Imagine Mr Jawsum going on holiday around Headspace, having a break from work and just taking time to relax and travel for a while. He's really enjoying his trip, then something... Strange starts to happen.

He keeps accidentally becoming a father.

Jawsum finds various characters around headspace and unintentionally adopts them. He goes to Pinwheel Forest and gets himself an ominous kite son. He goes to Otherworld and gets himself a depressed pirate captain (then the crew keep trying to get him and Pinkbeard together without his knowledge). He goes to Orange Oasis and finds a broke pair of twins with a newfound gambling addiction. He goes to Deep/er Well and gets himself quadruplets(??) who range from the sweetest being in Headspace to its biggest narcissist. He finds a girl all around the world with a picnic basket and suddenly has a new daughter. He sees Hero again and has an 'omg it's my honorary son :D' moment. He goes to Pyrefly and gets himself an angsty art elf. It just keeps going. He has so many adult-ish children. It's a problem.

He's their embarrassing business dad/uncle who's kind of terrible at being a dad/uncle but it's all good <3

I wish I could knit because I would make a Spaceboy plush and a Rococo plush and I'd post so much about them and give them little adventures!!!!

Sweetheart & Co MBTIs!

To procrastinate writing my story, I went through the Myers-Briggs personality tests as each Heart. The results are actually kind of interesting, and also completely unsurprising. Here they are!

The first letter, Extroverted vs Introverted: Roboheart is focused on finding a partner, so it's not surprising to see she's an extrovert. She'll introduce herself to anyone. Mutantheart is also an extrovert because she loves everyone. Sweetheart is an extrovert because she loves attention. Perfectheart is the only introvert, I definitely feel like she doesn't exactly thrive off of social interaction. It hasn't been entirely conscious, but whenever I write her interacting with someone she's less familiar with like Marina and Molly, she's 100% not enjoying herself.

The second letter, Observant vs Intuitive: All four Hearts share this one! It's basically regarding how practical they are vs imaginative and thoughtful. None of them are particularly philosophical, and none of them have a huge interest for the arts either. Sweetheart's love of Rococo's paintings was mostly because he used to paint her in a flattering way, and also because she was into him.

Third letter, Thinking vs Feeling: Roboheart and Mutantheart are both feeling, because they're highly compassionate and value others' feelings. It was a bit surprising at first that Sweetheart is very much a thinker, but I realize it's because I answered all of her questions with super low empathy. While she acts based on her own emotions quite often, she doesn't base choices off of how they will effect others much. Perfectheart shares the thinker trait, but moreso because she tries to act logically and realistically.

Fourth letter, Judging vs Prospecting: Sweetheart, Roboheart, and Mutantheart are all super spontaneous. If you crash their wedding with a spaceship and propose, they'll say yes. I think Mutantheart is the furthest that way because I answered most of her questions with a "no thoughts, head empty" mindset that was especially spontaneous. Perfectheart would rather things be more organized and planned. She's not getting that in my story at all, poor girl.

Final letter, Assertive vs Turbulent: Perfectheart, Sweetheart, and Mutantheart are all highly confident in themselves. However, we also see Perfectheart's response to being beaten in game, and how miffed she is at no longer being perfect, which stops her from being even more confident. Sweetheart in my story is slowly reflecting on past mistakes she's made, and doesn't feel quite as superior anymore. In-game, she'd be 100% assertive! And poor Roboheart, desperate to find love in the world yet rejected constantly. While she doesn't let it get to her too bad, she's certainly more prone to being hard on herself.

Anyways, that's my fun little character analysis activity. It was actually helpful to consider each Heart's personality a little deeper. I usually feel pretty in-tune with the characters I write for, but it's good to think about sometimes.
