honestly i just haven't been happy with anything i've been drawing so only stuff i've done are studies because i want to improve but idk. i feel really self critical. yk how it is being an artist, never feeling happy with your skill level :p i'm working on it though, got pretty into traditional painting for a change? idk i'm trying new stuff to find inspiration. hopefully more art SOON (for sure this time) (idk if i can promise that)

okok health update:

been very very stressed out, basically. got bad again, getting better again?¿? got more help though, so i should be getting therapy maaaybe and help getting back into school, not sure, trying to make something work out. not looking at my phone has been helping

in other news; fall is awesome, love halloween !! birthday is coming up aswell, which is pretty cool 👍👍👍 been hanging out with friends again, which is very nice too. uuuhhhhh the silent hill 2 remake finally came out!!! and it's actually good!!! like really good!!! life has meaning again!!!!

you missed him oh so much. you think he deserves nothing more than to relax. hearing your boyfriend come through your front door. “im home babe.” he calls out seeing you come to greet him.

“finally i missed you.” you say pulling him into a sweet kiss. “you have no idea.” he sighs taking off his shoes. kissing you again. “how was work? how was practice?” he sighed a little at the topic of the activities.

“work was good. practice was fine. tiring as always. im so happy its over now. i need to rest.” you nod smiling as you feel him pull you into a hug. “why don’t i help you relieve some stress jungwoo?”

biggest baby in the entire Devildom when it gets cold

he has this super tacky fur coat that he insists is real rabbit fur (it’s faux—the big softy couldn’t bear real fur)

refuses to leave the house, even if he has to work

worse than that: he refuses to let you leave the house, even if you have things to do

“hey, human. where d’ya think you’re going? it’s cold out there. you’ll get sick, or worse, dead!”

invites you to his room cause he has this ‘super awesome heater’ (read: himself)

you end up lounging on the couch with him and watching movies with excruciatingly long car chases

you start shivering despite the sweater you’re wearing, and Mammon not so begrudgingly beckons you over to come sit under the blanket with him

honestly he forgets how to breathe because you’re so close and you smell nice and you’re relying on him for warmth

at some point it gets colder and you start shivering again

goes to grab another blanket but you stop him, looking up at him with those pleading eyes

pretends to be humble about it but inside he is screaming

his place is always the perfect temperature and the perfect place to take refuge in a blizzard

he pretends like he’s annoyed when you come into his room, dressed in warm clothes and fuzzy socks, a blanket draped over your shoulders

but really he doesn’t mind—he actually has to hide his rosy cheeks with you because he’s so flustered at the idea that you chose him

orders an insane amount of comfort food to eat during your anime marathon

like heaps and heaps of food that the two of you couldn’t possibly finish

offers you to share his blanket with him, wrapping it around the two of you to keep warm while you munch on food

somehow it turns into you leaning your head on his shoulder, eyelids getting heavy in the warmth of his room

Levi can’t even be annoyed that you’re missing episodes of the anime—you look so cute like this

HATES the cold, LOVES the snow

honestly indifferent to the cold

he’s just built differently 

he’s not the biggest fan of it, but he’s not as much of a baby as some of his older brothers 

still, he doesn’t quite like the idea of you going out in the cold (at least, not without proper protection)

offers to get anything you need, but if you insist on going out, he’ll come with you 

and of course he bundles you up first 

has you dressed in one of his sweaters with one of his old winter jackets over top

you look tiny in his big clothes 

when you get home after he’ll make you stand in front of the heater to warm up while he disappears into the kitchen 

of course he’s going into the kitchen 

but you’re pleasantly surprised when he comes back with two steaming bowls of chicken noodle soup

you guys eat and watch a movie in the living room, Beel asking you every five minutes if you’re cold 

you take another one of his sweaters just to get him to stop bothering you about it  

insists on feeding you every hour and piling snacks on the coffee table 

“don’t give me that look. you need food to stay warm, y/n.”

