caregiver mari headcanons!

•mari would be a very sweet caregiver, always gentle as she woke you up from a nap, or always being sure to hold your hand when you crossed the street!

•she just thinks you’re so adorable— and she wants to make you the happiest you can be!

•she’d definitely play you lullabies on the piano! mari would even learn your favorite tunes so that she could find some sheet music/tutorials and play it for you <3

•she loves using pet names for you, also! her favorites are angel, honey and darling, however she would use any you particularly liked

•mari would play all kinds of little games with you!! she’d start doing peek-a-boo with you out of nowhere, and she would look for you in hide and seek anytime you asked her to. and trust that she’ll never turn down a game of tag!

•she’s a very positive caregiver. she’d do anything to make you smile or laugh, especially on tough days. she’d tickle you until you admitted you were a wonderful, smart, and cute person! or she’d hold you when you were upset and try to help you see the bright side of things. even if there wasn’t one, she hopes you know she loves you and will always be here!

•always ensures you’re taking care of yourself. if you haven’t taken a shower in some time, she’ll prepare a warm bubble bath with all your favorite toys! makes sure you’ve had three meals a day, even if they aren’t always perfectly sufficient, and she is guilty of watering down the juice she puts in your bottle (hey! she has to make sure you’re drinking enough water)

•mari loves playing pretend/dress up with you, whichever one you enjoyed! she’d put hairclips in your hair and pick out some cute outfits for you, and let you do the same for her! would wear absolutely anything you chose for her <3

•on the other hand, if you liked playing pretend, she’d love that too! she has gone on multiple top secret missions with you and your stuffed animals, and she will never tire of tea parties

•mari loves looking at the baby aisle of any store with you— regressed or not. she doesn’t mean to embarrass you, she doesn’t! she just sees a bunch of crinkly picture books, colorful bottles and soft stuffed animals and she wants to buy the whole aisle for you!

•on the same topic, she has probably bought you one of those tiny plastic piano toys before. the one that plays do-re-mi-fa-so? she’ll teach you basic chords and scales so you two can play them together!

•mari loves you so very much, and she wants nothing but the best for you! she’s very positive and affectionate, and while she may sometimes be a little overbearing, she just wants to make sure you’re safe and happy. you mean everything to her, and she feels so lucky to be your caregiver <3

mm i think sunny actually didn't want the violin his friends got him & eventually broke it in frustration, which is what caused his fight with mari at the top of the stairs

(citations: the "present" item in the game inflicts Angry ("it's not what you wanted...") & in one of the lost library scenes sunny is upset he has to miss out on saturday morning cartoon time to practice, + the broken violin at the bottom of the stairs before their fight)

Starting with sunny. He's not really that ticklish? Maybe like a 3/10, 4 at most. He doesn't really laugh from it, he's just faced with a perma-smile and maybe a small chuckle if you get him in the right spot.

Lee:

• He's not opposed to being the lee; in fact he quite enjoys it every once in a while

• Will use body language to try and get you to keep going if you stop too soon

• Quiet but easily flustered by most any attempt at teasing

• He just thinks its fun :>

• He won't try and squirm away from you for the most part, but he'll hide his face

• Kel has gotten a laugh out of him a couple of times

• Used to have the occasional tickle fight with Mari; Sunny always won, other than that one time he gave up and lost on purpose.

• scenarios that get too intense kind of freak him out, he likes to stick to the casual back and fourth.

Ler:

• oh boy is he a gentle ler. He doesn't want to hurt anyone involved and is super careful about not going on for very long or making the other person uncomfy.

• That being said, he's happy to see his friends happy and will come at them with an attack at the most random of times.

• He loves teasing with hand gestures

• Will smile at you the entire time

• He's great at coming at you when you least expect it. Seriously. Never underestimate his unpredictability when it comes to suddenly appearing behind you or around the corner looking ready to full on charge at you.

• He targets basil a little sometimes because he treats it with the same kind of gentle playfulness

• he just really adores people's reactions and seeing them looking all happy knowing he made them look like that.

Onto basil :> huge lee-leaning switch, and fairly ticklish maybe 7 and a half/10.

Lee:

•He doesn't hate being on the receiving end at all, but he definitely knows when he's had enough and will try and make it clear to his ler.

•He'll try and push you off but be overly gentle about it so he doesn't actually push you anywhere. He doesn't actually want it to stop, he just likes to be playful and/or pretend he wants you off.

•He rarely ever starts the tickle fights or interactions in general, but will get you back mark his word if you decide to tickle him.

