God, when Gabi talks about proving that the only Eldians left are "good" Eldians...

I want to reach through the screen, grab her, and tell her that there never were "good" and "bad" Eldians. In the eyes of oppressive groups, all those they oppress are "bad".

There are no "good" gays. No "good" trans folk. No "good" Jews. No "good" PoC. No "good" disabled, mentally ill, and neurodivergent people.

We're all "bad", Gabi. You can't prove yourself to them. They want someone to oppress. They want someone to hurt. They want someone to have power over and to blame all the world's ills on. Eradicating your own people to please them won't make you "good". If anything, it will make you a fucking threat.

I hope Isayama doesn't fumble this the way I think he's going to, because as is, this is actually a great condemnation of Gabi's line of thinking, because what did Fay do to deserve her fate? How was she a "bad" Eldian? How was Grisha, just for wanting to see an airship? What made them "bad" Eldians? Nothing, and yet they were made to suffer. Because it was interesting to a single Marleyan. Because the oppressor doesn't see the oppressed as human.

Isayama Hajime, don't you dare make this a "both sides are big meanies :(" situation. Don't you fucking do that to me. That had better not by why everyone hated the ending to your manga, Isayama Hajime. I need you to be a bro. I need you to pull through. I need you to not paint oppressed peoples as equally as bad as their oppressors. DON'T FUCKING DO IT.
