I'm publishing something every month. I'm writing a fuck ton on novellas in the next two years.

I'm working on drawing more (stick around for that).

I have the chronic pain under control (who fuck'n knew that was in the cards).

I am currently lacking in fandom and need some suggestions. My OTP is from a 90's anime that's been dead for yeaaaaars and then I latched onto a RareTP so fucking rare the books aren't even listed on AO3, which means no one has written anything. Of course. Convince me to play more Baulder's Gate, I'm barely past the character creation. I think I need to turn the difficulty down. My HP fanfiction is still getting kudos but I can't go back in there without the heebie-jeebies. No, I haven't seen S2 for Good Omens, yes it's on the list. I'm wrapping up My Hero Academia.

I am attempting to learn how to weight train with EDS. I am not diagnosed (like everything else), but, well, AMA and I'll go into it. For now: squats and rows.

I need your tea suggestions. No "natural flavors" just raw tea. Looking for puerh and oolong. Happy to try a Darjeeling. I think I just bought a Darjeeling.

 “Mariah, you have got to be joking!” 

During a very intense round of truth or dare with the bey girls, Mariah revealed her secret. 

Hilary’s mouth hung open. 

Mariah blushed, and tried to justify her attraction, “I find him really… endearing? I just… I don’t know.” She shrugged, and let her hands fall loosely to her lap. 

“Mariah!” Hilary was still surprised, “he would kill you! Have you ever even talked to the guy?” 

“I… have.” Mariah smiled. She remembered the time they got locked on a balcony together at the BBA. And the time they ran into each other in town. 

Emily raised her hand to get everyone’s attention, “I hate to be this person… but Hilary is right. Spencer isn’t someone to be trifled with. And I wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley. I don’t think he’s…” 

“Datable material.” Hilary finished her sentence. 

“I think you guys are wrong! He’s… got a tough exterior… but underneath it all, he’s caring.” 

Hilary grimaced, and Emily spoke up, “he’s almost seven feet tall, Mariah… If he doesn’t kill you for fun, then he might kill you…” 

“With fun.” Hilary sucked back her teeth. 

“Hm.” Mariah gazed out the open window into the nighttime cityscape, “I guess we’ll find out tomorrow.” 

“What?”

“What!?” 

The girls all asked in unison. Mariah smiled. 

“You don’t know? I have a date with him tomorrow.”

“How many rarepairs do you have?” Does OC x Canon count? No?? Okay... Um I’d say the amount that can fit on the palm of at least 1 hand? Probably not 2 since I’m not counting OC x Canon. There are rarepair ships I enjoy, like Melian and Cobracliff (and my friend Alex’s ship Sirqkase) but I don’t ship all of them. The big rarepair I have is Meganiper. That’s my OTP... RareTP? What’s the term when your OTP is a rarepair guys?

jk! (though I wish they didn’t dumb him down as much as they did in S3) Um real answer though, I have some. First of all, I think El Fuego should’ve been a one-time villain only. He got kind of annoying by appearing again and again, and I think he would’ve been better off just showing in El Fuego only, and the cast could just mention him a few times after that. 

Second, Chief Cruz Snooze. I think he should’ve changed his mind about bh6 at least in Fred The Fugitive but that’s another topic. His whole character arc wasn’t fun to sit through, and I think he would’ve been better as a minor antagonist/naysayer cuz I’m pretty sure he did illegal things in his vendetta against bh6??? remember the sinking ship guys???

-Trina I think should’ve had more screentime instead of being a surprise finale antagonist like I wanted to see her infiltration into Krei-Tech

-The new Season 3 characters except 4 2 Sing bc I think they were good as one-time characters. (and yes this includes the robot mascots.)

-Megan! And also Karmi (esp in Season 3) and I wanted both of them to meet!

-Sirque bc of the whole Silent Sparrow thing! And also she’s a fun villain?

-Detective Kato before they nuked him into bg character status

-Liv!! I want to know if she’s okay mentally and what-not

-Also Ian (and Mel, or at least mentions of him more)

-Last but 100% not least. I.wanted.more.High.Voltage.CONTENT! I am so salty that we never saw their redemption arc! Freaking Sparkles got a surprise redemption (and I talked about my theory why he turned sides in another post) and he did stuff like trying to murder a cat! How come we never saw HV, who were like the first female villains of the series, in Season 3 for their own redemption arc? I wanted to know their backstory, why they mostly turned to crime, are they the only family they have? Does Megan ever interact w/ them so I can have my obscure rarepair material? I NEED ANSWERS DISNEY WHERE ARE THEY ARE THEY HAPPY!?

