I will say that with Barem specifically calling Nayuta a witch instead of a demon/devil or any other word is very interesting. Fujimoto has gone on to say that he is very specific with the wording in his works, which is why there’s not instance of Christianity being used despite some symbolism and references.

But the word “witch” was also used in Fire Punch. The Ice Witch, Sulya, who was the antagonist with a main goal of watching the last star wars movie (almost as goofy as saving the world for Pizza). Could be a reference to Fire Punch given how Nayuta is now undoubtedly a reference to Yogen no Nayuta where she was the harbinger of doom said to end the world. Even in Yogen no Nayuta, one of the few ways Kenji (her older brother) and her bonded was through food.
