#ok but here me out#Jesus got crucified and the like cause he said stuff those in power didnt like and he got tortured and killed over it#sasuke had his family be murdered and watched naruto be better then him#everything else sasuke went through was HIS FAULT#he could have stopped at any time and behaved like a person#he chose not to#he chose to be the biggest bitch in the series#hell Kakashi went through so much more shit then sasuke and he acted god damn normal about it#kakashi suffered more then Jesus but Sasuke didn't
you missed the part where his older brother tortured him for three days straight with the brutal murder of his own family
also he was right about konoha konoha sucked
#karin and sakura didn't deserve All That but to be fully fair to sasuke sakura WAS trying to kill him#oh and sasuke's brother showed up AGAIN four years later and tortured him AGAIN#which is part of what led to his decision to leave the village#kakashi went through a lot too but he was also a massively shitty teacher to naruto and sakura for like 90% of their shared screentime#plus it's ninjaland everybody's life is shit#having said that the vast majority of what sasuke went through was not his fault#remember also that itachi used his tsukuyomi on kakashi as well and he barely managed to resist bc of his own sharingan#eight-year-old sasuke got fucked UP#fr like this is a seriously traumatized kid who gets basically zero help and unfortunately naruto's therapy no jutsu wasn't strong enough#is sasuke responsible for his own actions? yeah#but frankly he was going through A Lot#and his body count still wasn't anywhere near gaara's#btw i didn't use gaara bc like. i wanted to give jesus at least SOME chance#also sasuke is in no way obligated to return to the village that had his family murdered#even if naruto and sakura really missed him#not that itachi didn't get fucked over too bc asking a 13yo to wipe out his own family is horrific#but he absolutely didn't have to be such a dick about it#itachi is a bigger bitch than sasuke dude i'm sorry but he is#all he needed to do was like. blame someone else#there were literally no witnesses#or idk just run away#there was no need at all to try to batman gambit sasuke into killing him#homie you can just die#you hang out with a homicidal shark all the time i'm sure he'd do it if you asked nicely#but noooo he needed to give his fucked up little shit brother even MORE trauma#older brothers will see their younger brothers and say is anyone gonna scar that for life and not wait for an answer#also the biggest bitch in the series is danzō#like FUCK that guy fr#nasty argus armed bitch

Ok this might seem stupid but hear me out, perhaps we could get some headcanons of papercut in the events of the book but instead of Johnny it was Curly who stabbed the soc and him and Pony had to run away together? It would also be cool to see what the Curtis AND Shepard gangs reactions are
this aint stupid,,,,ur onto something here,,,,
•ok look, not REALLY related but curly woulda loved that white trash w mustangs and madras line, this white on white violence gotta STOP💔💯
•ANYWAYS, i think he’d put up more of a fight, he’d try to get to pony but they were outnumbered so he gets cornered, HOWEVER, he always carries some weapon on him, or maybe he picked up a coke bottle, POINT IS, bob still died lmao
•i dont think curly and pony would stay around that area as long as johnny and pony did, curly would want to leave as soon as he could so nobody could see them, so ponys forced to just get it together in under like 2mins so they could leave, so ponys disassociating badly
•theyd go to tim, curly doesnt like dally and tim IS his older brother, then tim would tell dally, and they still end up at the dirty ass church</3
•now curlys shaken up too, like hes not trying to show it to look tough, but hes never done THAT before, never flat out hurt someone that badly before, but he still doesnt regret it bc it was to defend pony, however considering hes black in the 60s in TULSA, hes so certain a judge will not gaf that it was outta self defense, so actually hes disassociatin too, they both a lil fucked up rn
•back at home, dally didnt tell darry or soda where they were but tim sure as hell did, he gets what darrys goin through cause theyre both older bros worryin over their younger bros, darry doesnt know HOW to react at all to it, he doesnt tell soda nor johnny, or anyone really, when two bit says he’ll go to texas (i think it was,,,) to look for him, darry says not to bother, so they all feel like darry knows where pony is and they dint know wether to be happy or terrified bc why isnt he tellin em or getting him??
•when it comes to the shepard gang, tim did tell some of em whats going on, only his trusted guys tho, theres basically nothing they CAN do to stop word from spreading about it bc the socs who were there already went to the cops, so they all have to lay low for a while, stay in line cause tim quite honestly cant handle anything more rn
•angela’s pretty much losing it too, shes drinking more, way more irritable, if one of the shepards is gone, ALL of em r losing it dawg
•in the church, curlys trying to act like his normal self but u can tell that he’s damn near close to losing it cause this could mean prison or the death penalty, hes so sure hes done for and pony wants to reassure him but holy fuck it aint lookin too good, they do their normal banger but u can feel this somber tension between the two as if this is gonna b their last moments together
•curly is NOT talking about turning himself in at all, he’d rather kill someone else to NOT go actually, on top of that tims telling him to stay hidden, dallys tellin him to stay hidden, so thats how he knows hes GOTTA stay there
•NOW THE FIRE, just like dally, curly dont care that much bout those kids im ngl, but bc ponys running in there, now HE has to help, boooooo👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
•curly aint like johnny, hes grabbing those kids and pushing them out, whatever injuries they get outta that they gonna have to deal w later, its better than them being dead id think, when the church falls, honestly??? i think my main man curly gettin outta there in time, he lowkey DID push pony out the window cause he was taking too long and then jumped out bit aye, hes livin
•its either that or he risks it and takes the longer way out if like, the wood fell where the window was
•he aint livin without some injuries and scars tho, he did definitely break SOMETHING and got some burns on his hands and wherever else, but hes relatively fine, a part of the reason y is bc he wears a leather jacket, unlike johnny who wears a jean jacket, and jean jackets r more flammable, and as seen w pony, the leather jacket did help him a bit in that fire, he still is banged up tho
#curly shepard#ponyboy curtis#purly#PaperCut ship#tim shepard#darrel curtis#darry curtis#sodapop curtis#angela shepard#dallas winston#johnny cade#two bit mathews

I can't sleep and haven't had my Vyvanse in days sooooo I'm gonna do this character development thing with my six main ocs, from what I saw the op deactivated so I'm using a screenshot I got from pinterest
Part 1:
Character 1: Charlie
1. They have some cousins but they haven't seen them since their parents were still alive. Dani (older sister) is 27 and Scottie (younger brother) is 8 while Charlie is 17 so they kinda have not much in common. Still Charlie acts like a child so they would probably consider themselves closest to Scottie.
2. Fine. Charlie misses their mom. She died in childbirth (with Scottie) so it's been a long time but they remember lots of little things. She would stroke Charlie's hair when they were upset and she sing quiet songs in Tagalog that Charlie wishes they could remember.
3. Bad. Charlie was on the cusp of puberty and angry at basically everything right before their dad died. Their dad was verbally abusive and considered purposeful neglect a proper forn of punishment. Dani and Charlie somewhat bond over that. Dani had been trying to get the kids out of there even before he died. They let his family do the funeral. The only thing tying them all together is a name: Shegai.
4. Charlie wasn't there for either of their parents passing. If you asked them they would probably say the night they overheard Dani sobbing on the phone with an ex-partner was the most impactful.
5. Usually some sort of pen (dab or just nic), rubber bands for their braces but also they use them to fiddle with, a knife, their phone, house keys, and maybe a raspberry pi if they're feeling frisky.
6. Charlie uses sleeping aids because if they don't they have very bad nightmares. The sleepaids make it where they don't really dream at all.
7. Death. Death of their mom and dad, death of their siblings or friends, but most of all dying themselves.
8. Yes. They've gone to shoot at the range with Dani before.
9. Charlie was middle-lower class and will always be. They grew up with a dad in physical labor which paid fine but nothing impressive, then Dani worked as a detective which was pretty good money but not ideal, and as an adult they become a high school computer/coding teacher.
10. tw self harm but they prefer long sleeves and long pants. They have scars from scratching on their upper arms and thighs, they don't like showing them off and longer clothing helps keep them from scratching. They also like baggy clothing, but that's just a fashion preference.
11. One time Charlie was at a party, had some dude come onto them aggressively, and then called multiple people just for no one to answer. Cam did, and woke up Add, and so they were able to get home, but the particular feeling of being trapped was terrifying.
12. They're calmest right before they fall asleep, the slowing of their heart beat and heavy feeling in their body is their favorite feeling.
13. They aren't.
14. Neither, they can't remember shit for shit.
15. Not really? They have things they like or want but they're not particularly money motivated. They do have a problem accepting what they deem as "handouts."
16. Success, because they think anyone claiming to find "true happiness" is lying out their ass. Happiness is just one part of life, there's no guarantee of constant Anything. Success, while illusive, is attainable to some extent.
17. They had one barbie doll named Dolly and they mauled the fuck out of that thing. They colored the doll's hair, drew on it, cut up it's hair and clothes. Charlie loved that thing to pieces though. Got pissed anytime anyone suggested replacing it.
18. Wisdom, ambition requires no effort nor experience, wisdom requires you go through or learn some shit and come out on the other side.
19: They're weirdly insecure in relationships but refuse to let anyone see it. Any relationship where the party isn't intuitive and able to assume Charlie needs a lot of reassurance usually ends up being mad because Charlie gets depressed but then refuses to elaborate (and then feels even worse when they're mad).
20. For a long time they tried to pretend they didn't give a shit at all (while actually invalidating themself by comparing themself to others) but they eventually were told by a therapist (whom they ended up liking and staying with til retirement) that they should try and even out the score, they told Charlie "For every invalidation you find, make yourself find a validation." It helped Charlie form a much healthier mindset.
21. Charlie is more a believer that everything happens for absolutely no fucking reason. The universe is playing a game of roulette where every human being wins occasionally but usually loses. Shit just happens.
22. They appreciate flexibility and creativity above most other things.
23. They hate people who piss and shit and cry when bad things happen. Like honestly shut UP. Get your big boy pants and keep moving forward. They also hate boring people. Self-explanatory.
24. Not quick or very quick depending entirely on vibes. Dani used to tell them they're gonna get themselves hurt but then she found just how correct Charlie is about whether someone is good or bad news. (Also some people Charlie can sense as being really bad or neutral bad. Neutral bad can gain Charlie's trust with time).
25. Same as above, their intuition is crazy good so they only suspect if there's a reason to be suspecting. Tone of voice is something that really sets Charlie off. In that way, it is easier for Charlie to discern when a friend is suspicious, because they're able to hear the differences in tone easier.
26. I mean... Charlie pretty much IS children so... fine. Unless the child is a little shit then Charlie holds no punches which can prove to be problematic.
27. Poorly. They're one to eliminate the cause of confrontation before the confrontation can even begin. If you stab the guy he doesn't have much space to argue about that other thing, does he?
28. It depends on the best route of action. Charlie is perfectly content to cause violence immediately if it's the quickest and best way to shut things down, if there's a better way, they'll do that.
29. Charlie wanted to be in some criminal minds hacker man's working for the government stuff. Charlie wanted to be Penelope Garcia. Then Charlie realized how that intel for the government wasn't a very flexible job, so they ended up being a teacher who on the side freelanced as a coder and security tester.
30. Charlie swears looking at poorly done coding actually gives them hives. Honestly though they're pretty hard to gross out.
31. At home, in bed, maybe with a friend or two, wearing one of those big hoodie blankets and playing on their switch.
32. School, in a class with no known friends, and a stranger is asking invasive questions that maybe wouldn't be stereotypically invasive. (i.e. "Why do you only talk about your siblings?")
33. Depends on the critic. If Charlie feels they're just being an asshole and that their critic is shit they aren't gonna listen, if it is valid critic they'll be defensive but still hear them out.
34. Charlie definitely moves on if it didn't work, unless it's worked before in which case they try to understand why it didn't work this time.
35. They're pretty casual, they're not very extroverted so they only really speak if prompted or if they have a quip, but they have a more comfortable energy with people they like, and will gravitate to them more in general.
36. They uh... they don't. It's like trying to get a baby to sit still, Charlie is gonna be looking for any way out as soon as possible, if not they'll start looking for a way to get the person taken away from them.
37. Honor probably. Charlie isn't the most confident in their personality but they are quite confident in their morals and skills.
38. They'll attempt to remove themself first but will happily remove the other if removing themself is too hard or not an option.
39. Probably? They've been bitten more by themself and their brother so animal bites haven't left much impact.
40. They are in a service job (pizza place) so they treat service workers with empathy (unless they are dicks for no real reason).
41. Charlie believes in earning the things that really matter. Charlie has also found that life usually gives you what you want even if you didn't know that's what you want (just make sure you acknowledge the possibility it can be taken away just as fast).
42. Naomi probably. Naomi is kind of a parental figure to all of them. Though Naomi does date Dani later so maybe that is relation of some sort.
43. Later on Charlie has a lot of students who end up looking up to them and looking to them for guidance. Charlie is also open for helping their students any way they can.
44. I love you doesn't really mean much to Charlie, love can be very finite. The moment they realized they were really truly in love with Riley was when they said "I want to spend forever with you." without meaning to (but still finding they really meant it).
45. Charlie doesn't know. That in a way does scare them, the unknown is the most scary thing to Charlie.
Alright! That's Charlie done, next is Riley!

New Collars
Wrote this because why not? New collars and feelings? What could be better.
Summary: Wanda gets you and Scarlet some collars, Scarlet has some feelings about the situation
words: 1K
Warnings: Swearing, but pretty alright otherwise
"Wanda why do I have a red sparkly collar on?" Scarlet was messing with the loop that was hanging from her new collar "I feel like a dog"
Wanda smiled, ignoring the witch looking back at you "my pretty baby likes it though doesn't she?"
You nodded "I love how sparkly it is!" You kissed Wanda thanking her for such a cool gift "does this mean you're our owner?" Scarlet spoke before Wanda could say anything "woah woah woah! She is not my owner, I'm technically older! And who wants to be a pet for a person?!”
Wanda stood up kissing you on the cheek and patting your head, she walked to where Scarlet was "you are a brat, and a brat needs a nice little collar so I can drag you around when you're being bad" Wanda poked her finger through the ring of the collar pulling the witch close "Wanda come on this is a little much don’t you think?” Scar laughed a little to break this weird tension that was building up.
You knowing full well what was happening padded over to where the witches stood and took your place beside Scarlet
“Maybe we should just go shopping and have fun, I doubt anyone would care about the collars, I mean come on you two are powerful witches that look alike! That’s crazy” you were rambling and you knew it but couldn’t stop, before you could start again though Wanda placed her finger on your lips shushing you
“You don’t need to protect our precious witch here detka, she’ll learn” you gave her a little nod and she walked away from you two.
"Why does she turn me on?" You shrugged "she's got a dominant attitude and a great smile"
"Come on you two we need groceries!" Wanda shouted from the front door and you two quickly moved towards your girlfriend "see, what good pets you are"
"Fuck off" Scarlet muttered storming out of the door and into the back seat of the seat crossing her arms "she's so grumpy" Wanda laughed grabbing your hand leading you to the car "is my pretty princess ready for shopping?" You smiled nodding your head "yep!"
"Maybe if you and Scar behave we can get some ice cream" she opened the passenger seat for you ushering you in and getting into the car herself "Scarlet are you going to be good?"
"no, and I'm gonna make this day out so unbearable for the two of you-"
Wanda laughed "you always make our days unbearable sweetheart, but you're a lot of fun"
************************************************************************
You'd been in the store 20 minutes and Scarlet was bored "you know we got groceries delivered in the avengers compound in my universe, it was quicker and took less time"
Wanda rolled her eyes letting go of your hand "Y/n go and get some vegetables okay?"
"Sure babe!" You ran off to find the veg aisle leaving the two Wandas "Scar why are you upset?"
The witch was taken aback a little "oh I'm not really upset" she thought about it "actually yeah I am! Why the hell do you think you can boss me around? I'm not a fucking child" Scarlet went to walk away but Wanda grabbed her wrist pulling her back "hey listen I don't treat you like a child, I just want to protect you, want to love you an-"
"That might work for Y/n but it won't work for me, I don't need to be babied by someone who's younger than me"
Wanda pulled her close into a tight hug, despite her protests, whispering into her ear "you said you've not felt loved for years, you've lost your family, brother, husband and even your sanity for a little while, please let yourself be loved by someone who knows you better than anyone, this is a different universe where you can have a fresh start"
The two of them were silent for a little while, Scarlet holding onto Wanda tight, crying softly in the middle of the seasoning aisle, people walking back and forth but they didn't care, you suddenly appeared from around the corner carrying a few bags of veggies "okay I got carrots, leeks, brocol-Oh, are you okay?"
Wanda turned to you still holding onto the sniffling witch "Scar here is just feeling down little one, do you want to get her some candy?" She winked at you and you sped off quickly to find the candy for Scar, and obviously for you because you felt like you deserved it for everything you deal with daily.
The witch finally pulled away from Wanda wiping her tears away "I'm sorry for snapping"
Wanda smiled helping her wipe her tears away with her thumbs "don't apologise for having reasonable emotions Scarlet, you have a family now, you've got partners, your brother, friends and the two things you wanted more than anything in the world, your boys"
The witch broke down again "my boys...I can't believe they love me after all I did"
Wanda shook her head "no no none of that, they love you it doesn't matter what you did all that matters is what you continue doing from now on, remember when you took them to the cinema? They had such a fun time watching the minions"
Scarlet laughed remembering when the boys tricked her into taking them to see the strangest movie she'd ever seen, little yellow men with their own language, she thought she was high or on some drugs.
"That was a fun day, okay, I'll stop doubting myself...can we get the ice cream you promised?"
Wanda let out a laugh "you don't say said for long do you? Of course we can have ice-cream"
"Hell yeah!" You'd come round the corner just at the right time "are you not sad anymore?”
Scarlet pulled away from Wanda bringing you into a tight hug “moja ljubezen I love you so much, thank you putting up with me” she nuzzled into your neck keeping you close
You just stood still enjoying this embrace while Wanda watched on fondly
“Okay come on I think we’ve had enough excitement for one day” Wanda ushered the both of you through the store and into the car "no one noticed your collars either" Wanda laughed but Scarlet rolled her eyes
"Okay whatever, it is pretty comfortable" she mumbled cuddling up to you in the backseat. "Time for ice cream don't forget!"
You made damn sure you were getting your ice cream
"Of course your majesty" the witches laughed at your eagerness, Wanda moving out of the carpark and towards the ice cream parlour before you threw a tantrum.
Scarlet took the time to think about what Wanda said, she was pretty lucky now, a fresh universe and a fresh start and she was going to enjoy every second of it while she could.

moriarty the patriot headcannons pt. 1
| requested by anon: Can you write about all male characters in moriarty has a same look of their children and hpw many children they want? |
william x reader; louis x reader; albert x reader; sebastian x reader; fred x reader
word count: 2397
pt. 2: 221b boys
a/n: I DONT KNOW WHY I DIDNT WRITE THIS EARLIER IM SO SORRY THIS REQUEST HAS LITERALLY BEEN IN MY INBOX FOR SO LONG I AM SO SORRY I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS
william: 487 words
with his whole plan to clean the world of the filthy nobles, william never really stopped to think about having children
well, until he met you
you both were in town one day and he saw you fondly watching a child speak with her mother
“i think two children would be nice”
“i didn’t even ask”
“i know, but the look you gave that mother was telling enough”
n e ways he is a simp and he did eventually give you what you wanted
fast forward a few years, you have two children: a boy and a girl
and they look exactly like their father
like,, it lowkey pains you how much they physically take after their father
you wanted to be like “oh they have your personality, but they look just like me!”
no
granted, your son took after you in an emotional sense but your daughter was a daddy’s girl through and through
like she looks like him, she acts like him, speaks like him, she even EATS like him
ok but the men w your children
fred is a freaking sweetheart ok
like he’ll watch over the kids when no one has the time and they love him too so they’ll help out in the garden which you are SO thankful for
tbh they only like uncle albert bc he brings them lil trinkets from when he gets back from london LMAO
louis doesn’t show it, but he absolutely adores your children and makes extra snacks for them at tea time
you caught onto this at one point bc for some REASON your kids would not stop bouncing off of the walls before bed and they told you uncle louis gave them chocolate
and sebastian loves messing w your kids bc,,, sebastian
but he accidentally made your son cry ONCE and he was at the mercy of every adult in the moriarty estate including the boy’s younger sister
needless to say, he watched his actions and words around your children after that
now, william
i’m just gonna say this straight out: most of the men never really thought about having kids (save john and albert)
but when you finally had kids, william had a different outlook on life
like fr,, this man works overtime now trying to get rid of the filth that is called nobles
he doesn’t want his kids to be raised in a world where just because you have more money than another means you get to look down on them
you still instill in them those good morals ofc
he also tries to be very present in their lives since he and his brother were raised as orphans
when he was younger, he didn’t mind it all much
but now that he had this small family and a brighter future, he did everything in his power to make sure they’re happy and grow up in a cleaner and kinder world
louis: 320 words
it took you a week to get him to at LEAST humor you
“if you could, how many kids do you want?”
“none”
like, this guy is so dedicated to his brother and his cause it is a WONDER you somehow wormed your way into his heart
but you did and honestly, the brothers are actually very happy that you’re with them
william especially
louis rarely emotes but when you came into their lives, you got louis pissed at one point and everyone was like,,,, wtf?? he has emotions???
anyways, his answer is one kid LMAO
and when you get that one kid, he looks just like louis
yall already KNOW that he’s ready to die for that child as soon as louis holds him in his arms
the only kid sebastian wouldnt even try to mess with
he can deal with william’s albert’s or fred’s kids but louis lowkey intimidates him so he’s as nice as he can be
that being said, louis teaches his kid how to properly handle stuff around the house
you want to cry bc ur son is just so??? the little kid just loves helping out no matter how small the task and he’s just so cute it hurts
even sebastian’s kinda like,, “aight he’s the only kid i will tolerate”
louis grew up with only his brothers so he also wants to give his son a shot at a normal family
is actually aware at how he thinks he’s indispensable for william’s cause and he doesn’t want his son to end up like him
he also teaches his son some badass fighting moves
oh and louis smiles a lot more too
cried bc his son saw the scar he got on his cheek, rubbed some dirt on his lil face and said “i have daddy’s cool scar now”
all in all his son is the best thing to happen to all of you
albert: 505 words
same as louis in the fact that it takes him a week to answer
“you know you haven’t even answered my question”
“i’m sorry, what did you say?”
“how many kids do you want?”
genuinely takes time to ponder that question
he hadn’t thought of that since his family adopted william and louis
but with you?
“i think two darling girls who take after their mother is enough for me”
pls he’d be so sweet 🥺🥺🥺
you two end up having a girl and a boy, who look just like their father
and tbh, you’re not even mad
you love them so much so when albert comes back north, the three of you are ecstatic
the happiness was short lived for albert tho
he found his son spending time with william and there’s nothing bad right????
“where’s your sister?”
“she’s with mr. moran”
his heart DROPPED
out of all the people in the manor
HIM
he sees the two running around the garden
it all happened as soon as albert’s daughter went up to sebastian and said “you’re very pretty! you’re my knight now!”
he decided to “adopt” the little girl and now he’s lowkey whipped
you found albert staring at sebastian playing with his daughter and updated him about everything going on
“but him??”
“he’s just a big softie for her let it go”
isn’t really surprised when he finds out they can fight a little
actually glad that they can hold their own, God forbid anything happens to them
otherwise mi6 has to deal w family matters lmao
“albert, she only tripped”
“you shouldve seen the fear in her eyes as she fell”
“IT WAS A STRAY COBBLESTONE”
would raise hell if anyone even THOUGHT ill of his kids
william and louis are the doting uncles
william more so than louis bc your kids have never seen louis smile
now they’re on a mission to make uncle louis smile
louis was on child duty one day and they managed to slip away
omyGOD he was stressed but also,, extremely worried
so when he found them he had the most genuine smile on his face
your daughter was like (・∀・)
she loves uncle louis
ofc your son adores his dad like,,, who else wouldn't feel awesome at the age of 10 if you found out your dad was a high ranking general
feels superior to sebastian bc of his dad
lmao this 4’5 kid thinks he can rule sebastian for some odd reason
the house is always dirty bc him and sebastian always prank each other
your daughter is trying to catch a butterfly but she can’t so fred helps
instantly loves fred
“is that what heartbreak is”
“i guess that’s what happens when you try to get close to my kids colonel”
albert is kind of afraid of turning into his dad but he has you and everyone else to remind him that: no you are not your father, you are so much better than him
loves your family with his entire being
sebastian: 844 words
“i see you looking at those kids and the answer is none”
lmao you’ll get so pouty around him bc you want kids dammit
that and he spoils you to no end so that's why you’re pouty lol
“fine we’ll only do one kid and bc one kid is all i can tolerate”
bruh
this man gives you three in four years LMFAO
two boys a year apart and a girl in the fourth year
you wanted to smack sebastian
when the two boys grew up, it was obvious they were already taking after their father in the physical sense
it was terrifying
they genuinely look like mini sebastians and you know everyone in the manor is afraid that you two birthed satan
and the satan was your eldest one
he’s just a feral sebastian moran in a tiny body
your second son, god bless him, looked just like his father but with fred’s temperament
and see, you were fine with your sons looking like their father
it was FINE right
you prayed to God that your third child would have at least some physical resemblance to you
your daughter was birthed, she grew up
and you cried
“HOW DO THEY ALL LOOK LIKE YOU”
“i’ve got some strong genetics, baby”
you sulk for a lil bit
but you accept it anyway because you love your goddamn kids
thankfully, your second and youngest child are both soft spoken and it's only your husband and his tiny clone bringing hell to earth
smacking sebastian bc all of your children suddenly started swearing up a storm at each other
“WHYD YOU HIT ME”
“YOURE THE ONLY ONE WHO SWEARS AROUND THE KIDS”
finally sitting down and trying to convince them to stop swearing
“father does it!”
“your father’s stupid”
speaking of your daughter
she’s his little princess and no he will not take criticism
spoils her more than he spoils you
did she glance at a toy at a passing store?
he buys more toys than he should from said store
you have to physically hide some of his money bc there is only so much you can buy
and her older brothers are so caring you want to sob
if a person accidentally shoved her over bc she was tiny and they couldn’t see her
oh boy
get ready to restrain them like chihuahuas
“little sister will be protected at all costs”
since his second son is so different from him, sebastian actively makes time to talk about what the little boy is doing and what he’s getting from it
doesn’t want to be pushy and suffocating like his dad was so when his younger kid does want to be left alone to his devices, sebastian does so
but honestly loves that your second son is so literate
lddhsajdsfk what yall dont know is that they’re all in cahoots
kinda funny to see them all together bc they all take after their father so much it's like having three tiny sebastians go around town
anyways,,,, yall know the promised neverland right
you got ray, norman, and emma
granted one of them wasn’t as smart as ray but he definitely knew what stealth was
regular sibling rivalry was still a thing but if they could smell the pudding from the kitchen, they know they have to work together
sebastian caught his eldest smuggling biscuits into a small bag
he had half a mind to scold him
but then he ended up giving tips TO ALL HIS CHILDREN on how not to get caught next time—
bc of this they beg him to tell them some stories from afghanistan bc “there’s no way a man as old as dad knows this many stealth tactics”
louis is so fed up lmao
albert is in london most of the time so he just thanks the lord that he doesn’t have to deal w the propaganda that sebastian feeds his children about how “mr. albert is a bad man”
william is fine w it as long as they don’t trash the library
your younger ones love the library so they would cry at the thought of one of the books losing any of the pages
your second and your daughter are definitely the moriartys’ favorites
they don’t show it, but you just KNOW
your eldest could care less about that though
as long as you and his father still love him
and of course you both do
and fred is definitely your youngers favorite
they like to hang out in the garden
ok they still fight all the time though
just because your second child is soft spoken doesn't mean he’s afraid to throw hands
their sister likes to join in for the hell of it
but if someone wrongs any of the children
just because the younger ones are the moriartys’ favorite, doesn’t mean that they’re not gonna hunt someone down if they even think about trying to hurt the eldest too
yeah,,, good luck to them and their families
they got the entire moriarty estate coming after them
fred: 241 words
cmon yall are like,, young
but you did ask him bc you were curious if he thought about it
he wants one
and when yall do have the kid, you guys actually do have one kid and its a girl
since you both are young, you can immediately see a resemblance between her and her father
everyone who meets her would die for her
ABSOLUTE CUTIE
especially when she walks around the garden w her hand in her dad’s and he’s showing her all the plants and telling her how to take care of them
needless to say she grows up loving plants
any type of plant
the boys love giving her flowers or anything from bc she has the biggest smile every single time
no matter if it’s just a single rose or a rock
this was found out one time when sebastian gave her a rock bc everyone else had given her like,, two roses each
was afraid she was gonna cry
“thank you so much mr. moran! i will treasure this until i get old!”
she was like 4 at the time
and had the widest smile you’ve ever seen on her
guys u don’t understand she smiles a lot but this was like,, genuine happiness
but everyone was just,, i will destroy the world and myself if anything happens to her
fr it’s just sunshines and rainbows every single time she’s around
everyone just loves her ok