I hope the new bh6 comic gives us chances for more character development. (that doesn’t mess up my own hcs and perspectives of characters)

Raretp of Spencer and Mariah? Maybe some first meetings? Thank u💕👀

Mariah has never known what it was like to feel lonely. It was only when Ray left that she felt a sample of that pain, but it never really stayed. She always had something, someone that served as a distraction, and whatever woe that could manifest was instantly erased. Even now, she stands surrounded by her teammates, an accumulation of faces she fondly refers to as family. Her gaze softens every time she sees them. How could she possibly care about anything else, how could she possibly entertain the idea of aching if she has them by her side? But despite her constant state of serenity, she is acutely aware of the emotions around her… And right now, she can feel the seeds of doubt and disappointment being planted in the heart of a fellow friend. She wants to say something, but knows better than to call attention to someone’s ache out loud. So, instead, she wants to surprise them with a gift - perhaps flowers will do.

“Mariah, where are you going?” Lee calls out to her, just before she disappears into the crowd. She looks over her shoulder, completely bewildered by how she intended to act on instinct instead of letting others know where she was going. “Ah, my bad! I just need to get something. Don’t worry, I’ll be back soon!” Lee extends his arm, wanting to chase after her, but she as already vanished, as if not wanting her friends to follow. She does, after all, want things to be unexpected. They probably assumed she was going to pick out fruit, but instead, she has her eyes set on something else.

There are many vendors along the docks. She sees an array of foods, meats, and most importantly, flowers. Her eyes are set upon the vast hues of purple, red, pink, and orange. These shades remind her so much of sunsets, so instead of choosing a bouquet based on a single solid color, she decides to make an arrangement of all the shades presented. To some, they would see chaos, but to her, she sees a symbol in each saturation - a light at the end of the tunnel, a fire that burns bright, and of course…purple to represent royalty, or to ensure one’s victory. She clutches the floral arrangements close, wanting the very love she exudes to find itself in every leaf, in every stem, in every petal. Flowers represent life - surely the people she intended to gift it to would appreciate that.

Although she completed her initial shopping, she decided to explore the boardwalk even further. The farther she went, the less people she saw, but the sea proved to be too captivating for her to simply turn back and walk away. After all, it was a straight shot back - how could she possibly get lost? She hears the sound of water violently crashing against the bed of rocks and wood below her. Some part of her gets sucked into the view. Her body moves back and forth alongside the waves, rushing in and running away from any chaos that wants to consume her. She never thought she’d see herself in waters so muddy and murky, but beyond this place are brilliant blue waters that reflect more of her entirety. As she watches, she is oblivious to the figure that stands before her and, in truth, that figure was just as oblivious to her presence. They both end up clashing, causing Mariah to fall back with her flowers. The other, however, still stands tall.

The feeling of something hitting his skin is unexpected. He wants to say, “watch where you’re going” but realizes he was just as responsible for the collision as she was. A defeated sigh escapes him; he feels inclined to show kindness, despite the fact that he didn’t want to be around anyone at all. As he extends his arm, wanting to lift her from where she sits, Mariah politely declines. Instead, she crosses her legs, still holding her flowers, and diverts her attention back to the sea. Although Spencer is taken aback by her actions, he ends up doing the same thing. “Sorry about that. Looks like we both were a little distracted. Just look at that view…” She always manages to turn messes into miracles. The situation could’ve held tension, but she defused it by bringing them back to something they both seemed to have in common.

Although her eyes are on the waters, she can’t help but absorb his aura. He is comprised of so many conflictions, so much calamity, so much chaos. She sees scars on his skin and if she dared to look a little longer, she swears she could see the stories behind them too. How does someone who looks so beautiful remain so ravaged? And when he looks out at the same sea as her, what exactly does he envision? Movement… She briefly looks his way, only to watch as he takes a seat by her side. “People will think we’re both crazy if they see me standing. This isn’t such a bad idea.” He answers her question before she could even ask it. Although it feels like he’s in her head, he makes no attempt to address her previous mental inquiries. To exist in silence is so safe… In truth, that’s why his eyes are not on hers. They say the sea can swallow everything. It takes, it descends, and it eats everything alive. He once compared himself to these savageries, but he is subjected to the same pain he gives others. Perhaps, then, he should see the water as a means of purifying his presence. Let the salt scrape away those sins, but water can only remove so much.

