#In sam's case rape is both personal and fraternal; it is a claim that his body is objectified enemy territory that must be conquered#when sam is violated he is not only a victim of an invasion but also the property of his family (dean) and through his very being#he becomes a symbol of the invaded and mutilated breakdown of the situational control dean normally has over their enemies#throughout the story#you'll notice that dean's seeming loss of power nearly always is precedent with sam's metaphorical openness#spn also kinda hits you over the head that when others transgres sam it's vastly different from when dean does it#even if dean's view of sam lines up more with that of his transgresses (seeing him as sth to be chased and “had”)#when dean does it he has a right to sam both handed to him by the narrative/his father/sam himself#so once sam is violated by another he expresses shame towards dean more so than anger/sadness at his own plight#idk im just entertaining potential readings but im fascinated by them#this (scene) is ultimately soft btw#mine#wincest#spn meta in tags

Enduring horrors beyond comprehension (being a renter and trying to balance the real cost of spending your own money to somewhat improve the apt/house that you don’t own and won’t ultimately keep, vs the abstract cost of having to live with and look at shit that is functionally or aesthetically horrible in your daily life)
#my kitchen is hideous and I hate being in there. there are small cosmetic improvements that can be made but#they’re not easily reversible and I’m not spending my own money on home improvement projects for a unit that’s not fucking mine lmao!#I know it’s like. #they would be middle/upper-middle even by american standards i think#she had mentioned before that her uncle owned a few properties that he rented#but she said today hes apparently selling a small mall that he owns#the value of which would buy a quite nice house here in the states#and is a fortune in venezuela#and apparently he knows a guy that owns some coal mines and is gonna invest with him to start making activated carbon#and was asking my gf if she could run it because she studied chemistry#maybe i move to venezuela and just run it with her

mum and i were almost not able to buy our house because a real estate lawyer heard us casually say i'm autistic and alarm bells went off in her head, because she believed that meant i wasn't mentally capable of understanding what i was signing up for
#and she demanded a doctors note. which not how any of this works#theres no policy that works like that AND gps are not the people who are like#''yup this person sure is a person alright''#she just had heaps of prejudice and she let it affect her job#so a lady from one of those places that advocates for ND and disabled people tore her apart#she lost the 4000 dollars she was gonna be paid. and she got fired#and everybody else from that company that we spoke to was either appalled or pretending to be appalled about this#either way it worked out#i was so upset at the time because it was literally a week before it was time to move???#and i was so afraid of us losing all our progress#plus. yeah i was hurt by the insinuations and the attempted disrespect to my agency#also even if i was cognitively disabled... i think cognitively disabled people deserve to own houses too#i was a fucking adult and i managed to get to every gosh forsaken appointment to sign forms#and then do it all again because what i was signing didn't match what was on my birth certificate!#...not my fault - turns out the nurse wrote my fucking name wrong#anyways. i was exhausted but i did it damn it. so that bitch trying to rob us of our home??? fuck her#6 years later and the house is now 100% mine instead of 50%#and im gonna assume that bitch never got a job in real estate again#she was totally cool with me until she heard the word ''autistic''#and clearly pictured somebody... how do i put this... somebody with vacant eyes who smacks the side of their head when they're upset#not a bad thing by the way! hell i've been that flavour of autistic plenty of times. we contain multitudes!!!!#don't mean we don't deserve to own property. we live in a society!!! let us be a part of it#but yeah that was the most serious case of me being dehumanized due to what i am

I want to leave everything behind and move to the country and create a sustainable homestead to raise a family and live on but not in a tradwife, old fashioned values, ‘natural’ gender roles way, more in a reject capitalism, embrace solitude, nurture my creative mind, create a space for friends and family to cohabit and pass through so I can be connected to the land and the people I love forever way.
#also the city is so expensive man!#just found out that the toytown suburban houses that are being put up in rows an hour and a half outside the city begin at 600k#own property? in this economy? no#but i love the cafes and galleries and feeling of being anonymous in a crowd#and everyone in the city is so much more fashionable and i feel much more comfortable expressing myself#the city will be for my 20s i think and then i'm assuming i'll get exhausted#slow living#country#cottagecore#sustainable farming#also i have always wanted to own a goat#it was an obsession of mine as a 2 year old#tradwife#mine#dear diary

I’ve been sort of frantically applying to apartments and my dad called being like you could live here (the trailer I grew up in that he’s going to leave as he got a new property and is going to get a new house) and it’s like. well I’m familiarized with it like that’s been my home for 15 or so years but at the same time I do not want to commute an hour away for work
#having my own house in my twenties is alluring though#and it’s out in the country. privacy!#I think it’d actually be my house too bc the property is already in me and my dad’s names#which he did like in case he died or something it’d be mine