•Aubrey is kind of protective over making sure no one gets carried away, knowing Basil doesn't like it when it goes on for very long.

•save this poor boy he's such a random group target

Ler:

• Like said most of his ler side comes from playful revenge. He loves getting people back.

• Not as evil of a ler as he thinks he is and if he hurts you on accident he will not stop apologizing that week no matter how much you tell him you're alright. May craft you something the next day as an im sorry gift.

• He's not too big on teasing as much as he is laughing with you or paying you awkward compliments about how he likes your smile.

• He never acts on his organic ler moods unless its with Sunny; he's open with the others with that sort of physical affection, just only ever starts it if it's Sunny.

• tickles people for the fun of the act; He just wants to be playful and feel big and strong in a way that won't get anyone hurt.

caregiver aubrey headcanons!

•aubrey is a protective caregiver, always making sure that you’re safe and doing her best to cheer you up when you’re down. she might not always know how to verbally say it, but you mean the world to her, and she’s not afraid to stick up for you.

•she can be a pretty rough-housing caregiver!! won’t hesitate to start a tickle attack on you and would even wrestle with you (albeit carefully!)

•but if you didn’t want her to do things like that, she definitely can be gentle around you. she has a huge soft spot for you, even if she would never admit it. she’d hold you close when it was time to go to sleep and will attend absolutely any tea party/adventure that you ask.

•aubrey is probably a board game person! she loves playing card games and any simple little games with you. don’t expect her to go easy on you, though! (she will)

•favorite pet names for you are kiddo and bud, though when you’re sad she’ll certainly opt for sweeter ones like hun or baby.

•initally, she was really protective of you around the hooligans. she didn’t honestly know what they would say, and she wasn’t willing to take a chance and find out. but when kim found you alone at the park one day, a childish slur to your voice, she made sure to look after you. although she was confused, she cared about you.

•and when the maverick noticed you sniffling near some shops, your knee scraped from tripping, he was sure to bandage your knee and cheer you up.

•even so, aubrey was eventually alerted of these encounters. she asked you if you wanted to tell them, assured you that there was no pressure if you didn’t want to. but you trusted them, and in turn, they were told.

•none of them were upset!! some didn’t really get it all of the way but they were willing to learn. aubrey trusts them to look after you if she was ever unable to be there.

•aubrey learns what your favorite foods are when regressed, even if it’s just in small talk or subtle indications. she makes sure she has them on hand for you! she knows that the little things matter.

•aubrey would be there for you if you impurely regressed. she’s definitely the type of caregiver to jokingly ask you, “who do i need to beat up?”. she’ll sit beside you and hold your hand, making sure your comfort items are in reach if you ask for them. she won’t leave you until you’re better.

•if you wanted to, you two could paint your nails together! she would help you pick out your most favorite color and do it on you. she would confidently wear anything you painted on her nails with pride, no matter the color, neatness, etc.

•aubrey would be fond of playing pretend with you! any scenario, any character, she’s willing to play it. even something simple like the floor is lava would make her happy to do with you!

•you can always count on her being there at the end of a tough day, or any day for that matter. she’ll make some warm angel milk or hot chocolate to put in your hands as you two snuggle up on the couch and watch your favorite cartoon/movie.

•aubrey loves you very much. while she may seem a bit overprotective, she just wants your regression to feel safe. she won’t tolerate anyone telling you otherwise! if you need anything at all, she’s right there <3

Omori tickles are epic and all but y’know what would be epic? Emori tickles! (The AU made by Shrimperini)

For example Emori Aubrey is pretty much the mediator of the group, making sure Sunny, Basil and Kel don’t fight eachother or dumb dumb crap, but imagine if she does this by absolutely destroying them with tickles?

Like Aubrey thinks Basil might be hiding Marijuana from her and so playfully interrogates him through giggles and laughter, pushing him onto the ground to absolutely destroy rip funny weed man, and like a tickle fight begins for the two of them but Basil almost always loses because he loves her!

However when he and Aubrey are hanging out maybe he just… randomly decides to gently tickle her, and like she squeals so adorably and says that’s really mean and he’s all like, “If it’s mean why ain’t you fighting back and fully embracing the laughter?” ;) and then she does then fight back and they just have a tickle fight but actually not because they don’t at all resist the giggles they cause eachother.