The fact that he’s allowing her to sit beside him speaks volumes. Usually he would seek solitude, but he senses something within her that begs him to stay. Perhaps she is the embodiment of redemption, perhaps she serves as some kind of sign, perhaps he is guilty for knocking her over, but regardless, he doesn’t try to retreat. Somehow, Mariah can sense that this moment is something to marvel over, but as always, she dare not exclaim her knowledge. Instead, she looks down at the bouquet before her and reaches for a small group of flowers among the chaotic floral. These are thin and blue with buds barely blooming, but their color resembles the waves that keep crashing their way. She casually lays them in his lap before getting ready to rise.

Spencer feels something soft upon his legs. When he looks down, he was surprised to see parts of her flowers. “You drop these?” He asked. Mariah simply smiles and speaks softly. “Yeah, on you. You looked like you needed them.” Her fingers gently stroke the remaining petals of her flowers, trying to pretty up the arrangement now that they’re missing a few pieces. It’s not like she minds. After all, she got them as a means of mending. He isn’t a friend or a familiar face, but he looks like he needs something to take away some kind of ache. “The water is pretty, but you know it can drown you too, right? Just let the flowers remind you that land’s out there. I think you need some higher ground.” With a small wave, she turns her back to the stranger. She doesn’t bother asking for his name or why he’s here - it wouldn’t matter anyway. She’s convinced she’ll never see him again, so why try to bridge a bond? Let him be left with her words rather than her name; it holds far more power and value.

Spencer is confused… But all at once, he’s surprised by her brief investment. Did he somehow say everything that was on his mind? He had seldom shared his concerns, even with his friends, and yet she was able to address them so easily without him even speaking. His attention wanders from her fleeting form and down to the flowers she gifted him. He’s not the type to pay attention to nature, but all at once, this moment is taking his mind off many intrusive memories. In some way, she did save him from drowning. For a moment, he has no use for staring into the sea. Suddenly petals that he would’ve usually parted from now hold his attention. She wants him to linger on land… Perhaps she can be the reason why. Such an odd stranger and yet, he can’t help but smirk to himself. Something tells him he’ll see her again, but when he does… he will, once again, not expect it.

Random Iida x Hatsume HCs

Ugh, apparently my newer blog @justanerdywriter is still too new for posts to show up under tags, so I’m gonna be using this one instead

Anyways, here’s a quick little contribution to @bnhararepairweek since this my rareTP. Might do more later on

-Mei likes to drag Iida off to support conventions and such, and even after they started dating she often ropes him into testing out her inventions. After they became a couple, though, she likes even more to just drag Iida around and look at all the inventions and weird gadgets together

-Mei is thirsty af for those muscles. She especially enjoys looking at/touching Iida’s calves

-Iida is seriously not all that aware of just how muscular and attractive he is and can’t understand Mei’s fascination with his body. He gets super flustered and confused whenever she starts feeling up his muscles (he doesn’t always try to stop her though)

-Mei has like NO personal space boundaries. One time, right in the middle of lunch, she basically jumped right up into Iida’s lap and cuddled up into him, right in front of his friends. Needless to say, he flipped out

-Iida actually kinda likes how clingy Mei can be. He doesn’t appreciate it in front of other people (see above), but if it’s just the two of them he’s more than willing to be his girlfriend’s teddy bear

-Power Loader hardcore ships them and is forever grateful that Iida is able to convince Mei to just chill out with the inventing sometimes

-Iida tries his absolute best to look out for his girlfriend’s health, especially with her unhealthy inventing obsession. Like, if she absolutely refuses to go to bed he will sling her up over his shoulder and carry her all the way back to her dorm

-There are times when Iida just falls asleep trying to get Mei to go to bed, and then she ends up falling asleep next to/on top of him. Power Loader comes into the studio in the morning and is just like ‘so cute’

-They both enjoy watching “How It’s Made.” Several of their dates have just been them huddling up on a couch/in the dev studio and binge-watching it

-Nowadays, since she’s a bit more respectful of her new boyfriend’s wishes, Mei usually just lectures him about her inventions and how they work rather than throwing random stuff on him and flipping the on switch (though she still does it sometimes). Iida really appreciates this change, and actually likes to listen to her explaining support stuff to him

Three boxes labelled “Fragile”, two damaged, one with a giant hole. I found some sort of clear sheet that said this was found like so on the conveyor belt, and for me to file a claim on their website or to call them, but when I checked that, well.. You have to be the sender for that kind of stuff.

So I emailed them, but anyway... I was looking at the damaged figure online and realized maybe this wasn’t as broken as I thought!

See look! Perfectly fine. 