The mad laughter rung out into the night sky as the purple Lamborghini hit corners with violently sharp turns. "Oh puddin I just love family night!~" The pale platinum blonde giggled as the man with green dyed hair licked his smiling lips. A bubble of laughter came from the back seat he turned around to see his princess looking out the small back window. "Batsy batsy batsy" Her low/high pitched giggle caused a crazy chain reaction as the bat mobile hurried to catch up. "Always ruining our fun, huh, princess?" The clown king shifted his gray-ish blue order into the mirror grinning making the scars on his face raise into a sinister smile at the look of pure chaos in his daughter's e/c eyes. "Not tonight! Not on my birthday!!" She said as she smiled reaching under the seat to pull out a Tommy gun. Climbing to the front seat sitting on her mothers lap she leaned out the passenger window. "Go back to the Rat cave your not gonna put a downer on my weekend!" Y/n yelled shooting off round towards the tires, windshield, and headlights.
The mobile didn't seem to have a scratch as as a motorcycle pulled up beside it. Slipping back in the car the younger women pouted looking at get parents. "He called his little birdie no doubt the replacements in the car." Y/n huffed as she dug around for more fire power. "Puddin we have a visitor.~" The red mask gazed at us as he lifted a forearm pistol. Shots were fired and Joker took a hard right almost like tron the motorcycle quickly turned into a ally to avoid being hit. "Sorry Princess might have to cut tonight shot." He said licking his lips as a thump came from the roof making the youngest clown snarl her eye crazed as she shot above her as the purple car swerved wildly. "YOU'RE RUINING MY BIRTHDAY,BATS!!!" Y/n cackled madly a mixture of her parents laughed till the magazine ran out.
They got to one of their warehouses where Jokers men were armed to the teeth. The clown mask had black soulless eyes and immediately fired the moment the batmobile entered. Y/n skipped out of the purple Lamborghini she got on her tippy toes and kissed her dad on the cheek. "I got the hooded punk. Can you clip the bats wings for me...a little present?!" He laughed as he armed himself with a shotgun. "Anything for my princess." The f/c sf/c female clown skipped away knowing that the motorcycle riding vigilante was hot on her tail. That's how she found herself on the roof tops jumping the gaps as heavy footfalls followed. Her loud laugh echoed as she leaped to a smaller building hiding behind a vent the moment the brown leather jacket came into view she tackled the tall man. They were both panting as a grin pulled on the clowns lips.
Y/n POV
"Caught ya,Jay bird." I giggled pulling of the helmet his apple green eyes covered by a second mask stared at me he chuckled as his hand slipped above his head in mock surrender. "Yeah you caught me,beautiful." Leaning down I kiss him my hands pushed into his cheeks my thumb running over the scarred J. We've been dating for awhile now ever since dad kidnapped the second Robin at seventeen. I was fifteen at the time and dad had me at his side as he tortured him.I was always there to stitched him up and put burn cream after shock therapy I didn't know how we got attached maybe because he wanted to rebel a little by talking to me or someone around his age saw the same if not worse shit.
Six years ago(Y/n 15 Jason 17)
"Why are you helping me?" Looking up his head was strapped down along with his arms and legs. I shrugged my shoulders I knew who he was if I wiped off the make up and temp dyed my hair I was the honor student in the same class as him. Jason Todd anyone with eyes had a thing for him,but after removing his mask it wasn't hard to piece together who the bat fam is. "I know what my dad has planned for you Jay. This is just a band-aid on a gunshot wound and might I say that's very unhelpful." This was the first I spoke to him and it wasn't long before Dad beat him to death.
Two years later.
I sat in the back of the car as Frost drove. We just left the cemetery. "Why are we doing this,n/n." He asked looking in the rear view mirror at me. I'm seventeen now my thoughts screamed at me. Why was I trying to bring him back? "Because I crazy that why!" I giggled as we grew closer to the lazapit. He was dressed in a black suit with red tie his body sunk into the water as I waited. A loud gasp drew my attention as he shot up a white streak in his hair. "Heya sleeping beauty." Looking over in shock he lowly made his way looking like a baby deer. "I'm alive, but h-how?" His green eyes looked at me. "A Ghoul owed me a few favors I just asked to use his fountain of youth." Handing him a towel and some clothes. "Sorry about the outfit, but Arkham does have one size fits all." Jason chuckled as he started to dry off.I realized why I brought him back. I was crazy about him.
Two more years later(two years ago)
Jason wanted to stay dead he didn't go back to His dad and brother after he realized that neither of them tried and save him. It was sad to see,but it brought Jason closer to me and he started to trust me and I gave trust in return. Blood coated my hands while some was on my face. Looking at Jay some was speckled on his cheeks taking the pockets square out of the mobsters coat I wiped it off he looked down at me his arm slipped around my waist pulling me closer my breath hicked. "Will you be my girlfriend,my little jester?" A large smile grew on my face as my arms went around his neck pulling him down further. "Gladly,Jay bird." I kissed him not caring if my lipstick stained his lips and he didn't seem to care either as the kiss grew more intense. We shared our first kiss at nineteen surrounded by dead bodies as sirens and the unmistakable sound of the armed batmobile. At least he's as crazy about me as I am about him.
One year ago. (Jason POV for a sec)
I came to Bruce I hate to admit it but I needed advice about the one think he knew best. Women. It was just a couple of months ago he found out I was alive and shocker he managed to drive Dicky boy to Blüdhaven to get away from him to get his own image and not just Robin. Oh and surprise surprise when out of robins he had a spare like a tire and it's name was Tim. Nevermind that I stood across from Bruce in his home main office he had a frown on his face. "You're dating someone and its serious and I didn't know about it?" He asked trying to deduct everything. "I've been dating her ever since I came back. As strange as it might sound, but I want us to be something more." That's when the billionaire playboy stood up standing just a inch shorter then myself.
"Life is short Jason and you've experienced that first hand if you feel that both of you are perfect enough to be more then go for it." Perfect wasn't realistic nothing was ever perfect my life isn't perfect her life sure as hell isn't she's the clown princess I'm a bat son. Maybe that what makes us so good together the fact that it would have never really happened any other way life is just crazy like that.
Present
Staring into those vexing green eyes always brought me back. We're both twenty-one him being older only by a couple of months. "Happy birthday, gorgeous." His voice brought me back as my smile grew. We were standing up now he held a box wrapped in my two favorite colors. "Awe you shouldn't have." I grab it and opened it a gun was inside it was red and gold revolver it looked like my moms love/hate gun,but it said King/Queen. Looking at Jay I reached to hug him when suddenly he dropped to one knee pulling out a box with a beautiful f/c ring and ruby gem. "This feels over due. You took care of me when I was considered enemy number one. You brought me back from the grave when my own family didn't try. And this might sound stupid, but I had a crush on you in middle school you were one of the only people that didn't give me pity after Bruce adopted a street kid." He licked his lips as he gave of a small smile. "Together we are far from perfect, but we are good. You complete me...Y/n M/n Napier become my queen?" My eyes glossed over with tears my make up running down the pale foundation. "Oh my god of course!!!" I jumped into his arms hugging him tightly before letting him slip on the ring. "I love you." "I love you more crazy." I chuckle it sounded watery in my throat. "If I'm crazy then that makes two of us. You wanted to marry me." Yep we're both batshit crazy.

