sighs, "I would hate for your reputation to plummet."
The feeling of your heart sinking is the worse feeling in the entire world. You were helpless and you didn't know what to do, this was completely out of your hands, he was in charge.
"W-why are you doing this to me?" you whisper, tears falling down, "what did I do?"
"Don't cry, my love." he whispers in a soothing tone, "Seeing you for the first time has made me helpless. I knew I needed you in my life. You are the most beautiful human I've ever laid eyes on. Lets talk more about this tomorrow, ok love?"
You didn't feel like talking more, so you stuttered out a yes before hanging up. This man is insane and you knew that if you made the smallest mistake, he has the power to ruin you and your family. What did you do to deserve this?

Hello :) I was wondering if we ever got confirmation about which books Rolin is interested in focusing this adaptation on? I know that they'll probably take elements from most (if not all) VC books, but if they're aiming at 7-8 seasons with some books taking multiple seasons to adapt, they're going to have to pick and choose which books to really dig into.
I was also thinking about production. I've seen people talk about how we'll need to wait another 1.5-2 years between seasons and I kinda doubt that? I feel like we'll start speeding things up and getting a new season every year, mostly because I just can't see them go for 12+ years of production on this show. Very few shows nowadays go more than 10 years, and if they really want to do 7-8 seasons I can't see how they'll manage that with 1.5 to 2 years in between each season. I understand they're in for the long haul with the Immortal Universe but...that's very long in the modern drama landscape.
Honestly I am mostly just hoping to get new seasons more frequently and also be able to see their full vision realized because the longer it goes on the higher the chance they'll run into issues like actor availability, leadership changes that could impact renewals, budget restrictions, etc. What do you think?
Hello!
Okay, first to answer the production question. Now, while many shows rarely go past 10 years wrt production of them, that is really dependent on their Season count. Game of Thrones, for example, only ran for 8 Seasons, and production only lasted 8 years as well.
The Walking Dead ran for 11 Seasons and was produced over 12 years.
AMC has said in the past (or, at least, Rolin Jones has said that AMC has said) that they wanted 10 Seasons for IWTV. RJ, however, has been consistent in saying he has an 8 Season plan.
So whether the show continues on for at least 2 more years after Rolin's 8 Season plan is up in the air right now and we should just focus on, at most, getting 8 Seasons, Which yes, I think will take over the course of 8-9 years to film.
Because I think starting with Season 3, the wait and production times will decrease over time. Remember, the strikes threw a bit of a wrench into things. But what also did regarding Season 2 was that it's clear that Rolin and the writing staff didn't start actually writing Season 2 until AMC had officially greenlit Season 2 back in September of 2022. That is why shooting for Season 2 couldn't start in the fall of 2022, there were no scripts broken, let alone written yet!
And then, once the scripts were done, they still had to start pre-production stuff, such as location scouting, figuring out which sets needed to be built, etc.
So shooting for Season 2 could only start shooting when it did because it was the earliest they could get all that done once they were given a renewal notice.
I think things are very different when it comes to Season 3 because I think, even if the show hadn't already been quietly renewed for Season 3 before it was officially announced, RJ and the other writers were already breaking and writing the scripts for Season 3 starting either just before or while Season 2 was airing. And so given that writing time, plus the fact that they probably don't have to do as much location scouting (since many of those locations were already found in Season 2) pre-production will likely take less time.
I think filming will begin in late October, meaning we'd get an October 2025 release date. Which I think will be the standard release window going forward with each new season and why the wait will be another long one again, but that will also give the production staff and actors breathing room after they are done filming a season before going into the next one.
So for that reason, I can see production of the show lasting 9-10 years, but that is because of the extra 1/2 year gaps between the filming and airing of Season 2 and the one I feel we are going to get for Season 3.
As well as the fact that I think when they get to Queen of the Damned, that will be a true split-season like the one Breaking Bad got for its final season. That show had Season 5, Part 1, and Season 5, Part 2. Because even though this past season was called "Season 2" externally, you can see by the episode numbers that internally, what this really was was "Season 1, Part 2."
Anyway, as to the books being adapted -- and not just having elements taken from them -- Rolin has said for sure we are getting IWTV (which we just finished), The Vampire Lestat (Season 3), Queen of the Damned (which is where he spoke about it being so epic and grand a story that they will probably have to split the season in order to tell it all) and Tale of the Body Theif (which he confirmed after Season 2 was finished that they were beginning to already set up for). He also mentioned at Comic-Con in 2022 that Prince Lestat would be adapted.
Also, while RJ talked about the book The Vampire Armand being important, he's never said it would get its own separate adaptation, which honestly makes sense. Because of the way that book is told, you can just interweave elements of it when you want to focus on Armand's backstory, or even just do a stand-alone episode here and there dedicated to parts of it. It really isn't the kind of book you do a full season on IMO.
So yeah. The books that we know for sure are getting their own, full adaptations per RJ so far are IWTV, TVL, QotD, TotBT, and PL.
I can see them throwing elements of books like Memnoch, TVA, and Blood and Gold into it all, but I don't know if they'll get their own full-season adaptations. As I said, I don't think TVA will. And I don't think B&G will either, as I see it just like TVA -- you adapt elements of it during a season, maybe even full sections of it for a flashback episode or so during a season, but it doesn't get its own full stand-alone season.
The same goes for Merrick, since they already did Louis' suicide attempt and Louis seems to be moving forward from his despair and grief regarding Claudia -- so that even if Lestat did fall into his post-Memnoch coma in the show, I'm not sure this Louis would attempt to end his life again over that loss. (Even more so after this Louis also got that letter from Lestat in the past, telling Louis to please live on in the event of his death.)
I have no idea if they are seriously going to ever do Blackwood Farm or Blood Canticle. Neither book has ever been mentioned, even in passing. Plus, they kind of depend on what and where Mayfair Witches is at or has going on at the time and well, that show . . . 😅
Oh! And they might be looking to adapt the whole Prince Lestat trilogy, but I don't remember if RJ has talked about adapting the whole trilogy -- meaning the entirety of each book -- or just the full first book and then elements from the other two. (Because I do think it's clear that, if anything, we'll get the Loustat ballroom dance from Blood Communion in the final season of the show).
So yeah, I think that this is what we're looking at for the next few years, book adaptation-wise.

Read on AO3 | Masterlist | Kitkat Universe Masterlist
Summary: You and Danny go to the annual haunted woods paintball game.
Pairings: Danny x Reader | Genre: fluff | Word Count: 4k | Warnings: smoking
A/N: This is my fic for the GVF Fic Writers Halloween Event! Of course it's Danny and Kitkat <3 I used the prompt "starting a new Halloween tradition". I hope you like it! ♡
“I want to go too.”
Danny gave you an uncertain look, packing his vest into the duffle bag on your bed. You couldn't tell if it was surprise at your statement or reluctance to have you tag along, and felt a little uncertain yourself as you waited for his answer.
“Are you sure?” he asked. He tucked his curls behind his ear, and you were distracted by the movement for a moment. He was sure to wear a beanie, and you knew it would look cute, but you liked his hair best unbound and unhindered.
“I — I think so,” you said, and you realized it wasn't that convincing. “If I can still go. If you want me to.”
Danny and the boys were going to a staff party at the haunted house they worked for, a midnight glow-in-the-dark paintball extravaganza in the haunted woods on the property. He'd asked you a few days ago if you wanted to join and you'd declined, feeling like it might be a little much for you, but now that he was getting ready to go you suddenly didn't want to miss out on the fun.
“Of course you can still go,” he said easily, and you were glad to know he wasn't regretting extending the invitation. “I’d like it if you did. But it’s... well, it's meant to be kind of scary, kitkat.”
You stood up straighter. “I know. I think I can handle it. I want to try.”
He softened then, giving you an amused smile.
“Okay, buddy,” he said, using his other silly little nickname for you. “Good on you for being brave. Let's give it a try.”
You glowed with excitement and pride. “Really?” You were no dummy; you knew you'd be a bit of a hindrance just because you weren't very good, not to mention your scaredy-cat tendencies to anything even mildly spooky. “I don't want to... be in the way. I've never played paintball before.”
“You won't be in the way,” he assured you kindly. “I want you there, and so do the guys. And there's gonna be people who've never played before. It'll be fun.”
“Okay,” you said brightly, choosing to believe him even if he was biased because he loved you. But then, you were a little crestfallen — “I don't have any equipment, though. I guess I should have thought of that.”
He waved you off. “I have an extra gun, and I'm sure one of the twins’ extra vests will fit you. We can probably rustle up a helmet from somebody. All you gotta do is dress warm and look cute.”
You smiled up at him. “I think I can handle that.”
He chuckled and kissed your nose. “I think so too. Go get dressed, kitkat. All black so you don't make yourself an easy target.”
He was already dressed head to toe in black, and he cut a fine figure in his dark jeans and thermal shirt. You rifled through your dresser and found a suitable outfit, and you watched him pack the last of his things in the mirror as you braided your hair.
“Ready?” you asked as he zipped up his duffel bag.
He cracked a grin. “Ready. Let's hit it.”
You blasted some rock n roll favorites from your Halloween playlist on the drive, “Runnin’ with the Devil” and “Bark at the Moon”, both of you belting out the tunes as the brisk wind whipped your hair and brought a flush to your cheeks. You decided that you weren't going to chicken out, no matter how intimidating a battle in the middle of the haunted woods sounded, and were hyped up and ready by the time you got there.
“Kitkat!” Josh tossed you a vest as you neared the bonfire where he and Sam were getting warm and outfitted. “Glad you decided to come. Jake went to find you a helmet.”
Danny helped you strap on the vest and showed you how to use the paintball gun, demonstrating where the trigger was, how to refill the hopper, and how to turn the safety off once the game started. He put a refill of paintballs in your vest and made sure everything was snug and comfortable.