Belphie:

hates blizzards because they interrupt his sleep 

he can usually sleep through anything—from sunny days to volcanic eruptions

but the cold??? no way

his bed gets cold and even his thickest, softest blankets don’t help 

but…maybe a certain warm human could help his sleep 

ends up crawling into bed with you in the middle of the night, hardly making a sound 

you only wake when you feel the bitter cold on your body slowly fading away, a new warmth pressed against you

you’re not even phased by Belphie sneaking into bed with you at this point 

and the warmth is honestly really nice

with the excuse he’s just ‘keeping warm’, of course

okok obx4 part 2 spoilers !!!! like major so don’t read this until after you’ve finished or are okay with spoilers but it won’t make sense for you i don’t think.

i need to rant here bc no one i know has finished it.

i feel like this season , despite having some amazing moments, was just a bit lacklustre in a lot of areas. the relationships seems off and i feel like there was a massive disconnect between part 1 and 2. im going to go into more detail below.

so the things i really enjoyed:

- episode 6 had some of the best cinematography i’ve seen in a tv show in fucking ages! they way they included everyone’s reactions in the court scene whilst still focusing on jj was incredible. and then the scenes following that where the riot took place was so amazingly done i loved it

- i LOVED that we finally got to see jj actually let loose the way they described him in all the previous seasons. like we’ve obviously seen him act out and let loose but the raw emotions that jj produced was insane. he went full loose cannon and i for one fucking loved it.

- i really did appreciate the rafe and sarah reunion and i enjoyed seeing rafes character development (at the hands of sofia might i add). to see how she was the only one bringing him food on the boat and the small smiles they shared before the actual reunion, like when her and jb told pope and cleo about their pregnancy and she smiled at rafe. loved it.

- knowing that kie and her parents are at least on speaking terms made me really happy! and seeing her dad stand up for jj with the cops made my heart smile. they could finally see that just bc they might not like kies friends does not mean they aren’t amazing people that have so much care and love for each other.

- i am intrigued to see how they all deal with their grief and how the revenge plot pans out. i think there is going to be some emotional turmoil between jb and kie bc i have the feeling that jb holds kie partly accountable for jj’s death and i’m interested to see how they work through that.

okok now onto my anger with this season bc there’s a lot of it…

- we will start with the obvious here… jj. look i know there is so much speculation and assumptions surrounding rudy leaving or being written off the show and i’m not going to comment on that for the most part bc we will never know the truth. BUT i do think they didnt handle it the best either way. jj hated being alone and for the pouges to bury him in the desert… idk doesnt feel right. (yes ik logistically how could they bring him back to the obx? idk they have done more fucked up shit)

- the disconnect between part 1 and 2 was STRONG for me at least. it just felt really separated and like we just got over some major plot points in the characters between the two. like jj was having a major identity crisis and then we just kinda moved on. and i know is a pretty fast paced show especially with the amount of moving around they do but like huh?

- (this is a big one for me so strap in) THE RELATIONSHIPS OMG! they felt so off this season as a whole. and i don’t just mean romantically. i know it was to kinda set up jj’s death but the way all of the pogues had this significant drift between them and jj just felt odd and not like them. romantically speaking, jiara was lacking majorly. you’re telling me they had barely any physical interaction but they are meant to be together? it just didn’t feel right. if you’re with someone, especially someone you’ve known for as long as they’ve known each other, even with being less physical people, you’re going to hug and kiss and hold on to that person when they are dying or injured or even just going through everything jj was. didn’t like it. wanted more jiara scenes ( especially seeing them alone and how they interact when it’s just them. THE PREGNANCY TROPE? REALLY? after sarah was so visibly uncomfortable when jb brought it up previously… and i know it’s common when you lose a character you fill it with someone else but like what the fuck. it’s rushed and it’s so cliché. and it’s predictable. even without jj making that comment about naming their kid jj, it’s obvious they are going to honour him with that. cleo and pope are gorgeous and amazing and i love them. my only complaint is i want more cleo. she’s too stunning to not have more screen time. I WANT CLEO BACKSTORY IN DETAIL PLEASE.

- despite the feature episode and the part 2 episode being longer it still felt kinda rushed and like they were just skimming over things quickly. like i wanted some dialogue between jj and gr**f about luke and the abuse jj experienced but oh well ig. (i’m upset)

anyway, im kinda bummed with this whole season. i will watch season 5 but i’m not going to be anywhere near as excited. jj was such an integral part of the show for everyone but for me he really tied things together. the interactions all of the pogues had with him really made it so enjoyable and kept the lighthearted, teenager thing alive for me. like without him it’s gonna be hard to remember that they are still young adults that just want to have fun and live their lives to the fullest.

You couldn’t help but grin, staring at the ceiling as you imagined the evening ahead. You’d get to see Eddie in action, which was something you’d been curious about since he first mentioned his band. And the movie night was just an added bonus. The mix of excitement and nerves fluttered in your stomach.

