Meet up in Philly (or near)

So I have been thinking about setting one of these up for a while but with the changes in the year 3 kickstarter have no more excuses! While Philly doesn’t have many public Hokey rinks there are a lot just outside on the main line! Message me with the days and times that work, if you are interested. so I can set it up before the end of the kickstarter ends.

If no one date works and there is a enough people then I might even split it up into 2 groups!

February Meet-up

Hi everyone!

This months meetup is the weekend of the 24th-25th February.

It involves a hockey game on Saturday at 5.30pm at Alexandra Palace (tickets £6 online/on the door, we'll meet at 5pm) followed by a sleepover watching hockey movies (maybe musicals) at Hazels flat which is nearby in Harringey.

We'd love to see you at the game or sleepover or both. Please can you let @hazelwickpepperweb know if you'd like to come so she can work out sleeping arrangements, hockey movies and food.

OMGCP DFW Meetup Poll

First OMGCP meetup!

We met up Saturday, by the statue of Bobby Orr near the TD Garden, went to grab food at Faneuil Hall, and grabbed some ice cream afterwards! It was so much fun, I hope we get to do it again!

Hey all! With so many OMGCP meet-ups happening, and with Portland Pride happening 6/16-6/17, I was wondering if there were any Portland locals that might want to meet up at Pride?

Philly Meetup

There has been a lot of response to this blog! After checking with the ice rinks in Philly if we want go a hockey rink the closest that has public ice time is in West Chester called Iceline. Also it has been clear that the most people will be able to meetup on the weekend. If people in Philly need a ride I will organize carpools either from the city or from the Exton regional rail SEPTA station. Another option would to meet in 30th street station. 

Also I have tentatively scheduled this first meetup for the 16th. I am going to try and plan meetup at least once month from now on, and at least every other of those in Philly itself.   

Please message me to let me know what everyone prefers.

No matter where we meet I will have Check Please themed games and little gift bags!

Please reblog and ask your fandom peeps to reblog (even if they aren’t in Philly) to try and get as many people as possible.

Happy New Year & Next Meetup dates!

Hey Everyone, Itsy and I have sat down and planned the meetups for the next 3 months:

13th January: Ice Hockey Game at Alexandra Palace, we’ll meet at 5pm. Game starts at 5.30pm. Tickets are £6.60 and can be bought here: https://www.seetickets.com/event/haringey-huskies-vs-bracknell-hornets/alexandra-palace-london/1140438

24th February: Ice Hockey game followed by a sleepover at Hazel’s flat in Haringey. Come to one or both! Sleepover will involve lots of food and hockey movies. Times tbc.

24th March: Karaoke! Venue tbc but will be central London somewhere, cost: £10 or less depending on how many people come. Times tbc.
