*crashes through the ceiling* Would you mind telling me about your OC Zeus? 💜

*the day has come to talk about this big maladjusted baby*

TL:DR version as his story spans over 10+ years of fanfic/rp and general AU content: Zeus is the brother (as in 'he' and his brother were created out of the same batch of NE-a parasites and placed inside T-103 clone Tyrants so saying they are related is a 'yes?') of Nemesis, the NE-T Tyrant that features in RE3. They were both 'borne' around the same time becoming middle brothers, Nem being created sibling no 2, and Zeus no 3 in order. They both were raised in a lab where their caretakers Simon Ghandon and Tracey Gamine groomed them to become battle ready. Tracey was kind and empathetic, Simon was...not. The labs were not kind to them in any way. Nem and Zeus are considered twins because of their being the near splitting image of each other and both were very close hence the purposeful names they were given. Zeus was the strongest of their 'pack' (there was 4 NE-Ts in total) but the soft hearted one; not the brightest but was supremely loyal to his brothers especially towards Nemesis. Zeus in particular due to the abusive world they lived in latched onto Nem heavily. As Ghandon's abuse of them all intensified, Nemesis grew very withdrawn developing intense anger issues, escalating until he took out his anger onto Zeus creating a toxic situation that ended with Zeus at some point 'dead'. This was revealed later to be not the case as Zeus returned many years later, mentally 'not quite right' anymore due to experimentation to keep him in control to Simon. Zeus is delusional, seeing the world through a child like lens with anyone not Father (Simon) or Nemesis as animals that he desires to eat out of a longing to be loved/cared for. As for Nemesis, Zeus both hates and loves him, wanting to punish him yet loves him very much in a romantic way, only understanding that what they 'had' was ""love"" (it was not it's codependency/latching on to what he knows, lets get that out of the way) and determined to have Nemesis all for himself even if he has to murder his sow and piglet (Jill and Sia). Zeus is a dangerously deluded and broken creature that has no leash since Ghandon's death and has no regard for human life, he just wants to be loved by Nemesis no matter the harm it would cause him. He talks with a tick in his voice where he can get out about 4 words a sentence, heals way slower and grasps human nuance even less than Nemesis does, and says things unaware they sound unsettlingly violent, childish and/or sexual in tone. Now add on to the fact that his strain of Tyrant are near impossible to kill, can take out special forces with ease and can infest people and you have a walking nightmare on your hands. Zeus is also thematically a foil for Nemesis, reflecting Nem's obsessive nature towards Jill and inability to see past his own need for love/intimacy to see he's hurting the target of said obsession. A lot of people in the AU intentionally are reflections/foils of others in this tangled, betentacled web. *As an aside this boy is such a barometer in how ppl react. It's either 'aww he's so fucking sad let me help him', 'I want to date and fix hims (somehow?)!' or 'he is problematic and mean bc incest' no in between lawl. Thanks for the ask!

5, 6 and 18 for Sia, please! 💜

Sia: 5. Sia is the most cheerful and delightful child around family and keeps to herself around strangers – unless you talk shit about her parents. Worst scientist and creepy Father figure Simon Ghandon decided after kidnapping Sia to gloat about him being indirectly the reason Sia exists, cornering her in his just as creepy lab ragging on how violent her Daddy (Nem) is and how her Momma (Jill) had to put Nem down repeatedly in the past. Sia did not take this well (nor him y’know cornering her) and stabbed him in the face with the researcher's own pen in blind, incoherent rage. After her and her parents began living together, Sia and Nem truly started to bond as father and daughter. Nemmy in this time decided that teaching this kid to bait people into death traps and hunting down any intruders was a good idea. And Sia is quite the Daddy’s girl so she of course did this unquestionably. Sia, also in trying to protect Sheva from Trent Haddens bit him on the leg. The child didn’t kill Trent directly but all but gave him a death sentence as she like her father is infectious/an infestation vector and infested him with parasites – so it’s reasonable to say she would kill again knowingly and unknowingly in her desire to protect herself, her family and more importantly to please her Daddy. 6. Sia's greatest fear is in losing her parents. Sia loves them dearly and aside from family that rarely visits when safe (namely Sheva at this point), Sia has little else. She already responds to her missing parents in current AU with guilt fearing somehow, she caused the big fight and separation between the two and that both are angry at her (which is untrue). 18. She only gets easily scared by both Zeus and her own father. Zeus because he attacked her home and ‘killed’ her Daddy in cold blood and does periodically have nightmares of him. It does not help that Nem and Zeus look nearly identical to each other. Speaking of, Sia won’t admit it but she is deeply scared of her father’s explosively violent temper that he displays at Jill as again that feeds into her fears of losing her parents/guilt at causing upset (and his outbursts happen without warning; but Sia sees that the fighting usually is mentally erased and forgotten everything is well again dropped by her mother so tucks that fear away wanting desperately to believe her Dad is good, kind, and loving all the time).

Hey hey! I discovered your little guy dog series not too long ago and fell in love with them.

I'm not sure if anyone has asked this before, but is Machete (the white dog, right?) based on a pet you had, or did it come to you randomly?

If I had to pinpoint the earliest inspirations I had for him, I'd say they were this photo of an Ibizan Hound in an old dog book from the 70's that my grandparents used to have:

I remember being fascinated by this particular dog, I hadn't seen that many sighthounds/podencos in person so it looked weirdly stretched and ghostly and pointy. I thought it was the coolest looking dog ever. I think I was in elementary school at the time.

Also my childhood favorite toy was this albino rabbit here, called Sissi (Finnish for guerrilla soldier):

I think they were one of my first toys, or at least the most important one, and I would consistently pick them whenever a daycare or preschool had one of those 'bring a toy with you' days (feels weird to have to call a plush rabbit 'they' but Finnish doesn't have any gendered pronouns and I don't think I ever thought of them as a gendered being). So albinism was something I was aware of from very young age and I drew a lot of all white, red eyed animals.