day two ❅ cause i’m mrs. snow, til death we’ll be freezing
don’t cry snowman, don’t leave me this way, a puddle of water can’t hold me close, baby
day one ❅ day two ❅ day three | series masterlist
character: todoroki touya | dabi
genre: smut + angst
notes: weeee yay day two!! touya + co go ice skating :) this, again, was not supposed to be as long as it is, but eh here we are!! | title credit: snowman by sia
warnings: 18+, pseudo-incest (stepcest), drug use, very rough sex, public sex, generally toxic relationships, size difference, tense family dynamics, reader’s probably a lil too obsessed with touya’s cum, slight dacryphilia, slight degradation
words: 8.3k
synopsis:
I’m only worried about you, you want to say. It isn’t your intention to put more stress on him, especially when being forced to spend nearly every waking minute around his blood siblings is evidently very difficult for him, but you don’t want him dead because of it, either.
“I love you,” you tell him instead, unsaid words sown into the fabric of the sentence.
But he doesn’t need to hear you say it, he can feel it—in the air around you, radiating off your frame in thick waves that crash into him in the most pleasant way; in the way your soft fingertips stroke his cheeks, tracing his features with the utmost gentleness; in the way you gaze so tenderly at him, eyes sweeping across his face akin to the most compassionate caress.
It all makes him feel like he can do this, like he might actually survive this, so long as you’re by his side.
❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅ ❅
The wind howls gently, picking up swirls of snow and dusting it against the window, the snowflakes soft taptaptap’s echoing among the tiny bedroom. It’s grey but bright outside, the morning of December 22nd. Strands of hair stick to your cheeks and neck, chills erupting across your skin as you wiggle around beneath Touya’s heavy arm, laying across your waist in a loose grasp, your movements causing the blanket to slip from your clammy skin, a soft hiss spit through your teeth as the cool air of the room hits your heated skin. Touya’s got his head buried in the pillow, his torso laying half on top of yours, legs intertwined.
“Touya-nii,” you whimper, eyebrows furrowing a little in frustration as you struggle under him. “Niichan,”
“Mmph,” he emits an unintelligible noise in response, muffled by the pillow.
“Niichaaaaan,” the honorific leaves your lips in a whine, giving another weak shove at his arm. “Niichan, you’re so hot, I’m gonna melt,”
“Too bad. We’re not getting up yet,”
You whine again, your squirming becoming more vigorous. “But Touya-nii, I’m so thirsty! Please, my mouth is drier than the desert, I swear to God,”
“If you don’t stop acting like a brat, I’m gonna fuck you like a brat,”
“Is that supposed to be a threat?”
That gets his attention, fluffy head shooting up, white tufts tousled and standing on end, sleepy eyes squinting against the sudden light as he tries to glare at you. “Excuse me?”
The deep, rough lilt to his voice, heavy with sleep, makes your stomach flutter, blood rushing to your cheeks as you gaze at him.
Even in the morning, he’s stupidly beautiful.
“G-Got you up,” you giggle a little, reaching forward to run your fingers through his messy hair, smoothing it down in the process.
He deadpans, glaring at you for a moment, though there’s no heat in his eyes. You stare back, blinking twice, little fingers trailing down the side of his face and then tracing his jaw, murmuring about how pretty he is.
“Pretty, huh?” he finally sighs, a small grin spreading across his cheeks, head tilting to the side as your fingers travel down his neck, tracing the intricate black ink.
“Mm, very pretty,” you whisper to yourself, eyes zeroing in on his adams apple as it bobs with his chuckle. “But I’m still thirsty,”
He laughs again, rolling his eyes and pushing himself up completely, sheets pooling at his waist. “Fucking brat,”
It’s just past 9am, but the kitchen is empty. Touya carries you there, and even though you’re more than capable of walking by yourself, you snuggle into his neck, scattering gentle kisses across the scarred skin, head resting against his broad shoulder.
He exhales a sigh as you do so, and you can physically feel the tension leaving his body, a tiny bit more with each kiss you press against him.
A soft yelp hitches in your throat as he places you on the counter, cold marble stinging the bare skin of your thighs, Touya smirking at the sound as he wanders over to the fridge, rooting through it for a moment before turning back towards you.
“Water?” you make a face. Touya deadpans for the second time in fifteen minutes.
“You said you were thirsty, did you not?”
“Yeah, but…” you trail off shyly, hooking your ankles together and swinging your legs a little. “I wanted chocolate milk,”
“No,” he says instantly, slamming the fridge shut with more force than necessary, jars jiggling and clinking together with the motion. “Water first,” he uncaps the bottle and holds it out to you. “Don’t you dare start pouting,” he adds, when your eyebrows are beginning to knit together, voice stern. “You did not drag me out of bed at nine in the fucking morning because your mouth was drier than the desert just to pout when I give you water. You know you aren’t allowed sugar first thing in the morning, baby,”
You suppose he has a point, working hard to smooth your face as you take the bottle from him.
“M’sorry, niichan,” you murmur before taking a sip, gazing at him through your lashes.
He glares at you for another moment before a tiny grin breaks his face, shaking his head with a soft chuckle.
“You’re really testing me this morning,” he mumbles as large hands pry your knees apart, wedging his hips between your thighs while hands curl around your hips and drag you towards the edge of the counter. Your legs wrap around his waist—an automatic reaction—ankles hooking again and holding him close, bodies pressed flush together.
Something’s still off, you can tell, evident in the way his head drops the moment you’re close enough, forehead resting against the crown of your head, exhaling.
“It’s not very nice, babygirl,” he speaks again after a beat of silence, calloused hands slipping under your—his, your mind reminds you—t-shirt, palming your hips. “Think you should make it up to me, hmm?”
And you want to, God, do you ever want to, want to kiss all of his sorrow away, want to pull those gorgeous broken whines and throaty moans from him, want to help him forget about whatever it is that’s bothering him so deeply, to lock it out of his head, shoving it from his mind as his brain is filled with thoughts of you. But…
“B-But niichan, we’re in the kitchen,” you have to force the trembling words from your mouth, biting down hard on your lip to keep from moaning as his teeth skim along your neck, evoking a full body shiver.
“So?” his lips brush against your skin, nimble fingers dipping into your cute pink panties.
“Anyone could—could come in any second and—”
“What? Catch us?” he pulls back a little, smirking. “And?” sapphire searches your face as heat rushes to your cheeks, rushes shamefully between your legs. He snorts a moment later, pressing two fingers against your clothed cunt. “Exactly,” the word is just a huff of breath as he nudges his nose against yours. “You’d love that, wouldn’t you?”
“I—”
“Don’t try lying,” he sounds bored as he cuts you off, fingers rubbing at your little hole through the damp cotton of your panties. “Your pussy’s very honest,”
And the broken whine that hitches in your chest is nothing short of absolutely pathetic, back arching and eyes fluttering as he begins flicking his thumb over your clit, keeping his touches light and fast.
“Yeah,” he breathes, the word bordering on a growl. “Of course you would. Bet you could cum from just this if Natsuo were watching, huh? Want everyone to know how easy you are for niichan? How much of a good little slut you are for niichan?”
“You planning on testing that theory out?”
Natsuo’s unexpected voice makes you jump, eyes snapping open and flying to his face as you choke on a gasp, Touya’s thumb choosing then to press hard against your swollen little clit, forcing an embarrassingly loud cry from your lips and paying no mind to his younger brother, who’s leaning casually against the doorframe with a smirk decorating his face. In fact, Touya doesn’t react to Natsuo at all—
Because he already knew.
“N-Niichan,” you nearly wail, burying your scalding face in his shoulder, nails digging into the smooth muscles of his back.
“Aww,” Natsuo coos, and he sounds genuine. “C’mon, don’t hide from me, sweetheart,”
“What, now you’re shy? When you were about to get off on the very thought just moments ago?” Touya’s patronizing chuckle vibrates against you, though his hands are on your back, petting you in smooth, soothing motions.
“Niisan, don’t tease,” Natsuo laughs, and you smush your face harder against Touya’s shoulder, whimpering a little as Natsuo’s voice gets closer. “I just figured if you two were gonna have a cheeky lil fuck in the kitchen, the least you could do is let me watch,”
Touya begins laughing again, starts to say something, voice abruptly cutting off. You stiffen, clinging to him, breath bated as you listen.
“Surprised you two were the first ones up,” Fuyumi’s voice floats through the space, tone clipped.
You peak out from over Touya’s shoulder, watching as Fuyumi fiddles around with their extremely expensive coffeemaker, a deep scowl etched into her face.
“Oh? And why’s that?” Touya asks lightly, sounding genuinely surprised, innocently curious.
“You know why,” she snaps, slamming her coffee mug down on the granite countertop and whipping her head around to glare at her older brother.
Touya chuckles and shakes his head, maintaining that he doesn’t, he swears, and if you didn’t know any better, if you couldn’t see the smug smirk on his face, the mocking amusement swirling in his eyes, you’d believe him to be telling the truth.
But Fuyumi knows him better than that, rolling her eyes and grumbling unintelligibly under her breath. Shouto chooses then to enter the kitchen, hair slightly mussed, looking a little like a white and red haystack atop his head, and Touya’s body goes rigid.
He yawns out his morning greeting, glancing around the room, mismatched eyes lingering on your bare thighs for just a second too long.
Touya notices, because Touya notices everything—especially when it comes to Shouto, cobalt eyes sharp and trained on his every movement—moving to shield you with his body as best he can.
“C’mon princess,” he’s mumbling as his hands force their way under your ass, hefting you up again. “Let’s go,”
And no one misses the way Shouto watches the two of you leave, the way his sleepy eyes focus on your ass—just barely concealed by the cotton panties, Touya’s hands providing more coverage than the garment does—then move down to his brother’s shameless erection, partially obscured by your body, inhaling a sharp gasp that everyone hears, that everyone knows what it’s in reaction to, that everyone ignores.
❅ ❅ ❅
Today’s activity is ice skating, Rei tells you as your exiting the cabin.
She looks excited, a smile on her soft lips, eyes bright as she pats your shoulder, and it makes warmth flutter in your chest, glad to see the events of yesterday haven’t completely dampened her mood.
“Do you know how to skate?” Natsuo asks you, bouncing a little on the balls of his feet.
“I do,” you say proudly, looking over at Rei as you reach Touya’s car, sharing a grin. “Rei taught me not long after she and my father started dating,”
“Aw, mom,” Natsuo coos, looking over at his mother for reassurance. “That’s sweet,”
Rei hums, nodding as her eyes drift back to yours.
“Hold on a second,” she says as her smile slowly begins to dissipate, glancing from Touya’s hand on the handle of his car’s passenger door, to your face, to Natsuo standing by his own car a few feet away, brows knitting.
“What are you doing?”
“Getting in the car?” his response comes out as a question, spoken slowly as he’s worried it’s the wrong answer, tilting his head a little like a puppy.
“There’s no need for you to take more than one car,” Rei says pointedly, her gaze darting to Touya, holding his eyes even though she was speaking to Natsuo. His mouth falls open to protest, but she continues. “The five of you will fit in one. We’ll see you there,”
Her tone is final as she turns away and gets into her own car, the five of you watching in silence as it reverses onto the road, snow and ice cracking and popping under the thick tires. Natsuo turns back to the group, a large, boyish smile on his face.
“It’s fine! We’ll take my car,” Natsuo’s eyes soften a little as he looks over at his silver Porsche, patting the roof affectionately.
“No,” Fuyumi responds immediately. “Absolutely not.”
Stone eyes fly back to her face, alarmed. “What! Why?”
“Because you drive like a lunatic—I refuse to ride in any car when you’re behind the wheel,”
Natsuo frowns as he rounds his car, coming to stand with the group. “Well your car isn’t here, since you came up with mom, so—”
“We can take Touya’s car,”
“No,” Touya nearly growls, the unexpected rumbling deep in his chest causing everyone to flinch.
“Why not?” Fuyumi’s eyebrows furrow in confusion, eyes narrowing slightly as she glances at her older brother. “I can’t think of any reason—”
“He is not stepping foot in my fucking car,”
Fuyumi’s eyes widen slightly, staring at him in disbelief, arms crossed tightly over her chest. “You’re kidding, right?”
“Do I look like I’m fucking kidding, or are you really that stupid?”
“Touya-nii,” you gasp softly, tugging on his arm a little and then hugging it to your chest. His voice drips with venom, sharper than a tungsten needle, and it makes both you and Natsuo wince, despite not being the object of his fury.
“Fine, Christ, I just won’t come then,” Shouto finally chimes in with a roll of his eyes. “Will that make you happy?”
Touya whirls around to face him, rips his arm from your grasp so aggressively, so suddenly, that it sends you stumbling backwards. Natsuo catches you quickly, righting you with an arm wrapped around your shoulders.
“You wanna know what would make me happy? You fucking de—”
“That’s enough,” Fuyumi cuts him off with a glare so fierce it sends chills skittering across your skin, regardless of the thick sweaterdress and heavy jacket you’re currently wrapped up in. Natsuo must feel it course through your body, because he pulls you tighter against him, fingers digging into your shoulder.
Touya’s eyes snap to his sister, raising an eyebrow as a terrifying smile spreads across his face. It’s a smile you’ve only seen a few times before, gleaming white teeth on display, angular jaw clenched tightly. It’s a smile that makes icy dread pool in your stomach, thick and heavy, and you try to press yourself closer to Natsuo, body flush against his side, partially hiding your face in his chest.
Still, Fuyumi does not waver. “You are an adult, Touya. For God’s sake, act like one! Shouto is not a disease—”
“Could’ve fooled me,”
“—that will infect your car! He’s your baby brother!”
Touya’s eye twitches at the term, painful smile stretching even wider. In the pale afternoon sunlight, those glinting white teeth look pointier than normal, and you whimper into Natsuo’s chest.
“My car, my rules,”
“Oh my God! Are you being ser—”
“Alright, this is getting a little ridiculous,” Natsuo jumps in quickly, trying to keep his voice light. “You’re scaring our little princess, niisan,” he says, voice softer, a large hand rubbing your shoulder in comfort.
Touya spins around again, wild sapphire eyes finding yours, his face falling the moment your gazes meet.
Little fingers have tangled themselves in Natsuo’s jacket, clinging to him so hard the skin over your knuckles is stretched taut. Your entire body trembles as you blink hard, trying in vain to clear the tears rushing to your eyes. The pounding of your heart echoes in your ears, so loud you can’t hear what Touya says as he swoops towards you, eyes wide and worried.
“We’ll take my car, and Fuyumi will drive.”
Natsuo’s voice holds the same note of finality that his mother’s does, large hand still curled around your shoulder as firm stone eyes scan the three faces in front of him.
❅ ❅ ❅
Touya refuses to have you and Shouto in the back seat alone, and Natsuo insists that he sits in the passenger seat, to make sure Fuyumi doesn’t hurt his baby, he explains, which is how you end up smack in the middle of the oldest and youngest Todoroki children.
It’s cramped—they’re both too big to be in the backseat of such a small car—resulting in the three of you being squished together, your body packed in tightly—practically wedged—between theirs.
It’s nearly impossible to keep your thigh from brushing against Shouto’s, but you try anyway, leaning into Touya as much as you can. A strong, possessive arm is wrapped tightly around your waist, fingers fisted in the material of your little sweaterdress, sapphire eyes hyper-focused on the way Shouto’s corduroy clad thigh keeps knocking against your bare knee with every gentle jolt of the car.
But when Shouto idly drops his large hands heavily to his lap with a sigh, long fingers splayed casually, just the very tip of his pinky resting against your thigh—well.
Touya sees fucking red, yanking your body away from his little brother immediately with a vicious growl caught in his throat, the movement so sudden and unexpected it has both you and Shouto gasping, heterochromatic eyes wide and alert as they snap to his eldest brother’s face,
He hadn’t even noticed. Truthfully, you probably wouldn’t have either if it hadn’t been Touya’s suffocating, overbearing presence beside you—engulfing you, causing you to be excessively aware of every miniscule movement, every jostle and touch and bump.
“Don’t fucking touch her,”
It takes Shouto another half a second before the realization hits him, eyes darting down to his thighs, finally taking note of the placement of his fingers. Then he’s scoffing, rolling his eyes as he huffs to himself, quiet and under his breath, something about Touya being absolutely ridiculous and childish and insecure.
Yet Shouto’s legs spread a little more every time Touya pulls you a few centimeters closer to him, ensuring that your thighs can never quite escape his, his strong muscles constantly nudging against yours.
It isn’t until you push your knee back against his, hard and purposeful, giving Shouto a sharp look, that this behaviour finally halts.
“Who’s being childish now?” you hiss, eyes holding his sternly, widening a moment later as if to say, Stop aggravating him.
Shouto’s face falls, lips tugging down into a frown as his gaze searches your face, head shaking a little. He opens his mouth—to apologize, you think—but is cut off by Touya’s immature snickering, his chest vibrating against your back.
“Fuck you,” he seethes instead, eyes narrowing and mouth snapping into a firm, unimpressed line.
“Watch it—”
“Play nice, you two,” Natsuo warns from the front seat. “I won’t hesitate to pull this car over and beat both your asses on the side of the road for everyone to see,”
“Okay, dad,” Shouto snorts as Touya simultaneously responds with, “I’d like to see you try,”
Nevertheless, Natsuo’s little warning does manage to shut them up for the remainder of the ride, Shouto crossing his legs, knees pressed up painfully against the door in an attempt to stop touching you. You’re practically in Touya’s lap by the time you arrive at the Ena Skating Rink at Crystal Park, seatbelt uncomfortably biting into your flesh through your clothing.
“I don’t understand why we had to drive an hour just to go skating,” Shouto grumbles just as Fuyumi turns into the parking lot, face set in a deep frown, eyebrows furrowed as he glares out the window. “There was a perfectly fine lake like, ten minutes from the cabin,”
“Shou, you sound like a petulant teenager,”
“Technically, he is a petulant teenager,”
“Not for much longer,”
“That’s right, your birthday’s coming up,” you say automatically without thinking, words slipping from your mouth as Fuyumi circles the lot in search of a parking spot. In the past, Shouto would’ve ignored such a slip-up, figuring the politeness of providing you an answer not worth Touya’s wrath, but now he turns to face you with a small smile, heterochromatic eyes almost twinkling, mask of irritability burning off his face in an instant.
“Yeah, in a few weeks,” he shrugs a shoulder. “I’ll be twenty,”
Do you have any plans?
The question lingers on the tip of your tongue, words frozen at the back of your throat as Touya’s hand curls protectively around you, strong fingers digging into your plush waist hard enough to make you wince.
But Shouto has become pretty good at reading you over these past few years, no longer needs you to voice your thoughts—the two of you have become accustomed to communicating through looks and expressions alone, to keep from sending Touya into an absolute rampage, to keep the both of you safe.
“Not sure what I’m doing yet,” he answers, keeping his voice light, though those mismatched eyes are sharply trained on your face, ready to analyze and decode whatever expression your features morph into.
This is the first time he’s ever verbally answered, though, and it hits you like a bag of bricks swung at your chest, the realization that this is something the two of you have built up together, something the two of you have spent years doing, working together silently, quietly, subtly, to keep Touya placid, something the two of you have been subconsciously doing to protect each other.
The thought inspires an odd feeling in your stomach, chest tightening with something akin to anxiety, something bitter and heavy rooting in the pit of your belly.
Touya saves you from having to answer, hastily unbuckling your seatbelt for you the moment Fuyumi’s finished reversing the car and nearly hauling you out before she’s even cut the engine.
❅ ❅ ❅
“You’re not coming?” you ask Touya as he slips your foot into a skate, beginning to lace it up.
Touya shakes his head. “No,”
“Touya never learned how to skate—refused to, actually,” Natsuo informs you, sitting down next to you on the bench and playfully bumping his shoulder against yours.
Tilting you head, you stare at him, a soft little oh slipping from your lips. Touya avoids your gaze, jaw clenching rhythmically.
“It’s for the best. He really shouldn’t be near any sort of blade for an extended period of time, not while Shouto’s in reach,” Natsuo jokes, though no one laughs, because it’s true.
Touya spends most of his time leaning against the boards, bright sapphire eyes trained on you, glued to you, cataloging all of your movements, each of your cute little giggles and soft little smiles, every hand on your shoulder or waist as it steadies you.
It’s hard for him to watch.
It’s hard for him to watch the way your eyes twinkle as Fuyumi speaks to you, the two of you gliding around the ice nonchalantly, hard for him to watch the way Natsuo pulls endless laughter from your throat as his gloved hands hold yours, pulling you along with him, hard for him to watch when Shouto appears beside you, slowing his stride to talk animatedly to you, the two of you absorbed in whatever discussion you’re having.
And yet, he can tell something isn’t right. Your eyes are twinkling, but they don’t gleam the way they do when you gaze at him. You’re laughing, but it isn’t as bubbly and pure as it is when evoked by him. You’re talking, but you aren’t wholly and completely captivated by whatever it is Shouto’s saying to you, gaze constantly drifting just over his shoulder, connecting with Touya’s.
Those ten little words from the night before echo through his mind again, and his molars grind together, but the look in your eyes, the way your face positively lights up when you skate towards him, past him, blowing kisses and giggling behind mitten covered hands, stomps them to little pieces, to dust, your fleeting presence blowing them away. He feels like he can fucking breathe again, each time you glide by him, resolve hardening a little more with every lap past him.
No, he knows he’s the best for you, absolutely is without a doubt the very best for you— and you confirm it with that loving, adoring, doting look every single time.
Despite this, he keeps disappearing intermittently, your heart sinking just a little bit more every time you look over to see him nowhere to be found, a sour taste settling on the back of your tongue. This is only the second day into the trip and you’re already terrified, knowing that he’s filling his nostrils with that fine white powder the moment he begins to feel his high fading, the moment he feels himself beginning to come down.
And by the third time he vanishes within a single hour, you decide you can no longer stand by and do nothing, say nothing—he’s gone for more than usual this time, an uneasy sense of dread flooding your body, making your limbs tingle as your heart begins to race, plopping down on the wooden bench and bending down to quickly unlace your skates. Your voice shakes as you tell the others that you’d like to take a short break from skating, claiming that your feet are sore, and that you’d like to rest for a while.
In actuality, you’re sure they all know what you’re doing, itching to go search for Touya, heart pounding painfully as several scenarios flash through your mind, but they say nothing, nodding with those polite smiles they all plaster on their faces any time something like this occurs.
The muscles in your thighs ache as you jog across the snow-dusted field, eyes frantically darting around the large open space in search for a man with ivory hair and azure eyes. Your feet take off the moment you spot him, an instinctual reaction, breath ragged and burning in your chest as you barrel into him, winding your arms around his waist tightly and burying your face in his strong chest.
“Hey, hey, hey,” he’s murmuring softly, arms encircling you and squeezing you against him, dropping a kiss to the crown of your head. “What’s going on, princess?”
Pulling back, your eyes study his face, stomach plummeting when you see it.
“Out playing in the snow again?”
Cobalt eyes narrow, Touya tilting his head in question as he stares at you. A frown mars your face, deep sigh leaving your nostrils without your permission, and Touya bristles. A tender thumb swipes across his nose, showing him the pure white powder it gathers.
“Slow down,” you say softly, gently, cautious eyes watching him carefully. “I don’t want a trip to the ER for Christmas,”
He holds your gaze for a moment, and you can see it, the blue fire simmering deep within them, but because it’s Christmas—and only because it’s Christmas—he blinks twice, extinguishing the flame to dull embers.
Chest heaving once, deep and heavy, he sighs out of parted lips, holding your hand to his cheek. Sapphire eyes close briefly as he nuzzles his face into your touch, and for a moment—just for a second—you think he’s about to apologize.
But that would be a Christmas miracle.
“Keep me in line,” he says quietly, shoulders slumping a little in defeat, a tiny sardonic grin on his lips as his eyes open again, searching your face. “Okay? Can’t let my best girl down on Christmas, now, can I?”
And although his shoulders are straining under the weight of this new responsibility—to try and restrain himself a little more, to not solely rely on the drugs to numb him to everything, to give up autonomy, power, to you—a weight feels like it’s been lifted off of yours, regardless of the fact that he’s asking you to control him, and you inhale deeply, able to breathe again.
The thought produces an inexplicable lump in his throat and he blinks hard, glittering eyes sweeping across your face before he seizes it, large hands cupping your jaw almost painfully as he pulls your face towards his, lips capturing yours in a crushing kiss.
Niichan! You try to squeal, muffled by his lips, Touya using the opportunity to shove his tongue into your mouth, down your throat.
Traitorous as ever, your body melts into his only a second later, fingers latching behind his neck, trying to pull yourself closer.
“I need more,” he mumbles against your lips before pecking them again, eyes still closed. “I need more, baby, I need more right now,”
“Then take it,” you whine breathlessly into his mouth, echoing your words from the night before. “Take it, it’s yours,”
❅ ❅ ❅
It smells like damp rubber and stale snow, with a hint of year-old hard candy crushed beneath snow boots, releasing faint scents of artificial strawberry and orange.
The restroom is filthy, but neither of you care, too wrapped up in each other to pay much mind to the grime on the walls, or the flaky rust on the faucet—which is quietly dripping intermittently, covered in little droplets of condensation that gleam under the harsh florescent light humming above, tubes exposed.
The cement wall is cold against your bare skin as Touya rucks your dress up around your waist, hands under your ass supporting your weight as your legs wrap around him obediently, praising you for listening to him and never wearing pants, even in weather like this, because god, it makes everything so much easier, baby.
In the past, you would’ve been in a rush, positive you didn’t have much time before someone noticed your absence.
But your family is used to this now, completely unphased by the two of you disappearing for twenty, sometimes thirty minutes and returning with swollen lips and freshly fucked hair.
It’s not like they can say anything, anyway—it’s not like anything is going to stop the two of you now; it’s not like anything would’ve stopped the two of you before, either.
Despite this, Touya still doesn’t exactly take his time with you, large hands pawing at your breasts, your waist, your hips, fingers dipping into the elastic waistband of your panties just to let it snap back against your skin, reveling in the little yelp it conjures from you.
“Already soaked,” he sneers in your ear as two fingers skim over your lace-clad cunt. “Of course you are. I don’t know why I expected any less,” he huffs out a chuckle; a mean, harsh sound that ghosts over the shell of your ear before he captures it with his teeth, biting down hard and forcing a high-pitched squeal from your throat. “Because my baby’s such a Goddamn slut, isn’t she,” his lips are against your ear as he murmurs in that low, sultry voice, hot breath contrasting the cool air of the restroom, and you shiver violently.
“Only for you,” you whine out, already breathless.
And you’ll never get over how easily he knocks the air out of your lungs with just a few dirty words and prodding fingers, stroking your slit through drenched lace in a way that’s almost gentle, careful, purposeful, sure to keep his touches as teasing and not nearly enough.
Still, those three words have more of an effect on him than you would’ve thought, a possessive growl ripping from his chest as he grinds his hard cock against your inner thigh, the denim rough against your soft skin.
That growl in particular is your favourite, and you tell him so.
“Yeah?” he laughs a little, pulling back as sapphire searches your face rapidly, wide and bright and alert with the cocaine rushing through his body.
“Makes me—” sharp teeth sink into the flesh of your neck, just above your shoulder, a loud gasp cutting you off and bouncing against the walls of the small room. “Makes me wet, niichan,”
He groans into your skin, tongue wet and warm and caressing the skin in little licks back and forth, back and forth, back and forth as he sucks, branding you with brilliant violet.
“What’s this? My princess talking so dirty without being prompted?” he pulls back to look at you, and you can see the amusement dancing in his deep, deep eyes, endless pits of cerulean smothering everything their gaze touches, almost voracious as they soak it all up, feeling like they’re sucking the very life from you in the most delicious way.
A pitiful squeak escapes your lips in the form of an answer, heat seeping into your cheeks. He’s mocking you—you can tell. Those three words uttered from your lips aren’t even that dirty, are nothing compared to some of the things that have come out of your mouth while you’re delirious on his cock, begging for his cum.
Still, you’re unable to find your voice, staring at him in an almost helpless manner, a little kitten in the clutches of a jaguar, claws beginning to close in on you, trapping you between heavy, sharp paws.
“Ah,” he smirks, eyes darkening dangerously. “Not so bold when niichan’s actually looking at you, are you?”
Front teeth dig into your bottom lip, chewing on it a little as you hold his gaze, feeling heat gush between your thighs, the symphony of your combined slightly ragged breathing ringing in your ears.
“Say it again,”
And you try—really, you do, lips separating as you try to force the words out, a nasty combination of frustration and shame eroding your chest, burning and acidic, then shaking your head a moment later.
“Just,” you whimper as you try to pathetically rock against him. “Please?”
“Nah, nah, nah,” he’s shaking his head, that stupid grin etched across his face, pulling back even more but keeping you up against the wall, hands still cupping your ass, hips pinning yours. “Niichan isn’t gonna fuck you now unless you ask for it,”
Your forehead creases with a deep frown. You usually ask him to fuck you, don’t you? “I alwa—”
“No, no, you don’t,” he says simply with a tilt of his head. “Niichan wants you to really ask for it this time,”
You blink rapidly in confusion. “I-I don’t understand,”
Little breaths are beginning to leave your mouth, speeding up with the racing of your heart, terrified to upset him. Yet he looks amused, looks like he’s having so much fun as he torments you.
“Aw, sweetheart,” he coos with a false pout, mimicking your own. “You’re not that stupid, are you?”
A little whimper leaves your lips, chin twitching, threatening to begin trembling as you shake your head at him, unable to find words. Heat floods your face again, little pinpricks under the skin of your cheeks, a physical manifestation of your humiliation as he tuts his tongue.
“I don’t know how else to explain it to you,” he shrugs nonchalantly, though you can feel his cock throbbing through the thick denim of his jeans. “Just ask for my cock, babygirl,”
Although oozing with patronization, his voice is soft, blown pupils gazing at you with so much love it’s nearly overflowing from his eyes, slender fingers kneading the flesh of your ass almost tenderly as he waits.
And that’s all the encouragement you need, really.
“I-I want your cock, nii—” you begin, voice fading as your eyes meet his unimpressed gaze, raising an eyebrow at you as if to say Really? That’s the best you got?
A fierce need to prove yourself, to make him moan again, to make his stomach tense from just your words alone, blazes in your chest, burning through your veins and giving you another surge of confidence.
Gazing at him through your lashes, you pout a little more. “Niichan,” you whine out the honorific, back arching a little as you do. “Please, niichan, give it to me, I’m begging, my pussy is aching for your cock, T-Touya-nii—I need it filling me up, need it right now, f-feels so empty without you stretching me wide open,” the sentence fades off into a little whimper, but his lidded, glazed eyes, and the way his tongue runs along his bottom lip as he stares at you spurs you on, more dirty words spilling from your lips. “Feels—Feels wrong without your f-fat cock inside of me,” you nearly weep. “Please, niichan, make it right again,”
The gentle tremble in your voice only adds to it, somehow manages to make you seem so fucking innocent as you whine out such filthy words, and Touya can barely handle it, rubbing against your thigh, the repetitive motion of the denim dragging across your soft skin causing it to chafe.
“Fucking Christ,” he breathes, pressing his forehead against yours as his eyes slip shut. “I wish I had recorded that,”
A cute, shy little giggle bubbles up your throat, face still burning. “I-I can say it again, if you want, niichan,”
He laughs—a genuine laugh deep in his throat, paired with a smile that meets his eyes—and presses a chaste kiss to your nose.
“One day, I’ll film us,” he vows, and the thought alone makes your stomach swoop. “But now, niichan’s gonna make you feel right again, okay, princess?”
“Oh, please, please,” you’re whimpering, body quivering against him.
“Shh, niichan’s got you,” he murmurs as he fiddles with his belt using a singular hand, your tiny fingers wandering down between your bodies to aid him.
Shoving your panties to the side, the head of his cock presses against you, and you wince in anticipation of the stretch—the stretch you so lovingly begged him for, he reminds you, sapphire eyes soaking up every single one of your expressions as he pushes in; reveling in the way your shut lids tighten, face screwing up in pain as the softest little yelp hitches in your throat.
It burns unlike anything you’ve ever felt before, abused cunt still sore and raw from the night before, from being fucked so ruthlessly less than twenty-four hours ago.
But you’re so wet, he breathes, rolling his hips slowly, stretching you little hole out just a bit more with each unhurried rock of his hips against yours. The wetness does nothing to stop the sting that accompanies his motions, though, reopening the tiny superficial fissures in your sensitive skin, quite literally tearing you apart, again, as your cunt yields to his girth.
“Niichan, hurts,”
“Yeah, baby?”
Little fingers curl in his thick sweater, and you whimper out an affirmative, head nodding lethargically against his shoulder.
“I thought you wanted niichan to fill you up?” he speaks as though he’s confused, a hint of condescension sown into the question, never halting his thrusts.
“I-I do!” you say quickly, head shooting up to gaze at him with glassy eyes, thick shield of unshed tears causing them to gleam in the harsh light. “I do,”
“Well then,” he smirks at you, hips pulling back, slow and controlled, before thrusting back in, sharp and fast, so hard it shoves your body up the wall, head whacking against the concrete with such force it sends agonizing pain shooting through your skull like lightning strikes. “Stop being a fucking brat, and take what niichan’s giving you,” he scolds over the piercing cry that falls from your lips, voice rough, deep, rumbling the way thunder does, buried in thick clouds on a humid summer’s day.
“Ungrateful little slut,” he snarls out, panting a little as his hips set a punishing pace, rapidly slamming into you, his jutting hipbones digging into the fresh bruises from the night before.
And you’re powerless to stop the noises you’re emitting, catching in your throat in time with his harsh thrusts, little mewls of niichan! and broken whines bouncing off the solid, cold walls, each one reverberating in his skull, forcing his hips to drive faster, harder, deeper.
But it’s fucking intoxicating, the way he’s pulling those needy little sounds from you as tears slip down your cheeks, pompously spitting demeaning words at you, sugarcoated in a thin, gleaming layer of praise. He’s a goddamn drug, words invading your mind and casting a thick haze over it, and during that moment all you can see is him, hear is him, taste is him—you swear you can feel him rushing through your veins, his heady scent of expensive cologne mixed with hickory campfire and a hint of Marlboros filling your lungs, the organs swelling painfully as you hold him inside your chest, trying to keep a piece of him close to your heart.
He stops to readjust your position, grunting as hooks an arm under your knee and yanks, ripping it from around his waist and forcing it toward your torso, your ankle nearly resting on his shoulder, his hand splayed flat against the dirty wall, using it as leverage. Your other leg clings to him, wrapped so tightly around his body that the muscles are beginning to quiver. Still, this brief pause affords you a much needed moment to catch your breath before his hips piston into you again, harsh, strong, fast, cockhead slamming against your cervix with each snap of his hips.
Each thrust forces another yelp to tear from your throat, your voice hoarse and raw, as he bruises your abused cervix, sharp spikes of pain shooting up your lower back and down your trembling thighs. He’s a watery blur at this point, eyes overflowing with tears, nails digging into the meat of his shoulders as you clutch him, arms beginning to ache from holding yourself up.
Tufts of white hair stick to his neck and forehead, clumped together with sweat. He’s almost whining out curses, slipping from between clenched teeth as his thrusts continue to pick up speed, although you can barely hear him over the sound of your own ragged breathing, peppered with pitiful little sobs that leave your chest heaving.
“Look at you,” he gasps out, wild sapphire eyes searching your face. “So fucking beautiful, taking my cock so well,”
And even in such a position, inebriated from the potent combination of pain and pleasure and him, his praise still makes your heart soar. A little pink tongue darts out to wet your chapped lips, bitten raw by him and salty with your own tears. Strand of hair stick to your puffy cheeks, though you’re unsure if they’re coated in sweat or tears.
“C’mon, baby,” he nearly keens. “Want you to be a good girl and cum for me,”
And those two tiny, four letter words are the magic words, like they always are, your head nodding vigorously, incoherent babbling bubbling past your lips; yes niichan, of course, wanna be a good girl for you, touya-nii, the best girl, your best girl.
He gives you permission to touch your clit, swollen and aching from neglect, your fingers sneaking between your bodies to rub at it, pussy clenching almost immediately.
“Oh, fuck,” he whimpers, squeezing his eyes shut tightly. “Yeah baby, just like that, milk niichan for all the cum he’s got,”
The praise, mixed with a direct command, has your fingers speeding up, moving in rapid circular motions, that cord of heat in your stomach coiling tighter, and tighter, and tighter, until it finally snaps, your little cunt throbbing as you gush around his cock.
He follows immediately after with a dark growl of your name, hips stilling as he finally cums, pinning you against the wall, cockhead pressed tightly against your sore cervix.
It’s thick, scalding, and copious, wrecked little noises getting caught in your throat as his cock pulses, filling you with endless spurts of cum; so much, too much, and you’re sure your womb isn’t nearly big enough to take it all, positive that it’s leaking out of you, running down your ass and down his balls.
You still haven’t caught your breath by the time Touya’s releasing you, hands firm on your hips as he places you gently on your feet, keeping you steady as your legs shake. You can still feel his cum leaking out of you, and you wish you had something better than your thin panties to keep it inside of you. With a pout, you tell him so, voice absolutely ruined as you wheeze out, “I-I wish I had a-a plug, niichan, to hold all of your cum inside me,”
“Christ,” he breathes, eyes twinkling as he gazes down at you, brushing his slender fingers through your sweaty hair. “You’re gonna be the death of me, y’know that?”
❅ ❅ ❅
You don’t remember much of the drive home, struggling to keep your heavy eyelids from falling shut. Touya’s half dried cum is sticky—now practically gelatinous—in your panties and the mere thought of it makes you whimper, wiggling your hips a little, trying to shuffle closer to him.
It makes you feel needy. It makes him feel wanted.
“Niichan’s here, baby,” he’s murmuring into your hair as he readjusts his arm around your waist, pulling both your legs over his lap, your side still pressed firmly against his. “Niichan’s here,”
A pitiful whine slips from your lips, little fingers curling in his hoodie as warm hands travel up your dress, kneading the supple flesh of your thighs. Fingers press into the bruises he knows are there without even having to look, smirking at the way you hiss, contrasted by the way your thighs spread just a bit more, giving him more room to work, to play. The pads of his fingers graze the tiny raised cuts that the rough denim of his jeans left behind, tracing the raised little scabs.
“Sleep,” he tells you softly. “You did so good today, such a good little girl for me, my best girl,”
And his voice is the most soothing lullaby, smooth like melted platinum and quiet enough that only you can hear it, undoubtedly drowned out to the others by the staticky car radio.
❅ ❅ ❅
The dark bedroom is bleary, as if you were gazing at it though a thick slab of glass, eyes scanning the room slowly, mumbling out something that’s unintelligible even to yourself.
You’re not exactly sure how you got here, sitting on one of the twin beds in yours and Touya’s shared bedroom, propped up against the tiny headboard like a doll.
Touya’s murmuring to you softly as tender hands find the hem of your dress, tugging it up slowly, slowly, slowly, a low whine getting caught in your throat as your soft skin is exposed to the cool air, until he’s removed it from you completely. The clasp at the back of your bra snaps, and you want to tell him to be more gentle, this is your favourite bra, but you can’t seem to make your tongue move, the muscle sitting slimy and heavy in your mouth. Your vision disappears entirely for a second as something soft is slipped over your head, your body engulfed in the scent of hickory wood and Marlboro smoke.
Then large hands are all over you, maneuvering you onto your side then rolling you onto your back, gently prying your thighs open a moment later as he kneels between them, the springy mattress dipping with his weight.
“Touya-nii,” his name escapes your lips in a jumbled whine of protest.
“Shh, baby,” he hushes you, pulling your soiled panties down your legs.
Every muscle in your body aches, weighted down with fatigue from the long day, a few weak kicks—more of a fluttering of your legs, really—being all you’re able to manage in resistance.
“Hurts, niichan,” you whimper, through your eyelids are already falling shut again, exhaustion tugging at your consciousness gently.
“I know, princess,” he responds, and you’re just awake enough for the words to register, brow furrowing. His body heat disappears for a moment from between your thighs as he leans over to grab something, then returns, waves of comforting warmth rolling off of him.
Your body flinches ever so slightly as you feel something cold and smooth being spread across your swollen folds and puffy little hole. Cream, your mind supplies feebly.
“Niichan—”
“Quiet now,” he says, voice firmer than before. An order, this time. “Go to sleep, baby, and let niichan take care of this,”
Hot, tingling sparks blossom deep in the pit of your stomach, making your entire body buzz, like you’re high off him again, the sensation causing your chest to swell. This is what love feels like—Touya rubbing cool, soothing cream into your raw skin as he murmurs soft praises to you—you’re absolutely positive about it.
“I love you,”
The words leave your lips as a dreamy sigh, body finally relaxing against the mattress again.
He presses a tender kiss to your inner thigh, the soft skin a mosaic of crimson and violet from his previous ministrations. “I love you more,”
And that’s the last thing you feel, the last thing you hear as your mind slowly drifts into unconsciousness, filled with hazy images of a pretty boy with glowing sapphires for eyes and ivory for hair, of slim veiny hands decorated with the most magnificent black ink, the pads of their fingertips dancing along your skin, of a deep, sultry voice smoother than satin murmuring how much it loves you as lips crawl up your body—up your thighs, over your stomach and ribs, along the curve of you neck, until finally, they reach yours.