The rest of the day passed in a blur of anticipation. You caught Brit up to speed and she shared her excitement, you both agreed to meet up tomorrow. After chatting you tried to get some work done but, your mind kept drifting back to Eddie. What would his band’s practice be like? What would they sound like? And, of course, what would it be like to watch a movie with him afterward?

When evening finally rolled around, you found yourself digging through your closet for the perfect outfit. It wasn’t a date just a hangout, but you still wanted to look nice. After several outfit changes, you settled on a casual yet cute look that you hoped struck the right balance between “I’m chill” and “I put in some effort.” Again, not a date.

As you made your way to the band’s practice space, which was located in a building on the edge of campus, you couldn’t help but feel a little jittery. When you arrived, you took a deep breath before heading inside. The building had an old, worn-out charm to it, with posters and flyers about local bands plastered on the walls.

You found Eddie waiting for you in the lobby, his face lighting up when he saw you. “Hey! Glad you could make it,” he said, his warm smile making your heart skip a beat. So hot.

“Hey! Thanks for inviting me,” you replied, trying to sound casual. “I’m so excited.”

“Hell yeah, I’m glad”. He led you through a narrow hallway to a door marked “Practice Room 3.” Next to it was a paper stuck to the door saying ‘Corroded Coffin in session’. As he opened it, you were hit with a burst of sound—drums, guitars, and a bass creating a lively, energetic atmosphere. The band was already in the middle of a song, and you couldn’t help but be impressed by their talent.

Eddie gestured to a couple of folding chairs set up along one side of the room. “Make yourself comfortable. These are the guys I’m always telling you about. This is Jake, our guitarist; Sarah, our drummer; and Max, who plays bass. Everyone say hi!” He shouted a bit over the noise as some paused and greeted while others gave a nod.

You took a seat and watched, captivated, as Eddie’s band began to play. The music was fantastic—lively and full of energy, and Eddie was clearly in his element. The way he played with such passion made you admire him even more. I always wanted to see his band, to see him play but didn’t want to bother him. God, this is amazing.

After their set, Eddie came over to you, sweaty but smiling broadly. “So, what did you think?”

“It was awesome!” you exclaimed. “You guys are really good.”

“Thanks! That means a lot,” Eddie said, looking at you with such softness it makes your heart melt.

The band members joined the conversation, and you talked to them about their music and upcoming gigs. They were all friendly and you could tell why Eddie enjoyed being part of their group.

As you and Eddie finished loading the last of the equipment into his van, you both became more comfortable and the energy was evident. The heavy lifting was done, and Eddie turned to you with a grin. “I told you, you don’t have to carry anything heavy. I wouldn’t want you to hurt yourself.”

“Oh, please,” you said with a playful eye-roll. “I’m more than capable of handling a couple of amp cases. But I appreciate the chivalry.”

Eddie chuckled. “Well, I wouldn’t want you to miss out on a chance to admire my biceps. They’re a crucial part of the show.”

You laughed, shaking your head. “I’ll take your word for it. Though I have to say, the band’s performance was impressive enough to make up for it.”

He looked genuinely pleased. “Why, thank you! We work hard, so it’s nice to hear that. By the way, if you ever want to join us for practice or a gig, you’re always welcome. It’s cool to have someone there who’s genuinely interested.” Fuck yes!! Can’t wait to see more bicep action.

“I’d love that,” you replied. “It’s been really fun getting to see you in action. And hey, maybe one day I’ll even get to hear some behind-the-scenes band drama.”

Eddie raised an eyebrow with mock seriousness. “Oh, you’re in for it then. We have plenty of drama. You just have to promise not to tell anyone about Jake’s obsession with perfecting his guitar solos.”

“I’ll keep the secrets,” you promised with a grin. “On one condition—you have to let me bring popcorn to the next practice.”

“Deal,” Eddie said, extending a hand to shake on it. “You drive a hard bargain, but it’s worth it.”

After securing everything in the van, Eddie suggested grabbing late-night dinner. “There’s a great 24-hour diner not far from here. How about we head there for some food and then watch that movie?”

You agreed, and the two of you made your way to the diner. The neon lights of the place created a warm, nostalgic glow as you walked in. It was cozy and filled with a mix of students and locals, creating a relaxed atmosphere.

As you both settled into a booth, Eddie immediately started teasing you about your movie choices. “So, what’s your go-to movie snack? I’m guessing you’re a popcorn fanatic.”

