funniest thing abt the olympics is that it looks like the bronze medallists are obligated to drag out that samsung flip phone they all got for free and take a selfie with all the other medallists, because you know, very subtle product placement.

Honestly, them having to wear full presentation outfits for medal ceremonies in the hot sun is a bit crappy, you can literally see some of them have totally sweat soaked hair they're so hot, and putting them in heavy hoodies to stand in full sun when you could just let them Not wear a big hoodie is a choice.

Or maybe kit providers could idk make cooler clothes and save warm stuff for the winter games??

Had to turn off the women's team final for gymnastics BC I accidentally cared too much 🙃

The difference between the men's and women's skateboard competition (street anyway) appears to be that at a certain age (about 20ish) most of the women gain a sense of self preservation, so almost all of them were teenagers (and notably, a tween). The men were mostly all in their 20's, went as far as late 30's, but even with older teens they were unquestionably men rather than boys. Except for that one Japanese 14 year old boy who looked about three years younger than that, lined up next to all these big dudes. Unintentionally Hilarious to witness. I'm so here for that. I wish he'd made the final lol the lineup would be amazing.