“Good?” he asked.
You nodded. “Good.” Jake returned with a helmet for you, and you put it on and looked up at Danny through your mask.
“How do I look?” you asked.
He smirked. “Like a little assassin, kitkat.” He tapped a gloved finger against the brim of your mask. “You'll do great.”
A whistle blew from the woods, indicating that the game was about to start, and the five of you put strips of reflective orange tape on your vests to show what team you were on. The other team, you'd been told, had yellow tape, and you reminded yourself to only shoot at them. You were a little worried you'd get discombobulated and shoot one of your own team members, but you'd try your best.
Danny put on his helmet, and his skull-shaped black mask was spooky in the firelight. Though he'd been handsome to you earlier, outfitted and confident and big, he looked downright scary with the mask on.
You smiled a little. You had some experience with Danny looking intimidating behind a mask, and that had turned out alright. This probably would too.
You stuck close by his side as you tramped through the woods to your team's starting point, listening to the chatter of excited players and the nightly cacophony of the woods. Owls and crickets and breeze-swept branches made the woods come alive, and despite the effectively haunting atmosphere, you were excited to play and see how well you'd do. A nervous anticipation sent a cool tingling through your fingers, and you gripped the gun more tightly than Danny had showed you to.
“Um, Danny?” you asked when you stopped, looking up at his mask.
“Hm? You alright?”
You nodded. You wished you could see his face.
“Can you... can you stay with me? For the first round, anyway?” You knew he probably wanted to run off and play Black Ops with his friends and not be slowed down sticking with you, but you'd get lost and freaked out in a second without him.
He leaned down to bonk his helmet gently against yours.
“Yes. Of course.”
You giggled. “Thanks.”
The ref on your side reastated the rules and boundaries, pointing out your team's home base that would serve as a resupply point, a medical tent should anyone need it, and the place you were supposed to go if you got out. There would be no mistaking who was hit and who wasn't; the paint was glow in the dark, and it would show in fluorescent green. Otherwise, you were on your own to play as long as you lasted. It was a game of capture the flag, so you were to be on the lookout for a glowing banner emblazoned with a witch's hat; your team's was branded with a ghost.
“Players ready?” the ref asked. “Three, two, one — ”
An air horn sounded, startling you, and every member of your team took off at a run to find cover and go after the flag. The loud popping of offensive fire filled the woods almost immediately, players already meeting each other out in the woods, and you suddenly became a lot less confident than you had been.
Danny hadn't run off with everyone else, patiently waiting for you, and you were so thankful for your very kind boyfriend when you knew he wanted to be out there in the thick of it. He held out his hand.
“You got this, kitkat. I'm right here with you.”
You put your hand in his and let him lead you at a jog through the woods he knew by heart. Most of the players did, since they worked here, but some stragglers seemed either as unsure as you were or just plain foolish, standing out in the open. You caught a glimpse of yellow tape, but before you could even raise your gun, Danny had dispatched the player and sent them back to their base groaning and cursing their bad luck.
“Come on,” he said, taking your hand again, his voice muffled through the mask. “I know a few likely places they could have put their flag. Let's go.”
You roused to the thrill of the game as you went quickly through the woods, dodging trees and roots and decorations of various shapes and sizes: vampire statues, headstones, giant looming skeletons. Leaves crunched under your feet, telltale even under the constant sound of gunfire, giving away people's positions left and right. Danny took the other team's players out with startling accuracy, and though you fired a few times, you only maged to hit trees or some set pieces.
Danny pulled you behind a huge rock, one that usually served as a jumping-off point, literally, for some ghoul or goblin to scare passers-by during operating hours. You caught your breath as he took a look around, careful to be quiet.
“Their flag's definitely over this way,” he said in a low voice when he rejoined you. “There’s too many people grouped up here for it not to be. We just gotta find out way around to it.” He tugged a little on the strap of your vest.
“Still good?” he asked.
“Yeah,” you said, grinning behind your mask. “It’s kinda fun.”
He laughed. “I told you it would be. You stay here a minute. I'm gonna go scout out a little further ahead.”
You didn't exactly love him leaving you in the dark, noisy woods, but you didn't protest, happy to let him have a little solo macho time. You waited in your hiding spot for him to come back, listening to the excited laughter, the happy yelling, the calls back and forth of friends as they played. It soothed your nerves a little to hear that it was a game, really, and that all the fear and adrenaline was in good fun.
All of a sudden, somebody skidded around the corner of your rock, and you raised your gun and fired without thinking.
“Damn!” The other player gave a groan of pain at the impact, and though you were relived it wasn't Danny you'd shot, you noticed with chagrin that it was somebody wearing orange tape.
“Oh, I'm sorry!” you said sincerely. “I didn't see your tape. I'm really sorry.”
The other player huffed and sat next to you, leaning against the rock.
“Kitkat?” he asked. You recognized that distinctive Kiszka accent. “It’s Sam.”
You felt marginally better then, knowing Sam would forgive your shoot-first-ask-questions-later strategy.
“Aw, Sam, I'm sorry I shot you. You scared me to death.”
He laughed. “Yeah, you scared me too. Good hit, though.” He looked around. “Where’s Danny?”
“He went to look for the flag,” you said. “He thinks it's around here somewhere.”
Sam nodded. “It is. Gonna be a hell of a time gettin’ to it though. Jake got hit, but Josh is still out there as far as I know.”
Danny came around the corner then, and both you and Sam raised your guns before you saw it was him. He held up his hands.
“Just me,” he panted. “Don’t shoot.”
“Well, she already shot me,” Sam groused good-naturedly. “Hey, you got hit.”
Danny’s hand hovered over the bright green paint on his chest. “Yeah, I know. It's wicked over there. That's definitely where they have the flag. Too bad we can't get it.”
“We could,” Sam said. “Respawn’s only ten minutes.”
“Really?” Danny asked, brightening. “Oh. I must have missed that. Let's get back to base, then.”
Though you weren't hit, you went with them back to base; you could still play, and you actually managed to shoot one of the opposing team members as you made your way back through the woods.
“Hey, good shot,” Danny praised. “We might make a paintball player out of you yet, kitkat.”
Glowing with pride and pleasure, you came into the warm circle of light at the home base and joined the players waiting to respawn. You took off your masks and caught your breath, Danny and Sam wiping the paint off their vests and letting the ref know they were staring their wait time.
Danny bummed a cigarette off of somebody and came to stand with you, Sam, and Jake, who was animatedly telling the story of how he'd been shot.
“I have, like, four minutes left,” he said. “Then I’m going right back where I was. There's only one guard over there, and he's the one that shot me, but now that I know here's there, I can take him out.”
Danny looped a thumb around the strap of his vest and exhaled smoke through his nose. “Where is it? Looked to me like they had people everywhere.”
“By the graveyard,” he said eagerly, and you could tell Danny knew exactly where that was. “Come that way if you can, but — ” He looked a little smug. “I’ll probably have the flag by then.”
“Yeah, but you gotta get it back here, Jakey,” Sam teased. “Think you can manage that?”
“Come with me and be my bodyguard,” he joked right back. “I could use a few bodies between me and a paintball, Sammy.”
Josh came tramping in as Danny finished his cigarette, looking a little worse for wear with paint splattered on his shoulder, his chest, and his leg.
“Damn, Josh,” Sam laughed. “You got your ass kicked, huh?”
Josh sat down heavily on the bench, gratefully accepting a bottle of water from his twin.
“Yeah, well, some moron shot me while I was on my way back,” he said. He swilled the water. “As if I wasn't bright fucking green already.”
You all laughed and commiserated with him, Sam distracting him from his losses by regaling him with the tale of being shot by his own team member.
“And you'll never guess who it was,” he said.
Josh raised a brow and looked at Danny.
“Wasn’t me!” he protested with a laugh. “Kitkat’s the sharpshooter, not me.”
You took the subsequent ribbing with grace.
“He scared me!” you said, laughing. “Running around the corner like a bat out of hell!”
“Now, Sam,” Josh said, pointing an accusing water bottle at his brother. “You should know better than to scare our poor kitkat.”
Jake took his leave when his time was up, telling you all to come join him at the graveyard, and pretty soon it was time for you, Danny, and Sam to get back to the game as well. Josh wished you good luck, saying he'd join the group guarding your team's flag, and you headed out into the fray again.
“I’m gonna go by Jason’s house,” Sam said, indicating the path to the Friday the 13th set. “I know Jake said to go the other way, but hey, no guts, no glory.”
You parted ways and took off towards the graveyard, Danny leading you down the path, weaving between trees and narrowly avoiding being shot several times. Somebody jumped out at you from behind a headstone, but Danny stepped in front of you and took the player out before they could even shoot.
“My hero,” you said dreamily.
He laughed. “Come on, trouble.”
You were quiet and cautious as you neared the location of the flag, dodging the guards and hiding behind every bit of cover you could find. The action wasn't so feverish here, though the air was more tense; guards roamed around, almost a dozen of them, and you and Danny were furtive and careful as you made your way around them.
“If I get shot,” you whispered, “I’ll go back alone and you keep looking for the flag.”
“You sure?”
“Yes, I'm sure. You have to be at Jake to it.”
He breathed a laugh and patted your helmet. “Okay. Good deal.”
You met Jake a few minutes later, trudging upright and without caution back the way you'd come, green paint glowing on his thigh. You caught his attention, and he was more wary as he hunkered down beside you and Danny.
“The flag is right there,” he said, motioning over the little rise in front of you. “Go get it. Be careful. I’ll wait here and guard you while we go back.”
You pulled at Danny's sleeve. “Do you want me to stay too?” You were worried you'd slow him down as he went to get the flag, but he shook his head.
“No way,” he said. “You’re gettin’ that flag, kitkat. You'll be like the final girl in a paintball slasher movie. You're gonna win this whole thing.”