“Oh, absolutely,” you said with a mock-serious expression. “But I’m not picky. I also appreciate a good nacho or candy combo. I’m a firm believer that variety is key although nothing beats the buttery goodness of popcorn.”

Eddie raised an eyebrow. “A connoisseur of movie snacks, then. Impressive. I might have to up my game if I want to keep up with your standards.” You both smile at each other.

Eddie’s grin widened as he leaned back in his seat, clearly enjoying the playful banter. “You know, I’m really glad to see you letting loose like this,” he said, his tone sincere and warm. “I always felt like there was more to you than what you let on, and it’s awesome to see this side of you.”

You glanced at him, feeling a rush of warmth from his words. “I appreciate that. I’ve always been a bit shy about showing this side of myself. But I have to admit, it’s easier when I’m around people I feel comfortable with.”

Eddie nodded, his eyes softening. “I get that. And I’m really glad you’re feeling comfortable. You’ve got this cool energy about you, and it’s great to see it come out. I’ve always thought you were interesting, but it’s nice to see you in a more relaxed setting.”

You blushed slightly, feeling a bit self-conscious but pleased by his compliment. “Well, I guess you’ve got a knack for making people feel at ease. It’s been really nice hanging out with you, both last night and tonight. I know we only hang out with the group but still. It is nice.” It's nice to finally have some one on one.

Eddie’s expression turned thoughtful as he took a sip of his soda. “I agree… you know, sometimes it’s hard to tell what people are really like beneath the surface. I mean, I knew you were cool, but seeing you interact and be yourself is refreshing. It’s like getting to know a whole new side of you.”

You chuckled, feeling a mix of gratitude and amusement. “I guess I’ve always been more comfortable in the background. It’s easier to observe than to be the center of attention.”

“That makes sense,” Eddie said, his gaze fixed on you with genuine interest. “But I’m really glad you’re coming out of your shell.”

This could ultimately go three ways—the surviving sibling eventually patches up with her and becomes her favorite sibling/or at least on equal grounds with the dead sibling (good ending), the surviving sibling goes off the rails as the realization that their baby sister no longer loves them (and maybe never did love them) the way they always thought she would (kinda bad ending bc I can see Andrew resigning himself to this, maybe thinking this is what he deserves, but for Ashley, this is another slap to the face because once again, not even her own little sister puts her first), or little sis reader eventually can't take it and kills herself (bad ending for sure bc I don't think Ashley or Andrew will be sticking around for long after that.)

starting off with team obsidian (explorers of sky)

Mistral is. complicated. for starters i have played as her in rescue team, explorers, And super because at the time they were kinda just. me. less of an oc and more just my self insert (i actually changed their name because her old name is. just my name now)

but lately i've wanted her to be her own character and not me in totodile form so i'm kinda in the process of redoing everything about them.

Cinder i can say more about! they are a disaster. an absolute mess. sopping wet kitten born in a cardboard box all alone. she's wanted to be an explorer since she was little, but being a huge coward kinda got in the way of that. they got that scar on their chest when they went into a dungeon alone and it scared them away from exploring for a long time. it wasn't until she met mistral that she started to get her confidence back and they're much calmer and less afraid of everything nowadays!

now rescue team. i played as mistral again in my first pmddx playthough along with a cubone partner but. i have kinda replaced them as my Main pmd1 team with these guys. oops.

campfire are much more developed characters anyways so im gonna talk about them!

fig (she/any) is very quiet, as are basically all of my heroes because my selectively mute ass keeps latching onto silent protagonists. she's definitely the one i've given the not talking trait to the most though. chive is extremely extroverted and chatty so she handles all the talking. others tend to see them as closed off or mysterious because they can't get a good read on her. they're really sweet though

chive's main gimmick is she likes cooking! will probably settle down and open a little cafe once she's done with the rescue team business. likes to experiment with random berries and nuts she finds (fig keeps joking she's going to poison herself, but she owns like 3 different foraging guides, she knows what she's doing.)

next is team hydra! their ref is old and i need to redo it so here's one of my heropartnerweek pieces badly cropped. their names are Ceru (she/xe) and Olivine (he/they)

it turns out i lied when i said all my heroes are quiet ceru is actually pretty outgoing. still the more introverted of the duo but mainly because olivine is a people pleaser extraordinaire. she actually had a pretty boring life as a human and is a lot happier as a pokemon. she was Devastated about returning to the human world, mostly because xe didn't want to leave xyr friends, partially because oh come on it's so much cooler here i don't wanna go back to working retail

olivine, as i said, is a people pleaser, often to his detriment. he's always prioritizing other pokemon's happiness, even when it's at the cost of his own. they get better at this over time (ceru helps him a lot with learning to say No). he and ceru are inseparable besties. they're like a comedy duo. 2 things have olivine's undying commitment, his friends and The Bit

finally. super. again i already talked about mistral so here is Basil.