Tommy let out a shaky breath as he rubbed his eyes. Chat was going crazy at the new news and, to be honest, he couldn’t blame them. If he was in their position, he’d be freaking out alongside them. Wanting to end both the silence that filled the cavern and the nonsense Chat was saying, Tommy let out a hoarse laugh before speaking.
“Chat really likes you, G.”
A smile formed on the teen’s face as his head bounced with the hefty laugh that came from Grian, whose chest began to rumble alongside the laughter. Finally lifting his head off his brother’s chest, Tommy allowed the remaining tears in his eyes to fall as he looked to Grian’s face. Grian smiled fondly back at Tommy, wiping away the tears from his little brother’s eyes.
“I suppose I should say hello to all of them. Is Chat similar to Techno’s voices?”
Concern flashed across Grian’s face as Tommy flinched at the mention of Technoblade. It was small, and could have been easily overlooked if Grian wasn’t watching his brother like a hawk. He made a mental note to ask about that later that night, when they were around the campfire.
“Nah, he’s just insane. Psychotic or some shit like that. I’m just really fucking cool and can see spirits and shit.”
Eyebrows from the crowd (shit, they were still there, weren’t they?) and Grian were raised as someone Stress half heartedly scolded Tommy for his language. Tommy just rolled his eyes, knowing that they only scolded him as a joke. They had all grown accustomed to his wording, and were worried when he didn’t slip in a few curses into his sentences.
“Spirits?”
“Yeah, spirits. I call em Chat most of the time, but they have different nicknames, and they all have individual names. Clara explained that it was one of the many side effects to her marking me as a ‘Starchild’ in her name. They are the spirits of the lands, from servers all around, or some shit like that. I can see them all, but they make the choice to stick with me or not.”
This was...news. Grian, who was still processing that he his baby brother was alive, sitting right in front of him, as well as the fact that Clara was real, could only stare. He wasn’t so sure how to feel about his brother being indifferent to all the spirits, but he suppose that it couldn’t be helped. Spending pretty much your entire life seeing spirits would make him indifferent to the spirits as well.
“So, Chat is...everywhere?”
“Basically, yeah”
Grian hummed as he proceeded to greet Chat, being polite to the beings he couldn’t see. Much to the annoyance of Tommy, Chat seemed to be loving Grian even more. Maybe a bit too much.
“HE’S SO POLITE”
“How thoughtful of him”
“HELOO HI GRI A N HWAHT’S UP BRO”
“Grian bro supremacy”
“GRIAN BRO SUPREMACY”
“HERMIT HOMIE WOOOOOO”
“BEST BRO POG”
“holY SHIT I’M IN LOV E ADKNVOD”
“THE RACCOON HAS A POG BROTHER WOOO”
“HI GRIAN HI”
“Rodent brothers??? pog?????”
“HELLOHELLOHELLOHENSLO”
“TELL HIM WE SAID HI, CHILD”
“Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, calm down, calm down, calm down, calm down. Chat says hi, Grian. And, hey, I’m not a child, what the fuck!? I’m a big man!”
Impulse snickered as Mumbo walked over to the two brothers. Smiling down at them, he helped the two back to their feet. Grian smiled as he set a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it slightly. Tommy, in turn, beamed with pride at his brother and his friends.
“Alright, we spent enough time being emotional and shit. Let’s get going, I have more cool shit to show you guys.”
Laughter filled the cavern as Tommy fixed his hair, his booming man child I’m not a child voice being drowned out as he led them back outside. Slightly huffing. He let out a yelp as he was nearly tackled to the ground from behind. Letting out undignified noises of protest, he turned to see the smug smile of Grian, who was ruffling his hair.
“Alright, big man, show us your land of paradise!”
Barking out a hearty laugh, Tommy ducked out from his brother’s hand before grabbing it, spinning a few times, and pulling him forward.
“Aw, look at them!”
“Wait, so Grian has two sections now?”
------
The traditional booth games in Tavern Town were fun. From balloon darts to milk bottles, to ladder climb and hoop toss, Tommy thought of it all. Unique designs decorated each booth, all holding an individual and unique look. Everything about the area was impressive.
“Where did buy get these for the games? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in the main server.”
Tommy peered over to Doc, who was inspecting the prizes neatly strung up on all the booths. There were plushies of different types of mods, some familiar, others not. They came in all types of colors and sizes, and were overall impressive. Walking up beside Doc, Tommy just shrugged his shoulders, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck.
“I didn’t buy them, I made them.”
Scar perked up, before jumping right into the conversation.
“You what? Toms, that’s impressive! I didn’t know you could sew.”
‘Fucking hell,’ Tommy thought to himself. He didn’t expect to get praise for his simple hobbies.
“Yeah, I sew. I’m actually pretty crafty, being resourceful and shit. I also knit and crochet. It’s not much, but it’s really fucking therapeutic and all that jazz.”
Before anyone else could comment, a dinging noise sounded at one of the booths. Turning to look at the cause of the commotion, they saw that Stress and Impulse had won a game together. Giving each other fist bumps, they watched as a screen popped up, giving them prize options to choose from. After receiving their prizes, they hurried over to Tommy with smiles painted on their faces.
“You bet we’re gonna win one of each plush here.”
A high pitched laughter erupted from Tommy, who was starting to enjoy his decision to hand make all the prizes in his park. Wiping away a tear of joy, the teen I’m eighteen, I’m a fucking man! You’re a child, Tommy beamed at his friends, who smiled warmly in return. Tommy’s joy seemed to increase as more booth alarms were set off, many more prizes coming off the shelves. By the time everyone was ready for the next land, they all had at least two plush toys each.
———
“This is delicious! You baked these?!”
The group was currently sitting in the seating area in the Dream SMP section of the park, more specifically, L’manburg. They had gotten pastries from the duplicate bakery that belonged to Niki. According to Tommy, it was an exact replica to the real thing. The pastries sold there were the same ones Niki sold back at L’manburg. Tommy had used the recipes and techniques that Niki had demistrated to both him and Tubbo to create the dishes.
“If you think these are good, you should taste Niki’s. I swear, her pastries were sent down from Heaven by Jesus himself. They taste fucking amazing, godly.”
Grian smiled as he nudged Tommy’s shoulder with his own. Popping another sweet cake in his mouth, Tommy quirked an eyebrow as he faced the older boy.
“You should teach me some of your hobbies, Starchild. We can do a hobby exchange.”
Tommy visibly brightened up as he wiped some frosting from around his mouth. Smiling, he nodded his head happily.
“Hell yeah! That sounds fuckin’ amazing!”
The group ate with content as they looked around their area. They had already seen the rest of the Dream server lands.
“It’s amazing that you’ve made all of this by yourself. You haven’t even showed us the rest of the park yet! Good job, for a child.”
“Hey! I’m not a fucking child! I’m turning 19 soon!”
“Oh yeah, I forgot you were an Aries.”
“What’s wrong with being an Aries?”
“Nothing is wrong with being an Aries, Tango.”
“Oh shut it, you Librarian.”
“Librarian?”
“Yeah, the worst sign.”
“First of all, kid, I’m a Gemini.”
------
The rides and games in the DSMP were very diverse and unique. Tommy had really put a lot of effort and time into every attraction, no matter how small. From things as small as a scavenger hunt through the Badlands, water themed adventures in El Rapids, to fast paced coasters in L’manburg.
“Scoot over, bandit child, I’m sharing this ride vehicle with you.”
“What the fuck, man?”
“Oh, don’t act surprised. I know you made it to where two people share a seat just so you can spend quality time with your brother.”
“Oh, fuck off, I didn’t even know you were my brother until an hour and a half ago.”
“Whatever helps you sleep at night.”
The first ride the group decided to board was dubbed A Home. Entering a little shack, everyone boarded their ride vehicles and waited for the ride to begin. While they waited for the vehicles to move, Tommy explained how he managed to use the latest mods that were added to the server to his advantage. He managed to fit different tracks to different rides in the same builds, as well as add animatronics. Just as he was about to receive yet another wave of praise, the ride began.
“It’s like looking at a younger version of you!”
“That’s kinda the point, genius.”
Grian’s statement, as obvious as it was, was true. As the vehicles left the shack and entered the caravan, and animatronic Tommy, merely 16 years of age, welcomed the riders as they witnessed the beginning of a new home, L’manburg. They kept comments to themselves when they saw, yet again, the replica of Tommy’s old base. The ride track took them through different areas of the DSMP, following the young Tommy as he searched for a home.
“-the citizenship of Wilbur Soot and Tommyinnit!!!”
“What?!”
“What does he mean revoked?!”
Before Tommy could reply, the vehicles lurched backwards, keeping the vehicles facing the stage at all times as the animatronics turned to take aim at the riders. It wasn’t until the red stone to the dirt entrance revealed the entry way to Pogtopia that the vehicles did a 180, moving forward into the entry way before going down the spiral steps into the ravine. Laughter filled the air as the group saw animatronics of Tommy, Wilbur and Techno conversing together, joking around and teasing each other. Suddenly, the ride vehicles fell down to the next part of the track, the prime path. As they raced through the tunnel, they witnessed an animatronic Tommy and Tubbo embracing and conversing, their cheerful voices free from worry. The group could only sit in awe as the scenes continued to change.
“-goodbye, Tommy.”
“What does he mean goodbye?!”
“Oh my fucking god, shut up!”
The vehicles suddenly raced through the Nether, coming out to an island far from DSMP. The sign at the entrance of the area welcomed the group to Logstedshire. There, they could see an unhappy Tommy staring out towards the ocean, listening to Chirp as he mumbled nonsense to Clara. And just as quickly as they came, they raced out of the sunny area and into the snow. They raced around the inside of Techno’s cottage before racing outside, towards an empty area. There, an animatronic Tommy yelled out in shock as an animatronic Technoblade pressed a button, turning around as a secret lair was revealed.
“Welcome home, Theseus!”
For the final time, the scene changed. They entered, backwards, into a portal, coming out to face a replica of the spawn to Hermitcraft. There, in wonderous glory, stood an animatronic Xisuma, welcoming the group to Hermitcraft. Then, the track dropped, leaving the riders back at the entrance to the ride.
“Holy shit.”
“Haha! Holy shit is right!”
———
The group quickly learned that Tommy spared no expense in all his attractions. As they explored the different lands, they really saw the individuality of every land. L’manburg had fun rides, including Nation’s Legacy, Blood’s Ballad, Wither’s Wrath, and Creator’s Cabin. Nation’s Legacy is an underground ride that worked like a turntable to tell the history of L’manburg, ending on a grim and looming hint to the possible destruction of the nation. When asked about the fate of L’manburg, Tommy admitted that he appeared in Hermitcraft before he could witness the possible doomsday, so he wasn’t entirely sure what had occured afterwards.
Blood’s Ballad is an interactive ride that used a special red stone technique. The ride vehicles could seat up eight passengers at a time, each using special gloves that allow them to interact with the special ride elements. The goal is to get the most points out of everyone in the ride vehicle. The ride took the group on a journey with Technoblade, the Blood God. The group racked up points training alongside him, as well as fighting all sorts of mobs. By the end of the ride, Tommy was sulking as Stress managed to gather the most points. Stress was enjoying the victory, smiling happily as “SUBSCRIBE TO TECHNOBLADE” boomed through the speakers.
Wither’s Wrath was more of a small scale ride to enjoy. There were only three ride vehicles, each shaped like a wither and able to hold three riders. Each rider sat in a wither skull. Grian smiled as he pulled Mumbo and Tommy into a a wither vehicle with him. As they strapped in, they were transported to a virtual world where the rules of the game were shared. The goal was to cause the most destruction in the virtual world than the other vehicles. Each player controlled their own skull, making it easier to gather points. At least, that was the case for-
“Fuck yeah! Team Kickass all the way! Check it Grian, Mumbo, we’re badass!”
Creator’s Cabin was simple enough. It was just a large cabin that held enchanted portraits of everyone who resided in the DSMP. The portraits could move within their frames. They could also interact with each other. When the group walked in, the portraits were chatting away with each other. Sam’s portrait seemed to be listening in on the conversation that the portraits of Tubbo, Tommy and Purpled were having, occasionally joining in when he saw fit. Fundy was chatting away with Eret and Niki, a bright smile on his face. Ranboo was timidly peeking over at the group with Tommy and Tubbo, obviously wanting to join in. The portraits of Quackity, Sapnap and Karl were deep in conversation, while the portrait of George was asleep sitting up.
“Hey, Tommy?”
“Yeah?”
“Why are there two portraits of Wilbur?”
“Oh, right. Grian, about Wilbur-”
“AHOY THERE! WHY DON’CHA BOARD ME SHIP AND CONQUER THE WATERS WITH ME?”
The group, aside from Tommy, jumped at the booming voice. Without hesitation, they all ran out to the water, searching for the source of the voice. There, out on the water, stood a lone animatronic. It was the animatronic of a petite woman, one with red curls dancing around as she swayed and spoke. Once more, her confident, melodic voice filled the air.
“JOIN ME ON MY QUEST TO RIDE THE WONDROUS WAVES OF THE SEAS”
With that, she raised her right arm, hoisting a sword into the air. On cue, she began to rise as a ship emerged from the sea below her. Once it was no longer submerged, the ship rocked a few times before settling. A banner unraveled and blew in the breeze, the name of the area now visible for all to see.
Sally de Mon’s Sea Voyage
“You like it? Creating the entrance for this ride was a fucking bastard. Kept me up all night and crap. Almost gave up completely on it.”
“It’s amazing! I was not expecting to see something like that!
“Hey, Tommy? Who’s Sally. I don’t think it was ever explained how you know her?”
“Really? I gotta fix that, then. Sally is my sister-in-law who-”
“I HAVE A SISTER-IN-LAW?!”
“Oh, shit...surprise?”
------
The Badlands was a fun, interactive section of the DSMP area. The various puzzles and mazes made it fun for all the participants. The muffin stand was also a fan favorite to the hermits.
El Rapids was a water-filled adventure. Because he wanted to play around with the word rapids, Tommy made several water-based rides and activities, his favorite being the log ride. They just seemed to be the perfect addition to the area, adding a way to cool down to balance all the water-free rides. It seemed as if Tommy had thought of every type of ride for every type of biome and scenario.
SMP Earth was another large section of the park. It also held the only other largest ride in the entire park, one that led the riders throughout the Antarctic Empire, as well as its surrounding cities and towns. The area for the empire was beautiful decorated in colors of all kind. Flowers and banners decorated the buildings and streets, brightening up the area. Classic activities, such as the sparing rings and archery, as well as the axe throws and parkour courses were set up. It all felt familiar to Grian, who couldn’t help but smile at his brother. Grabbing one of the fliers, he inspected it before shooting his brother a look of uncertainty.
“You didn’t”
“On the contrary, brother dearest, I did!”
“Did what? What did he do?”
Grian laughed as he showed the group what the flier said. It was decorated in beautiful, hand-drawn flowers. Golden lettering perfectly spelt out the message.

Signed by his royal highness,
Prince Thomas Theseus Minecraft
“He used his full name and everything!”
“Your middle name is Theseus?”
“Your actual last name is Minecraft?”
“Did you actually write this? It’s worded and written so…formally.”
Huffing a bit, Tommy crossed his arms. Fixing his posture, he stood up, tall and proud, as he puffed out his chest. It took everyone every fiber in their bodies to not laugh at the sight of him.
“I can be very formal, thank you very much. I’m not a fucking idiot, I remember the formality lessons the teachers put me through. And I take the offense to that writing comment! Do you know how many attempts it took for me to be able to recreate the stupid fancy font used back at the empire? And another thing-”
Grian playfully hopped on Tommy’s shoulder, startling the younger brother to his usual stance. Ruffling his hair, he assured his brother with a laugh.
“Calm down, Toms. You know that we’re messing with you. You did amazingly. How many more flyers do you have? We’ll set them up in the Hub to be distributed across the main server. It’s been a while since I’ve attended a royal ball, so let’s make it grand!”
Laughing, Tommy had no choice but to agree with Grian. His smile faltered, however, once realization sunk in. The next activity for the group was the campfire. The secrets of his time at the Dream SMP that he kept for over 2 years would finally be revealed.
‘Better late than never to prepare the waterworks’, thought a very nervous Tommy.

Forgive and forget what happened in another time (Platonic)
Requested Imagine: After the incident with the Doctor, Daisy and Jemma see how much it hurt you and do what they can to help, but there is only one person who can really help. Fitz
Leopold Fitz, that name used to make you feel safe, happy, protected. A name of a brother figure, of a best friend.
Now, it was a name of danger, of hurt, of caution; of someone who once meant the world to you, but now a complicated thing. That was the what the name brought now.
Your hand went to the wound he had caused you, a bullet wound; the scar being patched up by Jemma, who had been doing all she could for you.
“Knock knock.” You heard Daisy said a your door swished open, there was no knock that was a lie, only the words and swoosh of the door to alert you of her presence in your room.
You quickly put the shirt down, covering the scar, but you saw her eye go to where it would be on your front (your back was to her, you had turned your head to look at you, even then you only saw her from the corner of your eye) and her smile was sympathetic.
She had her scar too, running her hand along the back of her neck.
“Hey.” You greeted, trying to sound like you both thinking about the same thing.
“Hey.” She parroted back, trying to do the same thing.
You cleared your throat, fully turning to your friend and crossing your arms, “So, what’s up?” You asked.
She suddenly remembered why she was here, “We’re gonna be landing soon, gonna need you there with me.” She said, giving you a smile, one you mirrored.
She hated this, seeing her sibling in pain like this; she hated that your brother figure hurt you both.
You had found where his ship was after interrogating one of the crew, all you had to do was get to it.
As you walked, with Daisy leading, Jemma grabbed you by the arm and held you back, “Y/N, if this is it, then --”
“Now’s not the time.” You said, trying to get her to release you so you could just end this journey.
“When is the time?” She pressed; you looked at her in the eyes, this journey had made her go to dark places, but she was still the caring soul you met all that time ago.
“Not now,” You said, removing the hand, “Besides, if it is him...then he’ll be with you, and Daisy can do the talking for me.”
You entered the part of the ship you needed through the ceiling, with Jemma leading the way. You found the pod, and you waited with baited breath. She looked to you and Daisy, two of her best friends in the whole world who had followed her out here for this one moment.
Her face dropped when she opened it...nothing was there, only some blood.
She stayed in the pod for a bit, breaking down. You, meanwhile, sat in the commons room, alone, and you allowed yourself to admit it.
You were happy that he wasn’t.
And part of you hated yourself for it.
“Y/N,” Jemma called out to you, you looked up to her, “I need you for something.”
That was a bit of a stretch, it was more of a team meeting, and something she had spotted on the pod, writing.
In a language she knew apparently.
You and Daisy were trying to keep the rest of you guys in check, and at the same time get Simmons to see that you would not survive this trip.
She, however, saw it differently.
She, however, pulled the lever and sent you deeper into space, chasing after a translation.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jemma knew, she knew that you were pissed by that option; and as much as she defended it, she saw the toll all this was taking on you.
But, this was her husband, she wasn’t going to just leave him stranded, even if the chance of finding him was small.
“Y/N --” She said, having a moment alone with you before they went to the city of Kitson, a place apparently only the worst people would go.
“Don’t.” You were firm with your words, and she could detect the bite.
“Y/N, please --” Again, she couldn’t finish.
“You had no right!”
“I have to find him, Y/N. You would do the same if it was Daisy, me, or anyone else.” She couldn’t stop the words, her goal of finding her husband stopping her from seeing the consequences of her words.
Those consequences came when your eyes widened, almost at the audacity of the words said, before you let out a humourless chuckle, “‘Anyone else’ hasn’t shot me while I’ve tried to free my sister from his split. I get it, not fully in his control, his trauma too, but what about mine, Jemma? You expect me to just move on from it? Sure, Daisy’s done better, but --”
“You don’t need to compare yourself to her, Y/N. You’re making your own progress, I promise…” She was torn, and you could tell.
“Whatever, let’s just go, ok?” She could tell things were a bit icey between you both, but she knew that you both still cared for each other, even during this time.
You went to Kitson, yourself and the two girls getting high as a kite in your search, “Co-come on, Y/N...We need to find our british friend.” Daisy said, holding onto your hand and bringing you through the crowds. You had no idea where Jemma had gone, part of your brain wondering if she was real…
If what Fitz had done was real.
She was, as you found out, being brought onto the floor in a crawl as you went under the table to find some solace from the people.
You observed the surroundings, eyes wide as you blinked a few times, but you swore you saw a man in a suit, a beard and an emotionless expression on his face staring at you a few times in the crowd, but each time you just shook your head and he was gone.
A blaring ‘dolphin’ noise brought the three of you out, it was a signal. But Chronicoms were on your tail, so you both looked to Jemma, assuring her that - despite your states - you could handle them. Jemma looked to you and smiled, glad you still had her back.
She went, and you and your sister got to work, Daisy spinning on the table and you throwing glasses at the trained opponents. It was funny, how you both almost reverted to how you were before all this - you throwing glasses in a bar fight - and her distracting herself during a conflict and having fun with it.
With that cleared up, Jemma had news for you.
“He’s alive.” She told you, and she knew where to go.
Your search led you to a Chromicom ship, or rather the ship. But, you saw him for the first time --
Not the doctor who had hurt you and your sister --
Not the man who had a split and lost for a moment to his demons --
But your best friend, your brother. Jemma’s husband --
Leopold Fitz.
Daisy was all but ready to make do on her threat of Fitz being hurt again, she’d tear the ship apart. She knew this wasn’t the Fitz that had hurt her, had hurt you.
You were willing to do a lot of things to get him back, but forgiving him would be another thing.
You had tried a runner, only for you to find yourself surrounded; you and Daisy were more than ready to fight --
But Jemma stopped you; you couldn’t quite focus on her words, your heart racing as you saw the tears in Daisy’s and Jemma’s eyes.
This was a goodbye between you three siblings.
Jemma then looked to you, shaky smile on her lips, “Y/N --” She wanted to say something, anything to help make this better. But she couldn’t think of anything.
Her youngest sibling was hurting, just as much as her other younger sister.
You brought her into a hug, one she returned, no other words were spoken; you both just hugged.
Then she was gone, and you were going home with a member gone, maybe forever.
As you went home, Daisy found you in your room, she sat next to you, not saying anything but she knew her presence would help.
Hell, it had helped her, she knew how you both worked. You were her best friend since birth, brought up together in the orphanage. Now, you were more hurt than you were before.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Still, you went back to earth, the ever present image of Jemma Simmon walking away, to whatever her fate held, was etched into your mind.
You felt Daisy’s gaze on you every so often as you got closer to home. Still, no words were spoken, just the gaze of, not concern, just care. Was she worried? Yeah, but she knew displaying that to you would only make you go further into your hole you had dug for yourself.
Still, you disembarked and found yourself now in a new situation, a new trauma; Phil Coulson had returned...sort of.
It was him in the physical form, just not the...mental form? Still, it threw yourself and Daisy, just how seeing Fitz (the older version you cared for dearly) threw you earlier.
You and Daisy walked away, trying to ignore what you had just seen. It didn’t, however, work that way.
You instead ended up on the man’s (Sarge) truck, going to stop someone known as Izel, you didn’t care who she was, just that she was a threat to your family.
So, on board you went.
He pulled you up to the front, Daisy giving you a pat on the shoulder for encouragement as you went; you gave her a smile before entering.
“So, smiley tells me you went off to space.” He said, wasting no time it seemed.
You nodded, “Had a little trip, sure.”
“What for?”
“It wasn’t for you, if that’s what you’re getting at.”
He scoffed, “Trust me, I might have an ego, but not that high of one. What were you really looking for?”
“Why do you wanna know?”
“Snow’s...difficult, but I’ve known her long enough to know when she needs to talk.”
“You offering me a shoulder?”
“A cold one. But you seem to be more open than your sister. All she wanted to talk about was me.”
“She’s always been inquisitive.”
“And you're sensitive.”
“Was.”
“Sounds like there’s a story there.” Wow, he was not stopping.
“I will when you do.” He smirked.
And he did, just to spite you it seemed; he opened up about Izel and his past; how his planet was destroyed and how revenge and hate drove him.
He lied at one point, saying it was love, but he quickly said it was the hate that drove him instead.
Love drove you, you knew that, but also fear. Fear of who Fitz would be.
Sarge looked at you, eyes almost daring you to open up; Daisy caught the look, quickly brining the attention back to her and away from you. She hated it, the look in his eyes, the amusement he got from causing you that discomfort.
Then he was gone, he was out and you were barreling for a tower filled with Shrike (little bat things) that would infect everyone.
Sarge was gone, and you were going to slam into the tower with a nuke.
Deke did what he could to try and defuse it, but was unsuccessful.
Daisy looked to you, seeing you only staring at the bomb that would now surely take your life; you looked devastated. Her eyes softened as she took one of your hands in her own, she gave it a squeeze, a silent “I love you.”
Then it all went black…
Only, you woke up. You woke up to Daisy over the bomb with her powers making it go back into the bomb.
She took care of the shrike too, vaporizing them as they entered.
Then...then he entered. Leopold Fitz…
It was different seeing him in person, actually seeing him.
Deke had hugged him.
Daisy smiled, as did May.
You did, a small amount; he looked like his innocent self, not the beared man who had hurt him.
But he was still there...always there deep down.
You had a party, and he smiled at you; you lifted your bottle up, but your smile wasn’t as full as it used to be.
You left early.
Then you were forced to work together, looking into what made Sarge...well, Sarge, as Daisy spoke to him.
She let it all out, the vitreal, the anger at this situation. Fitz chanced a look to you, seeing how you kept your distance, didn’t look at him.
“Y/N...are you ok?” He asked; Jemma even paused what she was doing to look over at you in concern.
You gulped, just hearing his voice made you go back mentally, “...Yeah, fine.” You said, trying to hang tough.
His hand hit your shoulder, and you flinched away, slapping the hand away. He ignored the pain, he just kept his hands up and took a step back.
“...I can’t do this, I’m sorry.” You said, walking away, ignoring Jemma saying your name softly as you left.
You went back to your retreat. You felt the place shake, but you just hid yourself more. You couldn’t do this, your hand went to your wound as you felt the burning from it when you were shot. You heard the broken of “NO!” From both Daisy and Jemma. You --
You felt a hand on your shoulder, a soft one and yet you still cried out at it. The hand stayed, however, and you felt yourself be pulled into a hug.
“I got you, Y/N...I got you.” It was Daisy, and you felt her tears hit you on the top of your head as you sobbed.
You stayed like that for a bit, with you just sobbing into her as you took yourself back to what would have been your death had...had Jemma not acted so quickly.
Jemma, the woman who had been by your side this whole time, along with Daisy of course. But Jemma never forced you into anything about the topic, she respected your boundaries.
“Is...is he?” You started to ask before you hiccuped.
“He wanted to wait...but he understands if you don’t --”
“No, no I wanna see him...It...I can’t just ignore him forever.” You said, Daisy still holding you close.
“Ok...ok.” She said, kissing you on your head before helping you up and bring you to the door.
She opened it, and you smiled at your brother. Not the doctor. But Leopold Fitz, the man who hadn’t lost to his demons.
And he smiled back softly.

Daisy gave you a hug before departing on her mission, and that left you with Fitzsimmons. Jemma stood on one side, Fitz on the other.
You stood as a united trio as you watched the mission occur.
“Y/N, I...I’m sorry.” You let him finish this time.
This time, you also looked at him, “It -- it wasn’t you.”
“...I know. But, I still did it.” He said, not wanting to let himself of the hook.
You nodded sadly, “We fixed the timeline...We saved you, we’re all back together now...I’m sure we’ll get there with us, anyway.”
He smiled, he knew you would, and he hoped dearly that he would.
Jemma smiled, glad you were starting to heal.
Now though, without knowing, it would be a while before you would see your friends again fully...

