I've been in a bit of slump today (the inevitable one-day depression right after I get my period) so here’s a drawing of Old Lorre being a cheeky serial killer in the Red Skelton Show

Happy Halloween! Because of Halloween, it adds a little background color to my daily work.
I guess my favorite PL character now is Johnny West. I just like the philosopher drunkard.^ ^
I would like Einstein better if he behaved darker, but he was set off like an angel by the people around him.
The role of Arthur surprised me, because I could see Peter Lorre playing such a powerful role.I like Arthur's various things very much. I like his kitten and his western gun. He has multiple responsibilities. He is more interesting than the whole movie.lol
I thought about drawing a congratulatory picture, but I really can't think of anything to draw.I feel like I've been watching horror movies for months, ever since I liked Peter Lorre.
Maybe I will draw all the cartoon images of Peter Lorre one day, and then I will print them as stickers.

I appreciate that filmmakers repeatedly find ways to attach Peter Lorre's characters very closely to characters that are noticably taller and/or ganglier than he is. Whether they have romantic tension or just seem like they're great friends/colleagues, there's a sort of bonded pair [or trio] vibe they give off that I live for.

I feel like everyone has their one PL character that they are very attached to and I dunno maybe it also says something about the person in a way. Like Felix is my go to, because he is old, and pathetic, and a meow meow, and very fuckable, and with a stable job at a place where I would feel at home (near the cemetery, because I'm a corpse). He also wouldn’t say anything about my lack of singing skills which is another added bonus.
I crave one thing and it’s disgusting, a stable loving relationship with an older man.

I am confused.
does anybody here know what "babygirl" means.? Mr Lorre said it to me earlier and if he's saying i'm a bitch he could've just said it directly instead of in "slang".

Ignore me, I wanted to draw the medical malpractice gang in 17th century Dutch clothing. In order: Dr Gogol as a surgeon from the guild of surgery, dr Lorentz as an upstanding member of the local militia (he's not allowed to be flag bearer after the… incident), dr Einstein putting the 'barber' in 'surgeon-barber' (he's holding a copper bowl in his hand that was used for washing hair as well as catching blood), and professor Fenninger looking sharp as ever

yippee! more cog ocs!
this is toady, my bossbot. my greaseball
true to his name, hes a huge sycophant. sucks up to anyone important enough to warrant it and is a massive narc on everyone else in the workplace. is at his most confident when standing slightly behind a much larger and scarier cog. generally unpleasant to work with and not very popular in his workplace
he runs a small management firm inside cogs inc (black lotus asset handling) which only employs him. but it sounds better on paper to have a business name to sign under, yknow. hes actually really good when he gets to flex his management and task distribution skills he just rarely gets a chance because hes a pain in the butt to work with
also yes he is my cartoon peter lorre expy so please imagine everything he does with the voice and mannerisms

Just watched You'll Find Out (1940). It's not helping the Peter Lorre brainrot; I'm fixated on the evil maybe-polycule now.
Look at them. Lorre clearly in charge, Karloff looking like he JUST woke up (to be fair he did, right after getting knocked out by Kay Kyser of all people), and Lugosi hurgling angrily behind them. They're arranged like nesting dolls. They're wild. They're in love. They're at a sleepover. Peter Lorre is CLEARLY in charge.
Tumblr media
This movie was wild from start to finish. Not the best, of course, but pretty fun and very corny. The second half is just a sleepover. A seance is held, college girls go wild over some rather strange band performances; two of them are very into Peter Lorre. Peter Lorre smokes like twenty cigars over the course of the movie.
There are a couple VERY questionable moments because the movie does unfortunately take place in a house full of stolen African art, so that's something to be wary of.
My main note is that it would have been better if the evil trio had a bit more screentime and Kay Kyser's musical numbers were cut just a bit, but I get why it was done.