honestly? i feel like they don't have much of my own spin. pmsd partner is already a perfect character. they are so full of love. they love making others smile and they're maybe a little too enthusiastic about it. they tend to come off as overly friendly at best or annoying at worst. before meeting mistral they were pretty lonely despite trying so hard to make friends. they're very happy to finally have a real close friend who likes them how they are

okok great god grove thoughts ive beaten the game now

god damn! first game i've beaten this year and i've found peak already. every game i play after will be worse /j seriously i really enjoyed it, i knew i'd like it i mean i loved smile for me, but wow! this game made me change my profile picture!

but anyway. i'm not great at explainin my feelings about things. but this game made me really really happy when i've been kinda feeling Shit and Ass lately. the message about connection really struck me hard as someone who's always struggled to connect with people myself..but people will listen if i try! i hope!

i think its more of that kadoc is the one with 'icks' than guda haha. since guda to me is just literally good at handling their relationships that any existent 'icks' they may have (if there ever is, which is probably rare? they def have come dislikes of their own as a person... but if its towards others, they will always over come some of their own feelings-) is set aside for the sake of reaching a hand out and offering to be by someones side, or asking for their strength or understanding the adversary in front of them.

human order skewered guda's perception of what to complain about too considering the sheer amount of times they always push themselves to go back to battle and lie to medical staff, the self blame, doubt, and etc. so even if they have that right to complain after all thats been said and done, they still wouldnt too as its their nature to hold onto love and be accepting of a person.

kadoc has shown that he understands guda as well so his 'icks' at best are from normal ass stuff during/post traum. i think i remember someone said that the best way to describe kadoc is basically just guda but grew up in the clock tower and forced to survive there. its just that much difference.

sudden angsty idea for icks(?) is that kadoc's will to live is different from guda's own so it would make for an interesting scene if kadoc, spurred by anastasia's words to continue living, calls out guda, whose concept of death is shattered and thus even as they're still wanting to live and continue their heart is just so irreversibly 'like that' that it becomes noticeable to the 'Senpai'

Definitely this one. I used to have a no sad endings policy and this is the first thing i've ever written that's broken that!

Hmm probably setting descriptions? i get a lot of compliments for the capri scenes in if i had words. sometimes i write decent smut but i dont consider it to be reliably something im good at, it can be hit or miss

What are your writing weaknesses?

planning, outlining, anything like that. there are many cases of me writing 90% of a fic and then taking a million years to post the final chapter because i'm not quite sure how everything is tied together at the end. usually i write 20%, stop and make an outline and then write the rest, but the outline for the ending is always so vague that it just doesn't really work out and it takes way more brain power than it needs to. i am aware of this. unfortunately i will probably never change.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

this is such a good question okok so it depends a little? say its charles' pov and theyre speaking french. i usually just put it in english but indicate theyre speaking french because the reader knows as much as the pov does. but if someones speaking dutch i usually just say "x said something in dutch" because he doesnt understand it so neither does the reader. sometimes i put the actual dutch if doing it the other way would break the flow of it, but i dont provide translations unless its something that charles would understand

Heeeyyyy Hydra! How ya feelin after floor 2 dropped?

hiii !!!! this is gonna be a long rant

okok after several playthroughs and gave up n just ended up watching kreekcraft beat it, i got a Lot of thoughts

floor 2 is DEFINITELY difficult but there's no surprise there. the only nitpick i have is the stark difference with the hotel - as in, in the hotel there are a lot of rooms to breathe, like take a quick breather between the chaos that can happen throughout the hotel.

in the mines, there's hardly room to breathe - screech constantly spawns which is def annoying and i feel they should balance it a bit more; there's waayyy less safe rooms (i.e. infirmary, curious' room etc.) and it sorta feels like the backdoor in terms of you need to leave every room like quickly.

i definitely love the update !! i like the new entities, though keep in mind i havent gone past door 50 so im not sure about the halfway point/ending. the new mechanics are nice, i just think there's room for balancing since yes the difficulty is insane.