And here are ThunderClan’s senior warriors!
Read more about these guys here!
Graystorm has existed, or at the very least had a role in the story from the very begining. He used to be a different character that belonged to a friend I had on deviantart. I believe the character’s name was Graywing? He got redesigned and revamped into Graystorm (I had to keep the Gray prefix just because I couldn’t imagine his character without it). He’s now a much older character and is currently ThunderClan’s oldest working warrior (technically the oldest is his mate Nightsong, but she’s in the nursery right now). He’s the dad to Ridgefang (the clan deputy) alongside Spiderfang and Vixenleap.
Stormrush is Graystorm’s lighthearted and humorous brother, but he used to not be Graystorm’s brother at all. He was at one point going to be an orange cat named Leafstorm and he was going to be Nightsong’s mate at one point. There’s not a whole lot of similarities between Stormrush and his past life as Leafstorm, aside from their names both having storm in them lol. He’s Palefur’s mate and is the dad to younger warriors, Cinderwing and Appleheart.
Palefur is a character that hasn’t existed for as long as some other characters have. She was added to the ThunderClan cast in order to give them more warriors and to give some other characters parents. At one point she was mates with a unnamed ThunderClan warrior (that’ll probably never be elaborated on lol sorry) and the two had Shallowstream together but ended up seperating. Years later, she got with Stormrush and the two had Cinderwing and Appleheart.
Coppershine, like Graystorm has existed since the very beginning, a small spoiler but when Sunny and Blossom are going to be made ThunderClan apprentices she’s gonna be Sunny’s mentor! That’s how it’s always been in the story and I refuse to make Sunny’s mentor literally anyone else.
There’s not a whole lot to talk about with Leapordbreeze as I haven’t planned her character out super well and she won’t be all that important until the later acts of the story so you’ll just have to see how things play out for her later on! From what I have planned out, she’s essentially the Thornclaw of The Fight Begins, meaning she’s the “patrol gal”
I mentioned this before with Sprucethorn’s old character bio I made here, but he is ThunderClan’s local dad. He just wants to be everyone’s dad and to help them out with their problems. Sprucethorn has only existed for a short period of time compared to the other characters but I love him lol. He’s mates with Robinflower and is the father to Brindlewing, Mistlefang, Specklepaw, and Blackpaw
Robinflower is Sprucefang’s mate and the mother to Brindlewing, Mistlefang, Specklepaw and Blackpaw. I’m still planning out her character so there’s not as much I can say here for her. She was created alongside Sprucethorn because the clan needed more characters and Blackpaw and Specklepaw had no parents lol.
Spiderfang is the clan jerk lol. He’s a total asshole, but he’s not neccesarily a bad person (cat??). He’s very moody and has a reputation of starting fights with cats from other clans on border patrols and at gatherings. He also as a history of trying to fight off foxes and badgers, which is the reasoning for most of his scars.
Vixenleap was added, and removed, then readded, and then removed, and then readded so many times but she’s here to stay! She’s Spiderfang and Ridgefang’s sister and she’s suspected to possibly be made deputy of her clan someday due to how responsible she is. She’s frequently on patrol and has become buddies with Leapordbreeze because of this.

19. Sam Winchester - Hospital Visit
It was extra busy today at the hospital, there were three patients in need of major surgeries along with a line of people either waiting at the clinic or waiting for their minor surgeries to take place. I had been running around all morning wherever I was needed, and since I was the lead surgeon that was pretty much everywhere. Every time I got the chance, I glanced up at the ticking clock that was mute amongst all the loud chatting and alarms going off. I needed to hang on til three, and then another head surgeon would be here to help. I wiped the forming beads of sweat off of my forehead as I headed to the bathroom, wanting to escape from all the chaos that was hitting. Of course I loved being a doctor but I wasn’t made for such large groupings like this. It sent anxiety through my body causing me to sweat. So I just needed a small break to calm my nerves.
Pressing my back against the cool wall felt almost painful against my hot, sweaty skin. I was just praying silently that I was wearing my doctor’s coat over a turtleneck sweater, stopping most of the chilling pain. Finally catching my breath after fifteen minutes, I pushed myself off of the wall, the cold no longer bothering me, and headed back into the jungle that awaited outside. Not much time passed before my Nurse, Lacy, ran up to me.
“Doctor,” she said, her voice frantic and filled with worry, “come quick, there’s two new patients in need of medical treatment.”
Nodding curtly, I followed after her quickly to wherever the patients were. There weren’t many rooms open, so when we did eventually find them, they were in the last two rooms. I went inside the first room, the room that was closer to us, and peered inside at the man lying on the hospital bed. My eyes widened at the sight of John Winchester, an old family friend from way back then. He was covered in slash marks, fresh blood that still needed to be cleaned off of his unconscious body. He was also covered in sweat, glass, and dirt.
Lacy looked up at me.
“Bring me a rag,” I muttered, “and some warm, soapy water.”
Nodding, she turned on her heel and walked out of the room. I took another glance at John Winchester then headed out of the room, silently praying that the other person in the second room wasn’t one of his sons.
But I wasn’t lucky. Lying in the next hospital bed was his older son, Dean. I frowned, my forehead creasing slightly. Like his father, Dean was covered in blood, sweat, glass, and dirt. He would need to be cleaned up as well.
“Doctor.”
Looking up, I spotted my nurse standing at the door with the bucket of water and a rag hanging over it.
“Thank you. Please, get another one for this patient.”
“Of course.”
I took the bowl from Lacy and headed back into the room where John was waiting. Sitting beside his bed was Sam, also covered in blood but not as much as his dad and brother. His eyes met mine, widening as he saw my face.
“Noel?” He questioned, his voice soft and surprised.
“Hey Sam,” I replied, placing the bowl down.
His eyes shifted to the ground. The last time I saw the Winchester’s was when I was twelve years old. I was a year younger than Sam. Out of the two Winchester boys, Sam and I had become close. I knew all about their hunting and everything they did.
“You gonna tell me what happened?” I asked, grabbing the cloth and beginning to clean John up.
The blood wiped away easily, revealing his tanned up, scarred skin.
“I’m not so sure that’s a great idea,” he admitted.
“Maybe not, but I still think you should tell me.”
He was quiet for a moment, contemplating inside his head whether telling me would put me in danger. It probably would but I could handle myself. Finally, he told me what happened. They had gotten into a fight with a demon, one who called herself Meg, and these shadow things came out of nowhere attacking them. They were practically defenseless, their only saving grace was light. That’s how they were able to escape, along with throwing Meg out a tall window. By the time he finished telling me what happened, I had finished cleaning his dad up.
Placing the cloth inside the now bloody water, I faced Sam.
“Is she dead?” I inquired.
“We think so,” he huffed, his hair shifting with the breeze escaping his lips, “but we’ve never dealt with a demon before so we’re unsure.”
Nodding quietly, I started stitching up the large gashes displayed on John’s body. Lacy was right, he did need quick medical attention but not so much that he needed to be placed in the operating room. Not while there were people who needed surgeries on their brains waiting, or even their stomach. This was an easy fix.
I could feel Sam’s eyes watching me while I sutured up his dad. Clipping the final set of stitches, I got rid of all the leftovers, then washed my hands.
“I’m going to Dean’s room,” I muttered, “he needs more care than your father, so I’ll need more time to deal with him. Wait here.”
Sam didn’t argue, he just nodded his head.
Taking care of Dean’s injuries were much harder than I had realized. He was losing lots of blood, and no matter how much of it I tried to wipe away, there would always be another rush of it pouring from the wound. So I had to deal with the large, several gashes that covered his body. Fixing him up took me almost three hours. When I was finished with him, it didn’t seem to matter, he was in a coma from the amount of blood he lost. I wasn’t sure he was going to make it and that was going to be hard to tell Sam and John.
Lacy informed me that John Winchester was now awake, so now I was heading to his room to give them the bad news. Some doctors would call it semi-bad news but that didn’t really make any sense to me considering. I walked into John’s room, seeing him speaking to Sam, neither of them looking happy about whatever was being discussed. Sam was first to spot me.
“Dad,” he said.
John turned to face me, and at first I wasn’t sure he’d recognize me but when his eyes widened, I knew he did.
“Noel,” he said, “it’s been a long time.”
“It sure has,” I replied, smiling, “it seems you guys got yourself into a pickle.”
“Seems that way.”
I walked completely inside the room, my hands folded together.
“How’s Dean doing?” Sam inquired.
My heart felt like it was hammering against my chest but I tried to remain professional.
“I’ve stitched him up, and cleaned up his body. However, he’s lost a lot of blood and is now in a coma,” I informed, sadness lurking in my voice, “right now, it isn’t looking so good. If he doesn’t pull through soon, then I would start preparing for the worst.”
“Noel,” Sam said standing up, “he has to come back.”
“There isn’t anymore that I can do, Sam. Had he’d been brought in earlier, maybe, but he’s lost way too much blood. We’re replacing it, he’s getting round the clock treatment and blood is being added to his body through an IV, but that’s all we’re able to do.”
He looked away from me, his eyes noticeably filling with tears, then grabbed his jacket and walked out of the room. A soft breeze brushing against me as he passed me. John didn’t say anything to Sam as he left. I sighed and walked over to John, removing a small flashlight from my pocket.
“Let me have a look at your pupils,” I muttered, “how are you feeling?”
The bright light danced across his now dilated pupils.
“Much better,” he replied.
It was quiet for a moment before John spoke again, asking about Dean.
“He was in really bad shape, huh?” He asked.
“Yes,” I muttered, removing the light from his eyes, “I wish there could be more done but right now, all we can do is wait and see.”
John’s eyes looked away from me, staring down at his covered legs. I could tell he was feeling bad about what he did to Sam and Dean, specifically Dean since he was in a coma now. I stuffed the flashlight into my doctor coat, taking another look at the oldest Winchester. All three of these boys were tough as nails but everything seemed to be shattering right before their very own eyes.
“I know this is hard, Mr. Winchester,” I replied, “but I promise you, I’ll do what I can to help Dean get better. For now, it’s best if you pray for his healing.”
He didn’t say anything, didn’t even nod. Something seemed to be brewing around in his head, so I left after giving his shoulder a small squeeze. After leaving John’s room, I went to go look for Sam, taking a final look at Dean in his room. A small pang in my chest rippled through me before I headed off to find the youngest Winchester.
I found him sitting outside on the hospital steps. The breeze was starting to pick up, ruffling Sam’s hair along with my own. I walked over to him, my white shoes slapping quietly against the concrete. Sitting down next to Sam, I watched him look over at me. I folded my arms around my stomach and looked away, watching the hundreds of people walking around. Either lost in their own world or talking with someone who was with them. I didn’t want to say anything that would anger him or cause him to get up and leave.
“It’s all my fault,” Sam whispered.
My head snapped towards him, shocked completely at his sudden admission to guilt.
“How so?” I inquired.
“If I hadn’t gotten mad at Dean, if I hadn’t ran into Meg, then we would have never been tricked into this situation.”
I clicked my tongue, shaking my head. My long, jet black hair waved in the wind.
“Sam, you couldn’t possibly know that Meg was a demon. Like you said before, you guys have never dealt with one before so how are you supposed to know the difference between one of them and a girl. I mean look around you.”
Our eyes scanned the area around us, watching the people who caught our eyes do what was normal: eating ice cream, talking, laughing, walking, etc.
“Anyone here could be a demon but how could we know?”
A soft sigh escaped from his lips.
“All I’m saying is, there’s no need for you to worry too much. Dean is a fighter, I’m sure he’ll pull through. However, if he isn’t, then you can’t walk around blaming yourself. It’s not what your dad would want and it’s definitely not what Dean would want.”
I touched his shoulder and smiled sweetly at him. Sam smiled back before nodding.
“You’re right,” he said.
“Of course I am. I’ve never been wrong.”
A laugh left his mouth, colliding with the wind that was picking up more and more. I couldn’t help but giggle along with him. Soon Sam and I were discussing how life had been after we departed so long ago. I learned that Sam had previously gotten out of the whole family business, hunting things to attend college at Stanford to become a lawyer. He had only joined back up with his family because his girlfriend, Jessica, was killed by the same demon that killed his mom. Yellow eyes. It had its ups and down, constantly worrying about one another and the consistent fighting back and forth. Dean was ultimately too childish and took any opportunity to pull a silly prank on Sam. But, according to him, it wasn’t all too bad since he missed his brother a lot. And now that he and his dad were together again, he remembered that he loved him too while disagreeing with him like he had when he was younger.
Once he was finished catching me up on how his life had been going, I told him about mine. How my mother passed away a year after they had left, inspiring me to go to medical school. I had also been engaged for a little while before finding out that my fiancé was cheating on me behind my back. The rest of my life wasn’t much to gossip about, considering most of it was just me going to school and being cheating on.
“Despite everything though,” I replied, “I enjoy what I do and hope that I’m making a big difference every single day.”
I ran my fingers through my hair, feeling my pager buzz beside my hip. Pulling it from beside me, I saw that Lacy was paging me, letting me know that another lead surgeon had arrived and that I could go for lunch. Standing up, I held out my hand to Sam.
“Wanna get some coffee with me?” I inquired, “It’ll help clear your thoughts. Maybe you can figure out a way to help Dean behind bringing him to the doctor.”
I hoped that he caught on to what I had to say. By the smile that appeared on his face, I knew that he did. Taking a hold of my hand, I pulled him to his feet and headed across the street to the small coffee shop where I normally went when I was able to have a small break. On the way over, the two of us talked with one another and laughed at stories about each other's life. It was nice to reconnect with a friend from so long ago. Sam and I had always been close to one another when we were young. And on the way to the coffee shop, I hoped that this wouldn’t be the last time I saw Sam. And hopefully under much better circumstances than the one that brought us together today.

If Show Kai appeared in the Movieverse he would 100000% adopt the ninja and throw hands with anyone who even looks at Lloyd wrong. But also, the movie ninja realize his lack of childhood and try to give Kai the best teen hood they can
OKAY, EXCUSE ME, I DON’T THINK YOU UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH I LOVE THIS CONCEPT SKLDMAWOIEJKLSDFMAWEFIASF THIS IDEA IS CONSUMING FASTER THAN FLAMES EATING UP BONE DRY TREE BARK--
This got stupidly (amazingly >:P) long so I’ma just throw it under the cut slim;ASLIDFMAWEF
AU where Kai gets sucked through a portal (realm crystal probably) and dropped into the movie-verse and he runs into the ninja who were sent to investigate the anomaly, and he’s just: “What’s with these sassy lost children?” and immediately adopts them all, his big bro instincts turning up to eleven the moment Lloyd starts talking.
Is it weird that they’re technically alternate versions of him and his family? Pfft, he’s seen weirder, it’s certainly not gonna let that stop him from looking after them.
Kai’s the kind of character who’s like, the most reckless chaotic guy in the world when he has no responsibilities, he just yeets the brain cell and goes feral, but when he’s got younger siblings to look after he’s immediately the only one with a braincell and goes full big bro/dad mode so he can look after everybody, though he’s mellowed out a bit since the pilot episodes, so he can be chaotically him while still being marginally responsible and looking after people. So he kinda turns into the... cool older brother who will break into amusement parks after dark with you, but also insist on the buddy system while there slkdfmaweof
He doesn’t have the realm crystal with him, (due to some reason I don’t need to think up (yet) because I’m just here for the character dynamics,) so he’s kinda stuck there until his team comes to pick him up. The Movieverse ninja take him to Wu at his request so they can figure things out.
Kai: Do you guys have a Wu? He’s probably crazy enough in any realm to know what to do
Movie!Nya: We got a Wu
Kai: FANTASTIC, LETS GO SEE THE CRAZY OLD BAT--
Wu does indeed know a little of what’s going on, but also knows there’s no way to get him home unless the others on the other side come for him, but he says he’ll start looking for a way back for him anyways, cause there are bound to be portals somewhere somehow. In the meantime Kai needs somewhere to stay and so he ends up in Lloyd and Koko’s apartment with a sleeping bag and feeling a little out of his element, but he’s nothing if not adaptable after the life he’s lived, so he just takes it in stride and gets ready to hunker down until his family comes to get him.
(I have no idea when this is set, whether before or during or after the movie, probably after actually, but I dunno skdmfawoeifmd)
Anyway, so Lloyd asks him a ton of questions and Koko just… accepts the whole situation (she’s seen weirder, she literally married a part-oni warlord, an alternate version of one of her son’s friends isn’t that far fetched) and is perfectly alright with Kai staying with them.
Say this is after the movie, Garmadon still lives in his volcano but he’s invited over for dinner on weekends so Lloyd can see him (he’s still a bit of a ways away from moving in with them and “we’re not going to live in a volcano Garm, it’ll damage our lungs--”) which is hilarious because in the drama of Kai showing up they kinda forget about it and he shows up to the apartment and he and Kai stare at each other for a second, Garmadon with a wrapped plate of dessert and Kai with a forkful of instant noodles he’d made earlier half-way to his mouth until Lloyd goes to hug his dad hello.
Movie!Garmadon: Lloyd, did your brown banana haired friend go on a long life-changing field trip that gave him a better haircut, darker tan, two extra feet of height, and a scar?
Kai: Hey, who you calling banana hair ya charred potato
Movie!Garmadon: …
Movie!Garmadon: *busts out in full evil cackle* I LIKE HIM!
Anyway, yeah, so that’s fine. They explain the situation and Garmadon just nods along like he’s heard it all before (he most certainly has not) and Kai finishes his noodles.
Alright, so, remember when I mentioned Kai being adaptable? Yeah, well… he’s not that adaptable. He’s used to having something to… fight. To push his weight against and attack so that he can fight his way to get what he wants or save people, and now… there’s nothing to fight against or put his energy into, he just has to wait and it’s driving him absolutely insane. He spends a lot of time with Wu at the warehouse discussing his options, and he’s a little weirder than their Wu, but not in a bad way, just in a… slightly more eccentric, but in a well-meaning, gremlin old man kind of way, and he at least lets him feel like he’s doing something.
Lloyd notices pretty quick, he’s rather observant in any realm/reality/dimension and so he gets his friends together and they agree to drag Kai out of the warehouse and show him around the city after school--which Kai isn’t too sure about at first, but, heck, it’s something to do alright, might as well-- (and it does give him a chance to check up on the group he’s subconsciously adopted) so off they go!
Kai’s still restless most of the evening, and they ask him about it and Kai confesses that he’s not used to just… chillin, especially when there’s something that’s happening elsewhere, which leads to a whole lot of other questions about his realm. Kai’s hesitant to answer at first, until he remembers that it isn’t an alternate timeline or whatever so he won’t mess anything up by telling them stuff and promptly spends the rest of the evening telling them every cool thing he’s ever done.
He also… inadvertently takes over as leader a little bit? Only kind of though. It’s more of just follow the cool guy and maybe the cool will rub off or he’ll acknowledge us kind of lead tho skdfmawoef He’s the oldest, and also the better fighter, and they all just think he’s really cool, so they kinda follow him around with stars in their eyes, like lost puppies, including Lloyd, who’s never really had someone who’s older than him, but also close to his age, while sharing a lot of experiences, and for real, Kai’s really freaking cool, so like, I’d be following him around too LOL. But Lloyd’s really funny because he goes from kinda… cool distant leader to stumbling around after him and asking him excitedly if he can show him that cool move back there--slkdmfaoKLDASFMAOWF
Kai just thinks it’s kinda funny and doesn’t actually realize it’s distracting him from his restlessness, but it does lol. He’s 100% okay with teaching them how to fight a little better, and how to harness their elemental powers too. He’s got all kinds of tips that he and his fam have learned over the years that he’s happy to share. Movie!Kai is easier to teach cause he knows himself pretty well, even if he’s an energetic ADHD crazy person who has no volume control whatsoever in this universe skfawoefmasdf
Movie!Kai: *stims*
Kai: Freaking excellent, you funky gremlin. You’re doing perfect, keep it up
Even though they're from another realm/reality/universe(or whatever skldmfaw) They’re very much still versions of him and his family, and he gets bonding moments with all of them where he encourages them to be themselves and to grow and become more confident. There’s a really fluffy moment between him and Movie!Jay because he’s really shy and stammery and Kai just smiles at him really fondly and tells him he’s really smart and ;A; Yeah. lsakmdfawoiefsdf Everybody gets a moment with Big Bro Kai encouraging them and learning something from him (and maybe him from them too) and it’s all verY FLUFFY *sobs*
Kai actually ends up telling them a lot of stuff that he’s never told his own family, things he’s thought, but never actually voiced, and they could all use a little praise so he never fails to let them know just how cool they are in their own ways, cause he can.
You know what, let’s just go through them all.
He encourages Jay to be smart and make things and be confident with what he has to say, because what he says is worth hearing; He tells Zane that he doesn’t need to pretend to be normal, and that he can just be himself and that’s his normal and that’s what matters; He lets Nya know she’s cool, and that no matter where she’s at or what she’s capable of she is important and her worth and importance to him isn’t based on what she can do; He makes sure Cole knows that he’s doing enough and that it’s okay to talk about it when he’s having a hard time, that the others would listen and support him and they cared; (OH THE GOODBYE IS GONNA HURT SO MUCH) he lets himself know that it’s okay that he cares as much as he does, and that he’s gotta be okay with letting people go sometimes, but that they’d always care about him and come back; and he talks to Lloyd a lot cause they’re living in the same space, so they spend a lot of evening’s on the couch or on the floor talking or playing video games. He tells him he’s doing good with the whole leading thing and that powers or no he’s just as important and that the others care about him a whole freaking lot. Lloyd tells him a bit about the bullying and Kai offers to throw hands, which makes Lloyd laugh and politely decline cause he’s a good person like that. (Maybe Kai sets off the fire alarms in the school and gets everybody drenched while the ninja are out running an errand for Wu.)
ANYWAY. Bonding hours with Big Bro Kai is just… T-T Yes, thank you very much.
Kai really likes Koko. She’s just… very much the mom Lloyd deserves and she’s just hecking cool and one of the kindest people Kai’s ever met, so after a while he starts to go out of his way to like… clean the house while she’s gone instead of spending all his free time at the warehouse with Wu slkdfmawoisadf And makes food! He’s actually a pretty good cook since he did a lot of the cooking while Nya was too little, and even if there are some things he does not recognize in the fridge, a lot of it is the same concept so he makes them food.
Koko’s pretty much already adopted Kai at this point, and can tell he’s got a lot of trauma cause he’ll jump at things and play it off, or she’ll find him awake at really late hours with singed clothing, and he’ll get a distant look in his eye whenever someone mentions a specific thing before snapping back to the present and making some excuse. Maybe she totally pulls him aside one evening to talk about it and Kai gets a hug that smells like the cookies they’d just been baking, and a bunch of unfamiliar things, but the most at home he’s felt in a long time. He certainly doesn’t cry over that HA (yeah he cries a little.) It’s very much a mom hug and yeah ;-;
We could add angst where somebody gets hurt during a mission if we really wanted, but pfft, I’m just aggressively vibin with the fluff rn ksmsdfaoiwefdf (one of them gets thrown into a wall and Kai goes feral--)
Anyway, they’re different versions of his family, not them, but also not not them, they’re their own people, but they’ve got a lot in common, and as time passes they become less like mini-versions and more like a bunch of unique little siblings for Kai.
He uh… gets really lonely sometimes, and it hurts like crazy to not be around his family after so long with them and after going through so much and while he has faith in them insecurities happen, and sometimes he just has to repeat that they are looking and they will come for him to help him sleep at night. There are days when he doesn’t want to move, but Lloyd and Koko don’t really let him wallow and Lloyd stays home from school those days and they make popcorn and cookies and sit on Koko’s bed and watch something on Lloyd’s cracked laptop. (WHY AM I MAKING MYSELF EMOTIONAL WITH THIS LKDFMAWOIEMASDF)
He’s there for a while, maybe a month or two, (maybe more depending on how high you want the angst level LOL) before Nya finally drops out of the portal and slams into him in the tightest hug of his life, which is perfectly fine with him because he’s hugging back just as tight even though he can’t really breathe, and he taps out wheezing that she’s “--crushing the life out of me sis, need to breathe here--” She squeezes tighter for a second before finally putting him down (HEIGHT DIFFERENCES, GIMME A SECOND HERE, SO--Movie-Cole’s pretty tall, but he hasn’t hit his main growth spurt yet, that’s not for another year or so, so he’s the closest to Kai’s height, but Kai’s taller then all of them, and show Nya is taller than Kai so she’s WAY tall and buff and awesome looking and they’re all standing there staring cause WOW, Kai looks rather small next to her and he’s been the biggest most awesome thing this whole time and then there’s THIS?--but yeah, Buff tall stronk Nya is my jam that’s all I was getting at ksLKAAKSLDFAOWEF)
Nya finally notices they’ve got an audience.
Nya: Uh… Kai? Why are there mini versions of us?
Kai: Meet alternate reality/universe/realm us, but also not us. I’ve adopted them all.
Nya: Of course you have.
There’s some laughing, and the movieverse crew rushes forward to meet the sister Kai’s been talking up, (Nya’s freaking thrilled, AU her is EPIC--) except for Lloyd because… well, he knows what’s coming next.
Goodbye.
Which is just… gonna be soul crushing. Lloyd’s happy that Kai’s finally gonna be able to go home, they all are, but… it means they have to say goodbye. And it’s not like he lives in a different city, he lives in a literal other realm for crying out loud, it’s not like they can even give him a phone call.
So that’s a whole other thing ;-;
Which Kai realizes too after a second, and his smile fades.
They all kinda stand there for a second and Nya sees what’s happening and yeah, he wasn’t kidding about adopting them, they all looked like they were about to cry.
Jay goes first sniffing and wiping at his eyes and Kai just kinda melts and just… “aww no, Jay… come ‘ere--” opening his arms and Jay stumbles forward and hugs him; Cole comes over wordlessly, brows furrowed and kinda leans into him; Kai (show Kai probably had to come up with a nickname for himself so that they didn’t all get endlessly confused. He also probably came up with nicknames for all of them as well lol) practically throws himself into his arms and Nya and Zane are there next, Zane’s just aggressively frowning like he’s having trouble following the situation and Nya’s stubbornly not crying.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay, guys,” which it’s not, but… y’know. It kinda has to be.
Lloyd joins the hug: “I don’t want you to go.”
Yeah everybody starts crying.
“I’m really sorry, but we have a time limit, we gotta go, Kai.” CAUSE YEAH, OF COURSE THERE’S A FREAKING TIME LIMIT. D’:<
“Right, right,” Kai wipes his eyes and they all step out of the hug also wiping their eyes and sniffling and D: AAAHHHHHHH SOMEONE HELP THESE POOR CHILDREN--
And Lloyd’s kinda distraught and maybe looking for an excuse to maybe convince him to stay: “But, but you haven’t said goodbye to mom yet, and--”
Jay tumbles out of the portal, kinda ruining the moment. “nYA! TIME CRUNCH, WE KINDA NEED YOU TWWWwwwwhaaat am I looking at?”
“Jay! You were supposed to wait on the other side!”
“Nya, are you aware that there are a bunch of mini us’s here?”
It makes Kai laugh, which makes Jay realize he’s there and he basically leaps at him for a hug “KAI!” before releasing him immediately like “ wAIT, NO, hugs later, we gotta go!”
And then Cole pokes his head out of the portal and is like “JAY! I TOLD YOU NOT TO--why are there are bunch of mini us’s?”
“That’s what I said!”
“DO YOU HAVE KAI!?” Lloyd’s next, accidentally pushing Cole all the way through the portal sending him crashing into Nya. “Sorry, Cole! Zane says we got thirty seconds, and--” he stops upon noticing their doppelgangers and blinks. “Um… hi?”
Movie Lloyd waves and Lloyd gives a yelp as he’s yanked back and Zane’s head pops out next and he’s like Y’ALL BETTER MOVE IT OR I’M GONNA LOSE IT--completely unphased by the mini-them’s, which finally gets them all moving.
(Yes, everybody gets an appearance sdklfmawef why? Because I said so. And because I want the Movie!Ninja to see their show counterparts all epic and aged up and *incoherent screaming*)
“We’ll deal with this later,” Nya says, pushing Kai towards the portal.
“But--!”
“No buts, get through the portal, we’ll figure out a way to contact your mini ninja so you can keep in touch or something, but we gotta go now.”
Kai looks back at them and Movie!Lloyd musters the best reassuring smile he can despite his very clearly sad-about-this-whole-thing aura, and Kai gets a determined look on his face and nods once. “I’ll be back.” A promise.
And then his family pulls him through the portal and he’s gone.
(Heck, what is this? A whole fic concept? LAKMSDFA;OWEIF WHY NOT)
Things are… quiet without him. They’re all pretty sad about it. Koko didn’t need to ask to know when Lloyd got home that day and just pulled him into a hug. They had a sleepover in her room that night and watched some movies while Lloyd tried not to feel like he’d just lost a member of his family.
(OUCH?????)
If this was a fic this last chapter would mostly be from the Movieverse’s POV to keep the suspense and whatnot, but as it is not I’ma throw that out the window lkasmfwoef
Kai’s reunion with his fam is basically a big group hug that just turns into a hug pile because they all got knocked over by somebody and ended up in the floor, and Kai’s happy and relieved and WOW it’s so freaking good to see them and be home, but after the initial happy high, he gets a little quiet. Nya pulls him aside and assures him that she was serious about what she said and they were gonna figure out a way for him to be able to communicate and visit with them.
And they do. They might have to uh… chip a piece or ten off of the realm crystal, but they’re small ones so it’s fine, probably not at all dangerous or anything, or gonna mess with the crystal, and they make a phone for him to keep in contact with them--actually they make communications devices for the whole team so they can keep in contact if they ever get stranded in another realm. They’re fancy and you can change where your reception is tuned to, so Kai can receive texts from them.
Lloyd gets a text from an unknown number with like Yo, wassup, that-nick-name-kai-probably-gave-him-that-only-he-would-know? And AAHH EXCITEMENT LESSSS GOOOOOOO >:D!!! ;A;
So he’s part of a group chat, and they can text him when they need a pep talk or just… want to talk to him cause he’s their big brother now. (Also Kai 100% makes a group chat for both universes and calls it Fruit Ninja or something dumb/amazingly funny and clever which I am not currently capable of replicating, and it is utter chaos of the best kind)
(The movieverse crew all think that the show crew need to get therapy as soon as humanly possible though LAKMFDAOWEF)
The realm crystal is pretty dangerous though, so visiting is… not often, but he does pop in now and again when he can, sometimes surprising him, usually because it’s unplanned and not even he knows he’s going until he’s opening the portal LOL.
So yeah, and they talked to each other regularly and sent memes and lived happily ever after or whatever sldfamweiofmasd
I may have… gone a little overboard with this, did nOT mean to write a whole dang fic summary, but yOU KNOW WHAT, WHY NOT, it was a perfectly valid use of my time. RIP IF YOU READ THROUGH IT ALL LOL

