So I understand what you’re talking about. We’re very loyal and people’s person and that’s why it easily affects us when we’re not kindly treated by those around us. And getting other’s people approval/acknowledgment makes us feel so valid. But truth is, I adjusted myself to the reality of this world long time back. Not everyone is gonna be nice to you or be grateful to you no matter how nice you are to them or how much you help them. It’s some people’s nature. That doesn’t mean you have to stop being a nice and kind person to everyone around you. Just try to give without expecting anything in return ok? That’s how I’ve trained my mindset and I’m able to be happy now no matter what. As for the validation thing, I am not a confident person either and I have high self doubts and anxiety. No one knows your efforts more than you or god, so why do u let others who haven’t seen how hard you tried tell u that you’re bad/good at something? Don’t give anyone that right. To hold authority over how you feel about yourself my love. 💞 and don’t criticise yourself for being this way. There’s nothing wrong in yearning for others’ affection or approval or attention. Ok, let me talk just about FF bestie, cause is one of my love. In Final Fantasy has one of my first crushes of life, I loved and wanted to marry Vincent Valentine since I was kid and this is no joke. I love and have great affection for FF7. But another ultimate crush I have is Bartz from FF5. When I saw the story of dissidia NT I just thought that Bartz should marry Cloud and then we would make a lovely triangle, because I'm one of those. In FF9 there's Vivi that I really love a lot, he made me think a lot about life. (I hate Zidane) And even in FF9 there is Kuja who is my favorite villain of all the franchises. In addition I have to declare my LOVE for Shantotto FF11, for me she is perfect in everything. I really like FF World too, I think it's very well written. I like the plot of FF0, but I haven't played it yet, I'm without money to buy. Well, I played a lot of opera omnia, so I end up liking specific characters from some franchises and not the game itself, despite having played almost all of them with the exception of FF13 and FF8 and FF0 that I talked about up there. But my favorite is FFX I even have 2 cats that I give the names Yunie and Tidus for my love for this game. Anyway, this is getting bigger and bigger... But what is your favorite FF bestie?

basically what happened in the tsukki dream was that me, child me, and my fam went to a mountain or smth and we were in the visitors center, (my POV changed to child me, and old me disappeared?? i also aged up randomly so i was like 7).

and my parents were like oh theres kids in the playroom, go play w them, and ofc antisocial me was like 'uhhh, i literally dont know them tho' but i went anyway. i just sat in a corner doing crosswords and coloring but the other kids were bothering me. and i was seriously just blowing through the puzzles but these kids were distracting me. then babie tsukki who was around my age came along and was like 'stop being annoying u dumb kids' and they prob thought he was older and scary cuz of his height and left. and i said thanks and we vibed together in the corner talking about dinosaur train because dinosaur train is bomb.

then we had to leave but our parents saw that we were good friends and followed each other on twt (i would like to specify that the accounts were mine and tsukkis, like we're children but we have them, maybe we got them when we were born?? anyways our parents controlled them until we were old enough to use them. this is so weird and im pretty sure its because ive been reading smaus nonstop these past few days lmao).

okay now flash forward to when we're both teenagers so around 16, and we get our accounts. i look through the ppl who follow me and i see tsukki, and im like 'waitttt, i lowkey remember him' but i didnt do anything about it until i saw the team practicing in the gym when i walked past. my friends kept bothering me to dm him and i was like noooo, but then i got one of those moods where im like 'f it, whats the worst that can happen?" and i actually do it.

then we start up a convo and texting a lot, i get to know all the weird stuff that the vbc does and we listen to each other rant. like the whole mutual pining scene, always on their phone, smiling at texts. and my friends and the vbc are like 'what tf is happening, theyre actually smiling??? often??'. and then the dream ended because the rain outside was too loud rip, i got the vibes that it was right before the confession, i woulda liked to experience that.

also weird question, but have u dreamed in art?? like in an anime art style or any other style? because idk if its just me who sometimes does this, i had this really vivid dream like a month ago which was based around attack on titan, he-man, and colonial america which was entirely in a demon slayer art style and played out like an anime too.

I am enamored of this moment, and actually less for the content of it than for how it functions in the story. so for starters, this is, of course, a totally batty speech down in the nuts and bolts of it. men don’t make war and demons because they don’t have periods. for that matter, plenty of women do make war and demons. some women don’t even have uteruses—and some men do! biology is influential but not so strictly deterministic.

but I don’t think this scene isn’t about factual reality, I think this scene is about powerful words and Fleabag’s receptiveness/reaction to them. Belinda begins her speech by saying that she just wants to get these words out there, as if she wants to see what happens when they hit the open air. Fleabag listens to her with an expression of startled fascinated bewilderment, that gradually becomes more dazzled, and then longing. and I feel like I recognize this Fleabag, that in this moment Belinda has become a spiritual leader to her, like an answering note to the Priest. here is this person Fleabag is deeply drawn to—like the Priest—where she can’t figure out if she wants them to lead her or sleep with her, tell her what it all means or take her to bed—like the Priest—who has powerful words to share with her that aren’t like, literally TRUE, but are just something to think about, some poetry that might help you with something you’re struggling with. like the Priest, handing her his post-it noted Bible.

and that’s why I love this incredible, bonkers, female pain speech so much. it’s a sermon. the Sermon at the Bar.

(also anything that references Barbara Kruger’s “You construct intricate rituals” piece is automatically superb)

oh and then there’s even a go-with-my-blessing-child call to action! “People are all we’ve got, so grab the night by its nipples and go and flirt with someone!” I love Saint Martini Aunt

when people say Fleabag Season 2 is even better than Fleabag Season 1 they mean many things and one of them is this. and not just because it’s a wlw kiss, but because it’s so sweet and unusual and wonderful. because they both know this is just this, Belinda has already made it clear that she won’t be taking her home, but Fleabag still wants to give her a kiss just to give her a kiss. it’s almost—a communion, fuck, god she’s taking communion how am I just seeing it!! aahhhhhh
