Tbh rewatching the OBC Hadestown cast bootleg I’d say that no one quite hit that awesome Hades/Persephone dynamic in the show as Amber Gray and Patrick Page. They are so 👌

And with them the show works in its fullest.

once i get a blu ray reader so i can rip the frames of all the yyh episodes, im planning to upload them onto.. probably google drive? and maybe post all the frames on tumblr (on a side blog) over time too

trying to think what my tagging system would be... id like to try to categorize a lot of stuff, like what episode a frame is from, what characters are in it, maybe location, note when its scenery-only... MAYBE mark different outfits characters wear?? idk. what would yall think would be some good categories of tags i should use?

edit: i went ahead n started the blog, tho i wont be posting on it until i can get a blu ray reader and get some programs set up to rip the frames (which will hopefully be soon!). ill be posting all the frames over on @reikai-records

I keep getting "A Girl in the Valley" from The Secret Garden stuck in my head and I have no idea what's prompting it. Often I can go back and find something I read or thought that acted as a song cue, but for this one, I'm just suddenly whistling it for no apparent reason. I went through like a week of this a while back and then it went dormant, and now BAM, it's back. And I mean, it's a nice song! I like it! It's pleasing to whistle! But where did it come from?

shelf update! i forget to post these but i cleaned up my top shelf and rearranged some stuff now that im home with all my house of 1000 corpses figs

the taller otis and the spaulding with the gun i found boxless at a comics/collectible store that had a fallout themed speakeasy in the back interestingly enough… i did not go back there. but i got those 2 figs along with one of doctor satan but ive demoted him to bottom shelf privileges till further notice. all 3 were $300 even though it was without the boxes they came in�� and the guy said the store owners wont let him sell them separately so i feel a little scammed 😒

it looks sad and emptier than the first time i rearranged my top shelf (pictured below) but im gonna build up a bigger collection of mainly firefly trilogy/tcm stuff up here…