scrawny | pjs
Pairing: Bad Boy! Jisung x Chilhood Besfriend! Reader
Warnings: swearing, underage drinking, a lot of beating people up, **TW: minor instance of sexual battery, stops really early on**
Genre: Angst, some hints of fluff?
Word Count: 10,805 whoops
It was expected that guilt etched itself into your heart. You were the reason Park Jisung was so beaten up, after all. You always were.
inspired by the song Scrawny by the Wallows!
a/n; I apologize if the contents of this fic personally harm you in anyway; I really never meant to hurt anyone, I just wanted to write a more mature-themed fic.
08 . 07 . 12
“You can’t beat me! I’m older and stronger than you, Sungie!” The high pitched voice of your prideful older brother irked your ears as you timidly picked on the weeds below your crouched knees. His hollers, coupled with laughs from his twin always ruined the calmness the breeze brought you. Your eyes glance towards the poor boy on the receiving end of the torture, none other than the boy next door, Park Jisung. You huffed out a sympathetic sigh. No matter how annoying your brothers get, that poor kid just a few feet away from you always had it worse.
Donghyuck, your first older brother, started at the neighbourhood weakling first. His fist hurled towards Jisung’s lower waist before the second member of this cursed partnership, Jeno, trapped the poor kid’s skull in a headlock. Jisungs figure plummeted into the grass, his small fists punching the air as he failed to fight back. Donghyuck belts out another one of his ear shattering howls before turning to your once peaceful frame.
“Y/N! LOOK! WE BEAT JISUNG AGAIN!”
Your hands find themselves tugging at the grass a little harder than you wanted to, the green residue staining your palms once you finally let go. You were almost at your limit with Donghyuck and Jeno, the two buttheads you had to call family. You had enough of it all. You stomp towards your brothers as rays of irritation emitted from you.
“You two are so annoying sometimes! Can’t you just stay put and be quiet for ONCE?” you pleaded, your demanding voice throwing everyone at the park off, especially your two brothers. After all, you were always quiet, always patient with them. They watched fearfully as you gestured towards the poor Jisung lying limp on the grass, bloody bruises and scars covering up his once innocent skin. The air froze still as everyone on the playground waited for your next words. “And please stop hurting Jisung already! He’s younger than you, it’s not fair!”
Jisung winced at your words. He knew you'd say that he wasn’t strong enough. He rubs the fresh scab on his knee, his eyes concentrating on the drops of blood dripping down from it, in the hopes of distracting himself from his own confusing feelings. He knew he was weak, more than anyone else on this playground. But hearing it from you hurt just a little bit more.
The air between the four of you grew silent, the only thing making any noise was the wrestling leaves caught in the spring breeze. In any other occasion, you would have taken your time to relish this moment, but now you had your dumb, older brothers to take care of. You scan their seemingly scared figures before Donghyuck once again lets out an aggravating chuckle.
“You can’t talk to us like that!!” Donghyuck suddenly gave you a stern look, slightly shaking his head in disappointment, as Jeno stepped beside him. “You better watch your mouth, y/n. We’re older than you, remember?”
Fear shot down your spine. What were you thinking? You’d practically be dead meat once your mom finds out you yelled at them! You sealed your eyes as you braced for impact, impact of your brothers lecturing fists breaking your frame. Impact that, also, never seemed to actually occur. Slowly your eyes opened, revealing something jaw dropping.
Jisung’s back faced you, his stance showing an essence of power his 10 year old figure never showed before. His hands, already bruised and crumpled into fists, lowered themselves to his side as your older brothers both took their turn laying defeated on the beat up grass. Groaning in pain, Donghyuck cuddled his newly injured torso, while Jeno soothed his side with the back of his palm.
“Don’t talk to y/n like that, Donghyuck.” Jisung boomed, his eyes never leaving the sight of the two conquered 12 year olds still drowning in pain.
Later that night, you watched as all three boys sunk into an endless night of lectures about not getting into fights, a night you were luckily allowed to skip. Your mind runs back to that earth shattering scene, your brothers lying below the neighborhood weakling, his stance more powerful than those of superheros. You watched Jisung trot home from your bedroom window
Maybe Park Jisung isn’t so weak after all.
...
05 . 16 . 15
“Zhong Chenle, If you make us late to class ONE MORE TIME I swear I will hurt you.” You threaten your new neighbour on the phone. You rubbed your temples with the nimble pads of your fingers, knowing full well Chenle hasn’t even brushed his teeth yet.
“Hold on! I’m almost ready, just give me like five more minutes!”
“You said that ten minutes ago!”
“I mean it this time! I swear!”
“Just hurry up, ok?” You pleaded before cutting the call. As you hastily shoved your phone into your jacket pocket, a disheveled Chenle emerged from his front door, the piece of toast hanging from his lips reminiscent of those anime girls Donghyuck always drooled over.
You could still remember the day Chenle came into your life, taking over the vacant house beside yours. His bubbly, cheerful demeanour taking over your entire summer with all these trips to the basketball court and raids at the neighbourhood convenience store. In your eyes, he was the perfect addition to your neighbourhood friend group, which at that point in your life, only consisted of you and the neighborhood scrawny boy, Park Jisung. Well, that’s what you thought at least.
As the days diverted from bright and sunny, to cold and frigid, and as the three of you grew more overwhelmed with middle school, Jisung grew more and more distant. As for the reason? Well, you wanted to know more than anyone, but that puzzle was harder to crack than any of your grade 7 homework. These days, it was so rare to see his face, you almost forgot he shared a class with you, or still resided six steps beside your house.
“When do you think Jisung’s gonna hang out with us again?” Chenle’s abrupt voice awoke you from your sorrowful slumber. Your head sinks down, your eyes watching your feet on the subway floor. “I don’t know, Chenle.”
Your ears couldn’t help but drown out your teacher’s voice as they taught today’s lesson. You had other things to worry about, anyways. Like what you were going to eat today, or how your hair looked tied up like how it is now. But more importantly, what was going through his mind from across the classroom. It wasn’t long before the bell finally rang, signaling the student’s freedom. Your exhausted eyes watched as the herd of teenagers crowded the exit, leaving three figures inside and all alone; you, Chenle, and Jisung.
From the corner of your eye, you watch Chenle slumps his bag over his shoulders as he, with overflowing panic, shuffled towards the brooding teenager, who looked like he was just staring at you a minute ago. Off to the side, you prayed for Chenle’s success. Or more accurately, his safety.
“H-hey Jisung, do you wanna, uh, walk home with us?”
Jisung pondered for a little bit, then continued.
“...us?”
“Yeah, me and y/n.” Chenle raised a palm in your direction while Jisung’s eyes followed almost instantly. All while you tried your best to hide the fact you were watching all of this go down.
You sensed a shift in Jisungs mood just then, going from simply tired and wanting to head home already, to… anger? Why would he be angry?
“No thanks, you guys can go ahead”
Jisung shot up from his desks, various chairs and classroom furniture shivering in fear. Jisung winced at those words. The same sting he felt all those years ago at the playground with Donghyuck and Jeno, ripped through his chest. But it wasn’t like he was being called weak, or that he needed to prove his worth. No, it was simply that you were with someone else. Not with him. “But we all live on the same street.”
“I’m fine, Chenle”
“Come on, man-”
Suddenly, Jisung whipped around, facing the innocent transfer student. He shot him one last glare before sending his figure to the ground with his fist, faster than the bullet train that provided you a ride to school this morning. Chenle let out a howl of pain as you bounced out of your seat, coming to his aid. Jisung watches as you hold Chenle’s body close, closer than he would’ve liked, before sending you a glare as well.
“Stay away from y/n” He huffed before trekking away from the scene of his own crime. You follow closely behind, the zipper of your bag opening wider as you drag it along.
“Jisung!” You cry, your eyes scanning the halls for your neighbor, your neighbor that was always full of surprises. You finally find him slowly making his way towards the school doors before he stops, turning around to face you.
You never really noticed how much he grew over these few years. Now, his figure was taller, much taller than yours ever could be, easily towering over your small frame. His shoulders were broader, he looked meaner. This wasn’t your scrawny neighbourhood friend any more.
“What?” He muttered, his face noticeably softer now that Chenle was out of his sight. His fingers gripped the strap of his bag as he stared you down, watching you fumble with your own words. He would rather die than admit it, but you looked cute, all nervous like that.
“Why’d you hit Chenle?”
“I-” Now he was the stuttering mess. “I don’t know”
He paused, his suddenly guilty eyes meeting yours. “I didn’t like him being with you.”
You could almost laugh in disbelief. Was he being serious? Your head cocks to the side while your arms cross into themselves. “Jisung, please”
Jisung held his head down, knowing full well of how lame he was right now. Your eyes however, tried finding his again. Reassurance etched in each of your pupils as you lightly nudged his shoulder.
“Don’t worry Jisung, I’m not gonna leave you.”
His frame brightened up instantaneously as you watched him practically jump for joy at your words. So after all those years, Jisung was still a big softie, huh?
“Now, go apologize to Chenle and let’s all go home together, ok?” You spun around, back to the classroom. Jisung swiftly trailed behind you. Of course he didn’t think twice about his apology. Sure, his pride was at stake, but for you? Park Jisung would do anything.
...
04 . 10 . 17
“Get off me, you freak!” The pinned down middle schooler scowled under the grasp of Jisung’s bloodied knuckles. He gasped for air as Jisung clamped his hands down in a chokehold. Jisung tired his best to shoot him a mean glare through his bruised and blackened eye.
“Don’t you dare touch y/n like that, got it?” He growled, his eyes never leaving the sight of the suffering student. Jisung watched as he desperately pried himself away from Jisung’s grasp. He deserved this, though. That moron had zero right grazing his against your thigh. Especially not on his watch.
“It was an accident!” The student dizzily coughed out, his neck still trapped between Jisungs strong palms. “I won’t do it again, alright? Just let me go already!!”
Like the parting of the red sea, Jisung’s palms subsided from the student’s neck, finally setting him free. The student collapsed to the ground, hissing in pain before sending Jisung a dirty look. The various students that once crowded around the scene rushed away to the sounds of an irritated teacher, leaving an awestruck Chenle, a damaged Jisung, and your guilt ridden self behind in the third year hallway. It was expected that guilt etched itself into your heart. You were the reason Park Jisung was always so beaten up, after all. You always were.
Your sorrowful frame couldn’t muster up the courage to spit out a cohesive sentence before the P.A. system blasted through your ears. The next words that deadpan, robotic voice would utter were terribly easy to predict.
“Park Jisung to the principal’s office, please. Park Jisung to the principal’s office. Thank you.”
“Ow! That stings!” Jisung seethed, his hands, newly patched the moment you retired home for the night, digging into your teddy bear’s flesh as you applied the medicine to his wounded cheekbone. You scoffed beside him, picking up more medicine with the q-tip in your hand. “Well, it wouldn’t have to sting if you didn’t beat up that kid in the first place!”
“He touched you weirdly!” He groaned in pain as you plopped another layer of that ice cold medicine he hated.
“It was an accident! And he apologized before you choked him to near-death!” You shot back, your grip on the q-tip growing tighter. A sensation you noticed only happened whenever emotions overflowed in your heart. The pads of your fingertips gently spread a bandaid over his callous skin as the air in your bedroom grew tense. Your chest pushed out a heaving sigh. “I’m sorry, y/n.”
“I can take care of myself, Jisung.” You glanced down, cleaning up the mess from your first-aid kit. “So please, stop hurting yourself for me. I hate seeing you all beat up like this, Sungie.”
Sungie. Sungie. It sent butterflies to his stomach. That simple childish nickname, pulling him back to that playground. The start of his fighting career. He didn’t care if that was some random nickname from Donghyuck. It sounded better when you said it. Much, much better.
Jisung awoke from his daze as he felt a pair of lips softly graze his newly mended cheek. His head whipped fast to face you, but barely catching up to the record breaking speed of his ears turning pink. With his cheeks soon following after. His eyes, wider than any body of ocean found on this planet, flusteredly stared you down with only one question in mind. What. Was. That.
You held your clumsy eye contact as you leaned away from your rushed, but sweet, kiss. “Please?” You barely let out in a whisper. Jisung let out a soft grin, his hand hesitantly brushing yours.
“Alright.”
You once again watched Jisung trek the four steps to his front door before freefalling onto your bed, a full on, red-cheeked, flustered mess. Lee y/n, what the hell is wrong with you.
...
07 . 23 . 17
The ice cream melting at such a rapid pace underneath the scolding summer heat was the least of your and Chenle’s concerns. Not with the moving truck parked outside the house of your childhood neighbor and friend?, Park Jisung. After sending flabbergasted looks to each other, the two of you bolted to the front door, disregarding any need of cleaning up after yourselves.
You couldn’t keep still as Chenle banged his fist on the door. Was he moving out? You thought back to this summer. The countless nights the three of you would relish in each other’s company, whether it would be just resting on one of your beds, scrolling through your phones, or at the playground, taking turns on the ancient swings. You smiled to yourself, remembering how Jisung would never swing himself, opting to just push you instead. Would you ever see him again? Your heart cracked open just a little bit at that last thought. The possibility of him leaving you? It hurt more than any punch or chokehold could.
Suddenly, the tired figure of Jaemin, Jisung’s level-headed older brother, emerged. His irritated expression contrasting his welcoming gestures as he allowed the two of you inside without saying a word. And while you had nothing against Jaemin, you really wanted to see Jisung. That boy had some explaining to do.
“Boarding school!? Overseas!?” You and Chenle collectively yelp in surprise, the lemonade Jaemin generously provided you quivering in response.
“Yeah, our parents thought it was a good way to calm him down, get rid of that fighting habit he got over the years.” Jaemin informed. “He left yesterday, didn’t he tell you?”
Your lip bled as you bit into its flesh. No, he didn’t tell you. But you had a strong gut feeling you were the very reason for that hiatus he was taking from your life. You couldn’t help but lock yourself in your bedroom for the rest of the night, against poor Chenle’s wishes. All of it, everything was your fault. Park Jisung wasn’t the weakling, now. You were.
...
03 . 18 . 19
The azure sky looked almost haunted at night. Chills raged through your spine as you, and an exhausted Chenle, shuffled your way home. Your plastic bag of trophies, commemorating another shop raid, hung loosely from your fingertips. Your figure gravitated towards the worn out playground bench as Chenle let out another ear piercing yawn. You were glad he didn’t retire to his own home just yet, though. You enjoyed his company.
“God! My brother’s stuff was such a pain to lug around!” Chenle screeched, soothing his lower back with his palm as you opened one of the few soft drinks you earned from the convenience shop. “Why’d he have’ta move out for college now?”
“It’s not like he had a choice, you know.” you fought. “School does start back up tomorrow.”
“Don’t start with that now, y/n.” Chenle enveloped his forehead in his hands in a petrified manner, as you tried your best to stifle your laughter away. “uGH! SCHOOL’S SUCH A PAIN!!”
You took another sip of your ice cold drink, the can so frozen, it felt hot against your skin. You, however, didn’t really hate the idea of highschool starting up again. You weren’t some measly, small first year anymore. You actually had friends now. But of course, it was a good distraction from the 2 year childhood-neighbour-sized hole in your heart.
“You’re still thinking about him, huh?” Chenle leaned on the opposing side of the wooden park bench, taking a monstrous bite of the chocolate bar he threw aside his 2 dollars for. You sent him a stare, one conveying an emotion even you couldn’t pinpoint. “You already know what I’m gonna say, Chenle.”
Chenle let out a light scoff before softly tapping the exposed skin of your forehead with his knuckles. You squirm, interrupting the calmness that was sipping your drink. You hated that out of all the habits Chenle could have developed, flicking your forehead was one of them. “Don’t worry! All you need to do is distract yourself, and I bet you’ll find one once school starts!”
You tilted your head up to the stars, your eyes shifting to the left as they gazed upon a familiar set of navy window curtains. While Chenle’s harmless habit did nudge you a bit, your own habit of missing Park Jisung, was more detrimental to you than any weak forehead flick could be.
...
“We have a new student today…” The monotonous voice of your newly appointed teacher for the year already blew your ears dry with boredom as your eyes dug through every corner and crevice of this bland classroom for a way to keep you awake. But you deserved some slack to be cut in your favour. It was 9 am in the morning, you would rather be anywhere else but here at the moment. Your eyes were about to roll back in pure exhaustion as your teacher gestured towards the classroom door.
As if on cue, a towering figure sauntered in, woahs and gasps bouncing on the beige walls. You could feel Chenle’s stupefied look burning through the nape of your neck, but you were too trapped in your shock to give him a reciprocating stare. Not with him right in the center of your view.
His uniform wasn’t remotely set on his frame correctly. The paper-like school blouse, which was supposed to be fully buttoned, was opened up, exposing a black graphic t-shirt splattered with text you never considered to be school-appropriate. In place of the faded-plaid, beige trousers that coupled with your uniform, tight black jeans hugged his legs, the gaping rips showcasing old and newer bruises and scars. A small chain hugged his left hip as your teacher once again gestured to the center
“Everyone, please welcome, Park Jisung!”
You knew you were just scanning and processing his appearance like two seconds ago. But finally having that name rip through your ears, you could almost explode from the overwhelmness.
God, can I just pass away now?
...
“Y/n, I won’t ever leave you again.” Jisung’s husky voice brushed through your ears softly, as he cradled your frame, your faces just centimeters apart. His eyes, with all the stars in the sky trapped inside, gave you a look of sincerity you haven’t properly felt in such a long time. He scooped your hair behind your ear before letting out another heart fluttering whisper.
“Be with me, y/n. Let’s run away together, hm?”
“Y/n? Y/N!” The dolphin-esque hollers of Zhong Chenle, combined with the faded ruckus of your school’s cafeteria, jolted you awake from your fantasy as cheap bronze tinted soft drink catapulted itself into the innocence of your white school uniform. Snorts and giggles filled the chests of your friends, especially Chenle’s, as he skipped away to get you a paper towel.
“You seem so out of it.” The voice of a concerned Sungchan your一classmate and resident caretaker一notices, handing you the towel Chenle oh so urgently retrieved.
“When am I ever in it?” you scowled as you began destroying the fabric with the white cloth. It earned a sweet chuckle as Sungchan discreetly slid the bottle of pop away from your grasp, avoiding another image-wrecking incident. He shined a refreshing grin in your direction as Chenle bounced back onto the lunch table.
“She was probably just bein’ emo about Jisung again, leave her be, Sungchan.” Chenle leaned in to inspect your once again dazed figure, the clicks of his judging tongue just pissing you off a little more than it usually did. “Weren’t you, y/n?”
Of course you were, you always were.
“Park Jisung? The new kid? He was an asshole to her, she's allowed to be mad, right?” The other new addition to this weird clique (and your saving grace), Shotaro, chimed in.
Chenle let out another snort, his knowing eyes now glaring at yours. “You would think so, Sho, you would think so.”
“Okay. But he still outright ignored her, right? That’s still a pretty bad move” Shotaro rebutted. Chenle’s eyes went from devious to anxious in a heartbeat as the air around you grew silent.
Yes, Park Jisung一your friend and neighbour for almost all of your life, did indeed ignore you after two whole years of little to no contact. And yes, you were bitter about it. Hell, it broke your heart, smashed it into pieces better than any one of his anger filled punches could. The way his eyes never fully reached yours, his cold, irritated expression. His back turned away from you, this time in an effort to hurt you.
Although, he shouldn’t have this effect on you. For two years, you were deprived of his dangerous yet heartwarming company. You were left alone, ignored via text, forgotten. You could handle this. You watched as he shuffled past your table silently, earning gasps from the audience of students as the delinquent character he recently shifted into. You could handle leaving Jisung. Right?
“I know what could get your mind off that asshole!” Sungchan suddenly chirped beside you, earning the eyes of a curious Shotaro and a confused Chenle. You however, tuned in as fast as humanly possible, praying for any decent distraction you could get.
“Let’s go on a date.”
Jisung couldn’t pry his eyes off your figure, glistening under the afternoon sun that peeked through the cafeteria windows. Your attention, laid on anything else but him as you chatted away with your new friends. He stabbed the stale food with the flimsy plastic fork as he watched you, from the other side of the room, let out your signature laugh; a window-wiper sounding chuckle that you always shielded with your hand. He hated that hand part, though, your smile was too pretty to hide.
Despite your upbeat demeanour, he knew you. Confused at his lack of connection, the barren text threads on your phone. He knew you were probably furious at him right now, for not even sparing her a glance throughout class. And despite how much he just wishes to just stomp on over to you, pick up your precious frame, and kiss you right then, he couldn’t.
He scans his morning old text threads, finding any way to distract himself from the fanservice playing in his thoughts. He clicks the most recent thread, a thread that only made him regret his decision to pick up his phone ever.
Jaem Bro [8:46am]: have fun at school :)
Jaem Bro [8:46am]: remember what mom said, too. don’t talk to y/n
Jaem Bro [8:47am]: she’ll only bring back your bad habits
Jisung scowls as he shoves his phone away.
Piss off, Jaemin.
...
“I had fun today.” Sungchan hummed as he practically skipped beside you that Saturday night. His towering figure shielded you from the glaring light of the street lamp as you softly hummed a response. “Yeah, I had fun too.”
Of course you weren’t lying. All in all, you truly did have a good time on your date. Sungchan kept his promise, all while enjoying kittens at a cat cafe, demolishing your self esteem at the arcade, and even feeding you food you never thought a 17 year old could afford. For the whole day, it felt like that Jisung-shaped hole in your heart was filled, simply retiring into an afterthought. And that would be true, if you hadn’t passed by an all too familiar bedroom as you walked home that night.
It was an all too familiar feeling, the clenching of your heart as you gazed upon those curtains. His bed, which was also in view, sending you memories of patching that clumsy boy up almost every day. It all washed back to you. Sungchan suddenly nudged your side, waking you up from your cursed thought train. But after seeing what he saw, all you could do was yearn to return back to your dreamland.
To say that Jisung’s eyes simply widened at the sight of you, grinning sweetly at another guy, would be a definite understatement. He came so close to dropping his newly opened soda can as a series of texts shifted into his mind
Don’t talk to y/n, she’ll only bring back your bad habits.
Jisung clenches his jaw watching you giggle at that asshole’s (presumably bad) joke. Maybe Jaemin was right. Maybe he shouldn’t talk to you anymore. You clearly didn’t need him now.
“Jisung?” You yelped, stunned. Jisung watched you slowly inch back closer to that beanpole. He felt his limbs being pulled back into his fighting habits, jealousy burning through his lips. His hands, still off to his sides, balling up into fists. Someone was gonna get hurt tonight.
“Were you guys on a date?”
“We-”
“Yeah, we were'' Sungchan cut in, his arm shielding you from Park Jisung’s wrath. “Got a problem with that, buddy?”
Steam puffed from Jisung’s ears as he stalked towards Sungchan. “You got some nerve talking to me like that, buddy” Jisung hissed. He was at his limit. He gave Sungchan one last nasty look. Target: Acquired. Except, with the last two years of zero practice under his belt, his aim wasn’t exactly good. It was horrible, actually.
It all happened too fast for you, one second you were safely guarded by Sungchan’s shoulder. The next? Lying limp at the mercy of Jisung’s hatred-filled fist. His knuckles jabbing deep into the crevice of your cheekbone. Deep down, you knew it was probably just an accident. But your heart didn’t listen to you. It never did.
“Ji-” You could barely muster through your own tears. You wanted to scream from the pain. But not just the physical pain.
Jisung stood frozen before your defeated figure. Shit. What the hell was wrong with him. All he wanted was to knock out that asshole for a little bit.
“I-” Jisung stammered
“Forget it, Jisung. Quit being an asshole and leave me alone!” You spat out those last few words a little louder than you intended to as you wobbled up, storming away. Away from him, away from Sungchan and your own home. You didn’t care how far you’d go. You didn't care about the sudden rainfall pouring on you. Your mind just told you one thing and one thing only. Run
I hate you so much, Park Jisung.
Jisung waited for the sky to dress into its daily midnight attire before finally ducking into the comfort of his own home. He was overwhelmed, to say the least. Pissed, definitely, with that Sungchan asshole just existing around you. Tired, for staying out till 1 in the morning again. But mostly guilt, for being the very reason your eyes weren’t completely dry that night. He knew he was gonna regress into his fighting habits soon enough, but never like this. His eyes glazed over his screen clicking on a familiar contact.
“You WHAT?” Chenle shocked what was left of Jisung’s poor eardrum as he gawked in full astonishment. Jisung couldn’t see Chenle’s face, but he knew for a fact it was scrunching up in confusion. Jisung watched the still streetlight from his bedroom window, guilt still welling up in him. “Man, what am I gonna do?”
“Oh, I don’t know? Apologize?”
“How am I gonna do it? She’s not gonna wanna talk to me after this! I’m screwed!” Chenle grew silent on the other line, his brain striking an idea harder than the sudden rain pour. “That’s it! Sung, what’s y/n’s favorite thing to buy at the shop? The one down our street?”
Jisung’s eyebrows furrowed. “...She likes their ramen a lot, but what’s that got to do with any of this?”
“Meet me at the shop tomorrow morning. I know how to fix this.”
...
“SUNGIEEE!” Donghyuck shrieked, throwing Jisung off of his caution-filled thought process as the front door blew wide open. Although, it wasn’t much of a thought process, but rather just the repeated question of What the hell am I doing here, and you, of course. But no matter, you were always running through his mind anyways. Donghyuck pulled Jisung into a tight, brotherly hug. “Where have ya been?? I missed you!”
Jisung shined a bogus smile at his childhood bully. This better fucking work, Zhong Chenle.
Jisungs legs drowned in a pool of hesitance as he shuffled into your home, his ears shielding the irritable rambles of Lee Donghyuck, one half of the annoying Lee Twins duo. He didn’t care if he hadn't seen Donghyuck’s face in over two years, the only thing he searched for was you.
“You’re here for y/n right? She got a cold from the rain last night, but I could probably let you in.” Donghyuck informed, as if he could read Jisung’s mind.
“You should hurry up and be our in-law soon, Sungie!” He nudged Jisung’s arm a few times, a mischievous grin suggesting that he either read into his mind a little too much, or that Jisung was just blatantly obvious about his feelings. He prayed that it wasn’t the latter. Another figure suddenly emerged from the kitchen, giving Donghyuck a nice, crisp slap on the nape of his neck.
“Oi, quit bein’ such a creep, will you?” Lee Jeno, the other, more down-to-earth half of the Lee twins, defied. “He’s 17, dumbass.”
Donghyuck jokingly wailed in pain, a habit he's kept since childhood, apparently. Jeno turned his attention to Jisung, a sympathetic stare shining in his eyes. At least he turned out half-way decent.
“Y/n’s upstairs if you need her, but uh-” Jeno scratches his head. “I don’t think she wants to see you, or anyone, really.”
“That’s fine,” Jisung’s eyes ducked to the bag of snacks hanging from his hand. “I’ll just drop these off and head out.”
“Don’t have too much fun, Sung-OW!” Donghyuck chirped, irking Jisung as he earned a slap on the shoulder from his twin. Thank god for Jeno.
Your aching head actually didn’t hurt that much, at least compared to the pain of your brooding heart. You watched a leaf fall to the ground from your bedroom window. The pain still piercing through your side, the guilt for leaving Sungchan behind at the playground, or the confusing monstrosity of Park Jisung, it all overtook you. Your measly little brain couldn’t handle it.
The creaking of the door wasn’t enough to spin you back to reality, but apparently, his cautious footsteps were. Your head snapped forward, your eyes meeting the view of his ripped jeans, and a plastic bag littered with snacks. Of course.
“Jisung?”
“H-hey”
You watched as Jisung stammered under his breath. He looked so nervous facing you, worlds more nervous than moment’s before one of his brawling sessions.
Jisung’s eyes kept rejecting yours as he fumbled with the plastic bag amidst his grasp. To be completely honest, Jisung was sure you wouldn’t even let him in, much less talk to him. Even if it was in such a cold manner. He shuffled towards her laying figure, his eyes still glued to the wall as he hands her the plastic bag.
“I, uh一no, my mom wanted me to give you this.” Jisung stuttered.
You dig through the bag, the only thing trapped within it bound to give you diabetes. You scoff. “Your mom wants me to eat instant noodles?”
Shit, right. That doesn’t make any sense.
“Ahaha, yea” Jisung trailed off, backing away from you before proceeding to brutally stab his elbow onto your door handle. Who’s dumb idea was it to name it the funny bone, anyways? Nothing about it was funny. He lets out a soft hiss after finally turning away from you. Well, maybe Jisung himself was, he was a clown, afterall.
“Wait.” You suddenly squeaked, making Jisungs' shoulders jerk up. Was she gonna-
“Come help me.” You handed him the cup noodles, wanting nothing but to laugh at his stupid, stupifyied face. You sniffled. “I can’t make noodles by myself like this, you idiot.”
“Oh, right.” Park Jisung, you absolute clown.
...
Out of all the situations you could get stuck in, the last one you expected was in your bedroom, trapped in an annoying cold whilst being fed instant noodles by your childhood neighbor, Park Jisung, three whole days after that incident. You watched as his plastic fork, etched in a tremble that had you thinking he was going to die that instant, hastily scooped the processed food before making its way to your mouth.
However, and you would rather die than admit it, but you missed this warm sensation. You missed the company Jisung provided, the way he would grow soft just for you, moments after beating up some stupid kid. The countless bandages you used in his favour as you patched him up almost every night. You missed it all. And despite having him back in your street, he never really came back to your life. It was all different now.
You watched him chuck the fork into the now empty noodle bowl, his next few actions sending you on the verge of cardiac arrest.
With a tissue in hand, Jisung suddenly leaned in, his eyes still veering away from yours as he wiped off some stain on your cheeks. There could have also been no stain at all, and this was just a ruse to get you flustered. Park Jisung has gotten good at playing with your heart lately. His chest was just centimeters apart from yours, any closer and your thumping heart would be completely exposed, not that your vermillion cheeks weren’t a dead give away already.
“A-am I too close?” Jisung barely whispered. Half of you wanted to say yes, while the other half wanted to pull him even closer. You couldn’t handle this anymore.
“Why are you here, Jisung?” You suddenly blurted out as you grabbed a hold of his gentle wrist. “And I know it wasn’t for some stupid noodles.”
Jisung’s chest caved in as he let out a sigh. “I, uh wanted to say sorry.”
Your mind flashes back to that night, the image of his fierce, cold eyes still sending shivers down your spine. Jisung continues, his eyes finally holding yours hostage. Here goes nothing.
“I'm sorry for punching you, for making you run away like that.” His guilt ridden eyes scan your bed-ridden frame. “All of this, it’s all my fault.” His eyes collected the stars that hid beneath the afternoon sky. “If you wanna stop talking to me after this, I understand. I’m not good enough for you.”
There goes your heart again, clenching at anything related to Park Jisung. You hated how he had that effect on you. Yet you also loved it. You let out a soft chuckle sending waves of hope to him. You could never really reject him, could you?
“You really are annoying, sometimes.” You gaze at him, a small grin lining your lips. “But, I don’t think I wanna stop talking to you just yet.” The way Jisung’s frame brightens up the same way it did all those years ago, didn’t fail to warm your heart. “I’ll forgive you, Park Jisung.”
Without thinking, Jisung pulls you into a gentle hug. Burying his face in the crook of your neck, Jisung softly smiled. No matter how many times Jaemin could nag him, Jisung could never stay away from you. His life was finally back to normal.
“Oh! one more thing!” You murmured. He smiled at you sweetly, giving you the signal to continue.
“Sungchan’s one of my good friend’s, so please, don’t try and beat him up? And maybe you could even hang out with Chenle and them at school! There’s some new guys there that I think you’d get along with great!” You suggested, your bright demeanour too strong for Jisung’s poor eyes. “Would you at least try? Promise?”
Jisung shrugged. I mean it wouldn’t hurt. He sends you another soft smile. “Yeah, I promise.”
...
“That’s why you ask for help, dumbass!” Shotaro barked at Chenle, who was currently slumped on the lunch table, brooding about his not so stellar math grade.
“You, good sir, have NO right to talk.” Chenle proudly clapped back. “Mr. ‘35% in english’.” Chenle heaves out an over-exaggerated sigh. “If only y/n was here today, she is the smart one.”
“Yeah, but it isn’t that hard being the smart one around you, Lele.” Jisung shielded Chenle’s incoming offended slap to the shoulder as he nibbled on the plastic straw drowning in his vending machine soft drink. It alarmed him how fast he mended with your friend group, even if it did just consist of that dolphin brat he’s known for years, and probably the sweetest guy he's ever come across, Shotaro. Then again, maybe he shouldn’t beat up every guy he comes across.
Jisung glances around the table, where only three chairs were actually occupied. Doesn’t that Sungchan guy hang out here?
“Where’s Sungchan?” Jisung drew in the attention of his new friend. Shotaro’s fingers tapped the plastic table. “It’s weird, he only hangs out with us sometimes, whenever he feels like it, I guess.” Whenever y/n’s around, you mean, Jisung corrected in his head.
“Or...” Chenle pitched in. “He didn’t wanna hang out with someone who was about to punch him.” Crap. He should probably apologize for that.
“Wait what?”
“Nothing! Don’t worry about it! Ahaha!” Jisung quickly cut off Shotaro, the fear of getting incredibly embarrassed riling through him. He hoisted the empty soda can in between his fingertips before standing up on his two feet. “I’ll, uh, get another one.”
Jisung couldn’t have felt more creepy than he did at that very moment, peeking through the heads of various students as he eyes Sungchan. His mind flashes a very cute image of you, smiling just as softly as you do both three days and two years ago. His breaths grew heavy. This was gonna be easy, just apologize to Sungchan and maybe become his friend, then y/n can really be happy. Jisung let out a deep sigh. For y/n.
He hesitantly sauntered towards the beanpole currently reaching for his newly paid drink at the vending machine. From the looks of it, this Sungchan guy couldn’t hear Jisung’s calls, making him yell louder. He could feel the stares of the confused highschool students burn through him. God, how annoying can this asshole get?
“Here to finish what you started, Park?” Sungchan suddenly sneered, his eyes narrowing nonchalantly at the Park in question. His laid back posture screaming 'you don't wanna mess with me.' Jisung raised an eyebrow, scanning Sungchan's current figure, which didn't match with his image from that night. Taken aback at the sudden mood shift, Jisung stuttered. “No, uh, I wanted to say sorry about that, actually.”
“Save it” Sungchan spat. His eyes fully locked in with Jisung’s before ripping them away at the last second. He encased a white box in his hand before pivoting on his heel. “I'm going for a smoke.”
Jisung eyes go wide. Who the hell is this guy? Sungchan didn’t spare the poor boy a glance before slipping through the school's only emergency exit. Various phrases, all containing the word ‘asshole’, ran through Jisung’s mind as he followed Sungchan, trying his best to remind himself that this was all for you.
The outdoor air brushed lightly against Jisung’s skin, coating him in a refreshing hug. With the pearly blue sky above him, and the lush green trees shading his face, he would’ve relished in the afternoon breeze. He would’ve, if it weren’t for the cigarette smoke overtaking him, all coming from that damn beanpole.
“What the hell do you want from me, Park” Sungchan hissed, a cloud escaping his lips before whipping around. “Are you here to make friends or some shit?” Jisung threw a hesitant nod at his direction.
“Look, Sungchan. Let’s just try to get along. For y/n’s sake. That's all she wants.” Jisung extended a hand to Sungchan, only to earn another annoying ass chuckle. “Why would I wanna do something like that for y/n?”
“Don’t you like her or whatever?”
“No, are you stupid?”
Jisung’s eyebrows stitched together in confusion. “Then why-”
“Isn’t it obvious, Park?” Sungchan, stenchy cigarette breath and all, leaned in. God, Jisung wanted to puke right in front of him. “She's hot. I want her.”
Jisung pondered for a few minutes, and honestly? He wished he never put two and two together. He couldn’t help but hiss under his breath as his hands balled up into their iconic fists. The random dates? The nice guy image? It was all for that? This bastard wanted to take your innocence away. And this bastard had the audacity to hurl another snicker at Jisung.
“You do know what I’m talking about, right?” Sungchan kissed his cigarette one last time before tossing it to the gravel, the poor paper feeling the wrath of his sneakers. “I wanna have sex-”
Jisung didn’t give him the chance to finish before crushing his gut between the school’s brick wall and his iron fist. Jisung leaned in, his eyes burning with a fury he hadn’t felt in nearly two years. “You’ll be dead before you get the chance to even touch her, got that?”
Sungchan let out a mighty growl of pain, bending away as Jisung reconnected his fist to Sungchan’s right cheek. The beanpole flew to the ground, red blood spewing from his nose. Jisung scoffed, standing tall with not a single scratch on his skin. For a little while, at least.
Suddenly, Sungchan flung himself back to his feet, his bruised fist upper-cutting Jisung’s jaw off its course before pinning him down to the stiff hard rock of the pavement. His hands pressed themselves onto each side of Jisung’s neck as the boy underneath gasped for air. Jisung’s fingers clamp onto Sunchan’s wrists, pulling for an escape as Sungchan spits out another irking laugh. “You’re not the only one who can put up a good fight, Park”
Jisung sounded off shallow breaths beneath Sungchan’s grasp. “Why would you...y/n…”
“I’m only human, Park. I got needs. And y/n? she was all depressed, just begging for the attention. It only made sense.”
Jisung sent a knee through Sungchans chest, rolling on top of him before staining Sungchan with punches all over his skin. Jisung’s fingers tense up around Sungchan's shirt collar as brings him closer, hissing at his leftover cigarette breath. “That doesn’t give you any damn right to fuck her.”
“Why do you care so much? Last time I checked, you left her without saying a word! Looks to me like you're the last person who she would care about.”
Those texts he left unopened abroad, the missed calls, the wanting stares you sent him on his first day back. It all washed back to Jisung like a typhoon. This bastard was right, he couldn’t protect you like this anymore, he didn’t have the right. He broke your heart over and over again. He was the last person you needed. But no. The bastard needed to be taught a lesson; don't ever mess with his girl.
“Cause I love her, and I won't let you have her.” Jisung suddenly blurted out, praying that the redness on his cheeks was simply blood. Sungchan let out a heaving chuckle. “Oh? Even more of a reason, then!”
Jisung hissed one final time before trapping Sungchan between his legs, throwing heavy punches left and right, staining his shirt, his fists, Sungchan’s face, and the ground with blood. Like a bomb moments before its explosion, there was no stopping him, he was trapped by his own haze of violence. The only thing pulling him back to reality were Shotaro’s arms as he and Chenle guided the two bruised bodies to the nurse’s office.
I’m sorry, y/n. I really am.
...
The image of a bloodied Sungchan, alongside an equally bloodied Jisung, was the last thing you wanted to wake up to from your hefty slumber. Your phone practically levitated from all the buzzing. People you faintly knew, and even some you didn’t, all came to you in utter fear. God, and to think you were on a break.
Y/N!! Sungchan and Jisung were fighting in the parking lot!
Y/N!! You need to come over here asap!!!
You need to control your boys y/n, someone could get seriously injured!!
You couldn’t help but laugh at that last hasty message. It’s too late to worry about someone getting injured. Especially if it’s Park Jisung in question. You glance at probably the only contact that hasn’t, well, contacted you. Your finger, laced with anger, clicks the screen. Park Jisung, you’ve got some explaining to do.
“You don’t understand!” Jisung’s mighty croak pounded through your phone speaker. However, your attention slowly began to drift away. It only made sense, that’s the fifth time he’s pulled that excuse in this call, alone. “That Sungchan guy is a complete asshole!!”
“You say that about every damn guy I talk to, Jisung!” You nagged, your eyes practically rolling to the back of your head in disappointment. Some things just couldn’t change, could they?
“Y/n, I’m telling you!! He’s not as nice as you think he is!” You clenched your phone, agitation seeping through your teeth. Couldn’t he just listen to you for once? “He’s got bad motives, y/n, you don’t wanna hang around someone like him. There’s so many bad things he's hiding from you. The bastard smokes, fights regularly, too, and…”
You heaved out a deep sigh, your knuckles turning white from your angry grip on the bed sheet. First, he pulls the same damn excuses, and then he lies? You couldn’t take it anymore.
“And what? Jisung? What other lies are you gonna tell me?” Silence cuts through your speaker, finally giving your irritated heart a chance to breathe before Jisung continues.
“Wait...you think I’m lying about this?”
“Why wouldn’t I? You’re saying that a highschooler smokes! Jeez, if you didn’t like Sungchan you could’ve just said so!”
“You know I wouldn't lie to you, y/n!” Your buzzing figure leans back into your castle of stuffed animals as your bellows gradually get louder with each passing argument.
“I thought I knew, but you’re really making me second guess things. I’m tired of this, Jisung.” You finally hiss before ending the call, leaving Park Jisung suffocating in yet another guilt-filled haze. Just as you click away from the contact, a notification catches your eye, craving for any sort of distraction from your anger.
Sungchanniee :) [6:37pm]: hey :)
Sungchanniee :) [6:37pm]: you wanna call?
...
"I’m not so sure about this, Sungchan.” You fumbled with your fingers in the passenger's seat of Sungchan's car.
“C’mon! It's a party! It’ll be fun! Think of it as like a way to pay you back, for making you worry so much before.” You think back to your phone call, where you mostly vented about Park Jisung, while all he said was ‘calm down’ like ten times. Maybe he was right. You glanced out the car window, the greyish skyline growing darker and darker with each hour. God, your parents are going to kill you for staying out so late.
“Who is this YangYang guy, anyways?”
“Oh YangYang? That dude’s the best at parties, you’re gonna love him!” Sungchan beamed. You huffed. Anything to get your mind away from your childhood neighbor.
The bass-boosted, trap noise someone had the audacity to call music shook you to your core the moment you entered the party house. You met familiar faces, sure, but none you wanted to talk to. How did anyone have fun like this? Heck, where did Sungchan go? Your now curious eyes glance back to the bar, shiny bronze liquids all dazzled up in their own glass bottles. Nothing like your neighbourhood child self had ever seen. You found yourself drifting closer. What kind of house party was this?
The liquor slid down your throat with an extra sting. Too many flavours, all clashing with each other in the wrong ways. And yet, you found yourself coming for more. You’re already halfway done your first cup of the night when a figure comes up from behind you.
“Hey! I’m YangYang! Sungchan brought you, right?” He extended a hand out to you as you exchanged greetings. He carried your attention to the top of the stairs as you desperately tried to hear him over the music. “Uh-yeah, I’m y/n.”
“Just to let you know, we have a chill out room if you ever need a quiet place to stay.” YangYang informed, his smile radiating welcoming energy. “It’s up on the third floor, just to your left. Have fun!”
You bid him farewell before you resumed staring intently at your drink, hoping no one else would spare you a glance.
45 minutes and probably 2 drinks (though it really felt like 6) later, Your head starts banging with a sharp pain you never felt before, clenching at your brain. You hiss in pain, the bass pounding music only making you feel sick. You wobbly retreat up to that chill room YangYang mentioned. That would calm you down, right?
“Hey” The sudden yet comforting voice of Sungchan alarmed you as you creaked the door open. He was perched onto the bed, the light of the lamp setting his skin on fire. Your eyes couldn’t look at him for long, though, not with your heavy eyelids drooping. Sungchan scoots aside, patting a now vacant space on the guest bedroom, just for you. “You should rest, you look exhausted.”
...
Chenle slammed the car door shut, shoving his car keys in his pocket as Shotaro followed swiftly. The evening breeze swayed the flaps of Chenle’ jacket as he shivered. “We’re at the party now, Sung.” He muttered to his phone.
“Alright.” Jisung could barely breathe as he perched his head on his damp pillow, not with the guilt still rushing through his body. His eyes, still red and swollen, watched the bright stars contrast from the midnight sky. It was the first time he's stayed in at night. Yet he was in no condition to go out. Sure, the stars shined bright tonight, but his star was forever gone. He’d lost you.
“You just want us to check on her, right?” Chenle implored as Shotaro greeted the party, putting up his best ‘I actually want to be here!’ face. Jisung huffed softly through the other end. “Yeah.”
“Take care of y/n for me.”
...
Like a magnet, you flew onto the bed, positioning yourself for a good night’s rest. Sungchan swiftly laid beside you, a groan escaping his lips as he positioned himself too. You inhale, the air around you smelling faintly of…cigarettes? You brush it aside, this is a highschool house party, afterall.
Sungchan watched as your eyes struggled to stay open, his face merely inches away from your peaceful one. His heartbeat grew faster and faster, his heart racing as he pushed your hair behind your ear. A sly smirk lined his lips.
He started off slow, peppering kisses all over your sleeping figure as he made sure you weren't fully awake. Softly, he pinned you down, the blades of your shoulders digging into the mattress as he got on top of you, fully encasing your frame in his. YangYang's a genius, letting him use the guest bedroom like this. Sungchan felt you tremble under him, wriggling around as you send whimper-like sounds in his direction. He grew hot, practically salivating. Park Jisung can finally piss off.
"mmph, Jisung stop it" you uttered unconsciously, throwing Sungchan off his course. Anger ruling through him as he gripped the bedsheets, trying his best not to lash out on your peaceful figure. After all this time? You still thought about him? That asshole? His hand grabs a hold of the bare of your thigh. He was glad you only wore a skirt today.
The touch of a cold palm shook you away from your drunken slumber, only to find Sungchan, pinned on top of you with rosy, flustered cheeks. He stared you down with the hunger of a lion, moments before devouring its next meal. Your eyes widen, the sudden realization of Sungchan's current doings striking you like a flash of lightning.
Jisung was right, he was dangerous.
You pushed Sungchan's chest off of yours as you shot up from the bed, terror dripping from your eyes. His eyes still contained that hunger. A hunger that you were never going to solve. "Get off of me!"
You raced through the door, not sparing him a chance to answer. While sliding down the stairs and slithering through the crowds of drunken teenagers, you barely noticed the tears welling up in your eyes. All of your trust, all of your faith, brutally destroyed right before your eyes. Who could you turn to now??
"Y/n? Where are you going?" Chenle, who arrived late to this horrid party, tugged on your sweater lightly to get your attention. You, however, only responded with a stronger pull away.
"I'm going home, Chenle. I need to get out of here." You huffed breathlessly before escaping, not sparing him or Shotaro a glance. Chenle gave Shotaro a concerned stare before following your footsteps.
Sure, you had the willpower to get as far away from that monster as possible, but your legs didn't. They were weak, wobbly, and the mercy of gravity's pull. Your running form grew sloppy as your arms dragged themselves through the air. You were so beat, that it didn't come to your surprise when your sight switched to black and a thump of hard pavement striking your head before you laid limp underneath the streetlight.
“Y/N!”
...
You convinced yourself you were peacefully floating away on a cloud, so imagine your disappointment when your eye’s flutter open to see your bedroom curtains, followed by your comforter which you drowned in. The sunshine shot your weak eyes as you shifted around, wondering how you ended up back home in the first place. What happened?
Jeno sat right beside your sleeping figure, lazily perched on your desk chair as his eyes abruptly ripped away from his phone screen and onto you. He sent you a heartwarming smile, his once tense expression relaxed at the sight of you, alive and well. You never seen Jeno smile like that before. It was nice
“How are you feeling?” He soothed, patting the back of your hair softly after scooting closer to you. You murmured a half-assed response, the shockwaves of a major headache starting. God, you were never going to drink again. “I’m alright, I think.”
Jeno huffed out a relieved chuckle, pulling the blanket over so it would cover more of your cold looking frame. He gave you another bonk to the head with his knuckles, something that helped your headache. Helped it hurt, at least.
“That’s good. Well, you passed out last night, Chenle had to take you home. And don’t worry, I didn’t tell Mom and Dad about the party. You should watch out for Hyuck, though.” Your eyes widen at Jeno’s words, ‘party’ specifically shaking you to your core. The deafening music, the soul-irking booze, the unknown faces. You hated it. Jung Sungchan pinning you down on the guest bed, closing the distance between you without your approval. You hated it. Utterly disgusted by it. All your trust, your respect for him, thrown out the window. Your mind trails back to a certain phone call, your heart now drenched in guilt.
“That Sungchan guy is a complete asshole!”
“He’s got bad motives, y/n.”
“You don’t wanna hang out with someone like him!”
Park Jisung. Your childhood neighbor. The one who was right all along, and the one you foolishly disregarded. You clenched the fabric of your shirt, your heart pulling on your weakened frame. How could you be so blind, and still have the heart to blame him? Park Jisung. Your protector, your knight. The one who truly held your heart. That last thought sent butterflies straight to your stomach. Of course, He always had that effect on you. You’ve just never believed yourself. Always brushed it aside. If Jisung could tell you the truth, so could you. You love him. You’re in love with Park Jisung.
You scrambled out of your bed, your speedy figure scaring the living shit out of Jeno. “Woah, slow down! Where are you going?”
Your eyebrows wrinkle, etched in determination. “I need to find Jisung.”
“Can’t that wait? You need to rest!”
“I need to tell him the truth.” you murmured. “My heart can’t take it anymore, Jeno.” he sent you a knowing nod, stepping aside as you rushed out the door.
Your brother did have a point, though. You shouldn’t be scrambling away like this, not with your knees about to buckle up from exhaustion. Your eyes, however, shot straight ahead, your pulse going through the roof. No more lying to yourself anymore. You race through the kitchen, not paying notice to a distraught looking Donghyuck, protecting his full cereal bowl from a fatal accident.
The grass still felt damp from the week-old rainfall as it hugged your bare feet. You raced through the sidewalk, your chest heaving as the wind pushed against you. Where was he?
The creeks of the ancient swingset didn’t fail to irk the ears of Jisung and Chenle as they sat in a comfortable silence, with a few (but very opinionated) comments thrown in by Chenle to help lighten the mood. It was the only thing Chenle could think to do, with a guilt-ridden, messed up Park Jisung at his side.
“I couldn’t protect her, Chenle.” He barely whispered, breath shaking. “I was too late.”
“You did everything you could, man. You can’t protect her all the time.”
“I wasn’t even there when she needed me most!” Jisung shouted, his voice booming as he shot up from his swing. “If I can’t do something like that, how am I gonna…” He trailed off, his figure slumping back to his swing.
“How are you gonna...what?” Chenle’s curious eyes scanned the brooding figure. His hands, fully enveloping his head, ruffling his hair in the process. If Chenle hadn’t leaned in right beside Jisung, he would’ve never caught his little一yet electrifying一confession. “...How am I gonna be her boyfriend?”
“JISUNG!” The two teenagers jolted back into reality, the sounds shallow, exhausted breaths hurling their direction as their whip in unison. Your disheveled figure一complete in its oversized t-shirt, tousled hair, and lack of proper footwear一bolts towards them. Despite the energy surging away from you, you wouldn’t rest until you reached them. As you got closer, your eyes finally locked with Jisung’s, mirroring your guilt ridden expression as he towered over you.
“Jisung, I-” You began, not sure if your shaky breath was caused by the immense amount of cardio you just did, or your rapidly thumping heart about to explode in your chest. “I’m sorry for blaming everything on you, not listening to you about Sungchan, everything. I was being stupid and selfish and一” You cut yourself off, not daring to look up at the dumbfounded Park Jisung, ear’s more red than the red scrunchie on your wrist.
“I-I need you in my life. You’re the one that keeps my life together, the one who kept me safe, ever since we were kids.”
Your eyes finally had the courage to look at him, your fingers wrinkling the hem of your shirt as you bite your lip in pure anxiety. Your heart was racing, was this what a heart attack felt like?
“I’m in love with you, Jisung.”
Jisung froze, his lips parted in utter shock. It all hit him too fast. His brain lagged behind as his hands, etched with a sense of impatience, roughly cups your cheeks, bringing them inches before his face. Eyelids fluttering shut, he molds his lips onto yours, his arms clasping around your waist in an effort to hold you close, so you never leave his life again. You reciprocate, your arms wrapping around his neck, trying your best to hide the butterflies stuck in your stomach. A sensation only Park Jisung could achieve.
The two of you finally part lips from your breath-stealing kiss, your eyes never letting each other go as vermillion stains your cheeks. Jisung quietly stuttered out his reply. Don’t get Jisung wrong, he wasn’t hesitant to answer at all. In fact, you were pretty sure you already knew his. Jisung shined a heartwarming smile.
“I love you too, y/n.”
...
“Did you really need to punch that guy that hard? I think his nose started bleeding!” Shotaro yelped, still slightly out of breath the four of you running away from the shop security.
“That asshole deserved it! He shouldn’t be flirting with my girlfriend in FRONT of me!” Jisung laid back on the playground bench, an arm hugging your waist from behind as you lazily perched next to him.
“That asshole was the cashier, and your girlfriend was paying for our drinks, dumbass.” Chenle uttered with a deadpan look. He tossed another ice cold, convenience store drink. “Tell him, y/n!”
“Chenle’s right.” You responded automatically, softly smiling to the feeling of Jisung’s arms wrapping around you in a gentle embrace, his head hiding in the crook of your neck. This boy really softened you like putty. You glance back at him, your eyes holding the stars above.
“Besides, I already have you, I don’t need anyone else.”
As you and Jisung both blissfully ignored the fake retching sounds emitting from a sarcastic Chenle, and the contrasting, supportive cheers coming from Shotaro, you sent Jisung a swift, sweet peck on the cheek. Turns out you could melt him like putty, too, judging by his embarrassed reaction. You didn’t need the questionable comments. You only needed him. Park Jisung. Your (scrawny) knight and shining armour.