You doubted it, but his conviction was sweet all the same. You held onto the back of his vest as you walked quickly over the rise, keeping low, and he reached a hand back to reassure you.
Then, like a bright green beacon right in the middle of the graveyard, was the flag with the starry witch hat. None of the guards suspected anyone would be that close, so you were free to take it and get back to your hiding spot without being caught. You could hardly believe that you'd gotten it, and Jake almost gave you position away in his excitement when you showed him.
“Holy shit!” he said, a yell contained in a fervent whisper. “You got it! Hide it under your vest, kitkat, before somebody sees it!”
“Are we allowed to hide it?” you asked.
“Yeah,” Danny answered, “but whoever brings the flag in can't be hit. Stay close, kitkat.”
You shoved the flag between your shirt and your vest, hiding the bright green, and the three of you set off at a run back to base. You heard when someone realized the flag was gone, and the three of you moved even quicker; you were being chased now, shots coming rapidly from behind you. Jake was already hit, so he moved behind you to take the brunt of it; you could see the light of the base when Danny gave a grunt of pain and stumbled forward.
“‘S okay, keep going,” he said, a little winded from the impact. The player who'd shot him was coming up close now, but they didn't shoot; maybe they didn't know you were there, and Danny and Jake were glowing already.
“There’s somebody else with them,” the other player said to a companion close behind. Thinking fast, you ran your sleeve over Danny's back and held up your hand.
“I’m hit too,” you said, the paint glowing as evidence.
The players let you go, fooled by the ruse and confident that even if you did have the flag, it would have to be returned if you showed up hit. Danny and Jake barely contained their glee.
“I can't believe that worked!” Danny said, boyishly pounding you on the back when you were a safe distance from the other players. “Holy shit, kitkat! That was incredible!”
You wobbled a little under the strength of his pride and praise, grinning up at him.
“Let’s go!” Jake urged. “We’re almost there!”
You ran headlong towards the base, caution thrown to the wind as you were back among your own team, the boys whooping and hollering as you barreled in.
“We got it!” Danny yelled as you came into base. “We got the flag!”
The players gathered close around you.
“Show ‘em,” he said eagerly.
You held their attention and pulled the flag out with a flourish.
“Voilà,” you said dramatically. “The witch’s hat!”
Your team erupted into cheers, losing themselves in the excitement of victory, and only quieted down when the ref came to examine the win.
“You have paint on you,” he said, looking at your sleeve with a critical eye. “If you were hit, it doesn't count.”
“She wasn't hit,” Jake said, dragging Danny around to show off the smudged mark on his back. “She put Danny's paint on her to trick the guys who were chasing us, and it worked.”
The paint showed clear evidence that you hadn't been hit, only smeared with paint, and the ref declared it a victory with a blast of the air horn. Your team cheered and crowded you, Danny, and Jake, lauding you as the conquering heroes.
Sam and Josh came in from the playing field, fairly tackling you as they celebrated your victory. Buffeted on all sides by fervor and excitement, you were glad to feel Danny's steadying hand on your back; he handed the flag off to a bunch of players who ran to gloat at the other team, pulling you close to his side.
“Still good?” he asked. His smile was warm as he looked down at you.
You beamed. “Good? I feel amazing! I am the final girl, like you said! I can't believe I won!”
He laughed and gave you a victory kiss. “I can, kitkat. I knew you could do it.”
When things had settled back down and everyone was wiped of paint from the previous game, the flags were hidden again and another game started. You decided to stay with Josh for guard duty and let Danny run free, and you knew he was having a good time with Jake and Sam. You and Josh did a fine job as guards, taking people out as they tried to capture your flag, Josh giving you pointers on your aim until it wasn't half bad. Some sneaky player eventually got both of you from behind, though, and you could do nothing but watch as they made off with the flag.
“Maybe they'll get hit,” you said hopefully.
A few moments later, a victory roar was heard from the opposite base, and Josh gave you a wry smile.
“Or not,” he said cheerfully. He put his arm around your shoulders. “You still won the first one, though, so I'd say we did alright.”
The game was slated to go on as long as people wanted to play, but you and the boys took your leave when that round was over. Cleaning and packing up your gear, you decided to meet at the diner for a celebratory dinner in the wee hours of the morning.
Over cups of decaf and plates of wonderfully greasy diner food, the five of you sat comfortably squeezed in the cracked vinyl booth and relished in your victory. “Time Warp” from Rocky Horror warbled from the ancient jukebox in the corner, and as you sat shoulder to shoulder with the twins and across from Sam and Danny, you felt yourself smile at the comfort and closeness of your little family.
While the Kiszkas replayed every moment of the glorious battle, you and Danny snuck out to the parking lot for a smoke. It was a bit of a tradition now, and you snuggled close in the warm pools of light spilling from the diner windows.
“I think we should make this a new tradition,” Danny said. “You winning the annual paintball game.”
You laughed. “We can try, anyway.” You tucked your hand under his jacket. “Thanks for inviting me. And for staying with me.”
“I love you,” he said simply. “I’m glad you came.”
You watched the cars go by, said hello to the diner cat who often roamed around looking for scraps of bacon or a friendly pet. Danny pulled another cigarette from his pocket.
“You want to see a magic trick?” he asked. “It’s almost as cool as when you pulled the flag out.”
You watched his hand. “Sure. Show me.”
He did some fancy moves with the cigarette as you wondered what exactly you were watching for, and you were so busy watching his hands that you didn't notice what the real trick was.
“Abracadabra,” he said, and snuck a kiss.
You giggled and pushed him away. “That was a terrible magic trick!” you protested.
He smiled. “So you don't want me to do it again?”
You wound your arms around his neck. “I didn't say that.”
He kissed you and held you close, and you decided it wasn't such a bad magic trick after all.
“I love you,” he said sweetly. “Happy Halloween, my final girl. I hope you survive every movie and take me with you.”
You laughed and looked up into his beloved face, thinking you'd much rather be in the romcom you were in right now, but with Danny, you'd be happy with anything, even a slasher flick.
“Aw, Danny.” You gave him a kiss. “Me too.”

[The future of this BLOG]: SHOWS I'm planning on analyzing here & on YouTube
Interview with the vampire
Invincible
House of the dragon
The boys
Umbrella acadamy
Bridgerton probably (still haven't had time to watch part 2 yet)
stranger things: I have mixed feelings about reviewing it given what certain staff has said and done. I oscilate between wanting to review the final season or wanting to boycott it (especially as someone who has been part of the BDS movement for 1/2 her life). But, on one hand, It's not the fault of the underpaid (and talented) writers and staff who don't have these views. And I do believe some of the writing staff may have good intentions and want to give us a positive and powerful message to the audience about healing from childhood tr*uma. However, other members of the writing staff may just want to go down the stereotypical and popular-easy route. We'll just have to wait and see what happens in the last season. If I hear the ending isn't simply another re-hashing of prior seasons and it's more like s1-2 (without the cliches of s3-4). I'd be more inclined to review it by *cough* and watching it elsewhere. Once I was logged back on to tumblr: I did have a whole draft saved about my politics since I was a kid and why I still feel so strongly about such conflicts, today . But, I shouldn't make the topic about me- and I'm not sure anyone wants to hear my life story XD. So, the big point (to my followers) is regardless of whether I chose to watch it or boycot it-
I'm not deleting the old ST content: so do what you want with it (like, reblog, add details to reblogs I didn't notice). Have fun :D !
Analyzing ST certainly helped me improve in terms of media literacy (and it'll be beneficial for the future content I make). So even if it sometimes got messy here, I do appreciate all the positives the ST blog and followers brought to me.The kind words meant a lot. For those who want to unfollow me for my political beliefs , that's totally fine. That's your prerogative. For those who want to unfollow cause again ST was pretty much my whole blog: again I TOTALLY understand and I wish you the best :). I'm not going to judge, take away, or guilt anyone, for their choice of media they like. Enjoy it (I truly mean that).
For those who continue to follow my blog . I appreciate you SO MUCH! I've been gone from this blog for such a long time cause of school (and I appreciate those who stayed and were excited to see me again). The positive words meant a lot over the years. Everyone have a lovely day. Take care of yourselves.
Sincerely, Kay
ps: I'm open to other media suggestions too so you can drop them in my message box (recent films/ shows, mini/limited series, animation, heck i'm open to comedies and foreign media too). But, analyzing them will most likely be after the shows listed above .Right now I'm focusing on my national exam and my mental health. My first video will probably be in late August or early September. My test is August 20th. Hope everyone is doing well .I'm feeling much better mentally. Hope everyone is feeling the same way :)
for my 1st video I’ll just post it to youtube . But for other videos I may make a early access patreon (like a week before the next video comes out free on youtube). Have to google how all that works (or if there's better alternatives) . Totally fine if you can't afford it (you'll get to see it for free on youtube regardless :D) . I'll be honest . I'm primarily thinking of doing it cause I need to pay off those student loans and I'm trying to hopefully move out of state in a few years. Plus, I love analyzing media anyways (so making it a part time job would be a dream come true .

"Reo!" (Y/n) yelled in shock as the boy fell in the middle of practice, thankfully Baro caught before anything could happen.
"What happened?" Bachira wondered as Nagi and (Y/n) ran over to the boy. His breathing was pretty heavy and it looked like his face was getting redder and redder by the minute. Cautiously, (Y/n) put her hand on his forehead, flinching at how hot it was.
"He has a fever. Nagi, can you carry him to the nearest medic room."
The white haired boy quickly nodded his head and picked Reo up and ran out of the training hall.
"The rest of you continue practice. I will inform Ego-san what had happened. Please don't cause a ruckus."
"Sure!"
"Don't worry, I will keep them at bay."
"Everything will be fine." (Y/n) smiled at their words and ran out of the room, hoping that it was just a fever Reo had.
