Suna knew what he was getting into when he started dating, he really did. Having known each other since highschool he’d imagine he’d know everything he needed to know. What he didn’t know though was how extreme his boyfriend’s pettiness would become.

“Tsumu, babe. Come on, you can’t be angry at me forever.” Another pout that drove Suna absolutely crazy, how could he look so cute while being angry, it was ridiculous.

“Babee, I said I was sorry and I bought you another box of chocolates, what more do you want me to do? I’m begging here.” He could tell that Atsumu’s resolve to stay mad was dissipating so he came close to him.

Close enough to pepper him with little kisses and Atsumu laughed, all the petty anger gone.

The first time that happened he didn’t think that much of it.

But when his boyfriend kept getting pissed at him for every little thing for it to end the exact same way –Suna kissing him silly–, he started getting suspicious.

Those suspicions were proven right very soon, Atsumu had always been an honest drunk.

“Hey, Sunarin, babe.” Atsumu said, while poking Suna’s thigh. “Wanna know a secret?” That made him perk up.

“What secret?” He asked.

“Ya know all those times I get mad at ya?” Suna hummed at that, he’d been driving him crazy lately.

“I wasn't really mad at ya, I just wanted ya to kiss me.” Suna laughed and Atsumu smiled brightly at him.

The next day Atsumu didn’t remember a thing.

Suna kept the secret, he never said anything to his boyfriend about it and when Atsumu came back acting all annoyingly pretty about some stupid thing, Suna just came close and kissed him for hours.

In the end, any excuse was perfect if he got to kiss his stupidly beautiful boyfriend.

"Alright, let's call it a day!" said Coach Foster.

"I'm gonna practice fer a bit longer," said Atsumu grabbing a ball.

It was Valentines Day and it was days like this that being so far from Rin hurt.

They had breakfast over Zoom and had plans for dinner as well. They texted throughout the day but he missed the kisses and just holding his hand. Atsumu wasn't looking forward to being in his apartment without Rin.

"Atsumu, don't over do it," warned Meian.

"I won't, Cap."

"Aren't you having dinner with Suna?" asked Sakusa.

"Yeah, but not til 8."

"Ya sure about that?" smirked Meian, looking over his shoulder.

Atsumu gave a confused look and gasped when he turned around.

"Rin?"

Dressed in sweats and eating a chuupet, Atsumu thought he never looked more handsome.

"Hey Tsumu."

Not thinking twice, he ran across the court and picked up his boyfriend.

"What are ya doing here?" he asked, pulling back slightly.

"Thought I'd visit," said Rin shrugging.

Happy tears started to form and Atsumu squeezed him harder.

"Ya missed me?" he asked grinning.

"Maybe."

They hugged for a few more minutes until Rin pulled away. "You stink & you're sweaty. Go take a shower."

"Ya love it when I'm sweaty," he said slyly.

Leaning in, Rin whispered, "I love watching you naked and sweating as you ride me."

"Rin!" said Atsumu, looking around to see if anyone heard.

"OK, fine, I also love it when you're on top and pounding into me," he conceded.

"I'm takin' a shower now!" Atsumu said, backing away as his cheeks burnt red as Rin chuckled. His favorite thing was seeing Atsumu blush.

"I'll wait for you here," he said, sitting on a bench.

Since Atsumu also loved seeing Rin blush, he turned around and yelled, "I love you, Suna Rintarou!"

He was rewarded with Rin's cheeks turning pink. Atsumu grinned widely as he turned towards the locker rooms, when he heard a familiar voice call-out, "Hey idiot!"

Atsumu turned around, expecting to see Rin's deadpanned face. Instead he saw a soft smile and cheeks his favorite shade of pink. "I love you, Miya Atsumu," he said loudly, before putting up his hood as awws were heard around the gym.

It wasn't the first time Rin said I love you, but it was the first time he shared it loudly in public. Atsumu knew his boyfriend wasn't huge on public declarations, so the fact Rin said it so publicly was not lost on him. He stared in surprise for a moment before he walked back over to him to kiss him gently. "Thank ya," he said, caressing his face.

Rin's cheeks remained pink as MSBY continued to tease them.

"Yer so cute when ya blush," teased Atsumu.

Pushing his face away, Rin said, "Go take your shower, dummy."

"Alright, I'll go."

He quickly showered, so he could to be with Rin. He grabbed his hand to pull him up.

"Ya ready?" he asked.

"Yeah, let's go home," said Rin, the soft smile appearing again.

Kissing Rin's hand, Atsumu said, "Home."