i think the devs really outdid themselves and red talked about them revamping their whole system and engine(?) so future updates shouldn't take as long as this one

guiding and curious getting new death screens, it really does feel more personal that these otherworldly beings are speaking to us personally rather than just floating text on a rainy texture. hiii guiding hiii curious :3 :3

hide getting a redesign + new mechanic was something i was not expecting - i thought that odd red entity that was leaked a while ago was a new entity but apparently not. the heartbeat minigame was a cool twist, definitely had to readjust to the new mechanic. getting ambush in the early doors was Not it as an introduction to it though, seeing as you can no longer jump in and out (despite guiding telling me to, unless im doing something wrong) and have to do a minigame that gets more and more difficult the longer you stay in. could be that you have to get out before hide spawns to get back in but idk.

i just didnt like the fact that hide spawns Instantly in later rooms, or that it also happens in the hotel. i'd rather keep the timed closet than the minigame in the hotel tbh, and just make it seem like an enraged version of hide in the mines.

i reaallyyy love eyes new mechanic - it teleporting around instead of just staying in one spot? love that. also the sound it makes is so satisfying.you're doing great sweeties

screech is like. Super annoying. like i get that its his whole thing but theres a slight difference between bearable annoying and frustrating annoying. i think screech spawns waaayy too often especially with a screech and eyes combo. definitely should lower the spawn rate if they want screech to constantly be a threat throughout the mines and not like it only spawns in dark rooms in the hotel.

i loovee what they've done with halt's new hallway. the hotel one especially, its fucking sick and probably one of my favourite rooms. the mines' one is alright, i dont like the meanders but i guess its a switch up to the linear one in the previous floor. i love u halt keep doing what ur doing

the new seek chase was absolutely amazing, i cant believe we can Jump now. new music is banger, lsplash drop the spotify release NEOOWW . only nitpick is the rng of having to crouch right before an intersection, so you cant see where guiding is trying to lead you before its too late. probably a skill issue on me, but so far i havent beat seek chase yet.

next ramblings are gonna be based on kreekcraft's playthrough since i never got past door 50.

new environment in a sewer-like area is pretty cool, nice switchup tbh

ok the grumble entity is Hella cool. bigger giggle, could be like the mother of a hivemind. whatever it is its pretty cool. again, haven't played through it so idk how to counter grumble other than Hide. can you maybe lure it away somewhere? idk. tbh its giving that final bendy boss in dark revival

the whole 'locate the transponder(?) and enter a code then come back' is cool but definitely drags on for WAYY too long even for its size. library probably takes a third of the time it takes to beat this one. though i do like how the main transponder points to where it is.

ok the ending is Absolutely insane. another seek chase sure, in the new environment. then once you go in 100 (or rather, 200), he fills up the Whole place. like jesus christ seek what is your problem. the parkour looks like it feels a bit janky but that's probably a roblox thing. seek can be worm. silly worm. would you still love me if i was a w

the ending ENDING. my god. literally my jaw was open the whole time. leaving through a pipe into the outside, seeing a motherfucking CASTLE???? a CASTLE. dude. WHAT. hotel>mines>castle is a crazy pipeline.

and grumble comes out of the path behind you but not until SEEK shows up and practically suffocates him. i actually think screeches are just giggles. i have a theory. i wnot go into it in this post. BUT I HAVE A THEORY. CALL ME MATPAT.

and once the door closes seek stares you DOWN. definitely gives the main antagonist vibes unlike figure. also what happened to figure is he just stuck in the mines. seek's following us ig.

oh i forgot about figure tbh. sometimes its sections are a bit janky but i think? i think its cus im always in the section where gloombats spawn beforehand, and figure does NOT like the gloombats. also alarm clocks in the hotel's library, its so funny seeing figure run to it, stomp on it and scream. you fucking toddler/aff

overall i feel like the main issue with this floor is difficulty and also how every room feels like it drags onn. like waayyy too long. but overall, cool update, will be playing a lot more later. i Need to beat this damn floor. literally less than 800 people have beaten it.

1.) What is Magnifico and Amaya going to be like in your story?

I'm still trying to figure out what their personalities would be like, since it KEEPS CHANGING WHENEVER I FINALLY DECIDE ON WHAT THEY WOULD BE LIKE IT'S LIKE THESE TWO DOESN'T WANT TO BE WRITTEN WHAT KIND OF SORCERY IS THIS--

I mean, I have an IDEA on how I want them to be like, but for some reason, I don't know how to put it to words.

I HAVE THE PUZZLE PIECES I JUST GOTTA FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT FIT TRUST ME.

