Okay, looking back on my old (like 2+ years) Eye of Stars Au wip art and writing, I was onto something. Idk why I changed the story. Like damn, I was lowkey cooking.

Been thinking of making this a more askblog to contrast the more writing of ToF.

Like images with writing but I may shake it up from time to time.

You’ll be able to interact with the characters more while the story goes on. Definitely got inspired by @mud-castle’s oldeye stuff.

Finally finished a little cross-stitch picture that goes into a card. I’ve had this on the go for a long time and just needed to finish the gold stitches in the border! What is the "Stars eyes" au? I saw some art and asks for it, but I can't find the actual concept for it anywhere.

Ah, it's Eye of Stars Au, the au this blog was originally built on. Essentially every few generations a guardian is chosen in the clans to protect the clans and be a direct channel to Starclan. This time, when a new guardian is due, Rusty is chosen.

I am (very slowly) doing an overhaul of the au and it's currently under the tag:

My Spirit Sharing With My Spirit

Over the last four years, as I have transitioned to a new geographical location, I have found solace in the quiet chatter of what my spirit has wished to share with me for decades, from one life to another. Reflection has become my companion, and she has brought with her a gift of tears, that often reminisces what was.

The tears have in turn, impacted my eyesight, turning them into what I used to see and what I cannot anymore.

The other day, as I groaned at my sudden surprise, slowly and poignantly coming to accept my new eyes, a person working behind the hard worn counters of sweat and labor offered to read me the flashy display menu that I was struggling with and squinting at.

The offer was absolutely the sweetest, but the wisdom it carried, his eyes offering to become mine, shone on my spirit, brilliantly and brightly.  

For the first time, in a long time, it was someone else, possibly, my own spirit, taking shape into another’s body who offered me something in return for nothing.

Old eyes

Like a stroll in the night

The race of water

Of an ocean

As the TV convert as we watch

To old eyes

He had to tell,

He was living then, not late, deceased..

Old Thorbjorn,he said,

taking strolls in the night"

Why?

but I know why now.

I see stars my past memories

having this eternal presence;

unwilling to let go, familiar

Like my old relationships..

hope is springing forth with a new attitude

Solitude is not the rule in quietude

It will have an estival beauty celestial in nature..

A stroll in the night

I was overwhelmed

The thought of grandma was nearest

A stroll in the night

It was the look in her eyes

Hope was also vernal in those skies

And then she passed away..