Well no. Turns out I can stick the red string thing into her hat, but it can fall out quite easily. I put some force on the other one and it wouldn’t come out, so I don’t think it’s meant to be detachable... I did read a review that said they were detachable, but then how come I couldn’t pull the other one off? HOW COME!?!?!? MYSTERIES ABOUND.

But I guess, if I don’t play with it or whatever and just display it, it’s fine? I despise posing nendos anyway. Still, this was a like-new Aya and broken hat is not like new.

Though the experiment did work in a way. Sanae has much looser joints than Aya aside from her right arm >_>, the beginning of sticky plastic syndrome in the back of her face plates and Youmu’s base! Yes. Whoever sold this the first time around did not provide the proper base. I don’t know if it’s more likely they had this figure as a figure collector and not as a Touhou fan or if they were so careless as to send off the wrong base. They are similar colours I guess, but Sanae is not affiliated with ghosts in any way, so...

Also every accessory I wasn’t using went into the figma sandwich bags. As if I could reuse their boxes as containers. >_>

You know, I had many options where to buy this damn dragon. There was a cheaper one, where it was used and had no box. I chose not to buy it because I wanted the box. I thought this would have the box. I was lied to. There was no reason to spend those extra few dollars to not get a box. Bah.

Ah well, from now on I’m probably just going to buy the whole box sets anyway unless I only like one monster and despise the rest. Here’s Azure Rathalos compared to its similar brethren!

These are ultimately trading figures, and since I’ve jumped up a tier recently buying more display-type figures like scales and nendos, these really seem tiny in comparison. When the oft-mentioned tiny figmas are taller than you, that is a problem. That’s why the most beautiful fauna in my shelf bestiary is still good ol’ Brachydios.

Guess what was in the other damaged box?

Those mail carriers really were having it at Aya... Kill every trash bird before its destination! An admirable goal, but I only feel 10% shame at spending too much money on Aya figures which are all ridiculously overpriced in the aftermarket. SHE’S EXPENSIVE. ALL OF HER. But I relented, I caved, here be the Aya.

True to Griffon Enterprises’ infamous quality, Aya looks weird next to my other Touhou scales. See, Alice looks downwards. Keine faces forwards and is pretty level, Aya... unless she’s leaning and I got a very. very old figure, she’s sort of pushing her chest out and leaning back a slight. It really makes the three of them look completely off compared to one another. 

Not really noticeable when you’re looking from the front though. I need a bigger makeshift shooting studio if I wanna fit in Alice. Oh and if I for some reason wanna display Aya without the puffballs attached to her hat (which I usually associate more with Momiji anyway) there is actually an option!

It’s so small and loseable. 

Actually she came wearing this first, but since I associated her MoF outfit with the puffballs, well... the more annoying hat was put on instead!

The pegs on these bases are decided on a whim. I can see Aya's geta needing these plastic holders to put in the slot, but why does Alice need them?

In fact she's on her tiptoes making her leaning ever more forward with her gaze downwards all the more obvious. Plus they're located at rather random spots. Why is Aya further back? Look at all the space in front of her! I should put a party of figumates and petit nendos on these bases too with all the space they take up. About the only thing I like about these bases are the shiny metal plates with their names etched into them.

Finally we have Sayaka! So a little bit of background, the screen on the iPad in my first story post is fake. I got her on Mandarake along with the wrong order I haven't opened and used EMS (one of the faster shipping options) on. So Sayaka and co. were one of my latest orders. I intended to buy her new off AmiAmi but waited too long and missed the preorders. (She's was re-released) So I ended up getting a so-called used one and Sayaka was completely unopened! Far better conditions than Sanae, though that's to be expected. We may never know what Aya's original condition was. :( 

This could have been a super neat and tidy box stack...

Nothing much to say about Sayaka. Her skirt is less flexible than Kyouko's and her cape further impedes movement so as a figma that docks marks. She can't even sit down like Kyouko can. She does have way too many cool swords though. They aren’t especially sturdy inside their individual stands, so I chose not to display her that way. Her all PVC cape is super cool too but even more unwieldy so I left her cotton one on. 

Bootleg Aya can now take pics underneath Aya this time around, as per canon!!

Since AyaSana have taken the OTP spot where Kyousaya were, they've now reclaimed their position atop my computer case. Why does the Sayaka nendo keep falling over even while sitting without their ugly base? They’re SITTING. Even if their heads are too big and heavy for nendos to realistically stand up, at least make their SITTING be viable! Sayaka is barely sitting upright thanks to both Kyouko and the tealight behind her supporting her (which coincidentally is the one with the Mercy charm on it P:). It’s like a metaphor for her entire character or something! In fact I just looked up and she fell over again!! Goddamnit Sayaka! Even in plastic toy form you frustrate me! Stupid overly dense head!! Inferior nendoroid and inferior figma! This paragraph was supposed to outline my Madoka figures’ great Canadian pride but thanks to Sayaka I had to spend all the space ranting about her! 

