saying this as respectfully as possible but. Do not put fandom content creators on a pedestal. We are also just fans contributing to a community just as you are. We have boundary on our own work and that’s it. What I say is not and should not be considered sth the whole fandom should listen to. I’m just a normal ass person ranting about things on my blog. If it does not have a fandom tag for others to engage in, do not make it out to be me trying to start fights or addressing the whole community. Because it’s not.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, my art, my lore talk, is biased. I’ve never tried to hide that I view Marika a certain way and will always develop my theory following that base assumption.

Aside from translation stuffs and pointing out in-game items, everything else I say you can look at it, agree or disagree, and move on to form your own opinions. Just because I draw stuffs doesn’t mean you get to saddle me with responsibilities about managing fandom expectations. What the hell? I’m a fan artist, I’m the last person who you should look at for “leaderism” (?) WHAT?

I can and will be a hater in my own space, like I know sometimes other artists will just post their stuffs and not engage too heavily with fandom, and for a while I did try to do that here (because I’m already a dramatic ass on twitter), that’s just not me though.

You will get art and you will get my opinions as well.

Rated Gen, <1k. Snippets of Xiao Li reckoning with the consequences of his denial about Qian Jin. This fic helped me remember that Xiao Li and Qian Jin were actually friends, before it all.

Teen, 2k. Post s2 hospital hurt/comfort fic. Lu Guang POV and all that entails. Feels somewhat like being inside during a storm, safe from the worst of everything, but still hearing the rain and wind wailing outside.

butterfly effect by BlurredReflections

Teen, <1k. This is a pretty short fic, focusing on the early days between Qian Jin and the twins. I have it in my notes as "qian jin + parenting = you tried."

Gen, 2k. Noodle lesbians epilogue set almost immediately after their episode concludes, short and sweet.

pay time's debt by yvesvi

Gen, 5k. Li Tianchen character study. Covers his complicated relationship with Tianxi and his mismatched relationship with Liu Xiao. There's this constant sheen of despair colouring everything but still hints of the warmth that once existed.

Gen, 4k. This is a look at what could have happened the first time around. Best way I can put it is that it's theorising in fic form. Has an ostensibly distanced POV, which somehow makes the emotions creep through the cracks.

Teen, 2k. Lu Guang POV, following through the loops over and over until the present time. I really like how this fic expands so much on Lu Guang's inner thoughts whilst keeping them so separate from what he actually says to Cheng Xiaoshi.

i had to go to bed during the live event happening but i'm not surprised to see the twitter remains compromised currently. i did see that some chad from our side wrangled the FA url out of the grasp of opps tho

im not sure if this is true/how much involvement they had but it looks like nullbulgegroup did the taking-back (which is not completed yet, site and twitter are still compromised </3) or at least a lot of it

Finally got ahold of the audiobook of Penance by Eliza Clark and I have mixed emotions about it. On one hand I love the premise and I feel like it's written well enough to where I feel like the author isn't going to clumsily stumble through her own story and fall on her face at the end like the majority of popular thrillers. But also this story suffers from having someone who hasn't been in school for a long time attempting to write teenagers. The funny thing is that whenever I see a horrible portrayal of teenagers, specifically of zoomers its never like, inaccurate portrayals of slang and trends that most teenagers cringe at, it's extremely unnatural dialogue that I don't understand how even a 30 or 40 year old can't see how awkward and cringe and flat out bad of a portrayal they're doing. You can claim that it's regional differences, even if we were all teenagers once I still don't know what it's like to be a popular mean British girl, but I'm fairly certain that actual popular mean British girls don't go around describing themselves as popular mean girls. The funny thing is that they've mentioned several times that these girls (ok it was actually like one girl but she introduced too many characters and I got confused so I can't even remember the name of the girl who said it) are trying to imitate the mean girls in popular American shows/movies. But I think that it's SO funny how instead of going for the obvious Regina George or maybe the more posh Blair Waldorf, they chose Sharpay Evans....I'm very familiar with the popular mean girl trope because I always love the girls who fall into this category and I can say with 100% certainty that none of these girls act like this either. I don't know what the author is going for but it's very painful to listen to.