"(Y/n) is so considerate~" Gagamaru said as the others nodded in agreement.
"I wish I was Reo right now..."
"Same."
"So it's just a fever? Nothing more serious?" Nagi asked, trying to hide his concern as (Y/n) walked out of the medic room. The girl smiled at the gesture, knowing how close these two are.
"Yeah, the doctor said it is probably a seasonal flue. Reo should be up on his feet in a few days. You should go and finish the training, before Ego-san takes your phone privileges away."
"And you? I can't leave Reo alone." Nagi said nervously as (Y/n) patted his arm.
"No worries! I will stay here and take care of him. Ego-san will send one of the senior staff members to fill in my manager duties for the next few days."
Nagi's short lived nervousness and worry died down as he realized what that meant. The boy slowly leaned down and blinked at (Y/n).
"What do you mean you won't be with us during training?"
"I can hardly be with Reo and you guys at the same time." (Y/n) answered. Nagi's eyes were dotted for a moment, then it looked like a light bulb had gone off and he started coughing.
"Oh! I don't feel well either... Seems like I have to stay with you and Reo-"
"Nagi Seishiro, get back to training... and never try your hand in acting." Ego's voice came from one of the speakers and (Y/n) laughed at the statement, as Nagi didn't do well in that department. The boy huffed and after a minute or two he agreed to go, although reluctantly.
Sighing, she walked back into the room and the nurse gave her some instructions on which medicine she should give him and what to do when the fever gets higher. (Y/n) was also given a new meal list that the boy will have to follow.
'Some of this food makes me realize how lucky I am to still be healthy.' (Y/n) cringed and ran out to get the lunch.
A while later (Y/n) came back with the food, just in time as Reo was waking up. She put the tray down and walked over to where the boy was trying to sit up.
"Don't get up so fast. Your head will start spinning!" (Y/n) warned as she helped the boy up and lean against his pillow.
"What happened?" Reo asked, feeling his face get even redder at the closeness.
"Nothing much, you seemed to have caught a seasonal flue or something. Ego-san said that you will stay here for the next few days, so practice in canceled for you."
"Oh? Sorry... I didn't want to cause any issues. Why are you here though? Shouldn't you be with the team?" Reo wondered as (Y/n) went to get the tray with food.
"I am here to take care of you. Ego-san already called in for someone to do my manager job. Everything will be fine." (Y/n) grinned as the purple-haired boy blinked at her words, her words slowly registering in his brain.
'Take care...of me?! Wait! She will stay here with me for the next few days? Alone?! Breath, Reo! Play it cool! Losing it in front of (Y/n) will be of no use.' The boy gulped and even though he was sick, he felt a weird bubble of happiness light up inside of him.
And so, truthfully to (Y/n)'s words for the next few days she barely left Reo's side during the day. Whatever he needed she would get for him, check his temperature and talk over the most random things while (Y/n) was cleaning up for the day. Reo himself felt at peace after a very long time, knowing he was cared for so much by his own crush really meant a lot to him.
'She looks even prettier today than yesterday. I wonder how the others are doing without her... must suck being them!'
3 days have passed and while Reo was enjoying his time being sick, the rest...well they didn't like this new arrangement at all. Not only will Reo miss out the practices for the next few days, but (Y/n) will also be gone. Nagi didn't like any of this, the substitute manager didn't allow him to play on his phone during the break. Baro, Rin and Isagi got punished by running 5 laps for every argument, Aryu was forced to tie up his hair in a bun, Bachira was called for a time off every time he went above what was needed for the exercise and Gagamaru... well he couldn't take any more criticism on his stance at the goal, since it was the most comfortable one for him.
"This is unbearable... When is (Y/n) coming back?" Chigiri whispered as he untangled his hair.
'I miss (Y/n)'s way of tying it."
"I don't know, but I can't do this running for too long." Isagi groaned along with Rin. The two already had 2 arguments.
"I don't like this guy at all." Baro muttered.
"What are we supposed to do? Ego-san ordered her to take care of Reo. Lucky bastard..." Otoya said, glaring at the new manager, who was busy scolding Bachira and Kurona for playing rough again.
"I hate this training. If only he would stop telling me every 2 minutes to change the way I stand... (Y/n) always encourages me to do it my way." Gagamaru groaned, taking a sip of his water.
Nagi didn't speak at all, he was in a foul mood ever since that incident happened, and not being able to play on his phone and see both (Y/n) and Reo was taking a toll on him.
Kunigami kept on sulking, as the new man kept telling him to slow down at certain times, Yukimiya and Karasu got scolded at least 3 times for joking and not taking anything seriously. Hiori by now was the only one who was on the new manager's good side.
"That guy pisses me off more than Kaiser." Kurona said, sitting down next to Karasu.
"Welcome to the club. His stuck up nature explains why he isn't a manager." Kunigami said, missing the way practice used to be less stressful.
"My monster is telling me to kick a ball in his face next time." Bachira grinned.
"I would say don't... but please do." Rin groaned.
"Why are Niko and Hiori pissed?" Isagi wondered as the others turned to look at them.
"Huge issue! We need to speak with Ego-san!"
"I wish Reo never got sick or miraculously gets better!"
"Yeah, you are not the only one who wants that." Baro rolled his eyes.
"No! That new guy just trash talked (Y/n) to a staff member and said he will ask Ego-san to get a new manager." Niko and Hiori yelled at the same time. An eerie silence fell on the group and they snapped their eyes at the duo.
"What?! What do you mean change managers?!" Isagi yelled out, being the first one to get out of the shock, followed by Chigiri and Bachira.
"Alright, I am throwing hands then if that's what he wants." Bachira said, but got held back by Yukimiya.
"Did you two hear that even right? (Y/n) does a great job." Gagamaru asked as Niko nodded his head.
"We heard him talk about it outside. We need to talk with Ego-san or Teieri-san!" Hiori exclaimed.
"Hmmm... Isagi, Baro, Kunigami and I will go talk with Ego-san. The rest of you stay here and cause as much ruckus for that bastard as possible." Rin spoke up as the others nodded their heads. As much as the boy tried to keep his calm, he really couldn't. Rin held (Y/n) to a great standard and anyone who tarnished her like that man did deserves at least to lose his job.
"Your fever went down! Maybe one more day of rest and medication, and you are free to go!" (Y/n) exclaimed as Reo nodded his head. He was happy that he was getting better, but he will miss these past few days where (Y/n) gave him her full, undivided attention.
'Man... this day is both good and sad.'
"Ya know! I am happy to see you play again!" (Y/n) suddenly said, causing the girl to look up at her in surprise.
"Really? My skills are nothing special though. Far away from Nagi, Isagi or Rin." Reo said, and he really meant it. Although he had Nagi on his side while playing, he was far from his genius best friend when it comes to talent. That alone caused a flood of insecurities to enter his body whenever (Y/n) would watch the team play, as he knew she probably had her eyes more on the skilled players like Isagi or Rin or Baro.
"What do you mean? Not everyone can copy as fast as you can, basically make themselves invisible. Just because you aren't like Rin or Isagi or anyone on the team, doesn't mean you aren't a great player." (Y/n) started speaking, and Reo's full attention was now on her. The boy could feel his heartbeat quicken and his cheeks started to turn a light pink shade.
"Y-you think so?"
"Of course! You survived this long because of your own skills, not Nagi's. Don't put yourself down. I for one, find you great!" (Y/n) said, giving him a closed eyes smile. Reo felt his heart nearly leave his chest at the last part.
He was about to answer back when the doors to the medic room opened rather quickly, startling the duo.
"What?"
'Not now... we had a moment!' Reo groaned as he made the voices of Chigiri and Bachira out.
"(Y/n)! Please come back, this is getting unbearable!" Bachira said, running to Reo's bed where (Y/n) was.
"What do you mean?" She wondered.
"What Bachira wants to say is... this substitute manager sucks." Chigiri said honestly.
"He is strict and yells at us for no reason most of the time. Aryu even has to wear his hair in a bun." (Y/n) winced a little at that part, knowing Aryu hates that a lot.
"So I am guessing you are disappointed in the arrangement Ego-san and I came up with..." The girl laughed nervously as the other two nodded their heads.
"Well not really. Please tell us you are coming back soon." A pouting Bachira said as he tugged on (Y/n)'s shirt. The girl looked between the duo and Reo before sighing.
"Well, Reo should be up on his feet and training tomorrow, we are just waiting for what the nurse has to say." (Y/n) grinned, patting the said boy's back.
"Ahh that's good then." Chigiri and Bachira said in unison as Reo pouted a little.
'Well, at least I got compliments and care from her these past few days... It felt really nice to hear all that.' The purple-haired boy thought as he smiled softly.
'He really got all that care and attention from (Y/n) alone to himself... how do I make myself sick?!' Chigiri wondered.
'Do I need to take cold showers or pray for a flue now?' Bachira thought, trying to stop himself from glaring at Reo.
Meanwhile on the other side of the building, Ego was looking dumbfounded at the four boys in front of him.
"What do you mean fire her? She is the only one who could put up with you idiots."
"That's what we said! So you won't listen to him?" Rin questioned as Ego nodded his head.
"I won't. Now get out of my office, I will deal with that man."
"Thank you, Ego-san." Isagi said, genuinely feeling relieved that the man was on their side.
"I still think we should beat him up."
Baro whispered to Kunigami, who nodded his head.