But they're definitely this AU's main antagonists.

2.) Why is Orion helping Asha? Did she wish on him?

They both have the same goal of taking down the royal couple, Orion mainly wants to prevent them from shooting down and capturing stars and turning them into [redacted]. Asha wants to retrieve the wishes that Magnifico has collected from the citizens of Rosas and return it back to them and help them achieve their dreams without relying on magic to make it come true.

Well, That's their main motivations at least. (unless i change my mind and change their main motivations or something-)

3.) What's her owl's name? (I saw you mention something about an owl sooooooo)

Chará. It means Joy in Greek! Asha named her that because Chará always brings her joy whenever she feels down.

He manifested an ability to tell when someone is lying after someone deceived him and it led to people getting hurt and maybe killed

He harbors hate for Magnifico and Amaya due to events that happened there

They were totally not entirely trusting of each other at first. Especially Orion, with Asha being the Royal couple's ward he was waiting for the other shoe drop and for her to reveal that she was working for Magnifico the whole time and now he's gonna end up as the rest of them-

ANYWAYS-

Asha, while sort of cautious of Orion at first, definitely noticed that he acts like he's not bothered by the fact that she's the royal couple's ward but she knows that Orion always casts suspicious glances towards her whenever he thinks that she wouldn't notice.

She tries her best to not make him uncomfortable because of that, and Orion notices and secretly appreciates it.

After some misunderstandings, getting to know each other and some near death experiences they'd have some sort of ride or die relationship with each other.

6.) Does Asha have any friends, or is she alone?

She only had Chará as her friend after finding her injured and tended to her until she got better, she pleaded for Amaya to let her keep the owl and Amaya reluctantly agreed, as long as Asha takes full responsibility for the owl herself.

As the story goes on though she eventually befriends Flazino first (due to some Orion shenanigans and then Flazino almost getting kidnapped and Orion kidnaps him before he gets kidnapped) and then eventually working their way to befriending the seven teens due to Flazino being acquaintances with them.

I actually have some of Flazino's interactions with Asha and Orion written in my notes here:

Orion: You have been kidnapped for your own protection! Your boss is evil by the way.

Flazino: No shit- WHAT?!

She does, but she struggles with it. Magnifico is often disappointed with her for not being able to keep up with him.

Magnifico just has a natural talent for magic and he sucks at teaching other people so she shouldn't be upset. nope she beats herself for not being better

Her strength actually lies in potionmaking, she takes after Amaya more than Maggy. she was first (and still is) Amaya's apprentice in Alchemy before she is Magnifico's student in sorcery.

But it doesn't mean she didn't learn a few magic tricks though.

8.) How do Maggy and Amaya treat Asha? Is it good? Is it bad??

Maggy isn't really fond of Asha. He took her on as his student due to Amaya's request as she wants Asha to have some experience with it. But Asha can't keep up with him in sorcery as he has a natural talent with magic and she...just doesn't. He looks down on her for it as a result.

Well, at least she's useful when it comes to castle duties like managing the palace budget and overseeing trade. (Hey idk what a princesses's job is inside a castle, do they just sit around inside or...?)

Amaya took on Asha as her little apprentice when the girl was young, she saw the kid wander inside her study and create a potion without blowing something up on the first attempt and figured she has potential and it might be good to have a little helper. Asha's mother, the royal seamstress Sakina, saw no harm in it and allowed Asha to be Amaya's helper.

And cue Asha's parents dying

So when those two died, Amaya adopted Asha as the child had no other relatives, at least from what Asha remembers. Asha would drown herself in her duties to force herself to forget and not think about the loss of her parents, isolating herself from the outside world.

Amaya does care for Asha, but if there comes a time that she would have to choose between Magnifico and Asha...well...

Let's just say there will be heartbreak.

9.) Stupid and random ass question, butttt how would Hiccup and Orion get along (that is, if you like the movies/show). If you dunno, then how would he get along with Nimona or Jack Frost?

It pains me to say that i haven't watched Nimona...YET. But Orion would probably have a shapeshifting battle with them or something

13.) Why does Mag take wishes? Is Amaya on his side?

Yep he still does, When he became king, he made a rule that when they come of age, every citizen of Rosas must give their wish to him if they want to live there. His reasons is that its to prevent the tragedy that happened to his father, the previous king and his brother, Prince Philip that involved a Star and a wish, it was said that the Star took the prince's life to consume his wish to become more powerful and the previous king died protecting the prince.

