What did Amanda think and feel when she realized John had tested her a third time. While she was bleeding out of the hole in her neck how did it feel to look John in the eyes and realize that she still didn’t get it right? Did she finally realize that he is so, so wrong and that his tests don’t actually fix people? Or did she just think that she’s the odd one out, so broken she’s unfixable. So broken that he could test her again and again and she’d fail every single time in one way or another. Did she feel even more regret and remorse than she already did for making her traps unwinnable? Did she realize that while she doesn’t really enjoy her life, she also doesn’t want to die? That, contrary to what he tells her, it was never her place or even john’s place to force other people to make that choice (or in her case, to take that choice away completely)? Was she grateful for everything to finally be over? How did it feel to bleed out on the floor, still desperately grasping for any sort of comfort or security, regardless of how much she’s been hurt by who it comes from

David drags Wallace to the beach (gotta hydrate his half water elemental best friend). He’s not going to swim but he’ll dig into his TBR pile while Wallace enjoys the water.

Cici and Val usually come along and now they can drag Lin and Clarence!

David loves camping so he’ll make someone go with him to that (alone is a bad idea for him), maybe combine the beach trip with camping.