i forgot that tilly was asked to be the first officer of discovery in the third season. and, I think how mind-blowing that is. i like discovery a lot but sometimes the writers make truly mind-boggling choices.
i forgot that tilly was just a cadet in s1 and then an ensign.
making her an (acting) first officer, while still an ensign, was a bizarre choice. (harry kim is crying somewhere)
especially since nilsson and rhys take control of the bridge when the command team is out.
unfortunately, the way discovery is configured we don't really know most of the bridge crew.
or, maybe it would have been better if a new character was introduced as their 32nd-century guide and as a temporary XO.
but also, who is the senior staff of discovery? do we know?
i assumed that culber was CMO all this time only to find out from interviews he wasn't the CMO.
stamets can't be the chief engineer since he's science division and he mans the spore drive function and not the whole ship. i assume its jett reno.
who was the head of security when nhan left? is it rhys??? why is booker (who I really like) memory alpha listed the head of security of discovery (season 4)??? he's not starfleet.
i just realized the whole problem why they got tilly as acting first officer is because I don't think any of the writers in seasons 2 to 3 of discovery sat down and solidified the hierarchy on the ship other than captain.
it's so nebulous and it doesn't need to be nebulous.
it's like how inconsistent the ranks are on SNW uniforms.
i know these are nitpicks but these are details that help build out the world. and it's such an easy thing to address too, it's frustrating they don't.
and this is on the discovery writers for not taking the time to iron it out. i understand they want to focus on different people and keep the heroics away from the bridge, other than saru and michael. but that doesn't excuse how lazily they went about it.
anyway this is just a bug bear that I stumbled on when I remembered how tilly was made into acting first officer of discovery. it didn't niggle at me back then but somehow rewatching voyager and a lot of other trek made me realize, I can actually pinpoint the line of command on each show but stumble on it when it comes to discovery seasons 3 and 4.
again, i think this is why season 5 is doing a great job. wilson cruz said that by season 5 he might as well be the CMO, so I'm taking that as canon.
this is what happens when every season and episode is just one story of crisis situations without any standalone downtime episodes.
(this is also a problem for picard s3. it's the single story and 10 episode thing. it ties the hands of writers.)
what i wouldn't give for a discovery episode where the ship is just doing routine maintenance. follow an engineering team down a jeffries tube, watch them have a boring senior staff meeting where all department heads report to michael.
(wait, have we seen discovery do a senior staff meeting scene?)
have rayner sit down and manage personnel.
honestly, i think the trek that does the best in doing personnel, handling extras, and making a realized world is still ds9.
#worldbuilding#star trek discovery#this is not a post trashing disco#please don't do that#this is juts me working out nitpicks

Would you say that Bucchigiri is Utsumi's sophomore slump (coming off of SK8)? I was hoping for so much from this one, and yet it seemed like she and Taku Kishimoto were making so many wrong decisions here during its production. MAPPA's influence probably didn't help matters either.
Well, according to Utsumi from the Spoon 2.di article I read, she didn't really know what to make with this one so it was kind of a group project. She really wanted to make SK8 and she asked for pretty much all the staff that worked with her on it personally. It was very much a passion project for her.
For this one this one she said she was already making SK8 and didn't know what to make when they asked her to make another original series, so she discussed it with the producers at MAPPA and they all agreed on a yanki show, and then it took them a long time to decide on the Arabian Nights theme after that. She suggested a few different ideas and the other producers decided they liked the Arabian Nights theme best. She was assigned Kishimoto to be the writer, but she hadn't met him before. Things like that.
Here's something from the interview with Kishimoto in Spoon 2.di 107
Q: Kishimoto-san, it seems that you initially proposed a bit cooler story but Utsumi-san asked you to add some comedy to it. How did you feel when you heard that request? A: If I had to say, I've had a lot more work reorganizing and rearranging the structure of manga to adapt it into an anime. I'm not the type of person who naturally has a lot of stories and characters bubbling out of me, so when I make things I unconsciously drift toward making formulaic stories of cool heroes who always win. When I do that though, the characters I make are very stereotypical, and so when I submitted the first draft to director Utsumi and MAPPA's Otsuka-san, they said "The flow of the story is good, but the characters feel really stereotypical." It was then I was asked, "What were you like when you were Arajin's age?" I wasn't good-looking, so I figured if I just directly confessed to a girl I liked I'd be rejected, and so I thought I had to try even harder than other people. I'd give girls poems, and if that didn't work I'd carve the girl's name into a stone and give it to them, and I made it my goal in life to make that girl love me. So I told them I really couldn't be used as a reference for anything. But when I said that, they said "That's so interesting!" I felt like someone like that could never be a main character, or rather, I had ruled it out because I felt like it would be crazy to have a main character who acted like that! Since I was rejected for being so creepy in real life, after all (lol). But the two of them said it was interesting, so Arajin's weird parts became my weird parts and by adding my weird parts into him, it naturally became a comedy. So, rather than trying to write a comedy or making it become a comedy, I just added my own silly parts in order to give the character a personality, and it ended up developing into that because of the character's personality.
So the whole reason Arajin is who he is (someone everyone hates lol....) is because he's based off Kishimoto himself. I don't know what the story was like before but I really can't agree the flow of the story is good now... but yeah.... that's how we ended up here.

Ok, so the summary of today's day (it's fun, you know I'm a writer, so I can make it fun):
Before the concert+the concert
I went out. It didn't rain. I got to the city centre and it was raining like hell, but of course I didn't have an umbrella... I had my leather jacket though. Leather jackets are useful, because you can take them off and cover your hair and they don't get wet. But when I got there, it stopped raining, yay! Lucky me 😆
I got there maybe an hour before the doors? I would get an usual spot at the barrier on the side, but a girl was keeping it for her friend, so I let them have it and went to the middle. It was scary at first, because I never know what my happen and it's hard for me to stand for too long (which everyone knows, because I talk about it here a lot), but as usual the BC fandom here is very chill and most people were super nice and friendly and polite to each other, it's one of the main reasons why I love their concerts so much 💖
Most of the time I didn't see much, but Joel and Joonas got many interactions, if I find videos of those, I'll let you know! I had Joel right in front of me almost all the time, I could see his red snoot and wet upper lip, and he hit his face with the chain all the damn time... this guy 😆. Honestly, I had more fun there, in the 3rd row, than at the barrier on the side. Maybe it's because I was close to Joel, dunno 🤣. But it was probably my best BC concert so far, because I finally managed to relax and my anxiety was on a very low level. It really makes a huge difference!
Oh, and of course I lost my hairband with a big red bow. All because of Ghostkid's vocalist! I was filming Dark Side and he got near the crowd, I had no idea he was going to jump into it, because I'm small, I barely can see what's going on with everyone around being so tall. So he knocked off my hairband and I managed to catch my classes on time 😭. But I did catch him somehow, I made sure he didn't fall. Also damn, this guy is so light! Even with my health issues I feel like I could carry him myself easily. Also I'm not super sad about the hairband, if someone found it they can keep it, it's just a funny story 😂. If I lost my glasses, THEN I'd be upset. Because glasses are expensive. Btw I literally have it on video, I have proof! It's the funniest part of it 🤣
We also got another "kurwa bob" moment and Niko got a flower crown in the colors of the Polish flag! I even managed to take a quick photo (as I said, my camera is shite):
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/390a9a919c0fd9eaa9021fe82ced43b4/f693b931d33ac048-57/s640x960/ec61e1afc2724e93a6b8fb00532a040bf685aa7b.jpg)
(he took it off soon after, so I was lucky to catch this moment on my camera, also hi Joel you look awful here, but so do I in most of the photos and you're still my fave edgelord 💖)
Meeting the band after the concert
I wasn't sure if it was worth to wait for them. It was still a bit rainy and the last day bus was leaving in 30min (night buses arrive only every 30min, so it's a pain in the ass). Most people have left, there weren't many of us left, maybe ~20 people waited? But I thought I don't get to see them live that often, so what the hell, I'll wait.
There were staff members and guys from the supporting bands walking around freely (everyone is always polite and we let them work in peace, it's why I love the fans here, they don't chase anyone away 💖), even Olli just walked around unbothered (I think only I noticed him at that time tbh, but I ain't a snitch hehe).
Tommi and Aleksi just went to the bus and it's understandable. Tommi is just Tommi and Aleksi was sick. All of the other guys actually stayed with us to talk and I've never had such a long interaction with them before! I feel even luckier and I'm so happy that I stayed 😍
I think everyone knows Joel is sick, so we didn't want to bug him too much. He was nice enough to let us take some photos and let us give him hugs, and he was pretty much braindead 😂. But it's understandable, he's usually braindead and he's also sick, so it's worse. I'm happy I could give him a proper hug this time, because the first time I met him I was too scared for one. The 2nd time I asked for one and patted his shoulder nervously. But this time? I just hugged him with no fear! I'm making progress here 💖
Niko is always the most friendly one, so we had a chat with him and he asked what does kurwa mean (really dude? you have no google in your phone?) and I told him it's like vittu, other people added more information, and I said he should google it, he'll find funny things. Niko, please. Just google it, dude 😂.
I also hugged him and he has a really soft coat, which other girls pointed out and he joked he's wearing nothing underneath, because he's Finnish and isn't cold (a deja vu moment, because there was exactly the same situation in Poznań before: "Niko, aren't you cold?" "No, I'm Finnish"), so I also told him it used to be much colder here in general, because we did have very cold winters before. It's always fun talking to Niko 💖
The next one was Olli, but I'm leaving Olli for the last part of the story, because it's the best. Now, I did hug Joonas and got a photo with him, but my brain is totally blank if we actually did talk to him. I think not really? Uh, dunno 😂. But it was a positive interaction as well 💖
Now, Olli. Everyone knows I just couldn't like the guy because of his crazy stans, so I was "meh" about him, but actually meeting him properly just changed my mind. He's really easy to talk to! But I really didn't think I'd manage to come up with an interesting topic, I usually have nothing to say and I'm horrible at asking questions.
My brain decided to ask him about Silent Library. It basically went like:
Me: "So I watched this show, Silent Library Suomi, and you were getting all these red cards. Was it done like that on purpose, or was it just a coincidence?