He actually uses Wishes to trick stars to coming into Rosas.

You see in my au, whenever someone on earth makes a wish, when a star hears it, it's like LITERAL MUSIC to their ears (that is, if they even have ears but you get the point). And there's a difference between a real person making a wish and Magnifico using a wish to trick stars. Fake wishes by Magnifico sounds a bit distorted and it's like there's some off keys about it, like hitting a wrong note when playing music on a piano. Younger stars are more prone to being tricked due to not being able the difference due to inexperience.

So Magnifico uses the wishes to trick stars to think that someone in Rosas is having a disney princess "i wish" moment and they go down there to assist the wishmaker in pursuing their wish.

But unfortunately for Maggy, a meddling star always intervenes whenever a star does get tricked and comes down to Rosas. The star that gets tricked gets dragged back to space by the meddling star and gets lectured for not listening to warnings. Magnifico also ends up getting burned and some of his belongings on fire because of this guy.

Yes Amaya is in on it, they're partners in crime :)

Just an Aegean cat, though don't underestimate the little guy, Charo has probably clawed out a man's eyeball at some point.

Charo and Chará don't really like each other.

Whenever they're alone with each other they would often get into a fight. Lots of scratching and hissing and aggressive hooing.

Don't have your Starboys use magic to allow them to be able to talk, there would be lots of screaming and arguing and threats and the occasional profanity with those two. Orion is already traumatized.

She'd wonder if Magnifico cloned her or something. Honestly, why is she not surprised she should've expected that he would get rid of her one day. Then she'd try to find a way to send her back where she came from.

At first i named it Shoot for the Stars, but Flicker recently pointed out that it sounds a bit too similar to their Reach for the Stars AU and it might cause confusion, but they suggested the title Shooting Stars instead. Which is a wonderful name and so it's called Shooting Stars now!

The title (whether its the old or new one) references Starboy's name having a relation to archery, how my au Magnifico literally tries to shoot down stars, how my Starboy uses the archery skill he's known for to protect the stars that Magnifico is trying to shoot down and capture.

Lots of Medieval themed dresses for Asha, there was so much saved on my phone that it already has low storage D':

But i settled with a mix of these three outfits instead:

To add onto the Rose theme i gave her a Rose choker.

I also gave some Thorny vine designs that would be seen on her dress.

The idea was to give her some sort of Thorny Rose vibe. It's not just her that has a thorny vine design on her, citizens under the Royal couple's rule has a thorny vines design on their attires. Anyone who opposes or has doubts or doesn't like the royal couple does NOT have this design, it would just be normal vines with leaves on it.

To finally finish off the Thorny Rose vibe of Asha, I (Magnifico actually) gave her a crown made of thorny vines that has a rose on the middle.

Imagine this, but it's made of vines with thorns on it and a Rose on the middle.

For Orion, his outfit is a mix of Prince Florian and Prince Charming's outfit.

Here's also some fun facts about his design!

There are three diamonds in his belt, it actually references the asterism called Orion's belt found in the Constellation Orion! (It's a silly little detail that i thought would be fun to share)

His main outfit colors consists of Dark colors (Blue and Black) to symbolize how he blends in the night sky, unnoticed so no one can wish on him. And some gold colors too but it doesn't really dominate his outfit.

Used a fur collar for a "Hunter" vibe (at least that's what my notes were telling me while i was looking through his old designs idk wth past me was talking about)

His outfit should not have too many layers, as it would hinder him using his Bow whenever he's trying to shoot something. But i still wanted to give some sort of princey vibe for reasons, and so his current design was born.

He can turn his cape intangible whenever he desires so it won't hinder him whenever he's trying to aim for something. But he can't turn it intangible for long periods of time.

He has a Star brooch on the middle of his fur collar thingy, it's default look is the one on the left. But whenever he uses magic it changes to the star on the right.

20.) Do you have the Maggy and Amaya designs, or are you still exploring that?

Not yet, but i do already have ideas on what i should give them.

Maggy would have a collar like the Evil Queen, but a bit more smaller.

And with Amaya, I'm debating whether i should give her braided hair or short wavy hair

Asha is the only human that knows Orion exists in the early parts of the story.

Rosas though is scared of another Star named Apollo, it is told that the Star killed the previous King of Rosas and his younger son, Philip. (Which is Magnifico's dad and younger brother)

Magnifico doesn't know who tf this Orion guy is. He hates this star named Apollo though.