For Sunny and Kel perhaps the two are like… being really tsundere to eachother more than usual and Aubrey acts as the “mediator” mediator as in she absolutely WRECKS them with tickles! Sunny just takes it as he struggles to keep away a smile and giggle and Kel is full on flailing and swearing loudly at her and she’s all like “Sorry besties, I’ll only stop if the two of you hug and make up!” ;D

Also goth Mari… I think she’d find it very funny to just one day silently approach Sunny without his knowledge… and then go full silly ler goth mode and tickle him, soothingly reassuring him to not hold back his true feelings and laughter and him just doing that and laughing adorably, in contrast to his emo knife wielding persona he makes for himself! Also does that for Aubrey only she acts a little more rough tickling as she is more used to that compared to Sunny.

Hero…… uhhh idk I think he’d loath tickling of all types, with the possible exception being his girlfriend Mari. Like maybe when he’s stressed out studying Mari decides it’s to get playful and tickle him gently, causing him to snort in laughter and flail onto the ground in complete shock. (The good kind.) Mari is the only person he’ll allow to tickle him but he never tickles back because he thinks she wouldn’t like it. (She would love it actually and he’d love it too due to her cute laughter.)

You’d think emo Sunny wouldn’t like tickling but he love it just ans much and og Sunny, especially when it comes to destroying his best friends Basil and Kel. He doesn’t try with Aubrey as she’s the tickling extraordinaire and would casually destroy him in a tickling match. Basil and Sunny have a tickle fight with eachother as besties, but Kel is literally unable to tickle back against anyone and his flustered swearing is very funny and adorable to Sunny.

Speaking of Kel, he pretends so hard to not like tickling at all but actually…… he absolutely loves it. He never fights back being tickled but that’s only because he’s too shocked to do so, and he usually starts tickling others if they anger him too much… those people being Sunny and Aubrey. Unlike with Sunny he will tickle Aubrey, (Usually justifying it by saying she’s obnoxious but the reality is he wants to make her laugh.) but Aubrey always successfully fights back and DESTROYS him! And for Sunny… well he especially loves tickling him, though he struggles to stop himself from smiling as he doesn’t want his tough delinquent boy persona to be broken and get teased on by Sunny.

Side Lord Cuddles headcanon

Kageie likes nap cuddles! The veranda is always a good place for a quick (or not-so-quick) snooze, and he likes to have her lie on top of him and put her head on his chest. She’s nice and soft and warm. Sometimes Tora joins them and they form a nap pile.

Shigezane is always down for some good ol’ affection! They’re always holding hands in front of Masamune and Kojuro, who don’t even bother commenting on it anymore. In Omori, Shigezane likes to pull her tight against him and have her rest her head on his shoulder. They also play with each other’s fingers. They are the most embarrassingly touchy-feely couple, but the castle servants approve anyway.

Nobuyuki likes early morning cuddles, when she’s still woozy and semi-awake and wonderfully rumpled from the night before. He likes to kiss her all over while she’s squirming and trying to get away because it’s so ticklish argh stop please

Kagetsugu likes pre-sleep cuddles with her in his arms, her back facing him. It’s comforting and soothing and it guarantees good dreams, right? Her hair kind of tickles his nose, though. But she does smell good.

Toramatsu likes to cuddle after dinner. His job is pretty tough (ahem Ieyasu and Tadakatsu) and he needs time to relax and unwind from the day. He likes putting his head in her lap and having her finger-comb his hair.

Guess whose back, back again. This time with less of a headcannon and more of an AU because I replayed the game recently and need more tickle copium.

So as we all know Sunny was tired of practicing the violin so much for the recital that ruined our hopes and dreams. Didn't help that the poor boy never vocalized how much he hated practice and kept his emotions bottled up. So instead of those emotions being vented out in the worst way possible I propose an alternative.

One random day before the recital the sibling duo were practicing. Sunny was getting fed up of practice while Mari kept urging him to keep going (through varying tones). And to her credit it worked, for about 4 times until it stopped being as effective. Sunny wanted a break, and he was gonna get it one way or another.

So after Mari told Sunny to take 5 to allow her to get her bearing straight on the sheet music Sunny set his plan into action. Setting the violin down gently as to not make noise Sunny snuck up behind Mari, and with the sneaky reflexes of a ninja he jabbed his fingers on her side. Eliciting a loud shriek from his older sister which followed by a slew of melodious cackles. In her giggle filled state she was asking Sunny why he was doing this, but he ignored her question. He only wanted to hear one thing flow from her mouth... well besides her laughter that is. And it took 5 whole minutes of tickles for Mari to ask for a 'Break' to which Sunny stopped instantly said "Sounds good." Then sat beside her on the piano bench and leaned into her shoulder. He then let out a small smile, content that he found a way to make Mari take breaks.