De aged Deckard: You’re gonna go far, kid - Part 16
Summary: When the Shaw siblings try to break into an Eteon facility, they’re met with some unexpected consequences. Now, it’s up to Owen and Hattie to be the older siblings Deckard never had. Even if they have no idea what they’re doing
Part 15
Setting down a bowl of freshly cut watermelon, Dom looked around his backyard and nodded in satisfaction. Everything looked perfect to welcome the Shaws into the crew and hopefully be the best afternoon any kid could ask for. They had plenty of food already set up, several games around the yard, along with a sprinkler, and he could already hear all the other children clamoring in the kitchen as they all begged Mia for a piece of cake. When he had explained that they would be getting new playmate that afternoon, he had nearly laughed at the look of pure excitement and mischief in all their eyes. Especially Sam when Luke had dropped her off so he could go pick the Shaws up.
When Luke had called him up and explained the situation, Dom had been half convinced he had been still asleep and coming up with a pretty odd dream. But, no. Deckard really had been turned into a child and his siblings were bringing him to LA for help to take care of him. Which, Dom was surprised to hear that. He would have thought the Shaws would be too proud to ask anyone to help with their family, but here they were asking if they could look after one of their own. Dom only hoped Deckard wasn’t a menace like Dom suspected Owen was when he was a kid.
Thinking about the Shaws must make them appear, because in the next minute, Dom could hear a car pulling up and saw Luke’s jeep pulling up. Half smiling, Dom started to walk towards them, and before he could even say anything, he could already hear Owen.
“Does he have to show off that bloody thing?” The man complained as he hopped out of the jeep, eyeing Dom’s Charger.
“Only when you show up!” Dom called out and smirked at the glare Owen sent him. Ignoring the man’s pissy attitude, Dom instead focused on the little boy Luke was lifting out of the car. He raised an eyebrow at the dress, but didn’t question it was the boy looked around at everything was curiosity. “Not exactly how I thought we’d be meeting again.”
Deckard’s head snapped over to him and Dom’s smile dropped a bit when he saw the little boy hide behind Luke and stare at him with uncertainty.
“I’m sure that makes all of us, Toretto.” Luke chuckled. “Come here, Deck. I want to introduce you to one of our friends, Dom.”
Dom crouched down in front of Deckard when Luke brought him closer, even if Deckard still hid behind the man’s legs. The boy was truly adorable and Dom couldn’t quite put the image of the cold blooded look he saw in Deckard’s eyes as an adult to the innocent wariness this child was sending him. How did this small kid turn into a hardened man? What happened to him?
“It’s nice to meet you, Deck.” Dom smiled and was rewarded with a small wave. “Are you ready to meet some more new friends?”
The little boy looked up at Luke for what he should say.
“You know my daughter Sam I was talking about?” Deckard gave a small nod. “She’s inside with the other kids and they all can’t wait to meet you.”
Dom frowned at the almost flash of panic that crossed Deckard’s young face. Did he not want to meet more kids?
“Dad!”
Before Dom could even stop a single kid, four little bodies were rushing past his legs and straight for Luke instead. Sam immediately started to climb her dad as if he was a jungle gym while Jack jumped onto one of Luke’s arms and swung on it as if it was a monkey bar. Meanwhile, both Baby Brian and May were clinging to Luke’s legs. All the kids were talking a mile a minute as they excitedly begged Luke to play with them.
Chuckling, Dom shook his head at the kids’ antics. But, as he did so, he looked down and saw Deckard had abandoned his position behind Luke and had instead run for his brother and sister. Owen was holding him protectively and whispering something to him as the boy hid his face in his neck. As for their sister, she was standing in front of her brothers, almost as if she intended to fight off the kids if they dared come too close.
“Alright! Alright! That’s enough!” Luke laughed, carefully setting Jack and Sam back on their feet. “Calm down guys, I want to introduce you to someone. Now, where’d he go?”
“He’s here.” Owen stepped past his sister and brought Deckard closer to the kids. The little boy poked his face out just enough to see the other kids. Dom watched as Deckard’s eyes scanned over the other kids and he had to wonder why the boy was so scared. Was it the height difference?
Luke had said Deckard was roughly ten years old, meaning he was the oldest of the children, but he was still so small, Sam was several inches taller than him with Jack being the same height as him at seven years old. Dom had to wonder if maybe Deckard had been bullied while growing up and that was why he was so wary of other children. Or maybe he didn’t have much experience around other children, but that sounded wrong since he knew Deckard had a hand helping raise his siblings. So, what was it?
“Hi! Are you Deck? My dad’s talked a lot about you!” Sam piped up, excitedly stretching up onto her toes to get a better look at Deckard’s face. “I’m Sam! And this is Jack, Baby Brian, and May!”
“Hi.” Deckard’s voice was so soft, Dom wasn’t sure if he actually heard the boy or not.
“You’re going to be staying with us for a while, right?” Sam smiled brightly. “We’re going to have so much fun! Do you wanna play with us? I got a new soccer ball and I’m showing Baby Brian how to play.”
“Soccer?” Deckard looked at Owen for clarification.
“Football.” Owen chuckled.
“No!” Jack shouted. “It’s not football! It’s soccer!”
“Where Deck’s from, soccer is called football.” Dom explained and could see the four American children wrinkle their noses at the explanations of the British calling their game something else.
“Do you want to play with them, Deck?” Owen asked gently. All the adults held their breaths as they watched the little boy’s face grow thoughtful as he carefully weighed his answer. Finally, he gave a solemn nod. Without any fanfare, Owen carefully lowered Deckard to the ground and looked like he immediately regretted his choice, however, he had no time to voice that as Sam ran up to him.
“Come on!” She nearly shouted in his face and grabbed his hand. She practically dragged Deckard away with the other children following after them, throwing all sorts of questions at Deckard.
“We should keep an eye on them.” Hattie spoke up suddenly.
“They’ll be fine.” Luke told her. “Sam knows to treat Deck gently and will tell the others to do the same.”
“But Deck doesn’t know when to tell people to stop.” Owen told them, face blank as he watched Sam proudly showing Deckard her soccer ball. “Especially younger kids.”
“We’ll take turns checking in on them.” Dom told them, a note of seriousness in his voice as he met Owen and Hattie’s gazes. He wasn’t surprised in the least that they were so concerned and overprotective of Deckard. The boy wasn’t supposed to be a boy after all, and the change had to be just as bad for them as it was Deckard. “If he wants to take a step away from them, then he can. Mia will probably want to give him a haircut when she sees him, anyway.”
“As long as she doesn’t make it worse.” Owen smirked faintly.
“Only if you actually go apologize to her.” Dom couldn’t quite keep the growl out of his voice as he met the man’s eyes. He might be willing to invite Owen around, but the man still needed to do quite a bit to make up for their first meeting. He could only hope Owen was willing to make those amends, even if it was more for Deckard’s benefit than his own want to.
“As long as she doesn’t stab me.” Owen shrugged nonchalantly. “Too many people here have already done that.”
Dom blinked at the man.
“That was one time!” Hattie hissed and elbowed Owen sharply in the ribs.
“I still have the scar!”
“It was a butterknife!”
“I needed six stitches!”
Glancing over at Deckard and the kids, Dom carefully filed away not to give any of the Shaws any real silverware or anything remotely sharp. However, as he watched Deckard cheer Baby Brian on as the three year old kicked the ball, he had a feeling he would only need to implement that rule for two Shaws. Especially as he turned back and saw Luke pulling the Owen and Hattie off of each other. How were the children acting better than those two?

