Galmar walked up to Muli as he chopped wood. Muli paused moments before the General walked up, but continued chopping. Galmar looked around. “I have a favor to ask of you.” Galmar whispered, knowing Muli could hear him.

Muli stopped and turned. He wiped his face with his tunic. “Aye?”

“I know you made the pipe. I love it. Your work.” Galmar cleared his throat.

“Thea asked me.”

“Aye. She did.” Galmar looked at Muli. “Can you make rings?”

“Aye.” Muli sat on the stump. “You want me to make rings for you?”

“Us.”

Muli nodded. “Aye. I can. It’ll take some time.”

“That’s fine.” Galmar looked around. “I’m taking her to the temple after we return. She doesn’t know. I can’t wait til after the war. She needs to know now how much I love her.” Galmar rubbed the back of his head as he whispered.

Muli grinned. “I won’t tell Greta then.” He stood and walked over to Galmar. He wrapped his arms around him and lifted him as he hugged him. “Welcome to the family.” He set Galmar down and clapped a hand on his shoulder. “Let me see your hands for sizing.” He grabbed the General’s hands and made a mental note of the size of his fingers. “I already know Thea’s size. Don’t worry. They might not be finished for some time. But I’ll visit when they are.”

Galmar nodded. “Thank you.”

i have another lil acting thing i noticed - though this time it’s less of an acting thing and more of an industry thing. i’m like 90% sure they used an intimacy coordinator for our skyy 2 x the eclipse - at least for those episodes, idk if they’ve used them for all of our skyy 2 or even for all of the eclipse, but i’m fairly certain they used one for the our skyy 2 eps and it’s for one very specific reason.

now if you don’t know what an intimacy coordinator is, it’s kind of exactly what it sounds like - it’s a specialist that is used on set (of a show, a movie, a play, etc) where the actors have to play out an intimate scene. this can honestly range from anything from a simple peck to a full on sex scene. my school recently used one for two of our mainstage shows, but one of them didn’t even include anything kissing or explicitly sexual touching, but she helped create the build up to a scene that was happening off-stage. and typically how it works is that it’s broken down like choreography, so you use beats and breath in order to determine how long to hold for, when to move to the next thing, when to pull away, etc. and it’s helped to make sure the actors are comfortable with everything going on and having it broken down in a formulaic way like that also helps with comfort. unfortunately intimacy coordination isn’t an industry standard in the us even though it definitely should be, and idk how much they use them in thailand, so i could be totally wrong here!

however! i did notice that in the opening scene of the second episode, aye is tapping on akk’s neck during their kiss. and i found it a little strange because it’s not like he’s playing with his hair or moving his hand around, he’s just tapping against his neck. but i was rewatching the scene today and it hit me. khaotung is tapping out the beats! almost immediately after the second time he taps his hand, akk pulls away. khao was tapping out the beats so first knew when to pull away, which is a sign they were using an intimacy coordinator!

which, while obviously firstkhao are incredibly comfortable with each other, i think it also makes a lot of sense and could be part of why all the kiss and intimacy scenes are so well done and feel so natural and comfortable. again, i could be totally wrong here, but i thought i’d share this lil detail i noticed.