And it would take about 5 different occurrences of this for it to fully sink in for Mari. There were times her workaholic mindset would take over, only for it to be squashed by Sunny's tickle attacks. After the 3rd time he stopped being sneaky about it and openly approached her with wiggling fingers, Mari pieced together what he was doing but couldn't move fast enough to stop it.

The 5th and final time ended with Mari trying to run away from Sunny, ending in an hour long play chase that ended with Mari and Sunny having the most fun they've had in months. And as the sibling duo were collapsed in a giggle filled heap on the couch Mari finally understood, the grand lesson in all of this 'Break Good. Break real good'.

So she incorporated more breaks into their practice schedule. Breaks that were filled up with Mari tickling the snot out of Sunny this time. Hey, the boy had 5 tickle attacks on her, she's gotta even it up or else her title of 'Ultimate Tickle Monster' was in jeopardy. That and she loves seeing her brother smile and hearing his laughter. He tried to fight back back but uhh... well stick with sneak attacks bud you're out matched in a head to head 1v1 Tickle Fight.

Yadda yadda yadda boo boo, the Recital was a success, the violin was metaphorically kicked away for a little while, and a celebratory sleep over was in order. Hero noted that Mari had more spring in her step recently than she had during the past few months and asked why that was. Sunny was about to answer but Mari shot him a look of 'If you tell them what happened I will murder you (with tickles)'. He got the message and thought about it for about 4 seconds until he decided to live dangerously and spill the beans.

And then he died. Died by merciless tickles at Mari's embarrassed hands. And written on Sunny's Epitaph that Kel wrote in crayon on a piece of paper was...

R.I.P Sunny. At least you made Mari take breaks.

OKay, okay, this headcanon could as well be a dessert because HOLY GOSH HOW SWEEEET!!!

Such a cute scenario fr!! Sunny getting enough of his sister's workaholic-ing and deciding to tickle her until getting a break is a very lovely ide and the fact that this became basically a tradition for them is very veryyyyyy bright!! Cute!! Adorably adorable, even!

Also the last part where he decides to live dangerously and tell's everyone about this sneakty sneaky tickles attack and promptly gets destroyed by tickles rip rip our soldier fought well xDDDD

It's 15 days early, but in celebration for a certain silent bean's birthday. Time for more Headcanons... of the Hap Birf variety.

So it's Sunny's Birthday. A wonderful time for all, honestly it should be an International Holiday. Especially since the gang uses this day as an excuse (not that they really need it) to tickle him to pieces.

Honestly they do this for everyone's birthday, no one is safe from the Birthday Tickles. It's just Sunny's time to be adorably murdered.

It doesn't help that the biggest tickle monster in town, nay the World, sleeps right beside him. So here he was strolling around his dreamworld of colors and rainbows only to be snapped awake in a fit of laughter. Sunny would be annoyed that he was awoken from his dreams but he's too busy laughing to file a formal complaint to Mari. So he settled for an out of breath form of the silent treatment, which lasted for about 10 seconds until Mari promised to make him Birthday Cookies. Then he immediately started talking to her again.

So after the first wave, the second attack came almost immediately after the sibling duo got ready for the day. Because outside the door was Kel, eager and ready to serve up his Birthday Tickles. So, naturally Sunny ran away. Not to escape really because he knows there's no escape with Kel, but he wanted at least a comfortable place to lay down and die from tickles. So he ran into the living room to quote-unquote 'hide' on the couch until Kel caught up and started the onslaught.

Next up on the Tickle Attack Chart is Aubrey, and out of everyone in the friend group Sunny feared her tickle prowess the most. He'd argue that she was as close to being on par with Mari herself, mainly due to her innate ability to find an opening even with Sunny trying to block her evil tickling hands. It also didn't help that she's super quick on the draw, so every time Sunny would try to protect a spot she would quickly focus on another part. Realizing that there was no hope in trying to stop her Sunny just let her tickle him freely. Much to the ribbon girl's delight.

Anyway that should be all-- No wait Basil is coming in with his fabled technique... the Tickle Hug. A Tickle Dark Art that is practiced by a select few people, and Basil is a master at it. It's his bread and butter, and Sunny should have realized that this was all a trap. But he was loopy from the giggles and could never turn down a Basil Hug. Until... the betrayal. As Basil dug his fingers into Sunny's stomach he realized that he's caught in a vice grip of laughter and comfort with no hope of escape. It didn't help that Basil is... kinda strong. Mans carries bags of fertilizer semi-regularly for his gardens so once you're in his hug, there's no escape until he says so.

Now it's time for Hero, and he takes a more... vocal approach. He may not be as strong, or capable of doing endurance chases, or has as optimal hand-eye coordination as the others... but what he makes up for is talking. Talking and teasing and using that endearingly smug smile that Sunny both loves and hates!

