So ya they are actual pictures. When they were putting Midnight Memories as a single, they also dropped a "rock" version. It was meant to be in the style of a Hair Band of the 80s. They even sold a record with these pictures for Record Store Day 2014. It had a version of Midnight Memories and a Live version of Rock Me from One Direction: This is Us

It was one of the funniest things they ever did. And I think it was 2020, when Liam dropped the bomb that they had recorded a version of the Midnight Memories video in these outfits. Since I have learned this, it has been a goal of mine to see it.