Olli (grinning): "it's called back luck"
Now, if you watched their vlogs and he had those funny moments with puns everyone loved, IT WAS LIKE ONE OF THOSE MOMENTS. But I don't have it on the camera (which is ok, I did that just for myself).
He explained it really was accidental and no one was plotting against him (I did joke that Joel maybe did 😂). I think he enjoyed talking about it, because I doubt anyone would get an idea to ask him about this show (though I might be wrong).
So here you go, it's called bad luck. That's it. I got the info from the man himself 😂
But, there's more. The girl who was taking photos of us had a malfunctioning phone and accidentally took a photo of his feet and he was wearing flip flops (she did show it to him too lmao). I'll share it as soon as I get it. Also she came up with a joke that I already told her I'm going to steal:
OlliFans
(feet pic coming soon 👌)
We all laughed really loud at it (Olli wasn't there anymore, so we=us girls), so I'm releasing it into the world, because it can't be kept in containment 😂
That's it for now, more video content coming tomorrow (cause I'm tired)

Been thinking about the inordinate amount of time spent filming the Faks' trying to solicit money from the Berzatto family to fund their ridiculous baseball card business scheme in Fishes. The writers devoted not one but two pretty lengthy scenes in this chaotic episode for this plotline that essentially is laughed off as stupid during both conversations. Jimmy actually slaps them and Stevie says he'll give them the $500 just so he can see their reaction to the supposed "legit" cards. Knowing this show and the importance it places on the smallest of details, I wanted to try and decipher what the purpose of the plotline is and why it was given so much time on screen.
This isn't the first time we've seen Fak advocating for something he wanted. Most times, people don't take him seriously unless it's actually handyman jobs for the restaurant. We've seen him try to convince Richie to let him work at The Beef in season 1, which led to two grown men tussling on the floor and Fak ratting out Richie for selling coke. But eventually, they accept him as part of the staff. He now works FOH, which is a huge upgrade from handyman.
But that was what Fak wanted in season 1. What Fak seems to want most in season 2, what he's been shown to advocate the most for, is Carmy being with Claire. Fak was instrumental in giving Claire access to Carmy (giving her Carmy's cellphone number), and said on multiple occasions that Claire is great (even says "we love her" in s2 ep9). Out of all the people who seem to want Carmy with Claire, Fak is the biggest supporter.
The show makes a huge point to show in Fishes that what Fak wanted then, the baseball card scheme, didn't have a hope of succeeding. Jimmy didn't entertain the idea and Stevie only did so for his personal amusement. It could be that the writers were hinting at the inevitable downfall of Carmy and Claire's short-lived relationship via the silly scheme. The only reason Fak's advocation for their relationship wasn't laughed off was because others wanted this relationship for Carmy as well.

Early Wizard School Mysteries Concept Art Pt. 1: 2017 & 2018
Wizard School Mysteries Book 3: Wicked Witchcraft has been available for purchase in paperback and kindle editions for about a week now, and to do my due diligence as this series' author, editor, and marketing executive, I've gotta make a post about it to annoy you all with so that maybe more people read it and build up a bigger audience for the next one.
So! To accomplish that in a way I find palatable, I've dug up some very old concept art for the series, and am going to parade it out for your enjoyment! Come, look upon my old art and despair be inspired to buy my books!
We're going to start with the earliest sketches I could find, which is from 2017. I kind of adore how ridiculously enormous I made James's hat in this early sketch - it's so huge that he actually has a strap to keep it on his head (look close, you can see it!). His design has a lot of touches from Wizardmon that didn't make it to the final product, namely the abundance of stitches and false faces on his outfit. He's also got a sort of ascot which I'm pretty sure is an homage to Fred from Scooby Doo, because he's in the same role as Fred in our Mystery Solving Teens group. Jesus, that's a big hat.
2017 Ivan doesn't seem too different on a surface glance, though his outfit feels too clean/new to me. It looks nice, but doesn't convey a lot of his character to me.
Ew, 2017 Gretchen, why are you white? Well, ok, the clear answer is because you're just Wizard Velma Dinkley at this point, but hey, at least you've got your iconic scarf!
Jesus Crumbs, I really did not give my human characters enough skull above the eyes to contain a proper brain, did I? A lot of Margot's key visuals are still present here - the gauntlet, the high collar, the partially armored boots - but just, you know, a bit worse, a bit less uniquely designed. She's called Joan at this point because hey, it's from 2017, when the author who everyone associated with wizard schools whose first name happens to be Joanne hadn't gone fully mask off about being a TERF yet, and I could name a wizard character I like "Joan" without worrying that people might think it's a reference to said writer (when it was intended as a reference to Joan of Arc instead).
2017 Rodrigo is pretty recognizable, actually. Kinda weird to me that I had his look pinned down so early compared to the others - though his staff here definitely doesn't fit his status as the most well-off wizard of the bunch, so I can see why I changed it to something more sleek later.
By contrast, 2017 Serena is basically a completely different character on every level. No magical girl trappings, no pigtails, I don't think she was even Asian yet. The name "Cerrigwen" had been given to at least one other character I ended up scrapping for a different project before this, and I'd thought I found a home for it here, but obviously not (though a Cerrigwen did get mentioned as a historical important wizard in WSM Book 2, so maybe I'll find a story for her eventually). Serena's role in the Mystery Solving Teens dynamic is "the weird one," but for whatever reason I wrote "the Joy and the Laughter" here instead. I do think Serena's personality is shining from this design, even if none of the actual details are recognizable - the manic bubbliness here would carry on in all future designs.
Charlotte also looks recognizable at first glance, and I think in some ways she's more explicitly monstrous/nonhuman here. I don't know if that's to her benefit, though? The gangly limbs feel very awkward, like they don't quite fit her frame, and her face is a bit too inexpressive (also holy shit that hat is hilariously too small, it's the opposite of 2017 James's hat). I like the hairy feet and fingers, but it does kinda bog down her design with unnecessary detail.
Holy Christ 2017 Polybeus, you're a fucking nightmare. What's going on with your face? And why are you so skinny? Why are all these people so goddamn skinny?
Let's move to the next year, I don't like looking at this guy. He looks like he'd be voiced by Pauly Shore or Andy Dick. Awful.
2018 James takes the 2017 design and refines it a bit - still has the ascot, has even MORE Wizardmon style false faces and stitches, still has the enormous hat, just all tightened up a bit. I think the problem with this look comes through when comparing the polished design with the sketches I abandoned halfway through above it - namely, the freaky Wizardmon look just doesn't fit with the quiet, deep-thinking personality James is supposed to exude. It looks rad as hell, yes, but it's flashy and chaotic in an attention-claiming way, which doesn't fit James's analytical nature. Good design elements that just didn't fit the character they were slapped onto.
2018 Ivan is also a refinement of his 2017 self, and I like his wacky little pose here - it really communicates his accident prone nature. But he still feels too polished, the outfit can be pushed farther.
Gretchen's looking a bit more like herself now - she's got more layers draping over her body, longer hair to cover her face, and the little tassels on the end of her scarf. Is she still white, or was I just a coward who thought I could just give her a dark skin tone while still drawing her with a straight bob cut and call it good? Not sure.
Margot's getting closer to her current self too - slightly longer face and nose, a bun where her pony tail will eventually go, and I think she's got broader shoulders than her first design? The gauntlet still doesn't feel like it's got the right personality but it's a bit more unique than the first take, and that's progress.
The only big differences I see with 2018 Rodrigo and his current self - beyond the fact that I got better at drawing humans (still not enough room in this drawing's cranium for a human brain) - is that I kinda toned him down from here. This Rodrigo's more or less his current self, but more flamboyant.
Alright, Serena's definitely Asian here, and her costume feels more distinct than her 2017 self, but still doesn't really match her personality. I definitely wanted her outfit to showcase her energetic nature, but the big bulky layers just don't fit. She needs bows and ribbons!
Ok, Charlotte's coming together better too! Still a bit too awkardly gangly, but her face is getting that sweet, friendly look a bit better.
oh thank god
2018 Polybeus is such an upgrade. His outfit's pretty close to what he'd end with, and he's beginning to get that onion-esque hairdo his modern self has, although here it's a bit more like devil horns, befitting his status as an antagonist-turned-ally. Still too thin, though, you gotta start weight training Poly!
That's it for part 1! Next we're skipping to 2020, because for whatever reason I don't have any sketches from 2019.

Screen Wrecked || A Seth MacFarlane AU
Chapter One: Decisions & Diatribe Romantic Pairing: Seth x OFC Tags: Awkward flirting, power dynamics (nothing too intense for the first chapter) Summary: [Alternate Universe] She's a writer down on her luck looking for a big break. He's the powerful CEO of a giant production studio and he wants her as his very personal assistant. Notes: This is an RPF but also an alternate universe. It gives me more room to play around with the idea I had. Not much is different about this universe when it comes to Seth other than he's the owner and CEO of a powerful production company. Seems like a logical step for someone like him anyway. Disclaimer: Absolutely nothing in this story is meant to reflect Seth in real life. That's why it's an alternate-universe setting, of course. The main character is just an original character I created.
"I didn't actually think I would be hired to write for the show let alone become full time staff. I don't fit in here. Nothing about this is working." She sighed as she watched the bathroom door. The last thing she needed was for someone to walk in on her talking about this job in such a bad way.
"You wanted your foot in the door this is your foot in the door. Whatever it takes, remember?"
"I remember but when they figure out I'm kind of a fraud I'm going to be out of here anyway."
"Fake it as long as you can to find the right person to take you to the next level. You have the talent now you just need the opportunity."
"Fine. Fine. I just want it on record that I already said this was a bad idea." She ended the call and slipped her phone into her back pocket. As argumentative as she could be, she also knew that Clare was right. Maybe what she was doing now wasn't the most exciting job in the world but she was working for a TV studio on a huge lot. A lot that also made movies and saw various celebrities and producers coming in and out all the time.
