Soul mates are too fluffy! We all now have time stamps counting down to the moment we're going to meet the person that gets us killed, inadvertently or otherwise. Send "time's up" for my character's reaction to their timer hitting zero right as they met yours.

Dean was in a bad mood, but anyone would be. Knowing exactly when you were going to meet your murderer (or, you know, accidental killer), was something that no one should know. But they all knew. Dean turned his head away from the rest of the crowd as he made his way along slowly, but he stared down at his wrist, the whole time. There were only a few minutes. He was opening the door to work when the numbers hit zero, and the door hit a man.He stared.A bow tie?!