Here we have Azure Rathalos who should really turn around and set aflame those Negima mangas behind him. Once I get more figures all those books and such are being moved. I don’t even care about Marvel and for some reason I have a dozen Wolverine books too...

So here’s how it looks so far. As you can clearly tell all my lesser figures are down below, as they should be. I really have nothing against ponies. They’re just really low quality toys and not nearly in the same category as the figures above. I don’t really have enough interest in MLP these days to get the more expensive vinyl figures or other cool things. Maybe the movie or season seven will change that? I dunno. I highly doubt it.

Yes that’s a b-daman. And there’s a beyblade in front of it too. And yes that is a plane. And yes that is a Burger King Krillin. These are the toys of my childhood, and the pink multicoloured horses are the toys of my adulthood. I don’t know what I’m doing with my life either.

With all my harping over posing nendoroids for some reason they are by far the most photogenic of any of my figures. If only they weren’t so frustrating! I had to use one of my spare base stands for Aya because the one she came with was so loose a mere breeze would send her upside-down crashing into Sanae and throwing her off my shelf down below. Listen I know her box got absolutely mullered but those issues are actually common with the figure itself. The fact that she doesn’t have a customized base like all the other Touhou figures (I think), has loose joints, a hat that can break super easily, and a stupid meme face that replaced one of her three faces are all usually minuses for a figure’s rating, BUT CONSIDERING I HAVE TWO OTHER AYAS THAT WASN’T STOPPING ME FROM BUYING IT. God, it’s like this nendo is a metaphor for her character too.

Also this shot looks like Aya just photobombed Sanae’s selfie or something. Like Aya is so blindingly fast she can take a pic and be in it at the same time!! With her camera in her hand still! That’s one impressive camera. Only very recently did I come to realize Sanae’s distress face has a blush on it too, and now I wish Aya had a similar face as well. She’s usually making that face in this rareTP anyway...

Random IiHatsu & Kojiyui HCs Parts 2

Here’s some more shipping headcanons of my two rareTPs for @bnhararepairweek. Combined them since there’s only a few for each

IiHatsu (Hatsume Mei x Iida Tenya) Part 1 here

-Yes, even though he’s her boyfriend, from time to time Mei will make Iida test out one of her inventions. She doesn’t do it to him as much to other people, but she most certainly still does it. Iida is.. not so comfortable about it, but she’s sweet to him otherwise so he can tolerate it

-Iida is really formal about his compliments. That doesn’t only mean the things he says are pretty formal, but basically every time they see each other he’s like “you look very nice today.” Mei teases him a lot about being a charmer

-One time, Iida opened up to Mei about how bad he feels about his brother and his trouble getting around in a wheelchair. Several days later, Mei practically drags Iida over to the development studio and lo and behold, sitting in there is this insanely high-tech wheelchair. It can be raised up and down, has all-terrain wheels (even stairs), adjustable speed, a shelf under the seat, and a cup holder. Iida is absolutely stunned and actually starts crying and gives Mei the biggest bear hug ever. They bring it to Tensei and he reacts in a similar fashion. For Mei, it was a 2-in-1 win (gets to show off her technological skills and please her boyfriend greatly)

-So yea, Mei may act pretty self-centered towards most people, but when it’s someone she truly cares about she’s willing to go out of her way to help them out/make them happy

-Tensei now really likes Mei, and basically treats her like she’s his in-law already. (Much to Iida’s embarrassment)

KojiYui (Bondo Kojiro x Kodai Yui) Part 1 here

-Kojiro’s knowledge of sign language was pretty limited by the time he actually started hanging around Yui. She taught him over time and by now he’s fluent in it

-Their artistic skills have gotten so well-known that they sometimes get commissions from other students. They’ve been able to make quite a bit of extra spending money off of it, and they ALWAYS split their earnings 50/50

-Yui might be borderline obsessed with Matryoshka dolls, she has dozens upon dozens of sets of them all over her dorm (quite a few were ones made with Kojiro). Some people find it weird, but Kojiro thinks it’s cute how much she likes them

-They just so happen to have the same favorite animal: the manatee. Swimming with a manatee is on both of their bucket lists. Dugongs are cool too, though.