Unfortunately she'd now wasted fifteen minutes of her lunch break which meant she only had fifteen minutes more. That left her with precious little time to hurry out of there to get to the cafeteria to hopefully grab a sandwich and a soda to make it back to her desk in time. She was supposed to have the latest draft for the newest episode complete by the end of the day and she didn't want to have to work late again.
Hurrying down the hall and towards the elevator she ignored the vibrations from her phone as they continued to go off since she figured they were probably just from Clare sending her messages of encouragement. By the time she'd gotten to the elevator and pushed the button the notifications had gotten annoying enough that she had to take the damn thing out of her pocket to at least put it on do not disturb.
There was a ding as the elevator arrived and she took a step forward not looking up from her phone as she did. Which turned out to be a big mistake because she ran right into *him*. This made his coffee spill from the cup he was holding and splash all over his white shirt. Some designer looking fashion that would have cost her a month of her salary if not more.
"Oh my god I am so sorry." She breathed wanting to attempt to make eye contact but also being afraid of it. She knew who this was. Everyone knew who this was. He owned the entire studio. No one could go anywhere around there without hearing about Seth MacFarlane .
"It's okay," he laughed, "I didn't really like this shirt anyway and the stain kind of looks like Elvis, well, maybe if he was melting." She blinked a few times trying to process what was going on. He wasn't mad? Why? Shouldn't he be calling for security to have her escorted off of the lot?
"Yeah I guess it does but still I um...let me make it up to you." She offered. The doors closed behind them and she turned to press the button to open them again. "Were you getting off here?"
"No I was going down." He nodded, "And you?"
"Yeah me too. Guess we'll be getting off together." She paused then laughed nervously realizing what she said and how it sounded. "I mean like on the same floor not uh...the other thing."
"Other thing?"
She couldn't tell if he honestly didn't know what she meant by that or was just trying to pull her leg and get her to stick her foot in her mouth even more. It was hard not to gaze at him in complete awe. Before he'd become the studio owner he'd also been a writer, actor, director, producer, pretty much everything she'd always wanted to be. The only difference was that he was stunningly gorgeous and she didn't feel like she'd ever been much to look at.
"Never mind." She whispered and pushed back some of the hair that had fallen out of the clip she'd used to put it up in the bathroom.
"Do you really want to make it up to me?" He asked, leaning against the wall to the elevator.
"Yes because I'm so sorry and it will never happen again. I swear." She sighed, "I'm just so...it's not your problem really so never mind all of that."
"You're having problems here?"
"No, I mean, yes but not with anyone specifically everyone has been super nice I just don't think I'm the right person for the job on the show that I've been writing for." She tried to explain without getting into all of the details. He kind of motioned in her direction and she blinked a few times trying to figure out what he was indicating. That was when she realized she hadn't even pushed the button for the ground floor. "Oh fuck sorry...I mean...not fuck..."
"It's okay." He laughed. "Deep breaths you're doing fine." With a nod she reached out and pressed the button for the ground floor. The elevator started to move then there was a rusty screeching sound. The lights above them flickered then shut off as the elevator came to a halt.
"Fu-n." She managed to correct herself at the last moment.
"Do you really think I don't know what you were going to say?" He chuckled again and seconds later the orange glow of the emergency lights flickered on. At least they weren't in pitch black anymore. He stepped forward and pressed the emergency call button, though it didn't seem to do anything either. "What was your name again?"
"Lisa." She said, "Lisa Brixton."
"Ah the new hire for Quantum Echoes." He nodded. She arched a brow, surprised that he'd know anything about that. She guessed it mad some kind of sense but her low level compared to his much higher level position denoted that he wouldn't be bothered with that. "I read the spec script."
"You did? No one told me-"
"It's one of my favorite projects on this lot. Those scripts go through me from time to time. Especially when we need a new writer. I liked it. What makes you think you're not a good fit?"
"Oh well I'm much more into horror than sci-fi, hence the plot of my spec script being relatively horrific. I feel like the sci-fi part was understated for the actual content of the show and I'm really not great at writing science fiction. I just love Siara and wanted to give her some special redemption episode."
"She's a great character. Probably my favorite other than Captain Miller." He nodded then took a sip of what happened to be left in the coffee cup she had spilled. "Horror huh? You have any other spec scripts?"
"No, just actual screenplays and pilots I'm trying to get out there."
"About what?"
For a moment she was rendered speechless since she didn't think she'd get this far in the conversation or that he'd be interested. Probably had they not been stuck in an elevator like this then he wouldn't have but what else were they supposed to do other than talk until help came?
"Oh one of them is kind of a dark comedy horror thing about demons and demon hunters. I have another one that's just a mafia crime drama but I guess there's plenty of dark humor in that as well. Big fan of dark humor." She nodded glad that the orange of the lights in there hid how much she had to be blushing as she forced herself to talk about this to the most powerful guy in the studio.
"You know if you really don't feel like you fit with Quantum Echoes I may have a better position for you. It just opened up."
"Mmm okay what would that be?"
"Personal assistant."
She clenched her jaw as she had kind of been hoping that maybe, just maybe, he was going to offer her something else. However, she also knew that she really couldn't expect an immediate movie deal from him based off of what she had said and her minimal experience there. Being his person assistant would be a step up. She'd get to know him a lot more intimately and it would certainly open up the doors she'd been trying to open for years. She'd never do that as just a staff writer for a show she enjoyed but shouldn't have been writing for in the first place.
"Yeah I mean I'd love too if you think that's a good idea."
"You have any experience with it?"
"Way more than being a staff writer for an actual TV show. It's how I started my career out here."
"Smart move." He chuckled and leaned passed her to press the emergency button again. "The position I'm considering you for will probably be different than what you were doing previously, though."
"Oh? Well I'm a fast learner and I can adapt like that." She snapped her fingers on the last word. "I can send you my resume and recommendations if-"
"That won't be necessary." He said. "Be in my office tomorrow morning at eight and we'll get you started."
"What about my-"
"Don't worry I'm sure I can find them another writer to replace you if things work out." She grinned. Just as he was about to press the emergency button again there was static on the intercom then a voice informing them that things should be up and running in five minutes or so.
"Thank you, sir. I promise that I won't let you down."
"Don't start making promises until you know the details of the position." He said looking her right in the eyes as he spoke. Then he took another sip of his coffee.
"Details..."
"Nothing to be discussed here. You'll have to sign an NDA first."
"What kind of..." before she could finish the lights came back on and the elevator shuddered back to life. It started to descend to the ground floor once again. She looked at him her mind swirling with thoughts about what he could possibly be talking about when it came to this position as his assistant. Her mind went to sex, of course, probably something perverted or kinky.
*Whatever it takes. *
The mantra echoed through her head. She knew what she was doing here and no doubt he knew what this was as well. It couldn't have been any more obvious with him bringing this up right after she explained to him what she really wanted to do with her writing career. Still, there were worse things she could be doing to climb her way to the top. Worse people too. The doors opened and he stepped out in front of her before pausing and turning.
"You were right about us getting off together you know." He laughed and without another word he headed for the men's room probably in an intent to clean up his shirt. She felt her face heat up like crazy as she flushed with arousal and embarrassment. She wasn't sure why he'd be so interested in her but it didn't really matter. If this was her way into the life that she always wanted to have, she was going to take it.
*******
She didn't know how she was supposed to dress for this meeting but she chose to go with a business professional look. Something that she'd modeled after the other personal assistants she had seen around. Even if she had this job before it hadn't been for anyone nearly as high profile as Seth. She guessed she would find out soon enough.
When she arrived there was a secretary in the waiting area. A very annoyed looking woman with overfilled lips and an obvious boob job. She was filing her nails and seemed put out by having to actually do her job and tell Seth that someone was there for an appointment. She took a seat to wait for him but he was fairly punctual. It was a good thing since she hadn't wanted to wait long enough for the panic to set in and convince her to leave.
"Come on in, Lisa." He said and motioned for her to join him in his office. She'd never been in there before but it was huge and luxurious. At the same time it was cozy and warm. Not sterile and cold like she somehow expected it to be. "Have a seat." She looked at the chairs across from his desk and sat down.
"Thank you for seeing me, sir."
"Don't be so humble I don't like that. Besides I asked you here so the pleasure is all mine." He smirked and then opened the top drawer of his desk with a key. He removed two stacks of paper from in there and set them on the desk facing her. He slid the one on the right forward first. "There are two contracts for you to look over."
"I'm not really the best at legal speak unless you want me to take a few hours to really comprehend what's in here." She laughed softly.
"You can certainly take all the time you want but I can summarize it. I guess it's up to you to believe it or not." He said. She nodded and picked up the papers that he'd slid towards her first.
The first page was standard stuff. Mostly about privacy and a non disclosure agreement for being his assistant. On the next few pages were details of what was expected from her in this position and then a general dress code. All of it was familiar to her and things she'd done before.
"You can summarize this if you want but it's like every other contract I've signed for this job so I don't think you're trying to screw me or anything." She laughed.
"Ah don't speak too soon." He smirked and looked her over. She blinked a few times wondering what that was supposed to mean. "The standard contract which you are free to accept will pay 150 thousand a year with car allowance and-"
"I'm sorry what?"
"That's pretty much the going rate for good personal assistants, isn't it?"
"Well 100k and um not a car allowance so..."
"Anyone ever tell you that you're too honest for your own good? Look if you want a decent place to live here and a car that works you need the salary. I also can't have my assistant driving...what is it you drive?"
"A 2016 Toyota." She said. It was old and had a lot of miles but still worked. Mostly. It probably wouldn't be that way for long.
