nobody asked and idk anyone who is still reading for haikyuu (much less osaaka and atsusuna with me 😭) but I still like this bit from an old soulmates WIP that I want to share a bit of bc I'm so inspired by writing this one these days!!

“What?” Atsumu asks, a bit of panic making its way into his throat. “Who the fuck is it, Samu?”  Osamu doesn’t answer, eyes still stuck on the name written across Atsumu’s shoulder. Atsumu grabs the hand mirror perched on the counter and maneuvers himself to see his back in the larger bathroom mirror with it. At first, it’s too far away, looks like a scribble. Then he leans in closer and the scribble takes shape. Suna.  What? Atsumu looks again.  Suna.  “What?” Atsumu asks aloud, pure confusion in his voice. “How can he be both our soulmates?”  That seems to shock Osamu out of the daze he’s been in. Atsumu watches as Osamu snatches the hand mirror from him, taking his spot at the counter and peering at his own shoulder. Atsumu tries to read the name written there, but can only make out a few letters. It's a noticeably longer one. He reaches out to touch the name there, almost in an effort to make sure it’s real.
