Something is in the trees, it seems; at least, that's what the shaking of the leaves seem to tell. It races to one tree, to the next, and the next, and so forth; back and forth. It's a speedy, frantic motion, pausing occasionally in a stock-still state. The stillness is so sudden it's like the creature causing it was never there, at least until it began once again. It wasn't a bird, that was for sure. A cat wouldn't just go back and forth between trees. And whatever it was... it was blue; blue and scaly. There wasn't much to go off of for it, though. The thing was quick and covered by leaves. Eventually, the frantic moving stilled within the largest tree there was. Something nestled into the middle, a shoddy nest built out of leaves and flowers. It had become comfortable to lay down...

Cell looked up from their phone at hearing a distinct static-y crackling sound, and stood from where they were leaning on the hood of their car with a pair of binoculars in hand. A bright white portal tore open in the space right about where their elbow had been half a second previous, the opening twitching and flickering like a bad video game glitch before two bitties quickly stepped through.

Van pushed the thick eye mask up onto his brow, blinking rapidly to readjust his vision, while Code dug through the backpack slung over his fellow bitty's shoulder, pulling out a magic infused candy and shoving it in his mouth to recover his stores.

"Where Are They?"

The Papy-hybrid kept his voice as soft as he could manage as he scanned over the surrounding area, looking for the bitty that had been called in. Cell ducked down to his level, pointing and offering the binoculars.

"Up there, see? I think that mass is a nest of some kind."

A slamming against metal could be heard, thick PDG making contact with the ground. A person with messily chopped brown hair with grey streaks breathes heavily as they stand up, holding their pounding head as the neon green glow of the chondrichthian faded away. They dragged themself to lean against a nearby locker, feeling the aching headache fade away as the distance between him and the strange, many-eyed shark increased.

"..mimicry... that's a new one..." They huffed out, blinking as they glanced around the area. They'd love to take a look at the being, truly! But even taking a glance at the glowing outline of the shark makes them feel as if they were about to wilt away like a dry flower. Not like pain was an unfamiliar thing, but... well.

Still, they brace themself against the locker as they stand, glancing around the dark room. This was.. unfamiliar. New. Not the usual wide, maze-like hallways or the straightforward ones with walls of glass. It seemed like an L-shape, with lockers and— JESUS CHRIST IS THAT A GUN—?!

"HUHAHA HAHAH! Think fast looser!"

The turret empties it's entire round as soon as it locks onto the brown haired person, barely giving them a chance to react and hide behind the locker once more. As the fire ceases the turret hides back into the ceiling, possibly to reload before quickly coming back down and swiping around in search for it's target.

"Aww you're no fun...come out come out from wherever you areee~ I proooomise I won't hurt you! HAHAHA HAH HEHAHAHAH!!!"

Sand crushes underfoot, large paws sinking into the thick grains. She is not quite accustomed to the wet muddy part of the shore yet, though, her old memory flickers with the recall of Ryoshima.

This place is incredibly far from Nippon. She was not aware why that particular portal had led her here, but Ammy does not argue with fate's design. Moreover, it's a nice change of pace, and she's an adaptable sun goddess.

The wolf's pawsteps are followed by little flowers, sprouting and then vanishing in golden flickers of sunlight. She's not as powerful as she once was. Maybe other Brush Gods would be trapped here?

A very loud yawn escapes her, heavy head settling upon her stretched out forelegs. Whatever story that Airin is telling is very boring, and he could stand to finish it up quickly!!

Until then, Amaterasu decides to doze, onyx eyes sliding shut and chest heaving much slower than before.

She'll snore a bit too for good measure. Look at how bored she is!!