"Yeah so that's not going to be reliable or flashy and I can't have people thinking someone who works for me has that car. No offense." He sighed. "Look I'm really not this narcissistic it's the business you know? Appearances and all that."
"I understand sir. Please continue." She said knowing that she was making half what he just offered as a staff writer and was living with roommates. The new salary would allow her to get her own place and in a better part of town.
"It also includes medical and dental and paid vacation time. Oh also a Christmas bonus depending on how well the studio does this year. Any questions?"
"Not about this." She looked up and motioned to the other stack of papers which was obviously another contract she just couldn't read it from where it was on the desk.
"This is another contract for a very personal assistant." He said. "Don't freak out. I'm offering, sure, but you can say no and still keep the regular job it won't come up again." He said. "No pressure."
"Very personal assistant?" She knew this had to be a sex thing but she was way more intrigue than repulsed. Also confused. Why her? "No offense sir but can't you have any woman on the planet?"
"Most of them yes but that's not what this is about." He chuckled. "This is about a power dynamic."
"I see." She said and sat up a bit more to try to get a glimpse of what the contract said but he put his hand over it quickly.
"Interested?"
"I can't say I'm not but I also can't say yes or no at this time. Can I at least think about it first?"
"Alright you have one week then the offer is off the table and I find someone else. For that job. As I said you can keep the normal one." He said. She nodded looking down at his hand then back up to his eyes. This wasn't going to be an easy decision.
"But if I'm your special personal assistant wouldn't that mean another person would-"
"No. You'd still be my personal assistant just with more benefits." He said. "And that's all you get to know...for now."
"How am I supposed to know if I want to agree to this if I don't know what else is in the contract."
"Life is about risks. The greater the risk the greater the reward. Up to you to decide. Not me." He said. "So if you are starting today there's a whole list of things I need you to get to by day's end." He grabbed a planner from his desk and held it out to her along with a pen. She took it and signed the first contract quickly not wanting that to be taken off the table for a second.
"I'll get right on it, sir and you'll have my answer within the week. Maybe less."
"Good to know." He said and turned to look at his computer. She watched him for a moment before heading out of there to start taking care of her list. The first task was a Starbucks run. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all. A new car. A new place to live and a job she was better suited for, even if it wasn't exactly the dream option. Yet try as she might, she couldn't get the idea of the second contract out of her head. She was positive it would torment her the rest of the day too.

Jack howl stole my heart and also sorry, idk any writer words so I have no idea what I'm asking for, but remember when Jack works at a restaurant as the "I lift heavy stuff" guy. Can you write something about him having a crush on a waitress there?? Go wild on what you think should happen or be said!! Tysm if you take my request ❤
Hello Hello! Yes I think I do, I believe it's in his Port Fest vignette? Unfortunately I don't know much about the Port Fest since I'm on the EN server and ended up missing the event when it came out on EN 😭 but I'll try my best from my knowledge! I'll write this as a one shot/drabble ^^
Warning(s): None
Content/Character(s): Jack Howl, fluff, Jack gains a cute little crush on a waitress.
"Thanks again for offering to help with these boxes Jack! With your muscle we should be done moving these boxes within no time!" Said an older man with a joyous laugh. This man was the owner of a restaurant near the Port. He was currently trying (and failing) to lift some heavy boxes that just arrived inside the restaurant, before Jack came along and offered to help, seeing the older man struggle to carry the shipment in.
Jack scratched his neck sheepishly, a light dust of pink coming to his face. "It's no problem really. You looked like you needed help, so I offered."
"Oh don't be so sheepish boy! If it weren't for your kindness, I'd probably be on the ground with a broken hip, hah!" The man said letting out another laugh as he watching Jack pick up another crate and bring it inside.
Jack sweatdropped at the comment, setting the crate down inside the back of the restaurant where everything was stored. Brushing wood particles off his hands he let out a sigh, "Ah, that should be the last of it."
"Splendid! Oh, before you go, would you mind helping me with one other thing?"
"Huh? Sure, I don't mind. What do you need help with?" Jack asked with a tilt of his head. Helping out some more shouldn't take too much longer, he didn't see any harm.
"Well you see, the Port Fest is coming up soon, and we're quite short on staff. I was wondering if you'd like to help me out with that problem temporarily! You'd be payed for your time of course! And you wouldn't be working long, just an hour or two. What do you say?" Asked the man as he gave Jack a pleading look.
Jack contemplated it, he said they were short on staff? Around this time? That definitely wouldn't be good for the workers, they would be so stressed. And he did have experience working in the Mostro Lounge, albeit only a little. And the look the manager was a giving him wasn't helping either. With a scratch of his head and a loud sigh, Jack caved.
And that's how he ended up here, currently working back and forth from taking orders and seating people. The manager wasn't kidding when he said they were short staffed, there seemed to be only 4 other people working, excluding himself. The restaurant was getting rather crowded. The day of the Port Fest was tomorrow, and some people had come by early to take everything in. Said people also just had to stop by and eat at the restaurant Jack was currently helping at. He sighed to himself, wondering if it was a good idea to take up this job. But seeing how stressed the other staff were, even with his help, cleared away his doubts.
Jack had just come back from taking someone's order and was on the way to the kitchen. However his mind began to be occupied with other mindless thoughts. Unbeknownst to him, he was so distracted he didn't see a little waitress holding a tray of drinks rushing over to some unhappy customers.
The two of them ended up colliding, the drinks spilling everywhere as the waitress fell on her bottom. Jack too a few steps back to balance himself after the collision, eyes wide from surprise.
Said waitress rubbed her side in pain, muttering a few curses to herself. Just great, this was her second time on the job and she has already to make some customers unhappy, run into someone, and spill the order of said unhappy customers all over the floor and herself. She was going to get fired for sure.
Jack knelt down to her level and offered her his hand, "Hey! Are you alright??." He asked her, eyebrows furrowed in worry. He waved someone over to clean up the mess and take care of the customers who just lost there drinks before turning back to the waitress. "Let's go to the staff room and get you cleaned up."
'Do I look alright!?' She thought, taking his hand with a huff as he brought her up from her sitting position.
Jack didn't know why, but he suddenly started to feel queazy. His face seemed to flush lightly at the feeling of her hand being placed in his as he lifted her up and brought her to the staff room. 'Her hand is so small compared to mine...' he thought before shaking his head with a face redder than before.
Once in the staff room, Jack handed her towels and napkins to wipe herself off with, which she thanked him for and used with little progress. "Ugh, my uniform is soaked with sweet tea, I have fruit chunks stuck in my hair, and I smell like a cocktail! This is the worst." She said with frustration, throwing the used napkins away before burrowing her face in her hands.
Jack bit the inside of cheek. She was clearly upset, but he didn't have much experience with comforting people, much less girls. He awkwardly patted her back, "I'm sure it's not the worst, there should be another uniform you can wear."
"No, you don't understand!" She pulled her hands away from her face, teary eyes looking up at Jack, who looked back at her in surprise. "You saw how angry those customers were! It's only my second day on the job and I've already made a mess of myself, I'm going to be fired! And I really need this job!" She cried out.
You felt foolish, here you are looking like mess, crying Infront of some random boy. Could your day get any worse? On second thought, better not jinx it.
Jack started to panic, now she was crying! What was he supposed to do?? He took the time to examine her, she seemed to be around his age, maybe a year older. He'd be lying if he said she wasn't attractive. He felt himself flush again. After a few seconds, Jack finally spoke up. ".. You're not going to be fired." He mumbled out.
You blinked at him in confusion, did he not hear what you just said? All the reasons why you would be fired? "What?"
This time Jack looked at her with determination. "I said you're not going to be fired. I know the owner, he'll understand. I promise. I'll make sure you keep your job, so!...please don't..cry.." He mumbled the last part, but you still heard him.
You stared at him for a few seconds before bursting out laughing, "Hahahaha! You barely even know me, and yet you're determined to help me keep my job? Your something else." You couldn't help but let out another laugh as you smiled at him.
Jack flushed once again, his tail wagging involuntarily. Your laughter sounded melodic to him, your smile was so bright. "..." He decided he was going to keep that smile on your face, he wanted nothing more than see you smile again. "Well of course, I wasn't going to let some pretty girl get fired over a little thing, and you said you needed the job right? I don't know your situation, but I don't mind helping you!"
This time your cheeks dusted a light pink. He thought you were pretty? You grinned at him,"So you think I'm pretty? How bold, I don't even know your name~." You teased him, letting out a little giggle at his surprised and flustered reaction as he tried to explain himself. 'How cute..' you thought to yourself.
A few minutes had passed by at this point, you had managed to get all the fruit chunks out of your hair. Though you still needed to change, your uniform was dry. Albeit a little sticky from the drinks.
"Jack Howl."
You turned to the big wolf, confused. "What?"
"You said you didn't know my name. Well, my name is Jack Howl." Said wolf responded, shyly rubbing the back of his head as his tailed swayed behind him.
You grinned up at him, "It's nice to meet you, Jack. I'm Y/n." Grabbing an extra uniform you turned away from him, waving bye as you went to go change. "Thank you for helping me Jack, I really appreciate it."
Jack waved back before leaving the staff room, a small grin on his face. Y/n huh? The name suited you well.
The rest of his shift had ended before he knew it. Handing the uniform back over to the manager before grabbing his stuff and getting ready to head out. Something caught his eye, a piece of paper seemed to have fallen out of the locker he was using to put his stuff in. It was a little note.
Picking it up Jack looked around to see if anyone had mistakenly put it in his locker. But he saw no one, and reading the front of the note, his name was in it. Confused, Jack opened it up and read the contents.
'Just in case I don't see you again, here's my number, xxx-xxx-xxxx, call or text me sometime!
-Y/n'
Jack's tail began to wag behind him, a small dopey smile made its way to his face as he stuffed the note in his pocket and headed out. He really hoped to see you again.