Hero has like an thesaurus built into his brain or something, because he never repeats a tease. Ever. 'Will you stop squirming so much?' 'Why are you hiding, huh?' 'Not here? Hmm... nah. I wanna tickle here some more'. Even if Sunny was able to speak properly through all the laughing he would still not be able to articulate a proper rebuttal against all of that. Hero knows this too, which is why he's always last when it comes to Sunny Birthday Tickles.

But either way... that's it. All 5 of them got their tickles in. The sacred ritual has been compleee-- Why is Mari coming back for more? What is this? This is unprecedented!

Mari is just straight up saying 'Frick the rules, I have Sibling Perks', and is coming back for a second wind. Makes sense since she's an established practitioner of the Tickle Dark Arts. While Basil has only masted one of the techniques, Mari has mastered all of them. From the Tickle Hug, to Verbal Teases, to Ghost Tickles a technique she created herself, to even stealing Sunny's Sneak Attack technique. Such an expansive repertoire of moves earns her the right to the title of 'Tickle Monster' and she flexes that title often... mostly on poor Sunny.

And it was at that moment where Sunny realized that the tickle attack from this morning was just an appetizer. A sneak peek for the wreckoning he was facing. As he was held down by his big sister... who asked "Any last words?" He had one, and it was to stick his tongue out at her. She took that challenge in kind, as Sunny's laughter echoed throughout the neighborhood.

Aaaaah, birthday tickles is such a great trope, in my opinion! It is teasy, silly, playful and also very fun to see! To think of Sunny having a day full of giggles and laughter and not minding it at all is so heartwarming. My bruh is just having the time of his life with his friends and family during his b-day and it's very adorable to see. Also ahwcgwvwhwvw Mari being such a tickle monster is basically Canon for me xDDD

Hc that sometimes aubrey doesnt feel like actually bullying basil so she just tickles him instead. Or alternatively post game she develops kind of a soft spot for basil (and sunny) after a bit and sometimes will get bored and just randomly tickle him bc hes cute (will usually lead in one or more friends joining the attack, tho more often than not its sunny or kel)

Look, look, I am going to be honest. I have a HUGE soft spot for Basil, and the idea of him being friends again with the whole gang after the game is one of my fav hcs. I don't even care, da flower boi deserves some tickles and giggles and blushes as well 💛💛💛

And that scenario!!!! Yesh yesh yesh!!! Picture with me: everyone decides to meet on their old spot by the lake and Aubrey and Basil get there sooner so, as Kel&Sunny&Hero are getting closer they just hear a high pitched scream and LKel immediately gets defensive because "That sounded like Basil" and nyooom the rest of the way to the lake and when everyone gets there they all freeze because there is, indeed, Basil: laying on the floor and becoming a mess of giggles and laughter as Aubrey tickles his ribs with a gigantic smile and a "So you thought that you could sneak upon me, huh? That I wouldn't see you hiding in that bush and do something about it? You may love plants, but you did not become one yet, flower boy."

And Basil is just shaking his head and blushing and trying to protest but keep failing because of all the giggles that keep escaping because!!! That was not his intention! He just arrived and saw that only Aubrey was there and even tho they all were in good terms now he didn't want to make things awkward by forcing her to interact with him so he just tried to hide until the rest of the group appeared and he could pretend that he was late.

But of course Aubrey realized that he was there, and got the gist of why he was hiding and she wasn't really the most perfect person for reassuring speeches or soft comforting, but she remembered very well a game they used to play as kids to make Basil's anxious thoughts go away.

(She may not be the best at comforting but she knows how to make her tickles soft and gentle. She may not be the best at breaking the ice but she is good at perceiving which spots makes Basil's laughter more bouncy and excited and *focus* there. They may not be the best at apologies but Aubrey is good at actions, at doing her best to make up for what she did and Basil is good at giving her discreet gifts and not making a big deal of it and letting himself squirm and laugh his heart content without calling her out)

Anyway! It's indeed very hard to see a giggly, smiley Basil and NOT want to partake of the activity that is making him so happy so in a blink Kel is already by Aubrey's side, worming his hands on the boy's scrunched shoulders to attack his ticklish collarbone while Hero is letting out a good humored chuckle and Sunny is considering in getting into the tickle fight or just enjoy the moment (if he takes too long to answer Hero may let his Tickle Konster Side shine thro and get him. Rip our bois ♡♡)

Awesome headcanon, I am on the floor. my heart is melted. Fabulous.
