(ended up drawing baby red son from memory so details r inaccurate, sorry!)
when they were kids, they were inseparable. the two of them enjoyed playing games to pass the time, tag especially. they also liked planning heists (stealing sweets from the kitchen undetected), and when dragged to any fancy demon banquets they made it their mission to cause as much chaos as possible.
it wasn’t uncommon to find the two in either the library or their mother’s study. purple child was an avid reader, while red son seemed to care more for the technical aspects.
nowadays, if they want to spend time together, you’ll usually find them cooking. its a bonding activity

#anyway now lets get into the ending so IF you dont want possible spoilers for the#turning movie then pls dont read on#anyway the ending made me lose my mind like wtf happened#i unfortunately had seen on google like one of the google search results was#'how did miles die' so uh i knew but WOW this still took me by surprise and it#was shockingly upsetting to me jdhdjjdjdkfkffk like. did he have a heart attack?#WHY DID HE GO SO FERAL????? was it quints intention to kill him???#WHY WAS MILES SO UPSET? like i wouldve thought he hated the man#also it ended so suddenly like wtf happened to mrs grose and flora??#why did the story have to end with miles dying like how is that the narrative stop#did the ghosts disappear now???? or just quint bc miles was dead? or neither?#ugh that ending was so upsetting tho bc it was so hard to know if miles (and flora)#was rlly evil or not so it was like so this could be just a young innocent boy#who lost it and turned violent bc of an apparition of his abuser and then fell and#died bc of heart failure like???? how am i to know???