sufficient for thee
(a re-imagining of how Cas' grace works and how he heals people and the scars it leaves)
~ thanks to @fromcenotaphy for their hbo cas post that helped inspire some of this ~
+
"My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." --2 Corinthians 12:9
+
The first time Castiel’s grace performs the act of healing is when he has to repair Jimmy’s vessel after re-entering it. His own wounded form resembles a shredded rainbow; colors slipping off each other and flashes blind his one thousand eyes. It settles in sluggishly, sprawling out flat on the staircase of the spine. Prism streams of grace bleed out into the open cracks. One by one the physical lesions seal off, leaving him in the assurance of quiet darkness.
That’s one of the enduring traits of being on earth: darkness. It prevails even when light attempts to dominate. It is an inextricable part of mortal existence, perhaps starting from the first moments in the dark chamber of the womb.
Then he feels himself being pulled back to his feet and his eyelids snap open to be ambushed by the questioning looks of the Winchesters. To the side, the fearful yet confused gaze of the Novaks.
He cannot address either. He needs to be somewhere else, alone, to knit back the parts of his grace that Zachariah had torn asunder.
“I don’t serve you,” he tells Dean. At this moment he wishes he wasn’t serving anyone at all. Servitude is supposed to be as natural as light for a being like him; it is not supposed to sting or bruise, or send him fleeing for the comfort of mother night.
+
The metal rod slices through his vesel’s spine like butter. He glances over his shoulder to see if his grace is healing the damage before his nerves lose feeling. It’s a fraction of a second of distraction that allows Alastair to slam his hand around his throat.
Castiel flails his arms like curtains against the might of a storm. His grace is bottled up around his spine to seal the split there and there’s nothing left to fight off the tightening squeeze around his larynx.
“Omnipotentis Dei potestatem invoco,” Alastair sneers, reciting a spell that begins with “I invoke the almighty power of God.” A demon is abusing the sanctity power of Castiel’s Father to cleave his form from this earthbound vessel.
Blasphemy , Castiel wants to say, but then his grace erupts like a detonator has gone off inside his chest. Every soft strand of grace becomes a spear, stabbing into his nerves and puncturing his eyelids and ripping through his gums. The agony consumes him. He can’t even lift a finger to defend himself.
Sam’s raised palm comes into view in his peripherals.
His grace retracts, back into the recesses of his vessel, and he drops down from the rod he was rammed against. The younger Winchester towers over him, reeking of demon blood and shimmering with intensity. Castiel watches as Sam tortures and then kills Alastair and wonders if this is his Father’s will, to let that which is vile be glorified for the sake of salvation.
When Sam demands that he heal the broken body of his brother Castiel can only offer an “I can’t.” Those were not his orders. He cannot give what he has not been chosen to bestow.
+
Raphael is ghastly and glorious. He admires the extremity of his brother in the seconds before he is granulated into flecks of red, falling like rain around the flabbergasted gaze of the prophet.
+
Castiel does not remember the process of his resurrection. He recalls Raphael in thunderous thrill; then he is simply whole again and standing outside a ripe sunflower field in Cumberland, Maine.
The hem of his coat brushes against the crisp stalks. A shower of black sunflower seeds tumble out as he moves through the field, swirling like a cloud behind him
His grace stirs sleepily inside. It doesn’t feel the same way it used to; it feels diminished, like someone has scraped out half of it and left the rest for dead. He cups his hands around it, trying to rouse it from fatigue. Instead it rolls over and ignores him.
+
Bobby tells him to start healing and Castiel hesitates because he doesn’t know how.
He doesn’t need permission from his superiors anymore to perform the act. But he’s never healed anyone outside of his own vessel. Reluctant to admit his ignorance he verbalizes a refusal while thinking about how he might go about healing another. If grace is the power of his being, then perhaps anointing the grace on the injury might bring the body back to wellness.
That night he returns to the hospital room. Bobby looks frightened, surprised, and relieved to see him, in that order. The first two expressions Castiel is familiar with receiving. The third is relatively new. He’s never been around humans long enough for them to find something agreeable with his presence.
“Did ya forget your halo or somethin’?” Bobby asks, putting down the paperback novel he’s reading.
Castiel pauses to check. “No.” He lets the blade drop from his sleeve and holds it up. “I am here to heal you.”
“Wouldn’t have guessed that,” Bobby grunts, eyeing the blade like it’s a weapon intended for him.
Castiel points the tip at his own hand and draws it down, opening the flesh at the top of his index finger to the crown of the ulna bone on his wrist. Three thin tendrils of grace emerge, resplendent in milky white. The solid color surprises him. He focuses on them and recognizes the other colors blended in there, stygian blue and luminous red. His grace harbors so many unearthly hues it must simply appear as white because of the limitations of this realm.
When he approaches Bobby the older man leans away. “What,” he looks at Castiel from under bushy eyebrows. “You’re gonna anoint me with your blood?”
“It is not my blood. It is much more than that. It is the essence of my being.”
“Ain’t making me feel any better.” Bobby sighs and then closes his eyes. “Do what you gotta do then. Do I need to cross myself or somethin’?”
“Cross yourself where?” Castiel moves forward and places the open wound on one of Bobby’s legs. The grace soaks into the corduroy pant leg, leaving the fabric a shade darker than before.
He holds his hand there as the minutes tick by.
More dollops of grace fall out of the wound and still nothing happens.
A wet spot starts to form on the bed sheet below.
Castiel closes his eyes to reach for his grace and is shocked to find it skittering away, almost fearfully. He wants to pull more of it towards the opening in his hand but he can’t grab hold of it. It plasters itself to the walls of his vessel, cowardly refusing to budge forward.
“Not feelin’ any different,” comes Bobby’s commentary.

OC lore part 1 of 7 for @gear-redfield
Since I have a ton of ocs I’m gonna start off with the ones that are in different fandoms and then work my way through the fandoms I have multiple ocs for. I think I’m gonna do 5-6 HCs for them so it won’t be a mile long. The other ocs I’ll go into more details (maybe).
Riley Sanders (Metro Series)
Has three Watchers for pets, they’re her babies. But there was barely any room on the Aurora for them until they ended up getting the other rail carts. They tend to sleep anywhere they want, mostly in place where they stop people from moving around the train.
She’s not very talkative, likes to keep to herself for the most part. The people she talks with the most is Ulman, Artyom, Anna and Duke. That was until Katya and Nastya joined them.
Being able to breathe fresh air was kind of liberating for her. It made her happy that there were placing where you can live and breathe on the surface, not stuck in the dark, cold and damp metro.
Besides her and Ulman, Nastya was the first of the Aurora crew to hold their son.
Her brother wasn’t with her when that whole issue on the train occurred. He has no idea if she’s alive or not and she vice versa. She’s hoping she’ll be able to see him soon and have him meet his new nephew.
Amazing at stealth. Can sneak by a group or camp in a matter of minutes without killing anyone.
Kenadee “The Viper” Taylor (Ghost Recon)
She joined the US Army right out of high school with her high school sweetheart, Maverick. They married a year later and a year after that had their daughter Addison.
Joined Delta Force at the age of 24. That whole selection process was rigorous but very rewarding.
She has a very happy outlook on life, always bubbly. You wouldn’t think she’s apart of Delta. It throws people off every time.
Lost her husband in the field when their daughter was 5 years old. She retired after that and moved back to her hometown of San Diego where she could raise their daughter in a better environment.
Joined Nomad’s Ghosts five and a half years later. All thanks to Midas, who she met because their kids go to school together.
Carries around a knife coated in snakes venom, only uses it during interrogations.
Anja Kovic (Uncharted)
Was born to Borislav Kovic, a General Major in the Yugoslavia Ground Forces and Svetlana Kovic, a former nurse. Also the younger sister to Vladimir.
She grew up in a highly abusive household under her fathers rule. He had that mindset of the men work and the woman stay home, then add on the strictness of being in a military family.
Wanted to be a nurse growing up but those dreams got shot down when her father married her off to the war lord Zoran Lazarevic at the age of 18.
Marriage to Zoran was horrific, she was just happy he spent more time in the field than with her. His death did not sadden her whatsoever.
Lost her mother to suspicious circumstances when she was twelve. Leaving her and her older brother at the will of their father.
After Zoran’s death she was finally free. She left for Serbia in search of finding her brother and during that time gave birth to her and unfortunately Zoran’s son, naming him Dragan. And yes, she did find her brother and became the nurse she always wanted to be.
Evelyn “Evie” Hazelton (The Order 1886)
Was born to Edith Hazelton and an unnamed father in London, England on October 1st, 1860. (Her mom was a prostitute)
She lived in a brothel up until her mom’s murder. She loved it, to be surrounded with so many women that helped her through her life, gave her advice and helped molded her into the woman she is today.
Sir Percival/Malory gave her a spot on the Order after her mom’s death and she became the protege of Sir Galahad/Grayson. There she learned how to fight and shoot a gun.
The first time she ever saw a werewolf she thought it was a big dog. It was late at night, she was young and couldn’t tell since it was in the far distance.
Has a scar going down her back from being scratched by a werewolf during a fight.
Very protective of the people she cares about. She was the only person who pleaded not guilty during Grayson’s trial because she knows him. She knew he wouldn’t have worked with the rebellion if it didn’t suit a good cause.
Lydia Wilson (Call of Cthulhu)
Her parents were apart of the cult that was trying to bring back Cthulhu. However, they left Darkwater when Lydia was five and moved to Boston.
No matter how much her parents tried to make her forget the past, she didn’t. She still has memories of the cult, what the uniforms looked like, the masks. It never left her.
Started hearing the voice of the Leviathan in her dreams once she hit her late 20′s. Eventually she caught wind of what he wanted and she set sail for Darkwater, a place she hasn’t been since she was five.
Her father ran a tailoring shop and she helped a lot through her childhood.
When she spaces out she has a resting bitch face. It makes her loo unapproachable according to her mother.
The first time she saw the Shambler she though she was hallucinating. That wasn’t the case and she never wants to deal with it again.
Lily (MCU)
Born on the planet Prometheus. A planet cover in lush green grass and waterfalls.
Ever since she was a child she had this fight in her. She use to find a decent sized stick and pretend to fight a tree.
Was married to Thanos for over 20 years. The only good that came out of it were her kids.
Joined the Avengers after Thanos’ death. It was nice to be around people and strike up conversations. She just loved learning about Earth and she would talk about her home world.
She was the first owner of the scepter until it was given to Loki. That made her angry, she really loved that scepter.
The first person she befriended was Carol Danvers because her youngest daughter, Lotus really liked her.
Ashlynn Davenport (Tomb Raider)
Was born into Trinity. Her father was a sergeant in the Trinity army and her mom was a nurse.
She liked her life for the most part, loved her parents and friends, but the more she found out about Trinity and all the harm they do she wanted out. Unfortunately they didn’t happen when she was being married off to the Trinity field commander, Konstantin.
Being married to Konstantin meant moving around a lot, never really staying in one place for too long. Once the mission was done then they moved on. She didn’t mind it, not at first. She liked traveling around and seeing the world, but the stuff Trinity did put a bad taste in her mouth.
Ash can be quite manipulative when she wants to be. It was something she learned from her dad growing up.
She helped Lara take down Trinity from the inside when they were looking for the divine source. No one figured it out, all of thinking it was Lara.
Ashlynn actually loved Konstantin, she just thought his mind was corrupted by his sister and was trying to make him see what was right. So when he died she was pretty pissed and was going to say her true feeling to Ana. Unfortunately the Trinity sniper got to Ana first. Leaving her with a bunch of anger inside her.
Sawyer Monrow (TLOU)
She was 12 at the time of when the cordycepts outbreak began. Her life was pretty great as well and then over night everything changed.
Her family ended up at the Hartford QZ, where her and her younger brother went through military training (just like in Boston) to teach them how to kill infected and other humans if necessary.
Met Joel and Ellie in Pittsburgh. She was with Henry and Sam at the time and after their deaths she stayed with them and made the trek to Jackson.
She can be very standoff-ish at first glance. It’s how she acts in this apocalyptic world, more so to protect herself and because she doesn’t trust people.
Started a relationship with Joel a year and a half later. He was the first person she really let in and was happy for the few years they were together. She even considers Ellie like a little sister.
She lost her family when the Hartford QZ fell. She tried to save her brothers, but couldn’t. That still haunts her to this day.
Phaedra Alexeyev (Werewolf The Apocalypse)
She’s very good at backstabbing and manipulating people. All thanks to her former caern. A part of her hates it, but the other knows how in handy it can be.
She was born at the Shadow Lords Thunderstrike Sept, Ural Mountains, Russia. Close to the city of Chelyabinsk.
Phaedra and Cahal became a surrogate family after they both had to kill a family member.
Always the first ready to jump into the action. When there’s a fight she’s on the front lines, she’s not going to miss out. And she just likes to fight in general.
She born under a full moon making her have the Ahroun Auspices. The Full Moon makes the Ahroun the living weapon of Gaia. They are the warrior among a race of warriors, the champion of a martial people. Ever ready to kill, and to die if need be.
Her name means Bright Defender.
Emma Ross (Stargate Atlantis)
Joined the Marines to help pay for her college tuition. She surprisingly enjoyed it and continued to serve as she got her degree in science.
Lived a very mundane life growing up. Had two wonderful parents, a good upbringing, nothing exciting really happened. Which might have been the reason she joined the military.
The hardest thing she has to do is lie to her friends and family when she was transferred over to the Atlantis expedition. Being so far away from them sucks, but with the Daedalus she has more of a chance to go visit them.
As much as she’s in danger, she’s never felt more alive than being on Sheppard’s team. All the action just makes her blood pump.
Ronon calls her ‘red’ due to her being a red head. She finds it kinda funny.
She’s very friends and loves to strike up conversations whenever she can. Getting to know more people on Atlantis made living there easier.
